… Holy as the Lord – Repeat!

OPENING PRAYER

Father Almighty; the Holy One of Israel – We Worship You.

There is None like You – You are such a Wonderful God. Everything about You is Wonderful

Accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Father, we are Praying again that today; even as Your Words will be going forth – You will continue to Perform Wonders in all our Lives

That all those who are hearing or reading now on the Label of DMC this Message – Wherever they hear or read it Lord God Almighty; let there be Wonders in their Lives.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

We want to continue our discussions on the Wonders of our God.

And we be looking at: Psalms 62:11.

God hath Spoken once; twice have I heard this; that Power belongeth unto God.

I’m sure that you will be Probably thinking that I want to talk about: The Wonders of His Power again – But No!

I want to talk about: “THE WONDERS OF HIS SILENCE”.

… How Wonderful can it be when God is Silent?

You see: Our God is not a Talkative – He doesn’t have to be. Once He Speaks; it is done!

Psalms 33: 8-9 says: The reason the whole Earth should Fear God is because He Speaks and it is done.

I mean like in Genesis 1:3 – He simply said: Let there be Light and there was Light.

Our God is not a Talkative and He will also advise you not to be a Talkative.

Why? – Because in Silence is:

1. WISDOM.

If you learn to keep Silence, it is evidence of Wisdom.

Proverbs 29:11 says: A fool alters his Mind but the Wise will keep some of it back.

When you see Somebody always talking, talking; you know that: Here comes a fool.

2. In Silence, you have a Cover for Ignorance.

In order words, even if you are Ignorant; Provided you keep your mouth shut – Nobody is going to know.

The Bible says so in Proverbs 17:28 – It says: If the fool keeps his mouth shut, he is considered a Wise Man.

I mean: People are discussing some very deep things and you just keep quiet looking at them; they won’t know that you don’t even know what they are discussing.

Somebody says that: It is when a fool opens his mouth that everybody will know that they don’t even know.

3. In Silence is Strength.

According to Isaiah 30:15 – Silent People are Strong People.

The Elders has a saying:

I. Silence Water runs deep.

II. Shallow Water will make a lot of noise.

III. Empty Barrels makes the Most Noise.

… In Silence there is Strength.

4. In Silence; there is Protection against sin.

Proverbs 10:19 tells us that in the Multitude of words; there can’t be absence of sin.

… You keep talking, talking; you will sin.

But if you keep quiet; you will avoid unnecessary sin.

5. And you know what? – In Silence, there is Protection against Untimely Death.

If you learn to keep quiet; you might live long.

Why? – Proverbs 18:21 says: Death and Life are in the Power of the tongue.

And the Bible says: If you want to Prove that you are a “True Christian”; keep your mouth shut.

James 1:26 says: You want to talk about “True Religion”? – Bridle your tongue (Control your tongue).

Quite a few of my friends has said: Why are you always so silent?

… I talk when there is something to say.

So, our God is not a Talkative and when He repeats Himself; it means that the matter is very serious!

I. He will only Speak once.

II. If you hear what He said the Second (2nd) Time; it is the “Echo” that you are hearing.

… God has Spoken once, twice have I heard it! – The Second (2nd) Time is an “Echo”.

In John 3: 1-5; when he was talking to Nicodemus – He kept on saying: Verily, Verily.

He is telling Him: You know I’m not a Talkative; I’m talking to you about something very serious because you must be Born Again.

III. When God repeats Himself three (3) times; you know that the matter is “Dangerously Serious”.

I mean like in Joshua 1: 1-8 – Three (3) times He said to Joshua: Be Strong and of a Good Courage; Be Strong and of a Good Courage; Be Strong and of a Good Courage.

When He said it the third (3rd) time; there was a hint of Anger in His Voice – Have I not commanded you?

IV. So, when He repeats Himself four (4) times in the Scriptures – And He kept on saying: The Just shall Live by Faith; The Just shall Live by Faith; The Just shall Live by Faith; The Just shall Live by Faith.

… When God repeats Himself four (4) times – If you are wise; you will “Pay Absolute Attention”.

Oh, where did He says: “The Just shall Live by Faith” four (4) times?

Well in Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38.

… He kept on saying: The Just shall Live by Faith!

NOW, WHEN GOD IS SILENT; WHAT IS GOING ON?

1. It could be that He has Spoken concerning the Situation before and He is not going to contradict Himself.

… If He has Spoken once and now you are asking: God Speak! – He will said: I have Spoken.

For example in Genesis 15: 13-16; He told Abraham: Your children will be going to a “Strange Land” – They are going to be there for four hundred (400) Years.

After four hundred (400) Years; I will bring them out.

And then the children of Israel were there crying to God in Egypt – Oh Lord, we want to go.

He said: I have Spoken: Four hundred (400) Years will Pass.

And if you read Exodus 12: 40-41; the Bible said that the day the children of Israel left Egypt was exactly four hundred and thirty (430) Years.

Then somebody said: He said four hundred (400) Years? Why did He wait for four hundred and thirty (430) Years?

Oh, the first (1st) thirty (30) Years – They were enjoying; they were having fun in Egypt.

… And it was after; a King came on the Throne that didn’t know Joseph that Problem began.

So, when He is Silent; it could be that He has Spoken before and He is not going to say any other thing until the time that is Specified has come.

Let me tell someone who is listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC: What you have already heard from God, is going to come to Pass – Amen.

So, all you need to do is just Relax – If He has Spoken about something; well you can Trust Him.

2. It could be that He is waiting to “Roar” with Laughter.

… It may be that He wants to roar with Laughter – Maybe you don’t know that He can Laugh?

Well read Psalms 2: 1-4 – He was talking about some People Plotting against the Anointed of God (The children of Israel); He said: The One who seated in Heaven shall Laugh.

And then He says in Psalms 37: 12-15; He said: The wicked Plot against the Just but the Lord shall Laugh at them.

… So, when they are Plotting; He is not saying anything but a time is coming when He will Laugh!

Read Psalms 59: 1-8; it says that: The Mighty gathered against me when I have done nothing wrong.

… They just gang up against me. He said: Don’t worry, God is going to Laugh.

I give you an Illustration in Judges 15: 10-15.

When the Philistines decided to wage war against the children of Israel.

The children of Israel went to them and say: Why are you here? Why do you want to fight us?

They said: It was because of what Samson has done to us.

Oh, you mean that if we handover Samson to you; you will leave us alone? – They said: Yes.

Then they said: Okay.

So, the relatives of Samson went to meet Samson and they said: We want to hand you over to the enemies – Samson said: Just Promise that you won’t harm me yourself.

They said: No, we will bind you fast and hand you over to the enemies.

He said: Great!

So, they bound him and God was Silent.

They carried him from the Mountaintop to the Valley where the enemies were waiting – God did not say anything.

They laid him at the feet of the enemies – God was Silent.

Then the enemies began to rejoice and then God Laughed because God moved swiftly – And Samson got up; the ropes binding him caught up fire and he killed a thousand (1,000) of the enemies.

Those who were wise among the enemies fled.

At the end of the day; I mean I wish you were there: You could still hear God Laughing.

Because the enemies from Without were either destroyed or had fled.

And the enemies Within (The relatives who handed him over) were ashamed of themselves.

I have Good News for Someone – Someone who has been waiting to hear from God: Both the enemies Without and the enemies Within, the Almighty God is going to deal with them – Amen.

3. Then He could be Silent when He wants to Humble those who has said: Who is God?

In Psalms 115: 1-3; the Bible tells us that David was saying: God do something? – People were asking: Where is my God? Show them that You are still in Heaven and You do as You Pleases.

And we find a very Classical Example in Daniel 3: 13-30.

When King Nebuchadnezzar said to Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – Who is that God that will deliver you from my hand?

I am the one In Charge!

God was Silent.

He was Silent as they were increasing the heat of the Furnace seven (7) times other than before – He kept quiet.

He kept quiet as the Mighty Men were binding Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – God said Nothing.

He kept quiet as they were carrying them (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) into the “Fiery Furnace” – He didn’t say a word.

He was quiet until they threw the boys (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) and the boys (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) found out that: Oh, He didn’t Speak but He is already waiting for us here.

And you know that at the end of the Story – By the time the boys (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) came out; Nebuchadnezzar said with his own mouth: Ha, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

Nebuchadnezzar went forward to say: Don’t let anyone ever dare speak against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. If anybody does that; I will wipe that fellow out.

… Ha, God was Laughing!

And then Nebuchadnezzar turned to the boys and said: Well I think you deserved Promotion.

I am sure that when they were Promoted; it wasn’t only God that was Laughing – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were Laughing too!

And by the time this Season is over (This Pandemic Period); you will be Laughing – Amen.

4. God could be Silent or Quiet when He wants to end all your Problems once and for all.

In Philippians 1:6; the Bible says: He who has began a Good Work in your Life will Perform it.

In Psalms 138:8; the Bible says: The Lord will Perfect that which concerns me.

And we find a Classical Example in Daniel 6: 1-end – You know the Story.

How some People gang together to Plot against Daniel because God wanted to make him Number One (1).

And they Planned and they said: Let us trick the King into Signing a Decree that would Permanently Put an end to Daniel – God said Nothing.

God was there when they were holding their Meetings – He said Not a Word.

But you see: When you look at the Story of Daniel; you will noticed that the devil tried before to kill Daniel:

I. A King has a dream, forget the dream and said that all the Wise Men should be killed.

… Daniel was one of the Wise Men – The devil failed.

II. Then came Daniel Chapter 3 – You can be sure that Daniel did not bow down to the Idol. Only for one reason or the other; those who were able to capture Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did not look in the direction of Daniel then.

The devil tried in Daniel Chapter 2; tried in Daniel Chapter 3 and then they want to try again in Daniel Chapter 6 – God said: Ha, Ha; Enough is Enough!

They took Daniel, threw him into the den of lions – God saw all the activities of the King to deliver him but God said Nothing.

By the time that the Story was over; Daniel came out of the den of lions; all his enemies (All of them – Wife and children) replaced him in the den of lions.

You know that God made a Promise in Isaiah 54:15 – He said that: They will gather against you but not of Me. And He said: All those who gathered against you will fall because of you – Amen.

Do you know that after Daniel came out of the den of lions; nobody ever troubled him again?

And I believed that God is Speaking to Someone – He is saying that: Your Problems will be over now on a Permanent basis – Amen.

And when you read Proverbs 11:8; there is a Law there called: “THE LAW OF SUBSTITUTION”.

The Bible says that: The Righteous is delivered out of trouble; the wicked goes in his stead.

… God delivered Daniel out of trouble; his enemies replaced him.

When God is Silent; He wants to apply: “THE LAW OF RESTITUTION”.

And do you know that at the end of the day; the only People rejoicing were the friends of Daniel.

… The King rejoiced: Daniel, the Servant of the Most High God; has the God that you served been able to deliver you?

Daniel said: And The King lives forever: I’m here!

The Bible said that the King was glad.

I’m Praying for Someone that from now on; all those who wish you well will have cause to rejoice – Amen.

5. God may be Silent because He wants to do something Great for you.

But what He wants to do for you is tied to the Destiny of another Person.

In which case: He will Silently wait until the Destiny of the “Other Fellow” could be fulfilled along with yours.

For example in Luke 1: 5-20.

If you ask the Bible Scholars – From the Old Testament to the New Testament; God was Silent for Four Hundred (400) Years.

… There was not a Single Word of Prophesy – God didn’t Speak to anybody for Four Hundred (400) Years.

Then suddenly, He Spoke to Zachariah – Zachariah was there Ministering.

If you read that Passage: Zachariah and Elizabeth; they were very Righteous People – They are doing the Will of God.

And they have ben crying to God for a baby for many years but God kept quiet.

Why? – Because the baby that God wanted to give them is to be – “The Voice in the Wilderness saying; Prepare the Way of the Lord” (John 1: 19-23).

The baby that God had Planned for them (Zachariah and Elizabeth) is to come only six (6) Months before Jesus Chest was born.

So, no matter how much they cried; God said: You have to wait for your boy is going to be only six (6) Months older than My Boy.

… So, you have to wait!

But He assured them: Your boy will be the Greatest of the Old Testament Era – Matthew 11:11.

… Of all the men born of a woman in the Old Testament; there is none Greater than John The Baptist!

6. God may be Silent because He is Waiting to Announce You.

Do you know that when the Lord Jesus Christ was born; Angels announced His Birth – Luke 2: 1-14.

Then the Shepherd who heard that announcement in Luke 2: 15-18 – The Shepherd went and told everybody: Hey, this is what we saw o. Angels visited us.

You can be sure that many People didn’t believed them.

And then in Luke 2: 25-35; there was this Great Prophet called Simeon – He also said: Here comes the One who is going to bring Salvation of the Lord.

And then we found out that in the same Luke 2: 36-38; we have Hannah who has been living in the Temple all these Years – She also said: Hey, the One born here is going to be Mighty.

And then in John 1: 28-31; John The Baptist said: Hey, behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.

But if you Study your Bible very carefully; you will find out that God Himself didn’t say a Word Angels announced Him – Well done Angels; Shepherds announced Him – Thank You Shepherds; Simeon, Hannah – Well done; John The Baptist – Thank You.

After thirty (30) Years in Matthew 3: 16-17; the Almighty God Himself now Spoke as Jesus Christ was coming out of the Water after He has been Baptized: This is my Beloveth Son in whom I’m well Pleased.

Now, when God announces you; you are Announced!

When God decides to say: Hey, this is my Beloveth; it doesn’t matter what anybody may say on their own – Once He announces you; you are Announced – Amen.

I have a feeling that after this Lockdown et cetera, et cetera; the Almighty God is going to announce Someone – Amen and announce him to the whole world – Amen.

You know: David has been anointed King among his Brethren – 1 Samuel 16: 11-13 but he was a King within the family.

And I’m sure that even some of the brothers didn’t quite agreed that he is King.

As a matter of fact; when he is finished being anointed; he still went back to be looking after the Sheep and Goat.

But then came 1 Samuel 17: 1-end; the father said: Take some foods to your brothers in the battlefronts. The boy was just going to obey his father and delivered food to his brothers. He didn’t know that God is about to announce him.

Before the day was over; everybody knew that this Person is different – They knew that without being told that: Here comes our New King.

Because if you will remember when they were coming from the slain of the Philistines; the women began to sing.

Do you know the Song they sang: Saul has slain in thousands; but David in ten thousands.

… Here comes a King that is going to be ten (10) times Greater than the Fellow who is still on the Throne.

When God’s Time is ripe; He will announce you – Amen.

Let me conclude and this is very, very serious.

7. God can be Silent because you are not Desperate.

Ha, what do you mean sir?

Do you know that there are all kinds of Prayers:

I. There are Prayers you Pray with your hands in your Pocket; talking as if you are talking to your friends, your colleagues.

II. There are Prayers that you Pray that you will forget who you think you are – When you are really Desperate.

Let me give you just one (1) example before I released you to Pray.

2 Kings 4: 1-7 – I have told you about the Widow before and you know the Story. The Widow of one of the sons of the Prophet.

The husband was a Great Man of God – I’m sure that the woman was a Good Worshipper of the Almighty.

She was heavily in debt and everyday when everybody saw her: Sister, how are you?

… All is fine. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.

And the Creditors has been coming: When will you Pay?

Ha, I will Pay – Don’t worry. The Lord will Supply all my Needs according to His Riches in Glory.

One day, the Creditors came and say: Twenty Four (24) Hours – Either you Pay or we sell your children.

Ha, that day when they saw Sister running to the house of Elisha: Sister, how are you?

She said: All is not well – I’m in trouble.

All the time that she has been in debt; God knew – She was the wife of one of His Servant.

God sat in Heaven, looking down from above – God did Nothing because the woman was able to Manage.

The day she said: No! – No more living in Fear. The day she cried; that was the day God moved.

When you Pray the Prayer of a “Desperate Person”; God will answer and answer immediately.

There are some Prayers that you Pray that God just must answer that day – And God Himself will know that you mean business.

I can give you several examples from my Life – I will give you just one (1). You Probably must have heard it before.

The Convention was near several years ago; Volunteers came from all our Churches to come and Help me Prepare the Campground for those who are coming.

And then I was going round – Making sure that all was alright. From morning till evening; I was on my feet.

I returned home that night very tired and told my wife that I’m very tired and I want to sleep – Children, come and let us Pray.

They gathered together, we Pray the kind of Prayer you Pray when you are tired.

My wife said: We have not even done any singing.

I said: Let us Pray – I’m the Head of the family. Everybody kneel down and let us Pray: Father, Thank You for today; see You tomorrow!

And I went to bed – I mean I was so tired; I couldn’t remove my dress. I just hit the bed like that and almost immediately, I was asleep.

Few minutes into my sleep; my wife came and knock on the door: Darling, why are you doing this? I told you that I am tired.

She said: One (1) of the Volunteers is dead and it is the one from your Village.

And several things began to go through my Head – I know what my People will say: You said she died on your Camp? How did she died? Oh, so you are waiting for Someone that you will use to make charm for Success.

I could think of several things that they could say.

I ran to where she was lying down on the Ground. I called a few Prayer Warriors who were with us then and we began to Pray all manners of Prayers.

And on an occasion like that; you don’t even Pay attention to Grammar – We Prayed “Desperate Prayers”.

After some time; the Almighty God Spoke.

He will Speak to you today – Amen.

And said: I thought you said that you are tired?

I said: Tired! – Laughter!

I am not tired anymore.

He said: Send the Prayer Warriors away; I want to talk to you. You are the one I want to talk to.

At least now, He was Speaking – Glory be to God, I knew He heard me.

Sent the Prayer Warriors away and by the time we finished Speaking; I looked at the woman – She was no longer dead but breathing like Someone who is in a Deep Sleep.

Has God been Silent to you? Will you call on Him desperately today? – He will Answer (Amen).

ALTAR CALL

The Only Fellow who will cry to Him and He will not receive an answer; is the one who refuses to surrender his or her Life to Jesus Christ.

Because the Only cry that He will hear from a sinner is: Lord have Mercy on me, save my Soul, let Your Blood wash away my sin.

So, if you are listening to me now or reading now on the Label of DMC and you have not yet surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ; you better do so now.

Cry unto Him for Mercy and His Blood will wash away your sins. And all your Prayers will be answered by Fire.

Shall we bow our Heads!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER.

Ancient of Days; I want to Thank You for all those who are crying to You right now – Asking for Salvation.

Remember Your Promise that whosoever will cone to You; You will no wise cast out.

These People will come to You now crying to You now, crying to You for Salvation desperately asking You to save their Souls – Please Lord: Receive them, Forgive them, Save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins.

Please, write their names in the Book of Life; receive them into the Family of God.

And anytime they call on You from now on; Father Please answer them by Fire

Now, I’m calling on You Father on behalf of all Your children – As many of them that will cry to You in desperation today; this very day answer them, grant their requests.

Oh Lord God Almighty; as a result of their Prayers of today; let there be a Multiple of Testimonies.

Thank You my Father; Glory be to Your Holy Name.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
