Good Evening.

Let us Pray!

OPENING PRAYER

Father, we Thank You for this time and for this hour.

Lord, I Pray Tonight that You will speak a Word that will help us to Soldier on, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Thank You Holy Spirit. Blessed be Your Name.

For in Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Good Evening everyone Present.

And to everyone that is listening to us via Platforms all over the world, inclusive those reading on the label of DMC.

The Lord Bless You tremendously, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Firstly, I want to Thank God for the tremendous work He is doing in this Place; in our midst and in this End time.

Also, I want to Specifically thank our Daddy and Mummy G.O, for being examples of true Christian Leadership to Christians all over the world.

Let’s Celebrate Daddy and Mummy!

We Pray that God would continually be with them, in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.

Secondly, I bring Greetings from my Dad – my father, Prophet S.K Abiara; who tenders his apology that he is not here. But he has sent me to speak on his behalf.

I am glad to announce to you that Papa is doing very well, and he growing Strong.

Very soon, he will be back amongst us, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

I am humbled that he has sent me to carry this monumental task on his behalf – It is a task that I do not take lightly.

I don’t consider it a right – Though I am his son. But I consider it a Great Privilege.

And Please everyone, help me celebrate my father; Papa S.K Abiara – Even in his absence.

And he wants me to pass a Message to Daddy and Mummy G.O, for the love that they’ve always shown to him – The Camaraderie amongst them.

DMC NOTES: “Camaraderie” simply means: The feeling of Trust and Friendship among a Group of People who have usually known each other for a long time or gone through some kind of Experience together.

And he Prays that God would continue to give Daddy and Mummy G.O Strong Health, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Alright? If you have your Bibles; in the brevity of the time that I have, 1 Samuel 2:9, the Bible says:

He will keep the feet of His Saints, and the Wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by Strength shall no Man Prevail.

In 2 Samuel (reading from the beginning), we see the Songs of Praise of Hannah, which she rendered after dedicating Samuel to God.

You all know the Story of Hannah – How she went through a Period of time when she had no child; but God answered her Prayers.

As I am confident Tonight, that everyone that is here, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC: God will answer your Prayers, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

I say: God will answer your Prayers, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

So, in these Songs of Praise, Hannah began to talk about who God is – About the Sovereignty of God.

And in talking about the Sovereignty of God, she began to talk about God in a Paradoxical way:

• Presenting God as One who exalts, but then can put down.
• A God who makes alive, and can also kill.
• She Presented God as One who does not Change, but is able to Change situations.
• A God who turns despair to Hope.
• A God who turns Failure to Triumph.
• A God who turns Sorrow unto Joy.

And as you are here Tonight, I hereby announce to those of you who are here, and everyone under the sound of my voice, inclusive those reading now on the label of DMC:

Because you are connected to this Congress; every of your sorrow, God will turn them to Joy, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

I say: God will turn them to Joy, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

So, in our Bible Text (1 Samuel 2:9), Hannah began to enumerate, and she said, “By Strength shall no man Prevail.”

The Theme of this Congress is: “Onward Christian Soldier.”

Whenever you meet a Soldier – Tt least the few ones I have met; one of the things you would notice in Soldiers is that they carry an aura of Invincibility.

You know, when you see Soldiers all fully dressed, they have weapons (guns).

And when People see them, they accord them respect: because Nobody wants to offend a Soldier.

Why? Because they Project Strength!

Here, the Bible is telling us, as a Christian Soldier, “Strength alone is not enough to win the battle that you are facing.”

Man’s Strength alone is not enough – Because, the battle that we face are in Phases.

THREE (3) PHASES OF WARFARE.

I’ve come to realize that Spiritual Warfare and the battles that we face; they come in Three (3) Phases:

1. Absolute Necessity:

Spiritual Warfare and the battles we are facing is of an Absolute Necessity.

No matter how you look at it, as a Christian, you will always be a Soldier.

Why? Because you will always fight a battle.

2. Universal Necessity:

The battles we face as Christian Soldiers, are that of Universal Necessity.

Meaning, it doesn’t matter where you are:

• You may be in Africa, you will fight a battle.
• You may be in Europe, you will fight a battle.
• You may be in Asia, you will fight a battle.

It’s of Universal Necessity.

3. Perpetual Necessity:

The battles we face, the battle we are fighting as Christian Soldiers, is of Perpetual Necessity – It doesn’t stop.

The moment you think you’ve won one battle, another one is starting again.

So, the Bible is telling us; because of this, as Christian Soldiers, we cannot depend on our Strength alone.

Let me say it again; we cannot depend on our Strength along.

We have to depend on the Strength of the Commander-In-Chief of God’s Army – Jesus Christ Himself.

We can’t do it by ourselves.

And this is what the Bible is telling us that we cannot rely on our Strength alone – Brethren:

1. Financial Strength alone cannot give us Victory.
2. Intellectual Strength alone is not enough in this battle.
3. Political Strength alone is not enough.
4. Relational Strength alone is not enough.

… May I even venture and tell you that;

5. Our Righteousness alone is not enough!

It is only in the Strength of God that we can achieve Victory.

So tonight, as Christian Soldiers, I want to encourage you – I want to let you know: we cannot win on our Strength alone.

We can only win our battles by relying on the Strength of the Almighty God.

Why? The Bible says, “The Battle belongs to God.“

If the battle belongs to God, why are you trying to win it in your own Strength? “The battle belongs to God!”

I. So, we must understand that this battle is not Physical.

Because if it was Physical, those People who are well built and Strong can win it.

II. But it is Spiritual in Nature:

SPIRITUAL BATTLES REQUIRE SPIRITUAL WEAPONRY.

You cannot conquer Spiritual battles with Physical Weaponry.

DMC NOTES: Weaponry is the Science of designing and making Weapons.

And that is why:

1. All Power belong to God:

You must rely on God’s Power and on God’s Strength – Because He is the One who has all Power.

Listen! There is no Man who is born of a Woman, that has all Power. Hello!

Only God has all Power.

That is why Jesus Christ said in Matthew 28:18, “All Power is given unto me in Heaven and in Earth.”

So, we must rely on God, because He has all Power.

2. Our Strategies must be based on His Wisdom.
3. And we must Submit to His Leading and Direction.

Let me tell you something: No matter how skilled a Soldier is, the moment he or she begins to operate outside the operation of the Commander, there would be a Problem.

Also, we as Christian Soldiers cannot do that – We must not venture into operating outside the Commands of the Great Commander of our Army, who is Jesus Christ our LORD.

The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the LORD with all thine Heart; and lean not unto thine own Understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy Paths.

When we are going to this Battlefront; Ladies and Gentlemen, and everyone that is watching all over the world, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC. You must understand:

• We cannot fight the battle alone.
• We cannot fight it on our own Strength alone.
• We cannot fight it on our own Intellect alone.
• We cannot fight it on our own Wisdom alone.

We must lean on, and Trust in God.

• We must Trust in His Direction.
• And we must Trust in His Battle Plans.

Because we know, He is the One who has fought battles and has never lost.

Hello!

God is the only One who has never lost a battle – He would never lose a battle.

So, if He has never lost a battle, it would be tantamount to a grievous error to anyone who says, “I don’t want to follow His dictates”.

We must follow God and we must Trust Him – That is how we win the battle.

Because His Word says, the Strength of Man alone is not enough.

In Isaiah 26:4, the Bible says, Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is Everlasting Strength:

Listen: if we depend on our Strength alone, there are times; because we are human, we will get weary. But God never gets weary.

The Bible says He doesn’t sleep, He doesn’t slumber. He is always there and He is always ever ready to fight that battle for us.

So, we must continue to Trust in Him as Christian Soldiers.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we cannot win by our Strength alone:

• We have to depend on Him.
• We have to Trust in Him.
• We have to obey His orders.
• And we must follow His Commands to the Letter.

I was watching a Movie a long time ago in the United States, called: “A Few Good Men.”

And in the Movie, one of the Commanders was speaking and he said, “If someone does not follow orders, he becomes a Victim in the Army.”

Also, as Christian Soldiers, when we get to a Point where we want to Trust in our own Power, in our own Strength; then we become detrimental to the bone of everyone else in the Battalion.

So, as Christian Soldiers that would go Forward; we know that it is not by our Strength alone – We must depend on the Strength of the Almighty God.

And to the degree that we depend upon His Strength, then Victory is ours; and Victory is sure!

The Bible says in Romans 8:37-39, Nay, in all these things we are more than Conquerors through him that loved us. For I am Persuaded, that neither Death, nor Life, nor Angels, nor Principalities, nor Powers, nor things Present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other Creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As long as we trust Him; as long as we fellow His directions, as our Commander-In-Chief, our Victory is sure.

We are going to conquer, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

There is a Song we used to sing when I was growing up in this Country (Nigeria).

The Song says:

Stand by me (Stand by me),
Blessed Saviour – Stand by me;
For I have no Strength, nor Power of my own.
Stand by me, Blessed Saviour
Stand by me.

Please, Stand Up on your feet (if you can) as we Pray:

SPECIAL PRAYER POINT

I just want us to take one Prayer Point and speak to God.

Say: Father; I Trust in You, I rely on You. As I go to battle, I have my Victory, in the Name of Jesus.

Begin to Pray!

Speak unto God, say: I have my Victory in the Name of Jesus.

Thank You Holy Spirit.

For in Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

FINAL PRAYER – SPECIAL REQUEST FROM BABA ABIARA.

It says – Everyone, let’s Pray for Daddy and Mummy G.O.

• That the Lord will be with them, in Jesus’ Name.
• That the Lord will give then Sound Health, in the Name of Jesus.
• That their Calling, Nothing will mess with it, in the Name of Jesus.

Let us begin to Pray!
