OPENING PRAYER

Ancient of Days, Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending.

We Your Children are saying Good Morning to You today – Thank You for Your Mercy that has been renewed for us again today.

Thank You because of Your Mercy, we are not Consumed – Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

This Morning, I Present to You Your Ministers – In Your Own Miraculous Ways:

Every Problems in their Individual lives, Solve this Morning.

Whatever is hindering the Flow of the Anointing in their lives; my Father and my God remove this Morning.

Let it be well with all Your Children, draw them Closer to Yourself.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: Good Morning, God will bless you today.

I want to Thank the Almighty God for those of you who are here or reading now on the Label of DMC – The One who brought you here/reading will bless you (Amen).

And I ask God for Mercy for those of you who could not make it for whatever reason(s).

I Pray that God will be Merciful unto them – Amen!

This Morning, we want to talk briefly from Amos 3:3.

Amos 3:3 – Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Because our Theme for this Convention (RCCG “The Americas” Continental Convention 2023) as we all know by now is “EMMANUEL” – Meaning: “God With Us”.

Now, here comes a “Big Question”: “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

The Word of God made it clear that: “Two are better than one” – No doubt about that.(DMC NOTES: Ecclesiastes 4:9).

As a matter of fact – God Himself said: “It is not Good that Man should be alone” (DMC NOTES: Genesis 2:18).

So, that made it clear that it is a very “Dangerous Thing” to be a Loner!

And the Word of God gave reasons why it is dangerous to be alone: – It says that the reason why two is better than one is that: (DMC NOTES: Ecclesiastes 4:10)

If one falls, the other will lift him up.

It then went on to say: Woe is to the Man who is alone when he falls because there will be Nobody to lift him up.

No matter how Anointed you are; no matter how Powerful you are; you need a Partner!

The Problem with many of the Churches all over the world is that there are several “Lone Rangers”.

We believed that we can do it all alone – And it is a very “Dangerous Thing” to be done.

1. As Powerful as Moses was; in the Book of Exodus 17: 8-13.

When the children of Israel came face to face with the Army of the Amalekites and Moses was on the Hill – His hands lifted up to God was controlling the direction of the battle. But it got to a Stage where he was tired.

Fortunately for him (Moses), he knew that two are better than one – He took Aaron and Hur with him and they were there to lift up his hands till the battle was won.

2. In 1 Kings 18: 41-45:

Elijah as Anointed as he was – I mean he could call down Fire from Heaven anytime he wanted.

When it was time to get to Rain after several years – While he was Praying, he needed his Servant to go and be checking for him if he saw a Cloud.

When you read 1 Kings 19: 1-4 – You would see that the moment Elijah dropped his Servant; his Journey to Total Depression began.

Yes he was running from danger but he got to a Stage he dropped his Servant, and continued the Journey alone. It was not long after that he was asking God to kill him.

If you want to know the importance of two are better than one – You will discovered that after God fed Elijah and he continued the Journey; one of the things that God did when he heard that “Small Still” Voice was that God appointed for him another Servant called Elisha – You can read 1 Kings 19: 1-end.

You can’t do this work alone – Anybody no matter how Anointed he/she may be; needs a Partner!

Now, the beauty of “Emmanuel” – “God With Us” is that we are offered a Partnership with Someone who is Unseen.

The moment you have a Partner that this Mighty God is Promising you in “Emmanuel”; it is not going to be long before People begin to ask you – How are you doing it? Because your Success will soon defy Human Explanations!

1. Read Genesis 26: 1-end – A very beautiful Passage.

There was Famine in the Land – Everybody was groaning under Famine and yet there was this Young Man called Isaac. In the midst of the Famine, he kept on growing until he became “Very Great”.

His situation was so Spectacular that a King came to Him and say: Sir, go away from us.

Why? Because you are Greater than we.

A Man became Greater than a Nation because he has a Partner “Ordinary Eyes” could not see!

The Partner is the God of his father Abraham – He was the One who told him: Hey, Stay in the Land, don’t move as I am here by your side.

2. In Genesis 39: 1-end – You will find a Yoing Man called Joseph. He has an Unseen Partner.

While he was in Portiphar’s house; it wasn’t long before Portiphar discovered: I don’t know how this Young Man is doing it but everything that he touches Prospers. And he made him the Master of his whole Household.

When he was thrown into Prison, it wasn’t long before the Jailer realised – This boy is Peculiar and he handed over the entire Prison to his hand.

And like Somebody said: Prison is not that bad if you are the one in Charge!

Because you are the one who will decide what food to eat and who is to eat it.

Joseph has a Wonderful Time in Prison – Why? Because he has an Unseen Partner!

3. Judges 15: 14-end – When Samson with the Jawbone of an Ass destroyed a thousand Philistines; the Philistines put their heads together and said: This Man is not Ordinary. He has a Partner that we cannot see.

That is why when you get to Judges 16: 4-18; they came to Delilah and said: Find out how he is doing what he is doing.

May I Pray for Somebody this Morning or as you read now on the Label of DMC – That before this time Next Year (2024); your Colleagues will be asking you: How are you doing it? – Amen!

They have asked me that Question again and again and again.

There is a Group of People called “The International Coalition of Apostles” – They are the “Big Guns” all over the world. The biggest in every Nation.

They came to visit us in Nigeria – Many of them came boasting that they had a Church on Twenty Hectares of Land, Fifty Hectares of Land et cetera et cetera.

They came to the Camp (DMC NOTES: Redemption City of God); I didn’t tell them the Hectares of Land there, I just asked my Driver to drive them around.

They came back with One Single Question: How do you do it?

In Ministry, if you are to Succeed to the extent that People will ask you – How do you do it? Then you must have a Link with Emmanuel!

… That is very, very important!

That is Probably the Major reason why you are here this Morning – To have an “Unchangeable Link” with Emmanuel!

My Prayer is that He will make it Possible for you – Amen!

In John 3: 1-2; Nicodemus came to the Lord Jesus Christ and said: Tell me your Secret. Nobody can do what you are doing unless God is with him.

Acts 10:38 tells us: How God Anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power; who went about doing Good and Healing all that are Oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.

In Daniel 3: 1-end – This is a Story you know very well.

How do you go into the Fiery Furnace and come out alive? – The answer of course is: Emmanuel!

Because before they entered into the Fiery Furnace; the 4th Man was already waiting.

You need to take the “Issue of Emmanuel” very serious because if you Prosper the way I believed God is going to make you to Prosper; there will be envy, there will be Jealousy and there might be some Fiery Furnace!

But if you have Emmanuel by your Side, the Blessings of the Lord maketh Rich and added no Sorrow with it.

Now, this brings us to the Question of: Prayer Partners!

It is expedient that you have a Prayer Partner – Two is better than one!

Of course, we will ask the Question later on: Who should be your Prayer Partner?

Because the Prayer Partner that you must have must be Somebody:

I. Who knows you very well.

II. Who is connected to you beyond all doubts.

III. That if you float, you float together; if you sink, you sink together.

That is why I have always recommended – Though I don’t do so anymore; that the “Best Prayer Partner” that a Pastor could have is his wife!

You say: Why don’t you do so anymore?

Because I have discovered that unfortunately not every Marriage is like my own!

I have discovered that the Greatest Enemy of a Man could be his wife and the Greatest Enemy of a wife could be his husband!

But I’m Praying for you this Morning – If your home is not in the way it should be; may the One who is the Original Initiator of Marriage step into the situation – Amen!

Any Marriage among the Ministers that is in trouble, may God intervene – Amen!

It is dangerous to have the “Wrong Partner” in Prayer!

It is true that the Bible says that if two of you shall agreed as touching anything you asked on Earth; it will be done to you by my Father in Heaven (DMC NOTES: Matthew 18:19).

So, Agreement is a very Power Force when it comes to Prayer!

But what kind of Agreement:

I. Do you agree to do evil?

II. Do you agree to do what is Good?

Ananias and Sapphira are Prayer Partners – Husband and Wife. They agreed to lie to the Holy Spirit and that was why they were buried in the same Grave so that they can go with the Agreement all the way to Hell (DMC NOTES: Acts 5: 1-10).

But in Daniel Chapter 1, you find: David, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego agreed not to defy themselves with the Portion of the King’s food. And so when the time of Promotion came, they were Promoted together.

So, we have to choose our Prayer Partner very, very carefully!

For Example – The Bible tells us that under no circumstances should you befriend an “Angry Man!

In other words, if you have a Relationship with Somebody who has a “Quick Temper”; break that Relationship this Morning or as you read on the Label of DMC!

The reason why God said don’t do that is because He says you will soon learnt his ways and you get ensnared for your Soul.

… Oh, my friend is a very Good Man but occasionally he is “Quick Tempered” – And you call him your friend?

In any case, there is a Proverb that says: Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are!

… Be careful who is your Partner!

And then, even when you think that your Partner will be a “Very Good Peerson” – He is a True Child of God; Jeremiah 17:5 still warns us that you must not trust a Man.

It says: Cursed is the Man who trusts in Man; Cursed is the one who made Flesh his Support.

Why? Let me put it like this: Even Aaron can Backside!

Aaron was there lifting up the hand of Moses one moment (DMC NOTES: Exodus 17: 8-13) and in another moment as you will find in Exodus 32: 1-24, you will find another Story about “Big Brother” Aaron.

Moses went to spend some time with God, the People demanded for a god.

And when Aaron was giving an Account of what happened, he said: They said that they wanted a god they can see. I asked them to bring to me their Gold if they have any.

They brought the Gold to me, I threw the Gold into the Fire and Miraculously, out of the Fire, worked out this Idol.

… Bro Aaron! – They demanded for a god? You asked them to bring Gold or you demanded for Gold?

You threw the Gold into the Fire and you fashioned out the Idol.

You may write this down so that you won’t forget it:

Never befriend a Man who is always giving Excuses because the People who give Excuses are those who are Failures!

… Only Failures give Excuses – Take Note of that!

Proverbs 25:19 tells you that if you have Confidence in an “Unfaithful Man”; when they spring their Surprises, you will suffer like a Man who has a broken tooth or who has a Disjointed leg.

… Be careful who will be your Partner!

That brings us back to Emmanuel:

The Only Partner that you can trust one hundred Percent (100%) is the Lord Himself!

I. He will go through the Fire with you as the 4th Man.

II. He will go through the River with you.

III. He will go through the Fllood with you.

… He will be there for you Day and Night!

But then, that brings us to the Question – Can two walk together except they agree?

Okay, you want Emmanuel as your Partner, the Question is: Does Emmanuel wants you as His Own Partner?

Because if you are going to walk together with Emmanuel; you will have to understand that the two of you will have to agree on several things – I will just mention a few of them:

1. That God is Love – 1 John 4:8.

What kind of Love?

John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son.

… That is the kind of Love that we are talking about.

And then His Son (That is Jesus Christ) said – My Father and I are one.

The Partner of the Father said in John 15:13 – Greater Love than this has no Man, that a Man lay down his Life for his friend.

And the Bible made it Clear – You want to be a friend of Emmanuel? 1 Peter 2:21 tells us that you have to follow His Footsteps – Including how He loved, how He suffered etc.

1 John 3:16 says that He laid down His Life for us, expecting us to be willing to lay down our lives for the Brethren.

And if we are going to be Honest; how many People even in your Congregation do you Love?

But He (Emmanuel) expects you to Love your Neighbour like you loved yourself.

I. You can’t have that kind of Love and be surrounded by Sinners and do Nothing about them!

II. You can’t have that kind of Love and have been Born Again all this while and up till this moment there are Members of your family that are not yet saved.

III. You can’t have that kind of Love and feel Comfortable when you know that a Colleague is going to Hell and you do Nothing about it.

In John 14: 21-23; Jesus Christ stated the Condition for “Emmanuel Partnership” – He said that you will love me, you will obey my Commandments. If you will love me; my Father will love you and then both of us will come and dwell with you.

2. In John 14:6; Jesus Christ said that: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life – Take Note of “The Truth”.

He is not just Somebody who tells the Truth but He is the One who is “The Truth” Himself – One hundred Percent (100%) Truth.

In Numbers 23:19; the Bible made it abundantly clear that: God is not a Man that He should lie.

It is a very terrible Testimony about us – You cannot be a friend of Emmanuel if you are not committed to telling the Truth, the whole Truth, Nothing but the Truth at all times – Take Note of that!

It doesn’t matter what anybody may Preach to you – That once you are Born Again you can live whatever way you like and you will make it to Heaven.

My Bible tells me in Revelation 22:15 – “That Without are Liars”.

We are living in a world now when you can’t even trust what a Man of God says – You can’t be sure that they are speaking the Truth!

I have been Challenged before when I said something – Somebody said that I approved something and I was telling those querying me that I didn’t approve it.

Oh, Pastor So and So said that you approved.

The next thing the fellow said is that unfortunately Pastor So and So who said that you approved it is Dead and so we can’t even know.

I said that are you calling me a Liar?

I will rather die than lie – Because Without are Liars!

But nowadays, Pastors lied for fun – And two can’t work together except they agreed!

You can’t walk together with Emmanuel – “The Truth” and tell a lie no matter how little you considered the lie.

This issue of lying is so important that I will remind you of an incident that happened years ago because I am Praying that after this Convention (RCCG “The Americas” Continental Convention 2023); whatever little little things – That you call them little; that might be in your Life, that will not allow Emmanuel to Partner with you; the Almighty God will get rid of it (Amen).

Years ago, I have just returned from Ilesha (A Town in Osun State Nigeria) to Lagos (State in Nigeria) and I decided that I was going to visit my father-in-the-Lord (DMC NOTES: To visit Pa Josiah Akindayomi).

And on the way, I just remembered: Oh, you don’t visit a Man of God empty handed. So, I saw the People selling oranges by the roadside in Surulere (A Town in Lagos State Nigeria) and I bought some oranges and took them to my father-in-the-Lord.

As soon as I arrived and he saw the oranges, he said that they should peeled some for him and they did.

And as he was sucking the orange, he said: Ha, this orange is very sweet; you bought it on the road?

I understand the Question – “The Road” he was talking about is the road from Ilesha and not Lagos because he was trying to say that we don’t get this kind of sweet oranges in Lagos.

And I said: Yes!

After I said Yes, the Holy Spirit said that you lied – Restitute!

I said: Lord, does it matter whether I bought it from the road from Ilesha or I bought it by the roadside of Surulere – Road is Road.

The Holy Spirit said that you lied – Tell him the Truth. And the Holy Spirit won’t let me rest.

I Pray that, that kind of Holy Spirit won’t let you rest when you lied – Amen!

The Holy Spirit that won’t let you rest when you are doing something wrong; may the Almighty God introduce Him to you today – Amen!

Finally, I had to say: Papa, and he said, yes my son. You asked whether I bought these oranges by the roadside and he said yes.

I said actually, I bought it by the roadside in Surulere!

Papa smiled and said: Hmm, Holy Spirit!

… He knew who was not letting me rest.

May the Almighty God bring you to that Level because two can’t walk together except they agreed.

3. And you can’t be His Partner if you are an Hypocrite.

Job 13:16 says that the Hypocrite won’t even come before Him – They won’t be allowed in His Presence.

What is Hypocrisy?

Let me put it this way – As far as God is concerned: Black is Black; White is White. There is Nothing called Grey!

The answer is either Yes or No!

Hypocrisy is when you Pretend that this is all, when as a matter of fact you are keeping a little bit behind!

That is what led to the Death of Ananias and Sapphira – Is this all that you sold the Land?

Oh yes, that’s why they died!

4. You want to be a Partner with Emmanuel, there is something else you need to Pay attention to – And that is: He is Rich in Mercy!

Ephesians 2: 1-10 and let us Pay Particular attention to Verse 4 – God is Rich in Mercy.

And then in Romans 9: 15-16; the Bible says that He has decided in His Sovereignty – I will have Mercy on whom I will have Mercy and Compassion on whom I will have Compassion. So, it is not of him thar willeth or of him that runneth but God that showeth Mercy.

But He gave a loophole for us in Matthew 5:7 – He said that Blessed are the Merciful for they shall obtain Mercy.

My Problem with many of us Men of God or Women of God is that we are not Rich in Mercy and we need to be for us to obtain Mercy!

Emmanuel can only work with those who knows the meaning of Mercy!

I have discovered that if God will decides to show Mercy; a Man will not get the Punishment that he deserves!

There was a Prayer Meeting that I called back home in Nigeria towards the end of Last Year (2022) when I saw what was coming – When I saw that my Nation was heading towards another Civil War and I knew that we deserved it.

I called a Meeting – A Solemn Assembly of Prayer Warriors among our Pastors and we cried out to God to be Merciful.

Thank God there is still Peace in Nigeria and we are not out of “The Woods” yet; but I’m believing God that our “Cry of Mercy” will not allow what the devil Planned to happen – Amen.

I’m calling on God for Mercy for the Church in America!

But for you to obtain Mercy, then you must learn to be Merciful!

There is a Passage in the Bible – Proverbs 11:17. The first time I read that Passage, I couldn’t believed it.

It says that the Merciful doeth Good to his own Soul, but he that is Cruel troubleth his own Flesh.

I thought that it should be the other way round – The Merciful Man doeth Good to his own Flesh and he that is Cruel troubles others.

The Bible says that if you are Merciful, you do Good to your own Soul; if you are Cruel, you are the one who will Pay for it.

Now, I’m about to Close – And you say: What is the Conclusion of the matter?

The Conclusion of the matter is that you cannot have Emmanuel as your Partner if you are not one hundred Percent (100%) committed to Evangelism!

Why?

1. He came to “SAVE” and that is the Primary Purpose.
2. And He saved us out of Mercy – By Grace you are saved!
3. And He expects you to have Compassion on those who are not yet saved.

When you read John 15:16 – Jesus Christ said that you have not Chosen Him but He has Chosen you and Ordained you, that you should go and bring forth Fruits and that your Fruits should remain (abide); that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my Name, He may give it to you.

It a little more deeper than you think:

I. Be Committed to Soul Winning and all your Prayers will be answered!

II. Be Committed to Soul Winning and things that you did not even asked for will be given unto you.

I will tell you two (2) Quick Stories:

1. Everywhere in the world knows that anybody don’t get a PhD without an Oral Examination – You call it the “Last Aspect” of the Program.

But I got my own PhD without an Oral Examination – How come?

I was busy in Ilesha holding a Crusade and my Professor (DMC NOTES: Late Professor Chike Obi) took my Thesis to the External Examiner.

I don’t know how they do it here in America, but no matter how Good the University is; when you have a PhD Student, you take his Thesis to an External Examiner – Somebody else who is the Specialist in that field and who has a Relationship with the University. He must go through and then Certified it Acceptable and then come and introduce the boy.

That is how they do it in the British System as I don’t know of the American System.

DMC NOTES: The Thesis is one of the most important concepts in College Expository Writing. A Thesis sentence focuses your ideas for the Paper; it’s your argument or insight or viewpoint crystallized into a Single sentence that gives the Reader your main idea.

My Professor and Head of Department (HOD) took my Thesis to the External Examiner – Normally, he should take it and said I will get back to you because he is a busy Man being a Specialist. And he could get back to you in six (6) Months or one (1) year as he will take his time.

This time, my Professor told the External Examiner that I’m not going back until you have read this Thesis.

… I was busy Preaching and God was handling my own case.

The External Examiner said: Okay, if that is the case. He read it in three (3) days and at the end of the three (3) days, he said that it is a Good Work.

My Professor then said: When are you coming for the Orals so that we can arrange for your Ticket et cetera et cetera.

He said: Go and give this boy his PhD – Ha, what about the Orals? He said that there is no Oral.

My Professor said: No, No No; it’s not done. The External Examiner looked at him and said: Who is the Expert in this field?

My Professor had to say that we all know throughout the Country that you are Number One. And the External Examiner said that I have no Question.

My Professor said: No; come sit down and ask this boy – What is your name? Are you the Writer of this Thesis? Thank You very much and you can go.

The External Examiner said that I’m not coming – Go and give him his PhD.

My Professor returned, told the Vice Chancellor (VC) that this is the Problem I had. The Vice Chancellor (VC) said that: Are we better than the External Examiner? And my Professor said No. Then the Vice Chancellor (VC) said that we will do as he says.

… When you are doing His Own, Emmanuel will be doing your own!

2. This one didn’t happened in our Church but in one of the Churches affiliated with me.

There was this Young Man that was a Soldier.

While he was in the Army I think, he was shot somewhere and so to keep him going; they had to insert some Iron rods into his body and the thing gives him Pains regularly but there is Nothing that he could do.

But he become committed to Evangelism.

One Saturday, he just decided that I am going to Evangelise as I am about dropping.

He went and he came back very tired. Returned home and slept.

When he woke up, that iron inserted into his body was lying by his side – There was no blood split, there was no Sign that there was an Operation to remove the iron was lying by his side.

Now, I know that some of you won’t believed! – When God brought Eve out of Adam, there was no blood split.

And I’m decreeing right now – Every Plants God has not Planted in you shall be Uprooted today – Amen!

I. Emmanuel is willing to work for you.

II. Emmanuel is willing to do much more for you than you can ever ask for.

But are you really ready to Partner with Him? – Two cannot walk together except they agree!

I am going to ask you to Pray – Even if it is for five (5) Minutes, because this is a very serious business.

From today onwards, I want your Life to be easy, I want your Success to be the kind that People will be asking how?

And that can only happen if you are one hundred Percent (100%) connected to Emmanuel – But two cannot walk together except they agree.

So, go to Him and talk to Him – Its between you and Him now!

And say: I want that Partnership that will be between you and I.

I. Even if I’m the only one in that kind of Partnership with You, so let it be.

II. Even if my wife is not in Full Agreement with my Connection with You, let it be.

But I want to be one hundred Percent (100%) Connected to You and by Your Grace, I will be in Total Agreement with You.

Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God and He will grant your Requests in Jesus Mighty Name.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

I want you to Please Stand and join your hands together.

I Promised that I will Pray for you this Morning – Not that I have not been Praying but I want you to hear the Prayer.

I want to ask God for Mercy for you in America because I hope your Leaders will tell you the details why – I leave your Leaders to tell you why!

Because you seriously need Mercy – Because the Truth of the matter is: You need Mercy and that is all I will say.

So, I have cried to God and my wife (DMC NOTES: Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adenike Adeboye) will tell you how many Sleepless Nights that I have spent asking God for Mercy for you.

SPECIAL “PRAYER OF MERCY” FOR THE RCCG CHURCH IN AMERICA AND CLOSING PRAYER

And so my Father and my God; I believed that this is the Day You have made – That this Day, Your Children in America will begin to rejoice again.

I’m Praying that You will restore them to Yourself.

That from today, they will begin to operate in Your Perfect Will.

Please my Father and my God, be Merciful unto them.

They are “Little Children’ – There are things that they might have done that might have grieved You, that some of them might not even be aware of.

All I am asking Lord God Almighty is that: Just be Merciful unto them!

As You have been Merciful unto me in the Past; Please be Merciful unto them.

Emmanuel; I know that there is Power Mighty in Your Blood – That Blood that has never lost its Power to Clean, let that Blood wash these Your Children Clean.

Be Merciful unto them Lord – Please take their hands Lord, Unite them once again, bring them into Fellowship with you, Overlook their errors and then begin to carry them.

Every Plants that You have not Planted among these Your Children my Lord and my Saviour:

I. Those who will not surrender to You one hundred Percent (100%).

II. Those who will not yield to You one hundred Percent (100%)

Uproot them Oh Lord.

Revive Your Church – Please Daddy, revive Your Church.

And then from this moment onwards, begin to Prosper them Mightily with Miracles, Signs, Wonders; like the one the world had not known before.

Please Lord, let it begin right now.

Anoint Your Children afresh and let it be well with them.
