OPENING PRAYER

Eternal Rock of Ages, we Worship You: There is None like You, You are the Almighty God – All Power in Heaven and on Earth belongs to You.

You can Do and Undo Oh Father You have the Power to Heal, the Power to Raise the Dead, the Power to say “Just a Word” and Storms will cease. Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name!

We Your children are in one accord Lord and we say: Let this Storm that is going round the whole world cease right now.

We are Praying that very, very soon; the world will be shouting “Praise The Lord” once again.

Thank You Almighty God.

And even as Your Words will be going forth; we Pray that You will lay Your “Mighty Healing Hands” on all those who are sick and Heal them all.

And Please comfort all those who are in sorrow.

And in the Lives of everyone who will be listening to us today or reading now on the Label of DMC; Lord God Almighty, let there be “No More Sorrow”.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Our Bible Text remains the same as we continue with the Series: LOCKDOWN TO LEAPING UP – PART 2

And the Bible Text is found in Acts of the Apostles Chapter 3 and I’m reading from Verses 1 to 8 (Acts 3: 1-8).

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the Temple at the Hour of Prayer, being the Ninth Hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the Gate of the Temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the Temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the Temple asked an Alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and Gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the Temple, Walking, and Leaping, and Praising God.

1. A Leap at least from our Bible Text is a sudden Upwards Move – That is what a Leap is.

For example: If you sit on a Hot Heater by accident, the way you go up is not going to be gradual – You Leap Up!

For example: In 2 Kings 4: 1-7; when the Creditors came to the Widow to say that if you don’t Pay your debt your children are gone.

Her Journey to the house of Elisha was not a Leisurable one – She moved fast!

2. A Leap could also be a “Violent Pull” Upwards by a Strong Hand.

For example: In Joshua 1: 1-8; when Joshua was told that he was going from being a Servant to a Head of State within a Day – That Upward Movements was not a gradual one – It was a “Sudden Almost Violent” Movements Upwards.

Now, I don’t know which Way God is going to cause you to Leap Up – Whether it is going to be by “Push Upwards” or a “Lift Upwards”. Whichever Method He chooses; my Prayer is that before this Day is out, you would have Leapt Up in Jesus Name – Amen!

Occasionally, a Leap Up could be a matter of “Now or Never”.

A very good example will be found in Matthew 14: 23-32.

The Disciples were in a boat and there was a Storm and the Lord was walking towards them.

When Peter saw Him and he said: If you are the One, ask me to come?

And the Lord says: Come!

He jumped out of the boat and began to walk on water towards Him.

And the Bible says that when he looked round and saw the wind coming; suddenly it occurred to him: What have I done?

And he cried for Help and the Lord lifted Him Up.

If the Lord had waited for him to say “The Lord’s Prayers” – “Our Father who Art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come”.

By the time he gets to: “Lead us Not into Temptations”; he Probably could have been drinking quite an amount of water!

The moment he cried for Help; Help came that lifted him Up above the waves.

I know that there might be one (1) or two (2) People who are in a very Critical Situation right now – Before I finish speaking; in the Name that is above every other names, your Leaping Up will come in Jesus Name – Amen.

Now, if you look at the Story of this Man, the Bible says in Verse 7 that Peter took him by the right hand and lifted him up.

So, his own was an “Upward Leap” brought about by a Lifting by somebody holding him by the hand!

And the Bible says: Immediately, his feet and ankle bones received Strength and he Leaping Up” Stood.

… Take note of the word “STOOD” there!

1. Most times, a Leaping Up begins with a Standing.

Psalms 40: 1-3 says: He brought me out of the Miry Clay and set my feet on the Rock to say.

… First (1st); you Stand!

And when you Stand – Whether you have been sitting down and He yanked you up or you have been lying down and He lifted you up – Usually, it means: You won’t go back down again” – Amen.

In Marks 2: 1-12; when they brought in that Man who was carried in by four (4) People and the Lord said to him: Stand, Take Up your bed and go home.

From that moment, the man ceased to be a burden!

I am decreeing in the Name of the One who called me: Because of the Leaping Up that is going to happen in your Life today; you will never be a burden to anyone again – Amen.

In John 5: 2-9; when the Lord came to that Man who had been lying down by the Pool of Bethesda for thirty eight (38) Years.

The moment He said: Stand Up, Go Home – That Man was never again at the Pool of Bethesda lying down.

… God moved him to a Higher Level!

As the Lord lives: As many of you who are Genuinely children of God and those of you who will become children of God today; you are going to a Higher Level – Amen.

2. Then when the Man Stood; the next thing according to Verse 8 is that: “He Walked”.

Now, Walking means “Making Progress Steadily!

It will interest you to know that: Walking – One step after another; has been found by Scientist to be the best form of Exercise in the world!

Walking – It is not Violent like Jogging or Running; which Probably only the Young ones could do and yet it Produces “Tremendous Results” and it is available to both the Young and the Old.

… Walking means: Making Progress Steadily!

In Genesis 26: 12-14; the Bible said concerning Isaac: The Man wax Great (That was Standing); went forward (That is taking Steps now) and then grew until he became “Very Great”!

… Step by Step by Step!

I am believing the Almighty God for many of you my children (I will love to say I am believing God for all of you); I Pray that your Faith will be able to take it – That by the Next Time I hear concerning you; you would have moved from where you are – Amen. Not only to a Higher Level but Steadily Forward – Amen!

For example: Take David for an example of Walking after Leaping Up.

In 1 Samuel 16: 11-13 – All of a sudden, the boy who was looking after the Sheep and Goat was yanked Upwards and he became a King.

He stood among his Brethren, knelt down infront of the Man of God and the Man of God then Poured Oil on him and say: Hey, Long Live the King!

… That was a “Rapid, Violent Movement” Upwards.

But then he began to move forward – He began walking so that by the time we get to 2 Samuel 2: 1-4; he had become “THE KING OF JUDAH”.

… He started off as a “King at Home”; now he became “The King of a Tribe”.

And the Next Thing we saw in 2 Samuel 5: 1-5; he became “The King of the Whole Nation of Israel”.

… Steadily, moving Forward!

3. And then the Bible says: This man didn’t stop there – He Stood, he Walked, entering with the Disciples into the Temple “Walking and Leaping”.

Oh, this seems that is another kind of Leaping here.

In other words, if the Almighty God is involved with your Leaping Up, the following happens;

I. First (1st), you will Stand.

II. Next, you begin to Walk.

III. And then there will be “Other Leaping”.

For example: Let us take Solomon as an example.

In 1 Kings 1: 5-53 – I am sure that you will enjoy reading it because it is one of the Most Interesting Stories you will find in the Bible.

… It is the Story of how a Nation had three (3) Kings in one (1) Day – It is worth reading!

It was crises that brought Solomon to the Throne – One Prince just decided to declared himself King and then the News came that there is a Prince who had declared himself King.

And David said: Is that so? – They said: Yes.

He said ok, let me make my own the King.

And then all of a sudden – Solomon did not know all what was going on.

All of a sudden, he found himself enthroned, riding in his father’s Limousine (A type of Car) – That is my own interpretations!

“Sudden Upwards Movement” and Solomon Stood.

But he didn’t stop there; he began to Walk – Walk with God!

… You can read 2 Chronicles 1: 6-15.

After God Lifted him Up, after he Stood; he became Wealthy.

And I’m sure that some of you who are listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC; because the Almighty God is going to Lift you Up out of Poverty too – Amen!

And he gave God a thousand (1,000) “Burnt Offerings”.

And the Almighty God looked at him and said: Alright; maybe you are due for another Leaping.

By the time God finished with this boy; the Bible says: Solomon made Gold and Silver just as “Ordinary Stones”.

So, he Leapt further such that by the time you get to 2 Chronicles 7:5; the Bible said that the Next Time that he made an Offering to God – It wasn’t one thousand (1,000) Oxen; it was twenty two thousand (22,000) (And that is quite a Leap!)

And he wasn’t satisfied with that; he added one hundred and twenty thousand (120,000) Sheep – Ah, that is quite a Leap Men!

Which led him to having a Second (2nd) “Divine Visitation” – And it will be Good if you read that one too in 2 Chronicles 7: 11-18.

This time when he had the Second (2nd) “Divine Visitation”; after that “Mighty Leap” from a thousand (1,000) “Burnt Offerings” to twenty two thousand (22,000) Oxen Plus one hundred and twenty thousand (120,000) Sheep; the Almighty God didn’t come to ask him this time: What do you want?

The Almighty God just came to him and said: I have heard your Prayers, I have granted your Requests!

… Boy, stay with Me and there will always be somebody from your Lineage Sitting on the Throne!

A Leap Up could be a “Push Up” or a “Pull Up”.

It will start with Standing, it will be followed by Walking and then it will be followed by “Other Leaping”.

4. And then it will be followed by – If you read that Verse 8: He went with them to the Temple; Walking and Leaping and Praising God.

… It will Cumulate in a “Life of Continuous Praise!- And I liked that one.

You could imagine a man who is forty (40) Years, had been a beggar, tied down to one (1) Spot and then suddenly within one (1) day; everything Changed!

You didn’t have to be there to know that for the rest of his life, he will kept on Praising God!

In Psalms 34: 1-3; David said: I will bless the Lord at all times and His Praise shall continually be in my Mouth.

In Psalms 89:1; David said: I will sing of the Mercies of the Lord forever.

He said: With my mouth will I made known His Faithfulness to All Generations.

Do you know that if the Almighty God looks at you – The “All-Knowing” God and He knows that there is someone in Lockdown eager to tell the whole world about how Good God is; He will break all Rules to reach you and Pull you Up!

Mark 1: 40-45; a Leper came to Him (Jesus Christ) and Worshipped Him.

When you talk about somebody who is Lockdown; the Leper is a Classical Example!

A Leper is supposed to live in the bush – He is not allowed to come into the “Congregation of the People”.

When he is coming; he must ring a bell telling everybody: A Leper is Coming, Get out of the Way!

That is when he is coming to come and pick food from the dustbin.

One day, this Leper says: I am tired of being a beggar, I am tired of being Lockdown in a bush; I am tired of suffering and so he took his life in his hands, came to Jesus Christ and fell on his knees and Worshipped Him.

And said: I know that You have the Power to Lift me Up, to make me Clean.

The Bible says: Even though it is contrary to the Law for the High Priest or the Priest to touch a Leper.

Jesus Christ said: I will and He touched him!

This is one (1) of the interesting Stories in the Bible.

He told him: Keep your mouth shut, don’t tell anyone.

The Leper says: How can I keep quiet after what You have done for me?

There is someone listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC: Nobody will beg you to Witness from now on – Amen; Nobody will ask you to Praise God from now on – Amen.

Infact, what they will be saying is: Hey, take it easy!

And you will be telling them: You don’t know as I know; you didn’t know from where He Picked me Up.

Let me conclude: We will conclude on this Series Next Sunday (28th of June, 2020) by the Grace of God.

You know that David said something in Psalms 30: 11-12.

When you read that Passage; what he is actually saying is that: God is able to turn your “Mourning to Dancing” Provided that at the end of it that you will Praise Him!

He is able to turn your Lockdown to Leaping Up Provided that you will spend the rest of your Life Praising God!

By the Auction of the Holy Spirit; by the Auction of the One who Called me:

I. Even if you are at the “Gate of Death” today; I decree that you Leap Up – Amen.

II. Even if you are in Penury; I decree that you will Leap Up – Amen.

III. Even if Death or Hell is already waiting and saying: Ah, we got this one; I decree that Death and Hell will loose their Hold on you – Amen.

ALTAR CALL

Then of course, the Choice is yours!

Are you going to accept Him as your Lord and Saviour?

Will you be Willing to accept His Help?

Because like the Elders will say: It is the child who lifts up his hands that can be carried.

The Almighty God is Willing to Pick you Up if you are Willing to Lift Up your hands and surrender to Him (God).

And say: Lord I am Willing, be my Saviour, be my Helper, be my Lord.

If there is anyone making that decision all over the world wherever you are listening to me now or Read on the Label of DMC – If you Please bow your heads in Prayers and Lift your hands to the Almighty God and say: I am here; I Need Help. I am tired of being Lockdown – Please Lift me Up so that I can Stand, so that I can Walk, so that I can keep on Leaping. I Promise You that I will Praise You and I will Testify.

… Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God – Ask Him to save your Soul.

And Please the rest of us let us stretch our hands to these Brethren and intercede for them that the Almighty God who saved our Souls will save their Souls also. That the Almighty God will reach down to them and wash their sins away and receive them into the Family of God so that even from this moment onwards; they will move from Lockdown to Leaping Up – Amen.

Let us Pray for them for few more seconds.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

So my Father and my God; I want to bless Your Name once again for Your Words; I want to Thank You for all those who are surrendering their Lives to You now.

I can’t see them but You can see them Lord and You can see into their hearts as many of them that are Genuinely determined to serve You, to follow You, to Witness for You.

Please Lord, reach down to them, save their Souls, forgive their sins, receive them into the Family of God.

I Pray that very, very soon; we will be hearing “Song of Praise” from their mouths too.

And Father in a moment; Your children will be crying unto You Lord saying: Father, in one (1) Way or the Other; either by Pushing me Up or by Lifting me Up this very Day – Let me Leap Up, let me begin to Stand, let me begin to Walk, let me begin to Leap Higher and Higher and let me begin to Praise You for the rest of my Life.

And as they Call on You my Father and my God; grant their Requests.

Let this Day be a Day None of Your children will ever forget.

Thank You my Father and my God; in Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Let someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
