Well, it’s 20 years ago that I was here last and I’m here now – I think you should Worship the Almighty God.
Let’s give Him Glory, give Him Honour and give Him Adoration. Bless the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Magnify His Holy Name. He is Worthy of our Praise as there is no one like Him.

OPENING PRAYER
King of Kings and Lord of Lords; the Ancient of Days, the All Sufficient God – We Worship You.
You are the same Yesterday, Today and Forever – You never travel as You are always at home.
Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.
Today in Particular, do something Special in our lives – Save Souls Oh Lord, heal the Sick, set Captives Free. Just do something Special in our lives.
At the end of everything Lord, let Your Name be Glorified.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Shake hands with one (1) or two (2) People and say: God will bless you today!
And then you may Please be seated.
I’m extremely delighted to be back here!
And I Specially want to greet all my children from all over – Particularly those from the Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA) who are here with us this Morning to Worship with us and then all those other Ministers from other Churches who might be Present – God Bless You all Mightily (Amen).
I will be talking to you briefly from John 5: 2-9:
John 5: 2-9
- Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a Pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five Porches.
- In these lay a Great Multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
- For an Angel went down at a certain Season into the Pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made Whole of whatsoever disease he had.
- And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
- When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
- The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
- Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
- And immediately the man was made Whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Sabbath.
God is about to do something New in the Life of Somebody today – Amen!

And I described to you what a Divine Encounter really means – I told you an Encounter is really a Collision.
I gave you the illustration of a car going at Top speed in one direction and a Trailer coming at Top speed from another direction. And then the two of them had a “Head-On” Collision.
I told you that this really is an Example of what is called a Divine Encounter.
And then, I told you that when the Supernatural collides with the Natural, the Natural must give way.
If a Trailer collides with a car, there will be very little left of the car at the end of the Collision.
And then, we spent three (3) days discussing that kind of Collisions.
But we couldn’t finish everything and so we just decided that we will leave the rest till another Time.
But today, God has directed that I should just continue where I ended because God is about to collide with Somebody’s Problems today or as you read now on the Label of DMC!
And so we had a Story of this Man who had been Sick for thirty eight (38) years. Then one day, he had an Encounter with God.
For thirty eight (38) years, he had been Incurable – That was why he was at that Pool.
The Pool was a Gathering Place of all those who cannot be cured. And so, once a year, God will send an Angel to the Pool.
The Angel will come, trouble the water and the first Person to jumped in after the Angel had gotten out will be Healed,
And this Man had tried for thirty eight (38) years and had failed thirty eight (38) times.
By now, all his friends – Those who Probably brought him there and were hoping that he will be healed in the first or second year; by now everybody had gone back to their businesses.
And so the Man said: I have no one to help me.
This Man had so many Problems!
It’s most likely that you have one (1) or two (2) Problems but a Single Encounter cleared them all.
I. He was Sick – Not just Sick but Incurable. Doctors had told him that there is no Hope.
II. He was Lonely – He said it himself: I have no Man.
III. He was a Failure – He has tried for thirty eight (38) years and failed thirty eight (38) times.
IV. He wasn’t just a Failure, but he was defeated. Because he said that as I will be going to the Pool, Somebody had gone before me.
It means that there are some People competing with him who are working against his Success.
It’s not that People hated him but simply that there is a Competition and the Best will win.
V. After trying for thirty eight (38) years, by now he has lost Hope.
But then Hope came when he was not expecting it.
VI. I don’t need to tell you that the Man who had been sick for thirty eight (38) years; the Man who said that I had no Man was Barren.
As a matter of fact, he had no wife and if you are not married, it is likely that you have no children.
VII. I don’t need to tell you that for thirty eight (38) years, he had not been Promoted because he was just by the Poolside and not working anyway.
VIII. I don’t need to tell you that he was Poor as he was not doing any job there.
He was just waiting there and only God knows how he survived.
It was a Single Encounter however that Solved all the Problems!
And I’m here this Morning to tell you that it doesn’t matter which of all these Problems is yours; the Almighty God will collide with them all – Amen!
CASE 1: You see, Failure must Surrender when there is a Collision with the Source of Success!
He said that he has failed thirty eight (38) times but the One who collided with him is the One who the Bible had written in Philippians 4:13 – I can do All Things through Christ that Strengthens me.
If Christ can just collide with my Failure, then I won’t fail again.
Which is why I can boldly tell all of you who are Students – You won’t fail another Examination again (Amen).
And those of you who had failed in your Career or Business – Who had tried this and that:
- Some of us knows what is it to fail
- Some of us knows what is it to start a house and never finish it.
- Some of us knows what is it to open a Store, fill it with Goods and watch as little by little the Store become empty without getting any Money to fill it.
- Some of us knows what is it to be Employed and then as the years Passed by, the People who met you there becomes your Senior.
But in the Name of the One who is called Jesus – Failure comes to an end in your Life today (Amen)!
CASE 2: When defeat collides with the One called “The Lord of Hosts” or the One who never loses a War; defeat must Surrender!
Because just as I told my children at the Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA) earlier this Morning – Our God is not a Civilian but a Man of War.
Our God is the Commander-In-Chief of all the Forces.
And so, if you have been defeated by Forces of Darkness in your father’s house, mother’s house or even in your Place of work, just one Collision with the Commander-In-Chief of all Forces and the defeat will go.

So I’m decreeing to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC; from this moment onwards, you will never be defeated again – Amen!
Some of you will remember the Story of a woman who came and said: Daddy, Please my husband has left me with our children and has gone to be with a woman who has five (5) children.
She said that I fought and did everything a woman could do to retain her husband but this woman defeated me.
And so I said: Well, then let us invite the Lord of Hosts and let Him fight for you.
I said that we will Pray and your Husband will come and beg you – Ha, I’m not asking him to come and beg; I will beg him.
I said, let’s talk to the One who can cause a quarrel between your Husband and the Strange Woman – The kind of quarrel Nobody will be able to solve and your Husband will come and beg you.
She said okay daddy; but I’m ready to beg him.
So we Prayed a Simple Prayer and the quarrel started between the Husband and the Strange Woman.
CASE 3: When Loneliness collides with the One that said I will never forsake you, then Loneliness must give way.
Many of us knows what is it to be lonely:
There are many of us who by now should be happily married and yet we are not – And there is Nothing that we can really do about it Particularly if you are a Woman.
A Woman can’t go to a Man and say: Whether you like it or not; you must marry me – We don’t do that in Africa. You have to wait for the Man to ask.
I mean there are some of us occasionally when you find a Sister who says: Pray for me, I want to be married.
And you ask a Question – Is it that the People coming you don’t like them?
And some of them will say: Nobody had ever said: How now!
In a situation like that, you need a Divine Encounter – You need the Almighty God to collide with your Loneliness!
Because from time to time, where you are living in your father or mother’s house; Mama (Meaning Mother) will say it in a cunny way – When are you going?
And you all know the meaning of the “Going” – It means when are you moving to your own home.
Well, in the Name of the One who sent me; those of you who are of “Marriageable Age”; this Year your Wedding Bell will ring – Amen!
I mean you remembered the Story of one of my daughters who we had a Program at the Tafawa Balewa Square.
And we finished and I said that everybody should ask God for anything that they wanted.
And she said to God: Well, I have decided to follow you till the End – I have cried to You for a Husband and all these years, You didn’t answer me. Now, I’m even Pass “Child Bearing Age” and so I won’t bother You again. So just do whatever that You want and I will still serve You anyway.
And a couple of days later, a Man came and said: Sister, how now? You are the one God said.
She looked at him and said that you better go and Pray very well because I have Passed Child Bearing Stage – Don’t you want children?
And the Man said: Glory be to God; you must be the one,
How can I be the one?
The Man said: I am a Widower – My wife died, I have children and I am just looking for a Woman who will be mother to my children.
So they got married and in the very Month that they married, she became Pregnant and when she delivered, she gave birth to a Set of Twins.
All of you who are lonely, today you will have a Divine Encounter – Amen!
DMC NOTES: Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) is named after Nigeria’s first Prime Minister – Sir Tafawa Balewa. Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) is situated in Lagos City Center. It is surrounded by Impressive buildings and Memorial sites, and is in constant use for a variety of Celebrations and Official Functions. Regardless of when you visit, you are sure to find some sort of activity going on, which makes Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) a Great Place to experience Nigerian Culture. TBS is an Historic Landmark that is located in the Center of Lagos Island, and it was where Nigeria Celebrated her Independence on October 1st, 1960. Prime Minister Balewa announced the Country’s Independence there in his Speech held at this Square on this Day.
CASE 4: When Stagnation collides with the Great Promoter, then Stagnation must Surrender.
Because like I said – Some of us knows what is it to be Stagnant or be at one spot year after year – Not because you are not working hard but just because for one reason or the other; Promotion just refuses to come!
There are some of us: In the Places of our work, at the end of the Year when they are writing Reports; they will write “Glorious Reports” about us – Hardworking, Trustworthy et cetera et cetera.
Okay what about Promotion? They will just keep quiet about it,
But today, because God brought me here after twenty (20) years; the Promotion of Somebody will come – Amen!
The Bible tells us in Psalms 75: 6-7 – It tells us that Promotion does not come from the East or West – Not from Man but it comes from God.
And so because God is the Promoter, according to 1 Samuel 2:8; He can Pick up a Beggar from a dunghill and begin to Promote him until he begins to eat with Kings.
Many atimes, many of us read that Passage but we don’t believed it – How can God just Pick up Somebody who is Nothing and keep on Promoting him until he begin to dine with Kings?
But I am a Living Example – And I have told you a little bit of my Story before.
My father was “So Poor” that Poor People call him Poor.
You know in our Village, when I was growing up, I think there are about five (5) People you could call rich by the definition of the fact that their roofs have Iron Sheets and they had shoes – That’s what we mean by being rich o.
The rest of us, our houses were Thatched Roofs.
Among all these “Poor People” – As we say in Mathematics; his (My father) Poverty was “Poverty Squared”.
I told you that for the first eighteen (18) years of my Life, I had no Pair of Shoes – Where will you get the Money for shoes?
And yet on one occasion, I was visiting an African Nation and I had an Appointment to see the President and they told me you will see him maximum 15 Minutes. I said that’s enough as I just want to Pray with him.
And then we got in and we began to talk – And suddenly, the President ask Somebody to bring tea and we drank. And you know that the President don’t drink tea alone; they had some things by the side,
And it was Monday Morning – Cabinet Meeting was supposed to start by 10am. But I was still with the President till after 12 Noon because the President didn’t want me to go.
And when I was coming out, Somebody said: Wait, who is this Fellow? They said he is one Pastor from Nigeria.
He said: Pastor? He is not even a Bishop!
I decree to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – Before you die, you will be dinning with Kings (Amen).
CASE 5: This Man was Hopeless but when Hopelessness collide with the One who is called the King of Glory, things Changed!
You see in Colossians 1:7; the Bible tells us that Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.
If only Christ can be in you, your Future will be Bright and your Hope will be the Hope of Glory!
This Man had lost Hope – He wasn’t even expecting that he will ever be Healed but the Hope of Glory collided with his Hopelessness and all of a sudden, within a Day; things Changed!
You know that each time I speak about Jesus Christ being the Way, I have always referred to the fact that Jesus Christ is the Way where they said there is no Way.
When the world had told you that there is no Hope for you, just turn to Jesus Christ and He will show you that He is the Way!
Probably you heard the Story of one of my children who was Sick Abroad and I was visiting that Country. Usually, he should be among those that will receive me at the Airport.
So, when I got to the Airport and I didn’t see him, I said what about my son? Incidentally, he was a Retired General in the Nigerian Army,
They said that your son is in the Hospital and his case is very serious.
I said: What is the Problem?
Well, there is something in the Blood of a Man called “PSA”.
By the time they test you and found out that this PSA has risen; they began to suspect that you have Cancer.
By the time your PSA is about 100 or so, they will be talking of Terminal Cancer.
But when they counted it in the body of my son, his own was 4,000.
So, in the Hospital where he was – One of the Best in the Country; they have Special Room where they put People they know cannot survive.
In other words, when they send you to that Room, they expect that they will carry you out “Legs First” – It is Hopeless, Hopeless, Hopeless cases that they refer there.
So, I went there and seek for Permission to Pray for my son – And they said that there is Nothing anybody can do to make his case worst; so go ahead if you want to Pray.
And in the European Countries, not like here in Nigeria; you can’t see Someone that is sick and you just go and Pray for him – He will sue you because the Fellow will say that yiu are harassing him. They may even accuse you of Practising Medicine without a License.
So, I went into the Room with many Hopeless other cases there and I Prayed for my son only.
I Prayed for him on Saturday; by Wednesday they released him Completely Whole.
But he wasn’t the only one released; everybody in the Room was released.
So, I have come to tell you that the Hope of Glory is visiting you today – Amen
And every Hopeless case is going to be dealt with – Amen!
DMC NOTES: Prostate-Specific Antigen, or PSA, is a Protein Produced by Normal, as well as Malignant, Cells of the Prostate Gland. The PSA Test measures the Level of PSA in the Blood. For this Test, a Blood sample is sent to a Laboratory for Analysis. In general, however, the likelihood of Prostate Cancer increases along with Blood PSA levels.
The only one who can walk out of this Room today without a Miracle is the one who is not a Child of God!
That’s why I’m saying: If you have not really Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ, you better do so now – God is here you know!
At least you should know me by now – I don’t shake and jack to show you that Power is available but it is here.
ALTAR CALL
So, if you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ and you want to do so; come to Him now – He will save your Soul.
I’m going to count from one (1) to four (4) – If by the time I say four (4) and you are not here; I will know that you are either already Born Again or you don’t want to be.
I’m counting now!
Those of you already infront or on the way; cry to Jesus Christ to Please have Mercy on you and save your Soul. Tell Him that you will serve Him for the rest of your Life.
And the rest of us, let us Stretch our hands towards these People and Intercede for them:
Pray that the One who saved your Soul will save their own Souls also.
Ask that God will be Merciful unto them and wash them Clean with His Blood.
Thank You Father.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION
Saviour, I want to bless Your Holy Name.
I want to Thank You for these People who has come forward to Surrender their lives to You.
Father, Please receive them in Jesus Name, have Mercy on them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins.
Please write their names in the Book of Life and for the rest of their lives, let them serve You.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
The rest of us – If you believed that today is your Day and God is going to answer your Prayers; let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
FINAL CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I want to Thank You.
I want to give You all Glory and Honour for Your Children who are in Church today and those reading now on the Label of DMC.
I Thank You that at long last, their Day has come.
Father, accept my Thanks in Jesus Name.
I’m committing these Your Children into Your Hands Lord – I’m Praying that whatever they asked You today, you will give them today.
I’m Praying that before the Sun sets, everyone of them will have a Testimony.
And I’m Praying that from now on, anytime I hear concerning any of them, it will be Good News.
I Pray that in Your Kingdom, None of us will be missing.
Thank You Almighty God.
