RCCG JULY 2018 DIVINE ENCOUNTER – THEME: STRONGER THAN YOUR ENEMIES – PART 7 (PERMANENT, COMPLETE VICTORY OVER POVERTY)

Thank You Lord; Thank You Jesus Christ – Amen!

OPENING PRAYER:

Father, You are Worthy to be Praised. You are Worthy to be Adored. King of kings and Lord of lords, we worship You. Please, Accept our Worship in Jesus’ Name.

Thank You for all the BLESSINGS of the first (1st) half of this Year.

Thank You for bringing us to the second (2nd) half Oh Lord. Please accept our Worship in Jesus’ Name.

My Father and my God, this is the seventh (7th) Month of the Year; everything pertaining to Your children, Perfect this Month.

Perfect our VICTORIES; Perfect our JOY; Perfect our TESTIMONIES.

Father, let the Miracles begin right now.

In Jesus’ Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Let somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) people and say this Month will be a Glorious Month for you.

… And then, you may please, be seated.

2 KINGS 4:1-7; we are talking about: ‘Permanent, Complete Victory over Poverty’.

1. Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the Prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
2. And Elisha said unto her, what shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid had not anything in the house, save a pot of oil.
3. Then, he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbors, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
4. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.
5. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.
6. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
7. Then she came and told the Man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

I want to Prophesy unto somebody here today; before the end of this Month, you will CROSS the BORDER of POVERTY forever – Amen!

Poverty is not an ordinary enemy. It is a very, very destructive enemy.

The Bible says: ‘The destruction of the poor is their poverty’. That means, poverty can destroy.

But the Almighty God has the Ability to make us Stronger than Our Enemies.

The Almighty God has the Power to give us Permanent and Complete Victory.

This is a woman who was drowning in debt but then, certain things happened in her life that brought a total end to her financial problem.

So we want to learn some lessons from this woman:

1. She cried for Help.

She didn’t cry just to a representative of God.

Because David said: ‘I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord Who made Heaven and the Earth’.

God still hear Prayers.

Psalms 65:2 says: ‘Oh thou that heareth Prayers, unto thee shall all flesh come’.

Not only does He hear Prayers, He is going to hear somebody today.

He Promised that He will answer because in Psalms 50:14-15, He says: ‘If we pay our vows to the Lord, if we always approach Him with thanksgiving, when we call on Him in the day of trouble, He said He will answer us.

This woman knew that there is a God Who can answer prayers.

That God is here today He is going to answer the Prayers of somebody.

1. When she got to the Man of God, and the Man of God said: ‘All right, what do you have in the house?’ ‘I have nothing, but a pot of oil’.

The Man of God said, ‘Ok, go and do the following: borrow empty vessels; shut the door upon yourself and your children; begin to pour out the oil and set aside that which is full’.

She believed. She didn’t argue. She didn’t say, ‘Man of God, what I need is money’. She didn’t say, ‘Man of God, if I pour the little oil I have into an empty vessel and I decide even to pour it back, it won’t be full anymore’. ‘How can I be pouring oil into an empty vessels and the vessels will be getting full?’

… She didn’t query the Man of God but she just simply believed.

The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 20:20 that: ‘if you believe in God, you will be established. If you believe His Prophet, you will prosper.”

How many of you believed that today, very soon, in the Name that is above every other names, you won’t know what is called poverty again – Amen.

… And so shall it be unto you in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

In Mark 9:23, the Bible says: If only you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.

Several years ago, when we cane here for the first Convention, we were many – So many that we spent ten (10) days here for Convention.

For you to start Friday night and continue till the following Sunday. We slaughtered ten (10) cows and it was enough to feed all of us.

And we were glad. We said, ‘Ah, the Convention is Great!’ – If you know his many cows we slaughtered, ten (10).

And I told my people then, some of them are up here. I said, a day is coming , trailers will be bringing in the cows. They scratched their head and said ‘Amen!’

Today, by the Grace of God, even two thousand, five hundred (2500) cows will not be enough.

I am saying to somebody here this morning, one day, very soon, you will come to me and say: ‘Daddy, how much will the Convention cost?’

Who is that fellow?

If you believe, let me hear you shout Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH!

No 1: she cried; No 2: she believed.

1. She Obeyed.

She didn’t just believed the Man of God, she went away and did what the Man of God said go and do.

Isaiah 1:19 says: If you are Willing and Obedient, you will eat the Good of the Land.

… You must be Willing.

So, we are all Willing and that is why we are here so early on Monday morning.

The other important ingredient is OBEDIENCE – She obeyed to the detail.

Deuteronomy 28:1-13, that passage of the Bible with so many blessings started by saying: If you would hearken diligently to the Voice of the Lord our God, to observe and to do all that He commands you – all, it is then He says that, not only will God bless you, you will be running from the Blessing and the Blessing will be pursuing and overtaking you.

Obey all, don’t obey part. Your obedience must be Complete. Your Obedience must be in details.

1. This woman had good neighbours.

You can’t just go to the house of somebody that you are not friendly with and say: ‘I want to borrow something’.

But this woman had good relationship with the neighbours. They knew her. She was welcomed in their homes.

When she said: ‘I want to borrow empty vessels’, they didn’t query her.

They didn’t ask, ‘Why?’ They didn’t say, ‘What for?’

It will also interest you to know that the neighbours were poor. That is why they had empty vessels.

If they were rich, their own vessels will be full.

She was living in a neighbourhood of poor people but she was friendly with them all.

The Bible says in Proverbs 27:10, that: Better is a neighbour that is near than a brother that is afar off.

In other words, if you are looking for Victory of this nature, Victory Permanent then you must have Good Relationship with your neighbours.

How? – God expects you to have witnessed to this neighbours.

They may laugh at you; they may call you ‘Baba Aladura’, ‘Mama Aladura’. But at least, you have been talking to them.

And each time you see them, Ah! Eh! Sister, I have been talking to you about coming to Jesus Christ. When are you coming?

You have been talking and some of them, of course, some will yield to Jesus Christ and through that one, they will become your friends.

Anyone who brings you to Jesus Christ can never ever become your enemy.

She had a Good Relationship with the neighbours and God made a Promise in John 15:16, saying: You haven’t chosen Me but I have chosen you that you will go, bear fruits and make sure your fruits abide and then, anything you ask the Father in my Name, He will do it for you.

Your neighbours are to be in your House Fellowship. Your neighbours are to be brought into the Kingdom of God through you.

Because a neighbour that is near is better than a relative that is far off.

When there is a need, you ought to turn to your neighbour.

1. And then one crucial point was that after she got her Miracles, she returned to the Man of God to Testify.

Do you know that the reason why many of us get only one Miracle and we don’t get another is because we haven’t Testified about the one we got.

In Luke 17:11-19, Jesus Christ healed ten (10) Lepers but only one (1) of them came back to say: ‘Thank You’.

… And he got from HEALING to WHOLENESS.

Jesus said to him: ‘Your Faith had made thee Whole’.

He was already Healed but he was Promoted to Wholeness to make sure that he will never again, have to deal with Leprosy.

This woman came back to Testify – Ah! Man of God, you told me to do this. I have done it. Your God have Performed Miracle.

Many of us don’t Testify.

In Mark 10:46-52, we have the story of Bartimaeus, who was blind and was a beggar.

And that man got Permanent Victory over poverty – He never begged again.

But check the story very well; After, he threw away the garment of shame away which he never wore again.

And in the Name that is above every other names, you too will never wear the garment of shame again – Amen.

The Bible said he followed Jesus Christ all the way.

He didn’t just collect the Miracle and run away — He followed Jesus Christ along the Way.

Many of us, after God had performed His Own, we never return to say ‘Thank You!’

Several years ago, a lady came to us and said ‘Sir, please help me talk to the President’. The President then was my friend. ‘Ask him to give me a Good Position.’

‘What are your qualifications ma?’ – She told me and I said ‘Fine, I will talk to him’.

I have never met the lady before but she came and we spoke. The next thing I knew, the President appointed her a Minister.

Four (4) Years passed, another election was conducted, the President was returned and suddenly, this lady came. ‘Ah, last time when I came to you, you spoke for me and I was made a Minister’. I said ‘Yes ma, congratulations!’

‘Please sir, I want another Ministerial Appointment.’ I said ‘I see, the last four (4) years, when you were a Minister, you never came to say Thank You. You never sent me a Christmas card just to say you remember me.

You want another …

She said ‘Ah! Sir, don’t worry, this time, every Christmas, you will get two (2) cards (laughs). Of course, I didn’t say a word.

Learn to come back to God to say: “Thank You” because there is somebody here that God is talking to.

Today, this very morning, before the end of this Month, you are going to have a Breakthrough – Amen.

The question is: ‘Will you testify?’ Will you return to say ‘Thank You God?’

1. And the conclusion of the matter is this. This woman had only one breakthrough. She paid off her debt and she had more than enough to live on for the rest of her life.

Her VICTORY over POVERTY was not just COMPLETE, it was PERMANENT.

The Bible says all you need is one Breakthrough – One!

If God wants, He can give you one hundred (100) but one will settle the matter.

In Malachi 3:10, it says: “If you bring all the tithes into my house, I will open the windows of Heaven and pour you out a Blessing”

Not many Blessings but just one (1) Blessing that you will not have enough room to contain.

Do you know why the enemies attacking you, telling you to stop paying tithe. They know that one day, your Breakthrough is coming.

And they want to stop it but they will fail.

Just one (1) Breakthrough and the Bible says in Galatians 6:7-9, what you sow, you will reap.

He said, don’t be weary, keep going, keep going. He said because in Due Season, you shall reap.

I am believing God for someone here today that this will be your Due Season – Amen.

Take note of the things I have spoken to you concerning this woman. And begin to apply them to yourself.

She cried unto God. This morning, we are going to cry unto God. We are going to say: ‘God, it is my Turn’.

It is my Turn for a Breakthrough. It is my turn for Total and Permanent Victory over Poverty.

She cried. She didn’t pray like a lady. She prayed like a lioness. Because her children were involved, she cried.

She believed; she Obeyed; she had Good Relationship with the neighbours and she returned to give Thanks.

Keep those at the back of your mind and begin to follow them in detail. Write them down. Put them where you can see.

Cry, believe, Obey, have a Good Relationship with my neighbours and definitely, I will Testify.

You follow this step by step; you will get your Miracle.

I remember years ago, I Preached in Kaduna in a Church there and I told them ten (10) steps to a Miracle.

And I used the illustration of my wife who had had three (3) cesarean operations before we became born again.

And then, by the Special Grace of God, we had a child through the normal birth contrary to the report of the doctors.

I mentioned the ten (10) steps. I didn’t know there was a woman there who had had two (2) cesarean operations and doctor said she can never have a natural birth.

She wrote down the ten (10) steps. When the time came for her to deliver, she didn’t even bother to go to the hospital. She locked herself in and looked at the ten (10) steps.

Step one, oh, I qualified for that; step two, I have done that; step no three, I have done that. By the time she got to no ten, the baby came.

Before the end of this Month, somebody will be ready to Testify.

ALTAR CALL:

So before we pray, if there is anyone here, you are not yet a child of God. You know that God is not going to release a Miracle unto a sinner.

If you belong to Him, then, you qualify for any manner of Miracle.

So if you are here and you are not yet born again, and you want to give your life to Jesus Christ; am going to count from one (1) to five (5). Before I say five (5), come and stand before me. Let me Pray for your Salvation and then, you will Qualify for a Breakthrough.

Am counting now….

Thank you -Amen!

Now, those of you who have come forward, cry unto the Lord. Ask Him to have Mercy on you.

Ask Him to save your soul. Promise Him that from now on, you will serve Him.

Ask Him to wash away your sins. That you will Obey Him from now on.

And the rest of us, let us stretch our hands towards these people and intercede for them and Pray that the One who saved our souls will save their own souls also.

Let us talk to the Almighty God just for two (2) minutes.

Those of you in front, cry to Him. Ask Him to save your soul.

And the rest of us, let us stretch our hands towards them and intercede for them and say Lord: Have Mercy – Have Mercy on these Your children. Save their souls today.

Let them become True children of the Living God. Please Lord, save their souls.

Give them Genuine Salvation.

And if there is anyone who still want to come, you have to come quickly now because I will soon be Praying for slSalvation.

Thank You Father! Thank You Father!! In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION:

Saviour, I just want to say Thank You for Your Words and Thank You for these people who have come forward to surrender their lives to You.

Please, remember Your Promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will no wise cast away.

They have come to You now Father, please, receive them in Jesus’ Name. Have Mercy on them Lord.

Forgive all their sins. Let Your Blood wash them clean. Write their names in the Book of Life.

Receive them into the Family of God. And from now on, anytime they call on You, please answer them by Fire.

And Lord, please, don’t let them backslide in Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Now, those of you in front, I want to rejoice with you. I Promise you that from now on, by God’s Grace, I will be Praying for you.

So am going to need your name, your address and a Prayer request.

Thank You Father! Thank You Father!! – Amen!

Now, we want to stand on our feet and lift our voices to the Almighty God loud and clear and say: Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, give me Total and Complete Victory Permanently over Poverty.

Open your mouth and cry unto the Almighty God. Give me Victory, Total, Complete, Permanent over Poverty once and for all Almighty God.

Give me Victory today. Give me Victory Lord – Victory Total; Victory Complete; Victory Absolute over Poverty today.

King of Glory, give me Absolute and Complete Victory; Victory Complete; Victory Total; Victory Absolute; Victory Permanent over Poverty; over lack.

For the rest of my life, give me Absolute, Complete, Permanent Victory over Poverty. Give me today Lord.

Thank You Father. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

… And so shall it be in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

THANKSGIVING OFFERING:

Let’s remain in an attitude of Worship as we take our offering because we want to Pray the next Prayer with that offering.

Let us take this offering and make it an offering to show God that we believe Him.

An offering so big that God will know we trust Him that our due season will come.

As soon as you have taken the offering, you lift it up to the Almighty God.

And I want you to Pray the next Prayer with Faith because Bible says if you believe, all things are Possible to him that believes.

You raise it up to Him and say: Father, before the end of this Month, the biggest Breakthrough of my life, let it come.

Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God. Before the end of this Month of July 2018, the biggest Breakthrough of my life thus far, Almighty God, let it come. Let it come! Let it come!!

The biggest Breakthrough of my life thus far, let it come before the end of this Month Lord. Let it come.

Let it come. Let it come Lord. Let it come. The biggest Breakthrough of my life thus far, Almighty God, let it come. Let it come! Let it come!!

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

… And so she it be in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

So, we go to the nearest basket, rejoicing as a sign of our Faith in God that it is already done and drop your offering.

And then you can even celebrate with your brothers and sisters because it is done in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

Before I Pray for you, there some people who wrote that they want some “Special Prayers” and we replied that they should come. Those people can come forward now.

And then, the rest of us, everything you want God to do for you this Month of July 2018, go ahead, talk to Him for just two (2) minutes.

Tell Him. This is the “Month of Perfectio”; Lord God Almighty, this Month, I want this Miracle. I want that Miracle. I want You to Perfect that which pertains to me.

And those of you who wrote asking for “Special Prayers”; tell God what you want Him to do for you. And I will join you in Prayer just now.

Let us begin to bring our Prayers to a close.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER:

My Father and my God, I just want to thank You because I know You answer me when I call. And I know You will answer me again today.

Please, on behalf of everyone of us, accept my Thanks in Jesus’ Name.

Father, concerning all these Your children, let today be their own “Due Season”.

Let it be their Due Season of Miracles; of Signs and Wonders; of Healings; of Deliverance; of Mighty Breakthroughs; of Great Testimonies.

Everyone of Your children, those in front here and those in the congregation, Father, even before the sun sets today, let them have a Testimony.

Everything they have been believing you for, all these years, my Father and my God, answer them today. Answer them right now.

Every obstructions to their Miracles, my Father and my God, destroy today. Replace their sorrow with Joy.

If there are curses in their lives, let the curses be destroyed and replace every curse with Blessings.

Let it be well with them.

Father bless the offerings of Your children; Sanctify it and use it for Your Glory.

And I pray that You will give everyone of these Your children Permanent Victory over poverty.

Before the end of the Month, let them come and Testify.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – AMEN!

Let somebody shout Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH.

You may go out and tell your neighbours: ‘Friday is going to be very Powerful so make sure that you bring them here so they can have Permanent Victory over all their enemies.
