TOPIC: THE FIRE MUST NEVER GO OUT
DATE: 24TH JANUARY 2026
BIBLE TEXT: LEVITICUS 6: 8-13
Leviticus 6:8-13:
- And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
- Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the Law of the Burnt Offering: It is the Burnt Offering, because of the burning upon the Altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the Altar shall be burning in it.
- And the Priest shall put on his linen Garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the Burnt Offering on the Altar, and he shall put them beside the Altar.
- And he shall put off his Garments, and put on other Garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
- And the fire upon the Altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the Priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the Burnt Offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the Peace Offerings.
- The fire shall ever be burning upon the Altar; it shall never go out.
I want to share with you for few Minutes this Morning on the Topic: “THE FIRE MUST NEVER GO OUT”.
I Congratulate you that the Fire fell Yesterday – DMC NOTES: During Day 1, Talk 2 Sermon by Pastor E.A Adeboye of the Workers and Ministers’ Conference 2026.
But now, the Lord is telling you specifically that the Fire must never go out.
The Fire of God that was releaeed upon your Life on Day 1 of this Workers and Ministers’ Conference 2026; if the Fire ever goes out, several Problems will follow.
It is better never to have received it than to loose it.
It is better never to have been able to see than to be Someone who used to see.
- When Fire goes out – Which is the same as what happens when Light goes out; Vision is lost.
In Judges 16: 18-21; when the Fire of Samson went out, the first thing that the Enemies did when they caught him was to Pluck out his eyes.
I Pray for everyone of you here Today or reading now on the Label of DMC: The Fire of God in your Life will never go out – Amen
Because the Bible says that where there is no Vision, the People Perished – Proverbs 29:18.
The moment Vision is lost, Progress is hampered.
If Light was to go out in this building last Night (DAY 1), getting out of here would have become a Problem.
Because when the Light is on, you can see the ashes, you can see other People and you can see the exit.
If everything suddenly became dark, you will be amazed that movement becomes very difficult.
I Pray for you one more time: The Fire of God on your Life will never go out – Amen.
I don’t know the exact Vision of the Brethren who bought this Land because when you look around now, you will find us already surrounded by houses – And we are already full.
The Question is: Where is the room for Expansion?
And you won’t be the first to fall into the same trap – I nearly did.
When we got to the Redemption Camp but now Redemption City of God; we had only 2.2 Acres of Land. But then God expanded us rapidly.
And in those days, we used to talk of acres.
Before we knew it, we Increased to almost 30 acres – Hey, we have arrived.
We built the first Auditorium – 100m by 50m and my People said that this is the biggest thing in Africa; let us walled it round.
I said that we haven’t even started and you are already saying “Stop”.
And then, we kept on buying and buying and buying until we reached a thousand acres – And even myself felt that we have tried.
I Pray for you: That everything that is limiting the Holy One of Israel in your Life shall be burnt by Fire – Amen.
Now, the 3km by 3km Auditorium alone is more than a thousand acres.
Because God woke me up one day and said: What is wrong with you boy? Who told you to stop? I Promise you a City and not a Camp.
Listen to me very well my children – Wherever you are now, and no matter how Great you think that you have become, you haven’t started – Amen.
- Wake Up! Please wake up.because when the Fire goes out, Destiny can be truncated!
God can said: Well, if that is all you want, then that is all that you will have.
A Single one of you can decide to hold a Meeting in his Town and have a crowd more than this.
Just one of my children in the United Kingdom held a Program early this Year and I watched the thing on YouTube.
The crowd they gathered in the United Kingdom alone singlehandedly was much more than this.
And I was telling my son – He said that did you watch it? I said I do
See what one Man can do!
When we started having Worker’s Meeting, we are less than 10% of those of us who are here.
Look at where we are Today?
Look at where we can be by this Time Next Year (2027)?
But as for many of us now; everything that is squeezing your Destiny shall be consumed by Fire – Amen.
- Why should any Minister in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) be satisfied with little? I can’t understand.
Afterall they said: Like father like son.
When you see your father always asking for more and always complaining that you are not doing enough, then how can you settle down for little?
I have told you the Story before of four (4) of us at Ilesha Grammar School way back in the 1950’s – We are good in Mathematics and so the Teacher loved us.
I mean that we will get 70%, 80% and after the Teacher will look at us and say: What is wrong with you when we are rejoicing? And he will say that you have not done well enough.
Ha, look at People who are getting 30% or 40%; we are 80% and above?
Then one day as if by accident, all the four (4) of us get 100% and we said that we will see what he will say today.
As soon as we came into the Class, we swaggered forward, then he looked at us and said: You have not done well enough.
Ha, ha; what else can we do?
He said that you are scoring 100% in Elementary Mathematics while your Age mate are already in the University Abroad.
Of the four (4) of us, the only Person who did not end up being a Professor of Mathematics is me because God put me aside to go and Profess something else.
Because we discovered that what that man was telling us is: There is a better room ahead.
How many of you will reach the Top? The DMC Family Members!
May I hear your Amen – Amen!
- When you read the Story of the Mad Man of Gadara – People say that I always refer to him. It is because there is a lot of Lesson to learn from him.
The Mad Man of Gadara wasn’t born Mad – It was Darkness that grabbed him.
And when the Light shone on him and the demons were casted out; the Man who was a Mad Man became an Evangelist so Mighty that when Jesus Christ returned back to that Place, because of the activity of one Man who used to be Mad there was no room for Jesus Christ.
The People who drove Him (Jesus Christ) away; many of them came now that Jesus Christ had to say: Hey, we have to look for somewhere to rest.
He was Destined to be an Evangelist but Darkness was squeezing his Destiny and truncating it.
- Whenever Fire goes out, God is Ridiculed.
And you can see how terrible that can be when they captured Samson in Judges 16: 28-30.
The idol worshippers were rejoicing – They said that our gods had delivered to us our enemy.
They took Samson to the Prison to be grinding corn – A Mighty Champion has now become Ex-Champion.
And at a Stage they say: Let us have some fun and let us Celebrate.
I Pray in the Name that is above every other name, the devil will never rejoice over you – Amen.
… The Enemies called a Party to rejoice over a fallen Champion of God.
At a Stage they say: Go and bring him forth and let him come and dance.
The one who used to dance for God now to come and dance for the devil?
- When Fire goes out, cockroaches and flies can now come and play on the Electric oven.
When the oven was hot, if they come near it, they die.
If your Fire remains burning and you remain hot; who is called the Witch or Wizard? They know themselves!
Nobody tells a cockroach when the cooker is hot – You get close, you will fry.
The Enemies knows themselves that flies never come near a burning stove – Nobody tells the flies not to go there.
But they also know that they can now Play on the oven if it is cold.
When the Fire is gone, the enemy can do whatever they like.
I Pray for you from the bottom of my Heart: Your Fire will never go out – Amen.
I have told you before the Story of Brother Sam – I keep telling you the Story.
He was a Young Man – Half Educated as he can only speak and read Yoruba.
But when they invited him to come and Preach in a College, he said that I will go and I will tell them to get me an Interpreter because I can’t speak English.
But as opened his mouth to say I can’t speak English; beautiful English began to flow – You have heard the Story before.
He Preached for one hour – He didn’t know what he was saying but after one hour; he saw People running forward to Surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.
There were at least three (3) cases well known that he raised the dead.
Then Pride came and the fire went out and he ended up in Lunatic Asylum.
If I were you, I think that when I hear that your Fire will not go out, my Amen will be loud – Amen.
But Thank God for Restoration.
Because there are some of us who used to be on Fire but by now we know what God did Yesterday and so some of us had decided to be on Fire.
There are some of us who had Vision – Send me anywhere in the world, I will capture the Place for Jesus Christ.
I still remembered very well my first visit to Papua New Guinea – They told me that we have a Vibrant Church there and the Place is far.
You want to know how far? When you are Australia, you still have to travel by Air for 6½ Hours.
When the Brother who was sent there to start the work got to Australia and they told him 6½ Hours more to go there; he said: Ha, ha; this Place is far o.
There was a time many of us are ready to go anywhere.
There was a time in one Particular Parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); when you go to Church in the Morning, you cannot tell where you will be by Next Sunday.
You go to Church and they say:
Brethren, there is an opening in Germany and we need Somebody to go.
Brethren, there is an opening in Libya.
Brethren there is a new opening in Bangladesh.
That Fire used to be in some People; where is it now?
Thank God for Restoration.
Because after Samson lost his sight, the Bible says in Judges 16:22; the hair on the head of Samson began to grow again.
I believed that the Almighty God brought us together this Weekend not for Ordinary Conference – I told you Yesterday that he brought us together for Restoration!
And many of us had gone cold – The Fire had gone out but God is saying that this is a Year of New Beginnings.
And He says that I will set you on Fire again – Amen.
But don’t let the Fire goes out.
When God woke me up that Night and said: Son, you have bought a thousand acres and you are rejoicing..
Ha, sorry Lord! And I began to buy more Land – Now it has become far, far more expensive than at the beginning.
The other day, I still held a Meeting with my children – What are we going to do now because we have more than 30,000 acres now?
But my children are increasing in number and there are some of you sitting down here who are yet to build your own house at the Redemption City of God and we have almost occupied all our Lands.
We need to buy an acre for #1,000 then – #1,000 then was a lot of Money then.
But now we are Struggling to Persuade them to take #2,000,000 for a Plot because they have now discovered oh this is what is coming and there is a Special City being built there:
☆ A City where water never runs out.
☆ A City when very, very soon; 24/7 there will be Electricity and not relying on Government.
And now, everybody wants to have a house at the Redemption City of God.
I woke up and God spoke to me to move – And I am still moving.
And some of us here are counting the days when we will retire so that we can rest.
I wanted to retire from the age of 60 years – I have have been Preparing for Retirement since then.
I have evident all over the world – I was asking my children in America which is the best Place to live, Houston, Dallas or Atlanta?
Where can I get a Land in a Village that is not more than 1 hour outside Town where Land will be cheap and a Place I can settle down for my Retirement.
I have People alive that I asked then but God didn’t allow me.
But then, He allowed some People.
But there are some People who are retired but are not tired.
I know at least one Person who said that I am retired now Praise God and I don’t have to run up and down like I used to do but from where I am, I will shake State.
That Man in Retirement has built singlehandedly more than twenty five (25) Churches.
From the little he gets from his Retirement benefits, he said that I am not going anywhere now, so what am I going to do with the money?
And he just kept on building for God.
So it all depends on you – Do you want to keep moving or do you want to come to a Standstill?
Have you been waiting so that you can sit down and eat three (3) times a day and enjoy yourself?
Or you seize the opportunity to keep on moving.
WHAT DO YOU TO KEEP THE FIRE BURNING?
Take David for instsnce:
I. David once said in Psalm 55:17 – He said that Morning, Noon and Evening will I call on the Lord.
That is, three (3) times a Day, I will make contact with the Lord (Morning, Afternoon and Evening).
II. As he grew older, he wrote another Psalm in Psalm 119: 164 – He said that seven times a day, I will Praise the Lord.
… He started with three (3) times but as he grew older, he said three (3) times is not enough – He said seven (7) times.
III. As he grew older, he wrote another Psalm in Psalm 34: 1-3 – He said that I will bless the Lord at all times.
And He went on to say that: His Praise shall continually be in my mouth.
From three (3) times to seven (7) times and then to all the time.
You know when the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5: 1-19 – Pray without ceasing.
You know that when you are Praying in Tongues, you are Stirring up the Fire because the Bible says: Stir up the Gift of God that is in you (DMC NOTES: 2 Timothy 1:6).
When I became Born Again in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); when they say: “Go ahead and Pray”; everybody will be Praying so loudly that they have to ring a bell for us to stop. And at times, they kept ringing the bell and we will hear it but we will not want to stop.
Nowadays, if we ask you to Pray; after 5 Minutes you will be wondering what is wrong with the Pastor? Is he not going to round up? Are we going to Pray here all Night?
Yet you heard me say this before – When I heard that there was a Man in a Place where his Church was so big – It is the biggest Church in the world then.
I said: God help me, I want to go and see this Man.
Finally, one way or the other, God Provided me Somebody who bought the Ticket and I went to South Korea into Yongi Cho’s Church – It was the biggest Church in the world then.
I mean that he has an Auditorium that can take five thousand (5,000) People at a time when the whole of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was not up to three thousand (3,000).
And he hold seven (7) Services on Sunday and the Place was not enough.
He was the first one I heard saying to People: Those of you who has come to Church this Sunday, don’t come Next Sunday so that those who could not come in this Sunday could come in Next Sunday.
Pastor begging Congregation not to come to Church Next Sunday?
I went there as I want to know all his Secrets and they told us that he has a Prayer Mountain and they took all of us who came all over the world to that Mountain.
On that Mountain, they dug a hole into the Mountain so that you can crawl in on your stomach and go there and Pray – Several holes round the Mountain.
So when People are Praying, the Mountain will be vibrating because of voices all over the Mountain.
So they took us there.
When I got there, I say: Hey God, Thank You as I have an opportunity to Pray – I crawled in there and began to Pray.
And I came out of the Place after 2 hours reluctantly and all the other buses were gone with only one remaining.
And the reason that they haven’t gone was that I was the only Black Man in the bus and so they knew Somebody was still missing.
When I arrived, they were very angry – Why have you delayed us so much?
I said that I am sorry – I thought that we came here to Pray.
And so? Are we going to Pray everything in one day? Ha sorry!
They were all very angry with me that Nobody was talking to me all the way back and I was glad because my Spirit was still roaring inside me.
Not long ago, I was back in South Korea to go and visit our Churches there.
And I said maybe I can see that Man – In those days, you can’t see such a Big Man.
But then, I went in to see him – I said, sir I was here at such and such time; now I am here again.
He said that I have heard of you and he said: Will you Please Pray for me?
I caught the fire on his Mountain; I didn’t let the Fire die as I kept fanning the Fire.
The Fire that started in Seoul, expanded when it got to Nigeria so that a Nigeria can now go back and the Man said: Will you Please Pray for me?
Before you return Next Year (2027); let your Fire keep burning.
Let me round up because it is easy to talk but it is the Action Part that you found difficult.
You may think that you are already Great – Oh, everywhere I go now all over the world, they will say that you are the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Oh Glory be to God – We have heard about you. How do you do it?
And I look at these People – What is wrong with them? They think that we are something.
I mean Last Year (2025); there was a Group called The World Apostolic Coalition – The Big ones all over the world.
One Fellow from Indian, one from America, one orr two from Europe and so on – They were holding a Convention and they invited me to come and Preach.
The Convention was for three (3) days and I thought that I am going to be one of the Preachers and will just share my Testimonies.
I got there and they told me that you are the only Preacher for the three (3) days.
They all thought that here comes a Big Man of God.
And while I was crying; knowing that I am not where I should be.
I was telling Someone the other day – I said that if I were Churches in America and if they were supposed to be where they ought to be; Donald Trump (DMC NOTES: The American President) won’t come to Nigeria without consulting me because over there, Politicians rely on the crowd.
If by now during their Campaign, they heard that The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is holding their Convention in America and that there will be at least two Million People there; evey Contestants will come.
And when they come, they will come and meet me in the Office and I will greet them before they go to the Stage.
And if he know that if I say: okay, my crowd will vote for you and they voted for him and he becomes the President.
And he wants to deal with my Country? You think that he won’t consult me?
Oh we are doing Great – We have about a thousand Branches in America.
That is good but what is one thousand when we could have at least one hundred thousand?
How many of you when we ask you that how many branches we have now – And we are going to be asking you soon.
You will give us names of Parishes and we are coming to check because we know that some of the names you will write they are existing only on Paper?
There will be names that you wrote because you wanted to become a Province.
And you don’t know that the wind is blowing – It is indeed!
Paul said in Philippians 3: 13-15 – He said that I have not arrived as I am Pressing on.
Everybody is saying: Daddy you must rest.
I know but maybe they didn’t read 1 Kings 13: 1-end – That Prophet who decided to rest before he got home was killed by a Lion.
Someone asked me sometimes ago: Daddy, do you mean that at your age you are still running?
i said that the closer you get to your Goal, the faster that you must run and the more careful you must be.
I am sure that many of you think that when I ask you to Fast, I throw you to it while I am resting.
I remembered when I said that when you are over 70 years, you don’t have to Fast. They said that he has taken care of himself.
Nobody among you can Fast more than – It is not going to happen.
Why? Because when I ask you to Fast say for 100 Days but if you want to bring everything together, you can Fast continously everyday for 30 Days and that will take care of everything.
What do I do?
I Fast the Single Days and when I get to the middle, I jumped to the 30 Days.
So I will Fast both the Single Days and the Combined Days – So there is no way that you can beat me.
Why? Because the Fire must get hotter and not cooler.
Remember 2 Corinthians 12:15, Paul said: I will gladly spend and be spent
Why? Because I am Pressing on and I have not arrived yet.
You will only arrive when God said: Well done boy; come Home now!
Are you getting to go Home now? No, who told you that I am?
You must rest Daddy – Yes, I will rest. Who told you that I won’t rest?
But does that rest means that do Nothing? – You must be kidding me.
I will keep moving because my Fire must get hotter.
I will keep going until finally we arrive in Glory.
When you get to Heaven – You know over there, we don’t sleep because the Joy there is so much that you won’t have time to sleep over there.
So, I am going to ask you to Pray – I will give you few Minutes to Pray here.
You will Pray that Prayer, I will Pray for you, and we will do our Thanksgiving so that you can be on your way home.
But you know that there could be a difference between People going home and growing Old?
In 1977, we went to hold a Congress in Ilorin (Capital City of Kwara State Nigeria) and God moved Mightily – Oh, we were full of Joy.
So myself, my wife and our little children we were all travelling from Ilorin to Lagos in my car. And on the way, foodstuffs far far cheaper in Ilorin Ilorin than in Lagos.
By the time you get to somewhere, the Toll Gate used to be at Ibadan and they sell Bushmeat and so on.
So we decided that we will buy yam on the way and bushmeat.
We were rejoicing and we just started off to sing and to Pray.
Do you know that we didn’t know when we arrived in Lagos?
And we said: Wait a Minute o, we were supposed to buy yams and bushmeat? Well, let us Thank God a little more.
We had Prayed all the way from Ilorin to Lagos; let’s Thank God a little more and another one hour went.
Once the Fire is burning and if you allow it; it will keep on burning and expanding.
Are you ready to ask God to help you so that your Fire will keep on burning?
When the Fire is burning, it makes a Noise.
If the bush is on fire, long before you get there; you will be hearing cracking noises and you will know that something is happening.
On the Day of Pentecost, the Fire fell; only one hundred and twenty (120) People Prayed and the whole City heard them.
You know that I used to wonder: Are we really a Pentecostal Church?
Some of us have become so Sophisticated that when we Pray, People next door don’t even hear us.
But we are right now in the Camp and we are not disturbing anybody.
I am going to give you 15 Minutes only to go to the Lord and cry unto Him:
I don’t know of others o, but Please don’t let my Fire go out!
Shall we Stand and begin to Pray and cry unto Him for Help!!!
