BIBLE TEXT: ZACHARIAH 4:6

Then he said answered and spake unto me saying: This is the Word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel saying, Not by might nor by Power but my spirit saith the Lord of Hosts.

To defeat your enemies, you need two (2) basic things: Strength and Power.

In Judges 16: 1-5; the Philistines said to the wife of Samson: find out for us the secret of his strength. The reason why he has been dealing with us and defeating us is because he is stronger than us.

Daddy prayed that no matter how hard your enemies may try; they will not find out the secret of your strength.

A man may not be physically as strong as you but with strength, he can deal with you.

In Genesis 31: 26-29; Laban said to Jacob, it is in the power of my hand to do you hurt but your God told me not to do it.

For Strength, you need food. In Acts 9: 19-22; after Saul met with Jesus Christ on his way to Damascus and surrendered to Him. He fasted for three (3) days to start his Ministry but he needed strength. So after eating the food, he regained his strength.

… The Strength you needed to serve God receive it tonight in Jesus Name.

In 1 Kings 19: 4-8; the Angels brought food for Elijah twice. Why you may want to ask? He needed it for the journey ahead of him.

… And there is no food that is more strength giving than the body of Jesus Christ. So when you come to the table tonight and take the bread it is because you need Strength.

True Power can only come from God. In Psalm 62:11; the bible says: God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this; that Power belongeth unto God.

So in Matthew 10:1; when Jesus Christ want to send out His Disciples, He gave them Power because He knew that they will face forces of darkness. That’s why in Acts 1:8; He promises them Power. And according to Ephesians 5;18; the Holy Ghost that will give you the Power is compared to the wine.

So when you come to the table of the Lord tonight, eat the bread for Strength because you alone cannot defeat your enemies talkless of wining them. The bread therefore bring about Healing and Strength to overcome.

You also drink the wine in order to received Power from the Holy Spirit.

The conclusion of the matter can be found in Matthew 15: 21-28. Jesus Christ simply said that I cannot give the bread of the children to the dogs.

The bread is only for the children of God. That is why it is not everybody that can come to the Lord’s Table. It is not an ordinary meal.

So if you are here or at the old Arena or anywhere at our various Viewing Centers and you are not yet a child of God then please don’t take the Holy Communion except that you are willing to surrender your life to Jesus Christ first. So I will count 1 to 5 for anyone here who want to give his/her life to Jesus Christ to come to the altar so that you can be qualified to eat the Holy Communion.

… As you come to the front, keep on crying to Jesus Christ for the salvation of your soul. Tell him to have mercy on you, save your soul and accept you to the family of God.

When you are served the bread, you can go ahead to eat it and pray thus: Ask God that He should give Strength that is much more than your enemy and that there will not be sickness anymore in your body.

When you are served the wine, you will wait till everybody is served as we will all take it together. Our Prayer will be: God give me Power to subdue all my enemies. Please release to me now all the Powers that is standing between me and the fullness of my joy.

PRAYER OVER OFFERING: Father, through this offering please release now the power to subdue poverty in every area of my life.
