    OPENING PRAYER

    Ancient of Days, we Worship You. The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending; the One who knows the End from the Beginning, we Worship You. Accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

    Father, we come before You again today; Please send Your Words to us and let the Power in Your Wurds Lord God Almighty bring Healings to Your Children and solve all their Problems.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

    We are continuing with our Series on: “GOING HIGHER” as we move on to Part 53. And we will be looking at 1 Kings 19: 13-14.

    1 Kings 19: 13-14

    1. And it was so, when Elijah heard it that he wrapped his face in his Mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a Voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
    2. And he said, I have been very Jealous for the LORD God of Hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy Covenant, thrown down thine Altars, and slain thy Prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my Life, to take it away.

    Last Week, we told you that God asked Elijah twice – Elijah, what are you doing here?

    And we explained to you that: God was asking the Question like a Teacher asking the Student some Questions.

    And now, the Student is now answering!

    The first thing that he (Elijah) said is: I have been very Jealous for the Lord of Host.

    Incidentally, there is a Point that we omitted Last Week because of so many other things that we wanted to discuss – And that is the fact that when Elijah heard the “Small Still Voice”; he wrapped his face in his Mantle.

    We want to ask – Why did he do that?

    The answer is that he didn’t want to see God.

    I’m sure that you know very well that before him, Moses has said to God – I want to see You. And God had told him that if you see me, you will die.

    If there is any beautiful thing there, it is that one day, we are going to see God. And the Bible tells us that when we see God, we shall be like Him.

    My Prayer is that on that Day when we shall see Him, you will be one of us seeing Him – Amen!

    But now, let us go to the answe4 of the Student to his test – He said that I have been very Jealous for the Lord God of Host.

    The word there that is outstanding is the word “JEALOUS”,

    What does he mean by that?

    There is a saying at least when we were Young that there is no “True Love” without Jealousy – Jealousy and Love go together.

    “True Love” must have in its manifestation a Good dosage of Jealousy.

    Oh you say: Is that Scriptural?

    Well 1 John 4:8 says: God is Love. He loves us so intensely (John 3:16) – For God so loved the world that He gave us His Only Begotten Son.

    And Exodus 34:14 says: God is a Jealous God. He will not tolerate rivals.

    When you are intensely in Love with Someone, you dont tolerate rivals.

    If you are keenly interested in a Lady, you want to marry her and you see her with another Man, fooling around. If your Love is Genuine, Jealousy will come forth.

    So, if Somebody tells you that I Love you, I want to marry you and yet you see him fooling around with others; you should know that Love is not Genuine.

    In Deuteronomy 6:5; God says: I Love you, I expect you to Love me back in return with all your Heart, with all your Soul, with all your Strength.

    And what does that mean?

    Psalms 97:10 says: You are to Love what God loves and hate what He hates.

    He expects you to hate evil Passionately – If you say you Love God, hate evil.

    David said in Psalms 26: 1-5 – He said that I have hated the Congregation of evildoers. I won’t even sit down with the Wicked.

    Talking about Jealousy, because if God ask you the Question and say: Son/Daughter, what are you still doing in the world? What are you doing with your Life?

    Because we ask the Question everyday and People answer casually – How are you?

    Many atimes, the answer just come without thinking – Fine!

    My liitle Grandchildren will say: I’m Good and I used to wonder – How Good is Good?

    Because, that is the Question God was asking Elijah – Elijah, how are you? How are things with you?

    And his (Elijah) answer is: I am still very Jealous for you.

    Let me give us some Examples in the Scriptures of those who understands what it means to be Jealous for God – People who loves God so Passionately and hates evil Passionately.

    1. Moses in Exodus 32: 1-20.

    Moses went to be with God, to spend time with God. Before he came back, the children of Israel had made an Idol for themselves.

    They said: This Moses we don’t even know what has happened to him; let us have a god that we can see.

    What was the reaction of Moses?

    Hey, he didnt just break the Tablet of the Lord – That is another Story entirely but what was his reaction to the children of Israel?

    He grounded the idol, threw it into water and said: Drink your god. You want a New god? A god you can see? – Go ahead, drink it.

    1. What about David in 1 Samuel 17: 26-51.

    Why is it that David said that I will go and fight Goliath?

    He said: Why is this Man defying my God? I can’t Stand this Man insulting my God. If I had to die in the Process of making sure that won’t happen, I will die.

    … That is Jealousy – All the others were hiding, they didn’t want to risk their lives.

    1. What about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel 3: 1- end.

    They said to the King – The God who we serve is able to deliver us. But if He does not, King Please think very well; we will not bow to your Idol. We refused to bow!

    If God ask you Brother/Sister; what is your Relationship with me? How far are you willing to go? How close are we?

    Are you willing to say: God, it doesn’t matter what happens; I’m not going to bow to the world?

    1. Take Peter in Acts 4: 10-20.

    They told him: Stop Preaching. He said that is too late. If you think that I should obey you rather than God, you Judge wrongly. But take it from me loud and clear: What I have seen, what I have heard; I will tell.

    Brother/Sister, when was the Last time that you Preach to People?

    I remembered our Younger days – We deliberately Park our cars at home and take bus to work so that we can have an opportunity to Preach in the bus.

    If you think that we will keep quiet, then you are making a mistake.

    When I was at the University of Lagos as a Lecturer, I started a ltitle Bible Study in my office during break – It wasn’t for the “Big Ones” o; it was for the Cleaners, Messengers etc.

    It grew so much that during break time, you can’t find a Typist at his/her desk to work.

    My Professor then – Professor Chike Obi of Blessed Memory called me one day and said: Adeboye, I know Nobody can stop you from Preaching. I said: Thank You sir.

    He said: Please, you are causing a Problem for us in the Faculty. I said that: But I only meet them during break time and he said that occasionally, we need the Typist during the break time.

    And I said that as an honour to your Position sir, we will move the Bible Study to after Office Hours. But I’m happy that you know that I am not going to keep quiet. If you have to take the job, you take the job.

    … Jealousy and Love, they go together

    I told you that we are beginning to get into Deeper Waters – We are going to get deeper as we go along.

    In Acts 5: 34-41; the Bible said that when they beat the Disciples for Preaching the Gospel; they went away rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer for Jesus Christ.

    What a Privilege that I am being beaten for Someone that I Love!

    Some of you Probably heard the Story of something that happened around 1961 – Of a Young School Girl who fell in love with a School Teacher.

    The Parents said: No, you are not going to marry this Man. The girl said that I’m sorry, this is the Man I want to marry, I’m in love with him. The Parents said that we will beat you to death and she said: Go ahead!

    And I mean that they beat her till her skin Peeled off but she kept on saying that he is the one I’m going to marry.

    Finally, the Parents has to surrendered – She said this is the one I’m going to marry even with the scars you inflicted on my body.

    Paul said in Philippians 1: 20-21 – He said: For me to live is Christ, to die is Gain; Provided Christ is Magnified.

    WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU MY BROTHER/SISTER IF TRULY YOU LOVE GOD?

    1. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 – The Bible says that you must abstain from all appearances of evil.

    … Not just evil, anything that slightly looks like evil; every appearances of evil.

    1. Matthew 5: 29-30 – Jesus Christ, your Best Friend says: If it is your Right Hand that is going to cause you to offend, He said cut it off.

    … That’s a serious Advice.

    If your Right Eyes is going to cause you to offend, Pluck it out.

    When we were in the University in those days and you are looking in the wrong direction; we say that yiu are committing “Lookery”.

    Jesus Christ said that instead of committing “Lookery”, Pluck out your eyes,

    I told you of a Youmg Man who said that he was always committing Adultery and then he became Born Again Christian and he Prayed a Prayer – Lord, the next time I commit Adultery, make me Impotent.

    … That is Jealousy, that is Love for God!

    If I am going to do that nasty thing again, if I am going to love anyone, anybody more than You Lord; take drastic Action.

    1. We are expected to depopulate the Kingdom of satan.

    Matthew 28: 18-20; He said: Go ye into all the world, Preach the Gospel.

    1. Acts 21: 8-14; you are even to do it beyond the Call of Duty.

    Because a Prophet came and told Paul – If you go on to Jerusalem, you are going to be bound there, you are going to be imprisoned there.

    He said: Is that all? He said I’m going. He said not only am I willing to suffer, I am ready to die – That is Jealousy. That is how you are able to demonstrate your Love for God.

    And many of you know of one of my sons who was a Pastor somewhere in the North and Boko Haram (DMC NOTES: Terrorist Group based in the Northeastern Part of Nigeria) came into his house when he was out. The wife had just given birth to a set of twins. They came to kill him because they knew the Pastor is the kind who won’t keep quiet.

    He wasn’t home and so they decided to leave a Message for him by slaughtering the twins. The lady was in Tremendous Agony.

    When I heard about it, I told my son: Come home, you have Paid a Price and God knows that you love Him.

    Do you know what he said?

    Daddy, you are the one who taught us not to run from Darkness and that it is Darkness that will run from the Light. I am staying here unless you compel me.

    … Tha5 is Jealousy – In Living or in Dying; I am yours Oh Lord.

    Will that be your answer?

    2 Timothy 4: 1-5; the Bible said that you are to Preach the Gospel in Season and out of Season – Everytime, everywhere.

    In 2 Timothy 4:7; the Bible said that you are to fight the Good Fight of Faith. You are to finish your Course, you are to keep the Faith – You don’t deny God for anything.

    There are quite a few that I have heard of and I’m not sure whether they are Christians or not – Who are ladies working in some Financial Institutions and they will give them a Target that you are to bring in so and so many Billions or whatever within a short Period of time.

    And they will go looking for People who will come and open Acciunt. And some of these People will say: Don’t worry, I will open an Acciunt with you Provided that you sleep with me.

    And some Children of God – I hope they won’t compromise.

    I know People who will say to them: Keep your Money. You and your Money go wherever you want to go; I am on my way to Heaven. I Love my God more than my job. Thats Jealousy!

    Jeremiah 6:16 says: Ask for the Old Path and walk in it.

    The Whole Verse says: Whatever is going to cause, I belong to God.

    That is the meaning of you saying: You surrender your Life to Him!

    It means: Whatever you want to do to my Life is up to you but I’m yours.

    Revelation 2:10 says: Be Faithful unto death and I will give you the crown of Life.

    Let me Conclude: In Johm 15:13; Jesus Christ said – Greater Love has no Man than this, that a Man lay down his Life for his friend.

    I still remembered like yesterday, a Military Head of State here in Nigeria who was visiting a Region in Nigeria – The Western Region. And some Soldiers came, they were about to Stage a Coup and they wanted to kill the Head of State.

    And the Military Governor of the Western State then said: Ha, he is my Guest.

    They said to him – We have no quarrel with you, its him we want. He said: You have to kill me first.

    He died for his boss – They killed the boss, they killed him too.

    How many of us are willing to die for our God!

    And He said: Greater Love has no Man than this; you should respond with equal Love.

    Years ago, when we wanted to bring the Church to Congo (An African Country); we were told when we got to Zambia that there was war in Congo and that we can’t go as we may die.

    We laughed – That will be a Pleasure that we died on the field working for God.

    Sir, you are a Black Man – They won’t know whether you are a Congolese or Nigerian. You don’t write Nigerian on your face. It does not matter.

    Thank God, today the Church in Congo is doing fine.

    Remember Proverbs 8:17 – It said that I love those who love me.

    Love is a Two-Way Traffic!

    If God asked you – Brother/Sister, how are you? Will you be able to say: I am very Jealous for you?

    May that be your Answers today in Jesus Name – Amen!

    ALTAR CALL

    And so, those of you who are listening to me now or reading now on the Label of DMC; when we say that we are surrendering our Life to Jesus Christ, is that is what you are saying?

    I am sorry sir/ma; but that is the Truth – The Whole Truth and Nothing but the Truth.

    But I want you to know – You are already under a Master and that Master is the devil. And Jesus Christ is offering you an Alternative – He is a God who loves you so Passionately that He already died for you. He is asking you to come, surrender your Life to Him and He will take over from there.

    Shall we Pray?

    If you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, just tell Him that I will rather submit to You, I will rather submit to a God who is ready to die for His Own Children than a god who doesn’t care about me; a god who will drop me when there is trouble.

    I will rather that You save my Soul – Jesus Christ, here I come!

    If you bow your head, if you mean that; I will Pray for you and He will save your Soul.

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

    Father, I want to give You all the Glory and Honour for Your Word; Thank You for the Power that is in Your Word.

    I want to Thank You for all those who has decided now to surrender their lives to You. Please, receive them, save their Souls; Oh Lord, move them into the Family of God, translate them out of the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of Light and let them be yours forever.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

    Those of you who has decided to accept Jesus Christ in Living and in Dying, I congratulate you.

    Please, be assured that He will take care of you – He knows how to take care of His Own.

    TOPIC: SHARING OF ADVISE FROM AN OLDER GENERATION TO A YOUNGER GENERATION

    Our Brothers and Sisters, Bishops, Apostles, General Overseers; shall we say the New Generation of Pentecostal Leaders.

    Thank You for inviting me to share with you at this Meeting. I wish I could come Physically, but unfortunately it’s just impossible for me to come.

    Thank You for honouring me by giving me a Topic to discuss with you.

    But you will Please Permit me to put the Topic aside because I feel led by the Holy Spirit to speak with you straight from my heart – It is not a Sermon, but just to share shall we say as an Elder to a Younger Generation.

    I want to beg you in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ – You see, I don’t want to embarrass you honestly speaking – I would have gone on my knees to say what I’m about to say.

    There is no doubt that the Older Pentecostal Leaders might have one or two issues but so do our Parents do: Our Parents – Our Mothers and Fathers our Biological Parents.

    They are not Modern but we still Value them – Because they did not go to the University, they don’t know about Greeks, they don’t know about Hebrews but they have certain information that you don’t get in any University.

    I remembered very well when I was trying to get my mum to get Born Again – She was telling me that: Look you boy, before I marry your father in 1910, I had been a Christian.

    I wasn’t rude to her. I didn’t tell her – Look Mama, things has Changed. The Christianity that you said you understood in those days is no longer what it used to be.

    No, No, No; I humbled myself before her.

    I told her to tell me a little bit about her Experience as a Christian – And she told me some very Wonderful, Moving Stories about how they used to fight all those Idol Worshippers who will bring charms to the front of the Church door and The Catechist (That is how they are known then); will come with the Bible, wave the Bible over whatever charm was Placed infront of the Church and then kick it out of the way and then set it ablaze.

    DMC NOTES: The “Catechist”; formally speaking, Catechists are defined in Canon Law as “Lay Members of the Christians Faithful, duly instructed and outstanding in Christian Life, who devote themselves to setting forth the Teachings of the Gospel and organizing liturgies and works of Charity under the direction of a Missionary.” Prior to the Second Vatican Council, the Chief Catechists at the Parish Level were Priests, Religious Brothers or Sisters. Since the late 20th Century however, Particularly in Europe and the Americas, increasingly the role of the Parish Catechist has been undertaken by the Catholic Laity.

    I listened with all attention at some of the Experiences that she share with me.

    But then humbly I asked – Can you remembered a Particular Stage of this your Christian Life where you said: “I Do” to Jesus Christ?

    Because He is the Husband of the Church and for a Woman to be married; she has to say: “I Do” to the Husband!

    I used Wisdom and God helped me and finally she understood what I was talking about and she gave her Life to Jesus Christ.

    And very humbly, I began to talk to her about Baptism in the Holy Spirit. And when I found out that things were getting a bit slow; I had to use other People to help me reach out to her.

    Finally, she got Baptised in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of Speaking in Tongues.

    Beloveth, I’m begging you: The Older Generation of Pentecostals, they have issues and I know them but they have Experience – There are certain things that you don’t learn in the Bible College.

    There are certain things that can only be learnt as you travel along this way. There are a lot that you can gain from them.

    Please, I’m begging you in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ – Don’t let Pride rob you of some “Tremendous Things” that you could gain from this Older Generation.

    Believe me honestly – Whether you believed it or not, they are going.

    If the Lord tarries now, many of us will soon be gone and once we are gone; we are gone!

    So before we go; now that Particularly we these Older Generations have humbled themselves to reach out to you – Respond!

    Please I beg you – Respond as you have a lot to gain!

    Ask our President – The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) President, Bishop Wale Oke; whenever we have an opportunity to hold a Meeting of our Members and People gather together under the Title of Apostles and one of the Younger People among the People who gathered there (I think I’m the oldest then). And we ask one of the People to share.

    When we sit down to listen to them, after they have finished sharing, when everybody is commenting; I always keep quiet because I have a lot to learn.

    The Old has a lot to learn from the New but don’t let the New think that they know it all because they don’t and that is the Truth of the matter.

    Ask Bishop Wale Oke, he will tell you that after everybody has spoken; to show you that I have learnt something, I will now go over the Sermon that whoever Preach had Preached – Point by Point by Point; and many atimes, I will come out with fourteen (14) Crucial Points that had been raised. Many times more than fourteen (14) and so much that even the Preacher will say that I didn’t say that.

    And I will say: You say this and this one followed!

    Let us learn one from the other!

    Whatever you want to say is wrong with the Elders ones, they have Played their Part. God is going to judge them on the Part they did; the best they could, based on their Limited Knowledge!

    But many of them are on their way out – Grab them now!

    And Please, you will need to respond Positively before it is too late!

    The Almighty God will bless this Meeting; He will be with you at the Gathering and He will Prosper your Ministries – Amen.

    As He has been doing, He will take to Higher and Higher and Higher – Amen!

    And I Pray that on the Last Day, in the Kingdom of God; we will all be there – Amen.

    In Jesus Precious Name we Pray – Amen.

    Please, help me give Jesus Christ a big hand of applause and be seated.

    By the Grace of God, my wife and I has been Part of this family for about forty (40) Years now. Its being our Privilege and our benefits to have been directed this Way by the Holy Ghost.

    Interestingly, no one introduced me to daddy – No, I heard from God directly. And its being awesome, its being beautiful these Past few Years.

    … And to God be all the Glory!

    Sir, we honour you and we salute God’s Grace upon your Life and it shall only be on the Increase and it will never go down – Amen.

    Moses took up a New Assignment at eighty (80) Years Old; God hasn’t Changed. Every New Things that God is showing you, He will bring it to Past in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

    What a “Large Heart”; what a “Humble Spirit”; what an “Ever Joyful, Anointed” Servant of God.

    We are blessed to have you in our own time and in our own Generation in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!

    I’m speaking tonight on: REJOICE IN THE LORD.

    Paul the Apostle said in Philippians 4:4 – Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 

    And he (Paul) went further in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 to say: Rejoice evermore.

    Let there be no Joyless moment in your Life.

    It is important for us to know that God will never ask us to do what He has not enabled us, engraved us, equipped us to do – He doesn’t tempt any Man with evil. Our Redemption is an embodiment of Joy!

    There is the Joy of Salvation according to Psalms 51:12 – Restore unto me the Joy of thy Salvation; and uphold me with thy Free Spirit.

    And we saw that facilitated by the Fruit of the Spirit, which are the Fruits of Redemption.

    And one of them is Joy according to Galatians 5:22 – But the Fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith.

    So, Joy is Part and Parcel of our Package in Redemption.

    When we are baptised in the Holy Ghost, we are endured with the Oil of Joy and the Oil of Gladness – Intoxicating Joy!

    So, we can move from the realm of Joy to the realm of Intoxicating Joy by the Holy Ghost.

    Romans 14:17: says – For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but Righteousness, and Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost.

    They thought that the Disciples were drunk when the Holy Ghost came upon then. But Peter said that they are not drunken at the Third Hour of the Day (The Bars not open). Tris is the Power of the Holy Ghost manifesting itself with Joy.

    So, when you are baptised in the Holy Ghost, then yiu have the Second Level of Joy at work in you.

    Jeremiah 15:16 says: Thy Words were found, and I did eat them; and thy Word was unto me the Joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy Name, O LORD God of hosts.

    Men and Women who move in Revelation don’t run out of Joy – Thank God for the Joy of Salvation, Thank God for the Joy of the Holy Ghost!

    Mark 4:11 says – And He said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the Mystery of the Kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in Parables.

    John 14:26 – But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

    So, we have the Joy of Salvation and the Joy in the Holy Ghost – So, we have no business being depressed. Redemption forbids Depression. Redemption is our escape route from the world of Depression.

    I therefore Stand tonight to curse every Bondage of Depression tormenting anyone under the Sound of my Voice or reading now on the Label of DMC – Amen!

    And then Revelation stirs Faith and Faith stirs Joy Unspeakable Full of Glory.

    1 Peter 1:8 says: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory:

    You rejoice with Joy Unspeakable Full of Glory and so everything around our Salvation stimulates Joy, stirs Joy and arouses Joy.

    Therefore from now on, no one will ask you again in your Life what is wrong – Amen:

    I. Your Look will no longer be wrong.

    II. Your walk will no longer be wrong.

    III. Your Outlook will no longer be wrong.

    IV. Your Disposition will no longer be wrong.

    … Everything shall keep on being right with you in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!

    And what more – Please listen to this: When we are saved, we are raised together with Him and make it together with Him in Heavenly Places.

    The Headquarters of Joy – He that seated in Heaven shall Laugh!

    … All they do in Heaven is: Laugh and Laugh and Laugh.

    So, when we come to Fellowship, we have come to the Heavenly Jerusalem – We have come to Jesus Christ

    Hebrews 12: 22-24 says:

    1. But ye are come unto Mount Zion, and unto the City of the Living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of a
      Angels, 
    2. To the General Assembly and Church of the firstborn, which are written in Heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of Just Men made Perfect, 
    3. And to Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant, and to the Blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

    So, being in Fellowship sustains the Joy of the Lord in our lives – The farther you are away from Fellowship, the farther you are from Joy!

    Enjoy the Fellowship of the Saint – Be in Church!

    Recharge the Battery of your Joy as you come into the midst of God’s People.

    And we are in Zion, we are in Heavenly Places and all we do there is Laugh and Laugh and Laugh.

    … Your Laughter begins today – Amen!

    There is no day that I have had the Privilege to talk with Daddy Adeboye that Laughter does not erupts – It must come from either side.

    … Laughter and Laughter 10 Years, 20 Years, 40 Years – My God, that shall be your Experience from now on (Amen).

    Someone once asked me – Brother David, do you ever have Problems? I said maybe I didn’t know.

    From now on, you have no business Fellowshipping with Depression, with Anger, with Tears in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!

    Now very quickly – WHY MUST WE REJOICE?

    Lack of Joy carries tremendous Cost and I will outline five (5) of them:

    1. Lack of Joy will lead to lost of Access to His Presence. And without His Presence, our Life cannot make a difference.

    Lost of Access to His Presence is a very costly Thing!

    Is any Merry? The Bible in James 5:13 says, let him sing – Is any among you afflicted? let him Pray. Is any Merry? let him sing Psalms. 

    And God inhabits the Praises of His People.

    You are Merry-Hearted, it erupts into Praise and God inhabits that Presence and that equals Supernatural, Unquestionable Breakthrough.

    How? – When they went out of Egypt, God was in their midst – The Sea saw them and it fled, Jordan was driven back, the Mountain skips like rams, and the “Little Hills” like lambs – This is accounted for in Psalms 114: 1-7.

    Everything that troubles others, tremble at your Presence when you carry God’s Presence

    From today, no door shall be shut against you by the devil anymore – Amen!

    Psalms 24: 7-10 says:

    1. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye Everlasting doors; and the King of Glory shall come in.

    8 Who is this King of Glory? The LORD Strong and Mighty, the LORD Mighty in battle.

    1. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye Everlasting doors; and the King of Glory shall come in.
    2. Who is this King of Glory? The LORD of Hosts, He is the King of Glory.

    Every Everlasting doors lift up their head at His Presence

    So, when you carry His Presence, you become a “Breakthrough Entity” in the race of Life.

    And what we see here today and across the Nations of the world, nothing can define Breakthrough beyond what we see – So Touchable, so Visible such that even the blind can see it that this is God at work!

    Why? – Joy paves the way for His Presence which has come to make the difference.

    May that become your Experience in Life – Amen!

    1. Lack of Joy will lead to Access to lost of Revelation. And Revelation is the trigger of Supernatural Breakthrough in Life.

    Therefore with Joy shall you draw Water out of the Wells of Salvation – Isaiah 12:3.

    Paul, a Man of unusual Revelation said: Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say Rejoice.

    And the Secrets of Men are in their Stories – The more Joyful we are, the Greater our Access to Revelation and the Greater the realm of Breakthrough will worketh.

    Philippians 1:18; talking about the Preachers who are opposed to him. He said: What then? Notwithstanding, every way, whether in Pretence, or in Truth, Christ is Preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. 

    So, Joy in Season, Joy out of the Season – That is what we call the Joy of the Lord.

    … He was under severe attacks but he said: Yet, I will Rejoice.

    Joy is a “Covenant Gateway” to realms of “Unusual Revelation”. And the more Revelations we catch, the more Change of Level from one realm of Glory to another that we experience.

    So, we have not seen anything yet in this Church – From Glory to Glory to Glory – Amen.

    Till when? – Until the Perfect Day when Jesus Christ comes.

    No Life here or reading now on the Label of DMC; will know a downwards trends anymore – Amen. It shall be from Glory to Glory until the Perfect Day – Amen. And that is until Jesus Christ returns – Amen.

    That shall be your Testimony in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!

    1. Joy is a “Covenant Facilitator” of Health and Wholeness.

    Proverbs 17:22, the Bible says – A Merry heart doeth Good like a Medicine: but a broken Spirit drieth the bones.

    The more Joyful we are, the Healthier we live!

    And Proverbs 18:14 says – The Spirit of a Man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded Spirit who can bear?

    If Joy grants us Access to His Presence, the Bible says that they go from Strength to Strength; everyone of them in Zion appears before the Lord.

    The last breakdown anyone here or reading now on the Label of DMC suffers is the last one you will ever know – Amen!

    Until our Spirit is broken, our body cannot be broken!

    I was trying to Pen down some few things on “My Little Story” – Autobiography. And then I looked at it in the last run and I discovered that Challenges were not put there. So, I put a Chapter on: “My Share of Challenges”,

    That you are rejoicing does not mean that you don’t have Challenges. But you are smarter than your Challenges!

    I need God but I can’t find God without Joy. And so I rejoice inspite of what is happening.

    “My Share of Challenges” is the best Chapter of that book that I think has been written. I wrote it Year in, Year out.

    But thanks be to God who always cause us to Triumph in Christ!

    From tonight or as you read now on the Label of DMC; in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, no one shall be crushed under Challenges – Amen!

    It is Challenges that makes Champions!

    You can’t be an Heavyweight Boxing Champion without accepting Challenges. You can’t say that you are not interested as you must – They will Punch you here and there before you can carry the belt.

    As long as you don’t give up, you carry the Heavyweight Boxing Champion belt at last

    In the Name of Jesus Christ; every Challenges facing you today shall be turn to a Testimony – Amen!

    1. Without Joy, we loss our Access to Divine Intervention.

    Habakkuk 3: 17-19 says:

    1. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
    2. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will Joy in the God of my Salvation.
    3. The LORD God is my Strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine High Places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

    You can’t Access Divine Intervention without Genuine Joy and Rejoicing.

    You don’t get anywhere casting down your head. You get through every Challenges rejoicing in the Lord at all times evermore.

    The Baptism is yours tonight in Jesus Name – Amen!

    And I believed that by the time this Special Holy Ghost Service is over; another you will be going back home – Amen.

    And it will be another you forever. Everybody will be laughing with you – Amen!

    The Bible says: God has made me to Laugh – He will make you laugh and all that heard will laugh with you and your Laughter shall be all through your Life in the Name of Jesus Christ (Amen).

    1. Lack of Joy will Rob us of our Rewards of Stewardship.

    Rewards for serving God is only guaranteed by Joy and Rejoicing!

    Deuteronomy 28: 47-48; the Bible says:

    1. Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with Joyfulness, and with Gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; 
    2. Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

    I heard that Word from the Lord in 1977 – Serving God with Joyfulness and Gladness of heart.

    In Joel 1:12 – The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because Joy is withered away from the sons of men.

    When Joy withers, Harvest Perishes; when Joy withers, Returns from our Labour Perishes.

    No one shall leave here in vain – Amen!

    Why? – He has not asked the Seed of Jacob to seek Him in vain (Isaiah 45:19). He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

    Everyone shall receive his own Rewards according to his own Labour – Amen!

    Please, don’t destroy your Labour by giving room to Satanic traps of Depression and Downcastedness.

    .., Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say Rejoice!

    May the Joy of the Lord in a New Dimension return home with everyone of us in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!

    Well – WHY MUST I REJOICE?

    1. We slept and woke up because He sustains us.
    2. We went through Fire and through Water; we are not swallowed.
    3. A thousand is fallen on your Right Side, Ten Thousand on our Left Side and none is coming near to us because He is awake keeping us.
    4. He saves our Soul that Money cannot buy.
    5. We are sure of Heaven at the end of our Journey here on Earth.

    OPENING PRAYER

    Please, lift up your two (2) hands and receive for yourself tonight – A Fresh Baptism of the Joy of the Lord!

    It is not the same you that came into this Service that will return back home. You are returning with “Multiplied Joy”; “Tangible Joy”; “Touchable Joy”; Joy that will never know a setback anymore in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    So shall it be – Amen!!!

    Give the Lord another Clap of Praise and be seated!

    Let’s rise up together as we take our DECLARATION OF INCREASE in this Year of Increase:

    Are you ready? Say with me:

    I confess today that Jesus Christ is my LORD and Saviour. In Him I have life, His Abundant Life.

    The Lord is my Light and Strength. As He is, so has He made me. By His Spirit I Increase in Word and in Wisdom. In Faith and in Favour.

    The Lord has said: “In Blessing, I will bless you. In multiplying I will Multiply your Seed.”

    So, I can boldly say: My God shall Increase me more and more. What I Place in God’s Hands grows into Overflow.

    Though I begin small, my end shall Greatly Increase.

    In this Year of Increase, I grow in Grace and in Strength. To be all that God wants me to be.

    In Jesus’ Name – AMEN!

    PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO ARE BURDENED.

    I just want to Pray a little bit for those who are carrying Burdens.

    If you came to Church this Morning or reading now on the Label of DMC with Sickness, Challenge, Burdens overwhelming you;

    The Breakthrough you need, the Divine Intervention; you need God set you free and Provide for you.

    This morning God wants to take your Burdens, and God wants to show Himself Strong on your behalf, and wants to lift your Pain from you.

    …. So if you need a touch from the Lord just lift up your hands to the Lord.

    Fathwr we Thank You that You are the Great Deliverer; that You are the Great Physician; that You are the Provider; You are the Glory and the Lifter up of our Head.

    And so this Morning we come before You as Your Children and we Place every Burden before You, and we ask Lord for a Divine Intervention. That in this Place, in this Atmosphere; your Power, your Presence would move every burden.

    And Father we Pray for Supernatural Activity in the Life of Your People. That Your People would experience Supernatural Intervention beginning from this moment.

    Beginning from now, Healing take Place. Beginning from now, Deliverance take Place. Beginning from now, Burdens are lifted. Beginning from now, Angels are on Assignment for the Children of God!

    Beginning from now, Testimonies are coming up, Good News is coming to us! Beginning from now, there is a Shift and there is a turning; we receive the Supernatural Intervention of the Lord in our lives.

    In Jesus’ Name – And everybody shout HALLELUJAH!!!! Amen and Amen!

    I believed God is working on your behalf, and there is a Miracle Packaged for you, with your name written on it. Nothing can stop it and nothing can delay it, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

    I am doing Part 2 of my Message – SHARING THE GOSPEL.

    Last week I talked about the Great Commission – Jesus told us to go into all the world, and to Preach the Gospel.

    And today I will just focus on: HOW WE DO IT – How we share the Gospel, how we make Christ known.

    … So this is Part 2 of Sharing the Gospel.

    Kindly go with me to 1 John 1:1-2 (NKJV):

    1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—

    2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—

    God had called us to be Witnesses.

    And a Witness is Somebody who gives Evidence to a case and talks about what they know about that Particular case.

    And what God has called us to do is to give Evidence of Him to the world.

    And there are four (4) things that the Passage says we can give Evidence to:

    1. First, it says we can give Evidence to what we have SEEN.

    What we have seen Christ doing in our lives; what we have seen Christ do in other People’s lives.

    So, if you are going to testify of Christ, you are going to share the Gospel – You are talking about what you have seen. You can’t talk about what you have not seen.

    So you can tell People – Listen, I know this Person in the Church, or I know this Person gave his Life to Christ, and Christ Changed them. I have seen it! Or I have seen it in my own Life.

    … First, we talk about what we have seen.

    1. Secondly, we talk about what we have HEARD.

    What we have heard is basically what we have read from the Bible. What we have heard People testify about. What we have heard Preached from the Pulpit.

    And that’s what we talk about.

    … So, we have heard it, and so we give Witness of it.

    1. And Thirdly, we can Witness to what we have EXAMINED – What we have handled, what we have come to settle.

    The Christian Faith is examined and Verified. It has stood the Test of time for over two thousand (2,000) Years.

    There are People who have tried so hard to overthrow Christianity for the last two thousand (2,000) Years – Some Violently, some with Knowledge, some with Information, some with Education, with signs. And Christianity has always stood still.

    You don’t have Faith is fragile and can easily be overthrown.

    You have a Faith that is firm and has stood the test of time.

    And you can also say – I have Proven my Faith in Christ, I have handled it, I have examined it, it is true. And you can testify about it.

    So we have talked about:

    1. What we have Seen.
    2. What we have Heard.
    3. What we have Examined;
    4. And finally, we can talk about what we have EXPERIENCED.

    When you have an experience, no one can do otherwise.

    So if you have experienced Christ, then you testify of Him.

    If you have these Four (4) Evidenves – you have Seen something, you have Heard something, you have Proven something and you have Experienced something; then talk about it!

    Every Believers, every Child of God, not just Preachers, but every Child of God. Every person who gave his Life to Jesus only today, can testify because, they have Seen something, they have Heard something, they have Examined something and they have Experienced something.

    If you qualify and you have these Four 4 Evidences, then you have no excuse not to share the Gospel with another Person.

    Each one of us can share the Gospel.

    Well I know sometimes People say – I don’t know too many Scriptures, I don’t know what to say. What if what I say is wrong?

    Well, if you have seen it, it won’t be wrong. If you have heard it, it won’t be wrong. If you have examined it, it won’t be wrong. And if you have experienced it, it cannot be wrong.

    …. So be Bold, Confident,and share your Faith with Somebody else.

    There may be questions you cannot answer but talk about what you have seen, you have heard, you have examined and what you have experienced. Alright!

    So, Evangelism or Soul Winning is more like a Lifestyle, than even an Activity we involved in. Because many times when we talk about going to win Souls, we imagine things:

    I. Maybe going to People’s houses to knock on their door. And what if the dog barks? Or what if I knock on the door and the Person comes and insult me?

    II. Or what if when I am trying to talk to Somebody on the Street and the Person just rebuishs me.

    III. Oh, what if I try to Witness the Gospel and People insults me? I will feel embarrassed, I will feel ashamed! And that’s why People find it difficult to share the Gospel.

    FOUR (4) STEPS TO SHARING THE GOSPEL.

    So I am going to talk about Four (4) Important Things you should be doing to share the Gospel.

    And I will talk about the Testimony that happened in my own Life.

    1. First Step to Sharing the Gospel is: LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE.

    Jesus said in Matthew 5:16 – Let your Light so Shine before Men, that they may see your Good Works and Glorify your Father in Heaven.

    Just Shine the Light! You are the Light, Shine it!

    And that’s the first way we make Christ known. Or the first way we share the Gospel is letting our Light Shine.

    And what does it mean to Let Your Light Shine? – It means we must live out our Faith.

    Before People hear us Preaching the Gospel, they must see us living the Gospel – The Life we live, the lives we lead.

    The biggest turnoff of the Unbelievers is a Christian who does not live out his or her Faith.

    Somebody who talks about one thing, but everything they do is very different.

    And when you go out just talking, talking, talking; but not living it; you will put People off!

    So first and foremost, to share the Gospel, our Light must Shine! We must be Doers of our Faith.

    I. If we say ‘God is Good!’ we must be Good.

    II. If we say ‘God is Love’ we must show Love.

    III. If we say ‘God is Kind” we must show Kindness.

    We cannot believe one thing and live totally opposite what we believe in! So let your Light shine, live out your Faith.

    And the other way to Shine your Light is: do Act of Kindness.

    Jesus Christ said that our Good Works must be seen – So that People would give Glory to God.

    Wherever we are – In our Office, in our Neighbourhood, in our families, we must live out our Faith and our Good Works must be seen.

    Be Generous, do things to help Others; Volunteer a bit of your time for a Neighbour; Share a Meal; Help out a family in distress; Open doors for People.

    Good Works would not save the Sinner; but Good Works would open the Sinner’s heart to the Message of Salvation.

    So do something in your Neighbourhood, in your Office that makes People know you are different!

    … Your Good Works helps.

    Because sometimes, unfortunately, Christians can be very mean and very, very wicked. And sometimes we can destroy People with gossip. We can be People who just put other People down.

    But what will happen if in your Neighbourhood, you are the one who doesn’t gossip?

    When People come to you to gossip, you say – You know what you are saying about this Man is not Good. I think you are destroying his name, you are destroying his Reputation.

    Don’t you think People will see you as a Good Person? And that when you come Preaching the Good News they will listen to you?

    But if you are the one spreading gossip about everybody, destroying everybody. You are fighting everybody – You fight in the Neighbourhood, you fight over where to sweep and not to sweep. And you are going through with all of these – In the office you are fighting over tea, fighting over bonus and you are fighting everybody.

    And then you come and say – Jesus loves you! Who is going to listen to that?

    So, let your Light Shine!

    … Everybody say: MY LIGHT MUST SHINE!

    Jesus say they must see your Good Works! They must see your Good Works!! They must see my Good Works!!!

    The first way we Share the Gospel is that we live out our Faith by Shining our Light.

    1. Second way we Share the Gospel is to LIFT CHRIST UP.

    Lift Him up!

    John 3:14-15, Jesus said: As Moses lifted up the Serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not Perish but have Eternal Life.

    When Jesus is lifted up He draws all People to Himself.

    We must learn, not only to let our Light Shine, but to lift Jesus up. Lift Jesus up. Lift Him up for the world to see. For He said, if I am lifted up, I will draw all Men unto me.

    HOW DO WE LIFT JESUS UP?

    … I will show you Two (2) Ways that we can lift Jesus up.

    I. First, we must celebrate the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Celebrate the Lord during your Celebrations. God gives each one of us moments when People come around us to celebrate with us, to be Parts of our world. It could be during our Birthdays, our Graduations, Engagements, Weddings, Baby Namings or even the Funeral of a loved one.

    There are moments in everybody’s Life when People come around you – People celebrate you.

    These days on Social Media, when it’s People’s Birthday they advertise that it is their Birthday. People are very bold these days – It’s my Birthday!

    And then they will get about a hundred comments, two (2) hundred comments. And people share their Birthday.

    When People celebrate us, we must learn to use that Celebration to Point to Jesus.

    So, when you have a Birthday Party, it must be an Occasion for you to show something that you are a Christian.

    When it is your Graduation and People come around, there must be something you do to Point to Jesus, to celebrate Him!

    Even when you have a Funeral and People come around you; what do you do there to advertise your Faith?

    In your home – What is there in your home for anybody to look at your home and say, oh, that is a Christian home? Or this Birthday – That’s a Christian’s Birthday, that’s a Christian’s Funeral.

    And I am not going to give you any Rules.

    You should know that there are certain kinds of Music that are incompatible with your Christian Faith.

    And if you bring People to your Birthday and you Play those Music and People dance to some of those very, very, very dances. And they do it there. And then you come and say: “Oh I am a Christian.” People would say: “Are you really sure?”

    Or buzz flow at your Party, and People are drunk and are misbehaving.

    How do you then come out to celebrate Jesus?

    So, let us be Mindful that our moments are Jesus’ moments, our Celebrations are Jesus’ Celebrations.

    And if we want People to come to know Jesus; the moments when we lift up Jesus in our Celebrations; the times when People stay around us.

    II. The other way in which we lift up Jesus is to Point People to the Lord.

    Point People to Jesus!

    You know, I like it when the Footballers and Sportsmen scores a goal; although he may not be the most Perfect Person.

    But he scores a goal and then he points to the Heavens.

    What he is literally saying is: I scored a goal, but I give Glory to God.

    Or Somebody scores a goal and kneeled down; Somebody takes an Award and shares a Testimony – These are very settled ways of making People know Who is the Source of your Success.

    … And if you are a Christian, you have to find opportunities when you Point to Jesus.

    So, you receive the Great Award and everybody says: Oh you are the best in your Field.

    When you were receiving the Prize what did you say about Jesus?

    Or you won the Award in your Office and everybody Praised your hard work. When you were giving back your words, what did you say about Jesus?

    You may not be the most Perfect Person, but there are sometimes People who hear you talk about Jesus would say – The world is Strange oooh! I didn’t know that Man too talks about Jesus. We must all Change!

    Because they know you as rugged; but your talking about Jesus makes People Ponder about their own lives. Especially when you are Greater than People and you Point to Jesus. Then People who are lesser than you are wondering: What are we here Pointing to?

    You are the Managing Director, you say I give Glory to Jesus. The Young Bank Teller will begin to wonder Woooow! If the Managing Director says Jesus is the Source of his Greatness, then Jesus must be really good.

    So for all of your ‘Big Men and ‘Big Women’ let Jesus resound from your mouth.

    And let me say this – Especially for those of you who works for Multinationals and International Organizations, where Jesus is totally off; find a way to sneak in Jesus.

    Because you know, the Unbelievers, they find a way to sneak in confusions, they sneak in everything. But somehow when anyone talks about Jesus, everybody gets uptight.

    Talk about Jesus any way because if He is in your Life, then you must let people know

    In your moment of Celebrations, you got an Award, you got an Appointment. And they say: “So and So, you got an Appointment.” You come forward and you say: “Thank you for the Award; I want to give all the Glory to God. Thank God for Jesus Who saved my Life.”

    People may say it’s inappropriate – Yes! But it will get into Somebody’s ear!

    So learn to Point up the Name of Jesus.

    … Let your Light Shine, Point People to Jesus;

    1. Third thing is to Pray for the Harvest of Souls.

    Matthew 9:37-38 says: Then He said to His Disciples, “The Harvest truly is Plentiful, but the Labourers are few. Therefore Pray the Lord of the Harvest to send out Labourers into His harvest.”

    This is the Power Room of the Gospel – You Pray for People. Because every Soul Winning effort is a Spiritual Warfare.

    Satan holds People and he is not going to release them until we wrestle those Souls out of his hand.

    And we have to Pray for Souls; and we have to Pray for many People to come to Christ.

    MY TESTIMONY

    And I will share a little Testimony here:

    You know sometimes in early 1978 (when most of you were not born); I used to see a Young Man who would walk Passed our home. I didn’t know where he was going to; I assumed he was going to work.

    But in the morning I will see him, sometimes in the evening I will see him walk by. And of all the People who walked, that I saw, something just said I should Pray for this Man – And I used to Pray for him.

    I didn’t know his name, I didn’t know where he was going to; but I would Pray for him.

    Anytime I see him, I would say – Lord have Mercy, touch him. Lord, open his heart to the Gospel.

    I didn’t know if he was a Christian or not; but I just Prayed for him.

    And I Prayed for him.

    Sometimes even when I hadn’t seen him walking in Town, I would remember the Young Man and Pray for him.

    So, sometime in the same 1978; I applied for and got a job. And I remembered that when I was going – My first day at work (it was a Monday); I entered the doorway of our Office (There is a Canopy infront of the Office).

    As I just entered under the Canopy going to the doorway, I Prayed a Prayer just at the door of the Office.

    And I said: Lord, I claim every Soul in this Office for You. That my Presence here will bring everybody to Jesus Christ and everybody to know You as the Lord and Saviour.

    That was my Prayer!

    I didn’t Pray for Promotion, I didn’t Pray for favour – I just Prayed that Souls would be won.

    And so I entered, I was introduced to my Boss. And the Boss welcome me and said well, let me take you to your Office. So he took me to my Office – There were five (5) spaces in my Office.

    And guess who I saw in that Office room? – The Young Man I have been Praying for!

    So I just knew God has brought me here for an Assignment.

    There were five (5) desks – One (1) was empty; which was mine. They said Mr. Otabil sit here.

    And this Young Man was sitting to my right, I’m sitting to his left.

    And so you know the Boss introduced all of us and he said well, this is Mr. Duncan. I said, this is Mr. Otabil.

    That is it. So I got to know this Young Man – He said: “I’m Joe” I said “I’m Mensa.”

    And so we became very good friends. We were both Artist and Designers.

    For about two (2) Years I didn’t even Preach the Gospel to him, I didn’t tell him I have been Praying for him.

    But after some time he just said to me – You know, you are different!

    Of course I was different because this Young Man, I got to know was very bad.

    Because on Monday when we come and everybody is talking about his escapes, the kinds of things he talked about, I couldn’t imagine he would be doing that. But the Chief of it was that he would be buzzing and womanizing and doing all kind of things.

    And I would say: Weekend, I went for a Crusade, I went to Preach – That’s my escapes!

    So we became friends, we did a lot of work together and became very good friends.

    Most times when we close from office, we get to a junction (we both walked); I would branched to a Prayer Meeting, he would branch somewhere else. And then we will regather and talk about what happened.

    And so one day – Two (2) Years later, he came to the Office and he says: “You need to Pray for me, my Life is miserable.”

    I said you don’t need Prayers, you need Jesus. Prayer would not save you, Jesus is the Saviour.

    He said but you have to Pray for me.

    I said, I have been Praying for you for a very long time!

    It was on Friday. And Monday he came to work very late. Of course he got drunk throughout the Weekend and had a hangover. He came to work around 11 O’clock and when he got in he said, Pray for me – Today something must Change in my Life.

    I said you know we close work at 5pm; we have to finish work.

    So we finished work and I said okay let’s go! I took him to a Classroom I used to Pray and I led him to Christ. And there was a Major Deliverance in his Life.

    … All kinds of things happened at that Prayer Meeting. But he gave his Life to Jesus Christ in 1980. And he has lived for the Lord Jesus Christ up till now.

    Most of us know him as Pastor Edwin Duncan – He is a Member of the Presbytery of the International Gospel Church; now Pastoring in London.

    So why did I share this Testimony? – I started Praying for him when I even didn’t know who he was!

    Sometimes God is going to lay the burden on you to Pray for People you don’t know. And I do that a lot – I Pray for a lot of People, just as I see them, I Pray for them.

    Sometimes as I am driving through the City of Accra (Ghana); I Pray for Neighbourhoods; I Pray for shop and the Shop-Owner. And I don’t know who the Shop-Owner is.

    I say Lord, I Pray for the Owner that he will come to know you.

    … Constantly Praying! Because Jesus says we must Pray for that, until we win the Spiritual Warfare for People’s Souls – Salvation will be difficult for them.

    So, we Pray for People as the Holy Spirit leads – We must open our heart as we Pray.

    The Seed of God’s Word only germinates in hearts that are open to the Word of God. And you have to Stand in Faith for the Salvation of loved ones.

    Sometimes you Pray for People or you share the Gospel with them and they resist it. But you don’t give up!

    This Young Man didn’t know I have been Praying for him, Probably about six (6) Months earlier to when I met him. And I have been Praying for him two (2) Years after I met him – That God will Prepare his heart.

    Because when you Preach the Gospel to an Unprepared heart, Jesus says, it is like the Sower who goes to sow the Seed. The syeed is sown but it falls on the Wrong Ground.

    Sometimes you have to wait until People’s hearts are truly ready to receive the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    And maybe the first time you spoke to them, their heart is not ready; Second time, their heart is not ready; third time, their heart is not ready – Keep Praying because God is working underground, the Seed would one day find Good Soil to fall upon.

    And each one of us must Pray! – Pray for your husband, your wife, your children, grandchildren. Pray for your Parents, your Grandparents, your Aunties, your Uncles, your Nephews, your Nieces. Pray for your Cousins, Pray for your In-laws, your School mates, People you like, People you don’t like. Pray for People who bug you, Pray for those who don’t bug you!

    Because it is in the Place of Prayer that God opens People’s heart to receive the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    So this morning, I just want to encourage you – Go out and Preach the Gospel.

    And I have told you about Three (3) Things why you have to share the Gospel.

    You can do simple things like Inviting People to Church (Using your Church Cards). You may not know what to say. But your Pastor knows what to say. So bring the fellow, your Pastor will say what has to be said for the Person’s heart to be open.

    The Person may not receive Christ the first day, or the Second day. But one day, that Seed will fall on Good Ground. And it will bear Fruit of Salvation.

    This Morning, I want us all to Pray and ask that God will make us Soul Winners for His Kingdom; that each one of us, in our Circle of Influence would share the Gospel with Somebody.

    … Just Pray and ask the Lord to use you to make the Gospel known unto Somebody.

    CLOSING PRAYER

    Father we Thank You for Your Word which is Life; Your Word which is Light.

    Thank You for Your Children who you have Called. Thank You that You delivered us from Darkness into your Precious Light.

    And this Morning, we Dedicate ourselves to be the Sharers of the Gospel.

    And Father in the ways that we talked about, help us Lord to Shine for You, to live out our Faith, and to lift Jesus up.

    And help us Lord to know how to Pray for Souls to be saved. And teach us how to share the Gospel wherever we are.

    In Jesus’ Name – Amen and Amen!

    Thank You Lord Jesus!

    Our daddy and mummy, I want to Thank You for this Special Privilege you have given me this Morning to Stand before God’s People to share the Word of God with them. May the Lord continue to honour you sir and ma in Jesus Name – Amen!

    OPENING PRAYER

    Father Almighty, we Thank You for this Day – We Thank You for Your Faithfulness, and for Your Mercy over Your Children (Over daddy and mummy and over all Your Children all over the world).

    Thank You that You can be Trusted, Thank You for all You have done, what You are doing and what we are yet to see You unfold before our eyes. Father, accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus.

    Thank You for what You did on Thursday, Thank You for what You did on Friday, Thank You for what You did Yesterday (Saturday) and Thank You for what You are going to do Today (Sunday). Thank You for Greater Things ahead of us as a Church and as Individuals – Father, accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus.

    Father, as we go into Your Words this Morning, Please speak to us in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let Your Words come to us, let Your Words come for us, let Your Words add Values to our lives today and let Your Name alone be Glorified,

    Father today, You alone be seen, You alone be heard, You alone be Glorified.

    Let us Please open our Bibles to the Book of Psalms 92: 1-5.

    1. It is a Good Thing to give Thanks unto the LORD, and to sing Praises unto thy Name, O Most High:
    2. To show forth thy lovingkindness in the Morning, and thy Faithfulness every Night,
    3. Upon an Instrument of ten strings, and upon the Psaltery; upon the Harp with a Solemn Sound.
    4. For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy Hands.
    5. O LORD, how Great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very Deep.

    May the Lord bless the reading of His Words in Jesus Name – Amen!

    We are here this Morning to the Glory of God for Thanksgiving Service and to give Thanks.

    1. Who are we here to Thank?

    The answer is Simple – It is our Great God.

    1. What are we to Thank God for?

    The answer is Simple – Several Things:

    I. We need to Thank Him for who He is – He is a Very Great God.

    In our Bible Text of today (Psalms 92: 1-5); King David told us to Thank and sing His Praises because He is the Most High God.

    II. We are here also to Thank Him for all He has continue to do in our lives as Individuals and in our midst as His Church.

    III. King David says here: God, that His Acts are Mighty.

    So, we are here to Thank God for His Mighty Acts in our lives, in the Church and in our Generation.

    In the Past Holy Ghost Services, He has shown His Might in saving Souls, Healing, Delivering and Setting Free.

    In this Edition of the RCCG Holy Ghost Service (March 2022 Special Holy Ghost Service); God has saved in Multitudes, He has Healed in Multitudes, He has also delivered in Multitudes. Now, we cannot talk about the Special Holy Ghost Services without talking about our daddy – The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). To whom God gave this Great Visions to Years ago.

    There is a Need, if not a huge debt that we all owe God concerning what God is doing in our midst as a Church.

    One day, I started thinking and I asked myself – Which am I really Thanking God for? Is it that God brought our daddy into The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) or that God broughtThe Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) His Covenant Church to our daddy (Daddy Adeboye)?

    I Pondered over that thought for quite sometime and I realised that I need to Thank God for both.

    And that day; it was one of the Story of Apostle Paul that I was reading.

    As Saul of Tarsus, we knew what he did to the Early Church. Then God grabbed him and he became a Mighty Vessel in God’s Hands.

    There is a huge Capacity that God has deposited in the Life of our daddy and Thank God that God saved him and began to help him to use the Gilts for His Kingdom.

    Now, God could have saved our daddy and Planted him in another Place but because God Specially loved The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); God brought him here for us.

    Now, as the need for Hannah for a son coincided with God need for a Prophet, which led to the birth of Samuel; I Perceived so in the Story of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and our daddy GO.

    IV. No wonder, David added in Verse 5 of our Bible Text (Psalms 92:5) as an Additional Thing for us to Thank God for.

    David said that: The thoughts of God are very Deep.

    The Bible says His Worship and Understanding are Past finding out.

    In Jeremiah 29:11-13; God said concerning you that is here this Morning or reading now on the Label of DMC:

    1. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of Peace, and not of evil, to give you an Expected End.
    2. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and Pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
    3. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

    This is what I believed that God wants me to share with us today – We need to be very Grateful to God!

    This Year 2022; The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) as a Church is seventy (70) Years Old; by the Grace of God, we are rejoicing that our daddy (Pastor E.A Adeboye) is eighty (80) Years Old and the Special Holy Ghost Service became thirty six (36) Years Old.

    What a Marvelous God we have – Hallelujah!

    My Prayer is that because He has counted us worthy to be Part of this Body of Christ, Part of what God is doing through our daddy; we will not miss our Destiny in Jesus Name – Amen!

    I want us to rise up on our feet this Morning – Get a Song of Thanksgiving of your own to tell Him: Lord, I acknowledge that You are the Most High God, You are the One whose Acts are Mighty, You are the One whose thoughts are very Deep and You are the One whose thoughts towards me are very, very Good.

    I want you to Pick your Song as Individual and say: Father, I Thank You for who You are – You are the Most High God. Thank You for Your Mighty Acts in my Life – If it has not been Mighty, many of us won’t be alive today. Thank You for Your Deep thoughts, Advance Knowledge, Master Plan for Your Church – The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Your son and mummy and all of us as a whole.

    ALTAR CALL

    There are some of us here this Morning, we have not given our Life to this Great God that we are trying to talk about briefly here.

    I believed God is calling us to take that decision today – Maybe you are joining us for the first time this week or you have been here all along.

    The Bible says in the Book of Isaiah 55: 6-7 that:

    1. Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near:
    2. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the Unrighteous Man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have Mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly Pardon.

    You might look at yourself and say: I’m not wicked. But I want to tell you the meaning of wickedness this Morning – Perhaps you don’t know.

    A “Wicked Person” is Someone who repays Good with Evil.

    The Bible says that: For God so Love the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever will believe in Him will not Perish but have Everlasting Life.

    So, how have we (Those of us who has not given our lives to Jesus Christ) repays God for His Love and Goodness?

    That is where Wickedness comes in.

    But you can stop being Wicked today – You can come into the Righteousness of Jesus Christ and then your Story will Change for the better.

    You can relocate from where you are and come to the side of Jesus Christ.

    The Bible says in Acts 4:12 – Neither is there Salvation in any Other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among Men, whereby we must be saved.

    Salvation is a MUST and Only Jesus Christ makes it available!

    So, whoever you are, wherever you are; you have not yet been Born Again, Please come forward today – Come and receive Jesus Christ into your heart. Let Him transform you, let Him wash away all your sins, let Him give you a New Beginning.

    Please come to the foot of the Altar – The Lord is waiting for you there.

    As you turn over your Life to Him; your Life will Change for the better – Amen.

    Perhaps, God will use you to do Greater Things than what He is using daddy for today.

    Come and meet that God that Changes Life, Transform Destinies and bring a Man to His Divine Plans.

    God Bless You as you come to Jesus Christ.

    The rest of us, let us rise on our feet and thank God for all He has done for us this week, in the Past and Greater Things He will still do by the hands of our daddy.

    Thank You for all the Souls that has been won as they too will become Great Vessels in the Hands of the Lord.

    Ask God for a Brand New Beginning for them.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

    Father Almighty, we are Grateful once again this Morning.

    You said that there is No one who can come to You unless those who are drawn.

    Thank You for those You have drawn before in addition to those you have drawn this Weekend.

    Please, have Mercy on them in Jesus Name; forgive all their sins in Jesus Name; today my Father, write their names in the Book of Life in Jesus Name.

    And when you will come back very soon – Both they and all of us, Please count us worthy to reign with You in Jesus Name.

    As we continue in this Service Lord; our Acts, let it be full of Thanksgiving in Jesus Name.

    And Greater Things Please, do through Your Son and through this Church in Jesus Name.

    Blessed be Your Name our Father.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we Pray – Amen.

    TOPIC: SHARING THE GOSPEL – PART 1

    Let’s rise up together as we take our DECLARATION OF INCREASE in this Year of Increase:

    Are you ready? Say with me:

    I confess today that Jesus Christ is my LORD and Saviour. In Him I have life, His Abundant Life.

    The Lord is my Light and Strength. As He is, so has He made me. By His Spirit I Increase in Word and in Wisdom. In Faith and in Favour.

    The Lord has said: “In Blessing, I will bless you. In multiplying I will Multiply your Seed.”

    So, I can boldly say: My God shall Increase me more and more. What I Place in God’s Hands grows into Overflow.

    Though I begin small, my end shall Greatly Increase.

    In this Year of Increase, I grow in Grace and in Strength. To be all that God wants me to be.

    In Jesus’ Name – AMEN!

    I am going to do a two-Part Message, beginning from this week and next week. And I have Titled it: SHARING THE GOSPEL.

    So I begin with what has been called the Great Commission in Mark’s Gospel 16:15-16.

    Mark 16:15-16 (NKJV):

    15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and Preach the Gospel to every Creature.

    16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

    This is Jesus speaking to His Disciples after He had resurrected and had been with them for a while. And He’s just about to ascend to Heaven.

    And He leaves this Final Instructions to His Disciples. And by extension, to us. As to what we should be doing in the interim, between His First Coming and His Second Coming because Jesus is Coming again!

    And that’s what the Scripture Promise us – He is Coming Again.

    In between the time He left and the time He returns, He says, this is what we should do.

    And there are Two (2) Main Commands there that I just want to draw your attention to:

    1. First is “GO INTO ALL THE WORLD.

    I want you to take note of the two (2) words: ‘Go’ and ‘world’.

    The word ‘go’ is the word Movement! You cannot hear ‘GO’ and stay.

    It is a Command, it’s a Verb, it’s an active word.

    And so Jesus Christ told His Disciples – “GO.” Move!

    So “Going” implies that we are going to move from one Place to the other – “… Go into all the world!” Go into every Parts that is inhabited on this Planet.

    And that’s what Jesus wants us to do. He wants us to go into all the world. He wants us to go into every Countries, every Ethnic Groups, go into every Space.

    1. And the Second thing He told us to do is: “PREACH THE GOSPEL.

    So we don’t go into all the world to advertise ourselves; we go into all the world to Preach the Gospel.

    The word ‘Preach’ simply means to make an Announcement. Or make a Proclamation. To Proclaim something.

    It is very similar to what happens in our Villages (I wonder whether it still happens). But in most Villages there is the Town Crier.

    And the Town Crier, when the Chief has a Message, would take the gongon (Something like a Bell); and would go to the Village Square and Announce.

    The Greek word that is interpreted as ‘Preach” is the same as one who heralds. It is very similar to Town Crier who goes to make an Announcement.

    So Jesus says: Go into the world and Announce something.

    What are we supposed to Announce? – We are supposed to Announce the Gospel; The Good News.

    Each one of us is called by God to Partake in going to the world and Preaching the Gospel – Everyone of us.

    This is not just for Pastors; it is for everyone of us.

    In the days of Jesus – And you know that the days of Jesus were the days of the Roman Empire; this idea of announcing Good News was associated with War.

    Because when they went to war – Remember those days there was no Facebook, no Internet, no CNN (Cable News Network) and there was no GBC (Ghana Broadcasting Corporation) in Ghana. Something like NTA (Nigerian Television Authority) as well in Nigeria.

    And so, if you have to get a Message Somebody has to Physically run from the battlefront to the City to make an Announcement.

    And the Person who does that, they will say that he is announcing Good News or he is speaking to her Gospel.

    So the term was in existence before Jesus used it. And it meant Somebody who brings Good News from afar! – He comes to tell us the battle is Victorious and we have won! And the whole City rejoices.

    … And that Person is said to have brought Good News.

    But Jesus said we should do the same thing. But the Good News we announce is the Good News of His Kingdom.

    He also wants us to announce to the world – “The Battle is over!” (As Kwame Nkurumah said). And there is Freedom from sins and Freedom from Satan.

    DMC NOTES: Kwame Nkrumah PC was a Ghanaian Politician, Political Theorist, and Revolutionary. He was the First Prime Minister and President of Ghana, having led the Gold Coast (Former name of Ghana as at then) to Independence from Britain in 1957. He was born on the 21st of September 1909, in Nkroful, Ghana and died on the 27th of April 1972. He was married to Fathia Nkrumah (1957–1972).

    So when we go out, we are the ones who are announcing what God has already achieved for His People.

    Romans 1:16 tells us what the Gospel contains – It says: For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the Power of God to Salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

    … Remember he said the Gospel of Christ; not the Gospel of any Pastor, not even the Gospel of our Church – It is the Gospel of Christ!

    So what does the Passage say? – The Passage is telling us that the Gospel is the Power of God to save.

    Anytime we Preach the Gospel, God’s Power to save is on demonstration.

    WHAT IS GOD SAVING US FROM?

    … Two (2) Things I will want to focus on:

    1. He saves us from the Control of Satan.

    When we announce the Gospel, we are telling People – God has freed us from the Power of Satan.

    That is why the Preaching of the Gospel cannot be about how Powerful Satan is.

    The Preaching of the Gospel must be about how Powerful God is – To deliver us from Satan.

    You cannot talk about the Power of witches and wizards, and call that the Gospel because that is Bad News.

    The Power of the Gospel says: God has delivered you. Just like the old time Person in Ancient Rome would run from the battlefront and say – We have won!

    Anytime we Preach the Gospel, we are saying: “God won! Jesus won! The Power of Satan is broken! We went to the warfront, we saw what happened and we have come to announce to you that we have won the battle!”

    The Gospel is a “Victorious Message”; it is not a “Defeatish Message”. It is a Message that tells us, Satan has been defeated and God won!

    Not that; the Gospel also tells us that God saved us from the Power of sin. Sin has no dominion over us!

    Adam’s sin (which condemned the whole world to Judgment) has been overcome!

    The Gospel is the Power of God to free us, to save us from Satan’s Control and from the Power of sin.

    Anytime you and I go somewhere and say we are going to Preach to Somebody; or we are going to tell Somebody about Christ; we are going to Witness the Gospel, or we are going on Soul Winning:

    I. We have to be sure that the Message we carry is not a Message of defeat.

    II. We have to be sure that the Message we carry does not exalt the devil,but it exalts Christ – Because that is the Good News!*

    … Just taking the Microphone and Preaching does not mean you are Preaching the Gospel.

    You know sometimes People think that Gospel is criticizing Human Behaviour. Many times you see by the roadside, very enthusiastic well-meaning sincere People Preaching.

    And all they are talking about is – The skirts of the girls and what they are doing, what they shouldn’t be doing, what People are doing wrong. And sometimes we even go to the extent of criticizing: how People behave at home, at work and all of that!

    … Well, it’s good to talk about Societal ills. But that is not exactly the Gospel.

    The Gospel is not criticizing People’s skirts. The Gospel is about announcing that there was a Battle. And in that battle, it was between Jesus and the forces of Darkness. And we have come from the battlefront to announce to you that Jesus won the battle.

    And because of that Satan has no Power, and his Control over you is broken.

    … That is what we announce!

    Even if you don’t like the Person; or Somebody is wearing a skirt you don’t like and you feel very compelled the criticize the skirt; you have to leave that criticism for another time.

    But when you are Preaching the Gospel, it is to announce the Victory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Because that is what He charged us to talk about. Alright!

    WHO PREACHES THE GOSPEL? AND WHO MUST HEAR THE GOSPEL?

    Romans 10:13-15, and it says: For “whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a Preacher? And how shall they Preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who Preach the Gospel of Peace, Who bring Glad Tidings of Good Things!”

    That is quoting from Isaiah 52:7 – How beautiful upon the Mountains are the feet of him who brings Good News, Who Proclaims Peace, Who brings Glad Tidings of Good Things, Who Proclaims Salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

    … That’s the Gospel – God Reigns! God is the Ruler. Satan is defeated

    But there are questions that we have to answer. And that question is divided into Two (2) set of People:

    1. THE PROCLAIMER OF GOOD NEWS.
    • Who qualifies to Proclaim the Good News?
    • Who is supposed to go out and tell the Gospel?
    • Who is supposed to go and make Christ known?
    • And what puts us in a Place to do that?

    I. The Proclaimer of the Good News is first and foremost, a Person who is saved and sent by Christ.

    He has experienced Salvation, and he is going to tell others what he has experienced.

    He saw something, and he must go and tell People what he saw. That is what it means to Witness.

    When you are Witnessing something: you have had an experience of it. You have encountered it, you have seen it. And now you are testifying what you saw it, that you heard it.

    So for us to Preach the Gospel, we should have an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Because if you haven’t encountered Him you cannot go and Witness that you know Him.

    You know, there are times that People talk about People as if they know them. And then when they meet the People, you realised they don’t know them.

    I will never forget when we were talking to Somebody, he said Oh Otabil, I know him. We grew up together.

    You know normally when People say that, they are going to say something bad: Oh he thinks he’s Somebody now. We knew him when he was a small boy.

    Finally I said, I don’t really know this Person. I can’t figure out. I can’t recollect the name. So I said, let’s go see this Person who knows me very well, better than myself.

    Incidentally we met the Person at the Airport. And so the one who he has been telling me this guy says he knows me, said “this is him.” So I looked at him, he looked at me. I said “where do we know each other?” – Nowhere!

    … That is called a “False Witness”.

    So it’s like Somebody who says – Jesus Christ saves! Jesus is the Saviour. Has He saved you? Have you met Jesus? Have you experienced Him? What you are talking about, has He done it for you?

    Because if you don’t have an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, you cannot be telling People about Him.

    So the Proclaimer of the Gospel; in order not to be a False Witness, must be Somebody who has experienced what he is talking about – I have been saved, Christ has touched my life, He has cleansed my life. And based on that, He has sent me to come and tell you something about Him.

    … You need to experience Him first!

    And there are People talking about Christ, who have not experienced Him. They are like that guy who said he knows me and has no clue.

    He Probably knows me on Television. And when you encounter them, they fumble.

    But when you really know Christ, you may not know everything about Him.

    … Next week I am going to talk about different ways of witnessing Christ.

    But I remember a blind man who was healed by Jesus. People said, well Jesus is this, Jesus is that way. He said well, I don’t know ooo. All I know is “once I was blind, now I can see.”

    So take it or leave it; that is as far as my Witness can go! I can’t talk about leg, I can’t talk about ear. I can’t talk about Doctrine. But I can talk about what He has done for me.

    A Proclaimer of the Gospel must have an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.

    It is based on the fact that He has saved you, that He has sent us.

    II. And the Proclaimer of the Gospel must go to where People are.

    The Passage says to those whom God sends, their feet are beautiful – “How beautiful are the feet of those who Preach the Gospel of Peace, Who bring Glad Tidings of Good Things!”

    What does it mean?

    Does it mean they are wearing Good shoes? – No! It means their walk is well.

    It means, you know – you are very thirsty in a wilderness, dying of thirst. And Somebody comes and says: “I have water!”

    In our language we say: “He has walked well.” His feet are beautiful because he has come with Beautiful News.

    So the Bible says, those who carry the Good News, their feet are beautiful. It doesn’t mean they are wearing nice shoes. It simply means their Message is so needed. That for those who need it, it is a relief to them.

    They have come well; they have done at the right time; they have given their Message in a timely way, and their Message is a Good News.

    “… How beautiful are the feet of those who Preach the Gospel of Peace, Who bring Glad Tidings of Good Things!”

    III. And those who Preach the Good News (the Passage says) they go on Mountains.

    … They do whatever it takes to get to where People are.

    And those whom God sends they Proclaim the Good News. They announce God’s Peace and God’s Salvation.

    God’s Peace! – They don’t announce God’s quarrel, but God’s Peace. Peace with God.

    Even if we have to talk about the sins of People, we must talk about it and end by telling them – Jesus has died for all of those sins. And if you believe in Him your sins have been forgiven.

    You can’t condemn People by Preaching the Gospel.

    You must always show them to what Jesus Christ has done – That their sins can be forgiven, because Jesus has died for them.

    And everytime we Preach the Gospel – That is the Message; we are Preaching, Announcing Peace, Proclaiming News of Happiness – “Our God reigns!”

    … So that is for the Proclaimer of the Gospel.

    1. THE ONE WHO NEEDS THE GOOD NEWS.

    What about the one who receives the Gospel? Or the one who needs Good News?

    I. They must HEAR the Good News.

    Now imagine a thirsty man (like I said earlier) who is dying of thirst. You are.coming to bring him Good News, and you tell him – “Oh I’m so sorry for you, I just Passed by a well when I was coming. And the well was full of water.”

    … That’s not Good News to him! – You are telling him about something somewhere!

    Because as for the thirsty man, the Good News is not just the News about the existence of water, but what he wants you to say is: “When I Passed by the well I fetched some of the water to bring to you.”

    … That is Good News to him.

    It is not just talking about the well, but that you carried some of the water of the well. Or that you can take him to where the well is to find the water.

    So anytime we are Proclaiming Good News to Somebody, the Person expects us to lead them to what their Soul is hungry for; and what their Soul is thirsty for.

    It is the Great Augustine – normally calls him Anthony, who said – “God has made us for Himself. Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Him”.

    What did he mean by that? – God has created a hole inside each one that only He can fill. And when we Proclaim the Gospel, we are filling that deep hole in People.

    Some People try to fill it with alcohol; some People try to fill it with sex, some People try to fill it with food and Partying and sometimes even with Profanity some People try to fill it with Education.

    … But that hole is a God-hole; and that God-hole can only be filled by God!

    And when we Proclaim the Good News, we have to know: the Person may be Educated, they may have all the Money in the World; but there is a hole inside them that only Jesus Christ can fill. And if you know Jesus Christ, you have something they don’t have!

    They may have all the riches of this world but that emptiness in them is a God-hole. And only God can fill it.

    And that’s why we have the confidence to share the Gospel with People who are richer than us, more educated than us – People who naturally are better than us..

    But we have something they don’t have: we have the Living Water – They are Thirsty People dying in the wilderness.

    But Thanks be to God for the Saving Power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    So that Person, what must happen to him?

    He must hear the Good News – He hears Good News!

    Everybody wants to hear Good News – Not Bad News, not Condemnation. Good News!

    … But not only must they hear the Good News;

    II. They must BELIEVE the Good News.

    The People will hear it but never believe it. When you believe it you accept it as the Final Truth.

    So you cannot believe (for example) that Jesus Christ is the Saviour and still believe that there are other Ways to God.

    If you believe Jesus is the Saviour and you still believe there are other Ways to God; then you haven’t believed.

    You have an “Intellectual Appreciation” of Jesus Christ.

    But with the heart you have not believed because once you believe it settles all questions.

    Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no Man comes to the Father, except by Him. He is the “Only Way” to the Father.

    … That’s what believing it.

    Somebody says: “I like Religion! – Me too I Pray small, small. I do this a little, that a little. I know there are many Ways to go to God.”

    No, that’s not true! – That’s human understanding.

    … There is only one Way to God and He is JESUS CHRIST.

    For the Person to believe, they have to come to that “Firm Assurance” that Jesus Christ is the “Only Saviour”.

    That is when you say – “He has believed.”

    And if you are in this Church or you are reading this Message now on the Label of DMC and you are having double Opinion; you haven’t believed yet. You are a nice Church Member but you are not yet in Christ. Alright!

    … So, he Believes the Good News! And then what does he do next?

    III. He CALLS ON THE LORD.

    That is he Prays to God and say: God, I Thank You that Jesus Christ has died for me. And now I receive Him into my heart.

    And the Bible says “Whoever CALLS on the Name of the Lord shall be saved”.

    Now when the Bible says in Romans 10:13 that: “Whoever Calls on the Name of the Lord” – It is not Somebody who says JESUS! Theb he is saved. No!

    You have to read that in context – The context says that the Person must hear the Gospel Preached.

    If you read Romans 10:9, it says: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

    You don’t just become saved because you said JESUS!

    So when He says: “Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord” – It doesn’t mean just mentioning His Name.

    It means mentioning His Name based on the fact that you have heard the Gospel you Believe the Gospel, you believe He is the Only Way, and you Call on Him as the Only Way to save you – Then you will be saved.

    … And whoever does that will be saved.

    And that’s how we share the Gospel – It’s Simple and Straightforward:

    I. You must experience Salvation.

    II. Then you must tell People about what you have Witnessed.

    III. And you must share what Christ had done for them on the Cross of Calvary.

    … And next week I’m going to talk about Different Ways of Sharing the Gospel.

    Because in the Bible you find People share the Gospel in different ways.

    Because some People are going to say Pastor, I don’t even know Verses, I don’t know Quotations. So what if I go and they ask me Quotations what should I do? – “Once I was blind, now I see!”

    These Questions about – Are Catholics right? What about Angelican? What about Muslins? I don’t know about that!

    What I know: Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world. He saved me and He can save you too.

    I am not Intellectually enough to answer all your Questions. But I have had an encounter with Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. And that is the only thing I can share with you today!

    … Are you hearing me?

    So don’t be intimidated about – Oh what if I go and they floor me with Questions?

    No, you are sharing your Encounter with the Lord Jesus.

    ALTAR CALL

    Now I cannot end this Message without giving Somebody here and all those reading now on the Label of DMC, who has not had an Encounter with Jesus Christ the chance to have an Encounter – To believe in their heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. That Jesus died for them, God raised Him from the dead. And to Call upon the Lord and to be saved.

    So if you are here this Morning or reading now on the Label of DMC you say: Pastor, this is the first time I have heard the Gospel explained this way:

    I don’t really think I have believed. I don’t really think I have come to that Point of knowing Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour; as the Only Saviour of the world.

    And you can be in Church for a long time and not get to that Point.

    Sometimes you hear the Message Preached for a long time, before one day it really settles in your heart and then you make a Decision.

    So with every head now, every eyes closed; I just want to give People who want to make that Decision the Chance to make that Decision.

    So if you are here this Morning or reading now on the Label of DMC and you say:

    Pastor, I want to open my heart to Christ. I believe that Jesus died for me, and I want to call upon Him and I want Him to save me from sin and from the control of Satan, I want to live my Life for Him.

    If you want to be save, you want to be Born Again, you want to become a Child of God, you want to be assured of Heaven:

    With every head now, every eyes closed, I’m just going to ask you to lift up your right hand wherever you are!

    If you have your right hand up, I’m just going to ask you to Stand wherever you are.

    God bless you!

    Now those of you who are Standing, put your hand upon your heart. You say – Pastor why do I have to put my hand upon my heart? It is just that we are going to Pray now and I want you to mean everything from your heart. I want these words to be sincere from your heart.

    Put your hand upon your heart and the whole Church is going to Pray with you this Prayer.

    Say with me Heavenly Father; I come to you today just as I am. I am a sinner. I cannot save myself.

    I ask You Father, save me, deliver me from sin, from the Power of Satan. I believe today that Jesus is the Son of God. He is the Only Saviour, He is the Only Way.

    And today I confess Him as my Lord. I declare with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord.

    Come Lord Jesus, come and live inside of me. Make me a Child of God, wash away my sins. Deliver me from the Power of Darkness into the Kingdom of God.

    I Thank You for accepting me.

    In Jesus’ Mighty Name – AMEN.

    OPENING PRAYER

    Father Almighty we Specially want to Worship You today. We want to Thank You that it is now one Year since we started this Series and You have been with us all along.

    Thank You for Revelational Knowledge; Thank You for showing us Hidden Secrets even in the Life of Elijah; Thank You that week after week, You have been taking us higher and higher. We Worship You, Father accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

    Today in a Very Special Way Lord, reveal Yourself to us – Let us know You more, let us Love You more, and let us be more and more like You.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    We are continuing with our Study on Going Higher – Part 52.

    With this Week Lecrure, it will make it exactly one Year since we started our Study of this Series called “GOING HIGHER”.

    And if you have been “Going Higher” in a Class for a Whole Year, then that should give you a hint that you are about to get to some “Very Deep Waters”.

    We are taking our Bible Text from: 1 Kings 19: 9-14:

    1. He went into a cave (That is Elijah) there and spent the night. All of a sudden the Lord spoke to him, “Why are you here, Elijah?”
    2. He answered, “I have been absolutely loyal to the Lord, the Sovereign God, even though the Israelites have abandoned the Agreement they made with you, torn down your altars, and killed your Prophets with the sword. I alone am left and now they want to take my life.”
    3. The Lord said, “Go out and Stand on the Mountain before the Lord. Look, the Lord is ready to pass by.” A very Powerful Wind went before the Lord, digging into the Mountain and causing landslides, but the Lord was not in the Wind. After the Windstorm there was an Earthquake, but the Lord was not in the Earthquake.
    4. After the Earthquake, there was a Fire, but the Lord was not in the Fire. After the Fire, there was a Soft Whisper.
    5. When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his robe and went out and stood at the entrance to the cave. All of a sudden a voice asked him, “Why are you here, Elijah?”
    6. He answered, “I have been absolutely loyal to the Lord, the Sovereign God, even though the Israelites have abandoned the Agreement they made with you, torn down your altars, and killed your Prophets with the sword. I alone am left and now they want to take my life.”

    There are quite a lot of things to learn from this Passage – And I Prayed that the Almighty God will anoint your ears and grant you the heart of Understanding – Amen.

    If you noticed in this Passage, first of all it says that the Word came to Elijah and it then says again that a Voice came unto him.

    … There was a Word and then there waa the “Still Small Voice”.

    In John 10:27, Jesus Christ said: My Sheep hear my Voice.

    But in John 13: 21-30 – When at the Last Supper, Jesus Christ said that Someone is going to betray Him and the Disciples were asking: Is it I? Is it I? And Jesus Christ wasn’t telling and Peter beckoned to John the Beloveth and say: Ask Him, He will tell you.

    Jesus Christ told John – But if you read that Story, only John heard what Jeaus Christ told him; that it is the fellow I’m going to give something to his mouth just now,

    After He did that one, He gave that sup to Judas Iscariot and the Bible said that the Lord then told Judas Iscariot – Whatever you want to do, do it very quickly.

    And the Bible said that everybody didn’t know what God was saying or asking him to go and do because they didn’t hear what the Lord said to John the Beloveth.

    In one of our Holy Ghost Services, God said something to us – He said that all my Sheep hears my Voice but very few hears my Whisper.

    I Pray that because you have been with us on this Journey thus far – Learning to go higher day-by-day in the Lord; I Pray that you will be one of those who will begin to hear His Whispers (Amen).

    What is crucial for us to discuss really today is that the Lord asked Elijah the same question twice – In Verse 9, He said: What doeth here through the Word and in Verse 13: He said: What doeth here through the Voice (Amen).

    I know very well that God is not a Talkative – If He should be asking the same question twice, then there should be a meaning here.

    You see, when a Teacher ask a Question, it is not because the Teacher does not know the answer – Afterall:

    I. It is the Lord who sent an Angel to go and feed Elijah and tell him to eat twice because the Journey is far.

    II. It was God who said: Go to Horeb and you are going to have an Appointment there.

    So, if you sent me to Horeb and you are now asking me what am I doing here?

    As everybody knows – When a Teacher asks a Question, it is not that he doesn’t know but:

    I. He wants to hear what the Student has to say.

    II. He wants to know how much you have learnt.

    III. He wants to know whether you are ready for Promotion or not.

    Usually, when God asks a Question, it is a Test, it is an Examination.

    In John 6: 5-7; the Bible said that when Jesus Christ saw the crowd, He turned to one of the Disciples (DMC NOTES: Jesus Christ turned to Philip) and said: Where are we going to find food now to feed these People? But the Bible added it there that He said this to Test him for He Himself knows what He was going to do.

    … The Teacher knows the answer and it is just a Test for the Student!

    And you know what? – John 3: 1-2 tells us clearly that Jesus Christ was a Teacher.

    When Nicodemus came to Jesus Christ by Night, he said that we know that You are a Teacher sent from God.

    It will amaze you to know that throughout the Ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, they never really call Him an Evangelist or Preacher or Pastor or Apostle; they kept on calling Him Teacher!

    As a matter of fact, in John 20: 14-16, while others has been calling him “Rabbi”; Someone who was very close to Him didn’t call Him Rabbi, he called Him “Rabboni” – Meaning Teacher of teachers; the One who teaches “Rabbi”.

    Everywhere Jesus Christ went, He went there teaching – Including by the Seaside.

    In Mark 2:13; they didn’t say that He went to the Seaside to hold a Crusade; He went there to teach,

    When God asks a Question, it is not because He does not know the Answer.

    For Example in Genesis 3: 1-11; you know the Story – The Fruit that He said that they (Adam and Eve) shouldn’t eat, they have already eaten it and several things followed.

    And yet when He came there, He said: Adam, where art thou?

    Adam and Eve were hiding behind a tree and He (God) came from Heaven into the Garden. He was the One who Planted the Garden, He saw where they were hiding and yet He was asking the question – Where are you?

    And when Adam said that we heard Your Voice, we were afraid because we were naked; He said: Ha, who told you that you are naked? As if He doesn’t know!

    He went ahead and said: Have you eaten the Fruit I asked you not to eat? – Didn’t He know?

    In Genesis 4: 3-10; I mean you know the Story of Cain and Abel.

    He asked the Question: Cain, where is Abel? – Didn’t He know?

    And when Cain said: I don’t know! He said: But his blood is crying to me.

    … I already saw what you did, I know where you have buried him, I know that you have shed his blood!

    Which brings me to a very serious Point – How much does God knows, Particularly about you?

    Acts 15:18 says: That known unto God are all His works from the Foundation of the Earth.

    How much does He know? – Everything that is going to happen before the Foundation of the world, He knows.

    Isaiah 40:28 says: There is No Searching of His Understanding.

    … He knows so much that you can’t even begin to imagine.

    Daniel 2: 20-22 says:

    1. Saying, “Let the Name of God be Praised forever and ever, for Wisdom and Power belong to Him.
    2. He Changes Times and Seasons, deposing some Kings and establishing Others. He gives Wisdom to the Wise; he imparts Knowledge to those with Understanding;
    3. He reveals Deep and Hidden Things. He knows what is in the Darkness, and Light resides with Him.
    4. God gives Knowledge to those who has None.

    So, if you say that you are a Professor; every Knowledge that you have gotten, He gave them to you.

    1. He reveals Deep and Secret Things.

    So, you are doing Research, what you are searching for, He already knows it and He is the One who can reveal it to you.

    1. He knows what is in the Dark.

    Everything in Darkness, He knows it.

    Years ago, when the Scientist said that they have discovered a Camera that can see in the dark, I smiled.

    Take a Good look at the eyes of the Cat, it can see in the dark. Look at the eyes of the Lion, it can see in the dark. What you are just discovering, had been there all along.

    1. Revelations 1:8 says that He knows the Past, He knows the Present and He knows the Future.

    Why? – He is the Alpha, He is the Omega; He is the One who is, He is the One who was, He is the One who is to come.

    Where you are coming from, He knows it, where you are going, He knows it.

    1. Psalms 139: 1-6, David said: When I am sitting down, You know it, when I am Standing Up, You know it.

    That is why for Example in Psalms 1: 1-3; when He was talking about a Man who will be blessed, He talked about your walking, your Standing, your sitting because He is monitoring every bits of it.

    1. He even knows your thoughts.

    David said so – What I am thinking about, You know it.

    In Marks 2: 1-12; It says four (4) boys brought to Him (Jesus Christ) a Man who was Paralysed from neck downwards through the roof and then He saw their Faith and said: Okay son, thy sin be forgiven thee. And the People were thinking in their heart: Who is this Man Blaspheming and claiming that He has Power to forgive sins.

    They didn’t say it out but He heard – Which is why you should watch what you are thinking. Watch your thoughts because He knows it all.

    1. He knows everything you say including your jokes.

    Matthew 12:36 – He says that every idle words that a Man shall speak; he will give an Account on the Day of Judgement.

    If I were you, I will be careful with what I say because everything you are saying is being recorded.

    1. Before you are born, He knew you.

    Jeremiah 1: 4-5, He said that before I formed thee, I knew thee.

    1. Where you are suppose to End, He knows it.

    Jeremiah 29:11, He said that I know the thoughts that I think towards you; thoughts of Good, not of Evil; so that you have an Expected End.

    … There is an End that I have Planned for you. And some People called it Destiny!

    1. He knows what you have done.

    I’m sure that you don’t like that – Those things you are trying to hide from Him, He is aware of them.

    Acts 5: 1-11 – When husband and wife sold a Piece of Property and decided to keep Part of the Money aside and then brought the remainder to the Apostles. And the Apostle said: Sir, is it all the Money?

    Peter wasn’t quarrelling that they brought less than all; he was worried that they lied because he said later on: Before you sold the Land, it waa yours, Nobody compelled you. Why have you come to lie to the Holy Spirit?

    … What you have done, He knows!

    1. What you are doing, He knows.

    2 Kings 5: 20-27 – When Gehazi decided to run after Naaman to collect some Money.

    Elisha didn’t leave the house but he saw everything that was going on.

    When he asked Gehazi – Where have you been? He (Gehazi) said I was no where. He said that my eyes was following you. I saw the General (Naaman) turning in his Chariots to come and meet you.

    I saw everything and I saw what you are even thinking on your way back – That I’m going to use Part of this Money to buy Vineyard, to buy Oliveyard.

    He said: Is this the time?

    … He knows what you are doing!

    1. He knows what you are going to do tomorrow – Those things that you have not even done yet.

    Consider Genesis 22: 1-14 – The Bible says that God gave Abraham a Test.

    He said to him – That your son Isaac; the one that you love; go and offer him to me as a Sacrifice on the Mountain.

    God knew that Abraham will obey,

    You say: How do you know?

    When Abraham got to the Mountain and tied the son and was about to kill him; God says: Don’t do it. Turn back and see.

    And he turned and the Bible says that there was a ram on the Mountain.

    What is the ram doing on the Mountain? There were no other Sheep there, no Shepherd there. Who put the ram there?

    That ram was there, Strategically waiting because God knew that Abraham was going to obey Him.

    … He knows what you will do!

    Which explains Romans 9: 10-14 – The Bible says that before Esau and Jacob were born, God had already said: I love Jacob, I hate Esau.

    And People says: How can that be fair? They were not yet born, they have not done Good or Evil, but God knew in Advance.

    He knew what will happen in Genesis 25: 29-34 – He knew that there is Somebody coming into the world that is going to love his stomach more than his birthright.

    No use going to hide from Him because in Psalms 139: 7-12; David said: Where can I hide from You? If I go to the Mountaintop, You are there; If I go to the bottom of the Ocean, You are there; if I say Darkness should cover me, Darkness is Light unto thee.

    .., This has been there since the days the Bible were written.

    So, you have discovered a Lens that can see in the dark – Darkness has never been Darkness to God!

    You can run from Him, but you can’t hide from Him!

    You don’t believed me, ask Jonah – God sent Jonah on an errand, Jonah said that I’m not going in that direction. You can read it in Jonah 1: 1-end.

    God asked him to go to the East, he said that I will go to the West.

    God says: Fine, I know that is where you are going; I will Prepare a fish, big enough to swallow you, waiting for you.

    … He knows everything – You can’t run from Him.

    In Conclusion: I have Good News for you – Because He knows everything, you can say that in that case, my Future is already fixed. It doesn’t matter what I do, I’m going to end up in whatever way He wants me to do.

    No, No, No; Daniel 20: 20-21 says something Good – It says that He Changes Times. He can rearrange your Future.

    Oh, don’t forget that He is Supreme, He is the Almighty, He does as He Pleases – He can rearrange your Future and you can still End very well.

    As a matter of fact, the fact that you are alive today listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC; means that there is Hope for you to End well.

    Consider Luke 23: 39-43 – There was this thief on the Cross, already on the way to Hell (Hell was already waiting for him). But he turned to the Lord Jesus Christ while the other thief was wailing at him.

    He said: I know that I deserved to die, I deserved to go to Hell, I have done Evil; Please remember me in Your Kingdom.

    Jesus Christ said: Fine! I snatched you out of the mouth of Hell.

    ALTAR CALL

    Listen to me Brothers and Sisters, you can cry to God today and He can rearrange your Future.

    And you who has not yet given your Life to Him; because you are alive, and it is not by Accident that you are hearing this Sermon or reading it now on the Label of DMC – You can cry to Him and say: Lord, have Mercy on me, save my Soul, I will do Your Will. Don’t let me go to Hell.

    And He will answer you – He has enough Power to do so!

    So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ now or wherever you are now or reading this now on the Label of DMC; if you will bow your head and cry to Him, and say: My Future is in Your Hands I Know. I want my Future to be okay. Save my Soul and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

    … He will do so!

    Bow your Head and I will Pray with you right now – If you will call on Him for Salvation, He will answer you!

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

    And so my Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name.

    I want to Thank You for Your Words and I want to Thank You for all those who are saying: Lord take over my Life from now on and control everything. Forgive my sins, Father Please answer them, let Your Blood wash away their sins, give them a Brand New Beginning Lord and let their Future be alright.

    Please Lord, all Your Children who are also crying to You Lord, saying: Hey Lord, P,ease take over, I rearrange my Future so that I can End well. Please, answer us all.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

    Now, all of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ today; I rejoice with you. I Promise you by the Grace of God that I will be Praying for you.

    So, I will ask that you contact me as soon as Possible so that I can begin to Pray for you.

    And then, look for the nearest The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to you; and ask the Pastor there what to do next and they will tell you.

    God Bless You in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!
