Let’s go ahead and begin to Worship Him in the Spirit; Pray in Tongues.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Worshipped – Amen.
OPENING PRAYER
Our Father and our God, King of Kings, Lord of lords; the Ancient of Days. The Alpha and the Omega, the One who was, the One who is, the One who is to come, the Almighty.
The God of Pa Josiah Akindayomi; the Unchangeable Changer, our Redemption, our Provider, our Deliverer, our Hope, our Joy, God of Glory! Father we Worship You.
Father, receive our Thanks, in Jesus’ Name.
For what You have done in the Past in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), accept our Thanks in Jesus’ Name.
Please, do what Only You can do in our lives, in Jesus’ Name.
For all Your Children who are on their way, bring them down safely, in Jesus’ Name.
For all those who are already here, give them Miracles, in Jesus’ Name.
At the end let Your Name be Glorified.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
You are going to Pray these Prayers:
- Father, anyone who wants to interfere in this Conference, let Your Fire consume.
… Some People want to sneak in to the Ministers’ Conference to confuse, others are out to to steal, others for evil Political Purposes. Pray that anyone who would come to this Meeting for any Purpose that is not Divine, let the Fire of God consume.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Now, as we are going to learn later on; Jubilee is an individual matter. God would declare Jubilee for the whole world, but some People may not Partake.
… So, Pray this Prayer Point for yourself.
- Say Father, if it is my Ear that may not but want me to hear, Purify it. If it is my Mind that may want to wander, Purify it. If it is my eye that wants to lose focus, I declare, you will not lose focus.
Since it is written, “You are going to Purify the sons of Levites; any part of me – Within or Without, that will not allow me to get the full benefits of this Conference and the Convention, even as I read now on the Label of DMC; Holy Ghost Fire come down and Purify me.
Thank You Father! In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
The Lord will answer you by Fire – Amen!
And I say again, the Lord will answer you by Fire – Amen!!
One more time, every Prayer you will Pray during this Conference and the Convention: the Lord will answer by Fire – Amen!!!
So shall it! In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Now, shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: “You are Welcome!”

If anybody believes that this is going to be your Year of Jubilee, let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
- Tomorrow morning (Day 2, Friday the 5th of August, 2022) (if the Lord has not returned before then) by 7am come here and Worship God. I’ll join you by 8am.
- Come with your walking shoes tomorrow morning; we will do a little Prayer Walk (a Warm Up).
And if the Lord allows, on Saturday (Day 3, 6th August 2022); we will do a Proper Walk.
It’s not going to be compulsory. We will allow those who cannot cope – Seventy (70) years and above you may not need to join us.
Jeremiah 9:10-11 says; For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and Perform my Good Word toward you, in causing you to return to this Place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of Peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is Seventy (70) years old.
I. For Somebody, this would be the Year of Divine Visitation – Amen.
II. For Somebody, this would be the Year God would fulfill all His Prophecies – Amen.
III. For Somebody, this would be the Year when your Peace would begin – Amen.
IV. For Somebody, this is the Year that evil will end in your Life – Amen.
V. For Somebody, this would be the Year you will begin to reach your Goal – Amen.
It is there in His Word. It says: “That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you.”
Who is that “you”?
He said, “… And Perform my Good Word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.”
Who is that “you”?
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of Peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Who is He referring to here?
Definitely every Members of The DMC FAMILY!!!
It is for a certain Set of People, and I believe I am amongst them – Yes for the DMC Family Members!
Then, we will read Leviticus 25:9-10 – Then shalt thou cause the Trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh Month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the Trumpet Sound throughout all your Land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim Liberty throughout all the Land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a Jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his Possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
We normally do something when we come for the Minister’s Conference Preceeding the Convention.
We always start by asking the Elders to join me Praise God.
We would so that after I give my little Talk tonight. And I believe it will help us Praise God better.
Jubilee actually Stands for Two (2) Things combined:
- Restoration, and
- A New Beginning.
I. If you sold your Property, during the Year of Jubilee that Property is restored – Amen.
II. If you are in Bondage of anything, during the Year of Jubilee you are set free. And then you are given an opportunity to start afresh – Amen.
III. If you have been a debtor, during the Year of Jubilee your debts are cancelled – Amen.
IV. And if you have been serving as a Slave, during the Year of Jubilee you are set free – Amen.
There is no Year like the Year of Jubilee – It is a Year of Restoration when God can restore Physical, Mental and Spiritual loss and give you an opportunity to start afresh.
However, a Slave may say “I don’t want to go, I want to remain as a Slave”. Then God would say “let him remain a Slave.
And then He says, “To proclaim then the Year of Jubilee, you Blow a Trumpet.”
If you study the Bible, you would discovered what a Trumpet can be used for:
- A TRUMPET IS USED TO DECLARE WAR.
And that is why we are starting by declaring war on everyone who may want to interfere or hinder us in this Conference and Convention.
The Year of Jubilee is not a Year of Mercy – When we blow a Trumpet you are telling your enemies “I am here to give you Fire for Fire.”
- A TRUMPET CAN BE USED TO ANNOUNCE THE END OF WAR.
When you want to say “the battle is over” you blow the Trumpet.
- A TRUMPET IS BLOWN TO ANNOUNCE VICTORY.
When you are Winning you blow a Trumpet.
So, if you are a Winner let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
- A TRUMPET IS PHYSICALLY USED TO Praise God; WORSHIP AND THANK HIM.
So when the Trumpet is blown in the Year of Jubilee what does it mean?
I. It tells the enemy, you are in trouble.
II. The Battle is over for me!
III. It means the war is over, Peace has come.
IV. You are also telling the Almighty God, “I will Praise You.”
So tonight, to begin this Ministers’ Conference, I want to talk to you briefly from Psalms 103:1-5.
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
BLESS THE LORD.
What is the meaning of Blessing?
I have told you that several times.
But in a very simple term – It is adding something to someone over and above all his Needs.
And like I have told you before, the translation into Yoruba got it absolutely correct: “Ibukun” – You add to something. You dip, as it were, a bucket and pour it on something.
Extra Wealth, Extra Joy, Extra Strength, Extra Goodness; everything that is Good but in extra manner what has been.
You then ask yourself: How can I Bless the Lord? Because this is what David is saying “Bless the Lord…”
How can you add something to Someone Who has everything?
Because Psalms 24:1 says, The Earth is the LORD’s, and the Fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
I. How can we add something to the One Who said in Haggai 2:8 – The Silver is mine, and the Gold is mine, saith the LORD of Hosts?
II. How can we add something to the One Who said in Psalms 50:10 – For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills?
… All the animals, all the birds are His. He said, if I were hungry I won’t tell you.
I have said it before, when some People want to cover up their stinginess they will say: “Daddy, I just returned from Overseas, I don’t know what to buy for you that you don’t have.” I tell them, don’t be stringy!
But I Pray for you, a day is coming that you won’t need anything; and yet God would still give it to you – Amen.
How do you Bless the Lord? How do you bless Someone Who already has everything?
But God says in Psalms 50:23, Whoso offereth Praise Glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the Salvation of God.
He says Yes, I take Glory in your Praise.
The same God says He is seeking True worshippers – John 4:23-24. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the True Worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth.
Despite the fact that according to Revelation 5:11, the Mass Choir of the Almighty God consist of Angels so many that the Bible calls them ten thousand times ten thousand (10,000 x 10,000).
That in today’s calculation would mean a hundred Million (100,000,000) Angels. Plus a thousand times a thousand. Something that we have not included.
The Mass Choir of God consists of everything in Heaven: whether they be the Stars, Sun, etc.
It also consist of everything God created on Earth – When the trees clap their hands in Praise, it’s awesome; when the wind blows it Produces Music.
Part is the fish in the sea, they sing – Scientists have recorded the Music of Whales and other fish in the sea.
The animals in the forest and the birds sing and make music.
When you watch Documentaries on Animals and Birds you’ll way g when a gollila sings and beats its chest.
And yet God says “that is not enough, I still want people who will Praise me.
He still says, clap your hands O ye People; shout unto the Lord with the Voice of Triumph.
So, David said, “Bless the Lord…” But he said “O my Soul.” Not “Our Soul”.
… Jubilee is an individual business.
Exodus 21:1-6, God said, when I decree that everyone in bondage should go, if someone says “Master, I don’t want to go, I would rather remain your Slave.”
God says, no Problem! If he says so, so be it.
Is there anyone here who is anxious to be free? Let that fellow shout Hallelujah- Hallelujah.
Now, I have said this one before; with the Trillions of People Praising God; if there is somebody in our midst who says “I am not going to shout Hallelujah. How many times are we going to shout Hallelujah?” Who is going to miss you? – No one!
David said to his own Soul (and not to all of us); “Bless the Lord O my Soul.”
I was Studying with my children in our Morning Devotion only this week and I told them, when David said “Bless the Lors Oh my Soul”:
1.IT COULD BE AN ADVISE
I. He could be telling his Soul, I advise you to bless your Maker.
Because John 1:1-3 makes it clear:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
… My Soul, I am not asking you to bless me, you are to bless your Maker.
II. He could also be saying, my Soul, you better bless the One Who Owns you.
Psalms 24:1 says, The Earth is the LORD’s, and the Fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
You are here on this Earth because the Lord gave you “C of O” (Certificate of Occupancy).
If He revokes the Certificate of Occupancy (C of 0) today, you will leave the Earth.
I remember years ago, when someone said he was going to Revoke the Certificate of Occupancy of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
I said, tell him: my Father gave us the Certificate of Occupancy of RCCG. If he tries to Revoke our Certificate of Occupancy, I will tell my Father to Revoke his Certificate of Occupancy here on Earth.
… He Owns the Earth you are living in.
III. Bless the Lord Oh my Soul” could be saying – Bless your Preserver.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says, It is of the LORD’s Mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are New every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
David is saying, “My Soul listen, you are alive today because He Preserved you.”
Like I was asking them few weeks ago: “Are you alive today because you took all the Precautions against Coronavirus?”
I never saw a Single Person in Ifewara wear a Nose Mask and yet Nobody died.
I said, I see the Bus Conductor in Lagos, how many times People come in and go out of their buses; he collects fare from Passengers and give them balance. He contacts People in their Numbers, and yet was not killed by Coronavirus.
Is it your Precautions that Protected you? – No, it is His Mercies!
… Would you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.
David said, I am advising you – Bless the Lord Oh my Soul.
I am taking the Place of David to advise you: Bless the Lord. He is Your Maker, He is Your Owner, He is Your Preserver, His Mercies have kept you.
And I hope you will keep the advice?
- IT COULD BE A PLEA.
I am Pleading with you my Soul, Bless the Lord. I know there are certain things happening around your Life that you don’t like, but I Plead with you – “Bless the Lord.”
Psalms 43:5 says: Why art thou cast down, O my Soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet Praise Him, who is the Health of my countenance, and my God.
There is still Hope for you in God – One day you are still going to have cause to Bless the Lord.
Is there anybody who is not hundred Percent (100%) happy? Can you go ahead and bless the Lord – HALLELUJAH!
If we say “Bless the Lord” and you say “I am not Pleased with Him.” So what are you going to do?
Jesus said to His Disciples, “Will you also go away?” Peter replied, “To whom shall we go? We are at the last bus stop.”
- IT COULD BE A COMMAND.
David could be saying to his Soul, I command you – Bless the Lord! Because Psalms 108:1-3 says:
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give Praise, even with my Glory. Awake, Psaltery and Harp: I myself will awake early. I will Praise thee, O LORD, among the People: and I will sing Praises unto thee among the Nations.
So, David could be saying to his Soul, I have already made up my Mind to Praise – So join me.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 says:
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
David went further to say, “… and all that is within me Bless His Holy Name.”
Do you know that all the critical things in your Life are within? – The heart, liver (Life depends on the liver), Intestine, womb (for women), your blood.
Which according to Leviticus 17:11 says: For the Life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the Altar to make an atonement for your Souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the Soul.
But there are some things within you also: your Voice Box, that enables you to even speak at all.
Psalms 47:1 says, clap your hands, all ye People; shout unto God with the Voice of Triumph.
A Lady shared a Testimony recently, that her voice box was damaged. And she attended one of the Holy Ghost Services (HGS), and God healed her. When she was shouting, People could not understand why.
The ability to Speak at all is within. David said, for voice box, Bless the Lord!
God has the ability to stop your voice; you better bless the Name of the Lord.
I don’t want to tell you Stories tonight; but Testimonies buttress the things that we teach.
There is this Story of a very wealthy man – A Socialite. When he arrives at a Party that is when the party begins. And then he had a Stroke that took away his voice.
And I Decree in the Name that’s above every other names, none of you will ever have a Stroke again – Amen.
And so I was in London and my friend, who happens to be his friend too, said I should accompany him to go and Pray for the man. When we entered his hospital room, his wife greeted us and left!
After she left, the man tried to pass a message to us by making different Signs. For thirty (30) minutes we couldn’t understand the Sign. Finally, we said: Oh, your wife that just left, she said she is coming!
… If you want to shout, shout – HALLELUJAH!!!!
Use that voice box to shout to the Lord – HALLELUJAH.
There are certain things that are within that are not even Physical – Like your Memory, ability to understand, ability to reason. They are all within.
When you read Daniel 4:28-37, you hear Nebuchadnezzar speak after his restoration.
Remember: Jubilee has to do with Restoration, starting afresh.
Nebuchadnezzar said, And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto Heaven, and mine Understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I Praised and Honoured Him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an Everlasting Dominion, and His Kingdom is from Generation to Generation – Daniel 4:34
Ability to remember at all, which is something within: is enough to Thank God for.
One of the worse sickness of Old age is that one may have Memory Loss.
Not long ago, one of my friends said he wanted to visit someone famous. I asked him to greet the fellow. He said the fellow looked at him and said, “Who are you?”
… She has forgotten everything! She couldn’t even remember her children.
A Professor, a Madman who was sitting in front of Ilesha Grammar School Gate in those days; if we want to learn about real History, we just bought him a keg of Palmwine.
After he finished drinking the Palmwine, he would say: What History do you want to learn about – English History, American History, European History? From what year to what year?
But ask him, “What is your name? He cannot remember! Where do you come from? What is your age?” He does not remember!
He was a Professor of History, but something went wrong with his brain.
If I ask you, “Who are you? – Can you tell? YES!
Where do you come from? – Can you tell? YES!
If I say, Stand Up; would you understand? YES!
If I say shout Hallelujah – Can you understand? YES!
I am just Preparing your Mind for a time when we would Praise and Worship the Lord.
Then David went on to say, “Forget not all His Benefits.”
Psalms 106:9-14 tells us, Then believed they His Words; they sang His Praise.
But they soon forgot! They Praised God, but they soon forgot. “They soon forgat his works; they waited not for His Counsel:”
David began to list for us the things that we shouldn’t forget to Bless God for – Salvation, Healing, Provision, Restoration, the Renewal of your age, etc.
I feel that we have been Prepared to Praise God tonight.
I want to end with a Testimony of a Sister whose car was hijacked on the Highway – Some thieves came and snatched her car.
And after she recovered from the initial shock, she began to dance and Praise God.
Bless the Lord Oh my Soul – By Dancing.
When you dance, everything in you will shake, and join you in Praising God.
And People asked to woman, “Why are you dancing?”
She replied:
- They stole my car, not my lyife.
- I even have something Someone else wants so much that they take it by force.
There are some People out there who have nothing People can steal from.
- The biggest Point which I am dancing for is my Salvation.
I could be an armed robber myself, but for the Mercies of God.
Somebody who just lost her car could still say – Bless the Lord oh my Soul: As an advise, as a Plea, for Salvation of her Soul.
In the Year of Jubilee, the first thing is that they blow the trumpet as Praise to God.
… We will pick it up from there by tomorrow (Day 2, Friday 5th August 2022).
We will also tell you the Program for the day by tomorrow.
I have cause to Praise God – That I am alive to see this Year of Jubilee.
In the Past Forty (40) years of celebrating this Convention in this Camp, I have Testimonies about my Life.
I. The lastest being that of 2018, when I had to spend Christmas in bed.
II. What of the day a crowd gathered to kill me, they even broke the windows of the Helicopter. But I am still alive today.
That you are even able to hear me; that I am around for this Special Jubilee Convention; I can say:
“Bless the Lord Oh my Soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name.”
I don’t know the various things that you have Passed through but I am sure you are a Survival!
Last Month, I buried my best friend of fifty nine (59) years. And as I saw him in the casket, my mind went back over the Past fifty nine (59) years.
Because we met at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, years before the Bridge was built. There was a day we were coming from Nsukka late. From Asaba we took a boat going to Onitsha to get a bus going to Lagos.
And a little while there was a Storm on River Niger – Water filled out boat. It was dark, so the People in Onitsha could not see us, the People in Asaba could not see us.
And the boatman has to use one hand to bail the water, while he used the other hand to Paddle the canoe.
That was in 1964; but we didn’t die!
I remembered all these things and I began to count my Blessings and to name them one by one.
I have reasons to Praise the Lord – I don’t know about you!
THIRTY (30) MINUTES OF PRAISING GOD.
I am going to invite the Elders to join me here very quickly, so that we can Praise the Lord together. My wife, Members of the Governing Counsel, Members of Board of Trustees, the Continental Officers.
Oh, Thank You Almighty God.
The rest of us, we may want to also spend the next Thirty (30) Minutes to Praise God.
… And then make sure you drop your Offering before you leave.
