    THE HOLY MONDAY

    In Christianity, the Holy Monday is the last Monday prior to Easter Sunday. It is the second day of Holy Week after Palm Sunday.

    Some denominations celebrate Holy Monday, and some do not.

    The Eastern Orthodox Church observes the day, typically marking it with Bible readings and certain hymns.

    According to tradition, Holy Monday is the day on which Jesus cleansed the Temple, was praised by local children, and cursed the fig tree (Matthew 21:12–22).

    It is the day following Palm Sunday, when Jesus came to Jerusalem in the Triumphal Entry (Matthew 21:1–11).

    THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE TRIUMPHANT ENTRY SUNDAY

    The triumphal Entry is that of Jesus coming into Jerusalem on what we know as Palm Sunday – the Sunday before the crucifixion (John 12:1, 12).

    The story of the Triumphal Entry is one of the few incidents in the life of Jesus which appears in all four Gospel accounts (Matthew 21:1-17; Mark 11:1-11; Luke 19:29-40; John 12:12-19).

    Putting the four accounts together, it becomes clear that the Triumphal Entry was a significant event, not only to the people of Jesus’ day, but to Christians throughout history.

    We celebrate Palm Sunday to remember that momentous occasion.

    On that day, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a borrowed donkey’s colt, one that had never been ridden before. The disciples spread their cloaks on the donkey for Jesus to sit on, and the multitudes came out to welcome Him, laying before Him their cloaks and the branches of palm trees. The people hailed and praised Him as the “King who comes in the Name of the Lord” as He rode to the Temple, where He taught the people, healed them, and drove out the money-changers and merchants who had made His Father’s house a “den of robbers” (Mark 11:17).

    Jesus’ purpose in riding into Jerusalem was to make public His claim to be their Messiah and King of Israel in fulfillment of Old Testament Prophecy. Matthew says that the King coming on the foal of a donkey was an exact fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9 – “Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

    Jesus rode into His capital city as a conquering King and is hailed by the people as such, in the manner of the day. The streets of Jerusalem, the royal city, are open to Him, and like a king He ascends to His Palace, not a temporal Palace but the Spiritual Palace that is the Temple, because His is a Spiritual Kingdom. He receives the Worship and Praise of the people because only He deserves it.

    No longer does He tell His disciples to be quiet about Him (Matthew 12:16, 16:20) but to shout His Praises and Worship Him openly.

    The spreading of cloaks was an act of homage for Royalty (see 2 Kings 9:13).

    Jesus was openly declaring to the people that He was their King and the Messiah they had been waiting for. 

    Unfortunately, the Praise the people lavished on Jesus was not because they recognized Him as their Savior from sin. They welcomed Him out of their desire for a Messianic Deliverer, someone who would lead them in a revolt against Rome. There were many who, though they did not believe in Christ as Savior, nevertheless hoped that perhaps He would be to them a great Temporal Deliverer.

    These are the ones who hailed Him as King with their many hosannas, recognizing Him as the Son of David who came in the Name of the Lord. But when He failed in their expectations, when He refused to lead them in a massive revolt against the Roman occupiers, the crowds quickly turned on Him. Within just a few days, their hosannas would change to cries of “Crucify Him!” (Luke 23:20-21).

    Those who hailed Him as a hero would soon reject and abandon Him. 

    The story of the Triumphal Entry is one of contrasts, and those contrasts contain applications to believers.

    It is the story of the King who came as a lowly servant on a donkey, not a prancing steed, not in royal robes, but on the clothes of the poor and humble.

    Jesus Christ comes not to conquer by force as earthly kings but by Love, Grace, Mercy, and His own sacrifice for His people.

    His is not a kingdom of armies and splendor but of lowliness and servanthood.

    He conquered not Nations but hearts and minds.

    His message is one of Peace with God, not of temporal peace.

    If Jesus has made a Triumphal Entry into our hearts, He reigns there in Peace and Love. As His followers, we exhibit those same qualities, and the world sees the true King living and reigning in triumph in us.

    TRIUMPHANT ENTRY SUNDAY

    This is a Significant Sunday in the history of Christendom as it is the Sunday Jesus Christ Triumphantly rode on an horse into the City of Jerusalem.

    By nature of the events that herald this Triumphant Entry, it is normally referred to as PALM SUNDAY.

    What then is Palm Sunday?

    Palm Sunday is the day we celebrate the Triumphant Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, one week before His resurrection (Matthew 21:1–11).

    As Jesus Christ entered the Holy city, He neared the culmination of a long journey toward Golgotha. He had come to save the lost (Luke 19:10), and now was the time—this was the place—to secure that salvation.

    Palm Sunday marked the start of what is often called “Passion Week,” the final seven days of Jesus’ earthly ministry. Palm Sunday was the “beginning of the end” of Jesus’ work on earth.

    Palm Sunday began with Jesus Christ and His disciples traveling over the Mount of Olives. The Lord sent two disciples ahead into the village of Bethphage to find an animal to ride. They found the unbroken colt of a donkey, just as Jesus Christ had said they would (Luke 19:29–30). When they untied the colt, the owners began to question them. The disciples responded with the answer Jesus Christ had provided: “The Lord needs it” (Luke 19:31–34). Amazingly, the owners were satisfied with that answer and let the disciples go. “They brought the donkey to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus Christ on it” (Luke 19:35).

    As Jesus Christ ascended towards Jerusalem, a large multitude gathered around Him. This crowd understood that Jesus Christ was the Messiah. However, what they did not understood was that it wasn’t time to set up the kingdom yet – although Jesus Christ had tried to tell them so (Luke 19:11–12). The crowd’s actions along the road give rise to the name “Palm Sunday”: “A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road” (Matthew 21:8). In strewing their cloaks on the road, the people were giving Jesus the royal treatment—King Jehu was given similar honor at his coronation (2 Kings 9:13). John records the detail that the branches they cut were from palm trees (John 12:13).

    On that first Palm Sunday, the people also honoured Jesus Christ verbally: “The crowds that went ahead of Him and those that followed shouted, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David!’; ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’. ‘Hosanna in the highest heaven!’” (Matthew 21:9).

    In their praise of Jesus Christ, the Jewish crowds were quoting Psalm 118:25–26, an acknowledged prophecy of the Christ. The allusion to a Messianic psalm drew resentment from the religious leaders present: “Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus Christ, ‘Teacher, rebuke your disciples!’ (Luke 19:39). However, Jesus saw no need to rebuke those who told the truth. He replied, “I tell you . . . if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out” (Luke 19:40).

    Some 450 to 500 years prior to Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem, the prophet Zechariah had prophesied the event we now call Palm Sunday: “Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!  Shout, Daughter Jerusalem!  See, your king comes to you,  righteous and victorious,  lowly and riding on a donkey,  on a colt, the foal of a donkey” (Zechariah 9:9).

    The prophecy was fulfilled in every particular, and it was indeed a time of rejoicing, as Jerusalem welcomed their King. Unfortunately, the celebration was not to last. The crowds looked for a Messiah who would rescue them politically and free them Nationally, but Jesus Christ had come to save them Spiritually. First things first, and mankind’s primary need is Spiritual, not Political, Cultural, or National Salvation.

    Even as the coatless multitudes waved the palm branches and shouted for joy, they missed the true reason for Jesus’ presence. They could neither see nor understand the cross. That’s why, “as Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it and said, ‘If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies . . . will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you” (Luke 19:41–47).

    It is a tragic thing to see the Saviour but not recognize Him for who He is by the crowd.

    Think over this as we rejoice in His Triumphant Entry once again!

  • WHAT ARE THE ORIGINS OF EASTER?

    WHAT ARE THE ORIGINS OF EASTER?

    The origins of Easter are obscure. It is often assumed that the name Easter comes from a pagan figure called Eastre (or Eostre) who was celebrated as the goddess of spring by the Saxons of Northern Europe. According to the theory, Eastre was the “goddess of the east (from where the sun rises),” her symbol was the hare (a symbol of fertility), and a festival called Eastre was held during the spring equinox by the Saxons to honor her. This theory on the origin of Easter is highly problematic, however.

    The major problem with associating the origin of Easter with the pagan goddess Eastre/Eostre is that we have no hard evidence that such a goddess was ever worshiped by anyone, anywhere. The only mention of Eastre comes from a passing reference in the writings of the Venerable Bede, an eighth-century monk and historian. Bede wrote, “Eosturmononath has a name which is now translated as ‘Paschal month,’ and which was once called after a goddess of theirs named Eostre, in whose honor feasts were celebrated in that month. Now they designate the Paschal season by her name, calling the joys of the new rite by the time-honoured name of the old observance” (De Temporum Ratione). And that’s it. Eostre is not mentioned in any other ancient writing; we have found no shrines, no altars, nothing to document the worship of Eastre. It is possible that Bede simply extrapolated the name of the goddess from the name of the month.

    In the nineteenth century, the German folklorist Jakob Grimm researched the origins of the German name for Easter, Ostern, which in Old High German was Ostarâ. Both words are related to the German word for “east,” ost. Grimm, while admitting that he could find no solid link between Easter and pagan celebrations, made the assumption that Ostara was probably the name of a German goddess. Like Eastre, the goddess Ostara was based entirely on supposition and conjecture; before Grimm’s Deustche Mythologie (1835), there was no mention of the goddess in any writings.

    So, while the word Easter most likely comes from an old word for “east” or the name of a springtime month, we don’t have much evidence that suggests anything more. Assertions that Easter is pagan or that Christians have appropriated a goddess-holiday are untenable. Today, however, it seems that Easter might as well have pagan origins, since it has been almost completely commercialized—the world’s focus is on Easter eggs, Easter candy, and the Easter bunny.

    Christians celebrate Easter as the resurrection of Christ on the third day after His crucifixion. It is the oldest Christian holiday and the most important day of the church year because of the significance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the events upon which Christianity is based (1 Corinthians 15:14). In some Christian traditions, Easter Sunday is preceded by the season of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting and repentance culminating in Holy Week and followed by a 50-day Easter season that stretches from Easter to Pentecost.

    Because of the commercialization and possible pagan origins of Easter, many churches prefer to call it “Resurrection Sunday.” The rationale is that, the more we focus on Christ and His work on our behalf, the better. Paul says that without the resurrection of Christ our faith is futile (1 Corinthians 15:17). What more wonderful reason could we have to celebrate! Whether we call it “Easter” or “Resurrection Sunday,” what is important is the reason for our celebration, which is that Christ is alive, making it possible for us to have eternal life (Romans 6:4)!

    Should we celebrate Easter or allow our children to go on Easter egg hunts? This is a question both parents and church leaders struggle with. Ultimately, it comes down to a matter of conscience (Romans 14:5). There is nothing essentially evil about painting and hiding eggs and having children search for them. What is important is our focus. If our focus is on Christ, our children can be taught to understand that the eggs are just a fun game. Children should know the true meaning of the day, and parents and the church have a responsibility to teach the true meaning.

    In the end, participation in Easter egg hunts and other secular traditions must be left up to the discretion of parents.

    OPENING PRAYER:

    King of kings and Lord of lords; the Almighty God we worship You, we give You all Glory and Honour for what You are doing in Europe today. We thank You because You are doing something in the Spiritual that will soon manifest in the Physical. Please accept our worship in Jesus’ Name.

    Thank You for Your children who are graduating. We commit them into Your hands. Father, we pray that they will not leave here with ordinary Certificate. They will leave with Your Anointing; they will leave with Your Presence; they will leave with Your Backing. That You will use them Mightily for Your Glory.

    And we pray Lord God Almighty once again for those people You have Ordained; we pray Lord God Almighty that the Anointing that has come upon them today will never run dry. And that they too will serve You like never before.

    And everyone here (or reading) Lord God Almighty, I pray that because of the Unction of the Anointing, every yokes in their lives will be destroyed. Thank You in advanced for what You will do this week in Europe;

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

    I want to congratulate all those who Graduated today; you don’t know how BLESSED you are. You are very, very BLESSED! In my own case, when God grabbed me: I had no time to go to Bible College. In my time, there was no School of Disciples. School of Disciples started in 1985, after I had become General Overseer. So you are blessed! You have got a Special Extra Blessing from God.

    As for those who have been Ordained today, congratulations! When I was ordained in 1975; I was so jealous of the Oil that for three (3) days I didn’t take my bath.

    Don’t follow my examples!

    As at that time, I didn’t know that there is no soap that can wash away the Anointing. So take your bath, don’t say because … (laughter).

    … Glory be to God! God will be with you, and He will use you for His Glory – Amen!

    I want to thank ALL my Brothers and Sisters from other Ministries who are cooperating with us for this Special Program – the Lord will prosper your Ministries, and His Anointing upon you will increase Mightily. And together by the Special Grace of God, Europe shall be saved by our hands – Amen!

    … Now let’s go ahead and give the Lord a big round of applause.

    BIBLE TEXT: ISAIAH 60:1-3;

    1. Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the Glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 

    2. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His Glory shall be seen upon thee. 

    3. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

    … If that is for you, say Amen – AMEN!

    Everything God does is for a Purpose.

    God never does anything without a purpose.

    NEVER! He never allows a Convention to take place without a PURPOSE.

    Revelation 4:11 makes it clear: He made ALL things for His pleasure.

    The Bible said He even made the wicked for the day of evil.

    The Bible tells us that He raised up Pharaoh so that when He drown him, the world will know that there is a King of kings.

    … Everything He does is for a PURPOSE!

    So your being Ordained today, and your Graduating today is for a PURPOSE!

    We are saved by Grace – for a Purpose.

    Ephesians 2:8-10 says: We are saved by Grace, not by works so that nobody can boast. But then He tells us immediately, after that; that we might do GOOD WORKS, that He had foreordained us to do.

    He saved us by Grace, so that we can do Good Works.

    … There is a Purpose for your salvation:

    1. We are HEALED for a Purpose.

    What is that PURPOSE?

    To become a TESTIMONY.

    Mark 1:40-45; He healed a leper and told the leper: Tell no one!

    The leper laughed: How can I keep quiet? I was considered incurable, I wasn’t even sure You will be willing to make me clean (even though I know You have the ability). And then You went ahead, You made me clean. You even broke protocol by touching me. And now You want me to keep quiet? He said: I will tell the world!

    … We are HEALED to be a TESTIMONY!

    2. We are DELIVERED to WITNESS.

    In Mark 5:2-20 the Bible tells us of a mad man in Gadara, who was so mad that he himself has written himself off. He was living in the graveyard. And then he came across the Lord Jesus Christ, and He set him free. (We would probably be hearing more about that one, if God wished).

    And after Jesus set him free; he came to Him and said: I will go with You now wherever you go.

    Jesus said: NO! I have a PURPOSE for setting you free. Go back and tell your people, tell them what God has done for you.

    … We are DELIVERED to be a WITNESS!

    3. We are BLESSED to be a BLESSING.

    Genesis 12:1-3; the Bible made it clear that when God was speaking to Abraham, He said: I will bless you, I will make you Great, I will make your name great, and shall be a blessing.

    Oh! I will bless those who bless you; I will curse those who curse you, and through your seed shall all the Nations of the world be blessed.

    … We are BLESSED to be a BLESSING!

    4. We are PROSPERED to LEND.

    Deuteronomy 28:11-12; it says the Lord is going to bless you: Will bless your store, will bless your basket, and you shall lend to Nations.

    So if you Prosper, it is for the Purpose of lending to Nations.

    Just like the AGO said, when God prospered Europe: it started lending to Nations. And as long as they were doing that, as long as they were sending Missionaries, they kept on prospering; prospering materially, prospering physically, prospering spiritually.

    But then a time came when they stopped lending to Nations: Missionaries stopped coming, and when the Purpose is no longer been fulfilled: the Prosperity started collapsing.

    So if you have been saved and you are not doing the Good Works that He expects you to do; you shouldn’t be surprised if you backslide.

    Because when you are saved, you become a branch of Jesus Christ – The Vine.

    And He said in John 15:1-5; the branch that is bearing fruits will be a TESTIMONY.

    And like I told some of us in the past; the moment God heals you and you testify, if Satan comes to try to steal your healing; all you need to do is say: I have already TESTIFIED.

    And the Lord will rise up to make sure that your Healing is permanent.

    If you have been set free from forces of darkness and you do not Witness; you run the risk of going back into bondage.

    If you are blessed, and you are not a blessing; the blessing can even become a problem.

    And many of you will remember in those days, when you had maybe three (3) to four (4) pairs of shoes. Going to Church was easy, because if you wore a black shoe this Sunday, next Sunday you will probably wear brown.

    But as the shoes began to multiply, and your house become as a Supermarket; getting ready for Church became difficult.

    5. You are CALL to SERVE.

    So don’t just bear the title “Minister”. It’s not the Title that will do the Work. You may be an Apostle and not be able to heal ordinary headache. You could be just a Deacon and raise the dead. It’s not the Title, it’s the Anointing.

    It’s how you use the Anointing that will determine how the Anointing will grow.

    In 1 Kings 1:19-21; when He called Elisha, the Bible says: immediately, Elisha followed Elijah and began to MINISTER unto God.

    CALL to SERVE! The word “Minister” is a Latin word, meaning “Servant”.

    So we hear that you, as a Minister of the Gospel, you are supposed to be a SERVANT to the people.

    It is the world that stole the word MINISTER and turn it to something BIG!

    So when we hear that somebody is Minister of State, when he is coming, people begin to tremble.

    … You are CALLED to SERVE!

    6. And then finally, you are ANOINTED to PREACH; Anointed to heal, Anointed to set captives free, Anointed to transform lives, Anointed to Shine!

    Isaiah 61:1-3; The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach, to heal, to set the captives free, to transform lives.

    … That is the PURPOSE of the ANOINTING!

    I have heard people saying, somebody has special Anointing for frying chicken (That’s for KFC).

    You are Anointed to preach, anointed to lay hand on the sick so that they can recover; anointed to tell demons to get out of the way (and he will go).

    That’s why you heard in my prayer: What you ask to come will come; what you ask to go will go.

    … That’s the PURPOSE of the ANOINTING!

    When He says Arise, Shine; your light is come: the Purpose of you getting light is so that you will Shine!

    And what is the PURPOSE of your SHINNING?

    It is so that kings can come into the brightness of your rising.

    The reason God is calling this Convention; the reason God has started it off with Graduation and Ordination: is that you will know, you have an ASSIGNMENT.

    And if only you will show your light; it will not be long before Europe shall be saved.

    In CONCLUSION: Supposed you are here this evening; you are not here to Graduate, you are not here to be Ordained, you are not already ordained in another Ministry. But you came because you were invited – invited by your friend who is graduating; invited by your friend who is been Ordained.

    What is the PURPOSE of an Invitation (because everything has a purpose)?

    Oh, in Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus Christ says;  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

    You got the invitation to come tonight so that you can come to Jesus and He can give you rest.

    ALTAR CALL:

    So if you are here, and  you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ; He brought you here for a purpose – so that He can reach out to you and save your soul.

    Everything will become new, because He says: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    So if there is anyone here at all, and you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ; am going to give you an opportunity to do so now. I will count from one (1) to four (4), before I say four (4), if you want to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, please come and stand before me.  I will cry to the Almighty God for you. That He will save your soul, forgive your sins and give you a brand new beginning.

    So if there is anyone here at all, and you have not yet given your life to Jesus; but you want to do so now, please come as I begin to count. If by the time I say four (4) there is no one here, I will assume we are all saved.

    Am counting now …

    God bless you, you are welcome. Keep coming, don’t wait for anyone, you might be the only one remaining now. God bless you!

    Now those of you who have come forward, please talk to the Almighty: say please just save my soul. I have come to surrender my life to You. And I will serve You from now on – I will do Your will; be my Saviour and my Father.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION:

    My Father and my God, I want to bless your Holy Name. I want to say thank You for Your Words. Thank You for all these your children who have come to surrender their lives to You. Thank You for remembering Your Promises that “whosoever will come unto You, You will in no wise cast out.” They have come to you now Father, please remember them in Jesus’ Name.

    Have Mercy on them, let your Blood wash away their sins. Save their Souls today and write their names in the Book of Life. From now on, anytime they cry unto You, please answer them by Fire.

    In Jesus Mighty name we have prayed – Amen!

    Praise the Lord – Hallelujah.

    And now, before you go (you are the First Fruit of this Convention); so I must shake your hands. Congratulations!

    And Counsellors, please get their details so that I can continue to pray for them. Please follow that man!

    … Let’s give the Lord a very be round of applause.

    Now, am going to ask you to pray a very Special Prayer. And the Prayer is that: God will help you FULFILL your PURPOSE in life.

    So would you please stand. And if you believe God is going to answer you, would you lift your voice and shout a Big Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH!

    I want you to please pray this Prayer with all your heart: it is very, very crucial – what is the PURPOSE why you came into this world. And that you want that PURPOSE to be FULFILLED.

    So lift your voices to the Almighty God and say Father; the PURPOSE for which you sent sent me to this world; let that PURPOSE be FULFILLED.

    … Go ahead, lift your voices to the Almighty God and PRAY!!!!

    OPENING PRAYER:

    Ancient of days we give You all the Glory, Our Saviour, Our Healer, Our Provider, Our Defender, Our all in all, we give You all the Glory. Father be Glorified forever In Jesus’ Name.

    Father, we are here this morning on Your behalf to pronounce a Father’s Blessing on Your children. Lord, let them be Blessed; bless them in the morning, bless them in the afternoon, bless them in the evening, bless them in the night time. When they are going out, let them be blessed, when they are coming in, let them be blessed. In their places of work, let them be blessed, everywhere they go, Lord, let them be blessed. Whatever they touch, let them prosper. Whatever they desire from you today even before the sunset, turn it to a Testimony. As a result of today Service, let there be a Major turn around for them.

    Please my Father and my God, everyone of them here today, promote them, prosper them, defend them, fight their battles for them, increase their Joy, take them to a higher level. In every area of their lives Father, show them Favour. I pray Lord, set them in a particular place, let it be Good News and the Grace to serve You as never before, release unto them.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

    Let somebody Shout Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH!

    Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) people and tell them “I AM BLESSED ALREADY” – I AM BLESSED ALREADY!

    BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 12:1-3

    1. Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee:

    2. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

    3. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

    If those Blessings are for you, let me hear your amen loud and clear – AMEN!

    Probably one of the most Powerful Forces in the world is a BLESSING. It has a twin sister equally Powerful and that is a CURSE.

    A Blessing is an invitation to all the forces on Earth, in Heaven, underneath the Earth to assist somebody to SUCCEED. Again, even the ground you are walking on, the water you drink, when you are blessed, they all will work together to make sure you succeed.

    A Curse on the other way round is a summon to all forces to make sure that somebody FAIL.

    And so, I want to decree that if there is a CURSE still left in your family, it will be destroyed today!

    If you read Genesis 24: 34-35; And he said: I [am] Abraham’s servant. And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.”

    … Somebody said I am Abraham’s servant and the Lord has blessed my Master greatly.

    What is the RESULT of that BLESSING?

    1. He said he has BECOME GREAT: When God blesses you, you will become great;

    2. And then he said has given him flocks, herds, sheep’s, Silver, Gold because God has blessed him.

    When God blesses you, you become great; you become prosperous – whatever you touch will just be succeeding so much so good that people will begin to ask, “how do you do it?”

    Again and again, many of my colleagues will come to me and say “daddy, tell us what is your secret, how do you do it?” I always say, “I am not doing anything, am just being BLESSED!”

    I decree again this morning, everyone of you will be Blessed – Amen!

    Now, BLESSINGS are in degrees;

    1. For example Esau (you know the story very well) got a remnant of his father blessing.

    Genesis 27: 38-40: “And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, [even] me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept. And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above; And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.”

    He came in after the real blessing had been given to his brother. So he cried out to the father – “don’t you have anything left? I know you have already blessed that fellow, you have poured out the blessings on him.

    Is there no remnant?”

    And the father said, “well, we will scratch the bottom of the barrel to see if there is anything left for you.”

    … So he gave him just a little leftover.

    But by the time you get to Genesis 32:1-6, the Bible tells us when Jacob sent emissaries to Esau to say: “I am coming home, I got present for you to asked you to please forgive me for what happened”; the servants returned and said, Sir, we met your brother, we delivered your message and he is coming with four hundred (400) bodyguards.

    … He got a REMNANT of blessing, but he became so great, he has four hundred (400) bodyguards.

    I still remembered the first time a President came to the Congress. The security people told him, Sir, you can’t go; … it’s an open space, it’s at night, it’s absolutely Security Night Guards – you can’t go. He said, I have promised, I am going, “you do whatever you need to do to make sure I am secured.” So, he came with two hundred and fifty (250) bodyguards – That is a President!

    A President came with two hundred and fifty (250) bodyguards. But Esau had four hundred (400) bodyguards.

    … So you can see how POWERFUL a Remnant Blessing can be!

    What about the brother who got the “REAL DOSAGE” – Who got the full one, that is Jacob?

    By the time you read Genesis 32:24-28; you will discover that; not only was he prospered mightily. The Almighty God changed the name of Jacob to Israel; and a man became a NATION.

    The one who got the remnant prospered, he had four hundred  (400) bodyguards. The one who got the real thing became a Nation.

    I decree today that among those of us who are seated will be somebody who will become a Nation – Amen!

    … I am talking of blessing being in degrees.

    2. You will find another in the illustration when a blessing of the first born was deliberately given to the second born.

    In Genesis 48:17-20; Joseph brought his two sons – Ephraim and Menasseh. (Menasseh is the first born while Ephraim is the second born) to his father. He said, here are my children, will you please bless them before you die? And his father crossed his hands (because Joseph placed the first born where the right hand will be, and he placed the second born where the left hand will be).

    WHY? “The blessings of the right hand is more than that of the left hand’. May be we will discover that when we get to Heaven but that is the way God arranged it.

    And I have always told my children; anytime a Man of God wants to bless two of you, make sure you are kneeling where his right hand will lie. We can do the theory later. (Just get it, it’s a Special Message).

    But the old man crossed his hands, transferred the blessings of the firstborn to the second born. Even though Joseph tried to say, eh! daddy, don’t do it that way: this is the firstborn. He said, I know what I’m doing. This is something special, this is a direction from the Holy Spirit.

    May I decree today that the blessings that belongs to the firstborn be given to you this morning – Amen!

    Because what was the result? Within a short period of time, by the time you read Deuteronomy 33:17; “His Glory [is like] the firstling of his bullock, and his horns [are like] the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they [are] the thousands of Manasseh.”

    The Bible recalled for you that Ephraim (The younger boy) has been blessed ten (10)times more than his brother. They were now talking of thousand of Manasseh but ten (10) thousands of Ephraim.

    … You don’t joke with a blessing, it is an extremely Powerful Force!

    You will discover there are two people in the same market selling the same thing; starting off the same time and within a short period of time, one is way three times (3x) ahead of the other.

    I am praying for you today; very, very soon, your peers will be seeing you far, far; far ahead – Amen!

    Now, WHAT DO YOU DO to get the Father’s Blessings?

    1. According to Genesis 27:1-4; Isaac called his son, Esau, he said am about to die, give me that kind of food I love, so that from the bottom of my heart I can bless you.

    Nothing goes for nothing. You have to pay something that’s precious as a Blessing – It’s very important.

    I have told you before this story, that I was at Heathrow Airport several years ago. And in those days I was travelling Economy Class – they weigh your bags. There is a limit to what Economy Class carries.

    So what we did to beat them is that the heavy thing we put it in the carry-on. They wouldn’t weigh those ones. And I had two (2) carry-on, very heavy. Each one is heavier than the luggage itself. I was coming with one (1) on one hand and

     the other hand carrying the other.

    I saw two of my boys at the Heathrow Airport; and the first one came to me and said, “Daddy good morning”, and I said good morning. The second boy looked at me and took the loads off me before he even said good morning. And I said “God bless you”. The first one turned and said, daddy you didn’t say God bless me. I said for what? You greeted me and I greeted you, this one didn’t greet me but he helped me to carry my burden so I said “God bless you.”

    May I say, GOD BLESS someone here today (or reading) – AMEN!!! (God Bless DMC and the entirely Crew too in Jesus Name – Amen).

    2. When you want God’s blessing, you must do something for Him that will Please Him.

    For example, in 2 Chronicles 1:6-12; the Bible said, Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings to God and God decided to pay him a visit.

    He said, son, you have done something nobody has ever done before, let Me do for you what I have never done for anyone before.

    I give you a blank cheque, anything you want, Ask! And the boy answered and said, what I want is WISDOM and why do I need the wisdom so I can SERVE You correctly. So I can take good care of Your people; that is why I want the Wisdom.

    And God said, is that so, the boy said yes and He said all right, what you need to serve me I give unto you, the things you didn’t ask for, I will add.

    We need to know the Principles that are behind Special Blessings.

    When you see some people and you find out that they seems to be doing far, far better than the rest of their colleagues, find out THEIR SECRETS!

    Thank God for Grace; He made sure I studied Mathematics before He saved my soul. If there is anything Mathematics teaches you is that: “Certain formula will only work if you meet the conditions.” (Am not here to teach Mathematics). But we all know that in a right Angle Triangle, the sum of square of two sides will be equal to the sides of Hypotenuse – that will follow whether on earth or on the moon.

    You meet God’s conditions, He will do for you what He has not been doing for others.

    Very, very important! This could be the Greatest thing you ever heard in your life.

    Because if you begin to meet His conditions, by this time Next Year, your colleagues who are not listening to me now or who are hearing me (or reading) but are going to do; will begin to say: “What is your secret”?

    I don’t want to begin to tell you Stories today. But when He saved my soul, the first house I ever built with JOY, I gave it to Him (that was just very little house – a mould house). It was my first house, I gave it God and it became a Mission House. And then, He built another one for me in my little village, Ifewara (Osun State, Nigeria).

    When the need arose, I gave it to Him. My first Car (it was second hand Value – fairly used) but it was my first car; when the need arose, I gave it to Him. The little house He built for me in Lagos, when the need arose, I gave it to Him. I’m just telling you just a little but He responded in some marvelous ways.

    For example now, anywhere I go in the world where there is the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, if I say to anybody there that I want to come and sleep in your house, did you think he would put me in the Boys Quarters? He will vacate the Master Bedroom. If I say I want to come to your house today and I want to spend the weekend, will you be sad?  NO!

    So, I used to boast to my other colleagues that: “I have houses all over the world.” Many of them they don’t understand. They thought am saying “I have bought houses everywhere.” But “YOUR SON’S house is your house.”

    I use to tell them that I have more cars than I can ride. They think that what that means is that I have bought so many cars. That is not true. Is any one here that I can say “Sir, I need your car for one week”. I know the fellow will be so happy and say I will even buy the petrol. Am I speaking the truth? YES!

    Good respond! Apart from having houses where I can sleep all over the world, look at Redemption Camp. At that place called Redemption Camp, I’m the Local Government Chairman.

    I was telling my Pastors not too long ago that if I die, don’t take me to Ifewara (my hometown), bury me in my own city. Am I not blessed? YOU ARE!

    I decree one more time, everyone of you here today, “GOD BLESS YOU”- Amen!

    Then what is the Greatest desire of God’s heart? What does He want more than anything else?

    It’s that we WIN SOULS. That is the best way you can please Him.

    in John 15:16; the Bible says that: “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

    By this time Next Year, even if you are holding three (3) Services here, the place will be too small – Amen!

    Let me close; it is possible to lose a Blessing.

    You will never loose your own – Amen!

    But I have told you the story of two boys – Ephraim and Menasseh. Ephraim got the blessing that should belong to his brother. He became ten (10) times more successful than his brother. But when success came, he forgot God.

    When God says Israel, I want you to go to war for me, Ephraim will say I can’t go because somebody must look after my prosperity. When God says, don’t worship Idol’s, he will say mind your business, I can do what I like and God kept on sending Prophets upon Prophets to Ephraim. Ephraim why are you doing all these to me? I love you, you know what I did for you?

    After sometimes, in the book of Hosea 4:17, God said, Ephraim has joined himself to idols, leave him alone. Don’t worry him anymore, let him do what he likes.

    But then, God now said, in the same book of Hosea 5:9, He said, Ephraim shall be desolate.

    The fellow that has prospered, He said there shall be nothing left for him.

    You know the word desolate, it is a terrible word.

    I believe that as a result of the Blessings that has been pronounced on you this morning, you will begin to SUCCEED in a way you have never imagined.

    When Success comes, please don’t forget God because He has the Power to give and He has the Power to take away.

    … Your Blessings will be Permanent in Jesus’ Name – Amen!

    God has no Blessing for a SINNER.

    You know why? Not because He knows that if He blesses you, you will spend it for Satan. If He blesses a sinner, a sinner is likely to go and marry second or third wives. If He blesses a sinner, a sinner would probably spend the money drinking alcohol and get drunk. So He reserves His blessing for those

    that are His own.

    ALTAR CALL:

    That is why if you are here this morning and you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ and you have been saying Amen to ‘God Bless You’. You have been wasting your time! Unless you surrendered your life to Him, He is not going to give you His Blessing.

    So if you want to give Your life to Him, am going to count from One (1) to Seven (7), before I say seven (7); come and stand before me and I will pray, God will save your SOUL, His BLOOD will wash away your sins and then you are qualified for the Blessings of God.

    … Now am counting!

    Now the choice is yours, nobody needs to compel you. You want to be blessed? Come and be saved. If you don’t want to be blessed, sit down with your sins. The choice is yours.

    Now those outside in the overflow you have to move a little bit faster to get here before I count seven (7). (Please don’t block their way) Let them come quickly.

    ..  Thank You Jesus! Those of you who are clapping, your hands will never be empty.

    Ok! Those of you on the way, keep coming and those of you already in the front, talk to Almighty God ask Him to please have Mercy on you, save your Soul, and wash away your sins. Promise Him that from now on, you will serve Him: go ahead, talk to Him, the Almighty God, ask Him to be your Saviour and your Lord.

    And the rest of us, let’s stretch out our hands towards these people and intercede for them. Pray that the One who saved your Soul  will save their own Souls also. Pray that the Blood of Jesus will wash them clean this morning so that they will become partakers of the BLESSINGS of God. Pray for them!

    And if there is anyone who still wants to come, you are not too late yet, so make sure you get here before I finish praying.

    Thank You Father, in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

    PRAYER OF SALVATION:

    My Father and my God, I just want to say Thank You, thank You for Your WORDS. Thank You for these people who have responded by coming to the Altar. You promised Lord, “that whosoever will come unto You, You will in no wise cast out”. They have come to You now Lord, please receive them in Jesus’ Name.

    Save their Souls today, let your Blood wash away their Sins, receive them into the Family of God and begin to grant their request from this moment onward, as they make up their minds to serve You. Anytime they call on You, please answer them by Fire. And I pray that they will never backslide. Uphold them till the end.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

    Now, I rejoice with those of you who have come forward. I want to promise you that from now on I will be praying for you. So, I am going to need your names, addresses and prayer requests. The councillors would collect them for me and I promise you, I will be praying for you.

    Before you go with the councillors, I want you to be part of the prayer we are about to pray now.

    The rest of us, are we ready to pray? Do you believe God will answer you today?

    YES! Let me hear you shout Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH!

    I want you to lift your voice to Heaven (may be there is something I didn’t mentioned); Blessing is an “INDIVIDUAL MATTER”.

    When God wants to bless a person, He blesses him alone. Forget the people on your right and the people on your left, it is between you and God.

    Now, lift your voices to God and say: Father; please BLESS ME and I will serve You. Go ahead talk to Almighty God: BLESS ME ALMIGHTY GOD, I won’t fail You Lord. I will serve You, I will do everything that will make You happy, I will not disappoint You. Please Lord Bless me, bless me Mightily today.

    Thank You Father, in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

    Alpha and Omega, the “Good Works” that you have started in our lives, Father complete it this Year. Every Project in our lives – Physical, Material or Spiritual; Father complete this Year.

    As for our children in their various locations; Lord God Almighty touch them this morning. Let these children be greater than their parents. Give them wisdom, give them understanding. Keep sickness away from them, keep death away from them. Let them Excel.

    And Lord God Almighty, whatever may be the request of anyone here today; even before today is out Father turn it to Testimony.

    We are delighted to be here today and we are here with great Joy in our hearts (Clapping).

    Left with me alone this morning, I will take the time of the General Overseer but I will cut it to half because I will not want to deprive you of this unique opportunity.

    So number 1 of what I want to say is to say “Well Done”.

    I will salute our Regional Pastor and his wife – Pastor Idowu Iluyomade; for his Good Leadership as the “Baba Kekere” (Small daddy) of the Apapa Family. And also to all the Associate Pastors. The Lord Himself will keep you going and you will finish well.

    As for our beautiful edifice across the road, the God that has started the job will finish it.

    And to all those who are there from the beginning and you are still here now; you will worship there also – Amen. And all  your prayers will be answered.

    The last thing that I will want to say before I sing a song that you will dance with me is that: Please don’t forget whatever you may be doing: “Jesus Christ is coming back Again!”

    … Jesus Christ is coming back what? AGAIN!

    The Lord will keep you and on that Glorious Day, you will not miss it in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    I want to thank God that our Joy did not mix with sorrow today. I have been dancing since yesterday (Saturday, 2nd of February; 2019) and I want you to dance with me as I cannot just hold it like that again.

    I want to thank God again and again and again for the Victory He gave us yesterday (2nd of February, 2019). That was a great Victory.

    What shall I be saying this morning if God has not intervened?

    I thank God for His intervention. I thank God that He still speaks to people. Thank God that when He speaks, it is done.

    … This Year (2019); no matter how hard the devil may try; there will be no mourning in your houses.

    When I came in 2015; I made a Pledge and just as I thought; somebody came from behind and pay. Now since I am on a higher level now; I will make a higher Pledge and get more people in trouble.

    So by the Grace of God to make sure that we finished strong – you can expect a Substantial Amount (In Millions) from me. But this time around; I won’t allow one fellow to help me out – I will spread the blessings out. So we will allow two (2) to three (3) people to bail me out and then do their own.

    … Glory be to God! I will love to come back very quickly in order to dedicate the building.

    I was talking to your Pastor when he said that the last time you are here was in 2015. I said that I didn’t know that it is that long ooo. Before, I used to come every year you know but in those days; each time that I come, I went back home in a new car.

    … So do you want me to still be coming every year?

    Yes! Are you sure?

    Alright o, Glory be to God – Hallelujah!

    BIBLE TEXT: ISAIAH 60: 1-3

    1. Arise, Shine, for thy light is come and the Glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

    2. For, behold the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people but the LORD shall arise upon thee and His Glory shall be seen upon thee.

    3. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light and Kings to the brightness of thy rising.

    I have come to pray for you. I have come to make some Proclamations. I believed that God sent me to this particular Parish, this particular Region, this particular Family; to say to every forces of darkness that you are no longer permitted here.

    I have to declare in the Name that is above every other names in this Parish and in all the Parishes associated with you that no more sorrow, no more death and no more tragedy.

    Beginning from this moment, anytime I hear concerning you; it will be “Good News”.

    … But if am you; my Amen will be loud – Amen!

    You see, there are two (2) forces that has been controlling the world from the very beginning.

    They are: Darkness and Light.

    Genesis 1: 1-3 tells us that as soon as God made the Light; darkness took over. But then, the Spirit of God moved and God spoke and said: “Let there be Light”. And there was Light.

    And in the Name that is above every other names, concerning all of you; today and from this moment henceforth: “Let there be Light” – Amen!

    From the beginning of Creation, there has been conflicts between darkness and Light

    The Bible says in Ephesians 6:12; that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against all the organized Army of darkness – Principalities, Powers, Rulers of Darkness of this world, against all Spiritual wickedness in High Places.

    From the beginning of the world till now, the wrestling has been on. But the Good News as I told you in January (those of you who came to the Holy Ghost Service) is that we will win. It is impossible for Light to lose the fight against darkness.

    The Bible tells us in John 1: 4-5; that the Light Shineth in darkness and darkness cannot comprehend/overcome it.

    From this moment onwards; you will never lose a battle to darkness again – Amen!

    It is impossible for sickness to win because in 1 Peter 2:24; the Bible says because of Jesus Christ, because of His Sacrifice; by His Stripes we were healed.

    You have been healed even before you became sick. And so today, if you can just join your Faith with mine; we can collectively say that sickness you are not allowed in this Parish.

    It does not matter how incurable the doctors may say that you are. In Matthew 8: 1-3; a leper came to Jesus Christ and said that I know you are able to make me clean as I don’t need to be told – I know it.

    And there is not a single Christian that you can find on Earth who will not tell you that I know Jesus Christ is the “Great Physician”.

    The only problem that we have always had like that leper is that we are not too sure that the healing that He purchased with His life will become our own portion.

    But I decree today that before you go out of here; by the Name of the One who sent me to you, you will receive your healings – Amen.

    It doesn’t matter how long that you have been sick. In Luke 13: 11-17; the Bible tells us that there was a woman who has been sick for eighteen (18) years. And if you read that story very well, you will discovered that Jesus Christ said that this is a battle between the forces of darkness and the forces of Light.

    He said that this woman has been bound by Satan all these years but I have come to lose her.

    I decree in that Name that is above every other names; it does not matter how long that you have been sick, be healed today in Jesus Name – Amen!

    Even death cannot win because Jesus Christ who came into this world  coincidentally destroyed the works of the devil. He said in John 11:25 that I am the Resurrection and the Life. Anyone who believes in me He said will not die.

    There are some of us who will say: what of brother so and so and sister so and so who died.

    Whatever may happen, let me decree right now; that is not happening here anymore. Nobody will die young here anymore – Amen. An end has come to that now in Jesus Name – Amen.

    He said Arise and Shine because your Light is Come.

    … Your Light is Come in City of David (and by extension all those reading).

    Your Light is Come such that from now onwards; no more sorrow. Because according to Psalms 16:11; the Bible made it clear that in His Presence, there is the Fullness of Joy.

    Your Joy cannot be full if someone is weeping because the Bible says that we are to weep with those who weeps.

    … And so in the Name that is above every other names; nobody will be weeping again in this Parish – Amen.

    When He says that your Light is Come, it means “No More Loses” because He said in John 10:10; He said that the thief (Satan) – the king of darkness; cometh not but to steal, to kill and to destroy. But He said but I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

    I decree today on the authority of the One who called me; No more loses for you – Amen. And every thing that the devil has stolen from you shall be fully restored back to you – Amen

    Your Light is Come means that there is “No More Fruitless Efforts” for you.

    All you need to do is to read the Scriptures. In Luke 5: 1-7; the Bible says that Peter fished all night. Night means Darkness. He fished all night and caught nothing.

    But then when the day broke; when his Light came – just a single effort and all the wasted efforts were fully rewarded beyond his wildest expectations.

    Am praying for someone here today that by the time I return to dedicate this building; you will say sir, what is the next Project – Amen.

    … And this time, you won’t even need to take an offering – just leave me to do it. What is your next Project?

    If you believed that you will be the one, let me hear you shout Amen – Amen!

    And when He says your Light is Come; it means that “No More Hell”.

    Because in John 14:6; He said: I am the way, the Truth and the Life. No man cometh to the Father except by me.

    So when your Light has Come; it means that you suddenly see the way to the Father.

    And the way to the Father means that you are not going to Hell because when Light comes, it drives away darkness and darkness leads people to Hell.

    And this morning, I told your Pastor that he just decided to manipulate a little. I don’t blame him as he doesn’t know when next I will be here.

    I told him sir, I will preach a sermon first at Ebutte Metta, Lagos Nigeria (which is for the whole Church) but I will come but I won’t be long. He said you won’t be long.

    … If I will be long now, I wonder how long I will stay!

    Your Light will Come provided you will open the door and let that Light come in.

    Because in Revelations 3:20; He said behold I stand by the door and I knock. If any man will hear my voice and open the door; I will come in.

    It is one thing for your Light to come; it is another thing for you to allow it to come in.

    Because there are still some of us who are still playing Church. We are still playing games. We want Jesus Christ to come in and just bless us but we don’t want Him to come in and take over.

    Jesus Christ has told you again and again; if you ask Him to come in; He won’t come in as a tenant. When He comes in, He want to come in as a Landlord. He will not come in as a friend but as Lord. You need to understand that.

    And it is very crucial at this moment because destiny of the whole Nation of Nigeria is hanging in the balance. The destiny of many families is hanging in the balance. The destiny of many individuals hanging in the balance – I mean you know it.

    You talk to Foreign Investors now. Will you come and invest in my business in Nigeria? They will say wait!

    Why are they waiting? Destiny hanging in the balance.

    But if you will one hundred percent (100%) allow Him into your life; I told you that God is speaking by codes this Year.

    And He said for Redeemed Christian Church of God; Psalms 91.

    Some people came to me and say daddy give us a little hint about what God is saying.

    I said Psalms 91 is plain. They said it is not so plain. I said it is plain because it says that a thousand may fall by your left; ten thousands may fall by your right but it won’t come near you.

    But He began by saying: He that dwelleth in the Secret Place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

    It means that it doesn’t matter what may happened, as long as you are committed to Him; it is only with your eyes that you will behold and see the rewards of the wicked.

    You can go back home now and read it again and you will see more and more coming.

    He said for example for the International Scene; speak to them by codes.

    And you know the passage He gave to us – Joel 2: 28-32.

    28. And it shall come to pass afterwards, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall Prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

    29. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

    30. And I will shew wonders in the Heavens and in the Earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke.

    31. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.

    32. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

    He said that it shall come to past in the last days; I will pour my Spirit upon all flesh etc. I will show signs in Heaven and on Earth – Read it!

    He said the Moon shall turn to blood.

    What happened on January 22nd? Check the weather and all the things happening.

    If I tell you in plain languages; if everything is not coded, many of you will refuse to fly.

    When He speaks, it is done.

    Now, He has spoken concerning Redeemed Christian Church of God. You have nothing to worry about provided your commitment is absolute.

    So in conclusion, if you are here and your Light is knocking at your door and you want to open the door to Him and you want Him to save your soul, you want Him to take over every aspect of your life; I will count from one (1) to four (4). I won’t ask you to come forward because there is no space here. All I will ask you to do is just to stand up wherever you are before I say four (4).

    And then I will pray for you and then you can go back home rejoining because from now on darkness won’t come near you again.

    Now if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, before I count four (4); stand on your feet. Am counting now.

    The choice is yours – you make up your mind.

    If you are watching  online or reading and you want to give your life to Jesus now; stand on your feet now and He will recognise that you are standing up for Him.

    … Ok, Glory be to God!

    Those of you standing bow your head and cry to the Almighty God saying: Please come into my life. Light of the world, please come in. Come and take over my life. Be my Lord, be my Saviour; Come and be in-charge completely. Save my soul and I will serve you.

    And the rest of us, let us pray for these people. Let us intercede for them that the One who save our souls will save their own souls too also – Pray for them.

    Pray for those who are watching online or reading who are also standing up for Jesus Christ now. Pray for our children who are standing up in their various locations now; that the Almighty God will save their souls and His Light will shine into their lives.

    Thank you Father; in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION

    Light of the world I want to bless your Holy Name. Thank you for your Words. Please accept our thanks in Jesus Name.

    Am committing all these people who are standing up into your hands; please even before they sit down, save their souls, let your Blood wash them clean and receive them into the family of God. And am praying that from now on, anytime they call on you; you will answer them by Fire.

    Thank you Almighty God.

    Very soon, I will ask all your children to cry out to you today; please answer their prayers too by Fire for them.

    And the Grace for us also to begin to Shine for you release to us too in Jesus Name.

    Let no darkness ever dare come near us in Jesus Name. Thank you Almighty God, in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

    Now those of you standing, am sure they have given you a card. Please fill the card, return it to the Counsellors. I promise you I will be praying for you. I want to know your names, address and Prayer Request. I can assure you that I will be praying for you and God will answer my prayers for you – Amen.

    So you will lift up your voice to Him and say: Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; from now on, darkness will stay away from me – Open your mouth and say it.

    Darkness will stay away from my family, it will stay away from my home.

    When I think of the Goodness of Jesus

    And all He has done for me

    My very soul shall shout Hallelujah

    Praise God for saving me.

    Praise the Name of the Lord!

    Your Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State; Pastor (Mr) Akinwunmi Ambode.

    Your Excellency, the wife of the Governor of Lagos State; Pastor (Mrs) Bolanle Ambode.

    Spiritual my Lord Tempera’s; am here in the stead of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God; Pastor E.A Adeboye who for the very first time in twenty (20) years is unavoidably absent.

    And I have to sing that song to calm you down because I know that God will still perform wonders here today in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen.

    When a King is going somewhere, he goes himself. But sometimes when he cannot go, he

    sends his “Staff of Office” and all the privileges that they will accord the King is accorded to whoever brought the “Staff of Office”.

    And also when Elijah was going to Heaven, his servant was with him and be dropped his Mantle – the same Mantle that Elijah used to perform Miracles, Signs and Wonders. And the servant of Elijah (Elisha) picked up the Mantle and stood before River Jordan and smote the River and said where is the “God of Elijah?”

    And lo and behold, River Jordan parted.

    Am here with the Mantle of God, the Spirit of God and I know that, that which God has in stock for everyone of us today, God will do it yet again in Jesus Mighty Name.

    And for those of us who are still a bit unsettled; well let me just say: “Let somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!”

    Praise the Name of the Lord.

    People of God, today we are thanking God and Thanksgiving is so Powerful.

    You know God loves the Praises of His People. He inhabits in the Praises of His people.

    There was a King, King Hezekiah. He was sick unto death and Isaiah the Prophet came to him and said: “This sickness is unto death.”

    He was not ready to go. He turned his face to the wall and pleaded with God. He told God: Remember all the things I have done for you. Nothing happened as he was still sick. That sentence of death was still upon his head. Then in Isaiah 38: 18-19; he struck an accord with God that changed all things.

    He said: 18. For the grave cannot Praise thee; death cannot celebrate thee: They that go down to the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

    19. The living, the living, he shall praise thee as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

    Now as regards praising God, God sent Isaiah back and said: No I will give you fifteen (15) more years.

    We have come to Praise God. We have come to thank God. And even if you don’t have anything to thank God for; I want you for one (1) minute put your hands on your heart and you will feel it beating. That little thing that is not bigger than your palms beats 4,800 times per hour; 115,200 times per day; every year it beats 420,480,000 times and if you are 80 years old, your heart has beaten 33.6 Billion (33,638,400,000) times.

    It is only the Living that can Praise the Lord.

    So if you don’t have anything to Praise God for, I want you to Praise God for the fact that you are alive.

    … Better is a living dog than a dead lion.

    So today, I want us to enter this sermon with this song that says:

    (Only the Living can Praise thee)

    (As am doing today Oh Lord).

    OPENING PRAYERS:

    Eternal Rock of Ages, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Ancient of Days, the I am that I am.

    If we have a thousand tongues we cannot thank you enough for your Goodness and Mercy in our lives.

    Father, it is only the Living that can Praise you. We thank you for preserving us. We thank you for overlooking our faults and keeping us alive till now. It is only by your Mercies that we are not consumed. King of Glory we give you all the Glory for all of these in Jesus Mighty Name.

    Father, in the next few minutes, speak to us, encourage us, bless us, if need be admonish us.

    At the end of it all, let us know that we have had an encounter with you and let all the Glory, all the Adoration, all the Honour be yours and let all of us have our own “Personal Testimonies”.

    … In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

    And somebody says a better Amen – Amen!

    Praise the Name of the Lord – Hallelujah!

    Now it is significant that for the past twenty (20) years or so that we have been having this Thanksgiving Service to Praise God; to thank Him for His Goodness and Mercy over our state – Lagos State.

    And for the past twenty (20) years in the annals of history; it has always been on “Epiphany Sundays” that is the Sundays the Wise King went to baby Jesus Christ and took gifts even unto Him.     No wonder after this Service every year for the past twenty (20) years, God bestowed on this State manifold Blessings and manifold Gifts.

    My Prayers is that by the time we finished today, all that is required to go through this State Gloriously this Year, God will grant unto us in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen.

    Say a better amen – Amen. Praise the Name of the Lord.

    God has helped us in this State. There was a story of two (2) beggars that were seated at the gate of a King. And the first beggar every morning when he sees the King always says: “Blessed is he whom the King helps”. The second beggar when he sees the King says: “Blessed is he who the Lord helps”.

    So the King preferred the first beggar that is always saying: “Blessed is he who the King helps”. And he was giving one gift to the other beggar and he was giving the one he likes two (2) gifts. And that one went on day-in day-out; year-in year-out.

    Then one day, the King wanted to bless the one that he loves (the beggar that always sing his Praises). So he baked a cake and told them to put a “Gold Nugget” inside the cake. So that morning when the beggar saw him, he said: Bless is he who the King loves and blessed. So the King gave him the cake.

    The next morning, the King came and saw that there was only one beggar and it was the same beggar that always Praises him. So he asked after the other beggar that where is the second beggar? Then this beggar told the King that well I needed money so I sold the cake to the other beggar. And lo and behold, when he opened it, he found a “Gold Nugget” and today he is no longer begging.

    The King nodded his head and said truly Blessed is he who the Lord helps.

    The Lord has helped us in this State year-in year-out and I want us to clap our hands for Jesus Christ for helping us and that help will never end in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen.

    People of God, our dignitaries know that there is a “Due Order and Protocol” before you approach them.

    The theme of the Thanksgiving is as found in Psalms 100:4 and it says: “Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving and into His courts with Praise: be thankful unto Him and bless His Name.

    Our God is a “God of Protocol” and our dignitaries like I said knows that there is Due Order and Due Protocol before you approach them.

    If you go to Aso Rock in Abuja and you get to the gate and said I want to see my President – he is my President. It is not likely that you will see him because there is a procedure. There is a prescribed order that you must comply with before you can access Aso Rock.

    It is the same thing with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. It says that there is a Protocol that you must comply with before you can access my Presence.

    David learnt this the hard way in 1 Chronicles 15:13. They were carrying the “Ark of Covenant” back to Jerusalem and there was a lot of shouting and singing and dancing. Then one of those carrying the “Ark of Covenant” touched the Ark and death came. And David was afraid. He said what happened? I was Praising God, I was dancing before God and get instead of life, death came.

    Then he went to go and make enquire about it and they told him that you cannot just allow anybody to have access to the “Ark of Covenant”.

    … It is written that it is “ONLY LEVITE” that can carry the “Ark of Covenant”. And they have to carry it on a stage and not on a cart drawn by animals that you did.

    And they told him that there is a Due Order and Process, there is a Protocol that you must comply with before you can access even the God that you serve.

    And this God; the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords has set down a Protocol. He is the God of Heaven, He is the God of the Earth. The Bible says that the Heavens is His seat and the Earth His footstool. It says that if you want to enter His Gates, you cannot just come in anyhow; you must come in with Thanksgiving. And you cannot just enter His courts anyhow; you must enter His courts with Praises.

    People of God, there is a gate and you know that a gate grants access in and out.

    This Year 2019 has a gate and there is a way to access that gate.

    Most times, most people do not know what is behind the gates. For some rich people, behind the gates can be dogs. Jericho completely shut out the Israelites behind the gate.

    Even in the Bible in Matthew 16:18; the Bible talks of the gates of hell.

    This is a very serious Year, full of uncertainties, hopes and aspirations.

    But there is somebody who has the “Keys of David” – who can open any gate and no man can shut it; who can shut a gate that no man can open.

    People of God, we cannot boast of tomorrow – we only have today. But we have a God that has gone ahead of us in Year 2019.

    He has opened that gate. His Name is the “Breaker” – the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

    In Micah 2:13; it says that the breaker, the Messiah will go up before them. Then you will breakthrough in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen! It says that they pass through the gates and go out through it and their King will pass on before them. The Lord as the head.

    The Lord has already gone through the gates of 2019 and He has gone ahead to make every crooked ways straight.

    We don’t know what is lying behind the gates; He has remove mountains if there are mountains there and every valley has been filled – Amen.

    People of God, Jesus is saying that to access that gate; just come Praising me, just come thanking me for all the things that I have done. That is the Protocol. And by the time the gate is opened; you will see Goodness and Mercy. That will be your portion in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    People of God, there may be one (1) or two (2) of us here today that are looking at an uncertain future. You don’t know what January holds, you don’t know what tomorrow holds. When even in that situation, the Lord is saying you should give thanks to God. That is the Will of God concerning you and I.

    People of God, Habakkuk 3: 17-19 says thus:

    17. Although the fig tree shall blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines, the labour of the olive fail and the fields yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold and there shall be no herd in the stalls.

    18. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my Salvation.

    19. The LORD God is my strength and He will make my feet like hind’s feet and He will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the Chief singer on my stringed instruments.

    So even if you are here and you are saying well there is nothing to thank God for or there are a lot of uncertainties in my life; the Plan and Purpose of God for you to access that gate is to give Him Thanks, to give Him Glory, to give Him Adorations.

    And my prayers is that today as we enter into the gates of 2019 Praising God; it will be a Year above all Years for us in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    There will be more Progress, there will be more Prosperity even in our State in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    And God will perform Signs and Wonders in our lives in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    People of God even as I come to a close, why must we thank God?

    1. Thanksgiving is very very Powerful. Apart from the fact that it is prescribed access to the gates of God, also it completes your Prayers.

    In Philippians 4: 6-7; the Bible says:

    6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving; let your requests be made known unto God.

    7. And the peace of God, which passesth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minda through Christ Jesus.

    2. People of God, Thanksgiving also moves God into action.

    The Bible says that we have a God that who inhabits the Praises of Israel.

    We cannot forget what happened in Acts 16: 25-26. Paul and Silas even in their situation they started Praising God and giving Thanks to God. And God shook the foundations of the prison and broke even their situations.

    My Prayers is that as we thank God even for this Nation today; God will intervened even Miraculously in our situation in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen. Praise the Name of the Lord – Hallelujah!

    So it doesn’t matter what is behind the gate; our God has already gone ahead and Psalms 24: 7-10; God says: Lift up your head all he gates, lift up your head ye everlasting doors. So that the King of Glory can come in.

    And my Prayers is that the King of Glory will hold our hands and as the gates opened; Goodness and Mercy will be our portion in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    People of God as I close; God is telling us that as we open that gate with Thanksgiving, as we open that gate Thanking Him and Praising Him for all the things that He is going to do; He will do Greater and Mightier things in our lives in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    So God is telling somebody here today (or reading); don’t be afraid – Just Praise me. Just thank me as the gate is thrown open, you will see that Greater Things will happen in your life in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    People of God, the Lord has been Good to us like I said earlier to this State and the Lord has sent a Word for us in the State.

    And the Word is in Isaiah 43: 16-19

    16. Thus saith the LORD which maketh a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters.

    17. Which bringeth forth the Chariot and Horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

    18. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

    19. Behold, I will do a New Thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

    God was boasting about the things He has done. And if you look at the unprecedented Progress of this State: the Infrastructural development, light etc of this State; you will observed that in every area of our State there is development.

    This is unprecedented in the annals of the history of our State.

    Let us just clap for Jesus for what He has done.

    But God says in Verse 18 of Isaiah 43; He says but forget all that. He said it is nothing compared to what am going to do. For am about to do something New.

    See, I have already began. Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness, I will create rivers in dry wastelands (NLT version).

    So God is telling us that we have not seen anything yet.

    The text above says that God will do greater things. So forget what you have seen already.

    So I Prophesy into your lives that in the Year 2019; starting from now, it will be your best Year in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    God is going to perform Miracles, Signs and Wonders. He is going to Heal, He is going to Deliver, He is going to take our State higher from January to the end of the Year will be Glorious in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    The Bible says, enter His gates with Thanksgiving and enter His courts with Praise.

    The boldness we have is to enter the gates of God with Thanksgiving is because we know that He has already gone ahead till the end of the Year. And He looked back and say: “Say ye to the righteous, it shall be well with thee”.

    So the Lord has brought that Word to someone today that your tomorrow shall be alright: That you should not fear, that you have not seen anything yet, that that New Thing that I will start, that I have already began it. You will see it and you will manifest it in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    People of God, if we have a thousand tongues you cannot thank Him enough for what He has done in our lives, what He is going to do in our lives, what He will do in our lives and what He will continue to do in this State.

    This State will be Problem-Free in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen.

    Our Governor will finish well and finish strong in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    And this State will go from Glory to Glory in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    If you believed that shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

    God is going to start something New in this Nation and State.

    But you know that a new wine cannot be poured into an old wine skin.

    There is no way you can experienced that thing unless you purge yourself of sins.

    The Bible says that the Hands of the Lord is not shortened that He cannot save or deliver you. He said that it is as a result of our sins that separated Him from us.

    So all eyes closed. If you are here and you want to experience the Newness of God, you want to experience New Things God will do, you want to be confident that once that gate is opened as it is opening today; that only Goodness and Mercy that will be found there. That every mountains will be levelled and that every valley will be filled.

    God says: Come, Come: Praise me, thank me and as you do that; every bad things in your life will be a thing of the past.

    It does not matter what you are facing now; Jesus Christ stood by the tomb of Lazarus – Lazarus was dead and buried and sinking for four (4) days. Instead of murmuring and being afraid; He looked up to Heaven and thank God.

    Once you thank God, once you Praise Him; God will reverse the irreversible.

    And God is telling somebody here today (or reading); that be confident. That as you Praise me and Magnify my Holy Name; I can guarantee you that your tomorrow shall be ok.

    But if you are here and you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ; then there is no way the Good Things God wants to do in our lives that you can be a Partaker. New wine cannot be poured into old wine skin.

    The Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. It says that if we say we have no sin, that we lied and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, He is Faithful, Just and Honest enough to forgive us our sins.

    People of God, that Scriptures says in Verse 10: “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with him”. Verse 11 says: “Say ye to the wicked, it shall be I’ll with you”.

    The only way you can start and end well this Year is if you put your hands in the Hands of Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the One that will take you through that gate. And He is waiting. That as you Praise Him and thank Him; the gates will be flung open – the gates of Opportunities, the gates of New Heights.

    You have not seen anything yet. Some of us think that we are the best. There is a difference between the Glory of the Star and the Glory of the Moon and the Glory of the Sun and the Shikenah Glory of God.

    God wants to move us up from one level of Glory to another level of Glory. But He says that I want to register your name in my Book.

    And the easiest way to do that and determine if you are in Christ Jesus is if you have two (2) birthdays – the first birthday is when your mother brought you to this world (we celebrate it every year). But Jesus Christ told Nicodemus; He says you must be born again. This time not through your mother but being born of the spirit of God – and that is the second birthday.

    If you have only one birthday, well I cannot guarantee that your tomorrow will be alright. But if you have two (2) birthdays – one through your mother and then born again by the Spirit of God; then I can guarantee you that your tomorrow will be alright and that all your Prayers will be answered by Fire in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    If there is anything you want God to do; He will do it in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    So as all eyes are closed, if you are here and you want to surrender your life to Jesus Christ – you want God to do New Things in your life, you want God to Open New Doors of Opportunities, you want Him to lift you high, you want to Him Promote you, you want Him to Heal you; you are the only one to please lift up your hands so that God can see you. Ushers please give them cards to fill.

    You wants your burdens to be lifted. He wants to write your names in the “Book of Life”. He wants you to have the confidence that as those gates are opened; they will give you access. We will pray with you and God will cause a change to come upon you and you will be sure that this Year will end Gloriously for you in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    And if you have received those cards; just make sure that you write your names and details there and hand it over back to the Ushers while we pray.

    Now if you have received those cards, just put your hands on your stomach or chest and repeat after me: Say Lord Jesus, I come to you now. I know that am a sinner please forgive me my sins. With my mouth I declare that Jesus Christ is my Personal Lord and Saviour. Change my hearts from a disobedient heart to a heart that obeys you. I plead the Blood of Jesus to wash me clean of every unrighteousness. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Write my name in the “Book of Life” and make me a brand new.

    … If you say that Prayer, see the Usher – they know what to do. And I want to congratulate you that from now you are now born again.

    The rest of us we want to pray just one Prayer.

    God has said He will do a New Thing. As those gates are opened with Thanksgiving and with Praise; what you find at the other side of the gates are Blessings, Goodness, Promotions, your Heart Desires and every Good Things God has in stock for you and He will do it for you in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!

    So say Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I come to you right now. I believe you are hearing me. You Promised me that you will do a New Thing in my life that I should forget the past. That what you will do in my life is nothing  compared to what to what I have seen before.

    Father, you said that you have began it, open my eyes to see that which you have started doing in my life. Let me be a Partaker.

    So shall it be. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

    Praise the Name of the Lord – Hallelujah!

    THE EPIPHANY SUNDAY

    The word “Epiphany” is also referred to as Theophany, Denha, Little Christmas or Three King’s Day.

    It comes from the Greek’s word for manifestation or appearance.

    OPENING PRAYERS:

    King of Kings and the Lord of Lords we worship you. Thank you for what you did in January; Thank you for what you did in February; Thank you for what you did in March; Thank you for bringing us to the Second Quarter of this Year (2019); please accept our thanks in Jesus Name.

    As we gather together tonight to dine with you; please be Present in our midst. As we partake of the symbol of your Body and symbol of your Blood, heal us in Jesus Name. Empower us in Jesus Name. Give us the Grace to begin to shine for you.

    … In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

    And let someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

    BIBLE TEXT: MATTHEW 25: 1-13.

    3. They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them.

    4. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

    6. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

    7. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.

    8. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

    9. But the wise answered saying, not so lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves.

    10. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage and the door was shut.

    11. Afterwards came also the other virgins saying Lord, Lord open to us.

    12. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

    And as long as there is oil in the lamp, it Shines. As long as there is oil in the lamp, it keeps burning and the light keeps Shinning. As long as there is oil in the tank, the engine of the car will keep running. As long as there is fuel in the generator, it will continue to produce electricity.

    But when the oil is out, the Shinning ceases because then the lamp will go out.

    I pray for you tonight that your lamp will not go out.

    And so to keep Shinning, you must learn from these virgins.

    Whenever the oil is running out of the lamps, we must refill. And if you want to Shine for long then you must constantly refill.

    Ephesians 5:18 says: Be not drunk with wines wherein in excess but ye be filled with the Holy Spirit.

    In other words, keep filling with the Holy Spirit. Keep on refilling your tank. And when you know that the journey is long then make sure that you have plenty of fuel or at least that there are Refueling Stations on the way.

    If you are travelling from Lagos to Ilorin; even if the tank of your car is full in Lagos; you need to be sure before you leave home that there is no fuel scarcity on the way.

    You need to keep on refilling. The race of life is not a Sprint. The race of life is a Marathon.

    In Hebrew 12:1; the Bible made it clear that we are to run with Patience the race that is set before us. The race of life is a Marathon.

    That is why we come every Month to refuel. That is why we come every Month to the Holy Communion Service so that we can refill.

    And tonight, we are here again to refill. We are here again to recharge our “Spiritual Battery” because the journey is long.

    My Prayer for all of you who will be partaking of the Holy Communion tonight (and those reading now) is that you will finish well and you will finish strong.

    And so if you are here and you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you do not qualify to partake of the Holy Communion until you have surrendered your life because He said in His Words: Some people take the Holy Communion unworthily as was read to us in the lesson and they become sickly and some of them die because they don’t discern the Lord’s body.

    The Holy Communion is for the Body of Christ. It is for those who has become part and parcel of Him.

    So, if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, before I count five (5); come and stand before me. Let His Blood wash away your sin. Let Him receive you into the family of God so that you can become part and parcel of His Body.

    So, if you want to give your life to Him, begin to come now as I count.

    When you give your life to Jesus, you become part of the Body of Jesus Christ and you are free to partake of His Body and of His Blood.

    Without that, without Salvation; you take the Holy Communion: you are taking it unworthily and it can cause you sickness or even death. But if you take it worthily, it can heal you and it can empower you.

    Those of you coming; please keep coming and those of you that are already infront begin to talk to the Lord: Ask Him to save your souls; Ask Him to have Mercy on you; Ask Him to wash away your sins; Ask Him to receive you into the Family of God. Promise Him that you will serve Him and from now on; He will become your Lord and Saviour.

    And the rest of us shall we stretch our hands towards these people and intercede for them. And pray that the One who saved our souls will save their own souls also. Pray that the Blood of Jesus that cleanses from all sins will wash them clean. Pray that beginning from now, each and everyone of them will become members of the Family of God and they will qualify to dine with the Almighty God – Pray for them!

    Thank you Father; in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION

    Saviour, we want to say Thank You: Thank you for your Words and Thank you for these people that have come forward to surrender their lives to you. You Promised in your Words that whosoever that will come to you you will no wise cast them out. They have come to you now, Lord please receive them in Jesus Name. Let your Blood wash away their sins; save their souls Oh Lord; write their names in the Book of Life. And from now on, anytime they call on you answer them by Fire.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

    Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

    Now those of you who have come forward; I rejoice with you because from now on, by the Grace of God I will be praying for you. So, I will need your names, address and Prayer Request.

    If you turn to your left, you will see a man with a Placard. Please follow him, he will take you to a place some Pastors are waiting and they will collect the information I needed and then bring you back very quickly.

    ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOLY COMMUNION

    The Bible says that by His Stripes you are healed. The Stripes that were laid on the Body of Jesus Christ broke the body.

    So when we take the Bread and we break it; we are by Faith partaking of the Stripes that broke His Body. And by His Stripes, you will be healed.

    So am believing God for you tonight (Including DMC Crew Members) that as you partake of the Bread; the Power that is in the Stripes will begin to work for you.

    As soon as they give you the Bread; at the appropriate time, go ahead and take it and pray that the Stripes of Jesus Christ will not be in vain for you.

    When they serve you the Wine; you should hold on to it until we have all being served. And when it is time to drink, I will tell you how to pray.

    The Lord Jesus the very Night in which He was betrayed; took the Bread and when He has given Thanks; He broke it and said: Take, Eat; this is my Body broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

    You will eat the Bread and pray: Lord don’t let your Stripes be vain in my life. Let it bring Healings to me.

    When you drink the Wine this evening; your Prayers will be: Lord refill my lamp and let me keep on Shinning for you.

    Shall we stand please!

    After the same manner also He took the cup. When He had supped saying: This Cup is the New Testament in my Blood. Please do this as often as you drink it in remembrance of me; in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

    Thank you Father; please refill my lamp Lord. Let me continue to shine for you forever and ever; Shinning better day-by-day. Refill my lamp, let me keep on shinning brighter and brighter until I see you in Glory.

    Oh, thank you Father. Blessed be your Holy Name. Give me oil in my lamp Oh Lord; keep me boiling for the rest of my life. Blessed be your Holy Name. Thank you Almighty God. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

    You will forever shine for Him. He will keep on refilling you. Your light will not go off. You will be Shinning until you see Him in Glory. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

Show your appreciations by Praising Him, He is Worthy to be Praised, He is Worthy to be Adored. There is no one like Him – He Reigns Supreme, He is the Almighty God.

    Thank You Father, in Jesus Mighty Name we Worship – Amen!

    BIRTH REPORT: As at 6pm this evening, the number of children born in this Special Holy Ghost Service has risen to fifteen (15) – seven (7) boys and eight (8) girls.

    Let the boys Praise the Lord. And let the girls shout Hallelujah.

    Don’t worry boys we will catch up before tomorrow morning.

    ISAIAH 60:1 – “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the Glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”

    Once again, tell the fellow on your right and your left and say: “KEEP ON SHINNING”

    By the Special Grace of God, by the Grace of the One who called us “the Light” we have no doubt that we shall SHINE.

    But then, some people shine brighter than others and some shine longer than others.

    1 Corinthians 15:41says:

    “[There is] one Glory of the sun, and another Glory of the moon, and another Glory of the stars: for

    [one]

    star differeth from [another] star in Glory.”

    This passage tells us clearly that there is Glory of the moon, there is Glory of the sun and there is the Glory of the stars. And it went further to say, stars differs from stars in Glory.

    So sun will shine brighter than others and sun will shine longer than others.

    For Example, Acts 5:14-16

    14. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

    15. Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid [them] on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

    16. There came also a multitude [out] of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.”

    The Bible says, God performed Miracles and Wonders by the hands of the Apostles. All of them performed Miracles, Signs and Wonders. But then Peter performed even greater Miracles than the others because His shadow alone began to heal the sick.

    So, someone will shine brighter than others.

    Am believing God for someone here today (or reading) that by the Special Grace of the Almighty God, “you will shine brighter than me” (Amen).

    Your Amen will determine whether you are the one or not – Amen

    How long a Light will burn, bright and shine? How long, is determined by the fuel that is inside the lamp.

    In the story of the ten (10) Virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. The Bible tells us that the ten (10) Virgins left home with their lamps full but as the light began to burn, it consumed fuel and by the time the Bridegroom was approaching, the fuel had gone low but the wise five (5) had extra fuel, so they were able to refill their lamps and it kept on burning.

    … So, how long the lamp burns is determined by the fuel inside.

    That is why in 1 Kings 19:4-8; God said to Elijah twice (2) ARISE, AND EAT (2x) because the journey is far.

    For you to keep on shinning all the way through, He said you must REFILL.

    So, we have come to the Holy Communion table tonight to REFILL.

    So, I rejoice with you who are here because by the time we finish here, your Lamp would have been refilled.

    Now, how bright a lamp would shine is determined by the heat generated.

    … How bright is determined by the amount of heat generated.

    For example, the light given by wood or kerosene is yellowish, almost red, It doesn’t go too far. The light given by Gas, (am jumping because of time) is blueish and we don’t want to touch that flame because it is far far hotter than the one produced by the firewood or kerosene. Then the flame produced by the welder’s light is white. That flame you don’t use it in cooking because it will melt the pot – It’s white, it’s extremely hot and it can cut through metals.

    So the hotter the flame, the brighter the light.

    You find that in 2 Kings 1:9-12. Elijah was hot (by sending fifty (50) soldiers) and their captain to arrest him, he called down fire from heaven and burnt them).

    But Elisha was hotter because in 2 Kings 2:9-15, he got the double portion of the spirit of Elijah. He was terribly hotter than his father. So hot that even the enemy knew you don’t send fifty (50) soldiers to arrest this boy. He is too hot for them so that when the king wanted to arrest him in 2 Kings 6:8-23; the King send a whole army to try to arrest a single man who has no weapons. When the armies came, Elisha knew how powerful he was, he knew it would create problem for him if he should get angry with the armies and destroy all of them (there will be problem of burying them). So he merely arrested them and gave them food.

    There is a level of Shinning that is coming your way – even the enemies will know that don’t go near him.

    So, how bright a lamp would burn is determined by how hot, and how hot is determined by the ANOINTING.

    Elisha was hotter than Elijah because he got double portion anointing.

    That is why tonight we are combining two (2) things; REFILLING, so that you can burn for long, you can Shine for a long time and ANOINTING, so that you can Shine brightly.

    Two (2) things are combined, am believing God for you, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, “you will just keep burning till the very end” – Amen!

    Am also believing God for you that by next time your friends who are not here tonight, when they see you, ‘they will look at you again and say what happened because by then you will be burning brighter.

    If you believe that, let me hear your Amen – AMEN!

    Now, some of you younger ones, probably, maybe you have never seen a lamp where they put a piece of cloth called the WICK. That piece of cloth is soaked in oil and then you put fire on the wick and it keeps burning but as it burnt, it generates some ashes and the ashes will begin to drop the burning of the wick.

    So, from time to time, the owner of the lamp will remove the ashes on the wick, will prone it, remove what is slowing down the burning.

    One of the things Jesus Christ was saying when He said that every branch that is producing fruits, my Father will prone it, that it may produce more fruits.

    Tonight if there is anything that is obstructing your burning, God will deal with it tonight – Amen!

    Then some people will try to light the wick even with the ashes is on it and they will discovered it doesn’t work that way. The ashes must go first. That is why you can’t begin to Shine at all until your sins are being washed away because sins will prevent you from catching Fire.

    It doesn’t matter how long you stayed by the fire, if the ashes are not gone, you wouldn’t be able to catch Fire.

    So am going to give you two (2) minutes if your sins has not been washed away by the blood of the Lamp, please come very quickly, come and surrender your life to Him. Let His blood wash you clean and then you too will be able to catch Fire and you will begin to Shine for God.

    Am going to count from one (1) to five (5); before I say five (5), if you are not sure of your Salvation, if you are not sure that your sins has been washed away, come and I will pray for your Salvation.

    Am counting now.

    Keep coming (2x),, am slowing down a little to allow those of you who are far away to come. Keep coming (3x) Your sins must be washed away before you can catch the Fire of God, keep coming (6x). 

    Thank You Lord.

    Those of you already in front and those of you on the way, cry to God now and ask Him to have Mercy on you: Ask Him to please save your souls, ask Him to wash you clean with His Blood, ask Him to become your Lord and your Saviour; Promise Him that from now on, you will serve Him.

    The rest of us, let us stretch our hands towards our new brothers and sisters and pray that the Almighty God who saved our souls will save their own souls also. The Blood of Jesus will wash away their sins and they will be completely clean.

    Please intercede for them, we have just about two (2) minutes and then we will pray. If you are still on the way, you have to hurry up now because am about to pray for Salvation.

    Hurry up (2x). Those of you who are still on the way, make sure you get here before I finish praying.

    Thank You Lord, keep coming (2x) I will wait for five (5) seconds more.

    Thank You Lord, in Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION:

    Saviour I want to bless Your Holy Name for Your Word. I want to Thank You for these people who have come forward to surrender their lives to You, please Father, remember Your promise that whoever will come unto You, You will not cast them out.     ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOLY COMMUNION.

    Now we will be proceeding to the Holy Communion Service:

    When you eat the bread tonight, your prayer will be that: “ANYTHING IN MY SYSTEM THAT WILL NOT ALLOW MY LIGHT TO SHINE, LET IT BE UPROOTED TONIGHT”.

    Because He said, when He took the bread, He broke it and He said this is my body broken for you and the bible says “it’s by His stripes we are healed”.

    So when you take the bread, it means, anything that has been introduced into your system, things that were not planted there by God are to be destroyed by the broken bread.

    You heard the Testimony of one young man yesterday, he took the bread and the enemy said as the pains disappear now? He said, mind your own business. The flesh of the Almighty Lord that I have taken is going to attack the problem in my flesh, repair it and replace it.

    He is going to do the same thing for you tonight. So when you take the bread, your prayer will be: “Anything that is still left in my body that could hinder my shinning, Father, let it be destroyed completely tonight’

    When they served you the wine, you hold on till we are all be served and I will tell you how to pray at that stage.

    “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you. That the Lord Jesus the

    And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.”

    THE ANOINTING SERVICE

    The oil has been blessed.

    There will be Pastors all around the Auditorium. So you locate the one that is nearest to you and go to him for your Anointing.

    I will be Anointing the Assistant General Overseers (AGO) and they would help me anoint the people who are on the altar here including the members of the Choir and the other side.

    As the oil touches your head, reach out by Faith for a “New Release of Anointing”.

    The bible says the Just shall lIve by Faith. As soon as it touches your head, I want you to keep on crying to Almighty God that for the rest of your life, ‘you will be Shinning brighter and brighter, Swimming in the Glory of God. OK!

    There is one song I want the choir to sing for us;

    Cry to the Almighty God and say Father; don’t let my Neighbour ever get cold. Go ahead and talk to Almighty God:

    Please Father, don’t let any of these your children ever get cold. let them get hotter by the day, hotter by the hour so that the enemy will ‘stay away from him/her’.

    Don’t let any of these your children ever get cold. Let them get hotter and hotter per second per second so that they can burn brighter and brighter all the days of their life.

    CLOSING PRAYER:

    In the Name that is above every other names, you will get hotter by the day. You will never become lukewarm, you will never become cold, your life will shine forever.
