OPENING PRAYER AND PRAYER FOR JULY BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS.

Almighty God we want to bless Your Holy Name.

We want to give You all the Glory and Honour for all the Blessings that we have received from You Particularly since the beginning of the Year.

We Thank You for Life; we Thank You for Preservation; we Thank You for Support; we Thank You for Your Protection – Father, Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

My Father and my God in this very “Special Holy Ghost Service”; I’m committing Your children born in the Month of July; Father, let it be well with them.

July is the Seventh (7th) Month of the Year and Seven (7) is the Number for Perfection – Concerning all these Your children, my Father and my God everything that they want from You, give to them Perfectly.

Give them a Brand New Beginning of Perfect Joy, of Perfect Peace, of Perfect Progress, of Perfect Blessings.

Lord God Almighty, we are crying unto You once again; even before the end of this Month; let there be Light at the end of the Tunnel. Let the whole world begin to say Jesus is Lord again.

Thank You my Father and my God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

We are continuing our Series on: LET THERE BE LIGHT and this time, we are looking at: Let There be Light – Part 7.

And we will be reading from the Acts of the Apostles Chapter 9 reading from Verses 1 to 6 ( ACTS 9: 1-6) .

1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

.. My Prayer is that the Light of God will shine upon someone tonight – Amen.

LET THERE BE LIGHT!

We have some very serious PRAYERS tonight; and by the time we finish this Holy Ghost Service, I’m sure you will know.

You will have to Pray like never before that the Almighty God will send Light to your life!

This young man called Saul of Tarsus was committed to Jehovah, and he thought he was ‘SERVING’ God with ALL his heart.

And he thought Persecuting Christians – the followers of Jesus, was doing God’s Service.

He was Chairman when they stoned Stephen to death.

Now he was on his way to Damascus, going to arrest Anyone – Male, female, children – who are followers of Jesus Christ, so that he can bring them to Prison and Possibly from Prison to death!

On the way, the LIGHT SHONE: SEVERAL things changed.

PRAYER NO. 1: LORD, if I am going in the wrong direction, let Your Light ARREST ME.

Proverbs 16:25 says; There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

Many a times we think that we are doing the right thing; we think we are going in the right direction; we think we are making the right choices – but we are WRONG.

… Sincerely wrong!

Unless the Almighty God sends His Light, we may end in a pit.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

When you look at Genesis 13:5-13; the Bible tells us that Lot, who went out with Abraham, had Prospered mightily.

… He also had a lot of flocks!

Therefore, the land could not contain his flocks and that of Abraham.

So Abraham said: eh! Instead of your herdsmen quarrelling with my herdsmen; why don’t you CHOOSE;

… The whole land is before you.

You CHOOSE: If you choose to go right, I will go left; if you choose to go left, I will go right!

Lot should have said to Abraham: You are my Uncle, you are the one who brought me along with you; if anyone is going to Choose first – it should be you!

But instead, No!

The Bible said, he looked around, he saw the beautiful green lands toward Sodom and Gomorrah and said: Alright! This is where i Choose. What is left – you can take it!

He thought he was clever! He thought he chose RIGHT!

But you know the end result – in Genesis 19:12-26.

Everything he took to Sodom and Gomorrah, including everything he gained over there; he LOST in one day!

… He even lost his wife in the Process.

Oh! There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

In 2 Kings 2:20-27; when Gehazi saw ALL the goodies that Naaman brought to Elisha to pay for his healing.

And Elisha said: No, I got the Gift for free, I’m going to give it to you free!

… You can go with your money and clothes.

Gehazi said: Ah! My Master has allowed this Naaman to go, free of charged! He said, I will run after him, I will take something from him.

How I wish the Light SHONE on Gehazi that day; how I wish he realised he was going in the WRONG DIRECTION!

Oh YES, he got money; Oh YES, he got raiments; but he also got LEPROSY.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

I remembered years ago: A young man (a friend of mine) said: I want to divorce my wife.

I said, you better don’t talk along that line at all – You are a Christian.

He said, why not?

I said because if you divorce your wife, you are playing with hell.

He said Ah! – Is that all? He said, where have I been since the day I Married?

Before Marriage, he thought he has found a ‘Beauty Queen’ – Oh! There is no girl like this Girl; she is an Angel.

Anyone who advised him at that time, to Pray again – would be wasting his or her time.

Any advice that ‘Angels don’t eat rice’ would have fallen on deaf ears.

He said: don’t worry, I won’t remarry; but for the rest of my life, I would know Peace!

I’m Praying for all of you my children – who are yet to be married; you will not marry a Wrong Choice – Amen!

And then, 1 Samuel 25:1-39, we find another case – This one, entirely different!

There was a man called Nabal. He had plenty animals. And David and all his men were helping him – Protecting his animals.

Then Harvest Time came and David sent his men to Nabal – Would you Please give us some food? – It’s Harvest Time!

And Nabal said: Who is David? Who is the son of Jesse?

He said, who does he thinks he is, that I should give him my food?

The servants said: This man helped us, Protected us.

He said, eh! get him away from here!

But on the way, Abigail (the wife of Nabal) heard it, came – met David, fell at his feet and said: Please, don’t do it, don’t avenge yourself. You are going to be King; don’t let this thing be in your CV – Turn Round, let God do the fighting for you.

The Light SHONE on the Path of David that DAY; he listened, he turned round.

Some days later, Nabal was DEAD!

… Because He decided to FIGHT for David.

LORD, if I am going in the wrong direction; send Your Light and let that Light ARREST ME.

… That’s Prayer No. 1.

PRAYER NO 2 will be: LORD, send Your Light; if I’m riding the Horse of PRIDE, Bring me DOWN!

People don’t often realised that they are PROUD – That is the biggest Problem with Pride!

Proud People would tell you: No, I’m not Proud, I’m just ‘Self Confident’; I am only telling the world who I am – how successful I have been.

And you begin to hear from them the word: I, my, me! – Forgetting that there is a God in Heaven, Who can determine whether you even breathe or not.

There is a God in Heaven – without Whom you can do Nothing.

When you read Daniel 4:1 – to the end; the Bible tells us about the Story of Nebuchadnezzar.

Oh! he was a very successful man. He was successful but the, Pride came in.

God sent a warning …

… As I am sure He is sending warning to someone reading this Message on the Label of DMC.

Ah! Humble yourself: Whatever you have, it is God Who is in charged!

But he didn’t listen.

And then he started speaking: Is this not Babylon, that I have built for my own Glory? Look at my achievements.

And the Almighty God said: Alright! We will show you how ‘Great’ you are! – For seven (7) years, you would eat grass like an animal. After seven (7) years, we would talk again!

After seven (7) years he said: Ah! The Most High RULES in the affairs of men; and He gives it to whomever He Pleases. I am even less than a grasshopper.

… And the Almighty God restored him fully!

Pride is a very deadly sin. James 4:6 says; God resists the Proud but He gives Grace to the Humble.

Psalms 138:6 says: God (as HIGH as He is) has respect for the lowly.

And the Bible tells us in Philippians 2:5-12, it says: The way down is the way up!

You want to reach the greatest height? You must first of all go down to the lowest depth.

It says: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

And then God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a Name which is above every names: That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in Earth, and things under the Earth.

… Study it very closely!

Those of you who have been to the School of Disciple (SOD) I have taught you this before:

Jesus took seven (7) steps DOWN and God raised Him seven (7) steps UP!

… If you want to go high, you must learn to HUMBLE yourself.

Consider Elisha, for example; in 1 Kings 19:15-21 – He was the son of the wealthiest Farmer in the land. He humbled himself – he became the servant of an Itinerant Prophet who didn’t even have a house to call his own.

And he humbled himself so much, and the Bible says he was pouring water into the hands of Elijah.

But you know how he ended – When God picked him there and Promoted him!

If you read 2 Kings 4:8-17, the Bible made it clear that “Great People” begged him to come and eat in their houses – They begged him!

He was controlling Kings, he was controlling the High and the Mighty – Because first, he HUMBLED himself!

For the information of those of you who have never heard me say so: I remembered when I turned Forty (40) Years old and the Almighty God spoke to me.

And I believed He is speaking to ALL my children – So that you would understand that if you want to climb, you must learn to humble yourself.

On my Table then, at the RCCG National Headquarters (In Ebute Metta, Lagos State Nigeria) was a Name Plate – Reverend (Dr.) E.A. Adeboye (B.Sc, M.Sc, PhD)

I wanted everybody to know: Yes, I am a Pastor. But I have a CHAIN of Degrees!

And the Lord spoke to me and showed me a little Vision. At the end of the day, He asked me to choose!

You want to be a Pastor, or you want to be a “Reverend Doctor”?

… Thank God, I CHOOSE RIGHT!

And since that day, He has been helping me.

Your PRAYER No. 3- still based on Acts 9:4. It is: LORD, send Your Light, LET ME HEAR YOUR VOICE.

For the first (1st) time in the life of Saul (of Tarsus) he HEARD God speak!

All the time he was running around and disturbing everybody, and Persecuting the Church; he NEVER HEARD FROM GOD.

But he heard that day; when the Light Shone!

You know, Revelation 2:7 says: Let those who have ears hear, what the Spirit is saying to the Church.

Now, it is not everybody who can hear what God is saying.

And when God speaks – You can HEAR: your life will become completely TRANSFORMED.

You see, in John 10:27, Jesus Christ said: My sheep HEAR my voice.

What does that MEAN?

“You are not even sure you are a Christian until you beginning to HEAR from God.”

… My sheep HEARS my voice.

If you are not hearing His voice, It puts a question mark on your claiming to be one (1) of His sheep.

I’m Praying for everyone of you reading this Message via the Label of DMC today; and everyone who will ever listen to this Message: That God would send His Light and you would begin to hear from Him;

Because, hearing from God turns the TIDES for you!

Exodus 3:1-15, the day Moses HEARD from God, that was when his life Changed.

1 Samuel 3:1-21, the very first (1st) day that Samuel HEARD his name called; that was the day that this young fellow began to March forward as the Prophet for a whole Nation.

From the day that Samuel heard his name called (as a child) the Tides turned for that little boy and he began his journey to becoming the Prophet for a whole Nation.

It is a great thing to be able to hear from God and inability to hear from Him might be dangerous!

Because, according to Psalms 107:20, the Bible says: He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

It means if you can’t hear His Words, you might not be able to get your Healing; if you can’t hear His Words, you might not be able to get your Deliverance.

When you read Isaiah 6:8-10; when God was talking to Isaiah, He said: Let the People be Deaf – so that they won’t Hear; so that they won’t Repent; so that I won’t be able to HEAL them.

Oh! It’s a dangerous thing not to hear from God.

And according to Romans 10:17, the Bible says:

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

I Pray that the Almighty God would send His Light, and everyone of you would begin to HEAR from God from now on – Amen.

Your PRAYER NO. 4 would be:

God, Please, send Your Light and CHANGE my Vision and CHANGE my Focus.

You see, the Bible says: When the Light shone on Saul of Tarsus, and he fell from his horse; and he HEARD the voice of God saying: why are you doing what you are doing?

By the time the conversation was over, he couldn’t see.

Suddenly, his vision was taken away so that he can REFOCUS.

In Genesis 3:1-7 …

Thank You Father!

PROPHESY: The Lord says there is someone. And He says that the one who said there is no hope for you, would come and say: I am sorry, I was WRONG!

In Genesis 3:1-7; the trouble of Eve was what she SAW.

She saw the forbidden fruit – Ah! Beautiful!

This is a nice fruit; I think I better taste it. – Vision!

If you look in the wrong direction, it can destroy you.

… The world is yet to recover from what Eve SAW!

And then you read Judges 16:4-21; and you read in addition Judges 14:1-3;

You would see that the real destroyer of Samson was his EYES – He kept on looking at the wrong things.

He saw a woman among the enemies, he told his Parents: I have seen a beautiful Lady. You must marry her for me!

The Parents said: There are beautiful Sunday women among your People.

No, No, No! I don’t want to hear!

He got into serious trouble with that one and then he saw another one!

… He kept on seeing the WRONG THINGS!

That is why, when the enemies captured him, the first (1st) thing they did was to DIG OUT his eyes.

I’m Praying for everyone of you: Every BAIT of the enemies that can attract you to destruction, the Almighty God will take your eyes off them – Amen.

Colossians 3:1-2 says: Everyone of you that are risen with Christ – focus on things ABOVE!

There are People that have done things they would never have done; because they were looking at the Wrong things.

Some People become thieves because they have seen somebody who has bought a New Car or because they saw somebody who has built a New House; and they say: hey! What am I doing?

… Focus on things Above!

In 2 Kings 2:9-15, Elijah said to Elisha: You have asked me for a “Double Portion” of my Spirit – No Problem! If you can SEE ME;

If you can see the Invisible, then, you will get the Impossible.

Like I mentioned earlier on in the case of Gehazi; he got into trouble because he SAW the wrong things! And he became the ‘CHIEF LOSER.’

He saw the gold of Naaman, he saw the raiments of Naaman; And he couldn’t SEE the Power that could have become available to him as the son of a Prophet Elisha.

Elisha SAW Spiritual things, and he ended up with a “Double Portion” of the Spirit of Elijah.

On the other hand, Gehazi, who would have ended up with a “Double Portion” of the Spirit of Elisha, SAW gold, saw silver, saw clothes;

… And he became a Chief LOSER!

PRAYER NO. 5 would be: LORD, send Your Light and LOCK me DOWN – if You consider it Necessary.

Because when you read Acts 9:9, God lock down Saul of Tarsus for three (3) days and three (3) nights – No food, no water!

If God considers it necessary to lock us down for even longer than has been done thus far; if at the end of the day, it is going to lead us to a “Closer Walk” with Him; and it will even be a more Glorious achievement for God – So be it!

I think I havve shared with you before: in Genesis 40:1 – to the end.

It was while Joseph was lock down in Prison that he moved from a Dreamer to an Interpreter of Dreams.

He didn’t get to Prison because he sinned – Infact, he got to Prison because he ran from Sin.

But God knew what He was doing – He locked him down there for a couple of years.

As for Elijah, he was lock down in the house of a widow for years – 1 Kings 17:8-24.

In the meantime, he developed Spiritually and became the FIRST (1st) Prophet to Raise the Dead!

I am sure many of you would say: Lord, if You want to lock me down for as long as You want: Provided as I come out of it, I begin to raise the dead – You will say Lord, Please, go ahead!

I have told you, according to what we have in 1 Samuel 22:1-2 …

THANK YOU FATHER!

PROPHESY: The Lord wants me to tell someone: I have never been so CLOSE to you as I Am NOW. So if you think I’m far away, forget it! This is the CLOSEST I have ever been to you.

Oh! Thank You Father.

In 1 Samuel 22:1-2, I told you – David was lock down in the Cave of Adullam and there was a lot of riffraff – four hundred (400) of them gathered themselves unto him.

By the time the lock down was over, those riffraff had become MIGHTY MEN, according to 2 Samuel 23:9 – to the end.

They were riffraff before they got into the lock down; they came out as Mighty Men.

And when you read Revelation 1:4-20; John the Beloved was lock down in the “Island of Patmos” – And from there, he got a Revelation of EVERYTHING that was going to happen at the “End of the Age”.

… That was a beautiful thing to happen at the end of a lock down.

So, LORD, send Your Light, and if you deem it necessary; to lock me down so that at the end of it, I can become far, fae greater than I am – So be it!

… That brings us to your PRAYER NO. 6.

Your PRAYER No. 6 is based on Acts 9:10-12. While Saul of Tarsus was locked down, God sent a Destiny Helper to him.

Your Prayer No. 6 would be: FATHER, at this very moment, send DESTINY HELPERS to me.

The Bible says there was a man called Ananias – A great Disciple.

And God spoke to him, He said: Ananias! He said, I am here Lord!

Well, there is this young man called Saul of Tarsus – My Light has SHONE on him, he has seen a vision, he has seen a man coming in to lay hands on him, so that he can receive the Holy Spirit.

… And you are the one I’m sending to Him!

Ananias said: Forgive me Lord, I’m sure You know all things – This man is a killer, he is an Antichrist, he is an Agent of the devil.

God said: Thank you very much for informing me (laughs!)

But go to him, lay your hands on him and he will receive the Holy Spirit.

I believed very firmly that there is someone among my children: That the one who is going to HELP your Destiny is already on the way – Amen.

I Pray that the Light of God would SHINE on Him – Wherever he may be, so God would quicken his STEPS – Amen.

In 1 Samuel 16:1-13 …

Oh! Thank You Father!

PROPHESY: Well, the Lord says whoever this fellow is, would understand – He asked me to tell the fellow to read the Book of Isaiah 6:1-8.

I will tell you the Story of Isaiah – He was already a very, very successful Prophet. But then, God showed him a vision, the Light of God SHONE on him.

He saw the Almighty God, High and Lifted up, etc. He cried unto God: Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a People of unclean lips:

God cleansed him up!

And finally, God said: Who shall I send? Who will go for Me?

Before that experience, Isaiah had written five (5) Books; containing some Mighty Prophecies – including one (1) of my favourites – Isaiah 3:10: Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.”

But after that Encounter, he wrote ALL the rest of his Books; it was as if everything he has done before was Nothing.

God asked me to tell whoever this fellow is: You have done well thus far; but I want you to know – I break DOWN in other to BUILD UP!

… He said the fellow would understand – The DMC Family understands!

He said: I Am about to Prepare you for a Greater Service.

He said: I break DOWN in other to BUILD UP.

…. where was I?

1 Samuel 16:1-30; David was in the bush – looking after his father’s sheep. Unknown to him, Samuel was Coming!

Some years ago, I spent several Months of the Holy Ghost Service discussing: SAMUEL IS COMING.

… Maybe if you go to the Archives, you would get the Messages there!

The One who is going to turn the Destiny of a Shepherd Boy (turn him to a King) was already on his way – But the boy didn’t realise it.

1 Kings 19:15-21; Elisha was still busy in the Farm, not knowing that his case had been discussed between God and Elijah.

Elisha was busy Ploughing, and yet the Destiny Changer was already on the way.

Now, when I say: God send me a Destiny Helper in this time of crisis – Some of us might be expecting, maybe somebody might come from America.

… I’m sure you don’t want somebody to come from China this Period (laughs!)

The “Destiny Helper” may already be in your house because when you read 2 Kings 5:1-14;

The first “Destiny Helper” that Naaman got was the house help.

And when he got to the house of Elisha, Elisha didn’t appear before him – he sent Gehazi.

And Naaman got angry, and he was going away – intending not to obey what the Man of God had said.

It was his servant that said to him: Sir, Permission to speak?

Because he is talking to a General. He said; Yes! What is it?

He said: Sir, if the Man of God had asked you to do some Great things,wouldn’t you have done it? Whereas, all he asked you to do is: WASH and be CLEAN!

… Destiny Helpers!

Lord, send Destiny Helpers to me; if he is already in my home, let Your Light SHINE on the fellow – I want that fellow to SPEAK UP. .

Because that Girl in Naaman’s house must have been trembling when she was telling the wife of Naaman that there is this Prophet in my Country that can heal Oga.

Naaman’s wife could have cut off her head and said: Who told you that Oga is leprous? Is it any of your business?

… But God granted her Speech and she spoke out!

The other servant who spoke to an angry General could have lost his head but God won’t let him keep quiet.

All my “Destiny Helpers”, wherever they may be – At home or Abroad; Almighty God, don’t let them rest until they contact me – Amen.

I have always told you the Story of a “Great Destiny Helper” who came my way – Way back in 1983 on this same Camp Ground.

We just got a small piece of land and we have announced to the whole Church: Our Convention is going to take Place on our Camp Ground.

At long last, we have our Camp Ground – We were building those houses that People referred to later on as ‘Chicken Beds’ (laughs!)

Oh Lord! And then we had a big Problem – WATER.

Every Well we dug here collapsed, because the ground is clay.

We will dig, there will be water; before the following morning, the well has collapsed.

And it was a week to the Convention.

And the People were coming – They were coming because Ah! We are going to our New Camp Ground.

And I was Pacing up and down here.

I remembered that Sunday, morning – I couldn’t go to Church because I was there Supervising the work.

God help me! What do I do?

… This was a Total Jungle then – Total, Absolute Jungle!

The People can manage if there is no food; they can’t manage if there is no water!

They are coming with their children.

What am I going to do?

Suddenly, a man was driving Past, he was not a Member of the Church – He was driving Past, he saw caterpillars working and decided to drive in.

“What are you People doing here?’

I said: oh! We want to have a Convention here.

Oh! Convention – Away from the hustle and bustle of the Town.

I said Yes Sir.

“Is there anywhere I can be of Help? What is your Problem? Do you have any Problem?”

I said: well, the only Problem I know right now is WATER.

How? – I explained.

He said: what you need is a Borehole.

Ah! You think I don’t know that? But there is no money!

He said: I will give you a borehole.

Ah! Thank you Sir. But the Convention starts next weekend – Sunday.

He said; that is a long time!

By the Evening of that Sunday, he has sent a Team of Engineers with Drillers and everything.

Oh! By Friday night, they struck Water!

In the meantime, of course the drillers were Drilling; I didn’t wait for them to get the water; I got my boys to begin to fill the Tower – where we were going to put containers where the water would be pumped into overnight.

Before Saturday breaking Sunday, we lifted up the first (1st) Water Container on this Camp Ground.

That man may not know of, he HELPED my Destiny because by the time the People arrived, water was flowing.

They were looking at me and said: oh! This man knows how to get ready.

Whoever is going to HELP your Destiny, as the Light of God SHINES on you today – Whether the fellow is Abroad, whether he is at home; whether in the Church, your Place of Work; that fellow will SHOW UP, in the JESUS’ Name – Amen.

Your PRAYER NO. 7 would be: LORD, whatever Your Purpose for my life, Please, FULFIL IT.

Because Galatians 1…

Oh! Praise the LORD!

… May be I say Amen to this, before I tell.

PROPHESY: The Almighty God says: There are Testimonies and there are TESTIMONIES.

He says someone is going to come out of this lockdown with Great TESTIMONIES – Amen.

In Galatians 1:15-16, Paul said: “But when it Pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his Grace,”

While I was still in my mother’s womb; GOD HAS A GREAT PLAN FOR MY LIFE!

And because of what happened in Acts 9, that we read to you; because of his “Destiny Helper” they went to him, laid hands on him and he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The man who called himself a “Chief of Sinners”, according to 1 Timothy 1:15, ended becoming the “Chief Apostle” – according to 2 Corinthians 11:5.

… God has a Purpose for every man’s life!

For the PURPOSE to be FULFILLED, He has to: ARREST you when you are going in the Wrong Direction;

He has to bring you DOWN from your Horse of PRIDE; He has to SPEAK to you; He may need to LOCK you DOWN;

And then send a DESTINY HELPER so that at the end of the day, that PURPOSE might be FULFILLED.

I know a young man, way back in 1957 who wanted to join the Military.

I mean, the Military was a very noble Profession – I love the Military.

Fortunately for him, because the Military is not for everybody – as good as it is.

This young man told his mother: I’m going to join the Army. And the mother said, but you are my only son. I can’t stop you from joining whatever you want to join.

But, wait till I die. You bury me first, then you can do whatever you like!

All his colleagues who joined the Army the same 1957 – not a single one of them survived the Civil War; not one!

Today, that young man is a very successful Minister of the Gospel.

But first, God has has to stop him; when he thought he was going in the right direction. God has had to cut his Pride, and get him to surrender his life to Jesus Christ.

So God has has to speak to him, and tell him: No, No, No! I have an assignment for you, and it is not the one you have chosen.

… Now, God is fulfilling His Purpose for his life!

In Conclusion, Our last Prayer will be: God give me the Grace to Pay the Price.

Because God said: Hey, go and tell Saul I will tell him he is going to go before Kings and Mighty Men because of Me but he is going to suffer some things along the way.

… Give me the Grace Lord to Pay the Price.

Philippians 3: 7-15; Paul said: I surrender all that I might know Him. I keep on Pressing forward so that I can have the Price for His High Calling.

Give me the Grace to Pay the Price.

In 1 Corinthians 9: 24-27; He says: I know that everybody runs a race; only one wins the Price. He says I run so that I may win.

My Beloveth children; I hope that you are listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC?

I am sure that by now, you will discovered that this must be a different kind of Holy Ghost Night!

I told you that at this “Special Time”, Sermons has become Bible Study and this Holy Ghost Night is a little bit of Digging Deep.

There will be People who will tell you that because Jesus Christ has finished every works on the Cross – And I agreed one hundred percent (100%) that He has done so – That there is Nothing more for us to do? No Price to Pay? – They might be right.

They might be right because everybody runs a race but only one (1) fellow will win the Gold Medal – Only one Person!

My Coach in 1963 – An American Professor of Physical Education at the University of Nigeria Nnsuka (Nigeria) said to us when he was Pushing us hard.

Now, we have to say to him at a certain stage: We are not Preparing for the Army – All we want to do is Play a Game. So, what is the Problem?

… You have to run many Miles, lift weights, do many Press-Up’s.

One of the things that he said then was: They will tell you that all that mattered in a Game is that you Participate and not necessarily that you win.

He said: So, have you heard that before?

We said: Yes, we have heard that.

He said: Next Time you heard that; ask them: Why don’t they give Medals to failures?

He said to us: Thank God for “Destiny Helpers”.

He said that it is not enough to be among the best; you must be the Best among the best!

He said that they award Medals – Gold, Silver and Bronze.

He said that do you know the Gap between Gold and Silver? Do you know the Gap between Silver and Bronze?

He wasn’t a Christian – At least I am not sure he was but God was speaking through him to me.

When I became a Christian and I saw the Preparations of David for the “House of God” – A Hundred Thousand (100,000) Talents of Gold; a Million (1,000,000) Talents of Silver and Bronze without measures – I got the Point!

A Hundred Thousand (100,000) Talents of Gold is superior to a Million (1,000,000) Talents of Silver.

As for Bronze, hmmm…

That is why I made up my mind – Those who said: Once you are Born Again, you can go on Coasting on your Way to Heaven – No Problem!

I don’t just want to be among the best, I want to be the “Very Best”.

… That is what I want to be; that is what I want my children to be; that is what you have to be in order to be Greater than I.

“The Apostle of Grace” – Apostle Paul said: I run so that I may win; I keep my body Under!

… Paul Paid the Price for it!

They tell me that Jesus Christ has already finished Fasting for us – I agree, I am not diminishing the “Finished Work” of Christ.

I Thank my Lord and He knows that I appreciate Him – It is by Grace that we are Saved.

But “The Apostle of Grace” said in 2 Corinthians 11:27 – He said: I Fast often because in Luke 5: 33-35; the Bible said that the Pharisees came to Jesus Christ and said: How come that Your Disciples are not Fasting like the disciples of John The Baptist?

The Lord Himself said: They can’t Fast while I am with them. I am the Bridegroom. But He said that when I am taken away from them; they will Fast in those days.

The Lord said: His Disciples will Fast until He returns again.

“The Apostle of Grace” – Apostle Paul my friend says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 – You are to Pray without Ceasing.

That means that you are not just to Pray in the afternoon; you are to Pray in the Night also.

I know that it is difficult; I know that the flesh loves to relax, it loves Pleasures, hates Self Disciplines, hate Sacrifices.

But the Bible tells me in Daniel 6: 1-3 that Daniel was among the Top three (3) in the land of Babylon but the King takes a look at him and said: I think I will make this Number One (1).

I want to be Number One (1) – There is nothing wrong with being Number One (1).

It is not a Pride wanting to Pay the Price to be the “Very Best”; to be the Best among the best.

So, you are going to cry to Him and say: God give me the Grace to Pay any Price so that I can be the Best for You that any Human Being can be.

ALTAR CALL

So, those of you who are not yet to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ; you haven’t even started the Journey until you surrender to Him.

And you are hearing from me today or reading now on the Label of DMC because the Light of God is already Shinning on you; it is opening your ears.

As soon as I started speaking; something told you: Hey, Pay attention today because this Particular Program is for you.

Surrender your Life to Him just as Saul of Tarsus surrendered to Him and the Purpose of God for your Life will be fulfilled.

So, those of you who want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; wherever you are, Please bow your heads now and cry unto Him to save your Soul. Tell Him that He will Please forgive your sins and that you will serve Him for the rest of your Life.

And then, let the rest of us intercede for these “Wonderful People” – Pray that the Lord will have Mercy on them and wash them clean with His Powerful Blood.

Thank You my Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER.

Almighty God: I want to Thank You for Your Words; I want to Thank You for all those who are surrendering their lives to You now.

Please wherever they may be: Save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, write their names in the “Book of Life” and give them a very Brand New Beginning so that from now on; they will be serving You.

Father, all those of us who has already surrendered our lives to You; we are going to be crying to You now – Please Lord, send Your Light.

Send Your Light Oh Lord and if we are going in the wrong direction arrest us tonight.

If Pride is going to stand between us and You; Lord God Almighty bring us down and let us hear Your Voice.

Lord God Almighty, Change our Vision, let our focus be on You now.

And if You have to Lock us down to achieve Your Purpose; Father go ahead – Just send “Helpers of Destiny” to us and fulfill Your Purposes in our lives.

I’m Praying Lord God Almighty for all Your children today that the Grace to Pay any Price necessary to become the “Very Best” we can be for You; give us the Grace to do it in Jesus Name.

And Lord God Almighty; I’m committing all Your Disciples into Your Hands – Those who are currently in the School of Disciples (SOD) and those who has Passed Out – Everyone of them; Please Lord remember Your Promise that the Works You did that they shall do also and that they shall do “Greater Works”.

Please let that fulfilment begins right now.

Thank You my Father and my God – In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
