OPENING PRAYER

King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the I am that I am; the Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning and the Ending; the Holy One of Israel. The One who is called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace – Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Thank You for today, Thank You for all who are here.

Please Daddy, even as we have come to rejoice with Your son, give everyone of us something to rejoice about.

At the end of everything Lord, let Your Name be Glorified.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

First of all, let me apologise for coming late – Those who knows me, know that is not my way of Life. The People at the Airport in Ikeja, who Controls when you can take off from the Ground didn’t allow us to leave until about 10.30am.

Secondly, I want to Salute my fathers-in-the-Lord – Thank You for allowing “Ordinary Pastor” to represent you today.

And then, I want to Salute all my Traditiinal fathers – Your Kingdom will go from Glory to Glory in Jesus Name.

Your Imperial Royal Majesty (DMC NOTES: Referring to: HIS IMPERIAH ROYAL MAJESTY ALAYELUWA OBA GHANDI AFOLABI OLUFEMI OLADUNNI OLAOYE (THE ORUMOGEGE III, SOUN OF OGBOMOSO LAND) – CONGRATULATIONS!

Acts 15:18

Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world.

Nobody is in this world by Accident!

God said in His Words in Jeremiah 1: 4-5; it says: Before I formed you in the belly; I knew you; while you are still in your Mother’s Womb, I have already settled what you are going to become.

And then in Jeremiah 29:11; the Almighty God says: I know the thoughts that I think towards you; thoughts of Good and not evil that you might have an Expected End.

There is an End that God has Planned for you to have; there is something that is called Destiny – Before you are born, that has been Settled.

Everything that we are seeing today has been Settled before the Foundation of the world.

When Kabiyesi (King) came to me and said: Daddy, they are asking me to come and ascend to the Throne of my fathers; that what do you think about that?

I said: Sir, go and Pray.

He said that do I have to Pray about something like that? I said that we will Pray.

He was expecting me to say: What are you talking about? You are a Pastor o! But I said he should go and Pray.

He went, he came back and aaid: I haven’t heard anything. And I said Pray more because God has to say either Yes or No.

I heard in the Newspapers and I have seen it on the Internet – People accusing Pastor Adeboye of not doing his duty. That I should have told my Pastor – No!

Well, I want to submit to them (That is to the Critics) – If Adeboye says No and God says Yes; who is going to have the Final say?

So, finally, my son – Now my King; came back and said God has spoken.

God told him that: “FOR THIS PURPOSE YOU ARE BORN” – I CREATED YOU TO BE A KING!

I said: See what I am talking about o?

Fortunately for me, he didn’t ask me – I thought that he will say: Daddy, you mean you knew all along?

He didn’t ask me and so I didn’t have to answer!

Brothers and Sisters, the Plan of God for your Life will come to Past – Amen!

Because it is written in Psalms 33:11 – It says the Counsel of the Lord stands forever.

And it says in Proverbs 19:21 that there may be many devices in the heart of a Man but the Counsel of the Lord shall Stand.

It doesn’t matter what any Human Being may do, what God wants to do, that is what He will do.

I mean we have many Examples:

1. We have the Example of Apostle Paul.

We know how He started his Life and we know how he ended it.

And he himself said in Galatians 1: 13-16 – He said that everybody know him: They know how he was troubling the Christians. And when the time came that the God who had already separated me to Himself from my Mother’s Womb says alright, it is time; everything Changed.

I say it one more time that whatever anybody may try, the Plan of God for your Life will come to Past – Amen!

… That is all for us Generally.

Now, I want to have a little word with his Royal Majesty!

And since it is a Rule in Yoruba Culture not to talk to a King in another Man’s Language – Arinfin ni ka ba Kabiyesi soro ni Ede Oyinbo (It is disrespectful to talk to a King in English Language)

I’m going to ask for the Permission of those of you who don’t speak Yoruba Language to give me 5 Minutes as I want to address Kabiyesi (King).

And since it concerns Kabiyesi (King) only; and so it is even none of your business in the first Place.

PROVERBIAL WORDS OF ADVISE TO IMPERIAH ROYAL MAJESTY ALAYELUWA OBA GHANDI AFOLABI OLUFEMI OLADUNNI OLAOYE (THE ORUMOGEGE III, SOUN OF OGBOMOSO LAND)

DMC NOTES: We will attempt to Interpret but kindly bear with our “Crude Interpretations”.

Kabiyesi o, ki ade pe lori o, ki bata pe lese; Esin Oba ajoko, irukere Oba adafere (O King, may you live long on the Throne – May the Crown stay long on the head and the the shoes on the leg; the King’s Horse will sit, the Staff of Office (Signifyimg the Horse Tail African Wand) which signifies Respect, Honour and Royalty will stand) will be used for Royal Affairs).

Ni awon odun bi melo kan si eyin – Oti pe die, ko ki soro oni (Some years back – It has been long and not a recent happening of today).

Isele kan sile ni ilu kan ti a pe ni Ejigbo (There was something that happened in a Town called Ejigbo – DMC Notes: Ejigbo in Osun State Nigeria).

Won kan dede ri pe, awon Oba won ko pe lori oye (They just suddenly discovered that their Kings doesn’t stay long again on the Throne).

Ti won ba ti fi won j’oba, ti o ba to ojo melo kan; Kabiyesi ati waja (As they enthroned them to the Throne, after a while, the King would have died)

Ere ni, awada ni; won ba fa omode kan sile (Whether by jokes or tricks; they wanted to nominate a Young Man to be King).

Omo yi wa wo pe bawo ni ohun se fe se bayi? (This Young Man now thought that how is he going to do it like this?)

Ti owun ba j’oba, ohun ma ku (If he decided to ascend the Throne as the King, he would die)

Ti ohun ko ba j’oba, nitori ohun nikan lo ku ni ilana eto, a jepe idile ohun ko j’oba mo ni Ejigbo niyen (If he chooses not to ascend the Throne, because he is the only one left in his family Royal Lineage, then it simply means that his family will not have rights to be King in Ejigbo again).

Oba lo si oko ni ojo yen ninu ibanuje gidi (He went to the farm on that day in great sorrow).

Nibiti oti nlo, o fe kolu baba Agbalagba kan to nbo nitoripe okan re baje (As he was going, he nearly collided with an Elderly Man because he was very sad).

Ejo o Baba, e ma binu (Please Old Man, don’t be Angry/Offended)

Baba ba wipe: Omo Alade, kilo de? (The Elderly Man now said: Royal Prince, what is the Problem?)

O ba salaye fun Baba pe bayi bayi ni – Ohun ni Oba kan, ohun ko si fe ku (He explained in details to the Elderly Man – I am the next in line to be enthroned as King and he is not Prepared to die).

Baba ba ni ko nira (The Elderly Man said that is not a Problem).

Ti o ba di ojo Iwuye re, so fun awon Onilu re pe kan ma se lu ilu bi won se lu tele (On the Day of your Coronation, tell your Drummers not to beat the drums the way they used to beat the drums before).

Ki won lu ni ona ooto – Bayi, bayi ni ki won lu ilu ti won (They should beat their drums differently – This and this is how they should beat their drums)

O ba di ojo Iwuye, lo ba j’oba (Finally he was made a King on the Coronation Day).

Bi o se bo sita lati ma jo yi ilu ka (As he comes out to dance round the Town)

Awon aje ilu yen ti won fi Oba je won ti pejo po lori igi odan ibi ti won ti se ipade; won reti ilu (The Witches and Wizards of that Town that normally enthrones a King had gathered on Igi Odan for their Meeting awaiting the sounding of the drum – “Igi Odan” is a large tree that Provides Shade, known for his doggedness, a Bristilecone Pine that has grown for thousand years)

Ni Onilu ba fi gangan si ilu (The Drummer now put the beats to the drums)

Nitori bi won se lu tele ni wipe: Elejigbo no ni Ejigbo, emi nikan ni mo L’ejigbo (Because what they used to beat before is: The King of Ejigbo is the owner of Ejigbo, “Only me” is the owner of Ejigbo)

Ni igba ti won ma lu ilu, won bere si ma lulu pe: Elejigbo no ni Ejigbo, emi ati e (gbogbo wa) la ni Ejigbo (As they will beat the drums, they started drumming that: The King of Ejigbo is the owner of Ejigbo, “You and I (All of Us)” are the owner of Ejigbo)

Awon aje ba wo are won loju – ilu eleyi yaato; tani o ko omo yi ni ogbon yi? (The Witches and Wizards look at themselves – This drum beats is different from the usual one, who taught this boy this Wisdom?)

Gbogbo igba to yi ilu ka, won o ko orin mi ju yen lo (As he danced round the Town, they did not sing any other Song aside from that)

Elejigbo no ni Ejigbo, emi ati e (gbogbo wa) la ni Ejigbo (The King of Ejigbo is the owner of Ejigbo, “You and I (All of Us)” are the owner of Ejigbo)

Abo oro ni a so fun Omoluabi (Half a word is enough for the Wise)

Let me Conclude my Sermon:

God created you for a Purpose and His Purpose will always come to Past.

It doesn’t matter what your Enemies may try, however the English Man will say: The one who made the Pencil also made the eraser.

Only two (2) People can Change your Destiny – You and God Himself!

In 1 Samuel 2:30; God said to Eli – He said that I said indeed (I didn’t sent Somebody, I said it myself) that you and your father’s house will Stand before me forever. He said but now, I Change my Mind and I do not say so anymore,

Instead of your children being Priests, they will be Beggars.

He said because those who Honour me I will Honour, and those who will not Honour me, I will lightly esteemed.

God has a Great Plan for your Life but you can Change it – If you do contrary to His wish, He will Change His Mind!

And if He says that I am Changing my Mind, you can go ahead and sue Him and then we will find out who will be your Judge and who will be your Lawyer!

I will tell you a little Story about myself and then we will Close with Prayers!

1951, I was a little boy in Primary School. The Anglican Bishop came to my “Little Village” in Ifewara (A Village in Osun State of Nigeria) because there was a little Anglican Church there in Ifewara.

In those days, only two Lorries come to my Village in a Day, and with a loud noise. And only five People in the Village then have shoes and the shoes are not what you will really call shoes.

And the Bishop came from Ibadan – He came in a car.

For the first time in my Life, I saw a Vehicle that can move with very little Noise.

We lined up on the road for him, the Hunters were shutting their guns, the Drummers were beating their drums.

And when he was about to come out of the car, I looked at his shoes – Wao, Black and Shinning.

When I got home, I told my mum that when I grow up, I will be a Bishop.

Years Past, as soon as I left home; I also left the Church – I began to live all kinds of Naughty Life. I became as far from God as anybody can be.

But then one day, I heard a Preacher who said: If you want God’s Purpose for your Life to be fulfilled, surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.

One way or the other, I agreed – I gave my Life to Jesus Christ.

Little by little, I became a Pastor; little by little, I became the General Overseer.

And I decided to visit our “Little Churches” in Nigeria.

And a Day came when I was to visit my hometown in Ifewara – And my People decided to give me a Hero’s Welcome.

School children lined the road, Drummers were beating their drums while Hunters were firing “Dane Guns”.

And when I was about to come out of my car – Incidentally, it was a New car. I looked at my legs – I was wearing Black shoes and it was Shinning.

And I remembered what I said 30 years before – And I thank God!

The Change in my Life came when I gave my Life to Jesus Christ!

My Destiny that would have been truncated was restored!

I’m not a Bishop now but I’m not too far behind.

ALTAR CALL

That is why I want to appeal to you – Those of you who are listening to me today or reading now on the Label of DMC: God has a Great Plan for your Life!

If you want that Destiny of yours to be Fulfilled, surrender your Life to Jesus Christ today – That’s why God brought you here today!

Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ today – It doesn’t matter how terrible your Life is up to now, if you give your Life to Him; everything will become New.

So, Please I’m going to count from one (1) up to ten (10) – Before I say ten (10), if you want to Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ so that your Destiny can be fulfilled and so that the Good Plan of God for your Life may come to Past; Please come and stand before the Altar here. And I will Pray for your Salvation.

I’m counting now!

Those of you who has come forward and those who are on the way, Please cry to Jesus Christ and ask Him to have Mercy on you, ask Him to save your Souls, ask Him that He will fulfill His Purpose for your Life.

Go ahead and talk to the Lord!

And the rest of us who are sure of our Salvation, Please Stretch your hands towards those People and intercede for them.

Pray that God will save their Souls, that the One who save your own Soul will save their own Souls also.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name,

I want to Thank You for Your Words, I want to Thank You for these People who has come forward.

Father, Please receive them, save their Souls, forgive all their sins, and write their names in the Book of Life.

And whatever may be Your Plans for their lives, bring it to Past Oh Lord.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Those of you who has come forward, I want to rejoice with you.

I Promise you by the Grace of God that from now on, I will be Praying for you.

So, there are some Brethrens to your right – Please follow them as they want to know your name, your Prayer Requests and they will bring you back very quickly.

So, as the father of the King, I want to ask the King (Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye) to kindly step forward with his wife – Its just a Word of Blessings!

If I ask His Majesty to kneel down, I am asking him to kneel down before the King of Kings!

1 Samuel 10:1 – Then Samuel took a vial of Oil, and Poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be Captain over His Inheritance?

May the Almighty God bless you and may He anoint you for Success.

During your Tenure, may the Glory of Ogbomoso Land be restored and revived.

During your Tenure, anything called Premature Death, let it be far from Ogbomoso Land.

May the Almighty God move you from Glory to Glory; may He built a Wall of Fire round about you and your family.

Whenever you cry unto Him remembering today, may He answer you by Fire.

And may you serve the Lord till the End.
