Praise God – Hallelujah!

We want to thank God for the opportunity to be here together tonight and this evening to share the Word of God.

We want to thank God for all the other Ministerations and Programmes that have been going on since morning.

I believe that we have been blessed so tremendously.

I will be sharing the Word of God with us for this Youth Hour.

I want us to just Pray together.

OPENING PRAYER

Father, we thank You and give You all the Praise and Glory tonight. We give You all the Honour, we Worship Your Name.

We ask and receive Wisdom revelation in the knowledge of Jesus. And we ask that the eyes of our hearts be flooded wih light and we ask that these Words will seer deep into the depth of our heart and cause transformarion and change and let our lives be forever changed by the Words in the Name of Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father.

in Jesus Mighty Name we Pray – Amen.

Hallelujah!

I want to appreciate God for the Privilege to bring God’s Word to us this evening.

It is a rare Privilege and I thank God for all our Leaders who have made this happen.

IT IS TIME TO FLY!

I want to start my teaching this evening by reminding you of a story – I’m sure many of us must have heard over the years. I will just share my own Version.

It is the story of an Eaglet that was given birth to among Chicken.

There was this farmer who saw an egg of an Eagle and took it from her mother’s nest and put it together with the eggs of his own Chicken.

Over the few weeks the Eaglet’s egg hatched with that of the Chicken and so it grew among the Chicken – It pecked the floor and behaved just like the Chicken.

One day, the Eaglet spot an Eagle up in the sky and looked at the Eagle and looked at itself and have this idea that he looks more of what he sees in the sky than the Chicken roaming about on the floor.

He look more of what he sees in the air than the ones he is roaming around on the floor with.

So he kept on like that.

One Particular day, the Eaglet decided to take a leap and said: “If I look more of what I see in the air, that means I can actually fly as high as that.

He spreads his wing and began to fly and it flew up and up in the sky to catch up with other Eagle in the air and forever it left the den of the Chicken who couldn’t fly too high.

First of all, the day the Eaglet flew was not that day it received a Particular ability to fly that he did not have before. But that the eyes of the Eaglet was opened to see what it had all along, who he was all along and that stirred the Eaglet up to live the kind of life that it was meant to live.

That means what suddenly happened to the Eaglet was Revelation.

All along, what the Eaglet has been exposed to had created limitation in its mind and life.

But when it saw its “True Potentials”, what he could be and what it could do, it changed the life of the Eaglet forever.

Now, I said that to show us somehing vey Paramount in the Word of God: You see, everytime a Believer is stuck at any Point of the Manifestations of the Potential of God that is available to him and for his life something Paramount is wrong.

This Believer needs to see what immense Potentials that the Lord had put inside of him.

I will say it like his – The Lord will not instruct you to fly if He had not empowered you to do what He asked you to do.

Phillemon 1:6 says: “The communication of your Faith will become effectual by the acknowledging of every Good thing which in you in Christ Jesus”.

The Word “Acknowledge” here means to have full Precise accurate knowledge of every Good things which is in you in Christ.

It reminds me that there are Good things in me – Hallelujah!

There are certain things already in me by virtue of the fact that I am in Christ Jesus.

I want to show us something – One very important belief that will aid and enhance our capacity to fly.

In that sense, what it means for me to fly is: The ability for me to manifest the Supernatural Abilities of God that is already available in us and to us.

The Bible says in the Book of John 3:3 – “Verily, Verily; i say unto you, except a man be Born Again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

And Nicodemus said: Will a man go to his mother’s womb and be Born Again?

Jesus said that: Except a man be Born of water and Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. He that is born of flesh is flesh, he that is born of Spirit is Spirit”.

In John 3:8; the Bible says: “The wind bloweh where it Pleases and no man knoweth where it comes or goeth; so is a man born of Spirit”.

Praise God – Hallelujah!

So the Bible says that: You are born of the Spirit.

In John 7:37; the Bible says: On the Last Day of the feast, Jesus said: If any man is thirsty, let him come to me, as the Scriptures has said that out of your belly will flow rivers of the Living Water.

He spoke of the Spirit that those who believe in Him will receive.

That means that if a man believe the Gospel; he will receive of the Spirit.

To receive of the Spirit now is to be Born of the Spirit. –

John 14: 16 –
“And I will Pray the Father that He shall give you another Comforter that He may abide with you forever, even the spirit of truth”.

Now, that means that the Comforter is the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him not. But ye know Him for He dwell in you and shall be in you.

Glory to God.

Jesus was talking to His Disciples and said that: I’m going to give you another Comforter and He explained the Comforter as the Spirit of Truth and goes ahead to tell them that He is currently with you and dwells with you and shall now be in you.

The question now is that: Who dwells with them?

Jesus was referring to Himself as the one that dwells with them.

John 1:14 says: And the Word became flesh and dwelth among us and we behold His Glory as the Glory of the Father full of Grace and Truth”.

Jesus is the one that dwells with them.

He now says: He that dwells with you shall now be in you.

That means that when He introduced to them the concept of the Holy Spirit dwelling in them, He went ahead to remind them that the same One who is with them, that is He, Himself, is the same One who is in them.

That means that the Holy Spirit in the Believer is Christ in the Believer.

Or you can say, Christ in us is the Spirit in us.

Hallelujah!

Jesus said and that day, you may know that I am in the Father and you in me and I in you.

So, the Holy Spirit given to me when I became Born Again is Jesus now living in me.

When we got Born Again, we received the Holy Spirit into our hearts as Believers.

Hallelujah!

That is what the Bible refers to as to be Born of the Spirit.

Now, I see what it says in verse 12 of John 14 – John 14:12 says: Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believe on Me.

We have established that he that believes on Him will receive the Spirit.

So here it says: He that believes on me, the works that I do now

What is Jesus referring to? – The works that He did .

In Mathew 4:23, Jesus went everywhere – He healed the sick, taught the Gospel, cast out devil.

Acts 10:38; the Bible says: “How God annointed Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and Power who went about doing Good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him”.

So we see the works of Jesus – We see what Jesus was doing.

Now, here, Jesus said: “The works that I do, you will do also, because you believe on me”.

He goes ahead to say that Greater Works than these shall you do because I go to my Father.

So what happened when Jesus went to His Father?

He says: “I will Pray the Father and He will give you another Comforter, the Spirit of Truth”.

That means that when Jesus was raised up to Heaven, He gave us the Spirit and says: “The works that I do so shall you do”.

The same works that Jesus did, because in His resurrection, Jesus did not say goodbye. He gave us His Spirit, and His Spirit is Christ in us.

So, what we have now is that Christ dwells in us today to continue His works.

When Jesus left the world Physically, He multiplied Himself among the Believers by the indwelling of the Spirit so that the same works that Jesus did on the face of the Earth, those of us who now believe the Gospel can go on and do the same thing that He did.

In John 16:7; Jesus says: “It is to your advantage that I go away.

Why? – Because I will give you the Spirit.

I always like to let Believers see that the Holy Spirit is my advantage.

Say that with me: “The Holy Spirit is my advantage”.

So, if we have a Prophetic Word in the Season which says that: “IT IS TIME TO FLY”; I know the advantage I have.

That means that: I know the ability I have, I know the capacity I have to do what God asks me to do.

I HAVE THE HOLY GHOST IN ME.

The Holy Spirit is God’s advantage in me.

John 12: 24 – This will bless you. Glory be to God.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it abides alone. But if it falls to the ground and dies, it brings out much fruit”.

Alright, Jesus here, is referring to His death and resurrection.

Now, if you are an Agriculture student, you can relate to this – Let’s say you Plant a grain of maize.

As long as it stays alone, it is not going to bring fruit, even though all the ability to grow is in it. But as soon as you Plant the maize, it germinates and brings out a whole stub of corn that have multiple fruits in it.

Now, the Good News is that: What is Planted is what comes up. What is Planted is what is harvested.

Such that if you were to do a Chemical Analysis on the grain that was Planted, when that grain Produces and reproduces a stub of corn, you will not really need to do another test because you can be so sure that all of the Properties that was Planted was what comes up.

Another one is this – If I were to pick that stub of corn now, and I wanted to check all the Properties of what is contained in that corn, I won’t need to check all over one hundred grains of corn, I will only need to pick one and check it. I will know what is in every corn.

So, what was Jesus teaching in John 12.

He says: “When I fall to the ground and die – Hallelujah.

When I’m going to be raised up, I’m going to be raised up with many other People who are going to carry the same ability, same Properties, same life.

That means that when I die, the life that I gave up shall be replicated in many sons. So that what is going to come up at that resurrection is going to carry the same essence of life as what was Planted.

Hallelujah!

So, when Jesus died and resurrected – In
Hebrews 2; the Bible says: He brought many sons to Glory.

So, all you need to do is to study Jesus.

When you study Jesus, the same life, and Property you find in Jesus; you will find in all the sons that are resurrected with Him.

So, when I study the Scriptures, I’m seeing Jesus.

That study of Jesus is showing me who I am – Because now, the same life, the ability, Glory and essence that is in Jesus is now in me because I believe the Gospel.

Hallelujah!

So at the resurrection of Jesus, He gave His own life to us.

If you study Jesus, you will know who we are.

A study of God’s Word should lead us to see and know Jesus but inadvertently, it will lead us to see and know ourselves.

The story of the Eagle that I shared with you is: All through the Months and weeks when the Eagle walked upon the Earth like the chicken, it did not see who it really was. But the day the eyes of the Eagle opened to see who it really was, its life changed.

The day your eyes are open to see who you really are in Jesus, it is going to change your life forever because suddenly you are going to see all that God has made of you.

1John 4:17; the Bible says: “As He is, so are we in the world”.

Hallelujah!

The Bible says in Hebrews – God, what is man that You are mindful of him and the son of man that you made him a ruler over the works of your hand.

Even though we have not yet seen all that He is; we have seen Jesus.

This means that: Even though we have not seen all the ability that we have, we have seen Jesus, we can see all that God has Placed us over.

When we see all that God has Placed Jesus over, we see what God has Placed us over.

So, what must I do as a Believer to get to that Point where I begin to walk in the Supernatural Ability of God that He gave to me?

Hallelujah – Thank You Lord!

James 1:22 says: “But be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only deceiving themselves. If anyone be a doer of the Word and not a hearer, he is like a man that beholds his Natural Self in a Mirror.

Verse 24 – He beholds himself (That means: The mirror shows him himself, the mirror shows him who he is) – He beholds himself, goes away and straight away forgets what manner of man he was.

The mirror is spposed to show you what manner of man you are.

Glory to God – Hallelujah!

The mirror is supposed to show us what kind of man God made us of.

And what did He call that mirror – Verse 25 says: And whoso looked into the Perfect Law of Liberty.

The Word of God is supposed to show me the manner of man I am.

So, the man that is not a doer of the Word, the man that is not flying, the man that is not living in the Potentials that God has put in him when he believes the Gospel; is a man who looks at the word and he cannot Practise it.

Verse 25 says: Whoso looketh at the Law of Liberty and continues to look at it, meditate and feed on the Word, think upon the Word. That man is not a “Forgetful Hearer”.

The “Forgetful Hearer” looks at himself in the Word of God and leaves and forgets about it.

There are certain People in this world, Believers – God bless their hearts.

They see something in God’s Word and as soon as they get out of that Place, the circumstances of life that surrounds them made them forget who they are.

For example: They look in God’s Word and see their victory in Christ.

1John 4:4 says: “You are of God, little children, for ye have overcome them. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world”.

And they will shout Glory to God. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

But when they get out of that Place, the circumstances around them come and beats them and they forgets what kind of man they are.

But He says the doer of the Word continues to look.

That means that when cicumstances comes and tries to overwhelm him, instead of chickening out, he is going to rise up in Victory and say I am of God, I am His child, greater is He that is in me than he that is in yhe world.

And he is going to rise up in Victory and he is going to remember what the Bible says that: That is the Victory that overcometh the world even our Faith.

He is going to look and continue to look.

He is not going to be a “Forgetful Hearer” but the doer of the Word.

The Bible says this man will be blessed in all that he does.

The Word of God will show you what manner of man you are. What kind of man you are – The bible calls us righteous.

Glory to God!

2 Corinthians 5: 21 says: “He made He who no know sin to become sin for us that we might become the righteousness in Him”.

And I’m seeing God’s Word; I am seeing who I am through the Word of God.

Glory to God – Hallelujah!

We need Power to soar and do the impossible in this world.

Ephesians 1:19 says: “That we may know the exceeding greatness of His Power towards us like the works of His Mighty Strength that He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead”.

Hallelujah!

I submit to you that there is no other Place in the Scriptures where Power was described with such a great concentration like this Scriptures.

He calls it the exceeding Greatness of His Power towards the Believers.

So, it shows you that kind of Power – It says that kind of Power is like the Mighty Strength He exerted when He raised Jesus from the dead and sat Him at His own right hand in Heavenly Places far above Principalities and Power and Might and Dominion and every name that is made not only in this world but which is to come and He has put everything under His feet and He has given Him to be head over all things to the Church which is His Body, the fullness of Him that fill us in all.

This Scriptures shows you that: The same Power that was exerted, the same concentration of Power that was exerted when Jesus was raised up from the dead, that is the same Power that is working for you, towards you.

Hallelujah!

1. That means that all of God’s Power that was demonstrated in raising Jesus from the dead, has now been given to the Church.
2. That means that when I see Jesus, and I see all He overcame, I see all that Jesus has done for me, I see all that God has done for me.

Ephesians 3:20 says: “God is able to do exceedingly above all that we can ask or think according to the Power that worketh in us”.

He goes ahead to show us that: All that Power is in you.

Glory to God!

So what do I do?

1. Keep that consciousness – All of God’s Power is for me, all of God’s Ability is for me.

Let me tell you something: Whenever we ask outside the expectation of God for us, it is because we have forgotten who we are.or what manner of man we are.

I remembered the story I heard from daddy G.O. (Pastor E.A Adeboye) many years ago in one of his Messages I was listening to.

He said he was Praying for the Church for the Supernatural Power of God. He said he had gone on three (3) days Fasting.

I heard that Message many years ago anyway.

On the third (3rd) day, he said the Lord spoke to him – Look at the Book of Acts 1:8.

And the Lord said what is written there and he said: “You will receive Power when the Holy Ghost come upon you”.

And He said – Have you been baptised in the Holy Ghost?

And he said – Yes.

That means you already have Power.

And he said if I have Power, I’m not seeing it.

And God said: What you see here, go and start using it.

It means all the while, Power had been availble to him and God said go on and start using what you have.

Praise God!

Many a times, what we need like the Eagle is to see what manner of man we are and then we take off from there.

2. Give yourself to Prayer.

What does Prayer do?

James 5:16 says: “The effectual fervent Prayer of a Righteous man availeth much”.

I like it the way the Amplified Version says: “The effectual heartfelt continued Prayer of a Righteous man makes tremendous Power available dynamic in his working”.

Prayer gives direction to the Power of God.

Everywhere you find the move of Power of God on Earth today, there are men who have Prayed and agreed.

Hallelujah!

This great Camp City where we are seated on today is the Product of first of all – The Prayer of a man.

When God wants to do a thing on Earth, He seeks for men who will Pray.

There is a prophetic Word of God for us over this Church in this Season – It is that: “IT IS TIME TO FLY”.

… And we are going to bring that for God on Earth today.

We are going to do it over much labour of Prayer.

I close with this story by daddy G.O. (Pastor E.A. Adeboye) when he said – I heard this Preaching sometimes ago.

He said: Anytime God wants to launch him to a New Realm, there are two (2) things he observed in his life:

1. He gives more than he normally does and
2. He Prays more than he normally does.

I’m here to remind you if you are going to key into this Season; you have the Power of God in you and you wil give direction to it as we Pray.

The more we Pray, the more we see the move of God on Earth and the more the ability of Spirit that is manifested in us.

Bow down your heads and Pray with me.

CLOSING PRAYER

Pray in this Season and in this Night – There is a fresh ability and anointing of God upon my life to Pray like I have never done before.

To give direction to the Power of God like I have never done before.

And I see myself walking in the ability of God’s Spirit again and again till the Earth is covered with the Glory of God.

Hallelujah!

Thank you Lord; Thank you Lord.
