We pray that the Miracle of God will never cease in the lives of all our Minstrels, in the Name of Jesus -:Amen.

OPENING PRAYER

Holy, Faithful and Perfect God! We bow our head, we bow our hearts before You.

We want to THANK YOU and Worship Your Name for who You are!

Lord Almighty, Thank You for Your WORD that is unfailing!

Thank You for Your GLORY – that is always there!

Thank You because You are the only One that has the continuity of life; because You don’t have beginning and You will have no ending.

… We say Thank You!

What a Good God, what a Mighty God! And we say to You: GLORY BE TO YOUR NAME; in the Name of Jesus!

Father, we have come today, even to the Table of God for Digging Deep; we ask that You Yourself will take us DEEPER, and DIG DEEP for us that we may know the Counsel of God.

These PERILOUS TIMES we are in, please, teach us how to really navigate in Perfection, in Holiness, and be Faithful to You.

I pray, committing all my faculty and the people who are watching and listening to You (and those reading on the Label of DMC); that I will not do violence to Your Word but Your Word will bring Peace and Joy.

In areas where there is REBUKE, Your Word also, will do it with LOVE.

We Thank You Father!

Holy Spirit, this is Your Business – Take over, and take the Glory!

Let there be Salvation, let there be Restoration and let there be Restitution.

To You be Glory, Honour and PRAISE.

… Thank You for hearing our Prayers!

For all the people who need the TOUCH of God; TOUCH them today and let there be Revival in their Spirit, Soul and Body. Let there be Healing, and let there be Peace in their Homes!

Thank You for hearing; in Jesus’ Mighty Name we pray – Amen!

Let somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

We want to Bless the Name of the Lord once again for the Privilege that we have from our father in the Lord, to come and do what we are doing here.

Daddy, we want to appreciate you sir. And we pray that the Lord of Heaven, will continue to Bless your life;

From Glory to Glory, God will take you. And our Mummy too. In Jesus’ Name – Amen!

Today, because we have received several Letters, saying something about Perilous Times;

Sometimes, we did a Study, but not really as we would be doing today!

So, we will be talking about: THE PERILOUS TIMES.

And I want to read from 2 Timothy 3:1-10 (but Verses 1- 15 would be the ideal Passage to read). But I am going to stop at Verse 10.

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their’s also was.

10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

May the Lord bless the reading and hearing of His Words, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

The importance of Prophecies and Warnings against PERILOUS TIMES cannot be overemphasized; because we are living in the era of the fulfilment of Perilous Times.

So the Purpose of this Digging Deep is to further show us what we need to move away from; and how we can further our commitment to HOLINESS and BIBLE CHRISTIANITY.

It is either WE STAND OUT; or we GO DOWN with the PERILOUS TIMES.

But my PRAYER is that NONE of us will go down with PERILOUS TIMES, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

We must fight for our Soul, we must fight for the Soul of others.

And we must be able to STAND OUT like DANIEL – who determined in Daniel 1:8, not to defile himself with the King’s meat.

We must be able to do like the Three (3) Hebrew Boys, who said: we are not going to bow down to the Idol of the King.

We must do like Daniel – A decree was rolled out that people should not pray. He said No – I cannot but PRAY.

We are going to to break the Study into four (4) different Segments.

1. CAUTION against the Perilous Times.
2. The CHARACTERS of the Perilous Times.
3. The CURE for the Perilous Times.
4. The CHARGE about the Perilous Times.

They all start with the letter ‘C’ – CAUTION, CHARACTER, CURE AND CHARGE.

NO. ONE (1) SEGMENT: CAUTION AGAINST THE PERILOUS TIMES. It is 2 Timothy 3:1. It says:

“This know also, that in the last days Perilous Times shall come.”

The word ‘PERILOUS’ means: VERY DANGEROUS…

… We are living in a very dangerous time – Full of RISK (very risky time) HAZARDOUS, HARMFUL, DREADFUL, DEADLY (to be avoided).

So, the Last Days began at Pentecost and will continue until the Second Coming of Jesus.

The Last Days (PERILOUS TIMES) will be Characterised by SEVEN (7) THINGS:

1. Acceleration or an Intensification of evil in the world.

In 2 Peter 3:3, the Bible says: “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the Last Days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,”

In 1 John 2:18, the Apostle of Love said: “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”

2. A widespread of collapse of Moral Structure of the Family and of the Society in General.

… I am talking about what Characterises the Last Days.

People are not respecting Marriage again. It doesn’t really matter! They want to come in and quit the next day.

It is unthinkable in our day; I mean, when I started as a Christian I didn’t know what was ‘CO-HABIT.’

But now, it is been Practiced! And it is the spirit of the Last Days.

3. A Grievous and Trying Time for God’s True Servants and Believers.

Trying Time! Jesus, when talking to His Disciples said: if their days are not cut short, even Believers would be deceived.

Because the LOVE of many will WAX COLD.

4. Hypocritical Lives and False Doctrines and False Religion.

All Kind of things! The Social Media has helped us to see some of the very, very ungodly things going on (in the name of Christianity).

… Lots of atrocities are there on the internet!

5. A Mighty End time Outpouring of the Holy Spirit IN and THROUGH the Church that has Passion for Jesus.

REVIVAL! I mean, Powerful Revival for the Church that has Passion for Evangelism.

6. A Release of Greater Grace and Power for Believers and Churches who hold fast to the Original Faith

A release of Greater Grace! In Acts 4:33 (NKJV), “And with great Power the Apostles gave Witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And Great Grace was upon them all.”

In Romans 5:20, “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, Grace did much more abound:”

… One (1) of the things that characterize the Perilous Times is that;

7. The LOVE of many will WAX COLD.

Many are saying, it is okay! We serve God in our Spirit.

But I pray today (as you read this on the Label of DMC): The Spirit of the LAST DAY, will never find expressions in your life, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

NO. TWO (2) SEGMENT: THE CHARACTERS OF THE PERILOUS TIMES.

… We can find that in 2 Timothy 3:2-4.

Now, it is the conduct of the People who will create the PERILOUS TIMES.

Now, when we are talking about the Characters, we are talking about CONDUCTS of the people who will create the Perilous Times.

According to our Text (2 Timothy 3:1-15) there are nine (9) things that the Bible mentioned.

I will mention them quickly (because they are already stated there):

1. Lover of their own Self – That is in verse 2.

Selfish and Self Centeredness is the RULE of all destructive behaviour.

… Me, Myself and I.”

2. Covetous: having lust of the eyes, craziness for wealth and materialism.

People are getting and getting and getting today and they are never satisfied.

In 1976, they conducted a Research about CONTENTMENT. And as at that time, they said:

An average person (not everybody); because from the Generality there is always an exception.

An average person (not everybody) has about Nine Hundred (900) Needs.

Now, they repeated that after ten (10) years. They said:

The same average person needs about Nine Thousand (9,000) things.

The one they did recently (maybe 2 years ago), they said:

An average person (in the Generation we live) needs about Thirty Thousand (30,000) different things to get satisfied.

We are in a Generation that is getting (and they are never satisfied). COVETOUSNESS!

3. Boasters (Proud, High Mindedness).

Self Praise and advertisement due to Possession, Position and Power.

‘Ah, we are the ones, no one else.’

4. Disobedient to Parents:

They disrespect and dishonour Godly Parents (both Biological and Spiritual).

… All these are written in 2 Timothy 3:2.

5. Unthankful and Unholy:

Not appreciating God in their lives; not Praising Him to please Him.

There is nothing that was not given to us by God – So give God all the Glory, give Him all the Praise.

6. Without Natural Affection:

Truce Breakers, Traitors, no family affection and lack of Tender Love.

How can a father leave home – abandoning their children with his wife?

Why can a wife just walk away from home, doing her own thing. In the name of ‘not being satisfied by the husband)?

… Because there is no Natural Affection.

Treacherous and betraying true friendship. According to 2 Timothy 3:2.

They are people who betray true friendship. You can’t rely on them: When they tell you they are coming, they are going!

When they tell you: I will see you by 1 O’clock, add another day! That’s when you will see them.

7. False Accusers.

Blasphemers, Dispersers, all form of lies, evil speaking, Character Assassination against Believers and Godliness.

Some people twist words. According to 2 Timothy 3:3.

8. Lovers of Pleasures than God.

All form of immorality and ungodliness that gratifies the flesh – 2 Timothy 3:4

All form of immorality!

And it is very rampant in our Generation. Some times when you are going on the street, you feel like closing your eyes because of the Billboards used for Advertisements.

I mean, they use sex in advertising almost everything. The Telecommunications Company are not exempted.

Thank God for Christianity!

I pray today: Everything that Pollutes will never find expressions in your heart, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

9. Having a form of Godliness without Power.

They are very Religious, but not Victorious above sin! They come to Church, but they are never set free from sin.

They have Outward look of Godliness; looking like somebody that is Holy. But inside, they are rotten (in unrighteousness) – 2 Timothy 3:5.

So, what are we really saying?

So many things, so many Characters are found in Perilous Times.

I pray, that you will not be Part of the people we have mentioned – Amen.

And if you are there: there is Hope – The Blood of Jesus is there to cleanse.

NO. THREE (3) SEGMENT: THE CURE FOR THE PERILOUS TIMES.

… And you can find that in 2 Timothy 3:5-9.

What are the CURES?

1. We must receive the Prophecies and the Warnings to be conscious of it at all times.

Let the warnings of the Bible guide your Steps, guide your Conducts. guide your Thoughts, guide your Actions.

In 2 Timothy 3:1, the Bible says: “This know also, that in the Last Days Perilous Times shall come.”

That’s a warning, to be careful, to be Watchful.

2. We must separate ourselves from the company and Fellowship of Christians with shady Characters.

Boasters, lover of self; all the nine (9) characters that 2 Timothy 3:2-5 mentioned.

In 2 Corinthians 6:17, it says: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”

God is warning you and I to come out!

3. We must avoid Carnal Christianity and False Doctrines.

They showed me a Picture on my WhatsApp the other day; of someone taking his bath in a drum, and was serving the bath water to people.

I said to myself: Come on, when had Christianity become all these?

Another person was lying on a woman right on the Podium. And he said that was what the ‘Spirit’ said he should do.

Only God knows what kind of Spirit – Openly in the Church!

Now, look at what the Bible says in 2 Peter 2:1. It says:

“But there were False Prophets also among the people, even as there shall be False Teachers among you, who privity shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

… who PRIVILY: that is SECRETLY; with STYLE and EVIL METHOD.

We must avoid carnal Christianity and False Doctrines.

People can no longer withstand Real Doctrine – When last did we talk about RESTITUTION?

You have heard my father in the Lord Teach on RESTITUTION; yet you still have stolen items in your home.

They are accursed things – Just like the thing that cut short the life of Achan.

Return them!

4. End Time Believers and Ministers must distant themselves from False Teachers.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 and Titus 3:10-11 are talking about moving away from False Teachers.

Don’t even give them a hand of Fellowship – Because you need just a drop of poison on delicious meal to contaminate it.

5. We must STAND FIRM in the Apostolic Faith once Delivered to the Saints.

Jude 1: 3 says, you should stand FIRM on the Faith which was once delivered to you!

That’s the way: Standing on the Promises of God and on the Rock of Ages.

6. We must be WATCHFUL and be PRAYERFUL to guide against Deception and Temptation to sin.

1 Corinthians 16:13 “Watch ye, stand fast in the Faith, quit you like men, be strong.”

2 Timothy 4:5 also says the same thing: “But watch thou in ALL THINGS, endure afflictions,”

We need to Watch, I need to Watch, Brother/Sister, you need to WATCH!

And I pray that the Spirit and Grace to be WATCHFUL; the Almighty God will deliver to us today, in the Name of Jesus. – Amen.

7. We must release ourselves to the Holy Spirit and be sensitive to His Leading.

The Great Teacher Himself, the Truth and Life said the Holy Spirit will lead us into all Truth – John 14:6.

Let us be Sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is saying.

And I pray that the Water, the Ocean, the Flood, the Storm of PERILOUS TIMES will never take us away from the Bosom of the Lord, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

NO. FOUR (4) SEGMENT: WHAT ARE THE CHARGE ABOUT THE PERILOUS TIMES.

Now read on your own, 2 Timothy 3:10-15.

Now, the Charge of Paul to Timothy (and Believers in General) is to live the Kingdom lifestyle – Just like Noah did in his Perilous Days.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:37, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Remember, Noah represents the Church.

Genesis 6:8 says: “But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

The reason Noah found Grace was because he lived a Kingdom Lifestyle.

And everyone who would survive these Perilous Times, would need to live the lifestyle of the Kingdom.

And there are five (5) Charges to learn from Noah.

… five (5) is the Number of Grace, you know that!

1. Noah was a Just (Righteous) Man.

You are charged to do the same.

Moral, right or justifiable; following moral and religious Laws -‘You have to be upright, acting right.

For you to find Grace in the sight of the Lord, you must live the Kingdom lifestyle.

And you must be Just: regardless of what the of the society may be doing – You need to hold the Banner of HOLINESS.

You must do right things RIGHT, wrong things WRONG.

That’s Number One (1): Noah was a Just Man.

And the Charge of Paul to Timothy (and to us by extension): we must be JUST.

2. Noah was Perfect in his Generation.

I have heard people saying, it is not Possible to live a Holy life, it is not Possible to live right!

Then, you are invariably saying: it is not Possible for you to make Heaven.

… And I want to make Heaven.

Without HOLINESS, no one shall see the Lord. And no unclean thing will ever enter the Kingdom.

Noah was Perfect in his Generation. He was without spot or blemish.

He has his weakness, but he was Perfect – As far as God is concern, he was above reproach.

You have to live the Kingdom lifestyle in these Perilous Times – Your Character must be SOLID.

Everyone who wants to live Perfect in this Generation must be ACCOUNTABLE to someone.

This is where I pity those who don’t want to stay under Authority.

Somebody said: ‘You are too afraid of your Leader!’

What else do you want me to do? You want me to take unholy boldness and confront the people God has Anointed and Appointed over me?

No! You should read the Bible.

So, you must be Perfect in your Generation.

3. Noah listened to God – He listened.

Everyone that must Survive, everyone that must Conquer, everyone that must an Overcomer in these Perilous Times; you must Listen to God.

He that has an ear; the Word says: Let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.

If you want to hear God, you must learn to be still (quiet) before Him.

If you talk too much, you won’t be able to listen -:Just like in a conversation; you cannot hear others, when you are talking.

You need to be QUIET in other to hear God.

If you want to hear Him speak; you must be QUIET, and you must be focused to hear what He is saying.

Joshua 1:18, talks about the Word of God.

The Book of Deuteronomy 28:1 says “if you hearken DILIGENT…”

You to to HEARKEN to God! Listen to God’s correction.

4. Noah was Obedient.

We too must be Obedient!

We are living a world where people just want to do what they want to do.

Noah did what God told him to do inspite of what the world thought.

They will call you stupid, foolish, unwise – They will call you all kinds of names.

The word ‘OBEDIENT’ is defined as: “COMPLIANCE to the PLAN, CONFORMITY to the PATTERN, OBSERVANT to the RULES, ADHERENCE to the STANDARD and SUBMISSION to another WILL.”

Obedience is the bottom line in Christian life:

• Obey those who have rule over you;
• obey the Laws of God.

The Book of Isaiah 1:18-19 says;

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

19 If ye be willing and OBEDIENT, ye shall eat the Good of the land:

You need Obedience!

We are living in a world, everybody wants to be the Boss, the Head.

But anyone who wants to overcome; the Charge is that you need to be obedient.

5. Noah had Faith in God

In Hebrews 11:7, it says: “By Faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, Prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by Faith.”

And remember, Hebrews 11:6 says: “But without Faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

There are three (3) things in Noah’s Faith:

And three (3) is the Number of FULLNESS :

The PAST, the PRESENT and the FUTURE.

Father, Son and the Holy Spirit!

Dead, Burial and Resurrection.

And there were three (3) deaths at Calvary;

• Death IN sin,
• Death TO sin, and
• Death FOR sin.

So, three (3) about Noah’s Faith:

1. Noah based his Faith upon the Word of God.

The Faith of Noah was BASED on the Word of God: He was DIVINELY WARNED.

So, all the Warning you will ever need in life is in the Bible.

Whether you have your Bible in the System on your hand; or you have it on Paper; the warning is there!

2. Noah’s Faith was involved in things not yet SEEN.

Noah had never seen a worldwide Judgement, but he Believed.

He has never seen, but he BELIEVED!

3. Noah’s Faith MOVED him to Action.

It was not a Passive Faith; it was an ACTIVE FAITH.

… He MOVED to action!

Apostle Paul’s Charge to Timothy, as a Believers is: To examine his own life carefully; and follow examples of: Good Doctrines, Manners of life, Purpose, Faith, Longsuffering, Charity (Love), Patience, Persecution and Affection.

May I say this: Every Believers, Workers and Christian must continue steadfastly in what they have learnt – 2 Timothy 3:14-15,

And like Timothy, we are surrounded by False Teachers and False Doctrines but we must not allow the Society to distort or cloud God’s Eternal Truth in us.

There is an example of a man who has a Parrot that goes everywhere with him. And and the man went to the Club on Saturday with his Parrot.

… And you know Parrots talk a lot.

They got to there, the Parrot didn’t say anything. They returned home; the Parrot didn’t say anything.

The man said to the Parrot: You didn’t say anything!

The Parrot said: When we get to Church tomorrow, I will have what to say.

And they went to Church on Sunday. The Parrot saw the same people it saw in the Club House the Previous night (in the Church). It didn’t talk!

When they got home, its owner said, you haven’t said anything. It said: I don’t have any comment!

But now that you ask me to talk: I was thinking there should be a difference between those at the Club House and those who go to Church.

Because I found the same people who were hailing the devil at the Club House, using the same mouth to say something to God.

… There should be a DIFFERENCE!

No wonder 2 Corinthians 5:17 says; “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a New Creature: Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become New”

Let me conclude: These are PERILOUS TIMES; every Believers that wants to get to Heaven must HEED the Warning.

Be careful to live a SEPARATE life from the world and False Brethren, in order to please God.

I don’t know about you, but I am determined to live the Kingdom Lifestyle.

These Perilous Times, after it is over; I want to have Testimony that: I have found Grace in the sight of the Lord

So that I can say like Paul: I have fought a Good fight of Faith, and I am reigning with my Father at last.

I want to hear God saying to me: Well done, Good and Faithful Servant – enter into the Joy of your Lord.

ALTAR CALL

To escape that, you need to be Born Again!

And if you are Born Again, you need to focus on what we have said today.

Let’s bow our head, and say: Lord, I need Your Help, Your Grace, Your Anointing. I can’t do it by myself. I depend on You.

And if you want to give your life to CHRIST, I just want you to pray wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC.

… I am going to pray with you now.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER.

Eternal Father, everyone making confession about their sins today;

Deliver them, Save them and bring them into the Kingdom.

For all those who are already Born Again and are tracing their steps back to God; some of them who are confessing their sins; some of them who are caught in the web of the Perilous Times: I pray that this day, You will RESTORE THEM. The Spirit of RESTORATION will come into their lives.

All of us who are Standing; give us the Grace to be able to make it.

And when the Roll is CALL UP in Heaven, may we be able to hear the Trumpet Sound.

These Perilous Times will not swallow us, it will not swallow our Christianity but we will make it over there!

Thank You Eternal Father!

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we pray – Amen!

Now, we want to pray on your Offering, because your Service is not complete until offering is given.

… Please, you know what to do!

PRAYER FOR OFFERING

Father in Heaven, we declare that You don’t have a Need but we are the ones we need to sow Seed to be able to reap an harvest.

Everyone holding something in their hands: Please Jehovah God, Bless them!

Receive the Offering, and return it to them in multiple folds.

And in the Kingdom of the Righteous, don’t let anyone of us be missing.
