If you are here today and you are Grateful to God that Jesus Christ is no longer in the Grave but He has risen; wherever you are shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

OPENING PRAYER

Father, we Thank You sir – You are Good to us, You are Faithful, You are Powerful and You are Loving.

Father, we say Thank You.

For Your Investments in our lives and for the Salvation that we don’t deserved at all; Father we say Thank You.

For Your Mercy that we don’t deserved but we are enjoying; for Your Grace that we don’t merit that You have extended to us – Father, we say Thank You sir.

Oh Lord, I confesss this Day that I can’t do it without You – There is Nothing any Man of God can do without the God of Man. You are the God of Man, this afternoon my Lord use me.

All Your Children that will say Amen wherever they are, bless them in Jesus Name.

My Father and my Lord, I Pray for these Your Children; any Problem that follows them to this Place, let it receive a Divine Solution in Jesus Name.

And the People who are watching us or reading now on the Label of DMC; my Lord let it well with them in Jesus Name.

At the end, take all the Glory.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

I want to Thank the Almighty God who has made it Possible for you and I to be in this Location today,

And I want to greet Specially our Provincial Pastor, our father-in-the-Lord (DMC NOTES: Pastor Jacob Obaro) and all the Ministers.

I Pray in Jesus Name that the Anointing of the Holy Spirit will never diminish in your Life – Amen!

And all of you, I greet you in Jesus Name – You will never have a “Better Yesterday”; and your tomorrow will be better and not bitter (Amen).

It doesn’t matter the Economy of the Jungle, Lions will never eat Grass!

I Pray for you that your tomorrow will be better – Amen,

The Topic is: “Let There be Light”.

Certain situations are considered Hopeful; some situations are considered Doubtful; some difficult situations are considered Hopeless or Irreversible or Irredeemable or Irreparably or Irreclaimable.

When Jesus, the Light intervenes; even Hopeless situations will be reversed.

So this Evening, God will intervene and your Ugly situations shall be reversed in Jesus Name – Amen!

I want to focus on Genesis 1: 1-4:

1. In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth.
2. And the Earth was without form, and void; and Darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3. And God said, Let there be Light: and there was Light.
4. And God saw the Light, that it was Good: and God divided the Light from the Darkness.

I made some Discoveries from the Passage that I just read to you:

DISVOVERY NO 1: God is the Creator

He formed the Light and Created Darkness.

… So, it was Satan that created Darkness.

Isaiah 45:7 tells me that God formed the Light and Created Darkness.

So, God created both the Light and Darkness!

DISVOVERY NO 2: Light is the Opposite of Darkness.

And so you have to choose one.

Now, between Light and Darkness, which one do you Prefer? – Light, for the DMC Family Members!

DISVOVERY NO 3: Light is Good but Darkness is Bad.

Genesis 1: 4(a) says: And God saw that the Light was Good.

So, if the Light is Good, then it means that Darkness is Bad.

I. One is in Darkness when there is absence of Light – If you are not where Light is; it means that you are in Darkness.

II. One is in Darkness when one lacks Vision – Many eyes look but few eyes see.

In other words, one is in Darkness if one cannot see Physically – Remember the Blind Bartimaeus.

He was in Darkness until Jesus Christ the Light Paid him a visit.

III. One is in Darkness if one is not in Christ because because Jesus is the Light.

IV. One experiences Darkness when it is no longer Daytime but Night time.

John 11:10 says that if a Man walks in the Night, he Stumbles because there is no Light in him.

DISVOVERY NO 4: Light and Darkness they are not Permitted to dwell together.

Because they are not Permitted to dwell together, therefore there must be a Separation.

Genesis 1:4 says that God separated the Light from the Darkness.

2 Corinthians 6:14 says: What Communion does Light has with Darkness?

2 Corinthians 6:17 says: Wherefore, come out from among them and be ye separate saith the Lord and touch not Unclean thing and I will receive you.

DISVOVERY NO 5: It is Possible to move your Cross from Light to Darkness and a Possibility to move your Cross from Darkness to Light.

You know what? Your Location can determine your Allocation.

Where you are can determine what will befall you.

Ephesians 5:8 says: For ye were sometimes Darkness, but now are ye Light in the Lord.

1 Peter 2:9 says: But you are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, an Holy Nation, a Peculiar People; that you shall show forth the Praises of Him who has Called you out of Darkness into His Marvelous Light.

DISVOVERY NO 6: Darkness cannot Overcome Light.

… That is Good News for you!

John 1:5 says: And the Light Shineth in Darkness and Darkness Comprehended it not.

I read Colossians 1:13 – It says: God has delivered us from the Power of Darkness and has Translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son in the Kingdom of Light.

DISVOVERY NO 7: There are Children of Light and many of them are here today! And of course, there are Children of Darkness!

… This is where we want to focus on!

1 Thessalonians 5:5 says: Ye are all Children of Light and the Children of the Day; we are not Children of the Night nor of Darkness.

John 3:20 says: For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Jesus Christ came into this world as Light – John 8:12 is my Witness.

Jesus says that I am the Light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in Darkness.

When you believe or accept Jesus Christ, you will become a Light like Jesus!

… So, Jesus is important here!

Jesus told His Disciples in Matthew 5:14 – He says that I am the Light of the world.

Now, there are some Expectations – God expects certain things from those of us who are the Children of Light:

1. As Children of the Light, we must follow Jesus the Light!

I have said it – Who you follow, determines who follows you.

It is better to be at the back of a Lion than to be infront of a cow!

1 John 8:12 – Jesus says: I am the Light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in Darkness but shall be the Light of Life.

.,. Be a Follower of Jesus!

Many People has come to me in the Past but they can’t come again because I gave them answers they needed.

One came one day and gave me Documents – Landed Properties, Hectares of Land.

He gave it to me and said: Pastor, for Your Ministry – He wanted me to Set Up my own Church but I rejected everything.

Another Person met me – He is a Multibillionare and said if I want to Set Up my own Church, he will give me money to start everything.

He said that I should think about it but I said No, I have Ready-Made answer – I want to remain and die under Authority.

And I said that any Machine that functions Properly; you don’t repair it – Redeem functions Properly.

2. As Children of Light, we must demonstrate Genuine Love to every Individuals.

There must not be Racial Discrimination; there must not be Class Distinction!

1 John 2:9; the Bible says that He that saith is in the Light and hated his brother is in Darkness even until now,

1 John 2:10 says: He that loveth his brother abideth in the Light and there is no occasion of Stumbling in him.

Do you have anyone that you hated? If the answer is Yes, then you are in Darkness until now.

And if you die in that situation, you cannot make it to Heaven!

3, As Children of Light; we must be Watchful, Vigilant and not Compromise.

The world is full of Attractions and Distractions – Most of the worldly Distractions they come in Attractive Packages!

Ladies and Gentlemen; Children of God – You must not Compromise.

A Woman said something: She said that she started well in Life – Maybe at the Age of 25/26; she had her own Company. And she made up her Mind that no Man will ever Sleep with her in the course of doing Business; whether she is looking for Favour or not. And then she maintained it.

If you don’t Stand for something, you will fall for anything.

Luke 11:35 says: Take heeds therefore that the Light in ye be not Darkness.

4. As Children of the Light, we are expected to Shine!

Matthew 5:14 says: Ye are the Light of the world.

Matthew 5:16 says: Let your Light so Shine before Men that they may see your Good works and Glorify your Father who is in Heaven.

We are going to Pray today that God will Polish us the way you Polish your shoes!

When God Polishes you, you will Shine – Shine in your family, Neighbourhood and Church.

5. As Children of the Light, we must walk in the Light.

Ephesians 5:8 says: For ye are sometimes Darkness but now ye are Light in the Lord; therefore walk as Children of Light,

1 John 1:7 says: But if we walk in the Light as ye is in the Light, we have Fellowship one with another and the Blood of Jesus Cleanses us from all sins,

When you accept Jesus; you become Light – Just like that.

Then when you become Light, you are expected to walk in the Light.

And then, your Light must Shine.

Let me tell you this – Condemnation awaits the Children of Darkness!

John 3:19 says: And this is the Condemnation that Light is coming to the world and Men love Darkness than Light because their deeds were evil.

We went to London for Ministrations – As soon as I dropped my bag, I went out to a Place where we usually buy Clothes.

Unfortunately, my Oyinbo (Meaning White Man) friend wasn’t around but I met some of his new Workers – They never knew me and I never knew them.

As soon as I got there, I asked after him and they told me he will resume later.

But because I couldn’t wait, I told them that whenever he comes, Please tell him Johnson came.

I didn’t want to mention Kalejaiye because they will need Incantation before they remember that.

DMC NOTES: Incantation means the use of spell or verbal charms spoken or sung as part of a ritual of magic or simply a written or recited formula of words

As I was about to leave, a lady called me – Sir, I’m very sorry to disturb you. I am from Jamaica but the way I look at you sir, I can see the Glory upon your Life.

Now, I didn’t use a Cross, I didn’t mention Jesus, I didn’t carry the Bible – But she says she could see the Glory of God upon my Life.

She said: Are you a Pastor? And I said Yes.

She said: Sir, do me a favour – Please don’t say No. Pick any item you want here and I will Pay.

Another Lady came out and saw what happened – She begged me to Pick another item too.

That Second Lady called her Parents and each of them told her that I should Pick something too.

So, I ended up Pickimg four (4) items that I never Paid for,

What do they see? – They saw the Glory of God.

Can People look at you and see God’s Glory upon you?

That’s why we say – Dress they way you want to be Asdressed!

Can People look at you – Children of Light, and Pray to be like you?

Is your Life Advertising Christ?

What did Salvation take away from you?

Now, what is it that they are doing as Children of Light that you are not doing now as Children of Light?

The difference must be Clear – You can’t be in the Light and at the same time at the Camp of Darkness. You must come out!

The Bible says that you are the Children of the Light – Let your Light so Shine before Men that they will see your Good works and Glorify your Father who is in Heaven.

I attended a Secondary School and I was shocked because the Born Again Christians there were very Brilliant.

The only Problem that they had was that they didn’t know how to Preach to us – Otherwise, I would have Surrendered my Life to Christ a long time ago.

But rather than Preaching, it was Condemnation:

• Oh, you wear this; you will go to Hell.
• Oh this one, you will go to Hell.

What I want to bring out is – Their Knowledge then was small but today, one of them is a Rector of a Polytechnic and many of them like that.

Academically, they are Shinning and so, why are we not Shinning in our Academics?

We will Settle that with God today – The Unchangeable Changer will intervene in our situations, He will reverse our Ugly situation and then touch us Specially.

And whatever may be your Challenges today, God will intervene and see you through them – Amen.

I have Good News for those of you that are Marriageable but still Single – In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; God will give you the bone of your bone and the flesh of your flesh in Jesus Name – Amen!

Let me Pray this Prayer in Yoruba Language:

Ni oruko Jesu, a o ni si ile wo (In the Name of Jesus, we won’t enter a wrong house)

E o ni gbe egun elegun (You will not carry someone else bone)

In the Name of Jesus – Amen!

How many of you are ready?

You cannot defeat a Full Time Devil with a Part Time Prayer Life!

Are you ready to Pray now?

GENERAL PRAYERS

1. You are going to say: Father, I Thank You for bringing me into your Light. Please take all the Glory in Jesus Name.

In Jesus Name we have given Thanks – Amen!

2. You will say: Father, Please I want to Shine – Please Polish me, Purify me, Rekindle me, Wash me in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

3. You will say: Father, Please destroy all the works of Darkness against me, family, Health, Progress in the Name of Jesus.

In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

4. You will say: Father Please destroy all the Extinguishers that are assigned to put off my Light in the Name of Jesus.

In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

5. Now, God spoke that: Let there be Light and there was Light.

You will say: Father, speak to my Life; let me experience a Better Life from today.

As this Month (March) is ending today, let Sorrow, Failure, Weeping, Problem end in Jesus Name,

By the Time you wake up tomorrow (Month of April), you will wake up with Joy in Jesus Name.

In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

6, Jesus went to the Tomb of Lazarus – He called Lazarus by name.

The Grave heard His Voice and it releases Lazarus immediately.

I want you to cry to God and say: Father, everything that has been holding me down; let it hear Your Voice tonight and let it release me fast.

In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER

I Prophesy in the Name of Jesus; wherever you are and you can hear me or reading now on the Label of DMC; your tomorrow will be better.

Every Problems in your Life, in your Home or Offices; it shall receive a Divine Solution in Jesus Name.

My Father in Heaven will Command Helpers of Destiny wherever they are – They will locate you this Season and they will Help you in Jesus Name.

I don’t know what the Enemies are Planning against you; I decree that wherever they are, your Enemies will carry their Evil loads.

In case that they have shot any arrows at you; every arrow shut at you shall go back to the Sender.

Any Embargo Placed upon you; I Command it to be lifted now in Jesus Name.

Beginning from this moment, I decree that: You are Free, you are Delivered, it is well with you and you should begin to move in Jesus Name.

You will never go back and you will never be Limited again.

That Red Light that has Limited you; I Command it to turn to Green for your sake.

You will make Progress in Jesus Name.

Thank You Father!

The Light of God in your Life will never go down; the Light of God will never depart from you and you too will never depart from the Light of the Lord.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

I want to Pray Specially for some People that are “Specially Special”.

Now, is there anyone here that needs Help? You want God to help you?

I made a Confession when I got here – I said that there is Nothing any Man of God can do without the God of Man.

It is God that will do it and not Man.

If you will need Help, wherever you are, wave your hands.

Jesus Christ says: Come unto me all ye that Labour and are Heavy Ladened.

He says that I will give you rest.

He says that I will help you open a New Chapter for you; Command your Helpers to help you. I will help you and Deliver you; I will set you Free and He will put you on High,

He is willing to help you but He says: Come!

So, if you want Jesus to help you; wherever you are Come and Surrender yourself to Him first.

I have Good News for you – Our father-in-the-Lord; the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide is Praying for you and Prayimg for me.

Let us Pray!

I want you to talk to God:

Father, I have come to You tonight and not to any Man of God – Please have Mercy on me.

I have done Nothing to deserve it but because of your Love my Lord; I am here Please be Merciful to me.

There is no Medicated Soap that can wash away sins – It is only the Blood of Jesus Christ that can wash away sin.

You will say: Father, wash me with the Blood of Jesus; Cleanse me Completely and Pray to God to write your name in the Book of Life.

In Jesus Name – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

I Pray that God will go to the Foundation of your families and He will rewrite your Records.

If there is any Embargo Placed for your sake; the Embargo is lifted now in the Name of Jesus.

Jesus Christ Promised to give you Rest – I Pray that God will give you Rest; God will Help you; God will Heal you; God will Deliver you, Enlarge your Coast in Jesus Name.

I Cover all of you with the Blood of Jesus Christ – No Evil Hands will touch you and no Evil eyes will see you.

So shall it be!

TOPIC: MY MINISTRY FOCUS

BIBLE TEXT: LUKE 4:17-19

Last week I talked about my Ministry Values. Today I am doing ICGC at 40; and my Sub Title is: “MY MINISTRY FOCUS”.

I want to talk about what I keep my eyes on.

Luke 4:17-19 (NKJV) – Jesus telling us about His Ministry Focus

17 And He was handed the book of the Prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the Place where it was written:

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has Anointed Me To Preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the Brokenhearted, To Proclaim Liberty to the Captives And Recovery of sight to the blind, To set at Liberty those who are Oppressed;

19 To Proclaim the Acceptable year of the Lord.”

From the Passage, Jesus was talking about His Ministry Focus: What His Ministry is about.

And He used a Text in Isaiah’s Prophecy that talks about the work of the Messiah.

And Jesus announces that He is the Messiah, by going to the Book of Isaiah 61:1-3. After which He said, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” And the People almost killed Him for saying that.

You would think that they would be excited that somebody had come to Proclaim Good News. But they wanted to kill Him. Jesus said He was Anointed and He was sent.

Each one of us who are called by Christ, our Ministry, whatever we do must fit into what Jesus Christ came to do. Because we can have no other Ministry outside the Ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Personal focus and desires must always find convergence in Christ Jesus.

In 1 Corinthians 1:22-24, let’s hear Apostle Paul speaking. He says, For Jews request a Sign, and Greeks seek after Wisdom; but we Preach Christ Crucified, to the Jews a Stumbling Block and to the Greeks Foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the Power of God and the Wisdom of God.

It is interesting that Apostle Paul talked about what the Jews are looking for. And he never fulfilled what they were looking for.

The Jews were looking for a Sign. He said, I am not going to give ve you a Sign.

The Greek said they are looking for Wisdom. He said, I am not going to give you Wisdom: I am going to give you Christ, who is the All in all.

Paul acknowledged that his Ministry was a Continuation of the Ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.

WHAT IS MY MINISTRY FOCUS?

I am going to talk about Seven (7) Things that are my Ministry Focus: Seven (7) Ideas that represent the thrust of what I am hoping to achieve.

1. To Preach the Gospel of Christ so that People can experience Salvation from sin through God’s Saving Grace.

This is the Primary focus of all Christian Ministry.

The Lord Jesus Christ Commanded us to go into the world and Preach the Gospel to everyone.

Jesus described the Preaching of the Gospel as the Proclamation of the Acceptable year of the Lord – The Proclamation of God’s year of favour.

That means God is not angry with you to destroy – God loves you, He wants to save, rescue and deliver you.

It’s like somebody rescuing a Person who is trying to commit suicide – The Person is at some building, at the top and he wants to throw himself down; and a Negotiator is sent to go and talk to him.

What is the Negotiator going to say?

Is the Negotiator going to say, “hey, you are about to die?” Or he is going to tell the Person, “listen, your Parents love you, we all love you and we want to save you. We want you to be free?”

Out of these two (2) Messages, which do you think is going to be more appealing to the guy who wants to commit suicide?

It is not the Message of “you are going to die”; it is the Message of “you are loved, you can be rescued, and you can have a new Life.”

That is the Acceptable Year of the Lord that Jesus came to Proclaim: That for those who have no hope, there is hope. And that God can save them. So that in Him, they may have Life and have Life more Abundantly.

… And that my friend, is the Gospel.

The Gospel is Good News – The Gospel is not criticism of human behaviour; the Gospel is the Proclamation of God’s Love to redeem even the most despicable Sinner and make that Person a Child of God.

And I am committed to Preach this Message – It is my Ministry Focus: to Preach the Good News, not the Bad News. That when People give their lives to Christ, they would have New lives.

When I am talking to Unbelievers (Sinners); I don’t criticize their sins because they are already Sinners – I Point them to the Saviour who can deliver them from their sins.

What Good is it to tell a bad man, “you are evil?”

Yes, you have affirmed who he is, but the Gospel says you can be made Righteous, you can be made Better, you can be Delivered. Your sins can be forgiven if you give your Life to Jesus Christ.

Good News is not an affirmation of the sins of the People; Good News is the Proclamation of Deliverance through Christ Jesus.

And that is what my Ministry focuses on.

In the Ministry of Jesus, the only People He criticized were the Religious People – The Pharisees, the Scribes, the Teachers of the Law!

But when it comes to People like Zacheous, the woman caught in Adultery; all these bad People, Jesus never condemned them. He never spoke evil about them.

He encouraged them to experience New Lives!

And that is what the Ministry of Christ is all about.

2. To Affirm and Exalt Jesus Christ as the True Lord over all Powers of evil and Manifestations of Spiritual Darkness.

It is part of my Ministry Focus to emphasize the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In His death and resurrection, Jesus defeated all Powers of evil and Spiritual Darkness.

Many times People receive Jesus as the Lord of their lives; but they don’t see Him as the Lord of everything that is evil in this world.

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is Lord over all Satanic Principalities and Powers.

Many African Christians Struggle with the Lordship of Jesus – They feel that although Jesus is Lord, the forces of Darkness are not fully under His Control.

And some Christians feel they must continuously fight against Evil Spirits, in order to experience Victory.

And that view goes totally against the New Testament – Which clearly shows that Jesus defeated Satan and made a Public Example of him.

What God has defeated, we do not continue fighting.

If you believe He is Lord over all Principalities and Powers, you don’t live your Life afraid of Evil Spirits, and expend all your Prayer time coming against Evil Spirits; binding the devil and binding Satan.

Because, most of us, all our Prayer is to gain Mastery over the devil.

And Jesus says, just trust me; I did that job for you; trust me, I have overcome this guy (Satan).

But Africans don’t like it that way! We like hard job.

But it is my Ministry Focus to Affirm and Exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and the True Lord over all Principalities and Powers.

• He is Lord over all gods, idols and deities.
• He is Lord over all Demonic Manifestations.
• He is Lord over all Witchcraft and Evil Curses.
• He is Lord over all the Curses in your Bloodline.
• He is Lord over every Man and Woman of God.
• He is Lord over your Present and Future Realities.

Jesus is Lord! And no matter how you feel, He is Lord:

• And I am never going to Preach a Message that diminishes the Lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ.
• I am never going to Preach a Message that emphasizes the Power of Satan.
• I am never going to Preach a Message that shows how bad the devil is.

I am going to Preach Messages to show you how Powerful Jesus is; how much His Salvation and His Deliverances are.

There is no Curse I can break that Christ has not already broken; there is no Victory I can Preach that Christ has not already given. It is not in my Place to deliver you. He has already Delivered you. If you are Born Again, filled with the Spirit of God, you are already Delivered.

Somebody say: I am Delivered!

Two Thousand (2,000) years ago, on a Hill called Calvary:

• God became man, hung on a tree and died.
• Was buried, and He rose again on the third (3rd) day.
• When He rose again He said, “All Power is given unto me in Heaven and in Earth” (Matthew 28:18)

How dare you diminish that?

How dare you belittle that?

How dare you believe that your tiny Village has so many Demons that God Himself who died for you cannot deliver you – That it takes something else for you to be Delivered?

The reality is the Word of God; the Pretension is your Experience – And the Word of God says: Jesus is Lord!

Somebody say: Jesus is Lord!

3. Encourage Christians to trust in the Sufficiency of the Scriptures to answer all the Important Questions of Life.

The Bible is the Word of God – It does not just contain the Word of God, it is the Word of God. It is Complete and Sufficient for all our Instruction in Righteousness.

The Scriptures reveal God to us, reveal His Will to us, reveal why God created us, what God expects from us, the state of Human Beings, how God relate with Human Beings, what God has done to Satan, what God has done for us in Christ.

And then reveals the Final state of Human Beings – Those who believe and those who do not believe.

It is food for our Souls and Spirits – And I endeavour to root everything in my Belief system to the Scriptures.

If it is not affirmed with the rightly interpreted Scripture Provisions, I don’t believe it.

You show me, and it is not Scriptural, I don’t believe it – Because, “let God be true and all men liars.”

We don’t walk by what we see, we have walk by what God says.

Jesus said, It is written, Man shall not live by Bread alone, but by every Word that Proceeds out of the mouth of God – Matthew 4:4

The Bible is Sufficient, Efficient and Proficient for every Question you have in Life.

It is your Enabler, your Wisdom, your Life, your Instructor, your Motivator and your Encourager.

Whatever Question you have, you’ll find the answer there in the Bible.

Of course, it would not be the answers to Questions like, “who stole the yam in my Village?”

You are not going to find a Bible Passage for that.

But it will show you the Character of thiefs and based of that, you can make your own deduction as to who stole the yam.

4. Make Christians aware of the Triumphant Life that is available to them through the indwelling Power of the Holy Spirit.

The Christian Life is a Triumphant Life and it is a Victorious Life.

Christ died and rose from the dead to give us Victory.

Although Christians experience Sufferings, Pains and all kinds of Struggles in their lives; we have the assurance that in Christ we are more than Conquerors.

We may not have Freedom from every Pain, and from every Suffering; we we may not have Freedom from every disadvantage, but in all of them, we are More Than Conquerors.

A Christian can be going through difficulty and still conquer.

A Christian can be going through pain and still win.

We can cry and still experience Joy.

The Christian Life does not exempt us from Suffering and Pain; but the Christian Life give us Victory through our Pain and Suffering because in all things, we come out Victorious through Jesus.

The Christian Life is a Triumphant Life – It is not a Mediocre Life.

It is not a Life of running away from Demons, Principalities, Powers, Witches and Wizards.

For most of you, almost all the Prayer you Pray is a run away Prayer – You are Praying to run away from some dark force.

An African is so “Incurably Spirited” – It is so engraved in our world view that we constantly look for some kind of Spiritual Manifestation troubling ourselves:

We see a cockroach on the wall, demon.

A frog just jumped and got into your bedroom, demon.

A nice lizard running away from the heat comes to hide under your bed, and you are binding and casting, in Jesus’ Name.

The lizard is like, “what have I done? – I just want a cool atmosphere.”

An owl just Perched on the tree, demon!

Thanks be to God who causes us to triumph always in all things through Christ – 1 Corinthians 15:57.

I don’t know what you are going through, but you will Triumph over it – Amen.

I don’t know what Life has brought against you, but you will Triumph over it – Amen.

You may be Weeping today, but you are going to overcome that – Amen.

You may be down now today, but you will be up – Amen.

That is the Christian Story – It is Triumphant in Christ Jesus. And ultimately, even in death we will be triumphant – Amen.

Some People die and die; we will die and live (in Christ) – Amen.

The Christian Life is a Triumphant Life; and it is my Commitment to focus your attention to that;

In Christ we Triumph over sin, over the desires of the flesh, over the Old Adamic Nature, over Adultery, and over all Powers of Darkness.

5. Break the Culture of Fear, Subservient and Dependency in the African Society: because of the effects of Idolatry, Slavery and Colonialism.

As an African I am aware of the Challenges that come with Black Africans.

But I believe God called me as an African to speak to the Culture I was born out of.

It doesn’t mean I believe Africa is Superior to other Continents, No!

All I am saying is, when God calls you out of a People, He sends you to them as well; to answer the Question of the People.

Questions of fear, of Subservient, of Inferiority and Complete Dependency – Our inability to take hold of our lives and run our lives.

We’ve always wished that somebody would pick up our lives and run it for us.

Simple decisions are difficult for most of us – We always want somebody to tell us what to do.

That is why the so called Prophets have a Free-Day in our Continent (African).

Because we don’t know how to take Charge of our lives; we don’t know how to make decisions; we are constantly unsure of ourselves – And it’s an African Thing!

Most People in other Continents of the world have learnt how to make decisions and bear the consequences of their Choices and their Actions but we somehow just want somebody else to make those decisions for us. And there is a history to it:

It is bind up in Idolatry, in Slavery and in Colonialism – A Triple Heritage!

6. Promote Christian Work Ethic that is rooted in Productivity, in Pursuit of Excellence and Prosperity for Honest Labour.

I believe that God wants us to do well – He wants us to live our lives in Dignity and Honour.

At the heart of Human Dignity is work.

After the fall, God told Adam that he will eat through his sweat and toil.

It is dignifying to sweat and to toil in your field – Hard work is Honourable.

It is through our sweat and toil that we become Productive Human Beings and Prosperity comes from Productivity.

… And I believe we must aim for the highest level of Performance in all we do.

I believe God wants us to prosper but I don’t believe in Magical Prosperity.

• I believe in sweat and toil prosperity.
• I believe you must sweat, work hard and trust God to bless the work of your hands.

That’s how we Prosper, and that’s how we do it.

God said to Adam, the Earth will Produce thorns and thistles for you – It is cursed. But if you Labour and you toil, you would eat.

In other words, you can be in a Cursed Environment but through toil and Labour, you will live a Dignified Life.

When you are in a tough situation; He gives you a Miracle and turns the situation around.

But it is not the Pattern of Life – The Pattern of Life is, wake up and work till you feel tired.

Hard work is not a curse; Labour is not a curse; getting up and going to hustle everyday is not a curse; standing by the roadside and selling is not a curse; being at your workshop and knocking things together is not a curse; being a Seamstress, standing in your feet to dress People’s hair, working hard as a Sanitation Person, sweeping and cleaning the street is not a curse – Hard work is not a curse!

Some do it as Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Preachers; some Study Languages to have an Understanding of the documents that are forty (40) years old, and make it relevant in 2024.

You cannot say, “God will bless me if I don’t work hard” – You have to work hard, and you have to make a Choice in your Labour because, everybody’s work is hard.

The Person hawking and carrying something on their head, that is hard work.

The Heavy weight Person who wrestles – That’s hard work.

The Footballer who is playing and People are just kicking his feet and he is having all kinds of injuries – That’s hard work.

Everybody is working hard!

7. Empower Christians to take up Leadership Responsibility in all Spheres of Life and make Christ always known in their lives.

“Raising Leaders, Shaping Visions, Influencing our Societies through Christ.”

And when I talk about Leadership, I am not talking about a Positional one or a Title; I am talking about an attitude and a responsibility. Christians must get to a Place and be able to take Charge.

We must be Salt of the Earth – We cannot hide or run away from the world.

Wherever you go remember this: “you are an Ambassador of Christ.”

You are His Ambassador in a Fitting Workshop, in the Operative Theater, at the Hospital as a Doctor or a Nurse.

Wherever you go, wherever you work, you are an Ambassador of Christ – That’s what Leadership is!

You are not only going because Christ has Placed you there:

• You are going there to be Salt.
• You are going to make Him known as Light.
• You are going to Showcase Jesus.

That’s Leadership!!!

You may not get a Certificate for that; but when your Light is Shinning everybody follows you.

You may be the Lowest Paid Officer in your office; but everybody looks up to you.

People honour and respect you.

People come to you for Advice because you Showcase Christ wherever you go

That is what True Leadership is all about.

Those Seven (7) Things I have talked about are my Ministry Focus because I believe that’s what God wants me to focus on.

There would be other Pastors who focus on other things. I have no Problem with that.

Peter said, “such as I have I give…” This is what I give.

And if any of these Seven (7) Things resonate with you and they are of your Aspiration and what you want to become in Life.

Then you are listening to the right Message or should I says that you are reading the right Message now on the Label of DMC!

And it will help you become the Person that God wants you to be – Amen.

OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God, King of Kings, Lord of Lords; the Ressurrection and the Life.

Thank You for this Easter Sunday; Thank You for the Sacrifice on Good Friday and Thank You for the Joy of Ressurrection.

Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Thank You for all You have done since we came to Cameroon and Thank You for what You are about to do now,

We know that You reserved the Best till the Last – Today, give the Best to Your Children.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

I want you to shake hands with about three (3) or four (4) People and tell him/her: “I will get the Best today!”

God Bless You – You may Please be Seated!

I want to Salute the Representative of the Prime Minister – Thank Yiu for coming,

Please say Thank You to the Prime Minister – Assure him that we are Praying for him.

He Lives! – My Jesus is Alive and He will show you today that He is Alive!

Thank You very much for the Warm Reception you have given to me and my family since we came – I will love to come back!

Revelation 1:18 –

Jesus is the One speaking here – He says: I am He that liveth, and was Dead; and, behold, I am Alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of Hell and of Death.

He is Alive – Death could not hold Him Captive!

When He died on the Cross, the devil and all his Hosts were rejoicing – They said that at long last, we have killed Him.

There was Darkness for 3 Hours – The Sun refused to Shine and Darkness reigned Supreme.

So the devil said that I have put out the Light.

But on the 3rd Day, He rose from the Dead and the Light that has been Shinning since then is still Shinning now.

From today onwards and forever; the Light will Shine in Cameroon – Amen

1. Because He rose from the Dead, you and everyone who believes in Jesus Christ, you can now have Permanent Victory over Sickness.

Because in 1 Peter 2:24; the Bible tells us that it is because He died on the Cross that we can now say: By His Stripes, I am Healed.

I want to assure you that the Healings you got during the Crusade (DMC NOTES: Light Up Crusades in Douala and Yaounde – You can get to read their Full Texts Only on the Label of DMC); will be Permanent – Amen

2. Because He rose from the Dead, you can now enjoy Victory over Poverty.

Because in 2 Corinthians 8:9; the Bible says that even though He was Rich but because of you, He became Poor so that you through His Poverty might be made Rich.

Because when they were Crucifying Him on Good Friday, they removed every dress He had on Him – They Stripped Him naked.

But then when He rose from the Dead, it can now say in the Word of God: My God shall Supply all your Needs according to His Riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.

… He said that He will Supply all your Needs according to how Rich He is.

You know that you may want to give a Gift to Somebody but you may not have much – And so when you want to give, you give to him according to how much you have.

I mean if you come to me now and you give me a thousand CFA Franc; I will look at the money and look at the one giving me:

• If it is coming from a Big Man, I will look at him and say: Do you think I’m a Beggar?
• But if it comes from a Little Child (Probably he got the money from Mama – Meaning Mother) and say that I won’t allow daddy go without giving him a Gift.

I will carry the child, bless the child because the child is Giving according to how Rich he is.

Now, my God is the owner of Heaven and Earth:

• He said that Silver and Gold are mine.
• He said that the Cattle upon a thousand Hills they are mine.
• He said that the Earth is mine and the Fullness thereof.
• He said that all the Things underneath the Earth: The Silver, the Gold, the Oil; they all belongs to me.

The Bible says that my God shall Supply all your Needs according to His Riches!

There is Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – Because He lives, you will never know Poverty again (Amen).

3. Because He lives, you don’t have to be afraid of Death anymore.

Because when He rose from the Dead, He has with Him the Keys of Death – He took it from Satan.

That is why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15: 55-end; a child can boldly said: “Death, where is your Sting now? Where is your Fear?”

.,. I’m a Child of God and my Redeemer is Alive.

Several years ago, my father-in-the-Lord was sick – He was about to go to Heaven. And he sent to one of his best friends.

He said: Well, I want you to know that I’m going home.

That one sent back to him – He said: Who are you threatening? Who told you that you will get there before me?

… They were talking about Death as if they were talking of travelling or Somebody is about to go on Holiday simply because the Fear of Death was gone.

Because He is Alive, Death can no longer threaten you – Amen!

Because He lives, you will also live – Amen!

4. Because He rose from the Dead, you can enforce your Victory!

You know that the Bible says that we are More Than Conqueror through Him that loves us.

It doesn’t matter how many People are trying to fight against you; you don’t even need to fight to win because there is Someone who lives – The Lord of Host and He is your friend.

He has never lost a war and He will never lose one and He will defend you to the last.

When you go through the Scriptures, several times when the Enemies were overwhelming; He will tell His own People – You don’t need to fight; just wait and see the Salvation of the Lord.

I have Good News for those of you who are facing so many Enemies – I decree to you today that you will overcome them all (Amen).

5. Now because He lives, you can now use His Name.

You can’t use the name of Someone who is Dead; you can only use the name of Someone who is alive and Powerful.

… Oh, I mean when Somebody is in Power!

I mean I remembered one occasion in a Particular Nation; we were travelling to the Airport.

Because the Head of State sent his driver to take us to the Airport, the driver waa moving at a top Speed.

And so I said: Sir, aren’t you afraid of the Police?

He laughed and said:: Which Police will stop the car of the President?

Because we have the President backing, we were just racing by the way.

Oh, there are Police left, right and center but when they see the Symbol of the President, they Salute.

Because He lives, when Demons see you, they will Salute – Amen!

Why? Because I Philippians 2: 5-11; He said that because He agreed to die and then rose from the Dead; God has given Him a Name that is above every other name; that at the Name of Jesus, every knees should bow.

Every Force working against you, in the Name of Jesus, they will bow – Amen.

In Acts 3: 1-16; the Bible says that Peter and John are going to the Temple and they saw a Sick Man – A Man born Lame. He was looking up to them for alms.

But Peter said: Look on us, we don’t have CFA Franc but we have something – We have the Name of Jesus.

… We have something that money cannot buy.

And so we say to you: In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; rise up and walk.

And the Man jumped up and began to dance and sing Praises to God.

When you leave here today; as you are telling People that He lives; anybody that you touch will receive a Miracle – Amen!

6. Because He lives, you can now use His Blood – The Power that is in His Blood!

… The Blood that can Silence the Devil.

Because the Bible says in Revelation 12: 10-11 – It says that they overcame the devil by the Blood of the Lamb.

When the devil tries to mess around with you; you just say: In the Blood of Jesus or I Plead the Blood of Jesus.

And the devil himself knows that:

• It was the Blood that Conquered him.
• It was the Blood that Dethroned him.
• It was the Blood that puts him to Shame,

And I am saying to everyone of you that from now on, in the Power that is in the Blood; you will overcome every devil – Amen!

7. Because He lives, He can now fulfill all His Promises.

You know that many atimes when Somebody is about to die, he will write a Will – After I have gone, give this much to my first born, give this to the second born and so on and so forth.

But then after his Death, Somebody in the family may rise up and say: No, we Challenge the Will and they will take the case to the Court.

And for years,, they will be going right and left – And the Will is there. But the People who should receive the benefits won’t be able to get anything.

At the end of the Day, it is the one who is able to settle the Judge that will get the Biggest Benefits.

But in the case of Jesus Christ, He wrote His Will, He died and then He rise again and Nobody can Challenge His Will.

You know that before He died, He said that: I am the Ressurrection and the Life.

And when He was here on Earth, He Proved it – He Proved it because when He said that I am the Ressurrection and the Life in John 11:25.

He Proved it at the Tomb of Lazarus – He stood there and said: Lazarus come forth.

He didn’t said: Death, loose your hold – He merely Commanded Lazarus to come forth,

And when Death heard His Voice, he checked among those who are in the Tomb – Which of you is Lazarus? What are you doing here? You want to get me to trouble?

Don’t you know that the Bible says that Death is the Last Enemy to be destroyed?

Do you want me to be destroyed before my time?

Get out of here!

Now, Jesus Christ is Alive and He is saying to everything that is Good in your Life – Your Memory, your Previous Glory and everything Good in your Life that for one reason or the other had died; He is saying to them now: Come out of the Grave!

And you know what – In John 14: 1-3; He said that: In my Father’s House, there are many Mansions there,

He says that if it were not so, I would have told you,

He says that I’m going to Prepare a Place for you.

And that when I finished Preparing the Place; then I will come for you so that where I am, there you will be also,

Let me assure you of one thing – You may not have a House in this world or your House may be a small one; but there is a Mansion awaiting for you in Heaven.

And the Mansion in Heaven is not built with muds or concrete – Everything is built with Gold!

You said that how do I know? – Oh, the Bible says so.

And not only that, I have seen my own – And I’m telling you, the Mansions there were Big and the Mansions there are beautiful.

When I asked God: What am I going to do with this Big House? Because to tell you the truth, the size of that Mansion that they showed me is bigger than Yaounde.

And not only that, they are still building it.

I said: God, what am I going to do with this?

And He said to me: For every that Souls you win, there will be a room. Because over there, your children will come to spend time with you,

You know over there, there is no Night – It is one Continuous Day.

So, those that you won over to God will come and Play with you in your own Mansion – They will spend so much Time as they want because there is no Time.

So, I rejoice with those of you who are Soul Winners – The more Souls you win, the Bigger your Mansions will be!

And so He said – When I finished Preparing for you; I will come for you and take you to myself.

Let me tell you one thing – You will never die until Jesus Christ finished your Mansion and He will come for you Himself!

You know that David said in Psalms 23 – He said that when I am walking through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no evil.

Why? He said because You are with me.

… He will come for you, hold you by the hands as you go together to Heaven.

That is why you find out that those who really Love Jesus Christ, we are not afraid of Death – We know that He is coming!

And when He comes, and He is holding you by the hand – As you are going together to Heaven; all the Angels will be Singing beautiful Songs.

It is only those who don’t know Jesus Christ – They are the People who has a lot to fear because when they die; they will be going to Hell.

And in Hell, you don’t even want your Enemies to be there!

So, I’m going to encourage you:

• If you have been Winning Souls, do more!
• If you have not been Winning Souls, begin today.

Because He is Alive and He is going to reward you according to how many Souls that you have won for Him!

8. Let me Conclude by saying this one: Do you know that the Greatest Joy that I have that Jesus Christ is Alive is that Constantly, He speaks to me.

You can’t hear from a Dead Person but you can only hear from Somebody who is Alive!

And He has been speaking to some People today – He said it Himself.

He said that I am the Shepherd of the Sheep – I know my own Sheep and my Sheep hears my own voice.

When you come to Church and the Preacher is Preaching, all of a sudden, you hear something that is for you and you alone.

And you know – Ha, Good is talking to me.

And God is talking to Somebody here today – He is asking me to tell you that your tomorrow will be alright (Amen).

ALTAR CALL

That’s why am appealling to those of you who are not sure of your Salvation – Oh, give your Life to Him today!

This Ressurrection Morning is the best time to Surrender your Life to Him because it will become easy for you to remember when you are Born Again.

On Easter Sunday?

And everybody will be envious of you that you got Born Again on the Day Jesus Christ rose from the Dead.

So, if there is anyone here and you are not yet sure of your Salvation; come to the Altar now – Let’s make Assurance doubly sure.

Let me Pray for you so that God will save your Soul.

And of course, that means that you are saying bye bye to a Life of sin and you want to serve the Almighty God.

And so, I’m to count from one (1) to seven (7) – If you want to give your Life to Jesus, come and Stand before me now and I will Pray for your Salvation.

… I’m counting now!

Now, those of you who are already infront and those on the way; I want you to cry to the Almighty God and say: Lord, Please save my Soul as I want to become a Child of God. Forgive all my sins and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

Go ahead and talk to Him.

And the rest of us who are sure of our Salvation, Please Stretch your hands towards these People and Intercede for them,

Pray that the Almighty God who saved your Soul will save their own Souls also.

Go ahead and Pray for them!

Thank You Father!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen,

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Saviour, I want to say Thank You – Thank You for Your Words and Thank You for these People who has come forward to Surrender their lives to You.

Please, receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, receive them into the Family of God and from now on, anytime they Call on You, answer them by Fire.

Thank You Almighty God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

This is Ressurrection Morning – How many of you believed that God is going to do something Special for you today?

Stand on your feet and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

FINAL CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Name and I want to Thank You for this Great Day.

I want to Thank You because I know that You are here because You are Alive and Alive Forevermore.

On behalf of all Your Children here, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

In a moment Lord, I’m going to ask these Your Children to cry to You for something Special today; Father give them the Best.

Give them the Best You can give; give them something that they will never forget and answer all their Prayers.

And from now on, let their Joy be Full and help them to win more Souls so that You can make their Mansions Mightier.

And I Pray once more – Let Your Light continue to Shine in their lives.

Don’t let their Lights go out and let them too continue to Shine for You.

Thank You Almighty God!

I Pray that every Forces of Darkness locked in Cameroon will disappear today.

That Your Light will continue to Shine in Cameroon forever and ever.

GENERAL PRAYERS

1. If you believed that everything is going to Change for the better for you tonight, lift your hands to the Almighty God and begin to bless His Holy Name.

Begin to give Him Glory and Honour that things are able to Change for the better for you now.

Give Him Glory, give Him Hinour, give Him Adoration – Let Him hear your voice. Praise Him, Adore Him, and Magnify Him like you have never done before.

Let Him hear your voice that you are here tonight to Praise Him and to Magnify His Holy Name because He is here for you and that tonight is your Night.

Thank You Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

2. Then I want you to Pray another Prayer with all your Heart

Cry to God and say: Father, if You are Blessing only two (2) People here tonight, Please let me be one of them.

Go ahead and cry to the Almighty God.

OPENING PRAYER

King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Ancient of Days, the Unchangeable Changer – We Worship You.

We Thank You for giving us this occasion where Your Light can shine again – Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Tonight, in the lives of everyone of Your Children, let the Light Shine – In Yaounde (DMC NOTES: Yaounde is the Capital City of Cameroon and the 2nd Largest Metropolis in Cameroon), let the Light Shine; in Cameroon, let the Light Shine.

Before this Night is out, let all Your Children have Mighty Testimonies

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Now, before you sit down; you turn to your Neighbour and shake hands with him/her and say: Neighbour, I love you but tonight; my Miracle will be bigger than yours.

God Bless You – You may Please be seated!

Genesis 1:1-4:

1. In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth.
2. And the Earth was without form, and void; and Darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3. And God said, Let there be Light: and there was Light.
4. And God saw the Light, that it was Good: and God divided the Light from the Darkness.

The first time there was Light in this world, it was because God spoke!

The very first thing God ever said on this Earth was: “Let there be Light”.

And as soon as He said “Let there be Light”; immediately there was Light.

When He said “Let there be Light”; it didn’t take years before there was Light; it didn’t take Months before there was Light; infact it didn’t take days before there was Light – The moment He spoke it, immediately there was Light.

In the next few Seconds in the Life of Somebody here now or reading now on the Label of DMC; there will be Light because when God spoke, Darkness disappeared.

And in the Name of the One who sent me to Cameroon; before you leave here tonight, Darkness would have disappeared from your homes – Amen!

Because whenever God speaks, certain things must happen:

1. The first thing that will happen according to Psalms 107:20 – The Bible says: He sent His Words and it healed them.

In the next few Minutes, the Word of God will come to Somebody and your Sickness will disappear – Amen!

Because Sickness belongs to Darkness; Sickness is the Agent of Death and Death belongs to Darkness – That is why People wear dark clothes when they are mourning.

Healing belongs to Light!

And the Word of God is coming to Someone now or reading now on the Label of DMC – Don’t wait for another ten Minutes; receive your Healings right now (Amen).

When Jesus Christ was Passing through Jericho in Mark 10: 46-52; there was a blind Man there – He had always lived in Darkness. He began to cry to Jesus Christ for Mercy

When Jesus Christ asked him to be brought and asked him – What do you want me to do for you?

He said: Give me Light – If You give me Light, the rest of my Problems will be over.

I Pray in the Name that is above every other name; in the lives of everyone of you here today or reading now on the Label of DMC; there will be Light – Amen!

2. The Bible says that the Second thing that the Word of God will do according to the same Psalms 107:20 – When it says that He sent His Words and it healed them and delivered them out of their Destructions.

Once the Word goes out, it brings Deliverance because Bondage is of Darkness and Deliverance is of Light.

And so when God says:. “Let there be Light”; there is no Force of Darkness that can stop Him.

Because according to Psalms 24: 7-10; the One who said “Let there be Light” is also called “The Lord of Host” – He is the Controller of all Hosts.

I used to think that He is the Controller of all the Hosts in Heaven alone but much later, God showed me that He is the Controller of all the Hosts in Heaven, of all the Hosts on Earth and of all the Hosts underneath the Earth.

He is the One that even the devil must come to Him to take Permission before he can do anything.

Before the devil could torment Job, he had to get Permission from God.

I have Good News for you today – God is not going to give Permission to the devil to torment you (Amen).

The Bible says in John 1: 4-5 – It says that in Jesus Christ was Life and the Life was the Light of Men.

It says that the Light Shines in Darkness and Darkness cannot overcome it.

That’s why I’m decreeing to Somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC that:

• All the Enemies from your father’s house, they are going to fail tonight (Amen).
• All the Enemies from your wife’s house, they are going to fail tonight (Amen).
• All the Enemies in your Place of work that has been Planning evil against you; I decree in the Name of the Almighty God that they will fail from tonight (Amen).

In Mark 5: 2-15; the Bible tells us of a Man who was under the Control of a Legion of Demons.

The Demons were very many and they were doing everything Possible so that the Man will destroy himself.

But when he saw Jesus Christ coming, ha he saw the Light coming and he Surrendered to the Light.

And Jesus Christ spoke just one Word – He said to all the Demons: Go! And immediately, they left.

I decree in the Name of Jesus Christ – Every Demons that has been tormenting you, tormenting your family; they will leave you alone tonight (Amen).

It had happened before:

Several years ago, we had a Program like this and there was a boy there – From the day he was born, he had this Demon in him; he always want to crawl into fire. And so from the day he was born, they kept him far away from the Kitchen.

And some Brethrens gathered round to Pray for him – They wanted to command the Demon to go out of him and I was just walking Past and I saw the Brethren getting ready to fight, rolling their sleeves and they were ready to do Deliverance.

“Real Deliverance” doesn’t take time – All you need to do to be Free is just a word.

So, when they saw me coming; ha Thank God you are here – Please come and join us.

I said what is the Problem? And they told me.

I said that I’m ready to join you Provided you let me Pray first because they are getting ready – They are getting ready for hours.

And I said: In the Mighty Name of Jesus, be Free! And I left the Place.

And they looked at me – Is that all? I said what else? At the mention of the Name Jesus, all knees must bow.

In the Name that is above every other name; I decree to anyone of you who are in any form of Bondage; be Free now – Amen!

I Command all Forces of Darkness tormenting you right now – “Let there be Light” (Amen).

3. When God Speaks, when He sent His Words; Failure comes to an End.

That’s why I know that from tonight onwards, in the lives of those of you who are here or reading now on the Label of DMC; there will be no more Failure – Amen!

When you read Luke 5: 1-7; the Bible tells us that Peter had fished all Night and he caught Nothing. He Laboured all Night and he was a Failure.

Then Jesus Christ came into his boat and after he finished Preaching, He spoke one Word – Hey, you are a Fisherman and you have caught no fish; Launch your Nets.

Peter said that we have toiled all Night and we have caught Nothing but at thy Word – Because You have spoken, we will try again.

You know the rest of the Story – He threw one Net instead of all the Nets and they needed the second boat to carry the fish.

There are many of us who are here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – We have been working hard and there is no result:

I. Some of you are Students: We have Studied very hard and we kept on failing – Not because we didn’t Study.

II. Some of us are Business Men: We have tried everything working hard – There is Nothing to show for it.

But I Promise you in the Name that is above every other name; from tonight onwards, you will never fail again – Amen!

And I’m speaking now Particularly to all the Students who are here – Because God is asking me to tell you that you will never fail another Exams (Amen).

How do I know? – It has happened to me before.

When I was in the University – You know that I Studied Mathematics. And one thing about Mathematics is that either you know it or you don’t know it as there is no Middle way.

And it was Exams time – This Particular Paper was my Best Subject. My Colleagues will come to me to explain it to them.

But then, the day of Exams came; we were to answer five (5) Questions out of eight (8) – I read Question No 1, I couldn’t understand; I read Question No 2, I couldn’t understand; Question No 3, I couldn’t understand. By now, I’m sweating,

Question No 4, blank; Question Numbers 5, 6, 7 and 8 – I said that I’m in trouble.

But in those days, I don’t know of nowadays – I’m talking of the 1960’s; if you failed, they will allow you to come and do a resit if it is only one Subject.

And since I couldn’t understand any of the Questions, I said maybe I should just go and come back to do a resit.

But the Hand of God Pressed me down and so I sat down doing Nothing while all my Colleagues were writing.

After 15 Minutes, I decided to read the Questions again:

• Question No 1; ha this is the Formular.
• Question No 2; this is this Theory.
• Question No 3, ….

So, I began to write and I answered all the eight (8) Questions..

And I wrote at the Top of the Paper to my Lecturer – Mark any five (5) because I knew that I will get one hundred Percent (100%).

In the Name of the God who helped me; I decree to all Students here tonight and those reading now on the Label of DMC – You will never fail another Examination (Amen).

4. When God Speaks a Word, another thing that will happen is that Sorrow will come to an End.

Because Sorrow belongs to Darkness and Joy belongs to Light!

Psalms 16:11 tells us that: In the Presence of God, there is the Fullness of Joy.

In Luke 7: 11-15; a woman was going to bury her only son – She was a Widow and she used to know Joy before.

She was happy the day she got married, and she was happy the day she had this boy.

But then, her Joy ended because the devil came and killed her husband and then the devil came and killed the only son.

And everybody following her to the Graveyard were saying among themselves: She must be a Wicked Woman, otherwise all these evils won’t be happening to her alone.

Her Sorrow was so Great but Jesus Christ came and spoke a Word – And said to her: “Weep Not”.

And from that moment onwards, that Woman never wept again because the boy came back to Life.

And all those who has been asking her: Where is your God? They are now saying: Your God is Great!

I decree to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – From this moment onwards, you will never know Sorrow again – Amen!

And all those who has been saying: Where is your God that you are Serving? They will come to you and say that your God is the Almighty – Amen!

It has happened before:

Several years ago, we are having a Program like this. And when it was time to Pray, I said that everybody should go ahead and ask God for something. And because I also needed Help from God, I was Praying also.

And as I was taught when I was Young – When you are Praying, we usually close our eyes. And so I closed my eyes and I was Praying.

Suddenly, God spoke to me and said: Son, open your eyes.

I almost told God – God, I’m Praying! But He said open your eyes and I opened my eyes.

And He Pointed to Somebody in the crowd to me – And the Woman was wet with tears.

And God said: Go and tell her: Stop Weeping!

Ha, God is saying to Somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC – From tonight onwards, you will never weep again (Amen).

I got to the Woman, tap her by the Shoulders and said: God asked me to tell you to stop Weeping,

And suddenly, her eyes brightened up because she knew that God had heard her and that at long last, her Day has come.

And so the Meeting ended and we all left.

A year later, some People were Standing before me – You know, we had another Program and some Peoole wanted to be Prayed for.

Finally, it was the turn of this Particular Woman – And she said to me: Sir, you don’t know me? I said I’m sorry ma, People were many,

She said last Year, I came to this Meeting – I had been married for 16 years without a Child. And the Relatives of my husband said that if I don’t give their son a Child that I should get out of the house.

She said that I was the Woman who was Weeping and God asked you to go and tell me to stop Weeping.

I looked at her and it is now my time to “Weep for Joy” – Because on one hand she was carrying a baby and on the other hand, she was carrying another baby.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; all of you who are here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC – You will never weep again (Amen).

5. Now, before God spoke, the Bible says that the Earth was confused.

When it says that the Earth was without Form – “Without Form” means that it has no Order and everything was disorderly.

And it was only when God spoke that Confusion ended!

Now, when He spoke and there was Order; it was because the One who spoke is the One who is known as the Prince of Peace!

… He speaks only one Word and every Confusion Stopped.

For Example in Mark 5: 25-34; the Bible talks about a Woman with the Issue of Blood.

A Woman who is Mensurating should be rejoicing because it simply means that when she marries, she can have children. But the Mensural Cycle should be for a Maximum of five (5) days.

But in the case of this Woman, instead of the bleeding stopping; it continued for Months upon Months and she went from one Doctor to another. And instead of getting better, it grew worst.

… She was Confused, until the Light Passed by and in a Single Day, her Confusion ended.

In Mark 4: 35-41; the Bible tells us the Story of Jesus Christ in the boat and then there was a Storm and all the Disciples were Struggling and they couldn’t settle the matter.

But when Jesus Christ got up, He spoke one Word and He said: Peace! And immediately, everything became calm.

Why? Because the Bible says that the Wind and the Sea obeys Him.

That which is causing Storm, they must obey God when God speaks!

If there is any Storm in your Life, in your Place of work, in your family; any kind of Storm in your Village, Town or in your Nation; today in the Name that is above every other name; there will be Peace – Amen!

Several years ago, I travelled for the first time by Sea – My children said that if you are going to rest, we have to get you off the Land.

So, they booked a Ticket for me to go in a Ship Cruise – The Ship was a very big Ship and several Storeys high.

But when you get to the middle of the Ocean, you will discovered that no matter how big the Ship is, it is a small thing.

Everything was going on fine until the last Night and then a Storm came – The Storm will pick the Big Ship, throw it up (Several Storeys) and then drop it and then everything will begin to shake.

And then it got to a Stage that the Captain called us together and said: Ladies and Gentlemen, there are twelve (12) Categories of Storms – Category 1 is the Smallest and Category 12 is the Biggest. He said don’t worry, we are only in Category 10.

Ha, Category 10? He (That is Captain) said, just go to your room and just stay there.

I said oh God, what am I doing here? I don’t even know how to swim.

Category 10? So, Jesus Christ what should I do?

Jesus Christ said to me – He said: Son, when I was here on Earth and there was a Storm; what did I do?

He said: Hey, you go and Sleep.

As soon as He said: Go and Sleep, I jumped on the bed and within 2 Minutes, I was fast asleep.

When I woke up, the Storm was over!

I decree to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – By tomorrow, every Storms in your Life: Physical Storm, Financial Storm, Marital Storm, Ministerial Storm will be over in Jesus Name (Amen).

And you will say: What if He doesn’t speak to me – Afterall, we are many here?

Oh, He is already speaking to you!

For Example, He said: Come to me all ye that Labour and are Heavy Ladened and I will give you rest!

All you need to do is to come to Jesus Christ – Surrender your Life to Him, He will take over and there will be no more Problems.

He will speak Life into your Life!

And once He has spoken, Darkness must leave you alone.

ALTAR CALL

So if you are not absolutely sure that you are Saved, that you are a True Child of God; come and Stand before the Altar here.

I will Pray for your Salvation and everything will Change!

I am going to count from one (1) to ten (10) – Before I say ten (10); if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, come and Stand before the Altar.

Jesus Christ is the One speaking to you now – He is saying: Come unto me all ye that Labour and are Heavy Ladened and I will give you rest.

I’m counting now!

Now, those of you who are already here; cry unto Jesus Christ and say: Lord, have Mercy on me – Save my Soul, forgive all my sins, give me a New Beginning.

Jesus Christ, Please save my Soul as I will serve You from now on and do Your Will.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Name and I want to Thank You for what You have already done tonight.

Thank You for the Power in Your Words and Thank You for these People who has come for Salvation.

Father, Please receive them, have Mercy on them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, write their names in the Book of Life, receive them into the Family of God and from now on, anytime they call on You, answer them by Fire.

Let it be well with them and let them serve You till the very End.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

SPECIAL LET THERE BE LIGHT PRAYERS

If you believed that today is your Day; Stand on your feet and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Now, we are going to do something as an “Act of Faith”.

I want you to take your Mobile Phones and turn it to Torch Light – Everyone of us.

We are going to use this as a Point of Contact:

1. We are going to say to the Almighty God loud and clear – You will say:

Father, let Your Light Shine upon me; let Your Light Shine upon my Family; let Your Light Shine upon my Village, Town and Cameroon.

Go ahead and Pray!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

2. Then you are going to Pray the Next Prayer with all your Hearts and with Faith.

You will shout and say:

Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, because I have received Your Light; I Command Satan – Satan, take your Dirty Hands off me, my Family, my People, my Business and my Ministry,

Go ahead and Pray!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

I’m going to Pray for you now and after that you have one more Prayer to Pray for yourself.

FINAL CLOSING PRAYER

In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; Father I Thank You because You have Spoken – And once You speaks, it is already done.

Accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Father, I decree upon all these Your Children – Let there be Light!

In their Bodies, let there be Light.

In their Souls, let there be Light.

In their Spirits, let there be Light.

In their Homes, let there be Light.

In their Businesses, let there be Light.

In their Towns, let there be Light.

In Cameroon, let there be Light.

And my Father and my God, I Pray that from tonight onwards; their Light will never become Darkness.

I Command Satan and all his Hosts – Leave these People alone, never trouble them again and their Lights will never go out,

It shall be well with you and your Miracles shall be Permanent.

From now on, I will only hear Good News concerning you,

So shall it be!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Now, before you Pray your Last Prayer, I want you to wave the Light and make the devil Mad – Let Him see that you already got the Light and that he can’t come near you anymore.

Wave the Light and let the Enemies know that your Light has come at Last!

Now your Final Prayer – It is between you and God now.

I don’t want you to Pay attention to anybody on your Right or Left.

You will cry to God and say:

Father, wherever I go from now on, let me Shine for You and Outshine every other Person.

Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God!!!

1. If you believed that your Time has come, lift up your hands to the Almighty God and begin to bless Him,

Say: Lord, I want to Thank You, I want to bless Your Holy Name because my Time has come at Last.

Go ahead and bless the Almighty God!

Give Him all Glory, give Him all Honour, give Him all Adoration – Say Lord, I Thank You because my Time has come at Last.

I know that You are never late; You are always on Time and I know that my Time has come at Last.

Thank You Father!

Thank You because the Time of Cameroon has come; the Time of this Region (DMC NOTES: RCCG Central Africa Region) has come; the Time for this City (DMC NOTES: The City is Douala – Which is the Commercial and Economic Capital of Cameroon) has come; the Time of our Homes has come and the Time of each and everyone of us has come.

Accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Tonight, do what You alone can do – Save Souls, heal the Sick, Perform Miracles, Perform Wonders and just let Your Name be Glorified.

At the end of it all, Please take all the Glory!

Mark 10: 46-52:

46. And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his Disciples and a Great number of People, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have Mercy on me.
48. And many Charged him that he should hold his Peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have Mercy on me.
49. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50. And he, casting away his Garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy Faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

I believed that the Miracles has started already – You can already hear the Screaming from my left.

… And you will be the Next to shout for Joy!

The Story we read to you is a Story you are fully aware of – Jesus Christ came to a City, there was a huge crowd following Him; but of all the People in the crowd, only one got a Miracle.

Tonight, at least one Person will get a Miracle – Amen!

When we say: “Let there be Light”; because you can see in the Story of Bartimaeus that he had many Problems.

But when finally he got the attention of Jesus and Jesus asked him: What do you want? His answer was: “Let there be Light”! Give me my Sight.

And the Bible says that the eyes are the Light of the body.

He (Bartimaeus) get the Light and all his Problems were solved.

In the Name of the One who sent me to Cameroon; all your Problems will end tonight – Amen!

In John 9:5; Jesus Christ said: “I Am the Light of the world”.

So, when we said: “Let there be Light”; we are actually saying: “Allow Jesus Christ to Pass by your Side”.

“Let there be Light” means you have the Ability to Prevent Light from Shinning upon you!

So, “Let there be Light” is actually an Appeal to Somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC – Allow the Light of God to Shine upon you!

It could mean that: Allow Jesus Christ to Pass by your Side!

When Jesus Christ Pass by your Side, He can Change many things immediately:

1. When Jesus Christ Pass by your Side; He can Change your Night to Day!

Because the one who was blind live his whole Life in Darkness – He doesn’t know the difference between Morning, Afternoon or Evening as everything is black to him.

But the moment his eyes opened, it means his Night Changed to Day.

And I Prophesy to Somebody here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC – Your Night will Change today (Amen)

And the implication of that is this:

I. According to Psalms 30:5 – The Bible says that weeping may endure for a Night, but Joy comes in the Morning!

II. If God Changes your Night to Day, it means – “No more Sorrow for you”!

You see when you allow Jesus Christ to Pass by your Side, according to Psalms 16:11; the Bible says: In His Presence, there is the Fullness of Joy!

There are some of us here or reading now on the Label of DMC; who has never known what is called Joy, not even to talk of “Fullness of Joy”.

Oh, there are some of us – We have Joy in certain areas of our lives, but in some other areas of our lives, there is Sorrow.

But because you came tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; in the Name that is above every other name, anything that is not allowing your Joy to be Full, will disappear tonight – Amen!

2. When Jesus Christ Pass by your Side; it means that you will no longer be Begging and you will begin to Give!

It simply means that Poverty will become a Stranger to you!

You will remember the Story in 1 Kings 17: 8-16 – There was a Widow who has only one Meal left.

But then, God Paid her a visit and from one Meal left, she became Someone who was feeding the Prophet for 2½ years.

I decree to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – Because of Tonight Meeting, you will soon become a Stranger to Poverty (Amen).

Oh you say: Can God Perform such a Miracle?

He is the Almighty and He is always on Time – When your Time comes, all you Need will be sorted out in just a Single Breakthrough!

Some of you has heard the Story before:

There was this Young Arab boy – He gave his Life to Jesus Christ in his Islamic Country and he had to run for his Life.

So he came to London without “Correct Papers” and so couldn’t get a Good job – So he got a job in a Fast Food Restaurant and the Owner Paying him anything that he wanted.

Then one day his Time came at Last – A Wealthy Arab Man came to London, he wanted to buy houses but his English was not Good.

And so whenever he sees a Good House, he will go to the Landlord: Me, House, Buy! And the Landlord will say get away from here, who told you that I wanted to sell my house?

So after going from one house to another, he was tired and hungry and he came to the Restaurant where this boy was working – He sat down and began to murmur in Arabic: Stupid People, I want to buy house but they don’t even want to sell to me.

And the boy went near to serve him and heard him speaking in Arabic and so he spoke to him in Arabic – What is the Problem sir?

And he said: Ha, you speak my Language? And you speak Englidh too? The boy said Yes!

He said that I want to buy house and I need Somebody to Interpret for me – Will you Please help me?

And the boy said: No, I can’t do that because if I loose my job here, what will I be eating?

And the Arab Man said that I will Pay you and I will Pay you very well. The boy said how much?

He said: One Million Pounds Per Day for three (3) days. The boy said, Please don’t go sir.

He went to the owner of the Restaurant: Bye bye sir.

And that one said: If you go, when you come back, I won’t give you the job again.

The boy said: I will never come back!

There is Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – You are going to say bye bye to Poverty (Amen)!

3. When Jesus Christ is Passing by your Side or when that Light is coming your way; you will suddenly cease to be a Burden and instead you will become a Blessing!

You see, when Bartimaeus was crying for Help, the reason all those People were asking him to shut up was because he has always been a Burden to them – Always begging for Money.

And they said: You mean that you are going to disturb the “Big Man of God” and you want to embarrass us again by begging?

But then, God heard him when he cried and he never begged again – He was never a Burden to anybody again.

I am decreeing to Somebody here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – You will never be a Burden again (Amen)!

• You will not be a Burden to your Family (Amen)!
• You will not be a Burden to your Church (Amen)!
• You will not be a Burden to your Nation (Amen).

But you will become a Blessing – Amen!

You know the Story in Mark 2: 1-12 – There was this Man who was carried by four People because he was Paralysed from neck downwards.

They forced their way through the roof so that they can just get him to the Light of the world.

As soon as Jesus Christ saw this boy comes through the roof, Jesus Christ took Compassion on him.

The boy was carried in but he walked out on his own – He was never a Burden again.

There was a case like that at the Redemption Camp in Nigeria.

There was this Man who was Completely Paralysed and his friends heard that Miracles were happening at the Redemption Camp and so they carried him in.

But there was a huge crowd and so by the time they arrived, the crowd was already much and Miracles were already happening.

And so his friends dropped him and said that we have brought you to the Camp, when we finished we will come back for you.

And the Man said to God – He said oh God, you see me here! They have dropped me here.

And God spoke to me that there is Someone here who said: God, you see me o! And I have seen him.

And as soon as he heard this; the Power of God came on him and suddenly he was able to Stand, he was able to Sing and he was able to Dance.

So, when the Program was over, his friends came back to where they dropped him and they couldn’t find him on the Ground.

While they were looking for him, he came from behind and tap them from.the back – Are you looking for me?

Tonight – This very Night; my God will surprise Somebody (Amen)!

By the time you are leaving this Place; even your friends won’t recognise you again – Amen!

4. And another thing that could happen when Jesus Christ is Passing by your Side or when that Light is coming your way is that any Reproach in your Life will come to an End!

You know that a Reproach is that Problem that is in your Life that People will talk more before they even talk about you!

Ask any Sunday School Child – What do you know about Bartimaeus?

And they will say: Oh, blind Bartimaeus

They are still calling him blind more than 2,000 years after he received his sight.

When People want to describe you, they look for your Problems:

• Oh, you know that Sister who should be married by now but has not yet married.
• Oh, you know that Woman who has been married 15 years ago and has no Child.
• Oh, you know that Brother who has not been Promoted for the Past 10 years.

… That is how they want to describe you.

But in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, every Reproach in your Life will disappear tonight – Amen

At least you know the Story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5: 1-14.

The Bible tells us about this Man:

• He was a Great Warrior.
• He was a Popular Man.
• He was Rich.

But then they added – But he was a Leper!

And with that “But”; they destroyed everything!

Everything in your Life that is called a Reproach; my God will wipe it away – Amen!

It has happened before and that is why I’m sure that it will happen tonight!

We had a Program at the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos State Nigeria – And the Stadium was full with People inside and outside.

And there was a Man right there at the Top of the Gallery – And he has a Big Growth (A Goitre). And there was a lady sitting by him.

And you know that if you have that kind of Problem, they will see the Goitre before they see you – So, the Sister has been looking at the Goitre with one corner eye.

Then suddenly, God spoke to me and said that there was Someone in the crowd with a Growth round his neck and that the Growth has disappeared.

And the Sister turned and suddenly see that the Man sitting next to her, the Growth has just flown away like a Bird.

She was so frightened that at the end of the Program, she trekked almost 10Km before remembering that she Parked her car at the Stadium.

You know that a Miracle is going to happen to Somebody tonight or as you read now on the Label of DMC that will frightened your Neighbour – Amen!

5. When Jesus Christ is Passing by your Side or when that Light is coming your way; your Stagnation comes to an End!

You know that Bartimaeus couldn’t move because he couldn’t see.

But the moment he received his sight, Oh he began to move.

Not only was he moving Physically; he was also moving Metaphorically – The one who used to be by the roadside became the Center of Attraction as everybody was looking at him!

I wasn’t there that Day but I’m sure that it wasn’t long after that Day that he got married because everybody wants to be close to that Man who got a Major Miracle.

Your Progress begins today and your Promotion will be Accelerated – Amen!

But you have one thing to do:

You see, in Revelation 3:20; Jesus Christ said: Behold, I Stand by the door and I knock. If you open the door to me, then I will come in unto you.

God has come all the way from Nigeria to visit you and so, it is up to you now to open the door to Him!

That is why we said: “Let there be Light!

Let the Light come into your Life – Surrender your Life to Him, open the door for Him and He will come in. And all your Problems will be over in a Single Day.

Because the Bible says: Therefore if any Man be in Christ, He is a New Creature; Old Things has Passed away, behold all Things has become New!

ALTAR CALL

So, if you have not really Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ, Please come now – Come and Stand before the Altar. Let us Pray for your Salvation.

And the moment you Surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ, everything will Change!

We are not talking about going to Church but we are talking about Surrendering your Life Completely to Jesus Christ.

He knows those who are His Own and He knows those who are Pretending.

So, if you want to truly give your Life to Jesus Christ, come now – I’m going to count from one (1) to ten (10).

Before I say ten (10); if you want to give your Life to Jesus, then come!

I’m counting now!

Now, cry to God and say: Lord, save my Soul, forgive all my sins, let Your Blood wash away all my sins and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

Go ahead and Pray for just one Minute.

Thank You Father – In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed (Amen).

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You for Your Words and Thank You for these People who has come forward to receive You.

Please receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wipe away all their sins, receive them into the Family of God and from now on, anytime they cry unto You, answer them by Fire.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

SPECIAL LET THERE BE LIGHT PRAYERS.

Now, if you have your Smart Phone here, put it to Torch Light all over the Place.

We are going to use it as a Point of Contact with God and we are going to use it as an Action of Faith.

1. You will lift your own Light to God and say:

Father, let Your Light Shine – Let it Shine upon me, upon my Family, upon my Village, upon my Town, upon my Region and upon my Nation.

Father, Please let Your Light Shine – Go ahead and Pray!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

2. Now, you are going to Pray another Prayer and you Pray it with all your Heart boldly.

And say: In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, the Light of God is Shinning on me – Satan, take your Dirty Hands off my Family and my Nation forever!

Go ahead and cry to the Almighty God!

TOPIC: MY MINISTRY VALUES

BIBLE TEXT: 2 TIMOTHY 3:10-11

Today I am going to do a Message about ICGC at 40. And I want to talk about, “MY MINISTRY VALUES.”

… What is important to me as a Minister of the Gospel.

And I am going to talk about: Ten (10) Important Values to me as a Pastor. I am a Pastor and it is important you get to know:

• Who your Pastor is?
• What is important to him?
• What is he hoping to achieve?
• What does he think his Life is all about?

Because it’s always good to know what the People you think are your Leaders consider Valuable to them.

I’ve put together Ten (10) Things I will be talking to you today about my Ministry Values – Not just Core Values, but things that guide me as a Minister of the Gospel and a Preacher of the Word of God.

And I hope that each one of them will get a Perspective that helps us – Amen.

My Bible Text is from 2 Timothy 3:10-11.

Just to give you a little background:

Timothy is a young Pastor who was Pastoring the Church in Ephesus. He was Paul’s Protege – Somebody that Paul was grooming and leading in Ministry. And Paul was very focused on Timothy’s Ministry and tried to help him to be a man of his own.

So, Paul wrote to Timothy as he was a Pastor and told him a few things, and also helped Timothy to know who Paul was and what he stood for. And our Bible Text today is part of Paul’s instructions to Timothy.

2 Timothy 3:10-11 (NKJV)

10 But you have carefully followed my Doctrine, manner of Life, Purpose, Faith, Longsuffering, Love, Perseverance,

11 Persecutions, Afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra — What Persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.

What I want to focus on in this Statement of Paul to Timothy is what he said about, “Doctrine, manner of Life, Purpose, Faith.”

Paul said to Timothy, you’ve observed these things about me:

• What my Doctrine is: that is what I teach.
• My manner of Life: the kind of Life I live.
• My Purpose, Faith and Love.
• And then he talks about his Longsuffering also, which Timothy has observed.

One of the difficulties we face sometimes as Pastors is that People judge all Pastors to behave the same way.

So, when they leave one Church and go to another, they think that the Pastor is like their former Pastor.

Even when they sit in the Service and they don’t see what they are expecting, somehow they still think it is so.

One of the things you learn about Life is that, People don’t experience Life as it is: they experience Life as the expect it to be.

Some times People are going through one thing, but their expectation is very different. And they focus on their expectation instead of the reality. And we live with People as we expect and not as they are.

For example, if you’ve had a bad Marriage before as a man, and marry a new wife; you somehow Project the bad habit from the Previous Marriage into the woman who has done nothing. And no matter how different she is from your Previous Partner, because the expectation is stronger than the reality; somehow in your Mind you think she is like that.

It’s the same way with a woman who goes to marry a new husband – Maybe you had a bad Marriage and the man mistreated you; somehow you bring the Projection of the past into the new.

I am going to tell you what my Values are.

And don’t try to project another Pastor’s Values on me – This is Mensa Otabil and what I stand for!

TEN (10) IMPORTANT VALUES TO ME AS A PASTOR

1. To Truly Know God as He has revealed Himself in Scriptures:

This is very important to me!

This is where everything starts: To know the God of the Bible. Not the god of my Ancestors, or the gods of my expectations and experiences. But the God of the Bible. Because the Bible is God’s Special Revelation to me, to you and to all of us.

Many times our view of God is not formed from the Bible – It is formed from Probably what we heard the Preacher say. Probably what somebody said or Probably our views of a certain Religion.

For most of us in Africa, our Ancestral Religion, in a lot of ways, determine what we think of the Living God.

But the Bible is the surest way to help us find God. And so, in my quest to know God, the Bible is central.

Not my Experiences, not my Dreams, not my Desires but what the Bible says about God – From Genesis to Revelation.

And that’s why in my Preaching, I endeavour to stay within Scriptures.

I don’t talk about certain things that have happened to me; but what the Scripture says. Because my desire is to know the God of the Bible – That’s my Number one (No. 1) Value.

… Because the God of the Bible is the True God is the Universe.

2. To Live out my Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through my Thoughts, Choices and Actions:

The Christian Life is a Life of Submission to Jesus Christ.

That means, to yield to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Early Apostles of Jesus Christ called themselves “Slaves of God” – That’s a very Powerful Statement.

In other words, when it comes to Christ, they had no choice but to obey Him.

And that is how I see my Christian Life – It is not about me trying to live the Life that Pleases me; but endeavouring to live my Life as Christ would want me to live through my Thoughts, Choices and Actions.

No matter how difficult it is to live the Christian Life, I must live it. And I must live it in my Thoughts, Choices and Actions.

It is not so much about the fanciful things – Being called a Man of God or being seen at a very high level.

But living the Christian Life; living it Personally, living it in my Marriage, in my family and among friends.

I want my wife to know me as a Christian – I don’t want my wife to first know me as a Man of God; I want her to know me first and foremost as a Christian.

Also, I want my children and friends to know me as a Christian.

And I want you to know me first, not as a Pastor, but as a Christian.

Because if I am not a good Christian, I cannot be a Pastor.

Everything I do as a Pastor is Premise on the fact that I am a Christian; and that I am a Follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That is a very important Value to me – To live out my Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through my Thoughts, Choices and Actions.

3. To Learn to be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s Presence and Promptings:

The Lord Jesus Christ Promised to be with us through the Holy Spirit after He has Physically ascended to Heaven. And the Holy Spirit lives within us, not outside of us.

And if the Holy Spirit lives within me, then He will lead me from within – He is not going to lead me from outside me.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t live in rivers. He doesn’t live in Mountains or trees – He lives inside my Heart.

And if He lives inside my Heart, then it is from inside my Heart that He is going to lead me.

That is why in seeking Guidance, I don’t go outside, I go within. Because the Holy Spirit lives within.

It is important that I commit my Life to the Holy Spirit and endeavour to sense His Leading;

• To what He is indicating to me and what He is doing.
• I don’t Presume that everything I feel comes from the Holy Spirit. I cannot Presume that.
• Neither can I put God on the line, so that if what I said doesn’t come to pass, they would say God has lied.
• Neither do I want to manipulate People into obeying me. By attaching the Holy Spirit to my statement.

Because if I come to you and tell you, “The Holy Spirit told me to tell you something…” Instantly, you feel compelled to do it. Because I said the Holy Spirit, you are not going to think, reason and you are not going to access whether what I said make sense or not.

So I don’t use such Phrases.

Instead you would hear me use Phrases like: “I sense, I think, I believe Strongly that this is so and so.”

That doesn’t mean I don’t hear from the Holy Spirit, or I don’t feel His Guidance.

But I want you to think when I speak, I want you to reason when I speak and I want you to make a Choice that is Compatible with your own Will and your Volution.

I don’t want you to feel, “I must do what has to be done because Pastor said the Holy Spirit told him.”

You must hear the Holy Spirit, you must make your own Choices and you must take your own Actions.

It is a Choice I have made; that I would use Phrases that allow People to think, to reason and to make Choices, based on a sense of Conviction – Not Manipulation and being Compelled.

… So I have learned to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s Presence and to His Promptings.

4. To Build my Life on a Firm Theological Base, rooted in Rigorous Bible Studies:

As a Preacher, I am an Expositor of the Bible – I cannot teach from a Place of ignorance. I cannot just Preach about my Experiences. I must seek to understand the Scriptures, so I can teach its Messages.

And knowing the Bible goes beyond knowing Verses of the Bible or Memorising Bible Verses; It requires extensive Study.

And I seek to understand that.

So I study extensively across the Ages of Christian Theology.

I seek to understand what Christians over the Ages have taught and Preached about.

I quote some writings of the Founders of different Christians Denominations; even from People whose Core Beliefs I do not share. Because I don’t like condemning People when I haven’t understood them.

I want to understand where I stand, where he stands and be able to make an intelligent Choice, that although I fully understand where he comes from, I don’t agree with his Conclusion. I don’t want to make rash Judgements.

So, I read about all Christian Faith – I read about the Catholic Faith, the Anglican Faith, the Presbyterian Faith. I read about Methodians, I understand where they come from. I understand what formulate their beliefs and I have the full grasp of what they teach.

But in the end, I have to also come to my own Conclusion based on my reading of the Scripture and how God has revealed Himself in Scriptures.

Although I may fully understand somebody, it doesn’t mean I fully agree with them. But I would not make a Point based on ignorance and I would not condemn somebody because of ignorance.

If I am going to take a stand, it has to be an informed stand. Because that is what God requires from each one of us.

*My Theological Base is very important – I study intensely, I think and reflect deeply, before I Preach. And in my Preaching I don’t quote too much from contemporary Christians – Not because they are wrong:

I believe my Theological Reflection goes deeper and wider historically, than just what contemporary People think.

5. To Develop an Inner Life of Prayer, Reflection and Self Examination:

This is very important to me!

Jesus frequently taught that, what manifests outside of us comes from within us.

What you have within you is critical to what you do outside – It’s called, Inner Life.

And I have endeavoured to build an Inner Life – An Inner Life is Life Inward.

It is Prayerful, Contemplative, it is Meditative.

I search my Heart, my motives and desires and it is me judging myself very deeply, soberly and sincerely.

I seek to know myself better than anyone would ever know. And I think very deeply about my world, about my Life, about my experiences.

I spend hours examining myself. And sometimes I can be a harsher judge of myself than anybody can ever judge me.

The Bible says, if you judge yourself, you will not be judged.

I am the first judge of myself – I judge myself so deeply, that I am not able to listen to myself Preaching.

People love hearing me, I am not able to hear myself.

Because every time I hear a recording of myself, I go into judging mood – And I start criticing everything I said. “Why did you say it that way? Couldn’t you have said it in another way?”

People get blessed listening to me but I don’t get blessed listening to me, because I judge myself.

My wife likes listening to my Messages but the moment I enter she has to put it off because I don’t like it.

That’s just me – It may be a crazy Part of me!

So, I consider Prayer as a part of my Inner Life.

Much as I believe in External and loud Prayer; I believe Prayer is not designed to Change God. Prayer is designed to Change me, so that I can conform to the Will of God.

There has to be an aspect of Prayer that helps me to Change from within and not just try to move the Hand of God as most of us like to do.

There are different forms of Prayer but I believe in an Inner Contemplative Transforming Prayer that Changes us.

6. To remain Called by God’s Grace that Saved me, Sustains me and Uses me to Serve God’s People:

I do not take the Grace of God for granted – I don’t!

• The Grace of God sought for me and saved me.
• The Grace of God Picked me in my Youth and Called me to serve God.
• The Grace of God helped me when I thought I was lost in my Life; and brought me to an awareness of God’s Sufficiency.

And I know myself more than anybody would ever know.

If it was left to me, my Personality and who I am; there is no way in God’s Earth that I would end up talking to People because I am not a Public Person – It is the Grace of God that enables me to Stand before People;

And I have been doing it for over forty (40) years – Talking to People.

I do that knowing this is not my Natural Disposition; it is God’s Grace. And it is His Gift of Grace that has allowed that to happen.

So I don’t take the Grace of God for granted – His Grace is what sustains me and uses me. And I am always in awe of the Grace of God.

7. To Share the Profound Truth of the Bible in a demystified Practical and Easy to Understand way:

One of the most important Characteristics that I have as a Pastor is to Preach from the Bible – It is a very difficult task.

The Bible is God’s Revelation to us.

However, the Bible was not written in our time; it was written in an older time, an older culture and it is different from the times we are now living in.

To understand what the Bible is saying, I have to carefully look at its Language, its Culture, the Timeframe, to understand God’s Timeless Truth. And after that, I must find a way to Communicate it to a Modern Generation.

So they can understand what God has said in time Past, and is saying to them now.

Because of that, when I teach the Bible I aim at demystifying the Bible and aim at Simplicity.

I don’t aim at Complexity; I don’t aim at blowing your Mind with something, because your Mind is already blown!

I aim at putting the Mind together. Because my aim is to Simplify the Profound Truth of God.

God’s Word is already Profound, and so I can’t make it anymore Profound – I have to simplify it.

And I follow after Jesus Christ who taught the Profound Truth of God in a very, very, simple way.

Somebody asked Jesus, who is my Neighbour? And you would think Jesus would say, “A Neighbour is No. 1, No. 2…”

Jesus said: a Man was going from Jerusalem to Jericho, he feel among Robbers.

Then He said, Nobody helped the Man, but a Samaritan.

And Jesus asked the Question: Who do you think is a Neighbour?

Jesus simplified Profound Truth! And that is what I do.

And by the way, I Prayed for that Gift for years – In my formative years I used to Pray for hours, “Lord help me to simplify Your Word; Lord give me the Wisdom to simplify Your Word.”

And I believe God is answering that Prayer.

8. I Endeavour to Point People towards Christ, and away from me:

This is not a Church you hear a Pastor telling Powerful Testimonies of his Exploits -;Christ is the Center of our lives as Christians. He is our Saviour, He is our Example. He is the One we imitate.

In all my Teachings, my Hope is that you’ll discover Christ and not discover Mensa Otabil.

And it’s very easy for Preachers to make themselves the focus of People’s Faith.

My desire is that your focus would be in Christ Jesus.

• He is the Word of God made flesh.
• He is the Ultimate Sacrifice for all Humanity.
• In Him is Life, in Him is our Hope.

If you have Faith in your Pastor it Profits you nothing because there’s nothing a Pastor can do for you.

But if your Faith is in Christ Jesus, He will make all things Possible for you, and He will not fail you.

That’s what my desire is: That you will discover Jesus Christ. That you will Love and serve Him. And you’ll center your Life around Him.

9. To see the Pulpit as a Sacred Place – Not to be Profaned or used for Personal Advantage:

Standing in front of People to speak to them is a Great Privilege I have.

It is a Powerful thing to have People sit in front of you, listening to you. And that Privilege is very easy to abuse.

Because, if we don’t understand the Privilege and the Grace that allows us to stand before People, we will abuse it.

The Pulpit is not about me – I don’t use the Pulpit to settle quarrels.

I come to encourage you, because Life is giving you bad stuff already.

My desire is to help you know that this God you serve is a Good God; that He can lift you up, bless and Prosper you.

I consider the Pulpit a very Sacred Desk, behind which I stand to do my job.

And although it is my Pulpit in the Church:

• It is God’s Place, and I must use it intentionally to represent Him.
• I must use words that Glorify Him,
• I must use Language that Glorifies Him.
• I must use temper that Glorifies Him: I cannot come and manifest anger and frustration on you.

Because that is not what the Pulpit is meant for.

And because I take the Pulpit seriously, I’m also very Selective about who comes to my Pulpit – They also have to be People who respect the Pulpit and don’t come and abuse it and use it in a Profaned way.

People think if a Pastor talks in a real way, He is being real. But Profanity is not being real. Profanity is Profanity!

10. To Seek to become the Kind of Leader I can look up to and would love to Work with:

God has made me a Leader of People – He has made me a Leader of my home as a father, He has made me a Pastor, a Leader of my Congregation. He has made me a General Overseer and the Senior Pastor of ICGC, with so many Pastors and Churches (in this Denomination).

That’s a very Powerful Place in Leadership.

Everytime I reflect as a father and a Leader of my home, I ask myself:

• If I was a child would I be happy to have me as a father?
• Am I the kind of father I would love to have; a father I can look up to?
• If I was not me, and I was my child, would I be the kind of father that I would look up to?

Because, growing up as a child, I didn’t have the best father.

Fathers have Weaknesses and Strengths; but my father’s Weaknesses were more than his Strength. And he didn’t set the best example in his Marriage.

As a father; he didn’t set the best example literarily about everything.

The Natural thing, you know “like father like son” – I should be like him. But I have said it many times that, when I was growing up, one of my Greatest desires was not to be like my father.

Unfortunately, I look like him – My voice is his voice; I have a voice tone like his (which I like).

But I try to move away as much as Possible, from the way he conducted his Marriage, the way he raised his children.

I’ve tried so hard to be very different. Because if I repeat that, my children will be like me, and I will be like my father.

… That is what people call Generational Curse.

Generational Curse is broken by Choice and Will; and I chose the Will to break it!

I want to be a different kind of Leader at home but I also want to be a different kind of Leader as a Pastor.

Now I have Pastors under me, I always ask:

• If I wasn’t the General Overseer and Senior Pastor of ICGC, would I want to be under a Leader like Mensa Otabil?
• Would I want to be a Pastor in ICGC?

I. My desire is to build a Church that people who are not the Ultimate Leaders still feel confident to operate in; because in that Place they find opportunities to be their best selves for God.

II. And it is my desire that People who serve under me don’t feel disadvantaged – They don’t feel that their lives have been shortchanged. That they have been denied Opportunities; that their Potentials have been sat on.

III. It is my desire that when People work under me, they would feel that they have the opportunity to be all the Lord wants them to be – If that is really what God wants them to be.

IV. I want to be the kind of Leader that I can work under.

You would normally ask yourself;

• If I wasn’t the Boss, would I work in this Company?
• If I was just a Staff, would I work in this Company?
• If I was a Pastor in ICGC, would I be happy?
• If I was a Staff in the Office, would I be happy?

The truth is, not everybody can get to the ultimate Top.

Most People are going to spend their lives working under somebody; spend their lives looking up to somebody.

So, those of us who have the Privilege of being the ones People work under, and People look up to; we have the great Opportunity to ensure that although they work under us, their lives and not under us! That they can truly become what God wants them to be.

And ultimately, that’s the kind of Leader I want to be:

• The kind of Leader I can work under.
• The kind of Leader I can serve.
• The kind of Leader I can respect.
• The kind of Leader I can look up to.

And in Summary, these are the Ten (10) Values that have guided me in my Ministry – I have not arrived, I am not Perfect by any Chance.

But I endeavour, I strive, I think, I Pray and I work so hard to be the kind of Person that I truly believe God has Called me to become – In my Morals, in my Thoughts, in my Actions, in my Beliefs, in my Relationship with People, in the way I love and care for People.

I want to be the kind of Person that People can truly look at and say, “he is a Christian” – that’s all.

The Greatest Honour I receive in Life is for somebody to say: That’s a Christian!

If I end up being called a Christian, I think I would have Succeeded in Life.

CLOSING PRAYER

Father, let the words of my mouth and the Meditations of my Heart be acceptable to You.

And as I have shared these with Your People, help each one here and all those reading now on the Label of DMC, to also develop the Values of their lives.

The things that are important to them and how they want to live their lives; and how they want to be known – As parents, as Business People, in every areas of their lives.

Help each one of us live Christ-Centered lives, Purposeful lives, Intentional lives, that we are building to Glorify You.

In Jesus’ Name – Amen.
