OPENING PRAYER

Father; we Thank You! That is the cry of our heart of Worship: To Know You, to Serve You, and to go Deeper with You.

And so we Say Thank You because You are there – You didn’t hide Yourself from us. Thank You for what You have done before!

King of kings, Lord of lords, the Almighty and Unchangeable Changer; we Worship and Adore Your Name!

You are Dependable, and are Reliable – Thank You for Healing, Thank You for Salvation, Thank You for Deliverance, Thank You for Making Way where there is no Way.

Thank You because You are the Life Giver; Oh God we say Thank You.

Accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus!

We are here today again on this Digging Deep Day. Father, take us DEEPER and HIGHER in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Everyone whose heart is after God; whose heart Pants after God; we ask that today, Jehovah God, You will “ADD VALUES” to their lives, in the Name of Jesus!

I Pray that on this Particular Platform – given to me by my Father and my Leader, I will not do violence to Your Word!

I Pray that I will disappear and You will appear.

And I Pray that every Word that the Holy Spirit will use my mouth to speak today, will be approved Words that will meet our Needs – including me that as You use my mouth to say it, in the Name of Jesus!

Let there be Healing, let there be Joy and let there be a Desire to go DEEPER and HIGHER with You!

We Thank You our Maker! What a Great and a Good God that You are!

And Lord, at the end of this Particular Digging Deep, let us have ALL the Reasons to Glorify Your Name.

Thank You Eternal Father! We give You Glory and Honour.

In Jesus’ Most Blessed Name Pray – Amen!

… And let the People of God say AMEN -AMEN!!!

Praise the LORD – Hallelujah!!!

Today, we are going to look at: “TOUCHED BY GOD OE BY GOLD?

Because in the life we live, there are People that are TOUCHED by GOD, and there are people that are Touched by GOLD.

So we are going to read from the Book of 1 SAMUEL 10: 24-27;

24 And Samuel said to all the People, See ye him whom the Lord hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the People? And all the People shouted, and said, God save the king.

25 Then Samuel told the People the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the Lord. And Samuel sent all the People away, every man to his house.

26 And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of MEN, WHOSE HEARTS GOD HAD TOUCHED.

27 But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought no Presents. But he held his Peace.

May the Lord bless the Reading and Hearing of His Words, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

… MEN, WHOSE HEARTS GOD HAD TOUCHED.

Now, when you read verse 24 for example, the Bible talks about the man that was CHOSEN.

When God chooses a man, that man is Peculiar, Unique, Different – There is not any other!

Well, I want to say there is nobody like you on Earth: Unique, different, adequate, accurate and you are the best of your type!

Anyone shorter than you is too short; taller than you, too tall; fatter than you, too fat; thinner than you, too thin!

Anyone who is not your size: Lighter than you, too light. Darker than you, too dark.

… You are Just the BEST Specie of your life!

Many a times you need to work and release some inertia.

Don’t let anyone deceive you: oh, he is too short! – He is Jealous of you.

He is too tall! – He is Jealous of you.

So, you are the BEST Specie of your life; so enjoy the way God created you.

So, God chose this man among his People; although it was something else he was looking at, when the Lord took him and picked him up to do certain things.

… That one is for another day because it is another Sermon entirely; another Digging Deep entirely.

But let me say that: Christianity these days is turning to a different thing, other than what it used to be!

It is a race for everyone; a New Thing in Town – Everybody wants to become.

… Yes, I want to become a Christian.

But there are only a few whose hearts GOD HAS TOUCHED.

I Pray you will not be among the Mixed Multitudes, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

You are not truly a Christian if God has not TOUCHED your heart. And the Touch of God transforms, translates from darkness to Light.

The TOUCH of God, will bring you from low level of life to the Next Level of life.

For Government to succeed, any Organization to succeed, for Home to succeed, Friendship to succeed, for Marriage to succeed; there must be Men and Women – People whose HEARTS have been TOUCHED BY GOD!

Saul was Anointed, and a Part of the men whose heart God has Touched – Others were children of Belial.

Different things appeal to different People: Some People are TOUCHED by GOD, other People are TOUCHED by GOLD!

I Pray today, that the God of Heaven will TOUCH your heart – Amen!

You know, some People, what touches their heart is MONEY! – Anything that does not have money in it, they don’t want to be involved.

They are in Church, but they are not Touched; they are in Church, but they are not Cultured; they are in Church, but they are not Transformed – They are just there in the Church!

They are only moved by GOLD, not by God – They are moved by Material Things!

There is nothing you will tell them – if money is not involved.

Even when you ask them to render Services in the Church (laughs!) – Service to their Maker; they ask ‘How much are you Paying me?’

While some are touched by GOD not by GOLD!

There is no way you will find God that you will not find Gold.

Now, there is no way you tell them something; buy me this thing – they add a little.

You give them Contracts, they double or triple the Price.

And they say: I am Born Again – They Speak in Tongues to let you know they are really Born Again!

But remember, if you are Born Again (as you Profess) and you are not free, from the “god of Gold”; the Judgement of such People will be greater because they are hearing the Word of God.

Now, it is because they know this: That servant who knows the Will of his Master and didn’t do it, will receive many, many lashes; many cane, more than the People who are outside.

So, God must touch your heart.

Whosoever touches your heart Pulls your heart!

If God touches your heart, then you will be Pulled by Him and if Gold touches your heart, you will be Pulled by the same.

Money is not evil, money is Armoury. Money assumes the Position of anybody who has it.

I Pray on this Platform, and with my eyes closed and even as you are reading now on the Platform of DMC; May God give us MEN whose hearts are TOUCHED BY GOD, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

What are the THINGS you can see in the lives of People whose Heart God has TOUCHED?

… What the things that you will see in their lives?

1. Obedient to God and to Constituted Authority.

But those who are touched by GOLD, they believe in Sacrifice rather than Obedience.

I Thank God for my father in the Lord, that from time to time, he takes a cue from what the Bible teaches.

1 Samuel 15:22-23, look at what the Bible says:

“Samuel said, Hath the LORD has great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the Word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”

… Obedient to God’s Instructions and Constituted Authority.

God must continually touch your heart – It is not just a Momentum Thing; it has to be Progressive!

… There must be Renewal on daily basis.

Wherever you see rebellion, you see Men whom the devil has touched.

David, had so many Problems; he had so many deficiencies but he always return to give Glory to God!

No wonder in Acts 13:22; this is what the Bible says: “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart who shall fulfill all my Will.”

That’s No. 1 – They are Obedient to God and Constituted Authority.

2. They can be in the midst of sinners, but they can never be mistaken for one!

Daniel 1:8, now here is what the Bible says: “But Daniel Proposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the Portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the Prince of the Eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”

Now, listen to this: They can live among SINNERS, but they will not contaminate themselves. They are in the Society, but they are Standing Out.

They may be in Politics – I have heard People say: I cannot be in Politics, I cannot be a Policeman.

And I ask them; who will defend your country? Who will sustain Rules? Who will make Policy?

They say: Politics is a ‘Dirty Game!’

Who will wash it? Is it not Light!

You know what? – Absence of Light makes darkness to continue.

I mean, ask God what He wants you to go and do there – If God wants you to be involved, go there and Shine your light.

Thank God for the few People; not only in Nigeria, across the Globe who are in Politics.

And they are holding the “Scepter of Righteousness”.

Here in Nigeria; they are in the Police, they are in the Army – They are almost everywhere!

So, when you find them in the Society in anywhere: they are there, they cannot be contaminated.

You see them, they live among sinners but you can’t mistake them for sinners because they are Standing Out!

Now Daniel, he had excuse to give but he said No!

In Daniel 6:1-3; an Excellent Spirit was found in him!

… Unlike Esau, who sold his Birthright because of a meal.

Joseph, remember that Young Man who had a vision?

He had the opportunity to succumb to the Persuasion of his Master’s wife but in Genesis 39:11-18; he determined, No, No, No!

I’d rather People see my nakedness outside than for the devil to see it on the Bed of Adultery.

Hey! Young People of God, People of God, Ministers of God, Believers in Christ: as my father in the Lord would say: When you have “Sexual Temptation”; it is a time for you to FLEE, and not a time to dialogue.

Sometimes, you need to PUSH either the brother or the sister.

I didn’t say you should fight; but if you need to actually apply force to save yourself; Hey! Maybe a small slap.

But I don’t mean you should fight.

… Just to get yourself out of that distraction.

Now, in the struggle between Joseph and the woman; he pushed and Probably his clothes was torn.

He said, okay! I’m naked – let People see my nakedness outside than for the devil to see it on the Bed of Adultery.

He STOOD OUT because his heart was after the Kingdom.

And Jesus said in Matthew 6:33: Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all His righteousness….

May God give us men and women, whose hearts, God has TOUCHED – Amen!

May you be one of them; may I be one of them in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

3. Nothing is able to SEPARATE them from the LOVE OF GOD.

No Tribulation, no Trial – Nothing is able to diminish their Loyalty.

Do you know when it comes to Loyalty, they put him there!

I like Paul, in the Book of Romans 8:35-37; very, very Powerful and Instructive.

Here is what he said:

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall Tribulation, or Distress, or Persecution, or Famine, or Nakedness, or Peril, or Sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are More than Conquerors through Him that loved us.”

I Pray: God will give us men and women, whose hearts God has TOUCHED, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

If you are the one, tell your neighbour: God will give us men and women whose hearts have been TOUCHED by Him, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

No. 1 is that they are Obedient to Constituted Authority.

No. 2 they may be in the middle of sinners but they can never be mistaken for one.

No. 3 Nothing is able to separate them from the Love of CHRIST. And:

4. They PANT after GOD and the THINGS of God.

… Some People Pant after GOLD and abandon GOD!

BUT FOR THESE ONES:

JOB – in the Book of Job 13:15, he said: “Even if God kills me, I will still trust Him.”

No matter what they face; they may loose all kinds of things but their trust in God is as Solid as the Rock.

ESTHER – In the Book of Esther 4:14 – Esther said: “if I Perish I PERISH.”

The three (3) Hebrews – in Daniel 3:14-17; they said: “If it be so because we are not Prepared to Worship any other god;”

“Because our God is able to deliver us. Even if He doesn’t deliver us, we are going”.

DANIEL – In the Book of Daniel 6:10-20; his heart was fixed! – Nobody must Pray.

Daniel said: This is a joke, I cannot but Pray.

He Prayed his normal times.

When your heart is after GOD, lions cannot eat you – You become a Taboo, a Meat that is ‘Touch Not’ for lions.

5. They are True Disciples: And they are Disciplined, they are Dedicated, they are Committed and Sacrificial – as it where!

… They can give anything to God; not easily given in to greed.

2 Samuel 23:13-14; is the story of the Great Men of David, who went and fetched him water – Precious Water!

The Bible says, David said: Hey! This is the blood of the People that went in Jeopardy of their lives (to fetch the water).

He could not drink it – he Poured it out unto the LORD!

Can you give that thing to Christ?

God has been asking you to turn your house to a House Fellowship Center, but you have joined the queue of the People who are saying: It is because of Covid-19!

I mean, God has been asking you: Give that House for Evangelism; give that Thing but you say NO!!!

Look at Father Abraham! He was called father of Faith although he operated under the “Old Testament Covenant”, we have a better Grace.

But I Pray that God will give me the Faith of Father Abraham – Amen!

Now, Abraham, the child he waited for – for many years: in Genesis 22:10-12; God said: I need that child.

… Abraham was WILLING to Sacrifice the boy!

When last did you Sacrifice for God?

… God Understands!

Some People have turned themselves to beggars because of Covid-19 – They have things but are still begging.

You are cursing yourself!

You have something but you are still hiding under Covid-19 to amass things – I am afraid!

The are Disciples – They are Disciplined, they are Dedicated, they are Committed and they are Sacrificial.

That is who they are!

6. They are Good GIVERS, Cheerful GIVERS, Generous GIVERS.

Those whose hearts God has TOUCHED; they give Him Gifts.

That is where we read – But children of Belial say – No, we can’t give You any Gift.

… They refused!

I have told you humorously, in one of our Digging Deeps; in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7.

The Bible says: God loves a Cheerful Giver.

But God will not refuse a Grumbling Giver – He loves a Cheerful Giver but if you are a Grumbling Giver, He will still take it because you did not come to this world with clothes from above. Kings, Princes, Presidents – We all came naked.

Today, People are contending about Giving Tithes.

Why are People contending with what the Almighty God is a asking for?

… They refuse to bring Him Gifts!

Those whose Hearts are TOUCHED Pay Tithes without delay, First Fruits and Offering, bountifully – Those whose hearts are TOUCHED.

… You don’t need to Preach to them, to be able to offer their GOLD.

In the Book of 1 Chronicles 11:1-47; it is talking about the Men of David – Who helped him to become Strong.

Please stop accumulating and ‘Bring’ mentality. Put something down.

Help me tell your neighbour: Wherever you are watching me or reading now on the Label of DMC – “POUR SOMETHING DOWN.”

… And the last one on this Segment;

7. They can do ANYTHING for GOD.

When you find them in Leadership, you can trust them.

There are some People today, give little assignment to them, you won’t find them.

They will say: YES SIR!

When there are Benefits to gain, you will see them coming to Church regularly but as soon as they get it, they will disappear.

When it is time to distribute things in Church, you will see them there. But once they get it, you won’t see them again.

Those whose hearts are TOUCHED by GOD are not so – They are like the Mighty Men of David in 2 Samuel 23:13-17. David relied on them!

You can trust them with the work of God!

HOW CAN I BE TOUCHED BY GOD?

… Let me quickly run down maybe five (5) or seven (7) of them:

1. You must allow your heart to be CIRCUMCISED to the Lord.

Without Genuine Circumcision of your heart, you cannot be TOUCHED by God.

Jeremiah 4:4, it says:

“Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.”

You must go beyond – ‘I am Born Again’; and do something that makes your heart Pant after Him.

… How can I be TOUCHED by God?

2. Know who you are in God.

Your level in God is not the same level with devil.

Your level Changed in Christ.

Psalms 82:6 says: You are a god.

My father in the Lord Preached a Sermon a while ago: ” The son of God is a god!”

Because the son a lion is a lion; the son of dog is a dog and the son of God cannot be otherwise!

So you are god!

No wonder Ephesians 2:6 says: “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus:”

Luke 10:19 says: “Behold, I give unto you Power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the Power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

See yourself the way God sees you.

According to 1Peter 2:9: “But ye are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, an Holy Nation, a Peculiar People; that ye should shew forth the Praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his Marvellous Light:”

And not like the Spies in Numbers 13:31-33 – You are not a Grasshopper!

3. You must be CONSTANT with Him.

According to 2 Timothy 4:2 – “Be Instant in Season and out of Season.”

4. Know Him MORE.

The more you know God, the more your level changes.

Philippians 3:10 says: “That I may know Him, and the Power of His Resurrection, and the Fellowship of His Sufferings, being made Conformable unto His Death;”

Even if you can’t trace God, continue to trust Him.

“The bankruptcy of the knowledge of God is the undoing among many Christians today – When you go for God, GOLD will come!

He says when you aspires to know Him, then, you will never EXPIRE. – You need to go for Him for your desires to come.

5. Grow Up in Him.

There is no end to the Growing in CHRIST – In your Prayer life, in your Fasting life, intake of the Word of God.

… You must Keep GROWING!

Hebrews 5:12 and 2 Timothy 2:13 – They are saying the same thing: You NEED TO GROW UP.

You can’t get to any level in life without Growing Up!

The other day my father in the Lord was talking, and he said: You know I have not even started with the Word of God!

And I said: With great things that God has done for him?

So, I went home that night, I told my wife: Please, I want to go to the Altar to Pray.

If Daddy said he has not even started, maybe I haven’t been born yet!

So, I went to the Altar – I said God Please, the Prayer that Daddy GO Prayed: If You are not going to use me in this Generation, Please You better terminate my life.

… GROWING UP!

6. Be FERVENT in the Spirit.

Do not be Lackadaisical in your Spiritual life.

Romans 12:11 says: You must be DILIGENT, you must believe in the Power you carry.

According to Luke 10:19, God has already empowered you to subdue the enemies.

1 Samuel 3:1; even at the young tender age of the man called Samuel – he was already linking up with God.

Samuel was only a boy (not a man) when God started using him to make a difference.

Joseph was a Youth!

Jesus was a young boy – at the age of between 10 and 12 (Bible Scholars are yet to agree on a certain age). And He was among Professors, and He was Teaching them.

… Be Fervent in the Spirit!

… How can I be Connected?

No. 1- your heart must be circumcised.

No. 2 – Know who you are in Christ.

No. 3 – be constant with Him.

No. 4 – Know Him more.

No. 5 – Grow up in Him.

No. 6 – Be fervent in the Spirit. And:

7. Have a right Priority.

And right Priority will bring Reliability and Rededication of your Time!

You must make Good use of your Best Time for God.

It is not too bad to live long, like Methuselah.

My only Problem with Methuselah is that I can’t see what he did like Enoch – Very short life, but impacting.

In Ephesians 5:15-17, the Bible says that we should redeem the Time!

God will give you “Finishing Grace” – Amen!

Help me tell your neighbour: God will give you “Finishing Grace” – Amen!

Say is loud and clear: God will give you “FINISHING GRACE” – AMEN!

… Thank you very much!

Now, there are CASE STUDIES of People who WALKED WITH GOD:

David, Paul, Timothy, Esther and the lot!

But let me cap it up as I round up, with the Benefits of People whose hearts have been touched by God.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PEOPLE WHOSE HEARTS HAVE BEING TOUCHED BY GOD?

1. ADEQUATE Security.

They are ADEQUATELY SECURED from all evils and calamities.

David, a young man who was delivered from the hand of Goliath; He said in Psalms 23:4:

“Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

… Delivered from calamities! – That is No. 1

2. They secured Ways where others are fenced out.

Exodus 14:14-29; the People of God Passed through the Red Sea. Pharaoh and all his Soldiers came – They were covered in the sea.

I like Prayers like: Lord, destroy my enemies! Let trailer jam them….

But let God do His Will.

Once your heart is TOUCHED by God, you are a sensitive Project.

He says in Psalms 105:14-15; “He suffered No man to do them wrong: yea, He reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my Prophets no harm.”

… Anyone that touches His Anointed, God will have to deal with them.

God said to Abraham in Genesis 12:1-3; He called him out and He said: Anyone that Blesses you will be Blessed.

… So I am blessed, you are blessed! I’m blessing you – Amen!

Now, anyone that curses you (laughs!) You know, the Bible says the fellow is CURSED.

So, if any one is cursing you, leave them alone!

You already have a Promise that nullifies their curses!

3. They are FAVOURED by God and by men.

1Samuel 16:12-13; David was abandoned in the bush; but God favoured him – As soon as he entered, they said that is him!

I Pray today (if you will say Amen) and if you will also Pray for yourself: God will FAVOUR you above others – AMEN!!!

I mean, his brothers were more qualified than him but this boy was anointed.

Stop all the arguments: they didn’t give me what belonged to me.

Leave it! If it’s your own, God will deliver it to YOU!

David didn’t even know what was happening – He didn’t know!

When Joseph was to be moved from the Prison to the Palace – he didn’t know!

So, God is at WORK!

He says in the Book of Jeremiah 29:1: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of Peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected End.”

No. 1 – Adequately secured from evils and calamities.

No. 2 – They secure Ways where others are fenced out.

No. 3 – They are favoured by God and Men. And:

4. They usually CONQUER in the Battle of Life – 1 Samuel 17:32-50.

And I love what John the Revelator said in 1 John 4:4 – “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

And in 1 John 5:4 he says: “The Victory that overcomes the world is the Faith in you!”

I like that!

Usually conquers; because the Bible says in Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon fashioned against you shall Proper.”

And in Isaiah 8:9, it says: “Associate yourselves, O ye People, and ye shall be broken in Pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in Pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in Pieces.”

… So God is on the Throne, and He is fighting the Battle.

5. They usually FULFIL Purpose and Destiny.

In 2 Timothy 4:7 Paul said: I have fought a Good Fight, I have finished the Race.

Do you want to finish well?

… Your heart must be TOUCHED by God.

Ah! God will give us men and women whose heart GOD has TOUCHED – Amen.

God will give us Pastors, Ministers, Wives, Husbands, Children whose HEARTS are TOUCHED by God – Amen.

A lot of People are very, very Hypocritical and that is why you must be careful when they say: Yes Sir, Yes Ma – Hypocrites!

… When you are not there, they will say don’t mind him!

Please, those of you who have Titles, whether in the Government or in the Church; People are not married to your Personality – They ar married to your Pen and Title.

My father in the Lord said something, and National Overseer repeated it:

“It’s only the Sun that is Shining that People will gather to warm themselves.”

So if you have a Title, you are a sun – even if they don’t love you.

It is my Prayer: God will TOUCH our hearts – Amen!

ALTAR CALL

Are you Born Again?
Are you really, really Walking with the Lord?

Forget about the Title – Please, forget about that Title.

But in your heart – between you and God, if you are to be the Judge – Will you really follow Him?

Let us bow our heads as we Pray.

If you have not given your life to Christ, I want you to do something about it today.

I want you to Pray: God save me.

If you are Born Again, ask the Lord – Lord, TOUCH my HEART.

If you are not Born Again, Pray because I’m going to Pray for you in a short while.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

Oh Lord, all of us – We release ourselves to You; for me here and all those who are surrendering their lives to you or reading this on the Label of DMC, TOUCH our lives.

Let the Blood of Jesus wash those who are giving their lives and let them be Cleansed by the Blood of Jesus.

Let the Power of God touch the hearts of those that desire a DEEPER Walk with the Lord.

Draw us closer to You, let us make it to Heaven; when the “Roll is Call” in Heaven, let us inherit the Kingdom.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Pray – Amen!
