SHORT PROFILE OF THE SPEAKER:

Pastor Peter Amenkhienan is a graduate of Chemistry from the University of Benin. He holds a Master in Business Administration degree and Bachelor of Art’s Theology Honorary Doctorate in Strategic Studies.

He has held various Management Positions in Conglomerate Sectors in Nigeria before answering the Call to the Ministry.

… A Pastor by Calling and Best Selling Author of several books including Strategic Living and Living Above Limitations.

Pastor Peter Amenkhienan believes in Discipline and Mentoring People of Power and Praise for God who will do Great Exploits for God in their Generation.

He is married to Pastor (Mrs) Sola Amenkhienan and they are blessed with four (4) lovely children.

Are you excited to be in the house this morning?

OPENING PRAYER:

Father, we want to thank you because of who you are. We want to thank you because you are the One who brought us together … even this moment to again learn at your feet; to again open ourselves up for what you are expecting from us. Lord I pray that in all the Centers and in this place (Surulere Center) that your Will will be exposed to us again. That the Lord we will come to know what we are supposed to be doing at this time on earth where we are planted.

As we look at the topic of today – COMPLETE DOMINION; Lord help us to take our proper position and to play our own role.

Thank you Father, in Jesus Name we pray.

Let me start by thanking the Leaders – the National Pastor of the Youth, Pastor Precious Akingbade – please give him a round of applause. And also the Head of this particular Ignite Program, Pastor Gideon – please give him a round of applause. I want to thank too all the Leaders of the Young Adults Youth Affairs who are playing their various roles.

The theme for this year Ignite is: Kingdom Mandate but have been asked to speak on Complete Dominion.

BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 27:40

And by thy sword shalt thou live and shalt serve thy brother and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

Dominion was given to man as a “Natural Gift and Blessings” from God Almighty from the very beginning – Genesis 1: 26-30.

So God gave man dominion and gave man the mandate to have dominion over everything that He has created – Looking at the scriptures, and particularly looking at Revelations 5: 1-10.

… So we are created to reign on the earth.

God blessed man after the creation and commanded man to have dominion – so this is an instruction from God that we should be ruling and reigning on this earth.

What then is Dominion?

Dominion means Ruling Power, Authority, Ruling Control, Ability to be in Charge, Rulership.

So we have been given this Dominion Mandate.

What is Dominion Mandate?

Dominion Mandate is the authorisation to rule and reign over. It is the authoritative order to take control, to be in charge, to be in rulership.

And God wants us to have Complete Dominion  and to exercise it in every area of life on this earth. We have been given authority to have Complete Dominion.

Complete Dominion means Full or Total Ruling Power.

Please understand this very carefully, if you refused to have this dominion where God said that you should have it, then you will be dominated. Wherever you refused to have dominion, Total Fulfilment becomes elusive.

The question then is: How then can we be enjoying dominion?

There are various areas of life that I want us to consider if you want to say that you have Complete Dominion.

I have in life seen people who are enjoying dominion in business but go to their families and relationships; those areas are in mess – this is incomplete dominion.

I have seen those doing well in business but their health is in a mess – that is incomplete dominion.

What God expects from us is that in the areas of your family, finance, faith, friendship, health etc that you are exercising Complete Dominion.

1. If we are to say that you are enjoying Complete Dominion, then you have to have Dominion over SELF because if you are not ruling over yourself; if you are not having control over your characters, conducts and conversations then you are not in complete dominion. But if you can control your life in all of these areas mentioned then we can say that you are exercising dominion over self – Dominion over Self Will.

That is why Apostle Paul said what he said in 1 Corinthians 9:27 – But I keep under my body and bring it into subjection: less that by any means when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

2. You also need to exercise dominion over Situations and Circumstances.

There are lots of believers and people on this earth that are not in control of their situations and circumstances at all. Let us take a look at the life of Jesus Christ and see what happened in Marks 4: 35-41 – they were trying to cross over to the other side to advance in life. And then circumstances arose – there was this stormy situation; but He took control.

3. You also need to have dominion over sea creatures and earth creatures – Genesis 1:28.

4. You need to have dominion over sin – Romans 6: 12-14.

5. You need to have dominion over Satan. He is now under our feet and so you should exercise control over him as he should not be the one dictating to you.

6. You need to have dominion over spirits in the demonic world. You will see people in business carrying rings and one small thing along (they are all symbols of demons).

7. You need to have dominion over sickness and diseases – Exodus 15:26; 1 Peter 2:24.

8. You need to have dominion over sorrow – 1 Thessalonians 4:13; Revelations 21:4.

9. You need to have dominion over spirit of death. Infact David said even though we now pass through the valley of the shadow of death – nothing will happen to us.

10. You need to have dominion over lacks and insufficiencies or poverty – John 10:10.

11. To say that you are exercising Complete Dominion, we must see you have dominion in the Material realm too – Material Dominion – Read Job 2: 4-5; 2 Kings 5: 1-5.

12. You should have dominion in the Medical and Health issues – Medical Dominion.

13. You need to have Momentary Dominion.

14. You need to have Mental Dominion.

15. You need to have Management or Administrative Dominion.

When you do all the above then we can say that wherever is your sphere of influence or you are planted, then you are exercising rulership. This is what God is expecting from all of us.

Then we can also dominate in the following areas:

1. FAITH DOMINION: You need to exercise Great Faith – having faith in the Word of God – Psalms 119: 89 – Having faith in the Works of God – Psalms 64:9; having faith in the Wonders of God, having faith in the Works of God – 3 John 1:2; having faith in the Will of God – Luke 22:42; having faith in the wealth of God – Haggai 2:8, Psalms 50: 10-11; having faith in the Ways of God.

If you are exercising Dominion in these areas of your life; such faith will soften your fall and confirming your future.

2. If you are exercising Complete Dominion in the area of your faith, if you are ruling over your faith then we will expect you to exercise dominion over your Finances and Economy.

Finance is the conduct of Financial Matters, Management of Revenues or Monetary Resources.

You need to learn how to secure money, save money, spend money and share money – Luke 16: 1-2.

I. You need to learn how to make money.

Also need to know how not to make money at the expense of your Health – Psalms 127:2; not at the expense of your Character – Habbakuk 2:15 and not at the expense of your higher value.

II. Learn how to secure money – Luke 16:8.

The bible teaches us to save money and not to hoard money – Proverbs 6: 6-8.

Note: The bible is not against making money.

III. Learn how to spend money – Luke 16:8.

Beware of credit buying. Beware of greed and impulse buying. Beware of ego buying – buying to please people.

IV. Learn how to share money – Luke 16:9.

You must also have what we call “Financial Intelligence” – understanding of how to make, manage and multiply money.

There are those who knows how to make money but they don’t know how to manage it. There are those who knows how to manage money but cannot multiply the money.

If you are ever going to rule over your finance; then you must have what we call “Financial Intelligence”.

Daddy prayer for us all is that from now on, we will received the Special Grace to be making money, managing money and multiplying money.

Who am I talking to? If you are the person rise up on your feet and shout Hallelujah!

You must have understanding of what we call “Financial Planning”.

One of the bane of this Nation is that our Leaders don’t undertake Financial Planning. Developed Nations are where they are today because they know how to make money, manage money and multiply money. They also undergo Financial Planning in whatever they do.

If you plan well, you are most likely to do well financially.

Now there are what some people called the ADC of Financial Planning:

I. The “A” means to ascertain your Location.

Where am I Financially? Where are we Economically? As a Nation, what do we do with what we have? What are our resources? What are our responsibilities?

II. The “D” means determine your destination.

Determine where you are heading to. What do you want to achieve? Where do you want to get to? How wealthy do you want to be in life because there are wealthy people and wealthy people? What is the height or level that you want to get to because wealth is relative.

III. The “C” means choose your vehicle.

Determine the means with which you want to get to your destination in Financial Destination.

Financial Planning are many but daddy will tell us a few of them: you have to determine whether it is paid employment that will help you to get there (this is usually very slow vehicle of getting to a wealthy status in life). Or maybe you have inherited or transferred wealth. Maybe you will use the money market or stock market. Maybe you will develop a business or it will be real estate. Maybe it will be intellectual property.

Daddy prayer for us is that whatever may be your Financial Destination, God will give you the wisdom to know the Vehicle that will take you there in Jesus Name.

Daddy sees some of us employing others … Am sure you are hearing this; that is better for you.

Allow money to be working for you instead of working for money.

Daddy prayers for us all of us here, watching online or reading is that money will be working for you and you won’t be working for money.

There is also what we call “Financial Discipline”.

Please do remember that there are three (3) phases/stages in life and you need to be disciplined to keep rising in life.

I. Learning Phase – From 0 – 25 years old.

II. Earning Stage – From 25 – 50/60 years old.

III. Ending Phase.

Some of you are in the Earning Phase now – make the best out of it.

The way you do in the Learning Phase will determine what will happen in the Earning Phase. The way you save in your Earning Phase will determine what happens to you in the Ending Phase.

… You will end well in Jesus Name.

There is also something we call 70/30 Principles – spending and making use of 70% of whatever you earn and ensuring that 30% is saved.

A Saving Culture will secure your Future.

… And daddy see your future secures in Jesus Name.

Financial Discipline is sticking to Plan come rain come sunshine.

You also need to avoid “Emotional Purchases” –

I. Always stick to your budget.

II. Delaying Gratifications – staying within your 70/30 Principles.

Most people borrow money they don’t have, to buy things they don’t need in order to impress people they don’t like.

… If this is your life, I don’t see you exercising Dominion.

Also remember this; to be wealthy in the area of your Finances, you must learn how best to use what we call the OPK, OPF, OPS, OPI and OPC.

I. OPK simply means Other People’s Knowledge – Proverbs 24: 3-4.

II. OPF simply means Other People’s Failure – Proverbs 24:16.

Know what made others fail so that you will not fail too.

III. OPS simply means Other People’s Success.

Find out what others did to make them to be successful. This is exactly what Queen Shebba did to Solomon.

IV. OPI simply means Other People’s Insight.

V. OPC simply means Other People’s Credibility.

There are some people with great credibility and through their credibility, you can be moved forward – from grass to grace, obscurity to superiority.

.. Let credible people mentors you.

3. You need to also exercise Dominion in the area of your Fitness – Health issues.

You need to be living a healthy life and living in Divine Health. There are those who are sick and making money – they don’t have life to enjoy it. Don’t make money at the expense of your health. You need Total Fitness – a state of Total Physical, Mental and Spiritual Soundness. This is daddy prayer for all of us. None of us will die before our time. Sickness and diseases will not take over your life in Jesus Name. Because if you are not fit, you cannot fulfill destiny. If you are not fit, you cannot fight and win battles of life. If you are not fit, you will misfit in the corridor of Progress and you cannot live long.

The way God designed the human body, we need to pay attention to what He said we should do in order to be living a healthy life.

4. There must also be dominion in the area of our fears. Some of us cannot go out for any endeavour. But listen to 2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of sound mind.

You must be courageous  knowing that God is backing you up.

5. There must be dominion over your family – you need to have a good and sound family.

Your family must be devoted to God. There must be “Divine Love” in your family and there must be discipline.

As we conclude, there is a man in the bible aside Jesus Christ that exercises Complete Dominion. We are talking of Joseph.

Look at the life of Joseph. He exercised Complete Dominion when he was in the house of Portiphar – whatever he was given to do, he was exercising Complete Dominion. The one not under him, like Portiphar’s wife; he was not ruling and reigning over that.

… So you should always remembers his story.

Wherever you are operating now, you should exercise Complete Dominion in your sphere of influence. And God will now be expanding your scope. Look at the case of Joseph in Genesis 37:8 – And his brethren said him, shalt thou indeed reign over us? Or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams and for his words.

People may hate you but don’t allow their hatred to hinder you from exercising your dominion.

In spite of all these hatred; look at what happened to Joseph in Egypt in Genesis 37: 13-26:

1. He has Complete Dominion over their purses (money) – Genesis 47: 13-14.

2. He has Complete Dominion over their possessions – Genesis 47: 15-17.

3. He has Complete Dominion over their properties – Genesis 47: 18-20.

4. He has Complete Dominion over their persons (individuals) – Geneso 47: 19-21.

5. He has Complete Dominion over their positions (he was determining who was supposed to be where and where they are supposed to be) – Genesis 47:21.

6. He has Complete Dominion over their productions – Genesis 47: 23-26.

7. He has Complete Dominion over their politics and powers.

… When you have dominion in all of these seven (7) areas then we can say that you are exercising Complete Dominion.

… And I see a great Youth emerging in this Nation and in the body of Christ – they will be exercising dominion in areas of money and management. Am seeing a great people emerging.

Daddy prayer is that none of us will disappoint God.

There are certain secrets that made Joseph to exercise dominion:

1. He has favour with God – Genesis 39: verse 4 and verse 21.

2. He has Fellowship with God – Genesis 37:5.

3. Faithfulness in handling responsibilities – Genesis 37:2.

4. He has the Fear of God – Genesis 39: 7-24

5. Fortitude and Endurance.

6. Filled with God’s Spirit.

7. Forgiving Nature.

God is today reminding us that we too can exercise Complete Dominion.

Daddy knows that some of us are doing our own very best in one area or the other. But from today, you will not only be exercising dominion in your workplace alone but in your faith, finance, healthwise and even in your future by the Grace of  God.

If you know that you are the one am talking of; rise up, shake your legs and shout Hallelujah!

Daddy prayer is that this Ignite Program will ignite the fire and passion in you that will make you to be exercising Complete Dominion – Managerial and Administrative Dominion, Momentary Dominion, Medical Dominion, Material Dominion; until no part of your life will be left for the devil.

We are taking over the Political area in this Nation; we are taking over possessions in this Nation; we will be managing resources in this Nation in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

All Powers that had hitherto hindered believers from takingly their proper positions; such powers are rendered powerless now in the Name of Jesus.

From this Program, you will be taking your rightful positions. No power will stop you and no demon will stop you in the Name of Jesus. No manipulations of the devil will stop you. The level they said you will not reach you will reach them. Where they say that you will not get to, you will get there.

… If you believe that shout Hallelujah!

Let us Pray: Father, I pray that each and every Young Adults and Youths in this Nation, particularly the believers that in the course of this Program that you will Ignite them. That the Spirit and Grace in our lives will help us to be taking our proper positions of ruling and reigning from now on as we leave here exercising Full and Complete Dominion in all aspects of our life as you expect us doing.

In Jesus Name we pray … Amen!!!
