    THANKSGIVING AND CELEBRATION OF PASTOR (MRS) FOLU ADENIKE ADEBOYE’S 75TH BIRTHDAY.

    Let us Pray!

    OPENING PRAYER

    Heavenly Father we want to Thank You.

    King of Glory we Adore You, we Bless Your Holy Name.

    We Thank You Oh LORD, even for bringing us together once again in Your Presence, to listen to a few Words from You.

    Father we Pray that in the next few Minutes, You’ll speak to me, You’ll speak to Your People.

    At the end of it all, You’ll take all the Glory, all the Honour, all the Adoration.

    In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Pray – Amen.

    Let’s clap for Jesus.

    Praise the Name of the Lord – Hallelujah.

    I feel unworthy and yet honoured to be called upon to say a few words concerning Mummy today -The Celebration of our own Dear Mother, Grandmother, the Matriarch of RCCG Worldwide, the Mother in Israel.

    And most especially, our General Overseer’s Sweetheart, Girlfriend, Choko Milo, Sweetie Pie, “Honey Socca”, “Cookie Dough” of over Fifty (50) years.

    I said ‘unworthy’ because looking around you’ll see many People who can do justice to this task. But I said ‘honoured’ because what I am doing today is a Privilege.

    And I know that even any one of us given this Privilege would jumped at it.

    So Daddy, Mummy: on behalf of myself and my “Azuka Betito” (Pastor Siju Iluyomade), we say Thank You!

    I just want to share a few Thoughts that I call: “REFLECTIONS.”

    And I have Three (3) Points to urge us, within the time given to me.

    Psalms 90:12 says: So teach us to Number our days, that we may apply our Hearts unto wisdom.

    This is the Oldest Psalms in the Bible. But it’s curious that Moses in that Psalms said, teach us to Number our days, and not “our years”.

    Yet, what most of us Celebrate is our “years”.

    For Example, we are here to celebrate Seventy Five (75) years.

    There seems to be an issue there – Just to Number our days; and yet we celebrate Seventy Five (75) years.

    1. I think God is telling us through that Scriptures, that Life is Brief.

    And we should not unadvisedly and aimlessly rush through Life.

    But we need to settle down and take “Measured Steps” and “Wisen Steps”; think and walk and live Purposefully.

    So today, we are gathered here to give Thanks and Praises to God and to celebrate – Not just Seventy Five (75) years; but Twenty seven thousand, three hundred and Ninety-three (27,393) Days: of God’s Mercies, of His Unmerited Favour, of His Faithfulness, Loving kindness, Protection, Provision and Guidance.

    … And I believe that, that’s the business that we have come to do today!

    Some People might say: Hey, why Days and not years? The answer is not far fetched. God is saying, Number your Days – Celebrate Days:

    • Because He is the Ancient of Days.
    • He daily loads us with Benefits.
    • He gives us our daily Bread.
    • He says, “I will fulfill the Number of your Days”.
    • Even His Mercies are given to us on a daily basis.
    • He is a God that adds to His Church everyday.

    So I think God is telling us that we need to think about this very deeply – If you ask me to count one (1) to seventy five (75); it’s so easy.

    … Even the grandchildren can do that under five (5) Minutes!

    But when you tell me to count twenty seven thousand, three hundred and ninety-three (27,393) Days; that becomes a bigger deal.

    When you are looking at seventy five (75) years in terms of days, then you’ll begin to appreciate the Faithfulness of God, the Mercies of God:

    In watching over you and being your Ebenezer (your Stone of Help) for Twenty seven Thousand, Three hundred and Ninety-three (27,393) Days.

    People of God you know; when you think about Days, a lot can happen in in one Day:

    I. Job lost all his ten (10) children in one Day – Ten (10) funerals; freshly dug sand one Day!

    II. In one Day, he lost all his Wealth, all his Possessions;

    III. In one day he lost all his Honour: his Servants were no longer bowing down to him.

    IV. He lost his Mobility, he lost his Place and Position in Council at the City Gate – All in one (1) day!

    All these happened in sequence – Day after Day.

    And remember that the sun smites by Day, arrow flies by Night, there’s destruction that wastes at Noonday.

    Yet, inspite of all of these, God has kept Mummy for twenty seven thousand, three hundred and ninety-three (27,393) Days!

    Let’s look at another dimension – An old Statistics says:

    • Fifty six Million People die every year;
    • Every Month, 4.6 Million;
    • Every day, one fifty three thousand (153,000).
    • Every hour, six thousand (6,000);
    • Every minute, one hundred and seven (107).
    • Every Seconds, two (2) People die!

    Yet, we are here to Celebrate twenty seven thousand, three hundred and ninety-three (27,393) Days.

    … Let’s look at another dimension;

    Mummy, your Heart beats four thousand eight hundred (4,800) times in one hour.

    If the Heart stops beating for twenty (20) Seconds, one becomes Unconscious and dies.

    Every year, your heart beats forty two thousand (42,000) times.

    Today, twenty seven thousand, three hundred and ninety-three (27,393) Days: your heart has continuously beat for 3.1 Billion times – It did not stop one Second.

    And anybody looking at you: you still look beautiful as before – That’s why your husband calls you Girlfriend. You bring back Sweet Memories, you are still looking Splendid, a Paragon of Beauty and brains; and heightened Spirituality.

    Mummy, we Celebrate you!

    And we need to realised that if God had taken any one of us, He would still be a God of Faithfulness, without Injustice. Good and Perfect are His ways – Unquestionable!

    He is One that looked at Jesus Christ (the Innocent) and said: “You are Innocent, go and die for those who are Sinners” – He is a Sovereign God!

    He says, I would have Mercy on whomsoever I want to have Mercy on; I will have Compassion on whoever I Choose – No one can Question Him!

    Inspite of all the ups and downs of Life, and all the issues of Life, God has kept you by His Mercies for twenty seven thousand, three hundred and ninety-three (27,393) Days.

    And we can still gather like this to Celebrate with family and friends; to give Him Thanks and Praise – I think God is Worthy of all Praises, He is Worthy of all Adoration.

    No wonder the Psalmist says in Psalms 89:1

    SONG:

    I will sing of the Mercies of the LORD
    For ever I will sing,
    of the Mercies of the LORD;
    I will sing of the Mercies of the LORD
    For ever I will sing,
    of the Mercies of the LORD.

    With my mouth will I make Known Thy Faithfulness, Thy Faithfulness;
    With my mouth will I make Known Thy Faithfulness, to all Generations!

    … People of God, that’s why we have gathered here today.

    1. In all circumstances, no matter what happens, be Cheerful and give Thanks.

    The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – In every thing give Thanks: for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

    And He added in Psalms 34:1 – I will bless the LORD at all times: his Praise shall continually be in my mouth.

    … That is why we are gathered here today: to Thank God!

    1. Deep and Sober Reflection.

    You know, when one is Celebrating Birthdays, you are not supposed to just start throwing a Party and making merriment.

    The first thing you need to do (after your Morning Prayers) are Reflections – Looking back!

    The Celebration of a Birthday is supposed to be a Day of Deep and sober Reflection of how far God has brought you.

    You see, it’s only when you reflect and look back; and remember the days of Little Beginnings. And the Past Graces and the Mercies of God, that you can really evaluate; and Thank Him Profusely and Profoundly for what He has taken you through, for where you are today and where He is taking you to.

    Dear Mummy, I said the Title of this short Exaltation is “Reflections” – I Thank God for all the Testimonies and the Tributes that we have heard.

    God is asking you, and all of us here (inclusive all those reading now on the Label of DMC) to look back.

    So Mummy when you look back, what do you see? – I’m sure you see the Mercy and the Faithfulness of God.

    1. Starting from the Salvation of your Soul – No one can come to God unless God draws him or her.

    You must not take it for granted that God saved you and how He connected you with Daddy GO.

    You gave Daddy a Birthday Gift of a Bible and two (2) white handkerchiefs. And that made him make up his Mind, “this is the woman I’m going to spend the rest of my Life with.”

    When you think back at that, you’ll give God Thanks!

    1. I know you’ll remembered how God used your father (Of Blessed Memory) to silent all those who ignorantly due to your Pedigree opposed to your Marriage to our father-in-the-Lord.

    Because of his Humble beginnings – A man who had no car, no house, who walked barefooted for the first eighteen (18) years of his Life.

    The only thing that he (Daddy GO) had then, was that he was an incurable Optimist.

    Obviously, this is not the Picture of “a Knight in Shinning Armour”.

    But looking back today, just see what the Lord has done!

    1. When you look back at your Story, I’m sure you know, and we’ve seen that you have Sacrificed a lot:

    I. There was a time you left your Paid job in Ilorin (Capital City of Kwara State) to follow a Man who said God has Called him – Not only to a City (Lagos) but to a bush. The wilderness that God Promised him, that He was going to build a City for him. And you followed him!

    But today, see what the Lord has done!

    II. I know those days Life was tough Financially. You didn’t earn salary for twelve (12) years after starting Christ the Redeemer Nursery and Primary School. Both of you were Paying Salaries of Pastors and Workers from the little money that remained in your hands.

    But somehow, the Mercy, the Grace and the Faithfulness of God towed you through – That is why we are celebrating today!

    III. You told me just Last Week, that for three (3) years, there was no Electricity on this Campground. You were walking around with lanterns – Navigating your way around this Campground that was filled with Armed Robbers, filled with Serpents and Demons.

    I remembered Daddy GO told us the Story of when he was walking at Night and he saw a tree, there was fire on the tree. But in the morning, the leaves were green.

    So, there were Demons here! Many of us would have ran away but you stood your ground: because of your Love for God, Devotion to the work of God, and the Love for your Sweetheart and your children.

    … That is why today, we are Celebrating!

    IV. When we look back, we see a woman of Great Resilience, who inspite of tough and difficult circumstances and Spiritual Attacks: you stood your ground, Fasted and Prayed with Daddy.

    V. And I remembered a time I came to you sixteen (16) years ago. It was a tough time for us in Ministry, and you shared a Story with me – That you had a Dream, that some evil men attacked you in the Dream. They used a cutlass on you in the Dream (you showed me) and when you woke up, the mark of the cutlass was there!

    I am sure none of our wives would wait in the Campground if that kind of thing happened to them – They would have bolted back to the City.

    … Yet you stood your ground: that is why we are Celebrating today!

    VI. I remembered that the only Weakness that you have (from Daddy’s Testimony) is that: you are a Generous Person beyond Measure.

    Mummy, I’m sure you remembered the day when there was only one (1) tuber of yam for the family, and you gave it away – One tuber! And Daddy GO said: What the Bible says is that, “if you have two (2) coats, give one away”.

    Your answer to him was that, “my Darling, you and I we know how to Fast; but this one doesn’t know how to Fast!”

    Mummy, because God is on your side, before the end of that day, somebody brought six (6) tubers of yam for you – – Hallelujah!

    People or God let’s clap for Jesus! God has been Faithful.

    1. When we look back we see a woman with the heart of Gold, whose Life is Profitable to God – An Impeccable Role Model, Ardent Missionary with Kingdom and Heavenly Perspective and Focus.

    I. We have heard of Christ the Redeemer Schools Ministry; which today has over two hundred and sixty (260) Schools to its name.

    II. We have heard of the Habitation of Hope – A Home you built for Street Boys and Orphans.

    III. We have heard of the Holistic Ministry – Which is a Home you built for women coming out of Prostitution.

    IV. CADA (Christ Against Drug Abuse) – You facilitated building of Hostels and Sponsored Vocational Skills all over the Place.

    V. How about African Mission? – Currently African Mission has eleven (11) Chapters spread across Europe, Canada, USA and Nigeria.

    And the Mandate is Premedicated on one of the most compelling Scriptures that we all have. Which is Matthew 25 – Which talks about taking care of the Poor, the Hungry, the Thirsty, the Naked, the Homeless, the Sick.

    And in the Open Heavens of today (13th July, 2023) – Daddy GO referred to that Scripture in one of the Conditions of making Heaven.

    You connected to that, and all throughout your work we can see the Fulfilment of Matthew 25, even in your Life.

    VI. Today, to the Glory of God, the Christian Social Responsibility (CRS) Arm of the Mission (RCCG) following your footsteps, has within the last four (4) years been able to Complete in Nigeria alone, 1.5 Million Projects. And we have spent Fifty (50) Billion Naira.

    … Just because you went ahead and set the Foundation.

    1. As I run to a Close, I need to say that, looking back we see a woman who is the Power-Behind-Her-Home and so loved by her husband.

    Daddy GO says, you can slap me, you can lie against me, you can critize me, it doesn’t bother me! But if you touch my wife, you will see the other side of me!

    Let’s clap for Jesus!

    1. When we look back, we see the Mercy, Protection, Provision of God, through the ages:

    How God chose you and your husband (Daddy GO) as Living Legends to grow a Church from thirty nine (39) Parishes in 1981, to a “Proper Phenomenon”, that has in Nigeria alone, fifty six thousand (56,000) Parishes; not to talk of the whole world.

    Today, we can boast of RCCG in one hundred and Ninety-eight (198) Nations of the world.

    And Jesus says, the Church would endure till He comes.

    Looking back, we need to remember, that it’s not only human beings that look back. Even animals look back.

    If you’ve been to a Bull Fight; when a bull wants to fight and the Matador (dressed in red) is taunting the bull.

    The bull doesn’t just charge forward, No! It goes back.

    What is it doing? It’s thinking of the Old Stories it has heard, of how its forefathers dealt with Amarinze the Cat – The Matador of Namunda. He remembered all those Stories, the Testimonies of the things God has done for him.

    And the Matador thinks that this bull has no intention of coming after him.

    In a split Second, the bull would just charge forward. And because it has charged up, it has remembered the Past Victories and Mercies; instantly you will see Matador flying even above!

    That is the same Principle that David employed in 1 Samuel 17:37 – The Bible says, before David begin to fight Goliath he looked back, he remembered God’s Faithfulness, God’s Mercies:

    David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the Lion, and out of the paw of the Bear, He will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

    And I know God never Changes – If God has kept me this far; if God has shown me His Faithfulness; that same God will not abandon me.

    With that same Principles, he was able to face the New Thing that was in front of him.

    Some other People, they look back – What do they see?

    The Rich fool in Luke 12:17-19, what did he see? He say his own achievement – There was his Possession, children, and Exploits. He did not give Glory to God. He did not acknowledge God as His Source.

    He boasted in his Achievements, forgetting that the Bible says in Romans 19:16 – So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth Mercy.

    Not you (Mummy GO) – You look back and you see God as your Source.

    And so as I close, Hebrews 13:8 says, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

    So Mummy, as we reflect on God’s Goodness and Mercy, and Faithfulness in your Life in the Past, it gives us Confidence and implore us that the same God Who has been Faithful to you, will not leave you.

    He will Stand by you and He will see you through, in Jesus’ Mighty Name – Amen.

    The Bible says: Say ye to the Righteous, that it shall be well with him (Isaiah 3:10).

    As you face the Future, my Charge to you Mummy, is found in Ephesians 5:15-16 – The Amplified Version.

    It says:

    See that you walk carefully, living life with honour, purpose and courage, turning from people who tolerate evil, not as the unwise. But as wise, sensible, intelligent, discerning people: making the very most of your time on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity, and using it with wisdom and diligence, because the days are evil.

    PRAYER FOR MUMMY:

    Mummy, our Prayer is that as you are Celebrating today: your Life and that of your husband and all your Plans will continue to be Profitable even unto God;

    And God Who had been your Mainstay would be with you even to the very end, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

    Better days are ahead of you – Amen.

    ALTAR CALL

    Psalms 49:20 says, Man that is in Honour, and Understandeth not, is like the Beasts that Perish.

    … All those dogs that cars kill on the road.

    A man in Honour: you get to a Place, they Stand up for you, they show you to your seat.

    A woman in Honour, they bow down to you; they Celebrate you.

    It says, if you lack Spiritual Understanding: you don’t know why God created you, you don’t know your Purpose.

    The People we are celebrating today,, they have discovered their Purpose through an encounter with Jesus Christ. And today; the rest is History.

    So today,, if you are here, you don’t know why you came to this world, you don’t know your Assignment, you don’t have that Personal Encounter with Jesus Christ.

    Don’t you know that one day you will go back home? And the Bible says you will give an Account of your Stewardship.

    A man in Honour – Who is not Born Again; who has not Surrendered his or her Life to Jesus Christ, the Bible says that you are no better than a dog or a beast.

    So, if you here this afternoon or online or reading now on the Label of DMC; you can’t remember when you Personally took a Decision for Jesus Christ.

    The Bible tells us in Jeremiah that you must know Jesus Christ Personally, Practically and Directly.

    You don’t have a Second Birthday? – Everybody that is here, we have one Birthday that we are Celebrating like today.

    But for you to make Heaven, for you to be Born Again; you must have another Birthday – That one is being Born Again; not of the flesh but of the Spirit.

    So as all eyes are Closed – Maybe you’ve Surrendered your Life before, and your name was still in Heaven. Is it still there?

    Moses said that God can blot out names – If you sinned and you have not confessed, is that name still there?

    Or you’ve never ever had an Encounter that gives you two (2) Birthdays – I want to give you an Opportunity to just Surrender your Life.

    So if you know you fall into any of those two (2) Categories, then put your hand on your Chest and repeat after me and say: Lord Jesus, I come to You right now. I know I am a Sinner, because You said all of us have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

    Please, forgive me of all my sins. I Plead the Blood of Jesus to wash me Clean of all my sins.

    Fill me with the Holy Spirit, give me a New Heart and help me to obey You.

    Please, write my name in the Book of Life and lead me on my way to Righteousness.

    If you said that Prayer, all your sins are forgiven you; God has given you a New Lease of Life this day that we are Celebrating Mummy GO.

    I congratulate you!

    BIBLE TEXT: 2 KINGS 13:14-19

    Let us rise up together as we make our “DECLARATION OF GATHERING” in this “YEAR OF GATHERING”.

    Are you ready? Say with me:

    I Proclaim Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. The Lord is the Shepherd of my Soul, my Shelter by Day, my Light by Night.

    In His Name, we Plough our fields, by His Spirit we gather the Harvest, in His Light we seek and find.

    In this Year of Gathering, the Lord of the Harvest has commanded: Launch Out into the Deep. At His Words, we cast our Nets, we gather in Souls and Substance for God’s Kingdom.

    The Lord is our Reward; in this Season I received God’s Portion set aside for me: Full Measure, Pressed down, Shaking together and running over.

    Nothing is Lost and Nothing is wasted in Jesus Name – Amen!

    Today I will be Teaching on: “BREAKING BARRIERS”.

    2 Kings 13:14-19 (NKJV):

    14 Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die. Then Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over his face, and said, “O my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and their horsemen!”

    15 And Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and some arrows.” So he took himself a bow and some arrows.

    16 Then he said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow.” So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands.

    17 And he said, “Open the east window”; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot”; and he shot. And he said, “The arrow of the Lord’s Deliverance and the arrow of Deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.”

    18 Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped.

    19 And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”

    Elisha, if you remembered was the Person who got the Double Portion of the Anointing on the Life of his Master, Elijah.

    He accompanied Elijah for many years and at the end of the Life of Elijah, Elisha made a Request that God would Bless his Ministry with Double of what Elijah had – And of course, eventually he received it.

    Now the Story we are reading is, this Elisha who received the Double Portion, is at the end of his Life.

    He is at the same Place Elijah was when he (Elisha) received the Double Portion – He is also getting to the end of his Life.

    And at this time, what God has blessed Elisha with (The Double Portion); Nobody has received it from him – Nobody like he had received from Elijah has received from Elisha.

    So, he is about to die without transferring the Anointing that is upon him.

    The Person who was supposed to have received that Double Portion was Elisha’s Servant – His name was Gehazi.

    But Gehazi was a greedy young man, and so he missed the Blessing of God.

    And now a Second opportunity for somebody to catch the Anointing just before Elisha’s transition – And that is King Joash of Israel.

    So King Joash comes to Elisha; and the reason he comes to Elisha is because the Perennial enemies of Israel (the Syrians) have attacked Israel, and Joash who is King is very traumatized – He is in trouble.

    And he comes to Elisha and cries to Elisha. And he says, Oh my father, my father; the Chariots of Israel and their horsemen!”

    And if you are familiar with the Scriptures, you will realised that, that is exactly the same thing that Joash said!

    And so he says to him, “… The Chariots of Israel and their horsemen!”

    What does that Phrase mean?

    It simply means that you are the Defender of Israel – It is through your Ministry that Israel has had Victories.

    In other words, Elisha, you are like the horseman and the Chariots that go to battle – Without you, we cannot go to battle. And if you die now, how are we going to face the Syrians? How am I going to face the Syrians? – Because you are the one who defends the Nation.

    So Elisha says to the King Joash, take some arrows – Two (2) Prophetic Actions that we are going to use in Praying today:

    1. He says to Joash, “Take a bow” – So he takes a bow. And he says, “Pick some arrows” – he picks some arrows. Then he says, “put your hand on the bow.” So he holds the bow – Probably with his right hand (if he is right-handed).

    So he picks the bow and Elisha says to him, “open the Window!

    Now in those days they didn’t have Windows like we have Windows and so on. Windows were normally covered by curtains.

    So he says, “open the windows” – That means, draw the curtains to the right. And then he says, “open it to the East.” So he points the arrow to the East.

    Now why did he say, “Point the arrow to the East?’

    It’s because at the time Elisha is speaking, the Syrian army is in Aphek. And Aphek is on the Eastern side of where they are located. And he is Pointing the arrow to where the Syrian Army is.

    And he (Elisha) said to him (King Joash) “shoot!” So he strikes the arrow, shoots it through the Window, towards the Syrian Army – not to go and hit them.

    But it is a Prophetic act to say that: Something is going to go against the Syrian Army.

    And the moment he shot, Elisha made a Declaration.

    He said, what you just did is the Deliverance of the Lord; and His Deliverance from the Syrians. And then he said something extra. He said, but you must strike the Syrians; strike them until they are destroyed.

    So you shoot one arrow, it means God had given you Victory over the Syrians. But you must strike them until they are destroyed.

    … So the first one, God had given you Victory over the Syrians.

    1. Then he says, okay now, take the arrows. So he picks the rest of the arrows that he has. And he says, “Strike the ground”

    Now the “strike the ground” doesn’t necessarily mean, hit the ground with the arrows – That will not make enough sense.

    It means that, shoot the arrows, but this time shoot it on the ground. So shoot through the Window again but on the ground.

    *That means the first arrow had gone in the air; the second arrow is going to the ground; towards the East, towards the Syrian Army but towards the ground.

    And King Joash shot the arrow three (3) times!

    Now remember, Elisha had said, “for you must strike them until they are destroyed.”

    So he strikes the arrow one, two, three and he stops!

    And Elisha was very upset with him – He said, why did you stop? “You should have struck the arrow at least five (5) or six (6) times; and if you had done that, you would have totally defeated the Syrians”.

    Now what’s the Significance of all of these?

    1. The first arrow was shot in the air, towards the Syrians.

    And that is to denote that in the realm of the Spirit, God had given Victory to Israel – So they have won a Spiritual Battle.

    They shot it into the air – They have a Spiritual Victory.

    But God’s says, that Spiritual Victory is Good, but it’s not Good enough.

    You have to now have the same Victory on Earth – So shut the arrow on the Earth.

    As it is in Heaven (in the realm of the Spirit) so shall it be on Earth (in the Natural world – The Spiritual Victory must be manifested in the Natural world.

    There are Victories God gives us Spiritually; but those Victory must become real – They must become actual, they must become Physical. We must have those things on Earth as they are in Heaven.

    And Joash failed that Test because, although he had a Spiritual Victory, the corresponding Action for the Physical manifestation of that Victory on Earth, he limited the extent.

    He shot it only three (3) times.

    And if you read the Story of Israel, he defeated the Syrians three (3) times and no more! And the Syrians conquered them again after that – Because he limited the Physical reality of the Spiritual Victory God has given to him.

    Interestingly if you read the Bible, right after this Verse, in the next two (2) Verses (2 Kings 13:20-21) is a very interesting Story – That afterwards Elisha died and was buried.

    Later on as they were going to bury someone else, Elisha’s body has now decomposed and was only bones in the Grave; and some thieves were coming against the Burial Party.

    So they took the dead man and dropped him at the tomb of Elisha. And this dead man hit Elisha’s bones and instantly resurrected.

    To say that, although Elisha was able to receive the Double Portion of Elijah’s Anointing; Nobody – not Joash, not Gehazi was able to receive what was in him.

    He took to the Grave what was in him, because Joash did not fully obey the instructions of striking.

    So today, we are going to Pray – And we are going to Pray about Victory in the Spirit, Victory on the Earth; and we are going to strike until we have Full Deliverance and we have Full Victory, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

    It’s going to be Intensive Power Prayer in the next few Minutes.

    You are going to Pray with your Heart, with your Intestines (if you can muster that); you are going to Pray with your Lungs, with your Liver and your Kidneys.

    Every Part of you is going to thrive, because God is about to give you Victory. And you are going to have that Victory not only in the realm of the Spirit, you are going to have it also on Earth.

    Are you ready to Pray this Morning? – Okay!

    Let’s rise up together as we get ready to Pray.

    I am going to give you five (5) Prayer Points – You say “Pastor, why did you choose five (5)?” It’s because Elisha said give (5).

    Isn’t that what he said to King Joash?

    He said he should have shot five (5) or six (6) times. So I am choosing five (5) Prayer Points.

    Now each Prayer Point given, I want you to consider it as an Arrow of Prayer.

    And so each Prayer Point we will declare it seven (7) times – It’s like shooting the Prayer Point seven (7) times.

    You say, Pastor why seven (7)? Because Elisha said six (6). And I am saying, Prophet Elisha thank you for saying six (6). Seven (7) is better than six (6). So we are going one more beyond you.

    PRAYER POINTS:

    1. The Lord is my Strength in time of battle; in His Name; I always have Victory in the Spirit.
    2. In the Name of Jesus I receive the Physical Manifestation of what the Lord has done for me in the Spirit Realm.
    3. In the Name of Jesus, I will Subdue and destroy every attacks of the Enemies against me and what is mine.
    4. By the Help of the Holy Spirit, I will Press on in Faith until the Lord has triumphed Gloriously through me.
    5. In the Name of Jesus; I receive God’s Continuous Victory Trans-Generationally for all of those in my Bloodline.

    CLOSING DECREES:

    We declare that in the realm of the Spirit we have won the Victory.

    Every Spiritual Enemies is vanquished.

    We declare that what we have in the Spirit is manifesting in the flesh.

    The Earth shall respond to our Spiritual Victory.

    We declare that God has not given us Partial Victory; but He has given us Total Victory. The Enemy is vanquished Totally.

    We declare that we are not going by our own Strength; but by the Strength of the Lord – We will triumph Gloriously.

    And we declare that the Blessing of the Lord is not only for us, it’s for our Generations; it’s for our Bloodline.

    Our Bloodline is Blessed!

    OPENING PRAYER

    Our Father in Heaven, the Eternal Rock of Ages, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah – We give You all the Praise, we give You all the Honour, we give You all the Adoration. Father, accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus.

    Father, we want to Thank You Lord for another Disciples’ Convention – We Thank You Lord for choosing us, we Thank You Lord for Anointing us, we give You all the Praise for choosing us to be one of Your End-Time Disciples. Father, accept our Thanks in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

    Father, we want to Thank You for our Parents in the Lord: We Thank You for our father-in-the-Lord – We Thank You Oh Lord for Your Strength, for Your Grace and we Thank You Jehovah Nissi for using him for us at this End-Time. Father, be Exalted in the Name of Jesus.

    We want to Thank You for our mother-in-the-Lord – Thank You Jehovah El-Shaddai for the 75th Birthday Celebrations of our mother. We Thank You Lord for the Preservation of Life, we Thank You Lord for Your Strength in her Life, we give You all the Praise for making her “Mother Indeed” and we give You all the Praise Oh Lord For everything that You have done for our mother. Daddy, accept our Thanks in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

    Father Lord, we lift up our mother unto Your Hands; Father add more years to her years – Years of Good Health, years of Greater Grace and years of Greater Breakthrough.

    Lord Jehovah Nissi, we Pray for our Parents; extend their days in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Give them more years Oh Lord, renew their Strength Oh Lord and we Pray that they shall never weep over us in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

    Father, as we go into Your Words, let the Heavens be Opened.

    I Surrender my Life into Your Hands, use me for Your Glory – Let me be a Blessing to these Your Children and let the Anointing flows in our lives and in our midst today.

    Give us Understanding of the Time in the Mighty Name of Jesus – That everyone listening to my voice this Morning or reading now on the Label of DMC; Lord before the end of this Message, let the Heavens be Opened for Greater Grace and Anointing in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

    I am not taking this opportunity for granted.

    I want to appreciate our dear mother-in-the-Lord who has approved us to be here to Minister to you.

    And I want to Thank God for our dear Executives – The Coordinators of The RCCG School of Disciples (SOD). May the Almighty God bless you all in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!

    This Morning, I’m Trusting God that the few Minutes we have, Somebody here or reading now on the Label of DMC will have a New Story – Amen!

    Understanding Times and Seasons!

    Seasons are Periods during which we Perform Specific Duties Productively!

    Knowing the Seasons of Life will Prepare you for the Future!

    And the Book of Matthew 24: 1-end; Christ Jesus declared what will occur in the End-Times Season:

    I. False Prophets.

    II. False Spiritual Leaders.

    III. Fake Churches.

    IV. Wolves in Sheep Clothings.

    They will increase in this End-Time Season.

    And when we look around us today; we can say that this is already happening around us because today, People justify sins:

    I. Gays and Lesbians are fighting for their Rights.

    II. Fraudulent Activities all over the Place.

    III. Abortion, Immorality and Great Evil are arising in Organisations, in Buinesses and in Institutions.

    No wonder, Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy in the Book of 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 – He wrote and said: Don’t be surprised of what is happening around because at the End-Time; People in our Neighbourhood shall be Selfish, Greedy, Boasters, Proud and all kinds of things in these Last Days.

    Then, what are we supposed to do if we don’t know the Season we are Living?

    This is why we need to Understand the Time and Season – What are we to do?

    With all these things happening around us, we have Examples in the Bible – In the Book of 1 Chronicles 12:32.

    The Bible says that the children of Issachar who has Understanding of the Times; they knew what Israel ought to do and all their Brethrens were at their Command.

    God is Challengimg us now as Disciples of Jesus Christ – We must have the Understanding of the Times and Seasons we are Living.

    The children of Issachar were only two hundred (200) in Number – We are more than two hundred (200) here.

    But the Bible said the fewer of all the Race/Tribe set to make David a King over Israel. Yet they were more Serviceable to him than those of Greater Numbers.

    I was here when Daddy GO was talking to us (SOD Students) on Day 1 of this Convention. And I know that few of us here if we have the Understanding of the Times and Seasons that we are; we are more than able to take over.

    Like the children of Issachar, they distinguished themselves from others in various aspects!

    And that is what the Lord is talking to us this Morning if we have the Understanding of the Times and Seasons – We must be Serviceable to the King of Kings and we must distinguish ourselves from others.

    And the Bible says that the children of Issachar; they were Men who has Understanding of the Times, that knows what Israel ought to do.

    And I know that all of us as Disciples; we have learnt so much in the School of Disciples, to Understand and to know what we ought to do!

    Disciples of Christ are to be like Ezekiel described them in the Book of Ezekiel 44:23 – And they shall teach my People the difference between the Holy and Profane and cause them to discern between the Unclean and the Clean.

    The Disciples of Jesus Christ at this End-Time, the Bible says that we are the one to teach the People the difference between the Holy and Unholy (Profane), we are the one to cause them to discern between the Unclean and the Clean.

    We have to learn how to Separate and how to be Separated as Disciples of Jesus Christ.

    And the Word of God says in Isaiah 21:5 – It says Prepare the Table, set a Watchman in the Tower, eat and drink; arise ye Princes and anoint thy Shield.

    Now is the time to Oil our Shield for the deadly foes at our Gate.

    What Shield? I will just mention three (3) of them and we will go and Pray:

    1. We need to Oil our Shield of Faith.

    Oh, we have learnt so much in the School of Disciples but now it is time for us having the Understanding of Times and Seasons we are in looking at the evil going on around us.

    The Lord is saying that you are the Princes and Princesses that He has Chosen and it is time now to Oil your Shield – Your Shield of Faith.

    Ephesians 6:16 – The Bible says: Above all, talking the Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the Fiery darts of the Wicked.

    You have to Oil your Shield of Faith so that you don’t dry out and you can quench the Fiery darts that are flying around us today!

    it means that you have kept so much, you have been taught so much and it is time to begin to act it.

    Remember that James said: Faith without works is dead.

    If we have all these Disciples, we are more than enough to take over Nigeria. But are we ready to Oil our Shield of Faith and Stand in Faith like Moses did in Hebrews Chapter 11.

    The Bible talked about Moses in his own Times and Seasons – He had the opportunity of being called the son of Pharaoh.

    But the Bible says that by Faith, Moses when he become of Age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh. Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the People of God than to enjoy the Passive Pleasure of sin.

    1. We need to Oil our Shield of Evangelism.

    What you have learnt, you can’t even know them until you go out there and begin to Exercise it.

    You can’t even know the Power God had deposited in you until you go out there and begin to Exercise it.

    You are not Called a Disciple to sit down – You are Chosen as a Disciple to Understand the Times and Seasons, and arise to work against the evil in our Times and Seasons.

    Remember that the first Disciples after Jesus Christ had Chosen them – The Bible said that He sent them out and not to sit down.

    And the Bible says that when they returned, they said that the Demons are bowing down for them.

    Until you go out, Demons won’t bow down for you; until you go out, you can’t Change the situation.

    The Lord is saying: Your shoe of Evangelism – This is the time to put it on.

    The Bible says in Isaiah 60: 1-3 says: Arise and Shine for your Light has come.

    Mark Chapter 16; Jesus Christ Commanded us to go out and Evangelise and win Souls for Him and Preach the Gospel.

    You can work against this Season if you are not rising – The Sky is getting Stronger and now is our Time to rise and begin to walk in the Light in other to Change things!

    Hebrews 11:24 says: Moses when he became of Age – Disciples, we are of Age now. It’s time for us to rise because if not, just like the Bible says Moses Prefer to suffer affliction than to enjoy the Passive Pleasures of sin.

    He arose and said: I will rather be identified with the People of God.

    And the Bible is saying: This is our “Accepted Time” – We can’t afford to sit down.

    Faith without work is Useless – That is why as a Disciples of Jesus Christ, it is time for you:

    I. To rise.

    II. To start your own House Fellowship.

    III. It is time for you to go and demonstrate what God has deposited in you.

    IV. It is time for you to look Straight into the eyes of the Devil – And say: Devil, if you like; face me. I will show you the son of whom I am.

    This is the Time – If you get your focus on the Lord, He will take you to a New Height

    1. We need to Oil our Shield of Prayer.

    John 16:24; the Bible says that until now; you have asked for Nothing in my Name. Ask and you will receive that your Joy may be Full.

    If you get your Focus on the Lord, He will take you to a New Place of Rest and Peace!

    Isaiah 26:3 says that you will keep Him in Perfect Peace whose Mind is stayed on you because He trust in you.

    We need to Oil our Shield of Prayer because we need the Strength, we need His Power for us to be able to do this work and to Challenge the tides of evil that is rising in our Time and Season!

    And the Book of Jude tells us that we are in Trouble Days and so we must Stand and defend our Faith.

    Jude 1:3, the Bible says we should earnestly contend for the Faith which was once delivered unto the Saints.

    … This is the time to Contend for that Faith!

    Look around us – All kinds of evil are happening and it’s becoming difficult to go out.

    Why? Because Disciples are not rising.

    Our Daddy gave us an Example on Day 1 and I’m Trusting God that we are going to have more of that Example as from now on because we are going to rise; we are going to fight – Not Physical fighting but Spiritual fight.

    And the Bible says that our Weapons are Stronger than all the Carnal Weapons.

    You have a Weapon – The Name of Jesus.

    He said: Call upon me and I will answer you.

    Fight with the last drop of your blood for the Faith once delivered unto us.

    And we have an Assurance that when we are ready to rise; the Oil of Anointing will fall upon us this Morning.

    Psalms 92:10 says I have been Anointed with Fresh Oil.

    This Morning or as you read now on the Label of DMC; some People will be Anointed with Fresh Oil to do this work for the Master – That is what you need!

    We need the Fresh Oil of the Holy Spirit to empower us!

    So this Morning, we want to cry for the Fresh Oil!

    Are you ready? Rise on your feet.

    I am Proud to be Part of the first Set of Disciples in 1985 – Whatever I am doing today is because of what I received for that ten (10) years.

    And God has given you a Greater Opportunity that we don’t have – You can do it for ten (10) Months and finish.

    But the God of ten (10) years is still the God of ten (10) Months.

    This Morning, we are ready for Him? Please we have to Pray like Disciples:

    1. You are going to Pray and say: Father, I am Your Disciple; let Your Fire fall on me to consume every Consummables in my Life.

    Thank You Father. In Jesus Name we Pray – Amen!

    1. Hold Someone and face yourself – You are going to say: Father, this Fellow I am holding is Your Disciple. Oh God, every Consummables in his/her Life; let Your Fire consume it now.

    Thank You Father. In Jesus Name we Pray – Amen!

    1. Now, you will lift your hands up to the Lord and say: My Father, my Father; I need the Fresh Oil, anoint me with the Oil of the Holy Spirit now.

    Thank You Father. In Jesus Name we Pray – Amen!

    CLOSING PRAYER

    Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; You are our God, You are the One that has Chosen us to be Your Disciples and we know the Times and Seasons that we are Living in.

    This is a Time of Battle – It is not a Time to eat and drink.

    So Father, we ask this Morning for Your Oil of Anointing; so that we can go out for You, so that we can Stand against this evil of our Time.

    Oh God, anoint us!

    Where You hear a “Loud Amen”; let that Fire of Anointing rest on that Fellow now!

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    OPENING PRAYER

    Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come!

    We Worship Your Majesty: the Lord of Hosts, our Maker, our Friend, our Provider, the Only One Who can Protect us from all evil. You do not Sleep nor Slumberr.

    We appreciate You this Morning for the Calvary Love that You shed for us – You have taken Your Love abroad all over the world!

    And we Thank You for since the Day You started the Disciples Program in RCCG.

    Thank You for giving Your son (Pastor E.A Adeboye) the Vision. Thank You because the Vision has not died over the years.

    Thank You for all the Promoters of the Vision; and Thank You for all of us who You have Chosen (because we did not choose You). For all of us who have Chosen to be Part of that Vision. We are so Grateful.

    Thank You for that which You have started doing since Wednesday with the Coordinators; Thank You for Journey Mercies granted to all of us.

    Thank You for all the Coordinators, Thank You for all the National Staff and the International Coordinator. We are so grateful. Be Thou exalted for ever, in Jesus’ Name!

    We have heard; and You said, Faith comes by hearing Your Word. Your son that You have Chosen to be the Principal of the School has spoken;

    All his Lieutenants also, they have come to admonish us from Your Word. What else do we need?

    But the Bible tells us that those who have ears, they should hear. Because that is what the Spirit of God is saying.

    This Morning, we are here again; Your son has spoken to us. He has told us that we should arise and Shine.

    And this short time, I am going to represent You Lord; put Your Words in my mouth. Use me for Yourself, and use me for Your People.

    Whatever I say here today, inscribe it in my heart, so that I will be the first Partaker.

    Father, I Thank You!

    Even as we continue: let there be Healing in our lives, let there be Deliverance in our lives.

    Oh LORD, let the Backslider come back! Let there be a New Determination to serve You.

    Thank You for everything!

    In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    Let the Disciples of God shout hallelujah – Hallelujah.

    I want to Thank the Almighty God for giving me the opportunity to be in your midst.

    My Welcome Address to you has been read yesterday, and I don’t need to go through it again.

    And I want to Thank God for all the Speakers that have spoken before me – Most especially our father-in-the-Lord. We Thank God for his Life.

    And we Thank God for everyone that is here this Morning, or reading now on the Label of DMC.

    … Please, kindly be seated!

    Those who have spoken to us, those who are yet to speak to us: those who have come with the Power and the Grace of God in their lives to admonish us to be what God wants us to be.

    I salute all of you Sir, I salute all of you Ma – The Lord will keep you going, you will not fail, you will not fall. And you will make it, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

    I want to say “Thank You” to all the Coordinators in all their various Coordinating Centers – We really, really appreciate you!

    If you have not submitted yourself to be a Coordinator; or even if you have submitted yourself and you have not been doing the work – All the Disciples would not be here.

    So Coordinators Please, clap for Jesus in your Life!

    The Lord will reward you Mightily, in Jesus’ Mighty Name – Amen.

    All my Colleagues in the house this Morning, I mean all the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ: I congratulate all of us for the Convention.

    And I say: if the Lord tarries, this will not be the Last Convention we shall have, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

    Brethren, it’s true I have been given the Topic – When I saw it “Indispensable Ingredients.”

    No one is indispensable!

    To start with, my Lecture is going to be very brief. I want to summarize everything, because we are repeating the same thing.

    But one thing I want to say before I start is that, those of you who are Graduating and you are here in the name of Disciples because you want to be Pastors in RCCG, or Assistant Pastors, I still say Congratulations!

    But don’t deceive yourself – The Bible says God is not mocked. If you deceive yourself, you will find yourself later as a Deceiver.

    If you have come for a Certificate to get to the Office of an Assistant Pastor or Pastor, Deacon or Deaconess – it is good!

    But what is the use of Certificate without being Certified?

    If you have not been doing what you got the Certificate for, it is useless – That is where we are starting this Morning.

    Because many of us, we are deceiving ourselves, which should not be.

    We say we have received the Power of the Holy Ghost and yet, is He working in us? Are we true to ourselves? Are we Faithful to the Lord who has Called us?

    So this morning, after listening to the National Overseer, we don’t need any form of repetition.

    INDISPENSABLE INGREDIENTS.

    Who can be indispensable to God? Nobody! We are not indispensable.

    The only One Who is indispensable is the Lord Jesus Christ.

    And how do we find Him to be Indispensable?

    He tells us in the Book of John 15:4-5:

    4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

    5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

    “For without me ye can do Nothing” – He is the only One Who is Indispensable.

    The first thing I am bringing to you this Morning is that – We should recognise the first Honour of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Even in our lives we should understand – that which He has Called us to be and that first honour, is in the Book of Matthew 5:13-16.

    He says:

    Ye are the salt of the Earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.

    And I Pray, we shall not be “Good for Nothing” – Amen.

    It’s a very great honour; and it is not for just anybody, it’s for Specific People: that we are the Light of the world, and we are the salt of the Earth.

    And Jesus is the only One Who is indispensable.

    He says that I am the Light as long as I am in the world.

    Now He transferred the honour to us.

    … Can we clap for Jesus? Hallelujah!

    And tell Him individually: Jesus I Love You, I appreciate You.

    Because this is a Great Honour – “Ye are the Light of the world, ye are the salt of the Earth (all of us).”

    Whereas He is Light Himself. He now made a Pronouncement on us.

    We are not indispensable – Only Jesus alone is Indispensable.

    Not only that, He said something that baffled me the first time I read it.

    The Creed of the School of Disciples (SOD) – John 14:12, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and Greater Works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

    The Greatest Legacy anybody can give is what Jesus has given to the Church, to His Disciples, His Followers, His Believers – If you are His Believer, this Greatest Legacy has been left for us. It is more than Silver or Gold.

    The first time I read it, I said, “if it is from Jesus, it is true. Do we believe it is true? Yes!

    I should have contended this in my heart to say, “what else can any man do that will be Greater than You?” But if He says it, it is true. And He will make sure that it happens!

    … Let us shout Hallelujah again – Hallelujah!

    Say: I receive it Lord, that I will do Greater Works! (Amen).

    Brethren, that is what God wants for you and I. And since we know it’s from Him, let us trust in Him. Let us put our Faith in Him.

    The National Overseer (N.O, RCCG) Pastor Sunday Edward Akande has told us this Morning, “trust in the Lord – In the Lord Jehovah. He is our Everlasting Strength.”

    Brethren, we are not up to the task; none of us is Sufficient for it at all, at all. But He says, the desires of our Hearts, He will give to us. If only we’ll say “God, You have said it, it will happen in my Life;”

    I tell you, it will begin to happen – Amen!

    And let me tell you, whether we say “Amen” or not: the Word of God is already Settled – Amen.

    I will say to myself: it will happen in my Life – Amen.

    And there’s a Passage again that I want us to see, so that we don’t continue to cheat ourselves over the suggestion of the devil.

    The Bible says in the Book of Luke 11:35, Jesus Himself said: Take heed therefore that the Light which is in thee be not Darkness.

    He has called us the Light (in Matthew 5:14). He has called us the salt (Matthew 5:13).

    Brethren, how does Light become Darkness? – When you don’t put Oil in your Lamp.

    That’s what the National Overseer said, “you need to be refueling every moment, every day” – The anointing of yesterday cannot carry the thing you are going to face today. A Disciple must be on the run all the time and Refuelling is very important.

    If you have not read it, you know the Story of the ten (10) Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13).

    They were all waiting, they were Righteous Ladies who had not defiled themselves with men. And the Bridegroom was late in coming, and the Lamps of five (5) of the Virgins went out.

    What sustained the Lamps of the rest five (5) Virgins?

    They had extra oil; and they topped their Lamps with the extra oil.

    That’s what we are going to do this Morning.

    And the Book of Revelation 3:11 also warn us Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy Crown.

    “Hold that fast which thou hast,” – Many of us are careless, living a Life full of evil.

    Things that can Change our Minds are so rampant around us – From the Television, from the Social Media and even Adverts on the Billboards.

    We are brought here this Weekend for a refueling – To top up the oil in our Lamps; reminding us of the warning we are given in Luke 11:35.

    So many of us can waste time on our Phones more than the time we communicate with God, more than the time we read the Bible, more than the time we go for Witnessing, more than the time we spend to admonish the Young ones and even help the Elderly.

    There are so many works in the Vineyard that can make us to be occupied till He comes; but are we taking heeds? Little by little our lives are withdrawing back to the Darkness.

    Tell your Neighbour – That will not be your Portion, in the Name ofJesus – Amen.

    Don’t go into the Darkness again.

    The Lord has been so Gracious. He says, ye are the salt of the Earth. We are the Light of the world. Anywhere we go there must be salt. Where things go sour, we must put our sweetness. Where there is decaying we must Preserve.

    We must Preserve the Church from going into Decadence.

    Decadence is in the Church today – We are running from things that would build us up Spiritually. When it’s time for Praises, we say “let those Young ones be Praising God.”

    So many things we were enjoying those days, we are already withdrawing ourselves from them. That’s what that Luke 11:35 is saying to us.

    May Darkness run away from us, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

    “… Take heed, that no one else take your Crown.”

    Disciples, all I want us to Pray about today – You are going to make a Decision because everything in Life depends on Choice.

    Me I have Chosen Christ, and I am not going to any other god or any other Place.

    What have you Chosen? GOD!

    He says He has Chosen us, we have not Chosen Him. If He has Chosen you and I; If He has Chosen us He cannot hurt us.

    The Conclusion of the matter – As the Representative of the Almighty God, and the one put in charged of Disciples in RCCG (for now) till the Day of His Coming for me is to tell you:

    • Don’t go back to Darkness.
    • Top up to oil in your Lamp everyday.
    • Hold thou fast what you have received, so that Nobody will take your crown.

    Shall we rise up!

    PRAYER SESSION

    The only thing you are going to Pray for this Morning is to say: Father, have Mercy on me and help me.

    Help me Lord, don’t let me go back to Darkness. You have honoured me to make me Your Light, help me not to go back to Darkness.

    Help me to hold fast that which You have given to me. Don’t let anybody take my Crown.

    This Morning, I ask for extra oil in my Lamp. Let me Shine till the Day of Your Coming. Don’t let my Light go out.

    Everything that has been drawing me back into Darkness, I rebuke it, and I reject it this Morning. It will not be my Portion.

    Under this Great Anointing of Disciples Convention, Darkness I rebuke you, I reject you in any form, in any way you have been coming into my Life; today completely, I withdraw myself from you!

    You are not my Portion, I am of the Lord, Darkness has no Power over me. My God has Graciously called me the Light of the world. I am not going to return into Darkness.

    He has called me the salt of the Earth, I am not going to be trampled. My salt is not going to lose its savor, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

    This Morning, I come before You Lord, I need help! Lord help me to top up my Lamp with fresh oil. Don’t let my Light turn to Darkness. Uphold me!

    Oh, no one will take my Crown. I am the salt of the Earth, I am the Light of the world.

    No Darkness will suppress me. Whatever may be happening, I am on the Lord’s side. I Stand in Awe of You, I reject Darkness from my Life.

    I Thank You for the warning, I Thank You for the honour – That Greater Works shall I do. I want to do Greater Works. Only You alone can help me. I submit my Old desires; my New desire is to do Your Works .

    … If you have sincerely said all these, they will happen – Amen.

    Father I Thank You! I give You Praise. In Jesus’ Mighty Name I have Prayed – Amen.

    CLOSING PRAYER

    Our Father and our God we honour You this Morning. You are so Good to us. We cannot have a better Father.

    The One Who said, even as You are going: the works that You do, we will do, and even Greater Works – You have left a Great Legacy for us.

    And You said after you have finished, that You will come back and take us to where You are Yourself.

    What else do we want?

    Between now and the Time You will take us away, we want that Greater Works to begin in our lives.

    We therefore ask this Morning for Mercy: Mercy, Mercy, Mercy!

    Where we have doubted that Statement, let Your Faith spring forth from our Hearts this Morning.

    Let us receive the Statement with Gratitude and with Determination, that as from now on, “Greater Works” will begin to happen in our lives!

    Whatever has been contending the Power of Light with our lives: Body, Soul and Spirit, that is trying to throw us into Darkness, together this Morning we cry for Help: Save us, Deliver us, Help us!

    Top our Lamps with Your oil, don’t let the oil dry till the end of the Day!

    We Thank You because we shall begin to see the Manifestation.

    If You tarry, by this time next year, Testimony Galore will be our Portion.

    And in Heaven we shall not be found wanting.

    Thank You Father! In Jesus’ Mighty Name I have Prayed – Amen.

    Begin to Thank the Lord now – That you are no longer going back to Darkness. That His Statement in your Life will begin to come to Pass.

    OPENING PRAYER

    Our Heavenly Father, You are the Father of all fathers.

    We Thank You for Your Investment on our lives, we Thank You for saving our Souls, we Thank You for Mercy that we don’t deserve, we Thank You for Privileges and Opportunities – Please Father, accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    My Lord, I will like to register my Weakness as usual – That there is Nothing any Man of God can do without the God of Man. You are the God of Man.

    Father this Morning, use me and bless these Your Children in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    Wherever you are or as you read now on the Label of DMC – For saying Amen, you will not be hungry in the Kitchen in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    Because you are going to say a “Louder Amen”; your tomorrow will be “Better” and not “Bitter” in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    You will not beg to live and you will not live to beg in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    I want to Thank the Almighty God for this Year’s School of Disciples (SOD) Convention and I want to bless God for all the Principal Officers – I thank God for all my Brothers and Sisters.

    I bless God for our daddy – Daddy GO, I bless God for our mummy – Mummy GO and I bless God for our National Overseer – Pastor Sunday Edwards Akande who has spoken.

    I Pray that before you leave this Place today, the Blessings of the Lord will locate you – Amen!

    And beginning from today, the Blessings of God will never cease or diminish in your lives – Amen!

    The Topic is: “STOP LIMITING THE UNLIMITED”.

    Individuals can limit themselves.

    I mean we saw in the Bible, even among our friends, our colleagues, those who has been Limited.

    Look at the Story of Mummy Hannah for instance – She experienced Delay in Conception.

    In other words, she was in the School of Waiting – She was on the Waiting List of God.

    And I like to declare to my fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters that the “Time of Waiting” on the Lord is not a Waste – It is better to be on the Waiting List of God than to be on the Wasting List of the Devil.

    Despite the fact that Mummy Hannah experienced Delay, she never Limited herself – She never stopped going Shiloh.

    It was in one of the several Visitations to Shiloh that God remembered her and gave her Samuel.

    This Morning, God will remember you – Amen!

    If she has stopped going to Shiloh, the Story would have been different from what we are reading about today.

    Tell your Neighbour – Don’t Limit yourself!

    The other Possibility is: You can be Limited!

    In other words, People can Limit you and you are going to say No to them.

    So, I am going to focus this Morning on: 2 Kings 2:1-10:

    1. And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into Heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
    2. And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I Pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy Soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.
    3. And the sons of the Prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy Master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your Peace.
    4. And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I Pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy Soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.
    5. And the sons of the Prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy Master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your Peace.
    6. And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I Pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy Soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.
    7. And fifty men of the sons of the Prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.
    8. And Elijah took his Mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry Ground.
    9. And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I Pray thee, let a Double Portion of thy Spirit be upon me (You will receive Double Portion today in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!)
    10. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.

    May the Lord bless us through His Words in Jesus Name – Amen.

    May I say this that whatsoever you come across with in Life, if it is not a Blessing to you then it must be a Lesson to you!

    So, this Morning; we want to learn the Attributes of People who cannot be Limited.

    Because whether you believed it or not; even if you are not going to limit yourself; there are People out there among your Colleagues in your family, even in the Church who will limit you. But you will say No!

    There are People you came across – Permit me to sat this: They have “PHD”. That is “PULL HIM/HER DOWN”.

    But you must reject them because if you don’t reject the devil’s Offer, you can’t go far in Life.

    WHAT ARE THE ATTRIBUTES OF PEOPLE WHO CANNOT BE LIMITED?

    From the Passage that we read – 2 Kings 2: 1-10:

    1. The People that cannot be Limited has a Focus!

    They knew where they are going and so they focused on their Goal.

    Elisha was focused – He had the eyes that see and not the eyes that look. Many eyes look but few eyes see.

    He knew what he wanted and he Pursued it and he get it.

    He wasn’t after Title, but he went for the Mantle.

    Some People don’t have Future Ambition. We called them “NFA” – “No Future Ambition”.

    Elisha had a Focus on his Goal and he made it.

    So, if you don’t want to be Limited like Elisha, Please Focus on your Goal in Life!

    1. The People that are not Limited ignores Distractions.

    Elisha ignored Distractions and he never Compromised.

    If you don’t Stand for something, you will fall for anything because this Present world is full of Distractions and Attractions.

    Unfortunately, most of the Worldly Distractions, they came in Attractive Packages.

    I. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – The three (3) “Unyielding Hebrews Boys”; they refused to Compromise.

    II. Joseph refused to Compromised – He said No to the Request of his Master’s wife.

    If you rest on the Lord, He will take care of the rest!

    1. The People who don’t want to be Limited, they are Unstoppable.

    It doesn’t matter how hard you try to stop them, they remained Unstoppable.

    Elisha was Unstoppable:

    I. Elijah, his Master wanted him to wait but Elisha refused to stop.

    II. The sons of the Prophets tried to make him stop but Elisha kept on Moving Forward – Workiny in Purpose and in Faith; until he made it to Jordan – The Place of Reward!

    I say it with Authority right from this Altar – You will make it to your own Jordan (Amen).

    1. Those who cannot be Limited in their Journey, they don’t give Excuses.

    Elisha never gave an Excuse!

    Check the Bible very well, the People who gave Excuses never go far:

    I. Genesis 3:12 – Adam gave an Excuse after he ate the Forbidden Fruit.

    II. 1 Samuel 13: 11 and 14 – King Saul gave an Excuse when he failed to wait for Samuel as he was Instructed.

    III. Matthew 25: 14-30 – The Unprofitable Servant gave an Excuse.

    The end result of each of those People was Miserable!

    1. The People that cannot be Limited are they that are “Price Payers”.

    They are willing to Pay any Price in other to achieve their Goals.

    Remember that the Price Payers are the Prize Winners!

    Thank God today, Gifts will be distributed to Outstanding People.

    Remember that Vision without Provision is equal to Television.

    Elisha left his Business – He didn’t “Go Up”, he “Grew Up” under the Master!

    He was under Authority.

    You are not Permitted to be in Authority if you have not been under Authority!

    If you are not reigning now, it is because God still want you to be in Training. Then after your Training, you will reign – Amen!

    Another Danger is that if you appear to be “Too Early” before your time; you are likely to Expire when your Time comes.

    May you never Expire in Jesus Name – Amen.

    1. The People that cannot be Limited must “Stand Out” among the Crowd.We

    I. Elisha “Stood Out” among the Crowd – He followed his Master while the sons of the Prophets were just Spectators/Fans.

    II. Elisha left the “Class of the Rest” for the “Class of the Best”.

    Who are you Following?

    You must arise before you can arrive.

    Remember who you follow, determine who follows you.

    III. Elisha, needed a Leader as a Ladder; and he needed a Mentor and not a Mentholaton.

    You need Someone who is a Voice and not an Echo; otherwise you will not go far.

    The Question is: Who are you following?

    Who you follow determines what follows you.

    Not all Leaders are Good – Some of them they will discourage you, some of them will envy you.

    Anyway it is better to be envied than to be Pitied!

    I used to tell People when I had Invitations:

    Someone said that if I want to Set-Up my own Church, He will sponsor me. And the guy is a Multi-Billionare. Yes, he has all the resources and that is the 2nd or 3rd Invitations.

    And I told all of them the same thing – It is better to be at the back of a Lion than to be infront of a Cow.

    That Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) functions Properly; therefore I want to die under Authority – And I think that is Wisdom.

    1. Those who cannot be Limited don’t give up easily – They don’t quit irrespective of the Challenges.

    Because Quitters never win and Winners never quit.

    Elisha never gave up despite all what the sons of the Prophets were feeding him with – Don’t you know that your Master is going to be taking away from you today?

    He said that I know – Mind your own Business Man!

    And he continued the Journey – He never stopped and he never gave up.

    Despite all what Mummy Hannah went through; she never stopped going to Shiloh and at the end, God gave her a result that cancelled all the insults in her Life.

    Remember that “Difficult Roads” sometimes lead to “Beautiful Destination”.

    You remembered the Story of Abraham Lincoln of the United States of America (USA).

    He was a Man that walked in Purpose and Faith – He suffered several defeats but refused to “Give Up”. He was Unstoppable and Nobody could limit him.

    Maybe you have not read about him – He failed in Elections not once, not twice, not five times.

    I. In 1832, he failed in an Election.

    I. He contested again in 1838 and he failed.

    III. He went to the Polls in 1840 and he failed again.

    IV. In 1843, he lost another Election.

    V. In 1855, he still lost an Election.

    VI. In 1856, he failed once again to win an Election.

    VII. In 1858, he still failed in winning an Election.

    VIII. He kept on until 1860 when finally he was Elected as the President of the United States of America (USA).

    Tell your Neighbour – Don’t Quit; very soon “Iyanu” (Meaning Miracle) will “Sele” (Meaning Happen).*

    A former President in Nigeria here did it – The first time he failed, the 2nd time he failed, the 3rd Time he failed but in the 4th time; he made it – So, don’t quit but keep on moving.

    1. People who cannot be Limited don’t talk “Too Much” but they Act – Action!

    I. Elijah and Elisha started the Journey from Gilgal to Bethel; from Bethel to Jericho; from Jericho to Jordan.

    While they were going and these People were trying to limit him (Elisha); trying to discourage him – He kept on talking to them and was Moving.

    II. The Prodigal Son made up his Mind to return to his father, to return to his Source – He said it, he rehearsed it and he acted it.

    You must take “Certain Actions” before you can see God in Action!

    The Good News is that Elisha made it to Jordan – A Place of Reward!

    All the sons of the Prophets who were trying to discourage him, who were trying to limit him; they eventually bowed to him.

    I decree in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ that all your Mockers will soon bow to your Maker – Amen!

    So, let me ask you this Question – Where exactly are you right now?

    1. Some of us are still in Gilgal – The Starting Point and we are Comfortable.

    If you are “Too Comfortable” in Egypt, you will never make it to the Promised Land!

    1. Some of us has made it to Bethel – We are tired but Please, don’t be tired. Move Forward!
    2. Some of us are already in Jericho – But Jericho has Nothing to offer you.
    3. Make sure that you make it to Jordan – When you make it to Jordan, whatever People are running after will run after you (Amen).

    So this Morning, you need a “PUSH” – And God has sent me here to Push you!

    You don’t need to go Germany before you jam your Blessings!

    You don’t need to go to UK before you can be Okay!

    You don’t need to go to France before you get your Fiancee!

    If you are where God wants you to be and you are doing what God wants you to do; whatever others are running after will locate you where you are in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen!

    When you get to your Jordan, then you will be able to say:

    Ija dopin oguun si tan (The Strive is O’er, the battle done)
    Olugbala jagun molu (The Victory of Life is won)
    Orin ayo la o ma ko (The Song of Triumph has begun)
    Hallelujah!

    I want to end with a Story:

    There was this Multi-Billionare in a Particular Community who has just one beautiful daughter. She was a beautiful daughter and Marriageable but still Single – She was Single because no Man was bold enough to approach her because of the influence of her father.

    I think that her father got to know that he was the one responsible for the delay and so one day he went out and invited all the Marriageable Youths to his house and he told them that he was going to give them an Examination and whoever Passed will marry his daughter.

    So, all the Youths were Prepared – Some of them went with writing Materials (Pen and Pencil); some of them went with Cutlasses, Hoes and whatever.

    So, they got there on that Day and the Man came out and met all of them and said: You don’t need Paper or Pen ot Cutllasses or Hoes or whatever. I have a Swimmimg Pool and that is where you are going to do the Examination – The first Person to swim across will be my In-law.

    Oh God, the boys were happy – Today, we go marry. And so some of them had already removed their Shirts.

    On getting to the Swimming Pool, they were shocked.

    They were shocked because there were all kinds of Reptiles – Snakes, Crocodiles, etc and so they were afraid.

    DMC NOTES: Crocodiles are large semi-aquatic reptiles that lives in water. They are Lizard-Like in appearance and belongs to the reptile Order called Crocodylia.

    Those who has put off their Shirts began to wear them back – That if one want to die, must it because of what?

    While they were still contemplating, still wondering; one Man was already inside the Swimming Pool – And you need to see the way He was Swimming and finally he got to the other side of the Swimming Pool.

    When he came out, he shouted: Who Pushed me?

    Apparently, he didn’t go into the Swimming Pool Intentionally as Somebody Pushed him.

    But eventually, he got married to the Multi-Billionare daughter and he became Wealthy afterwards.

    You need a “PUSH” – I am Pushing you towards your Desstiny this Morning and you will make it in the Name of Jesus (Amen).

    I am Challenging you – You are not where God wants you to be yet. You can still make it and you will make it – Amen!

    And so the downfall of a Man who is in Christ can never be the end of his Life!

    1. In case you don’t know – Joseph experienced what I called a “PUSH”.

    What happened?

    I. His brothers envied him and they hated him – They casted him to a Pit, they removed him and sold him into Slavery. But they didn’t know that they were giving him a “PUSH”.

    II. He got to Portiphar’s house – Mrs Portiphar also gave him a “PUSH” by lying against him.

    Then Mr Portiphar without Due Process sent him to the Prison.

    III. When he got to the Prison, he met the Chief Butler who eventually recommended him to King Pharaoh.

    IV. He got to King Pharaoh and he eventually became the Prime Minister.

    Who did God used for Joseph?

    I. His “Wicked Brothers” gave him a “PUSH” – If they didn’t sell him, he won’t made it to Egypt.

    II. If Mrs Portiphar did not lied against him, he won’t have made it to the Prison.

    III. If he had not made it to the Prison, he won’t have met the Chief Butler who eventually recommended him to King Pharaoh.

    Please know that all things work together for Good!

    Elisha made it to Jordan – That is a Prayer Point. You too will make it to Jordan – Amen!

    I was somewhere and they sent Hired Assasin to me because I was disturbing some People.

    And then the Hired Assasin asked after me – Where is Pastor JT? And the Security Guard said I have not seen him.

    So, he moved towards the Security Guard and pull up his shirt – That Man saw “The Truth and the Life”.

    So I was called, we reported to the Commissioner of Police in Lagos and then the Commissioner of Police said something – He said: Pastor, do you know what I want you to do? Is it Possible for you to buy another car so that they won’t know? And I said it is Possible.

    So, I bought another car. Two Months after, I bought another one; a Month after, I bought another car.

    By the Month of December, I discovered that everywhere was filled up with cars and I now said that it shall be well with the Hired Assasin – If not for him, I won’t have acquired all these Assets.

    Don’t let anybody limit you.

    Excuse me sir – If you buy a Jet today, those who will talk will talk. True or False?

    If you don’t buy a Jet, those who will talk will talk. True or False.

    Why not buy and let them talk.

    Shall we rise Brethren!

    1. You will say: Father, I Thank You for what You have done through me. Please, take all the Glory in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    1. You are going to say: Father, I have started this Journey, Please let me finish well and let me finish Strong in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

    God will give you the Grace to leave the Class of the Rest for the Class of the Best!

    I want to give you a Gift before I leave:

    Few years ago, I got a Gift from my father-in-the-Lord – A Suit.

    And when I got home, I wore the suit with the trousers and I Prayed a “Dangerous Prayer” – And I told my wife that I won’t adjust or alter this Suit. I wore the Suit and it is bigger.

    And I said: Father, I use this as a Point of Contact – Apart from Anointing, I said that I want “Oversized Blessings”. I don’t want “Credit Alert”” but “Credit Alarm”.

    And the Lord answered my Prayers and He is still answering till now.

    But what really surprised me was that one of my Spiritual sons came to my house and said that I should Pray for him as he wanted to go to Abuja.

    I said: No, I’m not Praying for you. Wear this Suit. And I told him the Genesis of the Suit.

    He put on the Suit and we just decreed – Lord, a Credit Alarm like You did to me.

    He left my house here for Abuja and he got a Political Appointment instantly.

    I believed that there is Someone among those Clapping now or reading now on the Label of DMC; who want an “Oversize Blessings” – Yes o, for the DMC Family Members!

    1. I want you to cry and say: Father, before this Seventh Month (July) expires, let me receive “Oversize Blessings”; “Oversize Miracles”; “Oversize Anointing”; “Oversize Breakthroughs”; “Oversize Favour” in the Name Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Do for me More Than my Expectations.

    So shall it be – In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    CLOSING PRAYER

    Father, once again we want to say Thank You sir.

    We returned all the Glory to You for what You have done and for what You will still do.

    Father, take all the Glory in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    Brethren, with Authority I say right from this Altar – The Next Time I see any of you, I will hear Testimonies in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Are we ready to Pray for the Body of Christ?

    I want you to rise up to appreciate the One with a Whole Legacy for us.

    Anytime we go into the Holy Communion Service, we always read this Section in the Bible – 1 Corinthians 11: 23-33.

    There you will see: Do this in Remembrance of me.

    It is only the Ungrateful Child that will never remember his Parent – The Church must always remember the One who has given birth to her.

    We are going to raise our Voices – Let us Glorify the Lord of the Church; the One that is Holy, the Great and Mighty Saviour; the One whose Name is Emmanuel (The Lord with us).

    If He has not been with us, we should have been consumed over the years. He has kept the Church going on and Marching forward.

    Let’s give Him Praise and Honour – He is our God, our Saviour, our Friend – The Closest Friend to us.

    His Words has brought us Healings, it has brought us Deliverance. The Bible said that He sent His Words and it healeth us.

    Let us give the Lord of the Church Praise this Evening and let Him know that we appreciate Him so much.

    The Church of God; Jesus Christ Himself left so many Legacies for us.

    When He was departing after Ressurrection; He told the Disciples – Go and wait in the Upper Room. And He said that they should receive the Power.

    In Acts 1: 5-8; Men and Women were Promised the Power.

    Which means that it is a Great Legacy.

    You don’t leave your Child to be beaten by the Legacy when you can save your Child.

    After Jesus Christ has birthed the Church, He gave them the Power. And it is the Power that is still Upholding the Church till today.

    We have Celebrated Him for being our Lord but I want you to know something today – When they say that we should Pray for the Body of Christ, the Body cannot be without Head. And He (Jesus Christ) is our Head.

    And the first thing that He said is that He has brought us the Truth.

    Many of the Body of Christ today are already coming out of the Truth by believing Lies!

    Oh, do you think that Jesus Christ can do this?

    Tell them that it is written that: He is the Truth and He has given us the Truth.

    And He said that Truth will set us Free!

    If you believed in the Truth, shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

    1. The first Prayer is – Say: Lord of the Church, visit the Church today with Your Power again.

    If you can speak in Tongues, go ahead and speak in Tongues!

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    1. Body of Christ; you are now going to Pray that the Lord will send down His Truth into every Believers.

    That every Believers in the Body of Christ will know the Truth and if there is any form by which the Lying of the Enemies has entangled them into the Web of the Evil People; that tonight the Lord will set them Free.

    When the Spider do its Web, all animals even before they run into it are entangled.

    We are going to ask – Everybody in the Body of Christ will be Free tonight even from this Holy Ground.

    Shall we begin to Pray!

    Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    1. Brethren, we have been told in the Book of 1 Peter 2:9 – But ye are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, an Holy Nation, a Peculiar People; that ye should show forth the Praises of Him who hath called you out of Darkness into his Marvellous Light.

    We are now going to hold our hands together – We will Sing this Song. And then after we sang it once; we will now say: Lord as we have received a New Power, a New Strength; help us to Show forth Your Praises.

    We will no longer be Praising the Devil; the Economic Situations because in the Body of Christ, we shall see Abundance Life, Glory, Progress. We shall Profess it and Possess it and then show forth all these things.

    Perhaps after He has Set us Free and He has made us to show forth His Praises and bring People out of Darkness.

    If it is before now, the Body of Christ, the Walls are dilapidated – All kinds of things has entered.

    He said I will still build my Church because His Words are Settled Forever that no Gate of Hell will Prevailed against it.

    You are now going to Rejoice – And we will say: Father, wherever all over the world that You see the Gate of Hell is Prevailing against Your Church; rise up You the Master Builder and build Your Church with Your Power and Strength.

    OPENING PRAYER

    Ancient of Days, the One who has no Beginning and no Ending; the All-knowing God; we Worship You.

    We Thank You for Your Goodness, we Thank You for Your Mercy, we Thank You for Your Support, we Thank You for the Salvation of our Souls, we Thank You that thus far You have helped us and we know that You are not tired of helping us because You don’t get tired and You are never Weary.

    We Thank You because You are the Unchangeable Changer. Glory be to Your Holy Name. Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

    Today, as Your Word is going out to Your Children, we Pray that the Power in Your Word will bring Healings, Deliverance, Victory, Joy and Progress even to Your Children.

    So that at the end of today’s Service my Father and my God; we will all sing a New Song.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

    Let’s go ahead and greet one another with a Word of Prophrcy and said: From now on my Brother and Sister; it will be well with you – Amen!

    And you then, we may Please be seated!

    We will continue with our Series on: “For Whom The Heavens Open – Part 20; using Joshua as our Example!

    And today, we are moving on to Joshua 6:2:

    We have learnt in Joshua 6:1 that a Siege means that a City is Surrounded by a Wall for Protection is now Surrounded by Enemies Outside the Wall, making sure that those who are Inside can’t come Out and those who are Outside can’t come in.

    And we have learnt that a Christian Life is like that of a Siege or a “Besieged City” – That there are Enemies Outside, Lions out there, Roaring and looking for whom it may devour.

    But that the beauty of a Christian Life is that yes even if there are Enemies Outside but you don’t need to go Outside in the world because everything you need is within that City because all your Needs are adequately Provided for by the Lord Jesus Christ – Healings, Deliverance, Joy, Prosperity, Peace and even a Glorious Future; they are all within. And you don’t need to go out into the world because going out into the world is like a dog going back to its vomit.

    But now in Verse 2 – Joshua 6:2:

    And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the King thereof, and the Mighty Men of Valour.

    We are looking at a Passage that is heavily loaded.

    And the first thing we will look at in this Particular Passage is: “THE ISSUE OF PROPHECY”.

    What is Prophecy?

    Simply, it means God revealing what He is about to do!

    Amos 3:7 says God will not do a thing but He will first of all revealed it to His Servant His Prophet.

    In Isaiah 46: 9-10; the Bible tells us that the Almighty God declares the End from the Beginning.

    He will tell you things that are yet to happen if you are His Servant, the Prophet.

    And we have to remember that according to Revelation 1:8; that our God is the Alpha and Omega – The Beginning and the Ending, they all meet in Him.

    That is why He can declare things that are yet to happen because the things that are yet to happen He already knows.

    Like Somebody said: Where you are going, God is already there.

    According to Acts 15:18; the Bible says: Known unto God are all His works before the Foundation of the Earth.

    Long before Joshua was born, God knew that one day he will come across Jericho with His Words.

    The day that they were laying the Foundation of Jericho, God was there.

    Which explains that when He decides to Pull down the Wall, it was an easy thing for Him to do.

    And this should be an Encouragement for everyone of us – There is Nothing happening to us that is New to God! Our God is never taken by Surprise – He knows the End from the Beginning!

    So, even before you begin to Pray, Pray with the Confidence that the One you are crying to already knew that you will be Praying at a Particular Period in your Life and the answer has already been made available!

    It’s like a Governor or President declaring a Road Open – Before he says that he is cutting the Tape, the road had been Constructed, the road had been Tested and Nothing New is happening.

    That is why I have Good News for Somebody here or reading now on the Label of DMC – Your tomorrow will be alright (Amen).

    So, when we talk about the “Issue of Prophecy”; if any Prophet still turn out to be False, it is not from God to start with – God never tells you anything that is not already Completed. He tells you something that is already Settled.

    In Numbers 23:19; the Bible says that God is not a Man that He should lie, neither the son of Man that He should repent – Anything He says is already Settled.

    In Psalms 33: 8-9; the Bible says that the reason all Men should fear before God is that when He spake, it is done.

    And Romans 3:4 says: All Men could be Liars but God will be True.

    It is one of the reasons why I always just smiled when I hear some Prophets Prophesying. And you listened to their Prophecies and they say: If this happens then this is likely to be the Result.

    No, No, No; that’s not the way of God – God will say this is what I am going to do. Period!

    Because before He tells you, He has already done it.

    You go through the Scriptures and you will see several Examples of Prophecies:

    Genesis 12: 1-3 – Before Abraham left his father’s house; God had already said that I am going to make your name Great.

    So, when in Genesis 17: 1-21; after years of God’s Promise; God said to Abraham: Oh, you are going to be the father of a Multitude.

    Abraham Laughed – I am going Childless and I am about to die.

    And God in His Abode in Heaven must have been Laughing – Because by the time we finally get to Genesis 21: 1-7; Sarah herself said: Who would have thought that God will give a Child to an Old Woman like me.

    She said that God has made me Laugh and all who hears will Laugh with me.

    When God speaks, it is done – Don’t doubt Him at all!

    I mean in Luke 1: 26-38; He spoke to a Virgin and say: You will bring forth a son.

    That Girl said: How can that be?

    The Almighty God said that I am the One talking and not a Priest or Someone else. What I have said, I have said it.

    The response of every “True Child” of God to a Prophecy coming from God should be like that of Mary – “Let it be to me according to thy Word”.

    … Don’t query Him!

    When you go through Scriptures, you will see a lot of “If” of the Bible going to unbelievable length based on the Prophecies of God.

    For Example: In Isaiah 43:2; God Promised that if you go through Fire, it is not going to burn you – Only God can say that.

    So, when we now get to Daniel 3: 23-27 – When they threw in Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego into the Fiery Furnace; the Fire refused to burn.

    And the reason those boys were sure that the Fire is not going to burn them is Simply because God had Promised.

    Even when God speaks to Prophets and He says things that even Prophets find it difficult to believe; God will still Prove Himself.

    I mean in Ezekiel 37: 1-10 – God asked Ezekiel: Will these dry bones live? And the Bible makes it clear that the bones were not just dry but they were “Very Dry”.

    The Man of God said: Only You can tell.

    This is even beyond my Faith – And Ezekiel was not an Ordinary Prophet but a Great one.

    But God said to him – Son of Man Prophesy in my Name. Speak to the dry bones – Tell the dry bones that dry bones live.

    And you know the rest of the Story – The dry bones lived.

    I am not a Prophet – Prophets are those who sit down in the Office of Prophets and God speaks to them Per Second, Per Second.

    But once a while, I do hear from Him – And occasionally, I hear certain things that even will Challenge my Faith even though I knew that with God all things are Possible.

    I can never forget the case when we had a Holy Ghost Service at Adamasingba Stadium (DMC NOTES: Now known as Lekan Salami Stadium located in Ibadan Oyo State Nigeria).

    And the Almighty God said to me that: Son, in the crowd there; there is a woman. Under her armpit are not hairs but feathers. Call her out so that I will heal her.

    That is beyond Human Imagination – That is True Prophecy.

    It is not True Prophecy to say in Nigeria – Thus saith the Lord; in the Montg of June, it will rain tomorrow.

    It is the Rainy Season and so don’t tell me that it will Rain tomorrow.

    I never believed but He told me.

    God, we have had a Fantastic Night but let us go. If you say that there is a Woman out there with feathers under her armpit. I know and You know that she is not going to come out and everybody will look at me and say here goes a False Prophet.

    He said to me: Son, do you want her to die with her Problem? And I said No way. Alright, this is what God says.

    Some of you were there – She came out and God Solved the Problem.

    I now want to Prophesy to Someone – Every Problems that you are covering with your “Beautiful Dresses”; my Father will solve them today (Amen).

    When God makes a Promise, whatever it has to do to fulfill that Promise; He will do!

    In Matthew 44: 23-33; He told the Disciples – Go ahead, I will join you on the other Side of the Lake. And then they went and He went to the Mountaintop to Pray.

    By the time He decided to come and join the People, they were in a Storm – And He has already said that I will see you on the other Side.

    He walked on water to fulfill His Promise and He suspended the Law of Gravity.

    Whatever He has to do to fulfill His Promise, He will – Once He spoke, it is done!

    So, you need to learn, even just by Studying His Track Records that whatever He says, He will confirm!

    For Example:

    1. In John 6:48 – He said that I am the Bread of Life.

    And of course He confirmed it – He took 5 loaves of Bread and 2 Fishes; he began to break the Bread and fed 5,000 People.

    Somebody said: Where was the Bread coming from? – From the Bread of Life and He has twelve (12) Baskets Leftovers.

    One funny Fellow said to me – Oh, He didn’t actually Multiplied the Bread you know. He was Teaching the People and they enjoyed the Teaching so much that their Hunger disappeared.

    I said what about the twelve (12) Baskets?

    He said that I am the Ressureection and the Life – John 11:25 and He Proved it

    In John 11: 39-44; He brought back a Man who has been dead and buried for four (4) days.

    1. In John 14:6; He said that I am “The Way” where People say there is no Way.

    And in Acts 12 5-11; He Proved it – Peter was Imprisoned, he was tied and handcuffed in a Prison with the doors firmly shut and Security Guards are at the Outside.

    … Talk of Impossible to Escape!

    But when the Way showed up, the handcuffs fell and the Soldiers kept Sleeping. The doors opened on their own Accord and closed after Peter had gone out and the Guards were fast asleep.

    When they woke up the following day, they thought that Peter was still inside but he was already gone.

    I am Praying for Someone today or reading now on the Label of DMC – In the Name that is above every other name, God will make a Way for you (Amen).

    1. And then He made a Promise in Acts 1:8 – He says that you shall receive Power after the Holy Ghost is come upon me. That’s what He said.

    And He confirmed it in Acts 3: 1-8; when Peter (An Ordinary Fisherman) laid his hands on a Man who was born Lame and the Man began to walk, jump and Praise God.

    Why? He had received Power!

    That is why I am sure that it will grieved the Almighty God for those of you who has received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit to think that you are Powerless!

    It is as if you are saying that God is a Liar.

    Oh, I am not saying that to Judge you – I have been through it.

    I told you before when I was in Ilorin (DMC NOTES: Capital City of Kwara State Nigeria) several years ago and I was Praying like Nobody Business – God give me Power; I need Power to do this work.

    And He spoke to me and said: What have you done with the one I have given you? I said I can’t feel any Power?

    He said that did I say that Man shall live by Feelings?

    Then I say I will begin to use the Power.

    And He took me up on that because very early the next day; Somebody came with a Child who has not slept for days and the Doctors has sent the Chikd home to go and die.

    They brought the Fellow for Prayers and I said Oh God, what do I do now? And He said: What about yesterday’s Night?

    But there was no dodging because the Child was there.

    I took the Child in my hand and began to Pray Trembling. And all of a sudden, the Child went limp and I said Oh God, the Child had died.

    The Child didn’t die but felt asleep for the first time in Days – And that was the End of the Problem!

    Who told you that you are Powerless? Is God a Liar?

    1. And then you need to Pay attention to this – He Promised that He will Return.

    John 14: 1-3 – He says that I am going Home to Prepare a Place for you. When I finished, I am coming back again.

    It doesn’t matter what the situation may appear to be like now; Jesus Christ will Return!

    And I want you to know – There is Nothing wrong with the Power of the Most High God. If you are not getting everything you should get from Him, check your Faith!

    In Mark 5: 25-34; when the Woman with the Issue of Blood touched the Hem of His Garment and she got her Healing.

    And Jesus Christ said that Virtues has gone out of me – A Spark of Fire had gone out of me to heal Somebody.

    The Woman came and confessed to Him.

    Jesus Christ didn’t say: My Power had made you Whole. He said your Faith.

    The Power is there but out of this crowd, you are the only one who reached out to tap into the Power.

    So my Beloveth Children – Today or as you read now on the Label of DMC; tap into that Power!

    When God says that by His Stripes you are Healed; it is a Settled Matter.

    When He says that He sent His Words and it healed them and delivered them from all their Destructions – it is a Settled Matter.

    Reach Out and Claim your Victory!

    ALTAR CALL

    As for those of you who has not given your Life to Jesus Christ; this is why I tell you again and again – Don’t be a Loser, come to the Almighty God.

    He said: Come unto me all ye that Labour and are heavy ladened and I will give you rest.

    Come and Surrender your Life to Him and He will give you Rest!

    Let us bow our Heads in Prayers.

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

    The Ancient of Days, I just want to Thank You for all those who has made up their Minds that they want to Surrender their lives to You today.

    Please, as they cry to You today – Asking You to save their Souls and to forgive their sins and to turn them to Brand New Creatures; Please fulfill the desires of their Heart.

    Be Merciful unto them, let Your Blood wash away their sins, save their Souls, write their names in the Book of Life, receive them into the Family of God and give them a Brand New Beginning.

    And Lord God Almighty, all those who are already Your Children, because once You Speak, it is done.

    All Your Prophecies concerning them, fulfill today. Increase their Faith and let them obtain whatever belongs to them.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

    Now, I rejoice with those of you who decided to Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ today.

    I want to assure you that God helping me; from now on I will be Praying for you.

    But Please contact me as quickly as Possible – I will love to know your name, your Address and Prayer Requeats. And I Promise you, God helping me that I will be Praying for you.

    But Please locate one of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Churches near you and tell the Pastor there that I sent you and he will tell you what to do next.
