QUESTION: Daddy, is there any Mystery to the Kingdom of God?
RESPONSE FROM DADDY GO
I can’t see the Mystery there. We know what the Kingdom of God is;
- We know the Kingdom of God is that Kingdom where God is King;
- And the Members of that Kingdom are those who are truly Born Again.
- And the Kingdom of God belongs to His Children.
So for you to enter into that Kingdom you must become like New Born Babies.
And if you want to be a part of the Kingdom of God, you must be ready for violence.
Because the Bible says, And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. (DMC NOTES: Matthew 11:12)
QUESTION: Daddy’s, this Question is from your children in Continent 1 – They are asking, “What are the Signs that a Young Person is truly walking in God’s Will?”
RESPONSE FROM DADDY GO
What are the Signs?
Occasionally, when you want to answer some deep Philosophical Questions, the best way is to go the opposite direction.
I mean, for example, if I ask you to tell me, “What is Life?” You would discover you don’t even know how to define Life.
- Because when I say, “What is Life?” You will say, Life is living.
- What is Living? You’ll say, “Living is to have Life” (laughter).
But if I ask you, “What is Death?” Ha! You what death is. It is the Permanent separation from People, Places and thing. That is death!
What do you mean by “Permanent separation?” There are separations that are not Permanent. If you travel you are separated from your house, your bed, your neighbours – That would be Temporary separation; because you would be back. But when you are dead the separation is Permanent.
So if I say, “What is Life?” You would say, Life is the opposite of Death.
When you say, “How do we know when a child of God is really working for God?” The Question is, “How do we know that Somebody is working for the devil?” That is the opposite.
“How do we know someone is full of the Holy Spirit?” The answer to the Question is, “How do we know someone is truly Demon Possessed?”
When someone is truly Demon Possessed, just take the Madman of Gadara, and you’ll get an example:
I. When someone is truly Possessed of the devil he becomes Extra Strong.
So when someone is truly working for God, they don’t get tired easily.
….When someone is working for the devil, how do we know?
II. Most invariably he or she would love to be Naked.
How do we know some Sisters who are still working for the devil? Look at their dress!
Celebrate Daddy!
Daddy, You will walk in His Way; and you will walk in His Will all the days of your Life life in the Name of Jesus!
QUESTION: Daddy, how can Youth and Young Adults hear from God clearly, and distinguish between His Voice and Emotions or Peer Pressure and not listen to the voice of the devil)?
RESPONSE FROM DADDY GO
Jesus Christ said, My Sheep hear my Voice, and I know them, and they follow me: (DMC NOTES: John 10:27)
Even before you are Born Again you hear voices – You might not realize it, but there is something called Conscience; Something that tells you, “what you are doing is wrong.”
You want to steal an extra meat from Mama’s pot when Mama is not looking; there’s something that tells you, “what you are doing is wrong.” That is why you look right and left to be sure Nobody is watching.
The Bible makes it clear that the Spirit of Man is the Lamp of God, searching the innermost part of the Earth.
When they said, “Oh, we have Meeting with the General Overseer: Where we can ask Questions and he would answer.”
There is something inside of you that says, Glory be to God! You heard it, you rejoiced.
But there is something also deep within some of you that would say, God have Mercy! I hope while he is speaking to us he would not discover my secret.
Oh, it has happened before – One of my daughters in America said to the children, “Daddy GO has agreed to come to our house.” The eldest boy said, Oh God, I am in trouble! The mother asked, why? “That Man, as soon as he comes, he would know all I’ve done wrong.
There’s something in that boy that told him, “Light is coming, Darkness will be exposed.”
Hearing from God is as easy as ABC. It’s a matter of, “which noise are you going to pay attention to?”
Where we are now is full of noises, all manners. If you don’t believe me bring a radio, turn it on. You tune it to one frequency, you’ll be hearing Radio Nigeria. The noise had been here all along, just waiting for the current Receiver. Tune it to another frequency, you can be hearing Radio Ghana.
The issue is, “What frequency are you tuning on to?” And God knows His own; He knows those who want to hear from Him.
Oh, you say, “That’s not what we are saying Daddy; We are talking about hearing Specifically, like we guess you do once in a while.” Ha! I get the Point.
Several years ago – And I am sure I have told you before; When I just got Born Again at the University of Lagos, somebody took me to a Christian Fellowship Gathering.
I was Young in the Lord – I got there, they were singing Choruses. I loved the Choruses even though I didn’t know the Lyrics, I was enjoying everything.
Then all of a sudden, as if by Signal from somewhere, everybody just became quiet. And I was wondering why.
And then one brother began to Prophesy, “Thus saith the LORD…”
And he began to talk. I nodged the fellow who took me there, I said, “when did the Lord say that?
He said, be quiet, God is speaking. I said, “I am not hearing anything (Laughter).
I was innocent; and I was speaking the truth.
God was speaking, and only one fellow was hearing Him. “Why am I not hearing?”
That day I Prayed! And I am sure that some of you have heard my Testimony – “God, I too want to be hearing from You, so that next time somebody says, “Thus saith the LORD…” I would know if he is telling the truth or he is lying.
If you ask God to speak to you directly He will.
Because it wasn’t long after that, that I began to hear from God – And I’m still hearing from Him till now.
There’s a little bit of warning to add to that because I’m your Dad: “If you say, Oh God I want You to begin to talk to me.” Some of the things you would hear may not be Pleasant.
If you want God to be speaking to you, you must get ready for a Life of Holiness – Amen.
He will not allow anything wrong done by you to go uncorrected – Amen.
I’ll give you an example, because I know all of us here, including those reading now on the Label of DMC, would want to be hearing from God.
And I decree in the Name that’s above every other name, God will open your ears – Amen.
Some of you have heard the Story before – I traveled to Ilesha and returned to Lagos. After sometime I decided to go and visit my father-in-the-Lord. And as I was going I remembered that he has taught us that we must not visit a Man of God empty-handed.
So I saw some oranges by the roadside in Surulere, and I bought some. When I got there, I presented them to him.
Oh, welcome! Are you back from Ilesha? I said Yes. And quickly he asked that they peel some of the oranges for him.
As he was sucking the oranges he said, this orange is sweet: did you buy it on the roadside?
The Question came so quickly. The answer I gave was, Yes Sir.
Immediately, the Holy Spirit said, you lied!
What’s the lie? “You bought it on the roadside?” And I said yes.
But God said, you know the ‘roadside’ he is referring to: “Did you buy it by the roadside returning from Ilesha?”
I said Lord (and this time I am not talking loud); it’s between me and Him. When He is talking to you like you want, many a times it’s between you and Him.
I said, roadside is roadside; Surulere roadside, Ilesha roadside.
The Holy Spirit said, you know the Question he asked; the answer you gave is wrong.
So I said Lord, what difference does it make to the sweetness of the orange? The Holy Spirit didn’t let me rest.
You want to hear from Him and you think you can still do anything you like? He won’t allow you.
I hope you’ve heard me!
Finally, I had to say: Papa, he said, yes my son. “You asked whether I bought the orange by the roadside coming from Ilesha.” He said, yes my son. I said No, I bought it on the roadside in Surulere.
Do you know what he said? He said hmmm! Holy Spirit.
That’s all he said because he knew Who was dealing with me.
You want to be hearing from God?
- You won’t be able to lie anymore.
- You won’t be able to exaggerate.
- You won’t be able to call four (4), ten (10).
If He’s the one talking, His talk would be in accordance with the Word of God.
Remember, He is a Holy God.
But I still decree in the Name that’s above every other name; May your ears be open – Amen.
QUESTION: What Spiritual Disciplines or Activities should Youth engage or Prioritize in today’s world?
RESPONSE FROM DADDY GO:
… I will answer, and I will take two (2) more Questions – if you want to.
I will tell you a Story that would answer the Question as to the Discipline that will help you focus.
I know your own world is a bit different from the one we grew up in – Now you have YouTube and all kinds of ‘Tubes.’ In our own time there wasn’t anything like that.
But you see, when we were in the University – And I am talking of the 1960s; most of the troubles we had in the University is that we rioted. And it’s always around January/February.
Why? We have just returned from Holidays, and we felt they should have allowed us to enjoy a little more. We rioted so they can close down the University.
But it wasn’t long before the School Authority discovered the secret – As soon as we resumed from the Christmas holiday they will put a Notice, “Proposed Examination Timetable.” The Examination will not take place until May/June, yet they put up a Proposed Examination Timetable in January/February.
And as soon as we hear, “Proposed Examination Timetable” everybody focused on their Studies, “I don’t want to riot, the Examination Timetable is already out; I want to focus on my studies.”
It is what is Uppermost in your Heart that will occupy your attention.
During our own time growing up, there were also diversions – Diversions like Cult.
And our Cults in those days were not terrible things like we have today – We had ‘Kegites’ (Palm wine Drinkers).
Those who just call themselves Cult because they drink Palm Wine – Harmless, except for those who got drunk.
But there are those of us who wanted to Study.
I started my Studies at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Almost within the week of my arrival, I met someone who is a Relation of mine that I had never met, who is older than I – He saw me moving around with ‘Freshers’ and we were shouting, making a noise.
He called me aside and said: “Nsukka is far from home! You came here to Study. Don’t worry about these People, they are near their own homes.
You came from far; you are here to Study” – And that Changed everything!
Heaven is far from Port Harcourt – You have a long way to go. You better focus on where you are going.
As soon as I became Born Again (like I just told you), and I heard somebody Prophesying; I said God, I want to hear Your Voice.
It wasn’t long after I became Born Again that I said, “Lord, I don’t want to be an Ordinary Christian to start with.”
I just don’t want to be Ordinary – And if you don’t want to be Ordinary;
- You have to Study the Bible.
- You have to Pray; not like Ordinary Christians do. It has to be like someone who wants to be Extraordinarily.
In those days we had what they called Pocket Bibles – It’s about the size of your Mobile Phones. Wherever I go, I had one in my Pocket. When I am on the toilet, it’s there.
I remembered one occasion we went for a Conference in Kenya, and I went to the toilet.
As I was coming out of the toilet, Bro Kumuyi was coming out of another toilet.
And do you know what? I had my own Pocket Bible with me, he had his own Pocket Bible with him. We looked at each other and began to laugh: That even in the toilet we are focusing on God.
By the Grace of God today with all humility, Nobody can call me an Ordinary Pastor (Hallelujah), because I refused to be one!
Do you know, when I joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), I can’t remember anytime when they asked us to Fast more than one (1) day. We Fasted just one day, that’s about all.
When we asked, “Why don’t we Fast more than a day? They’ll say, are you “Aladura?” Yet they said we should follow the Bible.
And I saw in the Bible where Paul said, I Fasted often.
They said, “Everybody is not Paul.” I said, I agree – Maybe that’s the reason the Bible says, “God Performed Special Miracles by the hand of Paul.”
So I told them, “I will be like Paul; I will Fast whether others Fast or not.”
I have been Fasting since then; and God had been working since then.
I got Born Again in the University of Lagos, many a times my friends would call me: Oh, Brother join us we are going out.
When I ask, “What’s going on?” They’ll say, something like this and that is going on. It’s organized by one of the ‘Big Shots.’
I would simply say, thank You very much, I’m not going.
“Why are you not going?”
I would say, “The one that People would gather to watch, does not watch People.”
… Do you hear what I said?
You have to choose if you want to be a Spectator; or you want to be the one that Spectators will gather to watch (some day).
I told you early this Morning during the Day 2 Morning Session of The RCCG South South and South East Worker’s Meeting 2026 that we haven’t even started – That we are far, far behind Schedule.
If we are far, far behind Schedule, to catch up, we have to not just walk; not just run but to fly!
So, if you say something is distracting your attention, it’s because you are not focused yourself. You don’t even know where you are going. I know where I am going!
And whether you believe it or not; there are some of you here, or reading now on the Label of DMC, who are going to be Greater than I – Amen.
QUESTION:
Sir, this fellow is asking: Do you have any Advice for Someone who has lost his or her Faith in God?
RESPONSE FROM DADDY GO:
Thank you! Yes, I do.
You have just lost Faith in God, sorry! Because it means you have lost Faith in your Future:
- The only One who controls your Future;
- The only One who controls your Destiny;
- The only One who can make sure you reach your Goal.
- The only One who can make sure you become anything at all in Life;
He is the One you say you have lost Faith in? You are finished!
There is no need begging anybody who says he has lost Faith in God to come back to have Faith in Him. No, stay away!
He’s our Beginning, He’s our Ending.
He says, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I Sanctified thee, and I Ordained thee a Prophet unto the Nations.(DMC NOTES: Jeremiah 1:5)
He says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of Peace, and not of evil, to give you an Expected End. (DMC NOTES: Jeremiah 29:11)
And then you say, “Because things are not working the way I want, God take care of yourself.” Good!
Why don’t you Study the Life of Joseph:
God showed him Dreams, and he was glad.
Instead of the Dreams being fulfiled:
I. He found himself in a well – dry Pit.
- Oh God, I thought I am supposed to be a Ruler? Now I am in a Pit. Well, at least they didn’t kill me.
II. He became a Slave.
- Thank You that even in Slavery, I became a Leader, leading Slaves. I may be a Slave, but a good one.
III. And when I tried to do Your Will Oh God; I ran away from sin, and I ended up in Prison. Well, in Prison I am still in Charge.
IV. Then one day he became a Prime Minister.
If he had lost Faith in God, he would have either died as a Slave; or died as a Prisoner.
You are still breathing, there is Hope – Tomorrow is going to be alright – Amen.
There is Someone who is not only the Alpha, but He is the Omega.
In any case, where will you go? To whom will you go, but unto God.
But if you say you have lost Faith in God, you are being stupid (forgive me) – I am just telling you the Plain Truth.
But in case there’s anyone here or reading now on the Label of DMC, who thinks he or she has lost Faith in God; The Almighty God will Restore you – Amen.

Three (3) days ago, Daddy Celebrated his forty fifth (45th) Anniversary as our General Overseer.
Can we say, Congratulations to Daddy? Congratulations Sir!
- For the Past forty five (45) years Daddy has been consistent.
- He has been focused.
- He has been leading and encouraging us.
- He has been a father to us all.
Come on, Celebrate God in his Life!
QUESTION: Daddy, what are your Secrets these Past forty five (45) years that the Glory and Glamour of being a General Overseer has not overwhelmed you, Sir?
You have been consistent and deeper still all these years – What are your Secrets Sir?
RESPONSE FROM DADDY GO:
Thank you for Celebrating me!
One Young fellow in Abuja (when we had a Meeting like this) asked a fairly similar Question:
“How have you been able to remain focus all these years? And you have not Changed like some General Overseers have Changed from time to time.”
I think I would give you the same answer I gave that Young man.
But we’ve seen quite a lot of Changes in the Past forty five (45) years.
I have been a General Overseer even before some of you were born; and things have been rough – Don’t let anybody deceive you.
I had been a General Overseer for five (5) years, and I would be in the Redemption Camp; I couldn’t go to Lagos because I didn’t have Two Naira for Toll Gate Tickets.
In those days, there was a Toll Gate in Lagos – You need one Naira to go, and one Naira to come back.
In my first five (5) years as a General Overseer, I still had Problems as little as two Naira. Bbut we were happy, we were excited, because we knew our future would be alright.
How many of you know that your future will be alright? The DMC family Members!
I mean, I used to be an Acting Head of Department both at the University of Lagos (Lagos State) and then at the University of Ilorin (Kwara State) – My car then was Toyota Crown. And way back in 1975, Toyota Crown was the “Real Car” – I mean tall, elegant.
But I had to sell the car when I came into Full Time Ministry and for quite a while, I traveled by buses in Lagos.
And I was as glad as anybody can be and we were able to be focus because somehow, we had a glimpse of the future.
One of my son’s still met me today and said Daddy, I am Praying to God that one day I would come to you and say, “What kind of Jet do you want so that I can buy it for you?”
I smiled! So if you see me riding one Jet today, and another one tomorrow, it will be because God has Provided many children and then they will be struggling amongst themselves: “Which Jet is he flying in today? Is it the one I bought?
Am I talking to Somebody here? Yes, Sir – The DMC family Members!
You would discover that you would be subject to Variations if you are really not well Grounded.
I told that Young man who asked that Question in Abuja that there was a time when you want to wear a face cap, the sharp end would face forward.
Then after sometime they said No, it should be facing the right side – That’s when you are Fashionable.
Then they said No, it should be to the left.
Finally, they said it should be to the back.
And you see some People Changing with it.
But then they found out that some of us, we remained as we were – Just face forward.
Why? Because after you go round and round, you would be Grateful that there are some People who are still Pointing in the right way.
So, I gave the example of what happened in the olden days when People go on Voyage, and they go far into the Ocean.
When you go far into the Ocean, you get to a Place where the only thing you can see anywhere you turn is water.
And so the wind will blow the boat here and there; and the Question now comes, “How do I find my way back home?”
And I said, in the Sky at Night, there is a set of Stars called, “The Northern Stars” – They have a Particular Shape, and they are always in the North.
So at Night when you have been in the Ocean for days and you want to begin to find your way back home; you would look at the Northern Stars and you will know, “that is the North.”
And you want to go to South-South; from the North, you can turn (how many degrees?) to begin to go to South-South.
My Northern Stars is the Lord Jesus Christ.
- He doesn’t Change with Fashion.
- He doesn’t Change with all manners of Preaching.
- He doesn’t Change when there is somebody who says, “Once you are Born Again you are free to do whatever you like.”
He knows that sooner or later, the fellow is going to say;
- Jesus was not born by Mary.
- Jesus didn’t even die for your sins.
Since Jesus Himself said, whatever you take in does not defile you; then you can drink beer.
Knowing fully well that if you begin to drink beer, very soon you will begin to drink gin and very soon you will be taking cocaine.
God doesn’t Change!
He says, “I am Holy.”
He said that a long time ago and He is still saying the same thing now.
Call me Stupid – I am just following my “Northern Star” (The Lord Jesus Christ).
He says, Because it is written, Be ye Holy; for I am Holy. (DMC NOTES: 1 Peter 1:16)
He also says, Follow Peace with all Men, and Holiness, without which no Man shall see the Lord: (DMC NOTES: Hebrews 12:14)
That’s enough for me. I don’t know Greek, I don’t know Hebrew.
Fortunately, I didn’t attend Bible College but I know, if I keep going the way I am going, I will make it to Heaven.
And I know I will see some of you there – Amen!

You’ll be Blessed in the Evening;
You’ll be Blessed in the Night time.
When you go out, you’ll be Blessed.
When you come in, you’ll be Blessed.
All the days of your Life, you’ll be Blessed.
You will be Greater than I.
And you will all make it to Heaven.
So shall it be!
