I want you to lift our hands to the Most High God and bless Him – Let’s give Him Glory for all He has done for us. Praise Him for bringing you to the Second Half of this Year (2023), give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration; bless the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
Praise Him – He is Worthy to be Praised, there is no one like Him. Magnify His Holy Name.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Worshipped – Amen!
OPENING PRAYER
King of Kimgs and Lord of Lords, Ancient of Days; we bless Your Holy Name.
We want to Thank You for January, Thank You for February, Thank You for March, Thank You for April, Thank You for May, Thank You for June and Lord Thank You for July. Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.
Father, You kept us through the First Half of the Year (2023); and now we are in the Second Half.
You are the All Sufficient – If You can keep us for six (6) Months, You can keep us for a Year.
So Father, we are Prayiny that throughout the Second Half of this Year (2023); in all our lives, let Your Glory Shine; everything that has to do with us, Perfect Oh Lord.
Anything called Barrenness, Lord God Almighty; dismiss it from our Church.
In all the homes where they are Trusting You for the Fruit of the Womb, this Month let there be Shout of Joy.
Anyone who is an Orphan, my Father and my God; today take over their situations.
You are the Husband of the Widow, Please take care of all Your Widows, take care of the Widowers.
As for all our Elders, my Father and my God; like never before; Stand by them, Strengthen them, let their Evening be far, far better than their Morning.
Anyone who might be in Need, in any form or the other – Young or Old, this Month (July) meet all their Needs.
As for Your Children who has been Faithful in the Payment of their Tithes and the Giving of their Offerings; in this Seventh (7th) Month of the Year; everything Pertaining to them, Perfect it Oh Lord.
Answer all our Prayers and let Your Name be Glorified.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and Prophesy to yourself and say: Brother/Sister, my Latter End will be better than my Former.
… Say it as if you really mean it!
And then, you may Please be seated – Glory be to God!
Genesis 17:1:
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou Perfect.
The very first time that God introduced Himself to Man, He says: “I am Jehovah El-Shaddai” – The God who is More Than Enough”.
When they want to put that in English, they found out that the best way to Interpret Jehovah El-Shaddai is to say that: “You are the Almighty God”.
But Bible Scholars tells us that: “Jehovah El-Shaddai actually means ‘God, your Mother’s Breast’.”
The implication of that is that – If a Woman gives birth to four (4) children at a time; there is enough Milk in the Breast to feed all of them.
After all of them has fed from the Milk and they are tired; there will still be Milk there.
It means that God is simply saying that whatever all of your Needs, I can Supply and there will still be Extra.
And so this Month in Particular, I have Good News for Someone – Before this Month (July) is over; God will bless you (Amen).
I. If you are Trustihg Him for the Fruit of the Womb, He will Surprise you – Amen!
II. If you are Trusting Him for a Partner, He will Surprise you – Amen!
III. If you are Trusting Him for Promotion, He will Surprise you – Amen!
IV. And if you are Trusting Him for Joy, He will Surprise you – Amen!
He is More Than Sufficient for the Barren – It does not matter how Old.
Genesis 18: 9-14; tells us of a Woman who was already 90 years Old. And when the Almighty God told her that she was going to have a Child, she Laughed. And the reason she Laughed was that it was already “Too Late”.
But then, God told her that: Is there anything “Too Hard” for the Almighty to do?
So, for those of you who are Trusting God for the Fruit of the Womb inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC, my Prayer is that your own will not be “Too Difficult” for God to do – Amen!
He is More Than Sufficient for the Widows/Widowers.
As a matter of fact, when you go through the Scriptures; you will found out that He has Very Special Interest in Widows.
I. In 1 Kings 17: 8-16; the Bible talked about the Widow of Zarephath.
She was a Widow and God visited her in the time of “Tremendous Financial Difficulties” and God made sure that she survived.
II. In 2 Kings 4: 1-7; we saw another Widow there who was “Completely Bankrupt”.
God stepped in and Solved the Problem.
III. In Luke 7: 11-15; the Bible talked about another Widow who lost her only son. God stepped in and raised the Dead so that He can wipe away tears away from the eyes of the Widow.
So all our Widows wherever you are inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC; God will take care of you – Amen!
Now, we just want to spend just a little bit of time with Orphans.
There are Categories of Orphans:
I. There are those we called “Half Orphan” – They just lost one of the Parents (Father or Mother).
II. When you are like me and you have lost both of them – Then you are a “Full Orphan”.
III. And then there are Orphans that your Parents are not dead – It is just that they say that they don’t want you.
Parents can forsake Completely a Child.
And the Bible tells us that even in that situation; God will take care of you!
Because Psalms 27:10; David said that even when my father and mother forsake me; God will Pick me up.
IV. And then there are Orphans where the Parents are alive, they love you but they are Helpless – They can’t do much for you.
And there are some of us who knows what we are talking about.
In a sense, I was an Orphan – My Parents loved me (I happened to be their Last Born). But for the first 18 years of my Life; I had no Pairs of Shoes. Not that they don’t want to buy; if you look at their own feet, they didn’t have for themselves too.
And the Almighty God says that if you find yourself in that kind of situation – Not that your Parents are dead, it’s just that they are handicapped. He says that He will still Help you – Amen!
In Isaiah 41:17; He said that when the Poor and the Needy are thirsty and they look for water and they can’t find; the Almighty God said that if they cry to me, I will answer them and I won’t forsake them.
All of us who are in Need for one reason or the other; today God will send you a Miracle – Amen!
I’m sure that you remembered what happened way back in 1956.
I was staying with my Uncle as my Parents were far away and the Uncle himself who was trying to look after me was as Poor as anybody could be. But whenever he has any food, we share.
So what happened when he has no food? – We starved.
So, there was this occasion – There was no food. He was hungry, I was hungrier and there was Nothing anybody could do about it.
And so the two of us were just sitting, watching each other. When all of a sudden, somebody knocked and came in – There was this Young Girl carrying a bowl on her head.
And she said to my Uncle: My Sister said that I should go and give you this food – Pounded Yam with Chicken Stew.
My Uncle said: I don’t know your Sister but the girl says that my Sister knows you.
Okay, my Uncle said Thank You; when I have money, I will send you something.
As soon as the girl turned, we descended on the Pounded Yam. We were breaking the bones of the Chicken when the girl returned and said: I’m sorry, I came to the wrong house.
A Miracle will come to your house today – Amen!
Even if it is not meant for you; in the Name that is above every other names; a Miracle will come to your house today – Amen!
God is enough for the Elderly.
The Greatest Problem of the Elderly is Loneliness – They won’t tell but that is the Truth!
The children has grown and they have gone – Some of them has “Japa” – Not necessarily “Japa” to London but they just “Japa” from home.
DMC NOTES: “Japa”, a Yoruba slang which means “to run, flee or escape”. And it has taken root in the Minds of Young Nigerians and become something they aspire to, in hopes of a better future in a more Structured System.
And the Older you get, the Lonelier the situation becomes!
One of the things God told me some couple of years ago is that you just have to get used to this – That the Older you get, the more that are your friends who will die will be; because everybody will go at his/her own Appointed Time.
Some People that are Younger than you will die – You can’t stop them as they have their own Appointed Time!
But the Good News is that God doesn’t die – Your friends may go, but God is still alive!
And He made a Promise in Isaiah 46:34 – He said that I am the One who has been carrying you from your Mother’s Womb, and I will carry you to your Old Age.
He made another Promise in Hebrews 13:5 – He said that I will never leave you, I will never forsake you.
And so, those of you who are Elders – Relax! Anytime you feel Lonely, just remembered that there is Someone by your Side who is as Close to you as your Shadow.
He says that: The Lord is my Shade on my Right Hand.
And I know what I am talking about – I knew when my Mother grew Old and all my Sisters were gone – Married and went to their husband’s house.
And I am the “Favourite Boy” and I have grown too and I have to live by my own Assignment.
And so, she was in Ilesha (DMC NOTES: Ilesha is a Town in Osun State Nigeria); in a little house that God built for me at the Outskirt of the Town – In those days, it was far into the Bush; with just a handful of houses there.
Each time that I went to see her – Oh, she is so happy. And we will sit down and she will tell me things that happened years ago.
When I go the next time, she will repeat the same thing. So, I knew that she just wanted Somebody to talk to.
When it is time to leave, I can feel her Agony, feel her Pains but what can I do? I can’t sit down with her.
So, I cry to God – Please Lord, help me to Solve this Problem.
And Solving the Problem, let me tell you is not getting an Househelp – There are certain things that you don’t discuss with an Househelp.
When you want to talk, you want to talk to Somebody if you are not of same Age, but at least there is little of resemblance.
And then, God answered my Prayers in a Miraculous Way.
What happened?
One Man just became Mad in the Neighbourhood and just began terrorising People.
So on one occasion, this Mad Man was chasing a Woman – The Woman had a baby on her back and another Child by the hand.
When she looked back and realised that the Mad Man was closing in on her; she dropped the baby she was holding and escaped with the one she was carrying.
The Mad Man got to that little Child – To tell you how Mad he was, he took the hand of the Child and broke it.
And then the Mad Man turned and saw an Elderly Woman – Not very Old but fairly Elderly and began to Pursue that one.
And that one ran and the only house nearby was my house – So, she ran into the house where my Mother was alone.
And the Mad Man stopped – The Mad Man saw something about the house and decided not to enter.
From now on, the devil won’t enter your house – Amen!
That Elderly Woman said: Okay, this is a house where a Mad Man will not enter. She said to my Mum – Please, can I come and live here?
… That is how my own Problem was Solved!
In God’s Own Miraculous Way; every Problems of those of you who are Elderly will be Solved today – Amen!
But now, when God spoke to Abraham, and said: I am Jehovah El-Shaddai; He said something to Abraham – Walk before me!
That tells you one thing Straightaway – God has a “Before” and He has a “Behind”.
“Walk before me means: Walk where I can keep my eyes on you; walk where I can see you!
Because 2 Chronicles 16:9 says: The eyes of the Lord is running to and fro throughout the whole Earth seeking for Somebody to Help.
Because the Bible also says in 1 Peter 5:8 – It says your Adversary, the devil like a Roaring Lion is walking about seeking whom he may devour.
Every Morning when we wake up and we want to go about our Business; the devil is also awake and he is looking for food.
If you stay where God can see you, He will see the Enemy before the Enemy can come to you because His eyes are running, the Enemy is walking and the One who is running is going to arrive before the one who is walking.
But if you refuse to stay where He can see you – You want to stay behind Him; then you are on your own!
And the reason why anybody will want to walk where God cannot see him/her is because you have something to hide.
If you have Nothimg to hide from the Living God, you will say I want to walk before You, and I want You to see me.
That is why you hear me cry every time – Be Holy because His eyes will not behold sin.
If you think that you are Clever and there are things you can do behind Lock Doors that God cannot see; only one Fellow has something to lose and that will be you!
The only People who tremble when they heard that the Auditors are coming are the People who has something to hide.
He said: Walk before me and be thou Perfect!
The Almighty God can see Danger far ahead and He knows how to Prevent the Danger from coming to you Provided you are walking where He can see you!
Years ago, I was walking in the Redemption Camp – The Redemption Camp then was still more than ninety five Percent (95%) Bush and I loved to walk in the Footpaths in the Bush to Pray so that Nobody will disturb me.
And I was going about, Praying, enjoying myself because I was alone with God. And all of a sudden, something told me to Stop and I Stopped.
Suddenly, I realised that this is my Normal Route – I can see something on the road and it looks like a Log of Wood. I thought maybe Somebody came to the Bush, cut down some Trees and didn’t carried it back to its Place.
But all of a sudden, it looks as if the wood is moving.
When I looked more closely; I saw a huge Python right across my Path. And the moment the thing saw that I have recognised it, it raised up its head to attack me.
And now that I have seen it, I moved back a little bit and as I turned, I saw a big Stone – Already Positioned there by God.
I don’t need to tell you the rest of the Story – The Python died and I am still alive.
DMC NOTES: Python Snakes are Large in size and Powerful. They can kill any Living Animal or Human by squeezing. They have a triangular head, sharp teeth, and Prehensile tails. Their teeth are backward curving.
Any Danger coming your way; in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, God will reveal it and He will give you Victory over it – Amen!
But are you willing to walk before Him?
That is a Big Question – The rest is up to you!
ALTAR CALL
So, those of you who think that you are doing yourself a Favour by living in sin – You are doing yourself a Disfavour.
So, if you are here and you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ, and if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ today; you better come because if you want Him to be Sufficient for you; you must walk before Him.
So, if you are saying: Lord, I think that I better surrendered my Life to You – I want to walk before You in Holiness, in Purity; then come now.
He will save your Soul, He will forgive your sin and from this moment onwards, you can begin to walk together and the All Sufficient God will meet all your Needs.
So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, I will count from one (1) to seven (7) – Before I say seven (7), come and Stand before the Altar and then we Pray for your Salvation.
I’m counting now!
Now, those of you infront and those of you who are on the way; cry to Jesus Christ – Ask Him to Please have Mercy on you, to save your Soul and to wash away your sins. Promise Him that from now on, you will want to walk with Him in Purity and Holiness; that you will Serve Him.
That all you want is that He will save your Soul, wipe away your sins and you will serve Him for the rest of your Life.
And the rest of us, let us Stretch your hands towards these People and Intercede for them – Let’s Pray and ask God; the One who saved our Souls to save their own Souls also.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name for Your Words.
I want to Thank You very, very much for these People who has come forward to Surrender their lives to You.
Father, Please receive them in Jesus Name, have Mercy on them and let Your Blood wash away their sins. Save their Souls Lord, Please like You saved my Soul, save their own Souls also and give them the Grace from now on to be “True Children” of God.
Give them the Grace to walk before You in Holiness and in Purity all the days of their lives.
And I Pray that from now on, any time they cry on to You, You will answer them by Fire.
Thank You Father.
For in Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

TOPIC: LIVING IN EXPECTANCY – PART 4 (FIGHT FOR IT)

Let us rise up together as we make our “DECLARATION OF GATHERING” in this “YEAR OF GATHERING”.
Are you ready? Say with me:
I Proclaim Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. The Lord is the Shepherd of my Soul, my Shelter by Day, my Light by Night.
In His Name, we Plough our fields, by His Spirit we gather the Harvest, in His Light we seek and find.
In this Year of Gathering, the Lord of the Harvest has commanded: Launch Out into the Deep. At His Words, we cast our Nets, we gather in Souls and Substance for God’s Kingdom.
The Lord is our Reward; in this Season I received God’s Portion set aside for me: Full Measure, Pressed down, Shaking together and running over.
Nothing is Lost and Nothing is wasted in Jesus Name – Amen!
I am doing Part 4 of the Series I have Titled: “Living in Expectancy”.
We have talked about Living in Expectancy – That each one of us have something we want in our lives, something we are expecting to happen.
Most of the time it’s Good – We want Good things for ourselves; we want Good lives, we want to be Blessed Financially, we want to be Healthy, we want to have Good Careers, we want to achieve Great things.
Just as Ephesians 3:20 says; Now to Him who is able to do Exceedingly Abundantly above all that we ask or think,
That is Scripture, that is talking of Expectation.
But Expectations don’t always happen; there are things we have to do so that our Expectation become a Reality.
Today I am talking about “Living in Expectancy – Part 4 (Fight for it)”.
Fighting for your Expectation – If you have an Expectation; you want God to do things for you. If you are looking for something Great in your Life, it’s not going to land on your lap by accident; but you have to learn to fight for it.
And we are going to look at a couple of Scriptures that will Position our Minds as we fight for our Expectations.
Let’s begin with 1 Corinthians 16:8-9.
At the time Paul wrote 1 Corinthians, he was in Ephesus.
And so, from Ephesus he is writing to the Corinthians Church. And he tells them in the Process about something that is happening to him in Ephesus.
Although at this Point the Letter is talking to the Corinthians, he is referencing something that is happening in Ephesus.
It is always important to understand the Context which the Bible is written, so that you can Properly Understand and Position it well.
Here Paul is writing to the Corinthians, but he is writing about something happening to him in Ephesus.
And he says he will stay there in Ephesus and wait until the Feast of Pentecost, before he will make other Plans.
1 Corinthians 16:8-9;
8 But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost.
9 For a Great and Effective door has opened to me, and there are many Adversaries.
… And so Paul describes the situation in Ephesus – What does he say?
“For a Great and Effective door has opened to me;”
He is saying, we have access, we have opportunities: something Powerful has been opened unto me.
Can you imagine when you are living your Life, you come to a Point in your Life, and you just feel (like we say these days) something Mega has happened to me – “A Great, Powerful and Effective door has been opened to me.”
And may the Lord open Effective doors unto you – Amen!
You know there are moments in our lives when we just feel “a door has opened.” You just feel, something Great is working out for me; God is opening a door.
And that is what Paul is saying. He says, “a Great and Effective door has opened to me;”
You need to understand what is happening to Paul in Ephesus, in order to understand why he is talking this way.
Because if you look at Acts 19, which records Paul’s stay in Ephesus.
Acts 19:11-12 says: Now God worked Unusual Miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even Handkerchiefs or Aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil Spirits went out of them.
This is happening in Ephesus; that is what Paul is saying – Miracles are happening, Powerful doors of Ministry are opening.
There are moments in our lives, you just feel that you are in a Good Place – “I am in a Good Place, and things are happening right”.
And so Paul is saying: Corinthians, Ephesus is Good for me because these Mighty things are happening.
“And there are many Adversaries” – Opposers Conflicts.
In the midst of this Great time of Ministry, Paul speaks of Oppositions.
Who are these Adversaries? What is Paul talking about?
Now, for you to get the context of what he is talking about, Acts 19:24-28 says; For a certain man named Demetrius, a Silversmith, who made Silver Shrines of Diana, brought no small Profit to the Craftsmen. He called them together with the Workers of similar Occupation, and said: “Men, you know that we have our Prosperity by this Trade. Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has Persuaded and turned away many People, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands. So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the Temple of the Great goddess Diana may be despised and her Magnificence destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.” Now when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!”
Paul says, a Great and Effective door has opened to me – Mighty Miracles. And then he says, there are many Adversaries.
Who are the Adversaries? He described one of them as Demetrius.
Who is Mr. Demetrius?
He is a Coppersmith – He made images of the Chief diety of Ephesus. And the Chief goddess of Ephesus is diana – People who go to Ephesus buy images of diana.
Demetrius is the main Producer of these dieties; so he calls all the Craftsmen who made the deity and said, “Business is under threat; this Paul is spoiling our business. And not only here in Ephesus, but everywhere he goes he is telling People that gods made with man’s hands are useless.” So, nobody is buying our gods again. Let us go out and get rid of Paul.
Paul says, a door has opened, I see Miracles; but there is Demetrius – There are many Adversaries.
Demetrius is not the only Adversary, there are others, like the seven (7) sons of Sceva, trying to imitate Paul’s Ministry and putting confusion in the minds of the People.
So Paul recognises: in the midst of my Expectation being met, there are Adversaries.
Because believe you me, your Breakthrough is Somebody’s Breakdown; your Joy is Somebody’s Sadness: and the Person is not going to fold his or her hands and say, “Hallelujah, he is doing well let me encourage him”.
He will come after you!
And don’t be surprised that sometimes your Greatest Adversary is showing up when your Greatest door is opening – A door has opened, there are many Adversaries.
What are you going to do when in the midst of your Breakthrough, you have harsh repsonses?
Now this is where a lot of People abandon their Expectations because there is too much trouble.
They expect Life to be Smooth sailing, Problem-Free; that when good things are going on around them everybody would rejoice with them.
In the midst of your Breakthrough, your Joy, God’s favour; in the midst of all the Good things happening, expect Demetrius – He is going to show up!
Sometimes Demetrius shows up in the Office, in your Marriage – Your Marriage is getting on well, Oh this is the best time of our Marriage. And then Demetrius shows up! Lady Demetrius, Madam Demetrius, Mr. Demetrius shows up!
So, our Expectations are always surrounded by battle (warfare). And you have to be ready to fight for it.
Somebody say: I am going to fight for it!
Now, many of us know how to fight “Against” things, but we don’t know how to fight “For” things – We know how to fight against Enemies.
And in Africa our Enemies are very Simple – Witches and Wizards.
We know how to fight “Against” them.
But most of us don’t know how to fight “For” the things that we want – For our Expectations, for the Good things that God has given to us.
So I will take you through another Scripture to show you how to fight for the things that God has given to you.
We go to 2 Samuel 23:11-12 – The Passage is talking about a Group of People called “David’s Mighty Men.”
These are Warriors who stood with David – Before he became King they gathered around him and fought with him. Also, when he became King they fought to Protect him.
And the Bible enumerates them.
And in 2 Samuel 23:11-12, it talks about a Particular Person among “David’s Mighty Men” and what he did.
I want you to listen carefully – “And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a Piece of Ground full of lentils. So the People fled from the Philistines. But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a Great Victory.”
Shammah is a Great warrior – Incidentally his name (Shammah) means “Desert or Dry Place.
But his Life is not dry; his Life is exciting and he was very Fruitful.
Shammah is attacked, the event took Place most likely during the time of Harvest in Israel.
Shammah and his friends are expecting a Great Harvest, and then the enemy shows up.
At the time when they feel, I have worked so hard – I have Planted, I have waited, it is my Harvest Season and I am going to reap my Harvest.
The Philistines show up and they say, you are not going to take what you have worked for – We are going to take t from you.
So the Philistines came to attack – And we see Shammah’s response.
Many times when we go through difficulty we ask, why am I going through this? Why the attack?
Why was Shammah attacked? Why did the Philistines come against him?
We are attacked because we are Different.
There are People who are Philistines; and the Philippines are against the Israelites, because the Israelites are a “Different People.
The word ‘Philisitine’ literarily means a People of another Tribe.
In Social Commentary, a Philistine is one who is hostile and ignorant – Especially in the Heart.
In the Bible, it is used for People who are not on God’s Side.
One thing you are going to be rest assured is – If you are a Born Again Christian People will hate you for Nothing. It comes with the terrain.
The day you say, Lord Jesus come into my Life, be my Lord and Saviour, you are enlisted into God’s Army. Instantly, you have enemies.
Years ago, I wasn’t even a Pastor then – I was in a Christian Fellowship, and one of the Young Ladies in the Fellowship came to me and said Bro Mensa, I don’t want to be in the devil’s bad books. And I said, what do you mean by that?
She said, I don’t want the devil to hate me. I said, then don’t get Born Again, because he hates you for giving your Life to Jesus Christ.
For your information my friends – You are in the devil’s bad books!
You don’t want to be in the devil’s bad books? But you don’t also consider that you are in God’s Good books.
You see, once you are in God’s Good books, you are in the devil’s bad books. It is a Ledger – If you are on the asset, you will also be on the other side.
You see, you are in God’s Good books; you are in the devil’s bad books. That’s why Shammah was attacked, because there are Philistines who hate God’s People. And the devil is going to inspire somebody to come against you.
And sometimes they are going to come at your best moments in Life – When everything is working, when the Harvest is ready and you are about to reap! they show up.
They are like Demetrius, they show up when your door has opened.
Somebody say: I am Different!
… We are attacked because we are Different.
We are attacked because we have Potential.
Shammah had a Piece of Land – He had managed to acquire a Piece of Land.
In the enemy’s Territory, the Land is a Potential.
Land is Nothing, but it shows you can do something – If you have Land you can build, farm, do something!
The Land itself is Nothing, but it shows what you can do.
He had a Piece of Land. It’s not even a massive Land; it’s just a Piece of Land.
We are attacked because we are Productive, we are Fruitful and we are Producing Results.
The Land is full of lentils.
So can you imagine – He is a Foreigner, he has acquired Land and the Land is Producing Results. That is why he is attacked!
If he sat down doing Nothing, just hiding and Praying, Nobody would attack him.
If he sat down with no Potential, Nobody would attack him.
The thing about Life is that sometimes your Enemy sees more Potentials in you than you see in yourself.
Herod saw Potential in Jesus -The People of Bethlehem saw another baby that has been born in a Manger with no Potential. Poor father, Poor mother, born in a Manger – He is going nowhere. But Herod in Jerusalem saw Potential in this Baby born in Bethlehem; and so decided, we have to get rid of him.
Woe on you when your Enemy sees more in you than you see in yourself.
Shammah thought that he just had a Piece of Land – “Oh, this is my Harvest of lentils.” But for the Philistines it is a big deal. And so they came against him.
Your Potential attracts attack!
Who you are going to be, is the reason why you are fighting your battles today.
Every attack you are facing today is because of what God wants you to be – Your Potential is attracting attacks!
And that is what Shammah is going through. And interestingly, when the Philistines showed up, everybody ran.
Have you considered that Probably you are running away from your Potential, from your Assigned Place, from your Purpose because you feel, “Life is too hard, everywhere I go People hate me”.
That is Good Life – It means everywhere you go, People see Potential; everywhere you go they see what you are going to be.
You don’t run from your Potential; you fight for your Potential.
Somebody say: I am going to fight for it!
So, let’s see how Shammah responded and how we must fight.
2 Samuel 23:12 says, But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines.
First thing, if you are going to fight – Position yourself in your Inheritance.
That is exactly what Shammah did – He did not abandon the Land that the Lord has given to him. He acknowledged his Inheritance, he stayed in it, he didn’t leave it.
As Christians, God has given us Great and Precious Promises – That is our Inheritance.
When you go through difficulties, don’t abandon your Land – Stay in your Inheritance, stay in the Promises of God, stay in the Word of God.
The battle is going to be severe, but you are going to stay and fight; because the Expectation of the Righteous shall be fulfilled – Amen.
But if the Righteous runs away from their Expectations, it will not be fulfilled – They have to stay!
Shammah Positioned himself, everybody left him because the Philistines are a Troop. A gang of Military men from the Philistines came against him, his friends abandoned him.
Sometimes that is how Life is – When you are in the Greatest battle, People abandon you.
It doesn’t mean you should abandon yourself – Everybody abandons you, but you are going to stay!
Somebody say: I am saying to fight!
God has a Plan for your Life – It will attract attacks; but you don’t run but you station yourself in the field and you fight.
The Bible says, he Defended the Land.
We Protect what God has given to us (our Destiny).
We Protect His Calling on our lives; we Protect the Purpose God has for us.
If God wants me to be Great, I am not going to mess up my Life; I am not going to destroy my own Potential.
No, you protect it!
Shammah defended the Land, he defended his lentils.
Somebody would say – Why should you stand there and fight for lentils? After all your Life is more important than lentils?
But you see, in Life, if you run away from this battle, you will run away from the next one too.
Sometimes in Life, you must stay and fight! Because if you allow them to run you out on this, you go there somebody is going to run you out on that.
At some Point you have to say, I make my Stand and I take my Stand in this field; and I fight and defend what God has Promised me and what God has given to me.
You have to fight for it!
It’s like buying Land in Accra – it’s something else. If you run you will keep running. At one point you have to decide, I am staying: I am Shammah, this is my Land, this is my Inheritance, this is God’s Promise.
For every Promises that God has given you, there will be Adversaries – Some are Demetrius, some are Philistines. They would show up in your open door, in your lentil farm, in the Place of Promise. And when they show up, you have to fight.
And the Bible says, he killed the Philistines. He pushed them back, he override them and he took that Land.
And I like how the Bible ends with that Story – It says, “So the Lord brought about a Great Victory.”
Isn’t it amazing? That the one who was Standing, fighting was Shammah; but the Bible says, “the Lord brought about a Great Victory.”
In other words, God was with Shammah all along – God was with him, God was directing him.
But I am sure when he was fighting he didn’t feel God – He Probably thought, “I am alone, God has abandoned me, He is not here.”
… And he fought, when he finished, the Bible says, it was all God!
You are in a battle today, it is all God. I say, it is all God: He is with you in that battle and you are not going to run.
Somebody say: I am not going to run; I am fighting for my Expectations, I am fighting for my Destiny, I am fighting for my Future – No running!
Listen to me, some of you have been running for too long – And you have been running since then.
Because anytime you see trouble you run; you see danger you run. And the devil has mapped you out;
And all the devil has to do is to show you Masquerade and you have been running and running. And you have Nothing to show for your Life.
But in this Season I Pray for you – I Pray for the Courage that God gave to the Apostle Paul to face Demetrius;
I am Praying for the Courage that God gave to Shammah to face the Philistines;
I Pray for a Fighting Spirit, for the Spirit of Courage, Spirit of Boldness;
You will not run! The enemies may be a Troop, you may be alone; you will not run!
Because in the end, it is all God; and He is going to give you the Victory!
CLOSING PRAYER
So, Father I Pray for every one that is under the Sound of my voice or reading now on the Label of DMC;
Let today be the Day they will be taking their Stand!
From today, there will be no running, there will be no turning back, there will be no fear!
From today, we take our Stand in Your Promises, we take our Stand in Your Purposes, we take our Stand in Your Expectations.
There may be a Troop against us, but we’ll Stand in the Name of the Lord to fight!
May You grant Victory to Your Children, O LORD.
In every battles they are involved in, let this be the Day when they start fighting.
And let us come to that Day when it will be said, “So the Lord brought about a Great Victory.”
May that be your Testimony!

OPENING PRAYER
Father, we are saying Thank You.
Thank You for giving us the Opportunity to be here this Evening.
Thank You because many are Called but You allowed only few to get there.
Thank You because what You will do for us in the Next fifteen (15) Minutes will be more than You would have done for us in the last fifteen (15) Years.
Father, for wherever You find a “Proper Amen”; You will answer them first in Jesus Name.
Lord, I’m just a Messenger; I asked Oh God that You speak through me, think around me and Lord let there be Deliverance tonight in Jesus Name.
Thank You Almighty Father.
In Jesus Precious Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Firstly, I will like you to help me appreciate our father-in-the-Lord and mother-in-the-Lord and the Leadership of The RCCG “The Americas” – God Bless You for this Honour.
The Pastor Seed Family (PSF) will be fifteen (15) years this August (August 2023) – So, if you are a Seed in the House or reading now on the Label of DMC; jump and say: I receive my own Award for growing through the Concrete!
Matthew 1: 22-23
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the Prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Grab your Neighbour like you want to shake their hands and ask them: Is God with you? Ask another Person and say: Are you with God?
So, our father-in-the-Lord had an Analogy while we are talking about what is it that will mean “You being with Emmanuel” and “Emmanuel being with you”?.
And in that Analogy, he was talking about Intimacy.
A Pregnant Woman cannot be separated from their child except when the child is born.
Of course, a Pregnant Woman can’t leave the baby and say that I want to quickly go and Shower and come back.
As a matter of fact, when my wife was Pregnant the last time; I asked if we could do an Experiment – And I tied Water Melon around my belly so that I can feel the Experience of what she is going through.
Of course, I did not last for thirty (30) Minutes with the Water Melon because it later fell and we just chew the rest of it.
So, when we are talking of Emmanuel and going deeper into that kind of Relationship; it is like you living with a Landlord as a Tenant!
And of course, Jesus is our Landlord in this case!
So, you have to stay with me as we run through this Experience!
The Landlord is Jesus Christ – Meaning that He is the Owner of the Land!
Which means that He owns the Land on which the Property was built on.
Psalms 24:1 says that the Earth is the Lord and the Fullness thereof.
And of course, if our Landlord is Emmanuel, He is the Builder of the House
And I’m sure that you guys are seeing some houses and the quality of the finish of the work that is done – You will know when that house wasn’t built well.
But in this case, if He is the One building the house; then the house will be a “Solid One”.
In Psalms 127:1; the Bible says that except the Lord builds the house; those who Labour are doing it in vain.
… The house will not be Solid.
In any case, we are the Building.
1 Corinthians 3:16; the Bible says know ye not that ye are the Temple of God?
And of course, we are the Treasures connected to the Treasure in Earthen Vessels.
In 2 Corinthians 4:7 – We are the ones carrying that Treasure; which is God Almighty Himself.
And if God is the Treasure and we all know as the Bible says in 1 John 4:4; that Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LIVING WITH THE LANDLORD?
Anytime you have a Medical Emergency, there will not be a need for an Ambulance to be called in to come and pick you – Because our own Landlord, who is Emmanuel is the Greatest Physician.
Isaiah 65:24 says that it shall come to Past that before they call; I will answer.
So, before there is any Sickness that you may want to tell God about; He will answer you tonight in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
If He is inside of you and He created you and I; and of course being the Greatest Physician, He can do what you call “Internal Disgnosis”.
Psalms 94:9 says: He that created ear will He not hear? He that formed the eyes, will He not see?
If you have a Problem right now or as you read now on the Label of DMC with any Part of your body; just grab it as you jump up for 2 Seconds and say: God, if you created this Part, then give me a Spare Part before I leave tonight – Amen!
… And so shall it be unto you in Jesus Precious Mighty Name – Amen!
If you are living with the Landlord, then you will not have any Electrical issues.
As a matter of fact, you will be living with the Light itself – As He said in Genesis 1:3.
If you are living with the Landlord, then there will not be a hold of bondage of Darkness over you or any kind of issue
So, once God gets Light, we get Light.
If Emmanuel is your Landlord, you don’t have to Struggle with Home Insurance, Fire Insurance, Disease Issue, Natural Disaster, Tax Property or Property Tax; because He says in Psalms 91:1 – Those who dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High, shall abide under the Shadow of the Almighty.
Isaiah 4:6 says: And there shall be a Tabernacle of Shade in the Daytime from the Heat and a Place of Refuge and of Cover from Storm.
Please keep in Mimd that if you allow Emmanuel to be your Landlord; He will Protect you from all sorts of issues.
If you are living with the Landlord, it is the responsibility of the Landlord to Secure that which is Valuable to you.
And of course, including family and other things.
Psalms 121:4 says: Behold He that keepeth Israel shall neither Sleep nor Slumber.
Put your name there and repeat:
Behold He that keepeth “Discovery Media Crew (DMC)” shall neither Sleep nor Slumber.
Living with Emmanuel as Landlord gives you Someone to look out for you – Someone checking out on you; maybe you have come back Home on time, travelling or whatever is your usual routine.
Psalms 121:8 says: The Lord shall Preserve your going out and thy coming in.
This Landlord is “Very Unique” – If you choose to move anywhere, He will move with you to make sure that He buys the Property where you are going to stay so that you can continue to enjoy on the same Level, and the same Account you have been enjoying before.
He told Joshua in Joshua 1:9 that I will go with you anywhere you choose to go.
This is to ensure as we find in Philippians 4:19 – That I will Supply all your Needs.
In other for us as Tenant to enjoy this benefits of Emmanuel; we must Pay Rent:
Pay Rent of Servicing Him through His People.
Pay Rent for ensuring that the house (Our Body) is kept Pure and Holy. Our Compound, the Community we live in is United like the Body of Christ. And of course the world at large – Deuteronomy 8:1 and Joshua 1: 5-7.
You are asking me – How do I Pay Emmanuel/God Rent?
By Praising Him.
By Worshipping Him.
By Marketing His House, Promoting His Kingdom and Pushing His Kingdom Agenda.
By ensuring that you take everything Personal when it comes to His Kingdom.
You have to make sure that the Space occupied is Clean and Pure.
And of course, any Tenant who will abuse the House/Property they find themselves will get “Eviction Notice”.
In some cases, this Eviction Notice will come as Warning and it will eventually lead to a Full Eviction either by Pressure or by Force!
In James 1:15, the Bible says: Then when the Lust has conceived, it brings forth sin and sin when it is finished; bringeth forth Death.
I Pray for Somebody today or reading now on the Label of DMC – You will not die in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ (Amen).
In Conclusion, you must do everything Possible to get into Emmanuel’s House as a Tenant or Somebody that is Wise.
And of course, if you are already in Emmanuel’s House, you must do everything Possible to remain in His House.
And in case you are already in but you have been getting Eviction Notice because you keep doing things that is causing you to get Eviction Notices; you keep breaking the Agreement of Contract that you Signed upon entering – Tonight, I Pray that you will not be Evicted in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ (Amen).
The Truth remains and the Fact is: If there is an issue between the Landlord and the Tenant, it is the Tenant that get “Kick Out”.
Please, jump on your feet and find a Prayer Partner:
Then you will Scream as loud as you can and will say: Emmanuel, Please let me in into Your House and let me become Your Tenant tonight in the Name of Jesus Christ.
I am tired of being Homeless, being the Devil’s Tenant and I want to become Your Own Tenant.
Go ahead and talk to the Lord.
In Jesus Precious Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
This Time you will say: Emmanuel, help this Soul that I’m holding through Your Mercies Oh Lord and let them remain in Your House.
Regardless of the Challenge, whatever the issues might be; give them Grace to remain in Your House. And let them make Right Decisions to remain in Your House.
Go ahead and cry to the Lord.
Thank You Lord. In Jesus Precious Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
“Self First” is not Selfishness.
Lay your hand on your own Head and Pray for yourself.
And say: Emmanuel, because of Your Mercies, if I have been receiving Eviction Notices – Both Physical and Spiritual; tonight just have Mercy upon me and don’t let me be “Kick Out”.
Cancel those Eviction Notices, let me start on a Clean Slate with You.
Help me Oh Lord, forgive any issues that have brought those Eviction Notices.
If it has been my sin or any Agreement entered into on my behalf or what I did by my own self.
Lord Please whatever it will take, dont let me be “Kick Out” of Your House or Presence.
Thank You Almighty God.

My Father and my God, Thank You for this Evening.
Thank You for the Opportunity that You have given to us.
We know Almighty God that because You have given us this Opportunity that You will hear our Prayers in Jesus Name.
And Lord Please, wherever You find the “Loudest Amen”; let them receive what they have never experienced in the Last fifteen (15) Years within the last fifteen (15) Minutes in Jesus Name.
And where that Amen will even be louder, Father Please don’t kick them out of Your House in Jesus.
