Breaking Limits

Everyday of your life fear will cause you to make decision in one way or the other.

Why? – Because you have taken God out of your situation.

You have created a limit even though when the devil Present the case, it looks like making the Choice for Christ a limit.

And making the Choice against him (Devil) is what opened the doors for you – Don’t forget is a deceiver.

Every moments of your life you are making decisions.

The Totality of your life is the summation of all the decisions that you made everyday – And those decisions impose limits on your life on the expand of your Horizon.

So, for like fifteen (15) Years; it looks like I was slow like I was slower than my Peers because I was interested in doing certain things.

These were Painful moments for me but you know like David I always find a way to encourage myself in the Lord.

And one Good Thing for me was that I was in a Church where I was being nurtured to stand on the Ground of Righteousness.

So, I got a lot of encouragement because my Pastors were People who wanted to build People of Integrity and Character.

… They now gave me Courage to continue.

And then when the Season of Testing and Proofing had reached a Point where your Master who has assigned your Portion of the Master’s Plan; those that are Prepared and Ready because they have tried and tested you, you will become a wonder to many.

Why? – Because where it seems you are moving slowly all of a sudden there will be “Exponential Growth”.

Because who controls Open Doors? Who controls Opportunities? Who controls Blessings?

The Earth and its fullness thereof belongs to the Lord according to the Bible.

Any land that God has not given to you, even if man gives it to you – He will curse you there.

Any land that the Lord has given to you; ten thousand (10,000) men cannot take it from you.

Having gone through that Season and by the Grace of God seemingly to come out of it, I got my first Major Breakthrough.

If you know (For those of us that are Nigerians) – When we had the “Bunmi Oni” crisis at Cadbury.

The Investigations showed that “Bunmi Oni”; the company’s former Managing Director, in concert with the Company’s Board since Year 2002 used “Stock Buy Back”, Cost Deferrals, Trade Loading and False Suppliers Stock Certificates to manipulate its Financial Reports that were issued to the Public and filed with the Commission.

Then Cadbury Internationals brought two (2) British men to Nigeria to try and rebuild Cadbury.

And after two (2) Years of Rebuilding the Institution itself, they were now at a Point where they had the last assignment to build the Board of Directors.

They had six (6) People within the Country they felt they can trust – Giving them a list of various Points that should be met and they were told to bring a list of People that will meet up those criteria.

They came up with a list of thirty (30) and from thirty (30) it was whittled down to eight (8) based on additional criteria.

From the eight (8) it was whittled down to six (6).

When they got to six (6); they started making calls and that is when I got a call.

I had no clue I was on anybody’s list; had no clue I was involved in anything.

There is not a Single Place I sit that I have asked anybody for help, not one.

I stand on the Pulpit of God and I can tell you that Jehovah is the Rewarder – He owes no man nothing.

I got this call.

I was travelling the next day – So, I said if they could meet me in the morning before I travel that night fine.

So, these two (2) guys came to my house and for two and half hours we had this long Conversations and all of that.

This was I think February.

Anyhow, to cut a long story short, a lot of Processes took Place and by October three (3) of us – Mr Adedo Peterside, Dr Adedotun Sulaiman and myself (Ibukun Awosika) became three (3) “Independent Directors of Cadbury”.

The three (3) of us still sit on the Board till today.

It was always as if God’s moment had come.

Every Year there after, I have had a “Major Accomplishment”.

… This was October 2009 at Cadbury.

By October 2010, I had been appointed on the Board of First Bank PLC.

By February 2011, I had been appointed as the Chairman of the Insurance Company that was being set up between First Bank and S. Alam.

S. Alam was the second largest Financial Services in South Africa.

S.Alam Group is a Bangladeshi Industrial Conglomerate. S. Alam Group also has Investment in Banking, Leasing, Insurance, Stock. The Founder is Mohammad Saiful Alam Masud Chowdhury (Chairman & Managing Director)

So they had a “Joint Venture Company” and I don’t know anything about the Insurance.

I told the Group Chairman that I don’t know anything about Insurance.

Why do you told me to be Chairman of the Insurance Company?

He said: What you know is what we need – The Insurance People will be there.

But is a “Start Up” Company – Even though it was owned by two (2) Multi Nationals and we needed a Chairman that has “Start Up” experience and can build the Company from the scratch.

They had a Business Plan that says we will make a Profit in five (5) Years but Jehovah turned things upside down – In two (2) Major Years we are a Profitable Company.

And God could draw attention to you because He will be the Sponsor but you will be the Benefactor.

But only if you know how trust Him! – That is when you take off the Limits.

Only if you know how to trust Him and walk with Him according to His Own Words.

The alternatives will always look attractive but it is employed by the enemies to cheat you because he lures you into unrighteousness and takes you away from the Miraculous.

He (enemy) gives you “Short Term Limiting Benefits” that he can take plus one (1) away from you later.

But tells you that going this way is slow and nothing is going to happen but nobody can move Mountains like God.

A Person of Integrity will always rise to the Top no matter how long it takes!
