OPENING PRAYER
Father Almighty, we want to bless Your Holy Name – Thank You very, very much for the Privilege of being “Children of the Living God”. We Thank You because our God lives forever.
We give You all the Glory and Honour for keeping us Your children alive till this moment – Please, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
Almighty God, we Pray that even as Your Words will be going out forth this very day: To everyone who is in form of any sickness or disease; Prove to them that You are “The Ressurection and Life” – Heal them all!
All those who might be in any form of bondage; set them free Oh Lord.
At the end of it all; let Your Name be Glorified again.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

We started a Series Last Sunday (13th December, 2020) on “Going Higher – Part 1”.

And we took our Bible Text from 1 Kings 17:1.
“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I Stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these Years but according to my word”.
We said that if we are looking for someone as an example of “Going Higher”; of a Life that is steadily getting better and better, it is Elijah because not only did he start from nothing; his life grew steadily until even at the very last moment that he Practically flew to Heaven without dying.
And then we said that one of the reasons why we said we enjoyed studying him; why we enjoyed learning so much from him is because he was a NOBODY – We were just told that: Elijah the Tishbite who was of the inhabitants of Gilead. That even his father’s name was never mentioned.
So, we found out that Elijah based on that alone – Where you start does not necessarily determine where you will end.
But today, we want to Proceed a little further from the Statement he made – He said to Ahab: As the Lord God of Israel lives. He said before whom I Stand.
But before we even go to: Before whom I Stand; which we will look at Next Sunday by the Grace of God; we want to look at the fact that he says: “God Lives”.
You see when we talk of you getting your life better, of you going Higher day-by-day – And the Almighty God is going to say Amen to that for you (Amen); you can only say this by Faith.
You can only say this by Faith because only God knows tomorrow
According to Revelations 1:8; it says: He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending.
… He is the One who knows tomorrow!
According to Isaiah 46: 9-10; it is only God who can declare the End from the Beginning.
So, when you are saying that my tomorrow is going to be alright; I’m going to go Higher day-by-day; things are going to improve for me – You are speaking by Faith because Only God knows tomorrow!
That is why God Himself said in Habakkuk 2:4 – The Just shall live by Faith.
I think I have told you before that He said: The Just shall live by Faith four (4) times in the Bible to show you how important it is that you are going to live by Faith.
DMC NOTES: The four (4) Places in the Bible we can see: “The Just shall live by Faith” are: Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38 – All in the King James Version (KJV) of the Scriptures.
Now, the root or the Foundation on which you can Place your Faith is the fact that: “God Lives”.
Hebrews 11:6 says: Without Faith, it is impossible to Please God.
… So, you need Faith seriously.
And then, it goes on to say: He who comes to God must believe that He is.
Meaning: He is Alive!
So, the Foundation for your Faith; the Foundation that your tomorrow is going to be alright is based on the fact that God lives.
For example: There was a Man in the Bible called Job.
Things went completely wrong for him – He lost all his children, he lost all his wealth, he lost his health, things got so bad that even his wife said to him: Curse God and die so that I can remarry because there is No Hope for you.
NOTE: I’m the one (Daddy GO) who added: “So that I can remarry” – But it is implied!
When Job was at the “Lowest Ebb” of his life; the reason why he said that: I’m not going to die, I’m not going to Perish, my future will be alright is because of a Statement he made in Job 19: 25-27 – He said: “I know that my Redeemer Lives”!
Oh, he said: It does not matter what is happening now; I know that my Redeemer is alive and one day; inspite of everything that is happening to me now; all will still be well.
And you know that according to Job 42: 12-17; not only was Job healed; the tides turned dramatically for him that the Bible said that the Latter end of Job was far, far better than his beginning.
… He got a “Double” of everything that he lost and then God granted him several more years to live to enjoy his Latter days.
If the end of Job was better; I decree to all of you listening to me today or reading now on the Label of DMC: Your Latter days will be far, far more Glorious than you are now in Jesus Name – Amen.
Therefore; if we want to say that our tomorrow will be alright; we will go Higher and Higher; what we are actually saying is that: Our Faith will increase steadily, that our Faith is going to increase everyday.
Because one thing about Faith is that it can increase:
- In Mark 4:35-41; the Bible says that the Lord said to the Disciples: Why is it that you have “No Faith”
… That is the level they started their Journey – The level of “No Faith” at all.
- By the time we get to Matthew 6:30; the Lord said: O ye of “Little Faith”.
… Now, it is no longer “No Faith”; it is now that the Faith is Little.
- By the time we now get to Matthew 17:14-20; He was telling them: Yes, your Faith is Little but you know what? — Even the Faith that is the size of a Mustard Seed can still do something marvelous. It can still move Mountains.
So, Faith can grow from “No Faith” to “Little Faith” – Afterall, half a bread is better than nothing.
- And then when we now look at the Book of Romans 14:1; the Bible talked about Faith that is weak.
… It is not that there is “No Faith” at all; it’s Little and Weak.
- But the Bible says that, that Faith that is weak can grow and become “Strong Faith”.
How do we know that?
Oh, in Romans 4:16-21; He was talking about Abraham and then said: He was Strong in Faith.
But Abraham didn’t start up with “Strong Faith” – If you read Genesis 17: 15-18; when God spoke to him about him still having a son at the age of one hundred (100), he laughed at God.
That wasn’t “Strong Faith” but at the end of his life; the story is or the Testimony is: He was Strong in Faith.
That means that “Weak Faith” can grow to become “Strong Faith”.
- And then Faith can keep growing even from “Great Faith” like we have in Matthew 15:21-28 – The case of a woman who needed help for her daughter and the Lord called her a dog. And she insisted that: Dog or no dog, I must get my Miracle.
The Lord turned and said: Woman, Great is thy Faith.
- And “Great Faith” can still grow to a Faith that is “Unique” – Not just “Great” but “Uniquely Great Faith” – Like the case in Matthew 8:5-10.
Where the Centurion said to the Lord: You don’t have to come to my house – All you have to do is to send the Word.
- But then the Bible tells us in 2 Thessalonians 1:3 that it is Possible for Faith to grow Exceedingly.
That’s what you found out that the Disciples cried to the Lord in Luke 17:5 – Lord Please increase our Faith.
Your future can become tremendously better than it is now – And in Jesus Name, it will be (Amen).But what you have to work upon is your Faith.
Your Faith must grow and the Foundation for Faith growing is that God is Alive.
So today; we want to talk about: How can my Faith grow?
Because if my Faith grows; my future will grow Higher and Higher both Physically, Materially and Spiritually.
Romans 12:3 tells us that the day you become Born Again; God gives you “A Measure of Faith”.
You already have Faith – The one He gave to everyone when you got Born Again – Infact the Bible calls it: “The Measure of Faith”.
There is a certain amount of Faith that He measures out to every child of God.
Because Ephesians 2:8 says: By Grace you are saved through Faith.
In other words, if there is no “Measure of that Faith”; there won’t be Salvation.
So, you are saved and so you already have what the Bible called “The Measure of Faith”.
So, for everybody who is a child of God; there is a “Measure of Faith” given to us.
The Problem then between those who got Born Again and grew and those who got Born Again and their Faith remains Stagnant is simply that they didn’t do something – Probably they didn’t know how to grow their Faith.
That is what we want to do in the next few minutes.
Romans 10:17 tells us that the first (1st) way your Faith can grow – It is by “Hearing the Word of God”.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God.
You hear the Word of God and your Faith will begin to grow.
Some People wondered: Why do we keep on coming to Fellowship? Why do we keep on coming to Church? Why do we keep on listening to Sermons? Why do we keep on reading the Bible?
… So that our Faith can grow!
How does your Faith growing lead to a Glorious tomorrow?
Psalms 119:130 says: The entrance of His Words giveth Light and gives Understanding to the Simple.
The more the Words comes in; the more you have; the more Understanding you get.
And when Understanding comes and Light comes; it’s like somebody who is travelling in a car at night.
If the Light is bright; he can move fast; if the car’s headlamp should get damaged and the Light dim; he can only move slowly. If the Light goes out; he has to stop.
And Proverbs 4:18 says: The Path of the righteous is a Shinning Light Getting Brighter and Brighter unto the Perfect Day.
So, what do do for my Faith to grow?
- I Study the Word.
2 Timothy 2:15 says: Study to show yourself approved unto God
I attend Sunday School, I attend Bible Study, I listen to Sermon – I Study the Word.
- I memorise the Word.
Psalms 119:11 says: Your Words have I kept in my heart – Keeping in your heart means you memorise.
One little child says: Daddy how come you know the Bible so much?
I said: Memorise.
When I got Born Again; I memorise just one (1) Verse Per week. In the Sunday School Pamphlet, there is a Memory Verse for the week.
He said: How does that one help?
… One (1) Memory Verse in a week means fifty two (52) Memory Verses in a Year.
And I have been Born Again since 1973 – Count the number of Years.
… Just one little bit every week and then Year rolls after Year, after Years.
- But it is not enough of that; I will meditate on the Word of God.
As I learnt it, I memorise it, I meditate it – I turned it over just like a cow will eat grass in a hurry and then go and lay down and then chew the grass. It brings the food out again and now begins to go over it gently.
… I meditate on the Word.
Psalms 1:1-3 tells us that the one who is going to be Blessed must Meditate on the Word of God day and night.
- And then I apply the Word.
I Study the Word, I memorise it, I meditate on it and then I apply it.
James 1:22-25 says clearly that: We must not just be Hearers of the Word only; we must be Doers.
And it says that if you are a Doer of the Word; it then says in Verse 25 that you will be Blessed indeed.
In other words; the more I apply the Word; the more I became Blessed.
Let me give you an example of meditating on the Word of God: Studying the Word of God, seeing things for myself that is there in the Word of God that reading it casually might not show me.
In John 10:10 for instance; here the Lord Jesus Christ Promised – He said: I have come that you might have Life and have it more Abundantly.
Before then; it started by saying: The thief comes to steal, to kill and to destroy.
What has he come to steal?
The Word of God of course!
The moment I heard it; he knows what that Word will do in my Life. So, he will want to make me forget it quickly.
He (The devil) wants to steal it and that is why I memorise it.
The one that I memorise; he can’t steal.
And if he can steal the Word; then he can go ahead to kill and destroy.
But the Lord said that: I have come that you might have Life and you can have it “More Abundantly”.
So, I said: Alright, He wants me to have Life; how then do I have Life?
John 1:4 says: In Him (Jesus Christ) is Life.
So, I must hold on to Jesus Christ – Nothing is going to take Jesus Christ from me.
But it didn’t stop there; it says: Abundant Life.
John 15:5; it said: If you will abide with Me and my Word abide in you; then you will bring forth much fruit. But without Me, you can do nothing.
If I abide in Jesus Christ – Which will guarantee me Life; I don’t let go of Him and His Words abides in me – Like I told you, I will keep on memorising His Words as I’m even doing so now; then I will bring forth much fruits and not Ordinary fruits.
When People ask: What is the secret of your Success in the future?
You will tell them: I’m abiding in Jesus Christ and His Words is abiding in me.
But it didn’t stop there – He didn’t say that I will have Life and Abundant Life alone; He said: Life More Abundantly.
He said that I can still grow beyond Abundant Life.
And you know what?
In Psalms 68:19; He says: God daily loads us with benefits.
… He wants to give you the Blessings by Loads!
You can take several other examples of Verse to memorise.
And suddenly, you will discover that all those who claimed that if you Prosper; you won’t go to Heaven – I think they missed it
Because if you Study the Word of God by yourself; the Bible says clearly in 1 Timothy 6:10 – It said: The Love of money is the root of all evil.
… The Love of money and not money.
God wants you to Prosper!
Why? – Because the Bible says it clearly in Proverbs 10:15 that: The destruction of the Poor is their Poverty.
… That’s in the Bible – But some People won’t want you to discovered that.
So, those who want you to remain Poor and dies Poor are simply saying that: We will rejoice at your destruction.
And the devil is a liar – That is why everyone of my children in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; you are going to Prosper – Amen.
You can’t be a Blessing unless you are Blessed – It is what a man has that he can give.
… You cannot help the Needy if you yourself you are Needy.
If you have nothing to eat; how are you going to feed the Poor?
You will Prosper – Amen and you will get Higher and Higher – Amen.
And then talking about Meditating on the Word of God; you will find that a lot of People will tell you the Story in Luke 16:19-31 – Of the Rich Man and the Poor Lazarus.
They will say that the Rich Man enjoyed his Life and went to Hell – Luke 16:19-21. And that Lazarus, the Poor fellow with sores died and went to Abraham’s Bossom.
So, they concluded by saying that: If you are rich, you are likely to go to Hell; and if you are Poor, you are likely to make it to Heaven.
… That is the devil’s lie – That is not in the Story.
The Rich Man did not go to Hell because he was rich; Lazarus did not go to Heaven because he was Poor.
Why did the Rich Man go to Hell?
Study that Passage very well – When he was thirsty and asked that God will allow him to go and talk to his Brethrens so that they won’t come and join him where he was.
The Almighty God says: If they don’t listen to the Prophets who were with them; they will end up where you are.
Meaning what?
You didn’t listen to the Prophet that is why you are here!
The Word of God is clear – You read John 3:1-16; the Almighty God tells us that a very “Wealthy Man” – (You can’t be a Poor Man and be a Ruler among the Jews); came to Jesus Christ at night and said: I want to know the Way to Heaven.
Jesus Christ told him what he must do – You must be Born Again.
And it doesn’t matter whether you are Rich or you are Poor; If you are not Born Again, you will go to Hell.
You can be the “Richest Man” on Earth and go to Heaven if you are Born Again.
You can be the “Poorest Man” and yet go to Hell if you refused to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.
If you are not Born Again; you are not going to Heaven.
Poverty is not a Passport to Heaven; Wealth is not a Passport to Hell!
He said in that John 3:16 – God so loved the world (Rich or Poor) that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not Perish but have Everlasting Life.
… Whosoever applies to the Rich as well as to the Poor!
And then Proverbs 10:22 stated clearly: The Blessings of the Lord maketh Rich and added No Sorrow.
If the Blessings that makes rich is a curse then it would have added sorrow to it.
You must be convinced beyond all doubts through the Word of God; not through the “Philosophy of Men” that if your future is Glorious; if God Prospers you and loads you with Blessings so that you have not just Abundant Life but Life “More Abundantly” – As long as you are a “True Child” of the Living God; you will still be welcome in Heaven.
Now what is the Second Way by which your Faith can grow?
This is found in Jude 1:20 – It said: But you Beloveth; building up your Faith by Praying in the Holy Ghost.
You want your Faith to grow – In addition to studying the Word of God; you must be baptized in the Holy Spirit so that you can Pray in the Holy Spirit.
Why? – 1 Corithians 14:14-15 says that each time that you are Praying in the Holy Spirit; you are Praying in Faith because you do not understand what you are saying.
When you are Praying in the Holy Spirit: You are demonstrating your Faith; you are exercising your Faith.
Physical Muscles grows by exercise; “Spiritual Muscles” which is Faith grows by Praying in the Holy Ghost.
It will amaze you how many Christians including those who says that they are Pentecostals don’t Pray regularly in the Holy Ghost.
And because they don’t Pray regularly in the Holy Ghost; their Faith remains Stagnant.
The more you Pray in the Holy Spirit, the Higher your Faith will become. And the Higher your Faith becomes, the Greater your future will be.
Which brings me to the Conclusion: Because I will want those of you who are yet to be baptized in the Holy Spirit to get your Baptism today.
And those of you who has been baptized in the Holy Spirit who have not been exercising your Faith will begin to Pray more and more in the Holy Spirit.
We know how essential Praying in the Holy Spirit is by the fact that the devil attacks that aspect of your Christianity – Each time you are Praying in the Holy Spirit; some People will begin to mock you.
So, some of you don’t want to Pray in the Holy Spirit anymore – You want to Pray in a way that is acceptable.
In Acts 2: 37-39; on the Day of Pentecost when Peter Preached a “Great Sermon” after he got baptized in the Holy Spirit – The People came to him and say: Sir, what must we do?
And he laid it out to them:
- Repent – That is another way of saying: Be Born Again.
- Be Baptized in Water.
- You can then received the Holy Spirit.
If you have been listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC and you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ – That is the first (1st) Step: Give your Life to Jesus Christ.
You have been Born Again – Congratulations. The next step is: Be Baptized.
And you know what? – The Baptism I’m talking about must be like that of Jesus Christ.
Baptise from the original Greek word BAPTIZO..
BAPTIZO means “Immersed in Water”.
That is the kind of Baptism that I’m talking about – Not Sprinkling Water on you. You have to go inside the water and come out.
… Serious Baptism – Go deep down into the water and then come out again.
DMC NOTES: Baptists argue that the Greek word βαπτίζω (BAPTIZO) originally meant “to immerse”. They interpret some Biblical Passages concerning baptism as requiring submersion of the body in water. They also state that only submersion reflects the Symbolic significance of being “buried” and “raised” with Christ.
And then you get the Baptism in the Holy Spirit because He says that it is available to you and all those who will ever believed.
You say: Sir, how does this speaking in tongues, this Baptism in the Holy Spirit; how does it lead me to a Higher Level on a daily basis?
Get your Bible; Sit down, begin to Study the Acts of Apostles and take just the example of Peter alone.
On the Day of Pentecost, he got Baptized in the Holy Spirit; he Preached one Sermon and won three thousand (3,000) Souls.
God has Promised him that your future will be Glorious – You will be Fishing for Men instead of fish.
He believed that but nothing happened until he got Baptized in the Holy Spirit.
It wasn’t long after that, that he began to make the lame to walk.
Shortly after that; he was really Baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Begin reading – Start from Acts 2; move to Acts 3 – He makes the lame to walk; move to Acts 4 – It was real Baptism in the Holy Spirit; move to Acts 5 – By the end of the Chapter; after the Second (2nd) Baptism in the Holy Spirit; he was now healing the sick with his Shadow.
… And he kept on growing and growing.
So, I am encouraging all of you listening to me today or reading now on the Label of DMC: Your Future will be Glorious based on your Faith!
… Faith comes by hearing; hearing by the Word of God!
So, you study the Word, you memorise the Word, you meditate on the Word, you apply the Word and get Baptized in the Holy Spirit and then begin to speak in tongues as often as Possible.
Before very long; you will discovered that things are getting better and better and better for you – Amen.
ALTAR CALL
And for those of you who has not even started the Journey; you can begin right away as you surrender your Life to Jesus Christ and after that; I will encourage you that within about five (5) minutes distance from where you live; you will find The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – Go there; tell the Pastor that I sent you; tell him that you want to be Baptized in Water.
He will help you – You will get the Baptism in Water and then after that, you can cry to the Almighty God for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; if you will bow your heads now; I will Pray with you and the Almighty God will save your Souls.
Cry to Him and say: Lord, I’m repenting of my sins, I want to be one of your children; I want to begin my journey to Greatness – Save my Soul today and I will serve you for the rest of my Life.
Talk to Him now and I will Pray with you
Thank You my Father.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER
So, my Father and my God; I want to Thank You once again for Your Words.
I want to give You all the Glory and Honour for all those who has heard Your Words.
I want to Thank You because I know that You are alive and because You are alive, we have the Foundation Lord for our Faith.
As many of these People who has come to You; Please Lord receive them; save their Souls, let Your Blood wash them clean and let them become Members of the Family of God.
And from now on; as they cry to You for anything; Please answer them by Fire.
And I’m Praying Lord God Almighty that as soon as they get Baptized by Water; as they cry to You for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit; You answer them speedily in Jesus Name.
Thank You my Father.
As for Your children who are already Born Again; Baptized in Water who are not yet Baptized in the Holy Spirit; as they cry to You today; Please release to them the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
As for those who are already Baptized in the Holy Spirit but who has not been exercising that Muscle – The Spiritual Muscle called Faith – As they begin to Pray more and more in the Holy Spirit; Lord let their Faith grow Exceedingly and let them begin to move Mountains so that very soon Lord; they will Testify: I am going Higher day-by-day.
So, let it be Oh Lord.
For in Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
Well, those of you who has just given your Life to Jesus Christ; Please follow the Instructions I have given you – Contact me as soon as Possible and I will be Praying for you.
And like I said: Go to any Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Parishes – There is always one near you and go and talk tomorrow the Pastor there. Tell him or her you want to be Water Baptized and he or she will guide you on what to do
God Bless you All!
As for those of you who are already children of God; begin like never before begin to Pray in the Holy Spirit and you will see your Faith growing exceedingly.
