TOPIC: THE EXPERIENCE OF OUR LORD ON THE WIND BLOWING

BIBLE TEXT: MATTHEW 3: 16-17 KJV
In Genesis 1:1-3 KJV; the Bible recorded for us as follows:
- In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth.
- And the Earth was without form, and void; and Darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
- And God said, Let there be Light: and there was Light.
What would it have been if the Spirit of God did not move, and there was no Light?
All of us would have been in Darkness or Possibly dead.
We need to thank God for everything that has given us Light in our indivial lives, Family and Ministry
Thank you Jesus!
The Experience of our Lord on the Wind blowing:
Matthew 3:16-17 KJV:
- And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the Heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a Dove, and Lighting upon him:
- And lo a voice from Heaven, saying, This is my Beloved Son, in whom I am well Pleased.
God has always been speaking after the Wind blew, and the Spirit moved as recorded for us in Genesis 1: 1-3.
We must therefore be attentive to God, and open our Hearts to know and see the Wind blowing, so that the Wind can blow on us, the Spirit will move and we can hear God clearly.
Let he Wind blow is an Advice and a Command – Depending on how we receive it.
Therefore, we must be Prepared to receive it.
We must release our Mind to receive from His Word that will Change our lives forever
- God spoke Darkness to Light.
And ever since we came yesterday, our lives have Changed and we will feel the impact.
When the Wind blows, our Identity will Change.
This is our name – Either the one given to us at birth or because of what we do for example in Character: Negative or Positive.
For Example; the bible introduces some women to us in
Luke 8:2 KJV –
And certain women, which had been healed of evil Spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils.
Then in Luke 8:3 KJV –
And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which Ministered unto him of their Substance.
Compare what they were bearing before – For example from a witch with seven (7) Demons to becoming a Minister, when the Holy Spirif moved on her..
Our identity must Change for Good!
There are Witches even in the Church, that must have a Change of Identity.
Mary Magdalene escaped being stoned to death because God had need of her.
Brother Peter also had the Identity as Peter.
In John 1:42 KJV – And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A Stone.
Matthew 16:18 KJV says – And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this Rock I will build my Church; and the Gates of Hell shall not Prevail against it.
If we check his accounts from Acts 3, Acts 4 and Acts 5 –
Many Marvellous Testimonies of Peter.
God is no respecter of Persons
He has used me (Mummy GO) severally, and He will use us too – Amen!
Please God; use us for Miracles, Signs and Wonders in Jesus Name – Amen!
Normally when going to Church, I don’t just talk but only speaks in Tongues.
And God used ne to raise a woman that died after Labouring for three (3) days back to Life, as well as the dead Child.
He wants to do same with us
- Temptations and trials will flee
God tempted Abraham but he overcame
Genesis 22:1 KJV –
And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
God wants to see that we are Strong in Faith.
As he was about to do what God told him to do, the Wind blew and God spoke
Our Temptations and Trials are for our Promotion.
God that sent Abraham from his father’s house, and he did.
He also agreed to go and sacrifice his son – Genesis 22:1
No one is above Temptations and Trials – Even Jesus was tempted of the devil.
We mustn’t Give Up – The Presence of the Holy Spirit will take us out, towards our Promotion.
Then later, the voice that said, take your son, told him not to kill the child again.
In our Temptation, God is saying, I will give you Solution!
- Assurance of Hope
Jacob,s Predicament with Laban made him to flee with his wives
Read Genesis 31:1-end
When the wind blows, the Presence of God will be evident.
God says I will be with you.
If Jacob did not run from Laban, he would have been a Servant forever.
The Wind will blow, the Holy Spirit will move and God will set us Free.
I will be free
- There will be Deliverance
Exodus 3:7 KJV – And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my People which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their Taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
The only “I Am that I Am” sent Moses – The Holy Spirit moved and there was Deliverance from over four hundred (400) Years of Bondage..
God is talking about our Deliverance, we must embrace it.
Psalm 107:20 KJV says: He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their Destructions.
- Whatever Gift God has given us is for something Great, not for Decoration.
For Example, the Rod in Moses hand
Exodus 4:2 KJV – And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, a rod.
We don’t know the Power that we are carrying – We need Revival so that we can take our Place in the world, by making Proof of our Ordination.
Say: Father, help me to use my Ordination in a beautiful way.
We should take our Holiday to a Village in Africa to test run the Power of God g We shouldn’t let the rod in our hands to be for Decoration (Amen).
Moses did not know the Power he had until he had a Challenge
Many of us are Prophets that never Prophesied.
We have Talents but sitting on the fence
- Hope will come alive
In the Book of Ezekiel Chapter 37, dry bones came alive, and God’s Name was Glorified.
Ezekiel 39:7 KJV –
So will I make my Holy Name known in the midst of my People Israel; and I will not let them Pollute my Holy Name any more: and the Heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
Over the years, People have been asking where is our God as His Ministers – He will showcase us, He breathes on our dry bones, raise His Army through us and His Name will be Glorified (Amen).
We must not overlook the Gift of God on our Parishioners – God can use them Mightily.
We must let the People around us catch the Fire and be used Mightily by God.
- When the Wind blows there will be Breakthroughs.
Luke 7:27 KJV –
This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my Messenger before thy face, which shall Prepare thy way before thee.
