    GENERAL PRAYERS

    1. Let’s worship the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Ancient of Days. Bless His Holy Name, give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration.

    Praise God – He is worthy to be Praised, He is worthy to be Adored, He is worthy to be Magnified. Praise the Owner of the Earth, the Owner of the Fullness thereof, Praise the One who never fails.

    Thank Him for all He has done for you since the Beginning of the Year, Praise Him for Preservation, Praise Him for Healing, for Health, for Promotion, for Protection – He is worthy to be Praised, He is worthy to be Adored. Bless His Holy Name.

    Thank You Father. Glory be to Your Holy Name.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    1. Now, I want you to Pray for all our Rulers at every Levels.

    That the One who Himself is called “The Burden Bearer” will help these People to carry their own Burdens.

    They have been carrying the Burdens of Kingdoms, of States, of the Nations but they have their own Burdens.

    Let’s cry to God that the Almighty God will carry their Burdens for them – Their Individual Burdens, Burdens at Home, Burdens over their children, Physical Burdens, Materia Burdens, Spiritual Burdens.

    Pray that “The Burden Bearer” Himself will Help and Assist them.

    Go ahead and cry to the Lord.

    Thank You Father.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    1. Let us Pray that the Almighty God will give them Wisdom, He will give them Understanding, He will give them Directions from Heaven so that they will be able to rule us aright.

    Pray that God will give them “Special Divine Enablement” – Strengthen them, Stand by them.

    Go ahead, talk to the Almighty God.

    Thank You forever Oh Lord.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    1. Brethren, when David made a mistake and God decided to fight; there were thousands of People in Israel that died – Not a Single one in the Palace.

    Let us cry to God and say: Father, don’t let our Rulers make mistakes. Because if they do, we are the ones who will suffer.

    Please Lord, don’t let them make mistakes. Help them Lord – Direct their Actions, direct their Thoughts.

    Thank You Father. Glory be to Your Holy Name.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    1. Now, you are going to Pray for yourself.

    You are going to cry to Him and say: Father, another Year is coming to an End, fulfill Your Promises for me.

    We are in October already Lord; another Year is about to End; Please fulfill Your Promises to me.

    Thank You Lord.

    OPENING PRAYER

    Father Almighty – The All Sufficient God, Jehovah El-Shaddai, the One who lives forever, the One who can do anything, the Great Burden Bearer – Accept our worship in Jesus Name.

    Thank You for January Lord, Thank You for February, Thank You for March, Thank You for April, Thank You for May, Thank You for June, Thank You for July, Thank You for August, Thank You for September and now Thank You for October – Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

    It is of Your Mercy that we are not consumed – There are many People who says Happy New Year with us that are no more.

    That we are still alive today Thank You – Thank You for Preservation, Thank You for Your Provisions, Thank You for Your Support – Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

    Father today, we Your Children across the whole world are in one Accord and we are crying unto You for our Leaders – Oh, we are always quick to criticize them but we forget that they have their own Problems too.

    Oh, Great Burden Bearer, bear their Burdens for them.

    Whatever may be their Individual Problems – Whether Physical, Material, Spiritual, Marital or otherwise; Please Lord solve all their Problems; Support them, Defend them, Fight their battles for them.

    In their various Domains my Father and my God, send them Help and give them Wisdom, Understanding and don’t let them make mistakes so that we don’t suffer.

    And Lord, Please this Year is going to an End; there are so many Promises You made for us, that You Prophesied into our lives since the beginning of the Year (2021). Before this Year ends Father answer us, fulfill Your Promises.

    And Lord, all Your Children who has been Faithful in the Payment of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings; this Month embarrass them – With Your Blessings, embarrass them.

    The kind of Blessings that they will say: God this is too much, Father give unto them.

    And Lord God Almighty, in the lives of everyone of Your Children all over the world, let this Month be a Month of Miracles.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    Let someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

    Wave your hands to one (1) or two (2) People and say: Good Morning, God Bless You.

    And then you may Please be seated.

    We are delighted to welcome the Number One (1) Citizen of Lagos State to our midst today – God Bless You sir, God Bless You ma.

    And we are delighted to welcome all our Royal Fathers too.

    And so that I don’t miss anybody; we are delighted to welcome all our Brothers and Sisters to Church this Morning – God Bless You (Amen).

    And in case anyone is here saying that we didn’t hear you Pray for Nigeria; we have done that on October 1st at the Holy Ghost Service (HGS). And we know God has already heard us.

    Whether the devil likes it or not; all is going to be well with Nigeria – Amen!

    2 Chronicles 20: 20-30:

    1. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe His Prophets, so shall ye Prosper (How many of you believed the Prophets of God, then you shall Prosper)
    2. And when he had consulted with the People, he appointed Singers unto the LORD, and that should Praise the beauty of Holiness, as they went out before the Army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his Mercy endureth for ever.
    3. And when they began to sing and to Praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten (May I Prophesy to someone that all your enemies will destroy themselves)

    23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the Inhabitants of Mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the Inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

    1. And when Judah came toward the Watch Tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the Multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the Earth, and none escaped.
    2. And when Jehoshaphat and his People came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in Abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and Precious Jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
    3. And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the Valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same Place was called, The Valley of Berachah, unto this day.
    4. Then they returned, every Man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with Joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies (Everyone of you will rejoice over your enemies – Amen)

    28 And they came to Jerusalem with Psalteries and Harps and Trumpets unto the House of the LORD.

    1. And the fear of God was on all the Kingdoms of those Countries, when they had heard that the LORD fought against the enemies of Israel.

    30 So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about (I decree to Nigeria: God will give you rest).

    This Morning, I have been asked to speak to us on: “DIVINE INVOLVEMENT”.

    What do we mean by Divine?

    We all know that one – It does not need a lot of definition.

    It simply means something that has to do with God.

    What do we mean by Involvement?

    In the Language that a Market Woman can understand; Involvement simply means to have a “Hand In”.

    So, when they say that you are involved; they mean you have a Hand in the matter.

    For example in Matthew 8: 1-3 – A Leper came to Jesus Christ and said that I know that you can make me Whole if You are Willing.

    If You decide to have a Hand in my situation, You can make me Whole.

    Jesus Christ said that I am Willing and He touched him.

    … He had a Hand in the situation and the Leper was Cleansed.

    So, when we talk about “Divine Involvement”; we are talking about God having a Hand in your situation.

    So, I’m Praying for everyone of us – Everyone listening to me all across the Globe or reading on the Label of DMC: From this moment onwards; God will have a Hand in your affairs – Amen!

    1. For an Individual

    I. You see because when God becomes involve with an Individual, when He has a Hand in your situation: The Incurable can be cured.

    I mean you know the Story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5: 1-14.

    This Man was rich, he was Successful, he was famous but he has a Problem – And that Problem is Leprosy.

    And in those days, Leprosy was Incurable. But God had a Hand in his situation – God told him to go and wash in a Particular River.

    You don’t get cured of Leprosy by washing in any River no matter how clean.

    And the River God even asked him to go and wash is a dirty one – He himself said so. He said that there are better Rivers where I come from.

    But because God has a Hand in it; he washed and he was clean.

    In John 9: 1-7 – There was a Man who was born blind and People were talking about him. They said: How come he was born blind? Was it his father who sinned or mother?

    Jesus Christ said that it was not the question of sin; I just want to show you what happens when I get involved.

    He spat on the Ground, made some mud, Put it where the eyes are supposed to be and told the Man to go and wash.

    And the Man washed and came back seeing.

    … He had no eyes but God got involved and he got two (2) Brand New eyes.

    And I Pray that, that will be a Message for somebody today – Amen

    Several Years ago in Rowe Park Yaba Lagos when the Church was still “Very Small”, we held a Crusade – And Rowe Park Yaba Lagos then was big enough back then to take all of us.

    And then we had a Testimony: There was this Young Man who was born with only one Testicles. And the Parents in trying to help him, took him to an Herbalist who said he could help but in the Process of trying to help him, he destroyed the only Testicles that he had.

    … That is Involvement of an Herbalist.

    Then they came to Rowe Park Yaba Lagos and as the Preaching was going on; God said that He was distributing Spare Parts.

    … May I claim that for you this Morning (or as you now on the Label of DMC) – Amen.

    And all of a sudden, we began to hear somebody shouting and the boy came forward and said that the Almighty God had given him two (2) Brand New Testicles.

    Now, this boy had been married and because there was no Testicles before; there was no Pregnancy for his wife.

    But after that incident; some six (6) Months or so later, he came to see me in the office – He came with his wife and I could see the belly of the wife.

    He said: God did this for me! Daddy, do you want to see it?

    I said that I can see it already – The belly of your wife!

    I Pray for everyone of you in Need of a Spare Part(s) from Heaven: Get it today in Jesus Name – Amen!

    DMC NOTES: The Testicles (also called Testes or Gonads) are the Male Sex Glands. They are located behind the Penis in a Pouch of Skin called the Scrotum. The Testicles Produce and store sperm, and they are also the body’s main source of Male Hormones (Testosterone). These Hormones control the development of the Reproductive Organs and other Male Characteristics, such as body and facial hair, low voice, and wide shoulders.

    II. When God is involved with an Individual, He can turn a Failure to an “Over-Night” Success.

    Luke 5: 1-7 – Peter had fished All Night and he caught Nothing.

    Peter was hardworking but there was nothing to show for his hard work.

    And then Jesus Christ got involved. He stepped into his boat and in one throw of the Net, he caught so much fish that his boat and the boat of his friend were filled to Overflowing with fishes.

    When God get involved with an Individual, he gets a Financial Breakthrough that he will need the Help of somebody to manage

    Very soon, your Testimony will be: My Problem is not having money; my Problem is how to spend the money – Amen!

    III. When God gets involved with your situation; you can get “Sudden Accelerated Promotion”.

    In 1 Samuel 16: 1-3; the Bible tells us that God sent Samuel to go and anoint a King in the house of Jesse.

    When he got there; there were some “Big Boys” that the father felt they deserved to be King.

    But there was this Young Man called David – According to Bible Scholars, because he was a Product of a “One-Night Stand” which the father had with a woman who wasn’t the wife; he wasn’t even invited for Presentation.

    But because God was involved in his case; God said through His Prophet that we won’t even sit down until you bring this boy – And then they brought him.

    … And the boy woke up as a Shepherd Boy; he went to bed a King because God got involved.

    I Pray for someone today: Those who should Promote you who are not doing so; they won’t even be able to rest – Amen!

    I mean several Years ago; we were at a Workers’ Meeting here at Evite Metta (RCCG National Headquarters Parish).

    And during the Workers’ Meeting on Sunday Evening, we will take a Bible Passage and then ask everybody to contribute – The Workers sit on one side, the Pastors and Deacons sit on one side so that we can know who is who.

    And everybody was making Contributions and some of the Contributions were way, way off.

    And then one Young Worker got up and said: This is what I believed the Bible Passage is saying.

    … And he was right on Target.

    And I looked at him and said: Well done Deacon!

    He looked at me and somehow the matter sunk into his Mind – He just Picked his chair and crossover to where the Deacons are sitting.

    And the People there were saying: Where are you going?

    He said: The General Overseer called me a Deacon; from now on I am a Deacon!

    I decree today (or as you read on the Label of DMC): God will send Promotion to you – Amen!

    IV. You see, when God has a Hand in your situation; He will grant you “Unusual Favour”.

    You can read Genesis 39: 1-end.

    Joseph was a Slave, he was bought by a Man called Potiphar.

    But because God has a Hand in the Life of Joseph, he became a CEO (Chief Executive Officer).

    The Bible said that Potiphar handed over everything to him – That the only thing that Potiphar got himself in was the food he ate and it was Joseph who decides what food they should give him.

    Then, there was a crisis when the wife of Potiphar tried to cause Joseph to sin and Joseph refused and so the wife lied against him and he ended up in Prison.

    When he got into Prison, because God’s Hand was still on his affairs; the Jailer made him the Controller of the Prison.

    And somebody said that if you are the one Put in Charge of a Prison by the one who is supposed to be looking after the Prison; then Life cannot be that bad.

    Because the Bible said that everything that happens in the Prison was in the hand of Joseph.

    So, he decided what to eat, he decided when he wanted to sleep, he decided what he wanted to do because the Hand of God was with him.

    When God’s Hand is in your situation; He grants you “Unusual Favour”.

    He sends Help to you because if we continue with the Story of Joseph; we will see how God Intervened from the Prison till he became the Prime Minister of Egypt.

    I have told you the Story of one of my children, the name of one of the children is: “God Cares”.

    So, when you ask him: How can you give your son such a name? – And it gives them an opportunity to Testify.

    They went to America to School on Government Scholarship.

    When they got there, as soon as they began to settle down; there was a Military coup (That was in the era of Military coup upon Military coup in Nigeria).

    And a New Government came and cancelled every Scholarships – But they were already there Studying with a Set of Twins.

    No Scholarship means no money coming from anywhere and no Working Permit. So, automatically they ran dry and terrible hunger sets in.

    There was one day that the twins were crying badly – Because there was no food for the Parents, so no food for the children. Then the husband said that I can’t bear the cry of the children anymore.

    So, he ran to the Library at least to Pretend to be Studying and Mama was left alone with the children crying for food.

    And then some People came to Witness (House to House Witness) – They have been doing it since Morning and they got to a Point and say they should go. But the Leader said: Just one more house and they came to the house of this my daughter was with the children.

    At the moment, she had remembered something that I taught them long ago – That if you Pray and you don’t get answer, try Praising God.

    So, she took her Tambourine and she started singing – At least, the singing will drown the crying of the children a little.

    And suddenly the door opened and the children saw a Huge White Man and they kept quiet at least for the moment.

    And the Man saw Tambourine in the hand of my daughter and said: Oh, we came to talk to you about Jesus Christ but we can see you with a Tambourine. Are you a Christian?

    She said: Yes. Come in.

    And they came in and my daughter said: Oh, we would have loved to offer you some things but there is nothing in the house.

    The White Man said: What do you mean Nothing in the house? Not even a bottle of coke?

    Nothing, she said.

    So, he went, opened the fridge and there was nothing there, went to the Kitchen, nothing there. He said: Wait for me!

    He went out, came back loaded with food – That was Saturday. By Monday, got the husband a job.

    And after that incidence; the first child they had after; was the one they named: “He Careth”.

    I am decreeing to the Life of someone today: God will send Help to you today – Amen!

    … But that is for the Individual!

    1. But today, we are celebrating the 61st Anniversary of our Nation Nigeria – So, what happens when God gets involved in the affairs of a Nation?

    I. If God gets involved in the affairs of a Nation; that will Put an end to Terrorism.

    Ha, you say that where is that in the Bible? – I will show you shortly.

    We all know our Problem in Nigeria – The Kidnapers are not even Kidnapping People on the road anymore; they are going to the Houses of Rulers, kidnapping Rulers.

    In Yorubaland in Nigeria, it is a Sacrilege that you touch a Ruler.

    DMC NOTES: Sacrilege means Violation or misuse of what is regarded as Sacred.

    When I was Younger, I don’t know what situation has become now – If you see a Kabiyesi (The name a King is called in Yorubaland in Nigeria) coming; you will move aside for him to Pass. You don’t even want his dress to touch you.

    … There is so much Power and aura of Majesty around.

    DMC NOTES: Aura means the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a Person, Thing, or Place.

    Now, to go and Kidnap a Ruler?

    But that is about to end – Amen!

    In 1 Samuel 17: 1-end; the Bible tells us that Goliath terrorised Israel for forty (40) Days and forty (40) Night. It was so bad that when he gets up in the Morning and he roared, even the King will give into hiding.

    But then God got involved and brought a “Small Boy” who with just a Piece of Rock silenced the enemy Permanently.

    I don’t know how it is going to happen; but because you came to Church this Morning (or reading now on the Label of DMC): In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, very soon all the acts of Terrorism, Banditry, all kinds of evil will come to an end very soon – Amen!

    II. When God gets involved in the affairs of a Nation, He will Protect the People from Pandemic.

    You say: Where is that in the Bible? – I will show you!

    Read Exodus 12: 1-36 – A Pandemic swept through the Land of Egypt and this Particular Pandemic that we are talking about was “Very Selective” – It kills only the First Born (Every First Born in every House was killed by an enemy that they could not see).

    But because God has a Hand in the affairs of Israel; not a Single Child from the Nation of Israel died.

    I told those of you who came to the RCCG October 2021 Holy Ghost Service (HGS) – I said that when God told me on January 1st 2020 that the whole world is going to behave like a Child in Convulsion – I told everybody.

    Of course, I didn’t understand what that meant – I could interpret it several ways: It could be that there will be Earthquake over the world or something like that.

    … But I just told you the way He told me.

    When later on, He said that the whole world will be on “Compulsory Holiday” – I told you.

    Then Coronavirus came and the whole world is still Convulsing.

    “Compulsory or Public Holiday” came and you can’t believed it – You see the Streets of London, Tokyo, everywhere deserted because God spoke.

    And then, there were all kinds of Predictions – Oh, World Health Organisation (WHO), all the Experts; they say: What is going to happen to Africa now? They will be dlying like Chicken.

    I even know one of the Pastors or one “Big Man of God” who said: Oh God, before July the People who will be dying in Lagos State Nigeria will be hundreds of thousands.

    I said: What have we done? Why will they single me out? – Because I belong here.

    I cried to God: Daddy, Please remember that the Elders has a Proverb – The cow that has no tail, it is God who will be chasing away the flies.

    … We have no Help but You – Help us!

    And He spoke and said: Son, I have heard you. Only those whose time has come will die.

    I mean when your time is up, there is nothing anybody can do about that.

    And like I told you on Friday – I read not too long ago that the People who died from Snake bite on the average in Nigeria is at least 2,000 a Year – Which means that in 2 Years, 4,000 deaths due to Snake bite.

    Now, those of us in Lagos we won’t understand that – You go Upcountry, you will see what their farmers are going through.

    Almost 2 Years gone, those who has died by Coronavirus are not up to 3,000 yet. They are less than those killed by Snake bite because there is a God who answers Prayers.

    I am decreeing to you right now (or as you read now on the Label of DMC): Coronavirus will not come to your house

    III. When God has a Hand in the affairs of a Nation; He can turn the Tides Economically.

    If we have a Problem in our Nation now; it has to do with Economics.

    Like I said when I was asked to Preach in Abuja last Sunday – During the 61st Independence Anniversary of Nigeria and 45th Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Anniversary.

    When I asked those who understand the Language – What do they mean by how much we need to Service our debts?

    They said that is the Interest you Pay if you don’t touch the debt – Something you Pay that they will know that you are still alive.

    And they said that what we need to Pay to keep the debt breathing is about 98% of our Income.

    … We have Problems!

    And that we are still borrowing a little more.

    But when you read 2 Kings 7: 1-end – You will find out that when God is involved with the affairs of a Nation; He can turn the Tides Economically.

    I mean there was a situation in a Place called Samaria – Things were so bad that Women were eating their children.

    … We will never get to that Stage in Jesus Name – Amen.

    But a Man of God Prophesied and said that within twenty four (24) hours; there will be so much food that nobody will want to buy.

    And the Expert said that: How can that be? If God were to make a Window in Heaven open, will that be Possible?

    But God showed him.

    Whether you believed it or not, one way or the other: Nigeria will survive – Amen!

    IV. When God is involved with a Nation, He can solve a National Crisis Overnight.

    Have we Problems in our Nation Nigeria?

    You have to be deaf, to believe that we have none or blind.

    … We have Problems and they are quite a few.

    But when you read Exodus 14: 1-end – When Israel got to the Red Sea and they looked back and they saw the Armies of Pharaoh closing in on them.

    And they have no weapons to fight – They did not even know how to fight back because they have been Slaves all along, they are busy making Bricks.

    But there was nothing they could do – They can’t go forward because the Sea was there, they couldn’t go backwards because the enemies were closing in.

    … They had a Problem!

    They even said to Moses: At least you should have left us in Egypt. If we die in Egypt, there would have been Burial Grounds there.

    But then, God get involved and told Moses – Tell them: The enemies you see today; you will not see them again.

    I don’t know how many of you will believe with me: But very soon this Country (Nigeria) will be another Testimony to the world – Amen!

    One day, Israel thought that they are finished but by the following Morning, they discovered that they are just beginning.

    I believe that Nigeria is just beginning – It will be well with us in Nigeria (Amen).

    Now, that brings me back to the Bible Text that we read in 2 Chronicles Chapter 20 that I read before.

    If you read the Story from Verse 1 (2 Chronicles 20:1 downwards); the Bible tells us that a King was sitting down in his Palace, minding his own Business, serving God; when News came that three (3) Mighty Kings have joined themselves together and said: Let go and wipe him out.

    And by the time he heard that they were coming, they are just twenty four (24) Hours distance away.

    Ha, he said: What do I do?

    When you find yourself in a situation when you know you can’t fight the battle, then Call on the Lord of Host.

    He gathered all his People together, they all stood before the Almighty God: Help us they cried.

    And then, God sent a Message – He said: Don’t worry, I will be involved. And He told them what to do which is what I will advice you this Morning.

    He said: Worship Me, Praise Me, don’t Panic, I have never lost a War. I will fight for you but you must worship Me.

    And the Bible said that they worshiped Him.

    I mean you can imagine someone going to war and he Put the Choir Infront.

    He told the Choir: You keep singing, those of you with beautiful voices while those of us whose voices are not too good will be making a Joyful Noise behind you.

    The Bible described what happened that day, it is amazing – Three (3) Kings with their Mighty Armies, they were United to destroy Israel. God got involved, and we don’t know exactly what happened; all of a sudden the People of one King looked at the People of the other King and they say we hate you. And the other People say we hate you more. Let’s see who can win.

    And they finished one Nation. And then the few that remained faced each other and they fight on.

    … The Bible said that they finished one another.

    It is always amazing when God is involved – He will Prove Himself in such a manner that everybody will know that this can only be God!

    One very Great Scientist and I was discussing not too long ago and he said: The fact of what had happened with Nigeria in Particular (He was talking about Coronavirus) shows that there must be something there that is not anywhere else.

    I said do you want to know what is there?

    At least once a Month; thousands of us gather together in a Place called “The Redemption Camp” Praising God!

    … There is something there that they don’t do elsewhere – At least once a Month.

    And He said I believed you – I said that you better do.

    If only you will Praise God today like you have never done before; very soon People will come to you and say: You have a Secret.

    Why are you so successful? Why is it that when People are dying, you are getting Stronger? How come you have “Absolute Peace of Mind when other People are trembling?

    And you will tell them: You want to know the Secret?

    I have a God and I worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

    Which brings me to the Conclusion:

    When God speaks, it is done; when He sends a Word of Prophesy, you can be sure as soon as it goes out; it is Settled

    But it is always settled only for His Own People – Not for Outsiders!

    The Bible says that: Bless the Lord for He is Good, for His Mercy endureth forever.

    But then He went on to say: It is the Mercy of God that got the children through the Red Sea and the same Mercy of God drown their enemies.

    So, the matter is actually in your hands – Do you really belong to Him or are you a Pretender?

    In the time of Crisis, He will separate those who His friends and those who are Pretenders.

    ALTAR CALL

    That is why if you are in Church this Morning; wherever you are listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC and you know that you are not 100% committed to God; let me tell you; the Bible says: At the end of the Age, there will be Noisome Pestilences.

    And I told you at the beginning that Coronavirus is just one Noisome Pestilence – Just noisy and just one.

    Believe it or not; there are others to come but we do not have to worry because it won’t matter to us.

    But if you are not on the side of the Lord; God have Mercy on you.

    So, if you want to be on the side of the Lord; you want to surrender your Life to Him; you want to really surrender to Him not Pretending; then I’m going to count from one (1) to ten (10) – Before I say ten (10); come and Stand before the Altar.

    Let us Pray that God will save your Soul so that you will become Part of His Family and then you can say: I have nothing to fear because the Lord is on my side.

    So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; come now as I’m counting.

    … The Choice is yours as Nobody is compelling you.

    Now, those of you who has come forward – Cry to the Almighty God: Ask Him to be Merciful unto you; ask Him to save your Soul, tell Him that you want to be Part of His Family, Promise Him that you will serve Him for the rest of your Life, Promise Him that you will have nothing more to do with the works of Darkness, nothing more to do with the devil.

    And the rest of us, let us Stretch our hands towards these our new Brothers and Sisters and intercede for them.

    And Pray that the One who saved our Souls will save their own Souls also. Let’s Pray that His Blood will wash away their sins.

    Pray for them for one (1) Minute.

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

    Saviour, I want to Thank You for Your Words; I want to give You all the Glory and Honour because of these People who has come forward to surrender their lives to You.

    Please remember Your Promise – That whosoever will come unto You, You will no wise cast out.

    They have come to You now; Please receive them, have Mercy on them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins; Please write their names in the Book of Life and from now on, anytime they cry unto You, answer them by Fire.

    And I Pray that they will serve You for the rest of their lives.

    Thank You Father!

    And now very soon, Your Children will be Praising You and they will be worshipping You – I Pray Lord God Almighty that as they do so; You will get involved with them: Get involve with them Physically, Materially, Maritally and Spiritually.

    And Please Lord, because Your Children who are going to be worshipping You today; get involved with Nigeria.

    First of all I want to celebrate my Parents in the Lord – They are not just the Parents of People in RCCG; they are my Parents in the Lord, Baba and Mama Adeboye.

    I want to Bless the Lord, I want to Thank God for them. I want to Thank God that they are not just Legends; they are a Testimony! They are our Reference Point.

    I believe they are the Pastors of Nigeria.

    Every Nation has a Pastor – Billy Graham used to be the Pastor of America. Baba Adeboye is our Pastor in Nigeria.

    About seven (7) Years ago, I came to Minister in this Youth Conference. And one of the Leaders at that time; the late Pastor Dare Adeboye. And I know the Saints in Heaven, they watch what is going on on Earth. We can appreciate the Lord for the hard work he did.

    So every Young Person who is here (or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC) Put your hands together and let’s appreciate Pastor Dare wherever he is in Glory. Let’s celebrate the hard work he did. Bless the Lord for his Testimony, for the Good Life he lived. For the Testimony he was to us – Hallelujah!

    The ten (10) Wealthiest People on Earth right now have no Industry; they have no Factory – They just created an IDEA.

    FACEBOOK is just an Idea; it is not a Book, it is not a Face.

    AMAZON is just a Logistic Company, and yet the Owner is the Wealthiest on Earth.

    MICROSOFT has no Factory.

    Only three (3) Companies in America equivalent to the GDP of Nigeria – MICROSOFT, AMAZON and GOOGLE are worth three (3) Trillion.

    The whole GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the fifty six (56) Nations in Africa is less than 2 Trillion.

    The time has come for a SHIFT and you are going to start it. You are the one God will use.

    The Man and the Woman with the loudest Amen will be the ones God will use – AMEN!

    They brought me Three (3) of my Books; so I will just use them to Preach tonight.

    The third book talks about: “Three (3) Ways 2 Perpetrate Wealth.

    I have lived a few Years on Earth and I know Nigeria well.

    I was born in the North, I grew up in the North. And then I went down to the South.

    And I can tell you that two (2) or three (3) families are the only ones that have generated four (4) Generational Wealth.

    Every other ones, the Second Generation loses it.

    Apart from Dantata who borrowed Dangote money, no one has generated Generational Wealth.

    Where is a Ekenedilichukwu? Where is Abiola? Where is the Darosha? Where is Bakare? Where are all those names?

    But there is coming a Generation among you here today (or those reading this Message now on the Label of DMC), that God is going to raise to make a difference on Earth – Amen.

    God is going to put amazing Blessings in your hands and you will be a Blessing to your Generation – Amen.

    The Province where you come from, next time they say they want to Pioneer a Church anywhere, and they say the amount; you alone will say: I will Sponsor the Building Projects!

    Pull it to yourself and say – I RECEIVE IT!

    … Are you ready for the Word tonight?

    RUTH 3:1-5:

    1 Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee?

    2 And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.

    3 Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.

    4 And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the Place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.

    5 And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.

    God is speaking to Young Men and Young Women here today (or reading this Message on the Label of DMC today): Tonight, I believe I have an Assignment to somebody here who is about to step into a Significant Destiny.

    So my Topic is: STEPPING INTO A SIGNIFICANT DESTINY.

    Wherever you are now (or reading this Message on the Label of DMC from), it is not an accident that you are a Young Man or Young Woman at this time. It is not an accident that you were born in Nigeria.

    I know there are Challenges in the Nation – Nigeria is an Oxymoron, a Contradiction!

    Whilst Nations of the Earth are Pushing their Young Men and Women to advance in AI (Artificial Intelligence), ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence); our Nation Nigeria is busy Protecting Cows and Cow Headers as if taking us back to the days that were ancient.

    And I know some of you wish you were born somewhere else.

    But I came to let you know: God does not make a mistake. You are a Man of Destiny and a Woman of Destiny; and whatever you have gone through will end up working for you – Amen. It will work for your Good – Amen! It will work for your Advancement – Amen.

    … And I hope I am Preaching to the right People tonight?

    I came to let somebody know that: There is a Significant Destiny earnmark for your life – What God is set to do in your life, the devil can’t stop it, he can’t stand it, and there is nothing he can do about it – Amen.

    “What God is set to do in your life, the devil can’t stop it, he can’t stand it, and there is nothing he can do about it.”

    … If you believe it, shout a Big Amen – AMEN!!!

    Hebrew Tradition (not the Bible) says that Ruth and Orpah were sisters. And that they were Princesses. And somehow, they married into the same family. Their husbands died, there father-in-law died, Orpah decided to stay in her Country.

    RUTH sensed the Destiny in her mother-in-law; and decided to follow her.

    There are some is us – You have wondered: what did I do wrong? I have studied all I need to study; I have done all I know to do. Why am I where I am?

    I came to let you know tonight: It is not over yet! You are going to step into your Testimony. You are going to walk in your Dignity. You going to walk in your Destiny – Amen.

    I Pray for somebody here tonight (or who is reading now on the Label of DMC): Even though your Vision is tarrying, it shall still speak – Amen.

    Your Vision shall still Manifest! God will cause you to come into your Favour – Amwn.

    The two of them (Orpah and Ruth) came to a crossroad where they needed to make a decision – Their husbands have died, and their father-in-law have died. And their mother-in-law said: Change my name to Mara (bitterness). I am going home, don’t follow me. I don’t have sons you will married.

    And at that Crossroad Ruth sensed a Significant Destiny, and she decided to follow her mother-in-law.

    Tonight, I am going to share a few things you need to do when you begin to step into your Significant Destiny.

    Listen, I want you to know you have opportunities many don’t have, you have the Blessings many don’t have – You know the Lord, you have Christ, you are in a Good house, you are here in the world; that is a blessing in itself!

    Because the Word of God will make ways for you! – You will arrive at your Destination, nothing will hold you down, you will become fulfilled – Amen.

    If you believe shout Amen – AMEN!!!

    But tonight I came to speak to a few People:

    1. The first step you need to take is to KNOW WHAT YOU ARE AFTER.

    What is my Goal in life?

    Don’t stay with the wrong People; don’t hang with them. Forget the Past People, the Past Places, the Past Things that didn’t work.

    Stop Procrastinating with your Life; stop Staying in the Place that things are not working – Know what you are after.

    Ruth had a clear understanding – If I follow this Woman and her God, something Good will happen to me.

    So she told her mother-in-law:

    “Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy People shall be my People, and thy God my God:” – Ruth 1:16

    … You need to know what you are going after.

    1. YOU NEED TO CAPTURE YOUR THOUGHTS.

    … And change your Thinking to be in line with the Word of God

    Stop Thinking little, stop blaming Nigeria, stop Putting yourself down, stop telling yourself: “Look at my Life, I am just a mess!”

    Ruth could have done that and told herself – I am just a widow, I am just useless. Maybe I am the one who killed my husband.

    The devil is a liar!

    I came to let somebody know: Change your Thinking! I want you to know you are the way you think – If your thoughts are about Breakthrough, about the Blessings of God, about the Destiny you carry, about the Future you carry; it come to Pass!

    You are your thoughts! Change your thinking – For as a man thinketh so is he.

    From tonight, something is going to change in your Life – Amen.

    1. YOU NEED TO HAVE A VISION OF WHAT YOU WANT.

    Where are you going with your Life? What do you want with your Life? What do you want to achieve?

    And listen: Stop blaming the Government of Nigeria. Don’t put your Destiny in their hands.

    There are some of you, you didn’t even realise your Parents were an Arrival Point, Nigeria is an Arrival Point!

    You are a World Citizen! Your Destiny is bigger than your Location. Your Calling is greater than your Location. Where God is taking you is bigger than where you started from.

    And I Pray for you tonight (or as you read on the Label of DMC): You will reach where God is taking you! You will achieve the Purpose God meant for you.

    … If you believe, shout a Big Amen – ÀMEN!

    You need to have a Vision of what you want in Life.

    Some People, all they want in Life is to just touch money – “I wanna be a Billionaire!

    That is all they want – They just want to touch the money.

    “One (1) Billion Dollar – ma se si Dollar! First thing now Hummer! Owo mbe lapo mi oooo, dide ko ba mi jo.”

    … They just want to touch money; they don’t know that, that is not Wealth!

    There are four (4) kinds of Nigerians: Poor Ones, Middle Class, Rich Men and Wealthy People.

    I. The Poor have nothing!

    II. The Middle Class drive Big cars (SUV), they carry titles – Manager. But if they lost their jobs; after three (3) Months they will be soaking garri (Cassava Flakes) with guguru.

    III. The Rich like to show off! They make noise – “I am the Eze Gburugburu of el Eziama Autonomous Community”. They are not wealthy!

    IV. Wealthy People don’t show it! And they use it to make a difference.

    And they are here tonight listening to me or reading this message now on the Label of DMC!

    God is raising an Army in the Name of Jesus! – Shout Amen Fire!!!

    You must have a Vision of what you want?

    Are you sure this is what you want? Is it Good for you? Not because it is Good for someone else.

    Ruth said in Ruth 1:16 – “Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy People shall be my People, and thy God my God:”

    When you look at Naomi, there is nothing to see. But Ruth said: This woman is a Carrier of Destiny.

    And our Young Men, when they want to marry, all they look at is the shape of the girl – They don’t ask: “Is she a Carrier of Destiny?”

    There are Young Ladies, when a guy comes to talk to them, first question is: “Do you have a car? How much is your Salary? How tall are you?

    … If you are short you are in trouble! – God help all short men.

    WHAT DO YOU WANT? – When you don’t know what you want, People will give you what you don’t want.

    Ruth said: “Intreat me not to turn from following after you”; I sense Destiny around you. There is something about you Naomi. There may be death now, but there is a Future, there is a Resurrection, there is a Testimony.

    I ask you Young Lady: If that Young Man comes to you, instead of you to ask for Vision, why are you asking for his car?

    The first question I would have asked (if I were a Lady and a Man wants to marry me) will be: “Where are you going?” Because if you know where you are going then I can follow you. But if you don’t know where you are going, we will all end up in the ditch!

    What do you want?

    I came tonight to call somebody to a Significant Destiny; and I see you stepping into it! – You will step into Destiny, you step into Purpose.

    There are Governors of States of Nigeria here tonight or reading this Message now on the Label of DMC; and there are Senators, there are Members of House of Representatives, there are Major Businessmen and Women here – I want you to believe it and say – I RECEIVE IT!

    There are Global Players here – Men and Women who are going to be Global Players.

    By Global Players, I mean they recognise you Globally.

    Receive it in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

    His name is Strive Masiyiwa (a London-based Zimbabwean Billionaire Businessman and Philanthropist. He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of the International Technology Group Econet Global)

    He got Born Again after the war in Zimbabwe, went to the University – No job.

    And himself and three (3) other guys; they would show up in Church, they will clean the Church, sit down under their Pastor and their Pastor will speak into their lives every day.

    The next day, they are coming back – Cleaning the Church again. Graduates!

    They had degrees, no job in the Nation but they believed in Jehovah – They will sit under their Pastor every day.

    Ladies and Gentlemen, those four (4) men – Three (3) of them own a Bank, the fourth one was the one who brought Econet to Nigeria.

    And today – This Year May, for the first time Britain listed the first black Billionaire, and it was Strive Masiyiwa.

    And of course, he didn’t make it in Britain; they are just claiming the Glory.

    He made it in Africa.

    All they did was sit under the feet of their Pastor – Receiving Revelation, believing God.

    You have come to Mount Zion tonight; you have come to this Conference; you will not go empty-handed – Amen! You Story will Change – Amen.

    If you believe it, say: I RECEIVE IT!

    … Significant Destiny!

    1. PICK YOUR FIGHT.

    There are some things that are Time Wasters. Don’t get involved in every battle, in every fight – Know what you can handle, know what you are Ordained to handle.

    Don’t fight with Heavyweight Boys when you are still Underweight.

    If you don’t believe me go and ask Joshua. You will realised fine boy does not do it.

    When you meet Heavyweight, Pick your fight; it defines your moment.

    When you are going through battles know that it is not over.

    As the Lord lives, you will come out of that Battle – Amen! You will come out with a Testimony, you will come out with Glory, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

    1. KNOW YOUR DEFINING MOMENTS.

    The mother-in-law said to Ruth: Where did you glean yesterday? And she said, the farm of one man called BOAZ.

    The mother-in-law said “BO-AZ kilo pe?” – BOAZ!

    Ha! That’s our relation! He is a Bachelor Millionaire. “Iwo omo yi o mo rin.” – You went to the Right Farm.

    May God order your steps to the right Places! “Ibi ti ori yin ti ma kan ire, ese yin o ni ye ni be – AMIN. Ibi ti e ti rin arinye koni gbona mo yin – AMIN.”

    Translation: Where you will meet with Good luck, your legs will not be found wanting there – Amen. Where you will meet with Good Tidings will not be hot for you – Amen.

    Where you will step in and your Story will Change that is where you will go – Amen! May your steps be Ordered by the LORD – Amen.

    … If you believe it say Yes – YES!!!!

    Now your Defining Moments!

    The mother-in-law said: Where did you say you went?

    Ha! You this girl, you are up to something. There is Destiny in your life! You didn’t die in Moab, you came to the land of Strangers; and God has ordered your steps. There is something to you!

    There’s somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC: They tried to kill you, they couldn’t kill you. They tried to abort you, they couldn’t abort you. They fought you, they couldn’t win over you. You will arrive at your Destination – Amen.

    Know your Defining Moments – Know where you are going; don’t waste your opportunity in Mediocrity. Don’t hang out with the wrong People. Stop hanging with Bitter People – They are bitter with God, bitter with the Church, bitter with the Pastor, they are bitter with neighbours, they are bitter with their Tabitha (Their Helpers). They are worse than Yoyo Bitters! Move away from them. Move away from gossips!

    The mother-in-law didn’t say: Where did you say you went – Boaz Farm?

    Ha, don’t go there anymore oooo. We don’t know why he is not married. At this age he still a Bachelor – even as a Millionaire.

    Young Man, Young Woman, stop blaming all the People who have hurt you in life – Wash Your Face!

    I. Stop blaming your Parents who dropped you and they were never there for you – Wash Your Face!

    II. Stop blaming your mother who didn’t stay to take care of you – Wash Your Face!

    III. Stop blaming the Teacher who made you to hate Mathematics – Wash Your Face!

    IV. Stop blaming the Pastor who got you angry; stop blaming the People who by-passsed you and chose People lesser than you – Wash Your Face!

    Don’tot let The mask of yesterday stop the beauty of today – Wash Your Face!

    Isaiah 25:7 says: There are some People who have a tapuline, a veil over their face.

    … Beautiful, but nobody is seeing you because you are allowing yesterday to cover your Beauty.

    V. The man who abused you, whom you have never told anyone; the one who molested you, you have never told anybody – Wash Your Face!

    Because if you are going to manifest your Destiny, you can’t keep talking about yesterday.

    If you are a Driver, you will notice that if you ever look at your rear-view mirror, it is only for a short time, you look forward. Wash Your Face!

    Too many Young Men and Young Women are not moving forward in life because they have allowed People of their Past to hold them down – Forget yesterday’s history, do something about tomorrow by Washing Your Face!

    Wash it away! – Wash the Anger, wash the People who offended you, the one who said you will never amount to anything – Wash Your Face!

    I lived with a woman who took advantage of us when we were Young. Even as a Teenager, I was still Hawking Bread.

    The ‘Sahara Desert’ in the middle of my head is not genetic it is from Hawking Bread (laughter)! Without anything between my head and the tray. She would send us to bed 12 Midnight wake us up 5 a.m.

    The brain of a teenager still needs more sleep! At age sixteen (16), I was carrying her baby on my back.

    … A Young Man carrying baby at 16, 17 years.

    She woke us up with a curse: “You will never amount to anything.”

    But I have been where she could never go. I have seen what she would never see. I have traveled to Nations she will never be – Wash Your Face!

    Tell your neighbour – Wash Your Face!

    Break away from your yesterday; Wash your face.

    People who wash their faces, they do Strange Things, they go to Strange Places.

    In January 2021, I went to that same woman (she still alive in her 90s) with more money than she can spend in her lifetime and I put it in her hand.

    She has been hearing what I have become Globally; but I went to bless her – Wash Your Face!

    Ruth’s mother-in-law told her: Wash your face, move away from your Past, don’t ruin your Future with your Past.

    There are so many People, when they look at your face they can tell. And some of us, we like it – we like to let everybody know that we have gone through troubles:

    “Una no know wetin I don see for this world oooo?” – Shut Up! Na only you see something? Wash Your Face!

    Listen to me sister:

    I. You can’t go forward until you Wash Your Face.

    II. There is a level of favour you cannot enter untill you wash your face.

    III. Stop holding to the issues of the Past.

    One (1) man disappointed you, two (2) Men disappointed you and since then any man wey come: ‘All men na snake’ Who tell you so? Abeg, Wash Your Face!

    If you don’t Wash Your Face, you would go and meet Boaz with the face of a Moabite.

    And Deuteronomy 23:3 says: An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the Congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth Generation shall they not enter into the Congregation of the LORD for ever:

    … But for Ruth to enter, she must Wash Her Face!

    Listen to me everyone: There are face-washing that Education cannot fix.

    I. There are People with Master’s Degree; when dem marry, dem dey beat their wife because dem never wash face.

    II. There are women with PhD, with Pathological Jealousy – Wash Your Face!

    What I am trying to tell you tonight is that: You should look for People who are going somewhere and join them – Put all those things behind!

    Don’t just sing in Church: “O ti mu mi gbagbe ooo (He has made me to forget), ibanuje igba kan (Past Bitterness) … ” Iwo na gbagbe! (You too Forget it!)

    … Forget it and move on. Change your Attitude.

    Some of us, we don’t know it is because you have not washed our Face; we think witches are after us – “Witches no even know you; wetin you carry wey witch wan Pursue you for?” Abeg, Wash Your Face!

    1. ANOINT YOUR FACE.

    Put something New on! – Put on the Garment of Praise in Place of the Spirit of heaviness.

    From today, I Anoint you with the Oil of Joy. Testimony will break out in your house; Glory will break out in your house ,in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

    Fresh Oil will rest on your Life, Favour will rest on your life, Blessing will rest and your life – Amen.

    From today, anywhere you enter: The Glory of the Lord will Rise upon you – Amen. The Beauty of the Lord will Rise upon you – Amen. The Testimony of Jesus will be upon you – Amen.

    … If you believe it shout: I RECEIVE IT!

    Isaiah 60:1; Arise, shine; for thy Light is come, and the Glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

    The Hebrew word: (Glory) here is Kaheel. Kaheel of the Lord is risen from you. Kaheel is Empowerment, Uncommon Strength, Uncommon Grace, Uncommon Glory – ARISE, SHINE!

    Don’t let the devil catch you showing that what he is doing is getting at you – Anoint Your Face!

    By the time you leave this Camp: Get ready for the World, get ready to take Territories, get ready to move in a New Dimension; get ready to Possess your Possessions; get ready to be Blessed; get ready to be favoured, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

    The Bible says: You are to serve the Lord with Gladness.

    Don’t serve with Attitude – Anoint Your Face. Come with Thanksgiving. Clear the Spirit of heaviness.

    Woman/Man, you are on your way to a Significant Destiny and you will arrive there – Amen.

    I said you would arrive there – Amen.

    1. SET GOALS FOR YOURSELF.

    …From now on, I want to be a better Believer; I want to Prosper.

    I. SPIRITUAL GOALS: I want to go in the Grace of Jesus.

    II. PRAYER GOALS: I want to Pray one (1) hour everyday. We don’t want you to stay four (4) hours and you did nothing. So start with one (1) hour.

    III. MENTAL GOALS: As a Young Person, read one (1) Book a week.

    I read three (3) to four (4) Books a week. I download e-books everyday. And every week I have two (2) or three (3) I am buying. Every Week I get alert – I look at them, I Pick the ones I need. I spend money to do Speed Reading; so I can read a book of 100 Pages in one hour and retain 95%.

    … Set Goals!

    Who do I need to become? What do I want to be? Because some of us, we think Destiny is just to Pour Oil on your head. It is not enough!

    You are a Young Man, you are a Young Woman, you must balance your Life like a Pendulum – Principles, Power!

    There are some Churches, all they have is Power – Power, Power. No Principles.

    There are some others, all they have is Principles – Principles, Principles. No Power.

    Get the Power and get the Principles.

    Set Goals for yourself! Financial Goals.

    Billionaires are rising from this Conference. The Power of Poverty will be broken in your Life – Amen!

    … If you believe shout – I RECEIVE IT.

    1. PUT ON A NEW GARMENT.

    Wear a New Dress, Put on something fresh – Therefore, Wash Your Face!

    Ruth 3:3: Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee,

    Prepare, there is a favour coming – Amen!

    But you can’t have a Room and Parlour Mentality to handle the Mansion Blessing – You need to Change your Mentality.

    Prepare, there is a favour coming. Get ready, something is going to happen very fast. There is an anointing on your my Life for somebody to move Speedily.

    After tonight or as you read on the Label of DMC; things will begin to happen in your Life – Amen and they will be happening suddenly – Amen.

    The Hebrew word ‘Suddenly’ means: Hastily, Quickly, without warning.

    There is something God has Prepared for you; it is coming into your hands – Amen. Favour is coming into your house – Amen. Blessing is coming to your house – Amen.

    Excusite is the disease of Excuses.

    Why are you not doing well?

    It is not my fault.

    The Man by the Pool of Bethesda, for thirty eight (38) Years he was on the same spot.

    Make it like a Command – Tell yourself “GET OUT”!

    First time I ever went to Israel; I have been to Israel seven (7) times (not as a Tourist). I go to Preach on GOD’S TV.

    The first time I went, they asked a guy to take me round. The first Place I told him to take me to was the Pool of Bethesda.

    When we got there and he showed me the Pool, it was just three (3) times this Podium – So tiny.

    There was a woman from the Israeli Tourist Board. I said this Pool, was it bigger than this in the days of Jesus? They said No! This was the size.

    And one (1) Man sat beside there for Thirty eight (38) Years; giving excuses: “I have no Man, no one is helping me, Angels did not see me.”

    … GET OUT!

    From tonight you are coming out of Limitation – Amen; you are coming out of Shame – Amen; you are coming out of Embarrassment – Amen.

    Somebody scream: I AM COMING OUT in the Name of Jesus!

    Now listen to me my dear Young Man and Young Woman: When God begins to bring you out of Poverty, Shame, Lack, Embarrassment, Limitation, Low Self-esteem into a New Season; it may not look like you don’t fit in. But God will begin to make room for you.

    And when you get there, there are Men and Women Ordained to help you – They will help you with your Vision, they will help you with your Dream, they help you with your Destiny.

    Shout Amen – AMEN!!!

    Go to the Place; when you get there, don’t introduce yourself as some rubbish.

    If they say: Are you Blessed? – You say of course, I am Blessed!

    A Slave will introduce himself!

    If you take a Slave to your house don’t introduce him, he will introduce himself. When they serve food, he will go and sit down on one corner of the floor. They will know that this one is not one of their sons.

    Ruth knew who she was in God! When she got there, she did not tell Boaz: before you go on Sir, I am a Widow, my husband died, and brother-in-law died. My Father-in-Law died.

    Shut Off!

    We cut that Past from you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen! We cut that Shame, we cut that Embarrassment, we cut that Failure. You will arrive in your Purpose – Amen.

    Tonight, there are People with Significant Destinies – Your Calling is Sure, your Calling is Great. The devil can’t stop you.

    What you go through can’t stop where you are going to.

    I am going to make Three (3) Calls Tonight; and hand over the Microphone.

    But before I make those calls, let me share my Story in three (3) minutes.

    I was a Muslim. My name was Ahmed.

    Then I heard an Old Story – How the Saviour came from Glory, He gave His Life for a wretched like me.

    I got Born Again when I was twenty (20) Years old; God called me to Ministry when I was twenty one (21) Years old. I went to Bible School when I was twenty two (22) Years old. I resumed in Shomolu Foursquare Church when I was twenty four (24) Years old.

    The Church was in a rented decked house. In one of the rooms there: “Face me I Face you”; I lived in one Single Room, the decking was not good. When it rained outside, inside my bed would be covered wet.

    All that time, the Call of God was on My Life. I had not known how to Wash My Face. I didn’t know how to Anoint My Face. I accepted anything one threw at me.

    But Something inside,
    So Strong,
    Iknow that I can make it.

    Something in me said: “You are bigger than where you are!.

    Fast forward to today – God has turned my life around beyond Imaginations!

    I came tonight or as you read on the Label of DMC to let you know: you carry a Significant Destiny!

    But there are some who are here tonight, you have never really in a Personal and definite.way; receive Jesus Christ into your heart – No Jesus, no life. No Jesus, no hope. No Jesus, no Direction. No Jesus, no meaning to life.

    1. So if you are saying Pastor Matthew Please Pray for me: I want Jesus to come into my heart. I want to be a New Person, Please Pray for me.

    … If you are such a Person rise on your feet.

    I am waiting for you – Don’t assume that you know Christ.

    Surrender to Him today or as you read on the Label of DMC.

    I want to Pray for you to receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

    1. The Second Group of Persons are those who are saying: Pastor Matthew; I want to rededicate my Life to Jesus. I have not been serious. I want a Restoration.

    SAY AFTER ME: Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sin. I ask You to forgive me now. Wash me with Your Blood, Cleanse me with Your Blood, make me a New Person. I receive You today as my Lord and Saviour.

    I Pray for all these People who are surrendering their lives; that today begins A New Beginning in your Life!

    The Power of the enemy is broken! The grip of Satan is broken. The Blood of Jesus washes you.

    Every Power that has held you down must let you go be free in the Name of Jesus!

    From tonight, you begin a New Beginning – You begin a New Walk, in Jesus Name – Amen

    Let’s put our hands together! Give God Praise for the Men and Women that surrendered their lives.

    Let’s celebrate! There is Joy in heaven.

    1. Tonight my Messages was about “Significant Destiny”.

    This Next Call therefore, maybe a lot of People;

    Whatever it is; but you feel that a Chain needs to be broken – Something holding you needs to stop. You feel there is need for you to let go of the Pain, the abuse, the hurt, the molestation. The things you have been going through that are holding you your Destiny;

    I want to Pray for you. I will not be able to lay hands; but your stepping forward and Standing is an act of Faith. And it is a Prophetic Action: You are walking away from every Limitation, from everything that has ever held you down!

    Start Praying for yourself now: It is a New Season, it is a New Day.

    From tonight; Great Expectations, Exceeding Expectations. Blessed beyond Expectations, Prosperous beyond Expectations, Equipped beyond Expectations, Empowered beyond Expectations, Motivated beyond Expectations, Determined beyond Expectations, Anointed beyond Expectations, Gifted beyond Expectations, Acepted beyond Expectations, Redeemed beyond Expectations, Focused beyond Expectations!

    From today, no more Average; no more Failure; no more Shame! You are a Free Man, you are a Free Woman; your face is WASHED.

    Limitation is taken away. The Oil of God is upon you; Your Face is Anointed. You will go Places, you will Connect with your Boaz, you will Connect with your Helpers, in the Name of Jesus.

    Look at me: Who will ever know that girl whose husband died; who followed her mother-in-law to Town; will marry Boaz, and the two of them begat Jesse. And Jesse begat David. And David begat Solomon.

    So, when you read the Book of Matthew; Ruth is there as Part of the Lineage of Jesus. From the woman who decided to Wash her Face to a Woman in the Lineage of the Messiah.

    Greatness is coming out of you; Destiny is coming out of you; Favour is coming out of you; Glory is coming out of you; Testimony is coming out from you.

    I Prophesy on you tonight: By the Power of the Living Christ; by the Oil on our father in the Lord, Baba Adeboye, by the Anointing that is upon the Redemption Camp Ground, by the Power that has raised the dead and healed the sick in the Redemption Camp Ground; you walk into a New Season, you walk into a New Testimony, you walk into a New Life, in the Name of Jesus.

    A Change of Destiny, a Change of Purpose, a Change of Life in the Name of Jesus.

    OPENING PRAYER

    Father Almighty, we give You all the Glory, we give You all the Honour, we give You all the Adoration – Accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

    Father, Your Children are here today trusting that because of today’s Meeting, they will soon have Joy Exceeding all Expectations.

    Father, so let it be in Jesus Name.

    Answer them today Lord and let Your Name be Glorified.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    Well, let someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

    Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and tell him or her that you will be rejoicing with me very soon – Amen!

    And so shall it be in Jesus Name – Amen.

    Let us be seated as we open our Bibles to 1 Samuel 1: 9-11:

    1. So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the Priest sat upon a seat by a Post of the Temple of the LORD.
    2. And she was in bitterness of Soul, and Prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.
    3. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of Hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a Man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

    You know that our Theme for this Month is: God Bless You – Part 9 (Exceeding Expectations).

    When Hannah was Praying, she was asking God for just one (1) son. And she wanted that son to become a houseboy in the House of the Lord.

    … Give me a son, just let the world know that I too have given birth.

    And Lord, I will give him back to you – Let him go and serve in your House. Let him be a houseboy in the House of the Lord.

    And her Expectations was just one (1) boy who will be a houseboy in the House of the Lord!

    And when you read 1 Samuel 3: 1-end; you will discovered that, that was exactly the work that Samuel was doing in the house of Eli – A houseboy that can be called upon anytime of the day or night.

    Because when God begins to speak to Samuel, when God came and call Samuel, Samuel – The Bible says that the boy got up (he was already lying down to sleep) and ran to Eli.

    … He was a houseboy.

    He said: Sir, I am here because you called me.

    Eli said: I didn’t call you, go and lie down again.

    So, the boy lay down again and again, he heard the Lord calling him.

    And the Second time, he got up, ran to Eli – Sir, I’m here you called me.

    Eli said that: No, I didn’t call you. You go and lie down.

    Third time again, he ran because he was a houseboy.

    If it were one of the children of the home and you thought your daddy call you first time and he says I didn’t call you; Second time, be say I didn’t call you. If he call the Third time, you are likely to say: Hey, I don’t know what is wrong with daddy today; he should let me sleep.

    But Samuel was a houseboy – He wasn’t born in the family, he wasn’t a Member of the Household of Eli, he wasn’t supposed to be anybody important.

    That was the Expectations of the mother; that was all the mother wanted him to be.

    But the boy was to become a Prophet!

    Because by the time you get to 1 Samuel 3: 19-21; the Bible says that boy has become such a Mighty Prophet that when he speaks anything; everything has to come to Pass.

    … The Almighty didn’t allow his words to fall to the Ground.

    1. The mother did not expect that the Child God is going to give her will become a Great Prophet.
    2. The mother did not know that this Child is going to become a King Maker – 1 Samuel 10:1.

    Not just an “Ordinary Prophet” but the one who anointed the first King ever in Israel.

    1. This boy became so Powerful that he became the King Remover.

    To appoint a King is an easy thing but to remove one; that is a different matter indeed because once you Put the King on the Throne, he has Power even over your Life.

    You didn’t believe me; you read 1 Samuel Chapter 16 – When God said to Samuel: I want you to go to the house of Jesse and anoint a King; Samuel said that if Saul heard about it, he will kill me.

    So, the King Maker is not the same as the the King Remover!

    But this boy who was supposed to be a houseboy became a Prophet so Mighty that by the time you read 1 Samuel 15: 1-29 – The King as Powerful as he was, took hold of the Garment of this boy and tore it and this boy said that your Kingdom is torn from you.

    … Extremely Powerful Prophet!

    I want to assure you in the Name that is above every other names: That Child God will give you as a result of your coming today will shake the world – Amen!

    1. The mother was expecting just one (1) son but instead of just one (1) son; Samuel became the first born of six (6) children – Five (5) children came as recorded in 1 Samuel 2: 20-21.

    … The mother gave birth to three (3) other boys and two (2) other girls.

    So, instead of being one (1) son, he became first born of six (6) children.

    When my Father opens your womb and He is going to do so very soon; you will be the one who will tell Him that I have gotten enough – Amen!

    God exceeded the Expectations of Hannah – Hannah was expecting a houseboy as son:

    1. She got a Prophet.
    2. She got a King Maker.
    3. She got a King Remover.
    4. She got the first born of six (6) children.

    Why? – If there is any “Major Lesson” to learn from Hannah; it is that she Put God first!

    … Give me a child and you can have him – She Put God first!

    And the Bible says in Matthew 6:33 – Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

    Your Prayer this Morning (or as you read now on the Label of DMC) is going to be very Simple: Lord, I’m Putting you first in my Life; let Your Will be done in my Life.

    And the Almighty God will add unto you not just an “Ordinary Son” but a “Mighty Son” who will be the first born of many children – Amen!

    If you believe that, let me hear you say Amen – Amen!

    That is why if you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ; it means that you are not Putting God first yet.

    The first thing must be done first.

    If you are yet to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ, do so now.

    If you do so now, the Almighty God will exceed all your Expectations – Amen.

    So, I’m going to count from one (1) to four (4); if there is anyone here who is yet to surrender his or her Life to Jesus Christ; before I say four (4), come – Put God first and the Almighty God will Put you first.

    … So, I’m counting!

    Now, those of you who has come forward and those of you who are on the way; cry to the Almighty God: Ask Him to save your Soul, ask Him to have Mercy on you and forgive all your sins and Promise Him that you will serve Him from now on.

    And I can assure you that He will hear your cry.

    Now, the rest of us – Let us Stretch our hands to these our New Brothers and Sisters and Pray that the One who save our Souls will save their own Souls also, Pray that God will forgive their sins and receive them into the Family of God.

    … Let’s Pray for them Brethrens.

    Thank You Father, Thank You Lord.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION

    Saviour, Please hear the cry of Your Children, have Mercy on them, let Your Blood wash away their sins, save their Souls Oh Lord, write their names in the Book of Life.

    And from now on, anytime they cry unto You, answer them by Fire.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    Now, I’m rejoicing with those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ because from now on, I will be Praying for you.

    And so I will need your names, your Address and your Prayer Request.

    So, if you follow that fellow to your left lifting up a Piece of wood; he will take you to where some Pastors are waiting – They will collect the information that I needed and they will bring you back very quickly and I will be Praying for you.

    God Bless You; you can begin to go now.

    As usual, I’m going to Pray for you first, then you will go ahead and cry to the Almighty God and I’m sure that He will answer you today, He will exceed your Expectations – Amen.

    So, if you don’t mind, will you come forward to the Altar so that I can Pray with you first and then you go ahead and tell the Almighty God that you will exceed even His Expectations in serving Him.

    And He too will exceed your Expectations in giving you Wonderful children, Powerful children, children that will be known throughout History.

    Thank You Father – You can begin to Praise Him in advance because I believe He will answer you today (Amen).

    Thank You my Father; Blessed be Your Holy Name.

    SPECIAL PRAYER FOR THOSE TRUSTING GOD FOR THE FRUIT OF THE WOMB.

    My Father and my God; the All Sufficient God, the God with whom all things are Possible.

    I Thank You on behalf of all these Your Children who are here today (or reading now on the Label of DMC) – Father, look down from Heaven upon these Your Children and hear their cry.

    Even as You heard Hannah that day at Shiloh, hear Your Children here today.

    Because they have made up their Minds that they will Put You first; my Father and my God, hear their cry, exceed their Expectations, give them Mighty Children, give them Mighty Prophets, give them King Makers.

    And whatever number of children that you may give them as a result of today; let that just be the beginning.

    Glorify Your Name in their lives.

    And Please Lord, I know with You; All Things are Possible – Answer them this Month.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    Now, you go to God and cry unto Him until you are satisfied.

    And then when you are going; you drop your Offerings.

    But tell the Almighty God – Please, exceed my Expectations.

    I don’t want just an “Ordinary Child” – I will serve You, I will Put You first and even that Child will serve You.

    This is a Day of Transfiguration – And Not Ordinary Transformation, it is Transformation of Exceeding Expectations!

    I want you to first greet yourself: Happy Independence in Jesus Name – Amen.

    If you believe it, celebration is ahead in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

    Brethren, my Bible tells me in the Book of Isaiah 43:21 that: These People have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my Praises.

    If you know that God has formed you, God has formed Nigeria; what is the next thing that we should do? – Show forth His Praises.

    1. We are now going to rise up and Call the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ – Saying who our Lord is: The One that has formed the whole Universe, the One that is beautiful for every situation.

    … The God of Sixty One (61) Years!

    Shall we rise to Praise the Lord – We are formed to Praise Him.

    Give Him Praise from your heart – The Holy One of Israel, our Father, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Holy One and Just in all His Ways, the One that is Glorious in Holiness and Fearful in Praises, the God of Sunshine and Rainfall, the God that made the whole Universe, made us in His Likeness and Image, the One that can do all things, the God that will not allow the Expectations of the Righteous to be cut short.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Praised Him – Amen.

    1. Psalms 85:4 says: Turn us, O God of our Salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

    Brethren, Revival is now – Our Nation is starting her Revival tonight. And I’m telling you that: By this time Next Year if Jesus tarries; we will be Jumping for Joy here, our Exceeding Expectations will be manifested.

    We will cry to Him and say: Father, we want You to revive our Land, revive our Nation – Total Revival that will exceed our Expectations.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    1. I believed that we all saw the Youth when they were coming to make Pronouncements over our Nation – They came representing different States in Nigeria.

    And the Bible tells us in Psalms 126:4 that our Father should turn again our Captivity, O LORD, as the Streams in the South.

    … Because they kept on saying that: This is our Dream for our Nation.

    The same Psalms 126:1; the Bible tells us: When the LORD turned again the Captivity of Zion, we were like them that Dream.

    We are going to say: Father, make the dreams of our Youth come to Pass on this Nation. Their Outing tonight must not be in vain – The Lord heard them and must not allow their cry be in vain over Nigeria tonight and by extension to other Nations of the world.

    … Show us Your Mercy Oh Lord!

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    1. The Bible instructed us that we should Pray for our Leaders.

    And one thing that I found interesting there in 1 John 2:2 – That we should Pray for Kings and those who lead us in Authority so that we can live a “Quiet Life”, “Peaceful Life” and in all Godliness and Honesty.

    Which means that Leadership determines how Great you can be and excel in your Nation.

    That is why everyone of us will cry to God: Father, Please show our Leaders Your Mercy. Give them Wisdom, help them work and rule with Exceeding Great Wisdom so that we can live a “Righteous Honest Life”; a Life that will help You to be Please with us.

    Pray for all our Leadership from the Home, Villages, Cities, Church, Nations, Institutions etc.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    1. We are now going to Pray for our Greater Tomorrow.

    And anytime that I see the Youth; I am always Happy.

    Since they started this Convention, they have been basking in the Glory of the Lord; basking in the Power, Joy of the Lord.

    They didn’t think of other things than for God to be Lifted.

    We will Pray that, that Revival that has started among them (The Youth) will never cease.

    That God in return will give them their Expectations.

    That they will exceed in Grace, in Power, in their Career, in their Academics, in Good Health, in Guidance and in Victory.

    1. We are now going to Prophesy for our Nation Nigeria.

    Pointing to our Nigeria’s Flag – Whatever you say will happen – Say:

    I. Nigeria, your Sun will shine till the end of the Day.

    II. Nigeria, your Peace shall not be eroded again.

    III. Nigeria, you will be Head among Nations.

    IV. Nigeria, no evil People will rule you again.

    V. Nigeria, Righteousness will be your Portion.

    VI. Nigeria, no more weeping in this Land, no more Sorrow, no more Poverty.

    VII. Nigeria, you will shine and your Glory shall continue in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

    Whatever you say over this Nation Nigetis will happen in your Life!

    Amen and Amen! Let’s keep Standing, as we make our DECLARATION OF FRUITFULNESS in this Year of Fruitfulness:

    Are you ready? Well say with me:

    The Eternal God is our Refuge. He opens Rivers in desolate Heights.The Lord makes the wilderness a Pool of water.

    The LORD God is my Sun and Shield; The LORD gives Grace and Glory.

    Therefore, I delight myself in Him. Those who are Planted in the House of the LORD shall be Fresh and Flourishing.

    Though the Earth be shaken; the Name of the Lord is my Strong Tower. By Faith I affirm that: In Christ alone is my Salvation. In Him I live, and move and have my Being.

    It is written: The Righteous are like trees Planted by the waters; bearing Fruits in its Season.

    So I boldly declare: As for me, my God has made me Exceedingly Fruitful.

    In this Season, my Spirit bears Fruits of Righteousness, my Talents make Way for me. With my hands, I will Plant, I will Build, I will Harvest – Day by Day, Step by Step.

    So today, I am doing WORDS OF OUR SALVATION – And this is Part 6 of Words of Our Salvation. And my subtitle is ATONEMENT.

    Now, if you remember: in Part 1 we considered the term “BORN AGAIN”; and then we looked at the word “REDEMPTION”; we have looked at “NEW CREATION”; we have looked at “JUSTIFICATION”; and we have looked at “SANCTIFICATION”.

    And today, we are looking at the word: “ATONEMENT”.

    Atonement is a very Powerful word that you would find in the Scripture.

    Atonement basically, is the Process by which two (2) Parties that have been separated or enstranged are reconciled or made as one.

    So, the word ATONE is an English word – when the word started it was two (2) different words as one. And over time the two (2) words were joined together; Producing the word ATONE.

    Atonement basically is bringing People who are separated together.

    And in the New Testament sometimes, it is called Reconciliation – Bringing People who were apart together.

    But the word is found Primarily in the Old Testament.

    … That is the exact word – Atonement.

    In the New Testament you don’t find the word Atonement; but the idea is very Present in the New Testament.

    And so I will go ahead to talk about the three (3) Main Important Ideas that the word Atonement refers to:

    1. First, Atonement means “TO COVER” – To cover something.

    And when we use it Scripturally, it means when God hides our sin from His sight.

    Through the Process of Atonement, God covers our sins; or hides our sin so He that doesn’t see it.

    … That is the first meaning of Atonement – The covering of Sin.

    1. The Second meaning of Atonement means “TO REMOVE”.

    Not only to Cover, but to remove something.

    And that means that God doesn’t just cover our sin, but He takes away our sin.

    So, in the Process of Atonement, there is a Covering of sin; there is also the Removal of sin.

    Two (2) different things happen: The sin is COVERED, and the sin is REMOVED.

    1. And the third meaning of Atonement means “To AMEND” or “To MEND”.

    … When God repairs our relationship with Him.

    So as we look at the word Atonement, we should be mindful of these three (3) things:

    1. Sin that is Covered.
    2. Sin that is Removed.
    3. Relationship that is Repaired.

    And these are the things that God does for us in the Process of Atonement – It is another word that describes Salvation in Christ.

    Sometimes when you listen to Hymns, they would say: “My sins have been atoned for; or Christ has atoned for me; or I have received Atonement for my sin.

    Atonement always requires Sacrifice – In the Bible; and in the Old Testament we see it very clearly.

    We will look at Atonement in the Old Testament; and then we will later look at Atonement in the New Testament – Especially with Christ.

    And if you have read your Bible (and I supposed that we all read our Bible).

    If you have read it, you will find that much of the word is used from the Book of Exodus to Leviticus mostly. And sometimes in the Book of Numbers. And later in some of the Prophets, you find the word Atonement used.

    There are many ways in which Atonement occurs in the Old Testament. But the height of Atonement in the Old Testament is what happened in what is called the “DAY OF ATONEMENT”.

    And so I am going to focus on: “The Day Of Atonement in the brief time that I have.

    “The Day of Atonement” occured once – Under the Old Testament it just occurred once. And on that Special Day, Special Sacrifices were made for the sins of the People of Israel.

    And the Day of Atonement as recognised and is celebrated in Israel; this Year – The the day fell on the 16th September.

    And the Day of Atonement normally falls in September or October.

    On the Day of Atonement, a few things happen – And we will just walk through some of them and then I will specify them.

    At the beginning of the Day of Atonement, the High Priest is normally the one who celebrates the Day of Atonement.

    1. And he has to first atone for his sin because the High Priest is seen not just like the People.
    2. So he atones for his sin, does another Sacrifice to atone for the Altar and for the Temple, and the utensils of the Temple, because they have been contaminated by sin. And then, after he has done that, he atones for the sin of the People.

    Today, I am going to only focus on his Atonement for the sin of the People.

    At the beginning of the Process of Atonement for the sin of the People, the High Priest will bring two (2) goats, and Present them before the Lord and he will cast a Lot.

    Because the two (2) goats would do two (2) different things – One goat will be killed, and the other will be kept alive.

    And those two (2) goat talk about two (2) different aspects of our Salvation.

    … And I will take time to walk us through that.

    1. Let us look at what happens to the first goat that is used on the Day of Atonement – It is what is called the “GOAT OF THE SIN OFFERING”.

    And it is in Leviticus 16:15, and it says:

    “Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, which is for the People, bring its blood inside the veil, do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the Mercy Seat and before the Mercy Seat.

    … It is not for the High Priest, not for the Temple; but for the People!

    So this goat that was killed, its blood was taken by the High Priest; and the High Priest would go to a Place called “BEYOND THE VEIL”.

    What does “BEYOND THE VEIL” mean?

    Because, in the Old Testament Temple, there was a Place called the Holy Place. And then the Holy of Holies.

    Between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies, there is a Curtain and that curtain is what is called the Veil.

    So the Priest would take the blood, and he will enter the Holy Place.

    Now, the Holy Place is the Last Point where everybody gets to; the Holy of Holies you enter it only once and only one Person who can enter the Holy of Holies is the High Priest.

    And he can only enter on the Day of Atonement – Outside of that Day, if he enters that Place, he is gone!

    … Nobody else enters.

    So on the Day of Atonement, he takes the blood of this goat that has been killed, and he goes Beyond the Veil – Into the Holy of Holies and he does it only once.

    So, he goes into the Holy of Holies and then applies it to the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant.

    … These are very, very important things that happened.

    Now what does that mean?

    1. First, when the blood of that goat is applied, it covered the sins of the People.

    The killing of the goat showed that the Price for sin has been Paid.

    Why does that mean – The Price of sin has been Paid?

    Because “The wages of sin is death.” And since God cannot kill all the People for sinning because if He has to kill them, then everybody must!

    Remember, in the Book of Genesis, God said to Adam and Eve – “The day that you eat of this fruit you shall surely die.”

    When Adam and Eve sinned, they didn’t die but an animal was killed because its skin was used as covering for Adam and Eve.

    So, God requires that Man should die for his sin. But if He kills the Man, then that is the end of the Story – There is no repentance again.

    Instead of the Man dying, somebody dies in the Place of the Man – And in this case, it is the goat!

    So, the goat is killed – It showed that the Price of sin has been Paid.

    So, its blood is used to cover the Mercy Seat – Showing that the sin of the People (in the time being) has been covered.

    … That is the first thing!

    1. Secondly, it means that God has been reconciled to the People.

    The blood of the goat reconciled the People to God.

    Why? – Because that blood is applied to the Mercy Seat; and it means that God now has Mercy over His People.

    And now, because the Priest has gone through the veil, it also means the Relationship between God (in the Holy of Holies) and the rest of the People has now been opened.

    Because the door to the Holy of Holies has been opened, it brings reconciliation to the People.

    So, on the Day of Atonement that is what happened:

    1. The first animal is killed, its blood Poured on the Mercy Seat – To show that the sin has been covered.
    2. And a way has been opened for Relationship between God (Who dwells in the Holy of Holies) and His People who are outside of the Holy of Holies.

    The door has been opened because the Veil has been broken.

    … So that is the Second thing that happened on the Day of Atonement of the sin of the People.

    Then there is a Second Goat – This Goat is called a SCAPEGOAT.

    And in Leviticus 16:21-22, we see the Offering of the Scapegoat; and I want you to Pay Particular attention to this.

    It says:

    21 Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, concerning all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man.

    22 The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to an uninhabited land; and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.

    So, remember: one goat has been killed! This one is not killed, it is alive. And the reason why it is alive – It is showing us that there are two (2) Sides of Atonement:

    1. One required that the Price for sin be Paid – That is why the first animal is killed.
    2. The Second Goat required that the sin must be Removed – And that is what the Life Goat stands for.

    So, what happens?

    The life goat carries the sin of the People – It is not killed; it does not Pay for the Price, it carries it!

    And How does that Happen?

    The High Priest would lay his two (2) hands on the living goat and confess all the sins of the People; concerning all their sins for the Past one (1) Year.

    So, all the sins committed from the beginning of the Year up until that time are confessed – “We were liars, we were thieves, we were Adulterers; we did this, we did that; we cheated, we inflate Prices.”

    So all of those things are put on the head of that goat.

    This goat now represents the People: their sins have now been transferred on this goat – So you can say: “It is now carrying the sin of the People”.

    The first goat died for the sin of the People; the Second goat carries the sin of the people.

    … And it is very important!

    Not only does it carry the sin of the People; it removes the sin of the People from God’s Presence.

    So, when the sin has now been put on this goat, a Suitable Person is chosen. And the Person is asked to carry the goat and take it away from amongst the People; take it away from the Presence of God and from the People.

    And so this Person takes this goat which is carrying the sin of the People; leaves the Presence of God (The Temple area), leaves the Habitation of the People (where the People live) and goes to a Place that is Uninhabited.

    And when it gets to a Place that is Uninhabited, he releases the goat to go into the wilderness.

    That means that: not only has the sin been forgiven; but the sin has been removed from the People and from the midst of the People.

    And not only that, it means that God would not see the sin again.

    Why? – Because the goat has carried all the sin out of the People.

    So, in the Atonement, the sin of the People were forgiven; and the sin was also removed from the People; the People no longer carried sin because it has been removed!

    And the Scapegoat – That is where we get the English Phrase: ‘Scapegoat”.

    When we say somebody is a Scapegoat, it means that he is Punished for something somebody else has done.

    And that is the Scapegoat – It carries the sin that it didn’t commit; and it is driven out into the wilderness.

    Usually when that goat goes into the wilderness, it roams and roams and roams; and maybe a wild animal would find it and devour it.

    But the Purpose of it is to remove the sin from The People – And when that happened, Israel will now say: “Our sins have been ATONED for!”

    Because it has been forgiven, because it is gone from the Presence of God (covered); God has given us Mercy. And not only that, our sin has been removed from the Presence of God and from us – We no longer carry the sin any longer.

    That means the sin that has been forgiven is not still with you – It has been forgiven. But it is not only that, it has been removed!

    You know, many times when we talk about sin, we know our sin has been forgiven but we still think we are sinners.

    But the Day of Atonement says: “Your sin has been forgiven, you are no longer a sinner”.

    Why? – Because the sin has been removed – Not only forgiven, but removed.

    Atonement is a Complete Package that FORGIVES sin and REMOVES sin from the People.

    … That is the Old Testament!

    Now let us come to the New Testament – ATONEMENT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.

    How does it Happen?

    Atonement is what we call a Type or Shadow of things to come – So whatever is happening to the life goat and sacrificed goat; happened in the New Testament but in another form.

    1. The first thing we have to note is that, in the New Testament Jesus is the Lamb.

    He represents those goats (both of them).

    John 1:35-36 says: Again, the next day, John stood with two of His Disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!”

    … Behold the Lamb of God!

    Jesus is Portrayed in the New Testament as the Lamb of God.

    So in the New Testament, Atonement is not with goat. But Atonement is through the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ when he offered himself once and for all.

    In the New Testament, Atonement is fulfilled in Christ.

    Now I want to walk us through a few things that Christ did for us through His Atonement:

    1. First, Jesus Cleansed our sins with His Blood.

    … Just as it was done to the goat – But this time, to Jesus.

    Hebrews 9:11-12 says: But Christ came as High Priest of the Good things to come, with the Greater and more Perfect Tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His Own Blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained Eternal Redemption.

    I. Under the Old Testament, the High Priest was the one who entered the Veil and went to the Holy of Holies with the blood of a goat – To make Atonement for the People.

    II. In the New Testament, Jesus is the High Priest, and He also entered the Holy of Holies.

    But not with something else’s blood or another Person’s blood but He entered with His Own Blood. He went through the Veil with His Own Blood! And when He took His Blood to the Holy of Holies, He did for us what the goat couldn’t do – Because what the goat did survived only for one (1) Year!

    But when Jesus entered the Holy of Holies, He didn’t Purchased a One-Year Relief; but He gave us what the Bible calls “ETERNAL REDEMPTION”.

    He doesn’t die again, He doesn’t Sacrifice Himself again – His Blood has Purchased for us “Eternal Salvation”.

    That is the first thing Jesus did – His Blood is Superior to the blood of goats and cows. He has forgiven us once and for all.

    1. And not only does His Blood cleanse our sin – But just as the Scapegoat carried sin, Jesus also carried our sins.

    Not just forgive us, but He carried it. He carried our sins on Himself.

    1 Peter 2:24 says: Who Himself bore our sins in His Own Body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for Righteousness; by whose Stripes you were healed.

    … I am just excited about it.

    In the Old Testament, the High Priest would put his two (2) hands on the goat and confess the sin of the People; transfer the sin of the People to the goat.

    In the New Testament, the Father God Himself took our sin and put it on Jesus Christ.

    So not only does He forgives our sin; but He takes our sin.

    The Bible says: “He made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin.”

    Jesus carried our sin – Your sin, my sin; was transferred from us and put on Jesus – So He became the Bearer of the sin of the People.

    1. And not only did He carry our sin – He took Away our sin.

    John 1:29 says: The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

    *… Now why did John say that?

    John is thinking about the Scapegoat that takes away the sin of the world. And Jesus Himself also carried our sin and took it away.

    So How did Jesus take away our sin?

    I. Jesus, like the Scapegoat – Was sacrificed outside of Jerusalem; just like the Scapegoat would be taken away from Jerusalem, and taken out to be left in the wilderness.

    II. Jesus was taken OUT – Outside of the City. And when He was leaving the City, He was leaving with the sin of the People; just like the Scapegoat was.

    III. And when He was nailed to the Cross, our sin was nailed on the Cross. And God nailed our sins on the Cross.

    And that is why Jesus, after all said – IT IS FINISHED!

    The sin that has been forgiven has also been removed! When God forgives our sin we don’t continue to bear the sin. Why? Because the sin has been removed.

    That is why when a Person becomes Born Again, not only does God forgive you of your sin, but He removes our sin – So that we can live in Righteousness. Because if He doesn’t remove the sin, we can’t live for Him.

    … He removes the sin so we can live in Righteousness.

    You know, sometimes People say: “As for me, we are all sinners.”

    I can’t understand why somebody will say that because they sin even after being Born Again.

    But in the sight of God, when Jesus takes your sin away, God doesn’t see you as a sinner; He sees you as the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

    “How can God see me as Righteousness when I know I am not Perfect?” – Because on the Cross, my sin (Past, Present and Future) was laid on Jesus Christ. And He carried my sin away and gave me a New Relationship with God. So I can worship Him in Righteousness.

    … My sin has been removed; not just forgiven, but removed!

    1. And the forth (4th) thing that happens at our Atonement is that Jesus MENDED our Relationship with God.

    Colossians 1:19 20 says: For it Pleased the Father that in Him all the Fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on Earth or things in Heaven, having made Peace through the Blood of His Cross.

    … On the Cross, we were reconciled to God.

    The Old Testament Atonement lasted only for one (1) Year; it had warranty for one (1) year. After one (1) year, the warranty expired and it had to been renegotiated.

    But on that day when Jesus hung on the Cross, He took our sin, put it upon Himself; Paid for the Price of our sin and also carried away our sin. He purchased something Eternal for us.

    And the Bible says: Because of that, God has removed our sin from us – As far as the East is from the West. And that is why God can say: “Your sins and iniquities, I will not remember anymore”.

    Why does He not Remember it?

    Because it was taken away by the ‘Scapegoat.’ – JESUS Christ became a Scapegoat and took our sin away!

    You remember your sin; you remember what you did; you remember all your sins – That is why you can’t forgive yourself.

    If you could forgive yourself, then there would be no need of a Saviour. All God would have said is: “When you sin, forgive yourself’ and you are forgiven.

    But the Human Being is not capable of forgiving himself.

    Why? – Because we have a Memory! And because you have a Memory, you can’t forgive yourself.

    Even when you say: ‘Okay, I have forgiven myself’; you can’t because you will remember what you did last Year about this time!

    That is why God doesn’t rely on you for forgiveness – He relies on Jesus for forgiveness.

    … Jesus Himself CARRIED our sin and TOOK it out of the way!

    So although you may remember it in your head; in God’s Economy – HE HAS TAKEN IT AWAY.

    And that is why we should live by Faith in the Finished Work of the Lord Jesus Christ – Hallelujah!!!!
