TOPIC: CHOSEN FOR A PURPOSE

BIBLE TEXT: JOHN 15:12-20
Our Heavenly Father we Thank You.
We Worship You, and we Reverence You.
We are short of words to describe how Grateful we are.
But we say Thank You for the Gift of Life, Thank You for the Gift of Salvation and Thank You for sending Jesus.
Thank You for the Great Deliverance.
Thank You for the Great Transformation.
Thank You for the Great Revival.
Thank You for Sustaining us; and Thank You for Sustaining the Revival.
The enemy thought he would bring it to an end and shut it down in the world but You have enlarged the Kingdom.
Thank You and Thank You!
Thank You for Your Mercy, Thank You for Your Loving Kindness, Thank You for Your Faithfulness, Thank You for feeding us, Thank You for Clothing us, Thank You for Securing us, Thank You for keeping us Safe and Thank You for Blessing us.
Thank You for Providing for us, Thank You for keeping us, Thank You for Good Health, Thank You for the Rain, Thank You for the Sunshine.
Thank You for the Daily Blessing and Thank You for the Daily Benefits.
We cannot Thank You enough but with all our Hearts, we say Thank You.
With our Spirit, Soul and Body we say Thank You.
Praise the Lord!
Thank You for your Mercy
Praise the Lord!
Thank You for Your Unfailing Kindness.
We say Thank You.
Praise the Lord!
Please, accept our Thanksgiving; accept our Praises and may You forever the Glorified.
Holy Spirit, this is Your Hour – Speak to us; and speak to Your Children.
Seal that which You have done today.
Confirm that You have called them, and Chosen them.
Let everyone leave this Place with an Assurance that indeed, You have Chosen them.
Thank You Heavenly Father.
In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name we Pray – Amen.

I really want to Thank God for Preserving our father-in-the-Lord and our mother-in-the-Lord.
And I want to say that as your days Increase, so you would Increase – Amen.
So would the Grace Multiply, in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
I also want to thank you for always giving us the Privilege to share the Word – I do not take it for granted.
Because many of us, we were in total obscurity; but God used you to bring us to Limelight.
May the Lord bless you, and give you Joy Overflowing, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

CHOSEN FOR A PURPOSE
I’ve been asked to bring the Word to you; and to let you know that this Ordination is not just a Ceremony, it is not just an Exercise: but to tell you that God has Chosen you for a Purpose.
And in the Name of Jesus, you will fulfill that Purpose – Amen.
I want you to put your name there: “God has chosen “The DMC Family Members” for a Purpose; and we will fulfill that Purpose in the Name of Jesus.”
By the Grace of God, “The DMC Family Members” will not fail in fulfilling the Purpose for which God has Chosen us – Amen.
Can I hear a “Thunderous Amen” to that Declaration – Amen!
And in the Name of Jesus, you will not fail God – Amen.
The Lord Jesus concerning the twelve (12) Disciples said, “Have I not Chosen twelve, Is not one of you a devil?”
You will not be a devil among the Twelve (12) – Amen.
- Judas failed God:
You will not fail God – Amen.
- Judas was available for the devil’s use:
You will not be available for the devil’s use – Amen.
If you believe that, say three (3) “Powerful Amen” – Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!
Boldly declare with me: “By the Grace of God, I will fulfill the Purpose for which God choose me. And I will not be available to the devil at any time in my Life”.
Thank You Father.
St John’s Gospel 15:12-20 – I’ll stop at Verse 16;
12 This is my Commandment, That ye Love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater Love hath no Man than this, that a Man lay down his Life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I Command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not Servants; for the Servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father, I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not Chosen me, but I have Chosen you, and Ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my Name, he may give it you.
That is a great Promotion – God has Promoted you today.
The Lord is saying: He has Chosen you to bear fruit.
So it is not accidental that you are being Ordained today – Heaven made a Choice and brought you out and Ordained you for this Sole Purpose – That you should go for and bear fruit.
- In the Process there will be Persecution:
- Not to worry, He will Preserve you.
- In the Process there will be Challenges and Battles:
- Not to worry, He will give you Victory; and He will Stand with you all the way.
- In the Process there will be Needs:
- He will Supply all the Needs.
There was a Man who was fighting the Church – His name was Saul of Tarsus.
- He went to the Point of arresting Believers and taking them to jail.
- He Supervised the death of one of the Disciples (Stephen).
- He was very much against the Church.
And I know there are one (1) or two (2) of you that once Persecuted the Church but today you are being Ordained
This man (Saul) was on his way to Damascus to go and arrest more Disciples and kill them.
The Lord Jesus Christ appeared to him and said unto him, “Saul, Saul, why Persecutest thou me?”
And he said, “Who art thou, Lord?”
And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou Persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. (Acts 9:4-5)
Jesus said to him, I know you are doing it in Ignorance; Rise Up! I am going to use you.
I have Chosen you to use you, and you will know what it means to suffer Persecution for my Name’s sake.
When he stood up he was blind – They led him by the hand to where he was going to.
And then for three (3) days, he was Fasting and Praying without food.
And the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to him and said, I am sending you to one Ananias: he will come and lay his hands on you, and you will receive your sight.
He will also take you to do the other Disciples and introduce you.
You will be with him, and he will teach you the basis that you need to know.
Then the Lord went to Anannais in Acts 9:10-18 and He said, Ananias!
I want you to know that Jesus knows you by name – Each one of us..
There is none of us that Jesus does not know our names.
And there was a certain Disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a Vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the Street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he Prayeth,
And hath seen in a Vision a Man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this Man, how much evil he hath done to thy Saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath Authority from the Chief Priests to bind all that call on thy Name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a Chosen Vessel unto me..
You are a Chosen Vessel unto God – Amen.
To bear my name before the Gentiles, and Kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how Great things he must suffer for my Name’s sake.
Ananias obeyed, went to look for Saul and found him;
And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
God has Chosen you for a Purpose: to use you – Amen.
This is what Jesus Christ said to the Disciples.
He is now saying to Ananias, “I have Chosen Saul the way I choose you; to bear fruit.”
KINDS OF FRUIT
There are two (2) kinds of Fruit;
- The Fruit of Soul Winning:
This is the first kind of fruit – The Harvest you bring in through Soul Winning.
- The Fruit of Character or the Fruit of the Spirit:
This is the second kind of fruit now.
Now if you win Souls, and you bear the Fruit of the Spirit you can Congratulate yourself.
Because Jesus said, I will say to you on the Last Day, “depart from me ye workers of iniquity.”
But here He says, “I have Chosen you to bear fruit, and that your fruit will abide.
Your first fruit are the Souls you win.
So, in your Life set aside time for Soul Winning, than for any other thing and also, make it the Priority.
In whatever you are doing in the Vineyard make sure it is tending towards Soul Winning.
As you are winning Souls, you must also bear the Secondary fruit that will sustain the Fruit of the Spirit – Self Control, Love, Patience, Endurance , Faith, Gentleness, etc.
All these fruits are essential.
In my few years of my Ministry, I have encountered Men of God who are Mightily Anointed; with Great Utterance and Great Inspiration – Very Eloquent, very, very Knowledgeable.
But they are very deficient in the Fruit of the Spirit.
What I found is that every time they try to make Progress, the deficiency of the Fruit of the Spirit bring them back.
Every time they make Advancement, the deficiency of the Fruit of the Spirit crashed them.
In the Name of Jesus, that will not be your Portion – Amen
They rise up and they fall.
And if they do not correct it, the enemy uses it to snuff them out.
- See what Love of Money did to Balaam; a Great Prophet with Great Gifts.
- See what Love of Money did to Gehazi; a Man in line to receive Double Portion of Elisha’s Anointing. He did not have the love of God, he loved Money more than God.
The same thing with Balaam – This Great Prophet who had unusual Visions and Revelations, Perished, because he was lacking in the Fruit of the Spirit.
- You may have Great Anointing;
- You may have Great Gifts;
- You may Fast forty (40) Days, and come out of the Fasting; like Samson and go after Delilah.
The deficiency of the Fruit of the Spirit will cut short any Man’s Ministry.
So as you are bearing the Fruit of Soul Winning, He says, “I have Ordained you to bear fruit” – Bear also the Fruit of the Spirit.
Many years ago, as a growing Child of God – Somewhere around 1975.
I told the Lord: “As You are growing me in Your Power Lord, Grace and Gifts, Please make sure that I grow in the Fruit of the Spirit – Let me never ever fail to grow.”
And that Prayer, I believe God has used it to help me.
You will Pray that Prayer today; and every Work of the Flesh that Satan can use to bring you down will be destroyed, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
Are you ready to bear the Fruit of Soul Winning?
Do you want to bear Fruits of the Spirit ?
Now, since He Ordained you to bear Fruit, He is saying, “I have also Equipped you” (Amen).
To Ordain includes to a Equip -:He Equips you with the tools:
- With the Power
- With the Gifts
- With the Anointing
- With the Revelations
- With Supernatural Gifts, to bear fruit.
As you go out Winning Souls, you will come to a Point that you’ll need to cast out devils.
As you go out Winning Souls, you will come to a Point that you will need to Heal the sick.
As you go out Winning Souls, you will come to a Point that you will need Discerning of Spirits.
Because you’ll need Discerning of Spirits to discover whether the girl Prophesying is doing so by the Holy Spirit or by the Spirit of Divination; like the girl that Paul and Silas met in Philippines.
And it came to pass, as we went to Prayer, a certain damsel Possessed with a Spirit of Divination met us, which brought her Masters much gain by Soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These Men are the Servants of the Most High God, which shew unto us the way of Salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the Spirit, I Command thee in the Name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour (DMC NOTES: Acts 26:16-18).
Her Statement was correct, but she was of the devil.
It took Discerning of Spirits, after many days for Apostle Paul to know.
Today, there are so many Diviners that have been situated in the Church – And we have allowed them to come.
They are speaking by the devil and turning People away from God.
In the Name of Jesus, you will not be lacking in the Gifts of this Spirit – Amen.
Every Gift you need to win Souls and to establish them; you will not be Lacking – Amen.
As you go out Winning Souls, you will need Word of Knowledge – Special Informations.
You will need Word of Wisdom – Special Information; to solve Problems as you go out.
You will need Prophecy as you go out.
Today I boldly declare to you that it is the Will of God for you to be fully Equipped, so that you can win Souls – Amen.
He said, “In this I rejoice that you bear fruit.” As you beer fruit God will keep on Celebrating you.
- So in bearing fruit you’ll need Power;
- You’ll need the Gifts of the Spirit.
And this Morning I’ll be Praying for you, that the Fire will Fall on you this Morning.
As the Fire Fall on you this Morning, the Gifts of the Spirit will begin to Manifest in your Life – Amen.
Let me hear you shout a loud Amen – Amen!
If you know you are going home today with Supernatural Gifts, let me hear you say Amen – Amen!
In 1977, I discovered that I was casting out devils; but I was very deficient in the Gifts of the Spirit.
So I said, “Lord, I’ve discovered I am casting out devils, but I am very deficient in the Gifts of the Spirit: Lord, add to me Discerning of Spirits.”
So God heard me.
He says in His Word, covet earnestly the best Gifts – Spiritual Gifts. So ask for them. That is if you are working; if you are doing the job of Soul Winning.
Many times when I am Preaching to somebody and he or she is not yielding, I say, “God, why is he or she not yielding?”
And God would whisper something yo my Mind: “Don’t mind him, this is what he is doing.”
There was this Young Man I was Preaching to who was just tolerating me – It’s like, “just finish your Evangelism and let me go.”
He was well dressed and very neat.
It was on a Sunday Morning – I like going to Evangelize on Sunday Morning, to know why People are not going to Church.
When I asked the Lord, “why is he not listening to me?”
The Holy Spirit whispered to me, “his name is Matthew, he has an Appointment with his girlfriend. So he is in a hurry to catch up with her.”
The girlfriend also didn’t go to Church – They had an Appointment to meet.
So I said, Matthew! Matthew!! Matthew!!!
You are not listening to me because you have an Appointment to meet somebody.
Immediately, he became sober.
Then I completed my Preaching – I led him to Christ and I told him to follow Jesus.
God didn’t tell me his name because He wanted a “Show Business” – God saw my Heart, that I was worried the Young man was not listening.
Today, God will Anoint you; and New Gifts will be added to you, because you have been Chosen to bear fruit.
Do you want to bear Fruit?
Are you ready to bear Fruits?
Are you willing to bear Fruits of Soul Winning, and then Fruits of the Spirit?
Stand to your feet!
Those of you who want to be imparted, have you identified a Gift in your Life that can add value to your Ministry?
Ask for it.
Have you identified a Deficiency in your Life, like anger?
Say O Lord, I get angry easily, save me from anger.
Ask for the Fruit of the Spirit; ask for Self Control.
Do you say, “O Lord, if I can just have the Gift of Working of Miracles, this Unbelievers will easily believe me?”
Ask for it.
What have you identified that you want? Ask for it.
The Bible says, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (DMC NOTES: Matthew 7:7-8)
When we get to Heaven, there will be no need for Word of Knowledge; no need for Working of Miracles, no need for Healing because it would not be needed.
It is here we need it; so ask for it right now.
And by the Grace of God as you ask, the Lord will give you – Amen.
The Lord will release it on to your Life – Amen.
Now ask in Faith.
Thank you Father!
Bring your Prayers to a Close.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Pray – Amen.
Please, let me appeal to you – The Holy Spirit is here to give Gifts to everyone as He wills.
I am not the Holy Spirit and I am not Jesus Christ.
But I represent the Lord Jesus Christ to declare His Word to you.
Focus on the Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is going to spread His Wings.
He has heard what you have said and what you say you need;
- The Gifts, like Flaming Fire will fall on you.
- The Understanding to operate the Gift will also come along.
- The Grace to put it to work would be released on you.
Say: Father, I believe You; and I believe Your Servant. Your Word says I should covet earnestly the Best Gift and You say I should desire the best Gift – I have made my desire known. My heart is open, and I believe You O Lord; I believe the Word of Your Servant, and my Heart is open.
As the Declarations shall be made, the Fire will Fall on me; and the Manifestations will begin.
And by Your Grace, I will use this to bring more Souls into Your Kingdom.
And as I Pray more in the Spirit, help me O LORD and all of the Glory shall be Yours. I will never take Glory for it.
Thank You Father!

Please Stretch your hands toward me, in the manner of receiving something;
FINAL CLOSING DECLARATIONS
My father, my father; Your Word does not fail.
Holy Spirit, You are the only One that can attend to Millions at a time.
And You’ve heard the cry of everyone.
Covenant Keeping God, as You have sent me, I have obeyed You.
In the lives of everyone that has cried to You, inclusive those reading now on the Label of the DMC:
Whatever will hinder the depositing of your Gifts and Grace, let Your Fire consume and remove it.
Grace from above, be released to Your Children.
In the Name of Jesus, let the Fire Fall now!
Diversities of Tongues and Interpretations; Gift of Prophecy, Fall like Fire upon Your Children.
Gifts of Healing, Working of Miracles, Faith, Fall like Flames of Fire upon the People now.
Let eyes be opened!
Lord Jesus, as You move in the Congregation, cause their eyes to be open and to see.
Let the Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom and Discerning of Spirits, like Fire fall now.
Receive the Fire! Receive the Fire!! Receive the Fire!!!
In the Name of Jesus – Amen.
Now say: “I receive!”
At the count of three (3) you will shout Jesus!
And when you shout Jesus! In your Spirit, Soul and Body, there will be a Breakthrough Manifestation.
My Father, it is time – Thank You.
One, Two, Three: Fire!
Jesus!
