NUGGETS FROM PASTOR IBUKUN AWOSIKA’S TEACHING: THE MINDSET OF VICTORY.
Your mindset! – How do you think? What so you Believe? What do you see when you have a situation that requires Victory?.
When you are challenged, how do you Position yourself against that Storm?
How do you Process Information that is coming at you?
What lens are you looking at?
Do you see the cup as full or half empty because they are totally opposite views?
When you look at a cup that has half level of water and you see it as half empty, you are not an Optimistic, Ambitious, Forward Looking Visioneer.
When you see it as half full, you can see the Future but you accept the interim.
… You know it is only half but you know it will be Full.
The way your Mind works is what determines how you describe the same thing – And your Mindset is influenced by what words you listen to.
Thank God you are in a house that speak the Truth of the Word.
But in doing that they are teaching you how to apply it to life.
But beyond Church, how do you invest in your Mind in reading the Word and in Educating, Empowering yourself?
When you read Numbers 13:1-3 – It is a story of the children of Israel and the command from God for them to go and explore Canaan.
The Lord gave an “Action Instruction” – Send some men to explore but he added His End Goal to it.
… They are going to explore this land that they have no title to.
But the Lord says go and explore the land because I’m giving it to to you.
What does that means?
I am giving you reason is still “I AM” because you haven’t Possessed it yet.
But He is sending you to view it and see whether the cup is half full or is half empty to you.
The Word of God is settled.
But with every Promise, there is a demand for Action and the one who need to Act is you!
Now, God didn’t say that you will eat without work.
I know you like to quote the Portion of the Bible that says: You will eat Vineyard that you didn’t Plant.
It is not when you are sitting down doing nothing from morning to night that somebody will just come and give you Vineyard.
Go and understand the Scriptures well because we quote the Scriptures without understanding it.
When you want to quote Scriptures, read the History if it – Understand how it came about and understand the Spirit of the Message.
That is how you will know the heart of God and what it says.
He sent them to explore.
For God, the matter was settled but they have to Own the Promise – And to Own the Promise, they have to do the work.
So, my name is Bilikisu. I was born and named Bilikisu. At a stage of my life, the Lord changed my name in my 20’s as I became a Christian to Ibukunoluwa.
As a matter of fact, the Promise came in English – He said “BLESSING”.
So, if you go to Fountain of Life Church, they will tell you to call me Pastor Blessing.
But Blessing means Ibukun – And I don’t like English name at all.
So, I was very quick to say that the Lord want me to be called Blessing.
What is the meaning of Blessing? – Ibukun, end of story.
That is how my name is Ibukun Awosika.
So, I’m living the Promise of God upon my life and I believed Him enough to make it to confess every time He called me.
But, even though the Lord had called me Blessing and had declared exactly how it will work out, I had to work it out.
- I have to make Choices everyday that aligns with the Purpose and “Declared Will” of God upon my life.
- I have to make Choices everyday that set me in that direction because God had made me already with a Will.
I may not like it. I have enough Power to stand against God for Him to say go this way and say No I’m not.
… God will not force me to.
But Wisdom and Understanding and the Knowing of my God and Submission of my Will willingly to His Will and His Words takes me in the direction of God’s “Declared Victory” for me on a day by day basis.
So, I understand I am Victory; I understand the “Declared Word” but the reality is every Word of God in the Bible is meant for every child of God but I haven’t seen every child of Manifesting the Word.
Is God Partial? – No.
Is He (God) wicked? – No.
He (God) has done His Part – His Part is to lay before you the “Road Map” of your life as He (God) sees it.
… That “Road Map” is in His Word.
Is it every Promise of God that is meant for you? How do you own it?
It is in your Mindset and your View!
What do you see? How do you see it? Do you see enough to fight it? Or do you allow the roar to distract you from the go?
