SHORT PROFILE OF THE SPEAKER

He is a Proven Minister of God in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and He is the Pastor In Charge of Youth Province 6 – Which covers eleven (11) regions across the nineteen (19) States of Northern Nigeria with Headquarters in Kaduna.

He also serves as the National Director of Finance for the National Young Adults and Youth Affairs of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics in Second Class Honours and a Master’s Degree with PhD in Economics.

He is also an Alumnus of the Redeem Christian Bible College (RCBC), where he has a PhD in Christian Leadership. He has a Master’s of Arts Degree in Christian Leadership Studies also.

By the Grace of God, he is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economists and also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Cost Management.

He has various job experiences, which spans across Lecturing, Manufacturing and the Public Sector.

He is a man of God given the Mandate to restore People who have “Battered Destinies” and is an Evangelist with the Grace to liberate People.

He is a much sought after Speaker in Churches, Seminars and Conferences within and outside Nigeria.

He is an Author of quite a number of books, both Spiritual and in the Academics.

He is married to his wonderful wife, Assistant Pastor Yemi Owoeye and the family is blessed with three (3) amazing children.

OPENING PRAYER

Father we Thank You Lord, we appreciate You.

We give You all the Praises, we give You all the Honour and Adoration.

Thank You Lord for this Privilege, Thank You Lord for what you have been doing in the Previous IGNITE and Thank You Lord for what you are set to do in this Year’s Edition.

Father be exalted in the Name of Jesus.

As I speak now, Father I Pray that you take over my mind and my mouth and make sure that there is an Agreement between my mind and my mouth in the Name of Jesus.

Direct the Words that will Proceed out of my mouth, will make an indelible mark, an indelible impact in the lives of the hearers and all the viewers at home even on the Label of DMC in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Bless your Words in my mouth, bless the Speaker and bless the Words.

And let everyone who would be under the sound of my voice or reading now on the Label of DMC be Positively impacted in the Name of Jesus.

I want to welcome you all once again – All the Viewers at home across the Globe and even on the Label of DMC for this great Edition of IGNITE 2020.

I have come here this afternoon to share with us on: Dominating Principalities and Power.

1. To Dominate is to Rule Over.
2. To Dominate is to be In Charge.
3. To Dominate is to gain Control, to exercise Authority over someone or something.
4. To Dominate is to have Power and Influence over something.
5. To Dominate is to have “Commanding Position” over situation, “Commanding Position” over something or someone.

The Dominating word here is the Present continuous tense – We have not lost our capacity to dominate to the Past; we still have the Power to dominate even in the Present.

That is why the word “Dominating Principalities and Powers” is coming to Play at this time – Most usually during this Year IGNITE Edition.

So, the Capacity has not expired, it is still very, very active.

The word “Dominating” is a Present continuous tense. It means to enforce our “Power of Dominionship continuously.

… Not once in a while, not once in a long while, but always.

It means living a daily Triumphant life over Principalities and Power.

By creation we are meant to dominate.

In the book of Genesis 1:28, the Bible says: And God bless them and said to them, Be Fruitful and Multiply, and Replenish the Earth, and Subdue it: and have Dominion.

So we are Ordained to dominate!

By Divine Authority, we are meant to dominate. God has put all under our feet – Principalities and Powers inclusive.

In Psalms 8:6, the Bible says: You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hand. You have put all things under his feet Include the Principalities and Power.

There is nothing that God has not put under man’s feet. There is nothing that is left out.

In Hebrew 2:6-8, the Bible says: But one testify in a certain Place saying what is man that you are mindful of him or the son of man that you take care of him. You have made him little lower than the Angel. You have crowned him with Glory and Honour and set him over the works of your hand. You have put up things subjection under his feet.

Everything is under the feet of man.

… So by Creation we are made to Dominate!

And by Covenant, we are made to Dominate.

In Joshua 1:5, it says: No man shall be able to stand before Joshua all the days of his life.

… I am not just talking of Joshua but all the Believers.

And by Redemption we are meant to dominate.

In Colossians 2:13-15, you don’t dominate Principalities and Powers until you have “Stronger Power” and consciously use the Power.

You cannot be termed to have been dominating Principalities or Powers when you do have a “Stronger Power”.

And you don’t expect “Stronger Power” until you know that you have “Stronger Power”.

Every Power you exercised starts from a stage of your consciousness – Don’t be like John The Baptist.

You can catch the Spirit of Elijah and still be put in Prison of the Power that be!

In the book of Luke 1:17, the Bible says: And he shall go forward In the Spirit of Elijah.

And who is this Elijah in 2 Kings 1:9-12 – Elijah was a man who a Captain of fifty (50) sent to go and arrest and he said to the Captain of fifty (50), if I be a Man of God; let Fire come and consume.

And before we know it the Captain of fifty (50) were consumed.

Meaning, similar Spirit of the same Elijah and not even Captain of the fifty in his own case.

Just few number of People were sent to go and arrest him, with his two (2) eyes widely open he was arrested.

You can catch the Power of Elijah and the enemieß will cut off your head with your two (2) eyes opened – Just like the head of John The Baptist was cut off.

Stopped taking offense like John The Baptist did – Start dominating Principalities and Powers that you have in Christ Jesus.

In the book of Matthew 11:1-6, he took an offense, expecting Jesus to come and rescue him from the Prison when He has the Power to do something that will make him to be out of the Prison of the wicked.

No wonder Paul The Apostle had to write to the People of Ephesus in Ephesians 1:16, saying: I have not stop Giving Thanks to God for you, have remembered you in my Prayers.

In Verse 17, it says: And ask our Lord Jesus Christ the Glorious Father to give you the Spirit, who wil make you wise and reveal God to you so that you will know him.

In Verse 18, it says: I ask that yours eyes may be open to see His light so that you will know what is the Hope to which He has called you. How rich are the wonderful blessings He Promised His People.

In Verse 19, it says: And how very great is His Power at work in us who believe.

This Power working in us – That is Present continuous.

As long as the Power is working, your Power to dominate is very, very active.

So, this Power working in us is the same Mighty Strength that God used when he raised Christ from the dead.

That is the Power that is still working in us – It is equivalent to the Mighty Strength that God use when He raised Christ from the dead.

All I am saying is that Christ assumed Powers above every Rulers, Authority, Powers and Lord – He has Superior Power to all titles of Authority in this world and in the next.

Meaning that if the Spirit that raises Christ from the dead is actively working in us, that means where the Spirit has taken Jesus to, He will also take us to that same level, that Particular Pedestrial or that same Height in God.

Meaning that no wonder the Bible says in Ephesians 2:6 that: We sit together with Him in High Places far above Principalities and Powers.

If the Spirit that raises Christ from the dead is working in us, that means the Spirit has taken us into a height.

And if the Spirit is in us, it will takes us to where He sits and together we will reign with Him far above Principalities and Power.

It is not enough to have the Power to dominate, but to also be conscious of the Power at work in us.

We went to a Village called “Okpefia” in Eboyin State, Nigeria years back for Crusade, for Village Outreach.

As we entered the Village, there was a man by the Shrine with a very sharp cutlass who was set to cut us into pieces .

We had to carry this man with his Cutlass, removed the cutlass from his hands and destroyed the entire Shrine.

The following day, this same man came to the Crusade Ground and gave his life to Christ.

It was on that same Crusade Ground we used Generator for four (4) Good hours without a single fuel inside.

We only laid hands on the Generator and the Generator was working for four (4) Good hours without a single fuel inside.

We carried the man with a very sharp cutlass and before we knew it, he gave his life to Christ even the following day.

Until we begin to dear the undearable; we will not know the Magnitude of the Power that we carry.

As a matter of fact the Power at work in us remained Dormant until we put it to use!

What are the keys to Dominating Principalities and Powers?

1. You must know in Ephesians 6:12 that we have Principalities and Powers to contend with on daily basis.

So, number one key is to kill fear.

Those who feared God don’t fear the devil – They don’t fear Principalities and Powers.

Many at times we feared Principalities and Powers because we don’t have the fear of God in our lives.

We can’t have the fear of God in our lives and still have the fear of Principalities and Powers in our lives.

It is not Possible for one (1) servant to serve two (2) Masters.

So, when you feared God then you developed Courage, you become Fearless in the face of Principalities and Powers.

What am I saying – God is the Only One we should feared.

2. Have sense of Identity.

We must also have the sense of identity – When there is no Definition, there will be Deviation. When there is no Conviction, there will be Confusion.

Your sense of Identity as a child of God will trigger your Powers to Dominate.

In John 10:34-35; Jesus answered them: Is it not written in your Law and said, you are gods.

In Psalms 82:5-7, the Bible says: They did not know nor did they understand. They walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the Earth are unstable. I say you are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men.

What will make a “Strong Man” to die like a “Mere Man” is his inability to know his identity.

It says that you are god but because you lack understanding that you are god because you are not knowledgeable of the fact that you are god, because you are not convinced of the fact that you are god, because you don’t have the right Pronunciation of your “True Identity”, it says you will die.

May we not die in Jesus Name – Amen.

So, we must have the “Sense of Identity” for us to begin to Dominate Principalities and Powers.

This cost the first Adam their Dominionship.

Why? – Because they have no Knowledge of their “True Identity” in Christ Jesus.

No wonder Paul says in Romans 8:34-38 – It says: Yet in all these things we are more than conqueror through Him who love us.

It doesn’t matter what is challenging you, it doesn’t matter what is daring your Authority – In the midst of all of these, He was still saying that: We are more than Conqueror.

The Conqueror is the one who has the Power to conquer – It says he is more than the one who has the Power to conquer.

3. We must be bold and courageous.

God spoke to Joshua in Joshua 1:6 – It says: Be Bold and be Courageous.

AK-47 in the hands of the timid is a waste.

The Righteous is as Bold as a lion.

Be Proactive, don’t be Reactive, don’t be Defensive – Be offensive.

Don’t allow your Destiny to be wounded beyond retaliation – Be faster than Principalities and Powers.

Some People, their Destinies had been wounded beyond retaliation – Meaning they don’t have the Capacity to retaliate again.

The destiny had been wounded and battered beyond retaliation, even beyond being put together.

Why? Because they are not offensive, they are always on defensive.

They are not Proactive, they are always reactive.

There is an injury you will sustain and you will lack strength to fight back.

So, don’t allow the enemies to injure your Destiny before you fight the enemies – We must always be offensive.

4. Confident in the God of Power.

You must have confident in the God of Power.

And Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said to King Nebuchadnezzar – They said: Oh Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer you in this matter in Daniel 3.

They said: Our God whom we serve is able to deliver and if He chose not to deliver we are ready to die the consequence.

Why? – Because they know the Personality of God, they know the Ability of God and they know the Dynamism of God.

And sometimes, God may decide to loose a battle in order to win war.

They knew that sometimes, God has the Power to do something and may still not do it – The reason best known to Him.

What am I saying is that be confident in the God of Power.

As Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego told Nebuchadnezzar, they are not even giving him title.

It is just like calling the President of a Nation a name without adding his title to it.

So, Oh Nebuchadnezzar we are not careful to answer you on this matter.

So, be confident in the God of Power.

Every other Powers are derived from the God of Power.

In Psalms 62:11, the Bible says: God have spoken once, twice have I had this that Power belong to God.

God is the Only One who has Power – He is the Custodian of Power, He is the Giver of Power, He is the Distributor of Power.

In the book of 1 Chronicles 29:11-12; the Bible says: Yours Oh Lord is thy Greatness, the Power and the Glory, the Victory and the Majesty. For all that is in Heaven and in Earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom Oh lord; you are exalted as Head over all, including Principalities and Power.

So, be confident in the God of Power!

5. Be consumed by the Heavenly Agenda of Wining Souls.

When you are consumed, Signs begins to follow you to dominate.

In Mark 16:20, the Bible says: And they went out and Preach everywhere, the Lord walking with them, confirming the Word through the accompany Signs.

There is a Sign that will follow you – Through the accompany Signs, Evidence, Proof that you are a true child of the living God.

You dominate when your life is consumed by Heavenly Mandate of Soul Wining.

God cannot be committed to a course and not crush the Possible oppositions on the Way.

Behind the Golden Commission is a Divine Commitment from the Most High God.

When you are consumed with Gods Agenda for this Generation, you dominate Principalities and Powers.

6. Speak out.

It is either you speak or you die.

The Bible says in Revelation 12:11: For they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their Testimony.

Keep testifying what you believe in this Christ Jesus – Speak out!

It is either you speak or you are silenced Permanently.

As a matter of fact, for you not speaking is a Proof that you have been silenced.

For you not to speak when you are supposed to speak. Why? – Because that Word carries Power.

With the Word, all things were made and without the Word nothing you can see was made.

What am I saying is that: There is a Potency of the Word to speak out.

7. Stand your Ground – Putting on the belt of Truth and Body Armour of God’s Righteousness.

In Ephesians 6:14; he Bible says: Stand your ground, putting on the belt of Truth and the body armour of God’s Righteousness.

8. Put up the Peace that comes from the God.

News that you will be fully Prepared – Ephesians 6:15.

9. Hold up the Shield of Faith to stop the fiery arrow of the wicked – Ephesians 6:16.
10. Put on Salvation as your Helmet and take the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times.

… And on every occasion, stay alert and be Persistent in your Prayer for unbelievers – Ephesians 6:18.

11. Continous Submission to God in James 4:7.

Until you Submit to Authority of God, no Authority of Principalities and Powers will Submit to you.

So you must Submit to the Authority of God who is the “Originator of Power” for Principalities and Powers to Submit to your own Authority.

In James 4:7, the Bible says if you are not under Authority, you have no Authority.

For you to have Authority, you must operate under Authority.

*Until you Submit to the Authority of the Most High God, no Principalities and Powers will Submit to the Authority given to you by that same God – Romans 6:16.

To be a servant of Righteousness, you have to Submit to the Nature of Jesus for you to keep dominating.

And the more you Submit, the more the Principalities and Powers Submit to your Authority.

I want to end up with this: That for you to dominate you must identify with the Power that makes you to dominate.

God will bless you in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!

CLOSING PRAYER BY THE SPEAKER

I want to Pray with us for the consciousness and for the Grace to exercise the Authority we have in Christ Jesus.

That God bestowed upon us the consciousness of our Cohabiting in Christ Jesus.

And the Grace to Submit to the Authority of the Most High God – That Principalities and Powers may continue to Submit to us in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Thank You king of Glory, Thank You our Precious Redeemer.
