What the Lord Is Saying on Covid-19. Part IV

Good morning, everyone. Glory be to Jesus Christ. Alleluia.

With what has happened these past weeks, there can be no doubt left that there is a Most High who rules in the affairs of men. Covid-19 has utilised its jurisdiction to prove this point beyond the territory of contestation;

see Part II. What The Lord is Saying About Covid-19. Part II

Thankfully, God has done all of this without keeping us in the dark;

see Part I. : What The Lord is Saying About Covid-19. Part I

What amazes me the most is that, from a human point of view, most plans must be kept secret from adversaries to be successful; but not so with Almighty, the One who speaks and it comes to pass as is, the A-lèwí-lèṣe.

Some 2 600 years ago, despite a 12-month advance warning, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon (the world power from 632 – 539 BCE) had a terrible firsthand encounter with Him: And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation. And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? – Daniel 4: 34, 35

So what is the Lord saying at this time?

Shall we examine the Scriptures together?

Psalm 33: 12; 1 Peter 2: 9, 10; 1 John 5: 14, AUV: Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance[we] are a chosen generation… the people of God … And this is how we can express boldness in our relationship with God: Whatever we ask of God, in prayer, so long as it is in harmony with His will for us, we know He hears our request.

Oh, what is His will at this time – now that we have done all that we know to do?

Now that we have prayed and prayed and prayed, maybe even prayed to the point of mockery, and continuing from Part III – 1 John 2: 7 – the Lord will have us examine a few more Scriptures:

  1. Hebrews 12:1. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
  2. John 9. Therein is a story of experts blatantly denying the power of God to heal at a time of His own choosing. Particular attention to be put to Verse 31: Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
  3. Perhaps you took note of the omission from 1 Peter 2: 9 above: that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
  4. Psalms 22: 26. The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live forever.
  5. 1 Peter 2: 13-15. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
  6. Acts 24: 16. And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.
  7. Luke 16: 10. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Again, there is a period, a process, and a purpose. If you are in full compliance with the Will of God as outlined above, then the Lord is saying to you: “Do not be discouraged, child.” Remember that He has got times and seasons in His hands; and He will keep you safe through this storm, and till the end. More on this in Part V — God willing.

Whereas most scripture quotations are from the Authorised (King James’) Version 1611, heavy reliance has again been placed on The New Testament in the Original Greek 1881 by BF Westcott and FJA Hort as reproduced in The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures 1985 by the New World Bible Translation Committee.

ADDENDUM:

Perhaps you recall these words: In Part IV, by His grace, we shall examine the same period from the other perspective. That was my intention at the time; but it is for good reason that this series is titled What the Lord Is Saying…

And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes – Luke 12: 47.

My prayer remains that we #qualify. Matthew 24: 13; Acts 20: 24.
