OPENING PRAYER

Father in Heaven, we want to give You Praise. We lift up Your Name because You are the Highest; You are the Deepest, You are the Widest. There is no one that can be compared to You!

You are so Pure, that even among the People that dwell in Your Territory above, You still see something that is not clean enough.

We Thank You for Calling us to be Your children; to be Your sons and daughters – Not because we merit it or we have done anything to be called Your son or Your daughter.

But Father, because Your Own Volition and Your love has qualifies us. We want to say Thank You!

Thank You for Healing, Thank You for Salvation, Thank You for Joy! Thank You for sustaining this great Church – the Organization RCCG.

Thank You for sustaining our Leaders – Daddy E.A. Adeboye and his family. Thank You for sustaining all our Leaders. Oh God, we say THANK YOU.

We Worship Your Name that in this Period of Covid-19, You have never allowed anyone to a Partaker of evil.

And THANK YOU for keeping all Your children across the Globe. To You be all Glory, Honour and Praise. We Worship and we Bow before You. Take all the Glory in Name of Jesus!

Lord we are here to Study Your Word again, You are the WORD from the beginning. Holy Spirit, You are the Great Teacher – teach all of us together again today.

I confess my Ignorance and my knowledge of nothingness; so I Pray that I will disappear and You will appear.

The HOLY GHOST, by the Power of the Anointing – You will move; and No One will go through this Study and remain the same.

Oh God we Pray that Your Word will receive the backing of Heaven and the Holy Ghost will lead the way and I will follow.

Let there be Salvation, let there be Restitution, let there be Comfort and let there be Healing.

We Worship You Oh God because You Own it! We Bless and Praise Your Name.

Lord, I release my head, my mouth and my heart to You; that everyone that will be listening across the Globe, we Pray that together, You will encourage and mould our lives in accordance to Your Will.

Thank You our Maker because it is done already! We give You Glory, and Honour and Praise.

In Jesus’ Most Mighty Name we Pray – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

We want to Thank the Lord for the privilege that I’m given again by my father in the Lord, to stand on this Podium.

God will continue to increase our dear daddy.

I’m so privileged as a young Boy to just walk alongside with him – His Anointing will never go STALED!

And everyone supporting his Ministry, supporting him – God will raise Helpers of Destiny for you – Amen!

… And I want you to say that Amen and swallow the saliva – Amen (DMC Family also did theirs).

Today, I want to speak on: ELIMINATING THOSE LITTLE FOXES

And we are going to read from Song of Solomon 2:15;

“Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender Grapes.”

May the Lord Bless the Reading and Hearing of His Words in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

Solomon, the wisest King and the great Preacher said this: Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender Grapes.

When an enemy intends to invade any Territory, the first (1st) thing they do is not to send the whole Army or the whole Soldiers because they can easily be recognised.

When they want to gain foothold in the enemy’s Territory, they only send a few Platoons so that they will not be noticed.

They just send them secretly by dropping the Parachutes unnoticed because you can’t easily recognize the small Units.

And so, the small units will go unnoticed and they will be able to get the work done – They open up, before sending the real Force!

Now, the same Method is what Satan usually applies!

Little sins are much more likely to be overlooked than what People call ‘BIG’ sins.

All sins – big or small; all Unrighteousness is SIN.

And the reason why we need to go over this is because many times we try to sectionalize, categorize and group (as it were) SINS.

But then, the Bible says: “Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender Grapes.”

The Book of 2 Samuel 11:1-7; David – at a time People had gone to War, he was at home relaxing. And his eyes SAW what he shouldn’t have seen.

And that led to adultery!

From adultery to murder, and before you know it, the Kingdom of the man that God Promised became shaken.

Now, in the Book of 1 Kings 13:7-24, a Man of God from Judah that went to Bethel by the Word of the Lord – The Young Prophet (as it were): he finished the work, and the only thing he did was that his Obedience wasn’t totally complete.

The Lord said: Don’t eat, don’t do this one – Just one sin and his life was totally destroyed!

In the Book of James 3:3-5, the Bible says in verse 5: “Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!”

Little things can develop into big things. Big sins are sometimes easier to deal with than little ones!

We often take care of ‘BIG’ sins (as categorized by humans); but little sins – you need to watch out for them.

The TEXT we read says: LITTLE FOXES THAT SPOIL THE VINE.

It says: Little sins can make People fall – Little sins!

Many Christians today are guilty, by just overlooking little sins.

They say: As long as I don’t get drunk, as long as I didn’t rob the Bank, as long as I didn’t commit adultery, as long as it is still alright with everybody.

And we end up with what we Categorise as ‘Acceptable’ sins.

I don’t mean that they are acceptable to God: but our we have categorized them ‘Acceptable!’

But all sins – little or big; ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE TO GOD.

In the Book of Habakkuk 1:13, it says: “Thou art of Purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:”

… That is GOD!

Sir/Ma, watch out for LITTLE FOXES! – Little foxes that can TEAR you down; little foxes that can destroy your home; little foxes that can destroy your marriage; little foxes that can separate you from God; little foxes that can hinder your Prayer Life; little foxes than can destroy your Ministry; little foxes than can reverse you back to the beginning – And you start all over again.

Little foxes than can stunt your Spiritual Growth; Little foxes than can cause you stress; Little foxes than can keep you revolving in circles – Even in your Church, even in your Homes; that can drain your purses. Little foxes than can block your Blessings.

There could be little Foxes affecting your life, affecting your relationship.

We need to DEAL with it; because if we fail to do that, they may DEAL with us.

Now, from where we read, the Bible says that the Grape is Good but little foxes can destroy it.

And this may look insignificant (as it were) but they may dent our Spiritual Garment.

Let us look at SEVEN (7) OF THOSE LITTLE FOXES.

That is what we are going to look at today:

1. The Fox of WHITE LIES.

Lying is an act of deception – And act of deception is a LIE.

Remember Annaias and Sapphira in Acts 5:2-10 – The Lied!

They owned the Property, they sold it, but they LIED.

Peter asked: you sold it – they said Yes! And you brought all the money to God? – They said it is TOTAL.

… And they were destroyed because they lied.

The simple act of deception was a lie, and they DIED – because they lied.

I am not going on that round today. Because there are SEVEN (7) CATEGORIES/TYPES OF LIE:

We have:

• Error: you told the lie by mistake. I don’t want to be explaining.
• Omission
• Restructuring
• Denial
• Minimization
• Exaggeration and
• Fabrication.

… They are ALL Categories of Lie!

That is not where I’m going today.

But if God enables us, maybe at another forum we will be able to discuss these on detail.

But in Psalms 119:163; says: “I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.”

In Ephesians 4:15; the Bible says: “But speaking the Truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:”

And Ephesians 4:25 says: “Wherefore Putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.”

If I ask you: What is your name? – You tell me your name, simple!

If I ask you what is my name? – You tell me!

But is if I ask you: what is the first name of my dad? – If you don’t know it, say you don’t know it!

But the moment you are saying: hmmm! – That fellow wants to lie.

And you need a lot of wisdom to tell a lie.

Sir, you need a lot of wisdom to cover it up – But demonic wisdom indeed!

And today, People have categorized lie – they say lie doesn’t hurt.

But whatever it is, it is a little fox!

And today, even our local Parlance is very deceptive – In my own language (Yoruba in Nigeria), when you are going – you say, I’m coming!

… That is a LIE!

I mean, you should Watch: it is contrary to the Words of the Bible.

2. The Fox of GLUTTONY.

In Proverbs 23:20-21. Now it says: “Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.”

… Waoooo!!!

I like what that 1 Corinthians 9:27 says about that.

Now listen to what it says: “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have Preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

Gluttony is a little fox, and many People eat excessively as a way of life and think little or nothing about it. And they point a finger of condemnation to somebody who is an adulterer, immoral Person, a drunkard, a smoker, a dupe.

And they don’t know that what they are doing is also one of the BIG SINS – according to those who categorise sin.

Overeating is a SIN! Gluttony is a sin; because it’s an act of selfishness.

A Glutton is stuffed and allows others go hungry.

More than half of the world’s Population today, go to bed hungry every night. Thousands die daily of hunger.

The Glutton is saying: I don’t care about your Needs; once my Need is met, I don’t really care about yours!

In 1 John 3:17; the Bible says “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”

My father in the Lord, in one (1) of his teachings during this lockdown Period that we are Leaping Up!

He said: Whatsoever you don’t Need (that are just there in your house), all the food, clothes, etc. He said we should give them to those are are in Need.

… Have you done it? Have I done it?

It is my Prayer, that God of Heaven will deliver us from this Little Foxes, in Jesus’ Name – Amen.

Everyday, thousands of People are dying because of overeating – and many years of Service to God are lost!

We are to take care of the Temple of God (our body); so that we can Glorify God with our body.

I Pray today, for someone reading now on the Label of DMC: that God of Heaven will take over the affairs of your life and my life, in the Name of Jesus.

3. The Fox of GOSSIP.

Now, what is Gossip?

It is sharing false or negative information about a Person – that is not a part of a Problem or Solution.

Sharing Information!

When things happen – did you hear what they said?

Proverbs 16:27-28 says: “An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.”

Now, Gossip is Ungodly; according to verse 27A – It is ungodly!

How can you be discussing Church? If not for Progress. You are discussing Pastors. How can you be discussing other People?

In that verse 27, it says gossip is destructive: And in his lips there is as a burning fire.

That is what the Bible says!

Gossip destroys friendship – That is what verse 28 says:_And a whisperer separateth chief friends

Proverbs 11:13; says: “A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a Faithful spirit concealeth the matter.”

In Proverbs 17:20; it says: “He that hath a froward heart findeth no Good: and he that hath a Perverse tongue falleth into mischief.”

There are People who don’t see anything Good in others – Fault finders!

In James 4:11, the Bible commands us:

“Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a JUDGE.”

Ephesians 4:29; says: “Let no corrupt communication Proceed out of your mouth, but that which is Good to the use of edifying, that it may Minister Grace unto the hearers.”

Anyone who do gossip, God is not happy with you but you can repent today!

HOW TO HANDLE GOSSIP?

Let me mention quickly:

Refuse to listen – When that bring gossip to you. Your reply should be;

“I’m sorry, go and confront the fellow with the situation; go and talk to that person.

Because, anyone who gossips others to you, when they leave you – they go to gossip you to others!

How can you be commenting on another man’s wife?

She’s fat – Is she your wife? She is thin … I mean, her husband is fat – is he your husband?

How can you be commenting on someone’s children – See how that child is! Do your own Business.

4. Little Fox of JUDGING OTHERS.

In Matthew 7:1-5 – our Master (Jesus) says we should not Judge other People.

Now, in Romans 14:1-13; the same thing was repeated.

… Please, don’t try to judge others!

I. Now, Jumping into conclusion is a little fox in Judging others!

Now, David and Prophet Nathan – you remember that story in 2 Samuel 12:1-7. There was a scenario that Prophet Nathan brought before David.

And David said: the fellow must die!

The Prophet said – THOU ARE THE MAN!

Romans 14:4 says “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.”

… Who made you a JUDGE?

II. Now, those who are quick to Judge, one of the things you will notice (like David) is that: They are guilty of jumping into conclusion.

Now, David took action before he realised himself.

Those who Judge should wait before taking action, or at least consider the matter critically before they act.

And the result is usually unpleasant, because it would have caused great damages.

And another thing you will notice there is that: We should take caution before jumping into conclusion because you might be guilty of destroying innocent fellow. And you might be guilty of destroying yourself.

III. Our Judgement should be tempered with Mercy – James 2:13.

… Foxes that destroy the Vine!

And I Pray (with my eyes closed): that God of Heaven will deliver us from all these little FOXES, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

5. The Fox of LITTLE LAZINESS.

“Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy Poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.” – Proverbs 6:10-11.

Laziness spoils the vines of Industry and Success. Laziness spoils the vines of Ministry.

… Ultimately, the lazy Person will come to Poverty.

A little laziness grows bigger! – A lazy Person gets even lazier!

They are lazier because they are lazy.

And I have seen so many young People being imprisoned by their Certificates: “I can’t do Black Collar Jobs, I can’t do Green Collar Jobs, I can’t do Brown Collar Jobs!”

… They are looking for White Collar Jobs!

Where will you get it? – Go and create one!

Green Collar Job – Farming; Brown Collar Job – the People working at Building Sites; Black Collar Job – Is when you begin to Fry Bean Cake (Akara Balls) and all the likes!

But many People can’t do that! – Yet they sleep, or watch Africa Magic.

Wake Up! – Get out of bed; get busy before it iß too late!

That is why you are Poor.

Help! Help me!! – Why should they help you?

Those helping you, are they not working?

“They refuse to help me, that my brother is very stingy.”

Before you beg him: Ask him how he got there! – You just want to jump into it.

Some of you say: “When I start my own Business!”

Tell me, how can you be a Teacher – The time you are supposed to teach, you are selling wears and shoes.

Government Workers; every time, “Sick Leave”. And you go for your Personal Business – Lazy!!!

… Sorry, I apologise, if I hit you hard but a little sin is a SIN before God and it destroys the Vine.

6. The Fox of COVETOUSNESS.

What is the Definition of Covetousness?

“… An Uncontrolled desire to ACQUIRE”

This Covid-19 pandemic has turned some People to Habitual, Perpetual, Proactive BEGGARS.

They say: You know how difficult the Town is. You know how hard things are! And they have enough, but they are telling lies.

Sending SMS to People: Please help me ooooo, I don’t have something to eat – Yet they are lying!

Sir/Ma, there is nothing you brought into this life, and there is nothing you can carry out.

You know, People are just acquiring things.

… And it is the opposite of Contentment.

And this Particular Fox called Covetousness is difficult to control for two (2) reasons:

I. Advertisement didn’t help us – So they stimulate their desire to acquire things.

II. They lay so much emphasis on People who have more.

Our Culture says if you are successful, you will have so many Possessions.

That is why those who are stealing Millions, are happy and go for Chieftaincy Titles and somebody who steals a cellphone of five thousand Naira (N5,000) is sentenced to seven (7) Years Imprisonment.

Both are Thieves!

Whether ‘Pen Robber’ or ‘Armed Robber’ – A thief is a thief.

There is no category of thief.

So, we are taught, if it feels good – That is okay!

And in Exodus 20:17, the Bible says: “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.”

Don’t try to COMPARE!

Romans 7:7; says: “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.”

Don’t covet your neighbour’s wife, servants, donkey – If God is doing Good to your neighbour it means God is in the neighbourhood – He will soon get to your house.

So Note HOW GOD sees Covetousness – in SEVERAL PLACES:

And I don’t have all the time to be able to List them. But in the Book of Romans 1:28-31; God gave the characteristics of those with a Reprobate mind.

Guess which one out of the ten (10) is the first (1st)? – COVETOUSNESS – is one (1) of the sins listed!

In 1 Corinthians 6:9; Paul gave a List of those who will not inherit the Kingdom of God – That includes Covetousness, along formication, Idolater.

In Ephesians 5:5, Paul said: “For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.”

And when he was talking to Timothy, he was also warning him. That in the last days this will come!

I Pray today, that every Spirit of covetousness; I repeat – every Spirit of covetousness, God will DESTROY it from our lives, in our lives in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

So, What should be your Guiding Point on this Note?

Hebrews 13:5; says: “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

… God has made us a Promise!

7. The Fox of ANGER.

This is another little fox that has sneaked into the Vineyard.

The Wise King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 7:9; “Be not hasty in thy Spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.”

I like what Charles Sturgeon said about anger. He defined it accurately the way I want it. He said:

Anger is a temporary insanity; it arouses the tongue and spew out Poisonous Venom.

I mean, a relationship can be destroyed just in seconds – Husband and wife kissing themselves and then something happens thereafter, and you will hear: I will DIVORCE you – ANGER!

So, God said (in His Words) specifically in Ephesians 5:2 that we should WALK IN LOVE!

Anger causes a lot of Problem: Sleeplessness Nights, Headaches, Indigestion – All kinds of things!

Don’t feed that Anger anymore: WALK IN LOVE – And Walking in Love is Maturity.

… TAKE the Little Foxes that destroy the Vine away!

HOW THEN DO I TAKE THEM AWAY?

Let me quickly outline and mention SEVEN (7) THINGS.

I will just mentioned them without discussing them:

1. If the Little Foxes are dangerous, then YOU MUST WATCH.

WATCH! Jesus said to us in the Book of Matthew 26:41 – He said Watch therefore…

2.Confess and Renounce every “KNOWN SINS” in your life.

CONFESS! – Proverbs 28:13; says “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have Mercy.”

3. You need to CRY for INTERVENTION.

CRY for intervention!

The Children of Israel in Exodus 2:23-25; they cried out and told the Lord: Please deliver us!

They cried out to the Lord: “And it came to Pass in the Process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.”

They CRIED out – and God heard: “And God heard their groaning, and God remembered His Covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.”

… CRY OUT! You are too COLD FOR COMFORT.

I read a Novel many years ago (in the Pacesetter Series) – “Too Cold for Comfort”.

4. Take responsibility for your Freedom.

… TAKE Responsibility for your Freedom!

David took responsibility for the freedom of the People of Israel in 1 Samuel 17:32 when he said: I WILL GO.

In Galatians 5:1, it says: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

You stand:God will give you the Strength.

Take Responsibility – Don’t push it, don’t throw it to someone else.

5. Begin to WALK in the Light of the Word of God.

In the Book of Daniel 11:32b: the Bible says: “But the People that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

Get a thorough sense of Spiritual Law – Get a thorough sense of the Word of God.

6. DEAL with the Little Foxes – by getting them KILLED.

Deal with it!

They must be rounded up and be put to dead.

Galatians 5:24.

You must round them up, and kill those Foxes.

Now, in James 4:7, it says RESIST!

In 1 Peter 5:9, it says: RESIST!!!

… You need to resist the enemy.

So, the Little Foxes, you need to get them KILLED.

In the Book of Judges 15:4-5, that is how Samson dealt with those little Foxes in his days.

So, you need to do that!

7. The way to Kill the Little Foxes is to RELY on the Holy Spirit.

Rely on the Holy Spirit – you can’t do it with your Human Spirit.

“It is Not by might, nor by Power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” – Zechariah 4:6.

And in the Book of Galatians 5:16, it says: “Live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desire of the flesh.”

Could it be that these Little Foxes are the ones troubling your life – That is why the Blessings of God has not been realized in your life?

Could it be the reason why you are still on the same Level?

Could it be the reason why you have PRAYED and FASTED and nothing seems to be working?

You can Deal with it today – Tomorrow may be TOO LATE!

ALTAR CALL

If you are not yet Born Again, please, get Born Again – DO IT NOW!!!!

A Notorious Palm Wine drunkard and chain smoker got Converted. And the People said: That cannot be possible!

So, they invited him to a Party. When People saw him, they said: We said it, it cannot be you who is now Born Again.

But after a while, he said this is not the Place I should be – he left them.

… Do you want to go all out?

Alexander the Great; one of his soldiers was called Alexander. He called the fellow and said to him: I heard you are bearing the same name with Great Man. He said, there are two (2) things you need to do:

You need to “Own Up”, go to the Jungle and Fight – and become Great like Alexander the Great; or you drop the Name!

How can you be called a Christian and you don’t live up to the name?

They don’t even like your Christ because of the way you behave.

… Bow your head with me, wherever you are.

If you want to give your life to Jesus – I’m giving you the opportunity now. I will Pray with you.

Just tell the Lord: Remove these Little Foxes. I’m ready to cooperate with You.

Thank You Father!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

Lord, Thank You for all the People that have heard Your Words today or read it on the Label of DMC.

We have been able (Oh God) to examined the LITTLE FOXES THAT DESTROY VINES.

I Pray for all those People who are giving their lives to Jesus; Lord I ASK that You will SAVE them and DELIVER them oh God today, from the Power of sin.

Deliver them from Sin – either little or big!

And those who still harbour sin under hypocritical attitudes, Please, have Mercy on them: let them realise their Destiny.

Let these Words bring us to a Level of being able to Stand and remain Strong for You.

Thank You Father!

And when the Roll is Called Up in Heaven, let us make it with You.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Pray – AMEN!

OPENING PRAYER

Father; we Thank You! That is the cry of our heart of Worship: To Know You, to Serve You, and to go Deeper with You.

And so we Say Thank You because You are there – You didn’t hide Yourself from us. Thank You for what You have done before!

King of kings, Lord of lords, the Almighty and Unchangeable Changer; we Worship and Adore Your Name!

You are Dependable, and are Reliable – Thank You for Healing, Thank You for Salvation, Thank You for Deliverance, Thank You for Making Way where there is no Way.

Thank You because You are the Life Giver; Oh God we say Thank You.

Accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus!

We are here today again on this Digging Deep Day. Father, take us DEEPER and HIGHER in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Everyone whose heart is after God; whose heart Pants after God; we ask that today, Jehovah God, You will “ADD VALUES” to their lives, in the Name of Jesus!

I Pray that on this Particular Platform – given to me by my Father and my Leader, I will not do violence to Your Word!

I Pray that I will disappear and You will appear.

And I Pray that every Word that the Holy Spirit will use my mouth to speak today, will be approved Words that will meet our Needs – including me that as You use my mouth to say it, in the Name of Jesus!

Let there be Healing, let there be Joy and let there be a Desire to go DEEPER and HIGHER with You!

We Thank You our Maker! What a Great and a Good God that You are!

And Lord, at the end of this Particular Digging Deep, let us have ALL the Reasons to Glorify Your Name.

Thank You Eternal Father! We give You Glory and Honour.

Praise the LORD – Hallelujah!!!

Today, we are going to look at: “TOUCHED BY GOD OE BY GOLD?

Because in the life we live, there are People that are TOUCHED by GOD, and there are people that are Touched by GOLD.

So we are going to read from the Book of 1 SAMUEL 10: 24-27;

24 And Samuel said to all the People, See ye him whom the Lord hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the People? And all the People shouted, and said, God save the king.

25 Then Samuel told the People the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the Lord. And Samuel sent all the People away, every man to his house.

26 And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of MEN, WHOSE HEARTS GOD HAD TOUCHED.

27 But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought no Presents. But he held his Peace.

May the Lord bless the Reading and Hearing of His Words, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

… MEN, WHOSE HEARTS GOD HAD TOUCHED.

Now, when you read verse 24 for example, the Bible talks about the man that was CHOSEN.

When God chooses a man, that man is Peculiar, Unique, Different – There is not any other!

Well, I want to say there is nobody like you on Earth: Unique, different, adequate, accurate and you are the best of your type!

Anyone shorter than you is too short; taller than you, too tall; fatter than you, too fat; thinner than you, too thin!

Anyone who is not your size: Lighter than you, too light. Darker than you, too dark.

… You are Just the BEST Specie of your life!

Many a times you need to work and release some inertia.

Don’t let anyone deceive you: oh, he is too short! – He is Jealous of you.

He is too tall! – He is Jealous of you.

So, you are the BEST Specie of your life; so enjoy the way God created you.

So, God chose this man among his People; although it was something else he was looking at, when the Lord took him and picked him up to do certain things.

… That one is for another day because it is another Sermon entirely; another Digging Deep entirely.

But let me say that: Christianity these days is turning to a different thing, other than what it used to be!

It is a race for everyone; a New Thing in Town – Everybody wants to become.

… Yes, I want to become a Christian.

But there are only a few whose hearts GOD HAS TOUCHED.

I Pray you will not be among the Mixed Multitudes, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

You are not truly a Christian if God has not TOUCHED your heart. And the Touch of God transforms, translates from darkness to Light.

The TOUCH of God, will bring you from low level of life to the Next Level of life.

For Government to succeed, any Organization to succeed, for Home to succeed, Friendship to succeed, for Marriage to succeed; there must be Men and Women – People whose HEARTS have been TOUCHED BY GOD!

Saul was Anointed, and a Part of the men whose heart God has Touched – Others were children of Belial.

Different things appeal to different People: Some People are TOUCHED by GOD, other People are TOUCHED by GOLD!

I Pray today, that the God of Heaven will TOUCH your heart – Amen!

You know, some People, what touches their heart is MONEY! – Anything that does not have money in it, they don’t want to be involved.

They are in Church, but they are not Touched; they are in Church, but they are not Cultured; they are in Church, but they are not Transformed – They are just there in the Church!

They are only moved by GOLD, not by God – They are moved by Material Things!

There is nothing you will tell them – if money is not involved.

Even when you ask them to render Services in the Church (laughs!) – Service to their Maker; they ask ‘How much are you Paying me?’

While some are touched by GOD not by GOLD!

There is no way you will find God that you will not find Gold.

Now, there is no way you tell them something; buy me this thing – they add a little.

You give them Contracts, they double or triple the Price.

And they say: I am Born Again – They Speak in Tongues to let you know they are really Born Again!

But remember, if you are Born Again (as you Profess) and you are not free, from the “god of Gold”; the Judgement of such People will be greater because they are hearing the Word of God.

Now, it is because they know this: That servant who knows the Will of his Master and didn’t do it, will receive many, many lashes; many cane, more than the People who are outside.

So, God must touch your heart.

Whosoever touches your heart Pulls your heart!

If God touches your heart, then you will be Pulled by Him and if Gold touches your heart, you will be Pulled by the same.

Money is not evil, money is Armoury. Money assumes the Position of anybody who has it.

I Pray on this Platform, and with my eyes closed and even as you are reading now on the Platform of DMC; May God give us MEN whose hearts are TOUCHED BY GOD, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

What are the THINGS you can see in the lives of People whose Heart God has TOUCHED?

… What the things that you will see in their lives?

1. Obedient to God and to Constituted Authority.

But those who are touched by GOLD, they believe in Sacrifice rather than Obedience.

I Thank God for my father in the Lord, that from time to time, he takes a cue from what the Bible teaches.

1 Samuel 15:22-23, look at what the Bible says:

“Samuel said, Hath the LORD has great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the Word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”

… Obedient to God’s Instructions and Constituted Authority.

God must continually touch your heart – It is not just a Momentum Thing; it has to be Progressive!

… There must be Renewal on daily basis.

Wherever you see rebellion, you see Men whom the devil has touched.

David, had so many Problems; he had so many deficiencies but he always return to give Glory to God!

No wonder in Acts 13:22; this is what the Bible says: “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart who shall fulfill all my Will.”

That’s No. 1 – They are Obedient to God and Constituted Authority.

2. They can be in the midst of sinners, but they can never be mistaken for one!

Daniel 1:8, now here is what the Bible says: “But Daniel Proposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the Portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the Prince of the Eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”

Now, listen to this: They can live among SINNERS, but they will not contaminate themselves. They are in the Society, but they are Standing Out.

They may be in Politics – I have heard People say: I cannot be in Politics, I cannot be a Policeman.

And I ask them; who will defend your country? Who will sustain Rules? Who will make Policy?

They say: Politics is a ‘Dirty Game!’

Who will wash it? Is it not Light!

You know what? – Absence of Light makes darkness to continue.

I mean, ask God what He wants you to go and do there – If God wants you to be involved, go there and Shine your light.

Thank God for the few People; not only in Nigeria, across the Globe who are in Politics.

And they are holding the “Scepter of Righteousness”.

Here in Nigeria; they are in the Police, they are in the Army – They are almost everywhere!

So, when you find them in the Society in anywhere: they are there, they cannot be contaminated.

You see them, they live among sinners but you can’t mistake them for sinners because they are Standing Out!

Now Daniel, he had excuse to give but he said No!

In Daniel 6:1-3; an Excellent Spirit was found in him!

… Unlike Esau, who sold his Birthright because of a meal.

Joseph, remember that Young Man who had a vision?

He had the opportunity to succumb to the Persuasion of his Master’s wife but in Genesis 39:11-18; he determined, No, No, No!

I’d rather People see my nakedness outside than for the devil to see it on the Bed of Adultery.

Hey! Young People of God, People of God, Ministers of God, Believers in Christ: as my father in the Lord would say: When you have “Sexual Temptation”; it is a time for you to FLEE, and not a time to dialogue.

Sometimes, you need to PUSH either the brother or the sister.

I didn’t say you should fight; but if you need to actually apply force to save yourself; Hey! Maybe a small slap.

But I don’t mean you should fight.

… Just to get yourself out of that distraction.

Now, in the struggle between Joseph and the woman; he pushed and Probably his clothes was torn.

He said, okay! I’m naked – let People see my nakedness outside than for the devil to see it on the Bed of Adultery.

He STOOD OUT because his heart was after the Kingdom.

And Jesus said in Matthew 6:33: Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all His righteousness….

May God give us men and women, whose hearts, God has TOUCHED – Amen!

May you be one of them; may I be one of them in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

3. Nothing is able to SEPARATE them from the LOVE OF GOD.

No Tribulation, no Trial – Nothing is able to diminish their Loyalty.

Do you know when it comes to Loyalty, they put him there!

I like Paul, in the Book of Romans 8:35-37; very, very Powerful and Instructive.

Here is what he said:

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall Tribulation, or Distress, or Persecution, or Famine, or Nakedness, or Peril, or Sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are More than Conquerors through Him that loved us.”

I Pray: God will give us men and women, whose hearts God has TOUCHED, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

If you are the one, tell your neighbour: God will give us men and women whose hearts have been TOUCHED by Him, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

No. 1 is that they are Obedient to Constituted Authority.

No. 2 they may be in the middle of sinners but they can never be mistaken for one.

No. 3 Nothing is able to separate them from the Love of CHRIST. And:

4. They PANT after GOD and the THINGS of God.

… Some People Pant after GOLD and abandon GOD!

BUT FOR THESE ONES:

JOB – in the Book of Job 13:15, he said: “Even if God kills me, I will still trust Him.”

No matter what they face; they may loose all kinds of things but their trust in God is as Solid as the Rock.

ESTHER – In the Book of Esther 4:14 – Esther said: “if I Perish I PERISH.”

The three (3) Hebrews – in Daniel 3:14-17; they said: “If it be so because we are not Prepared to Worship any other god;”

“Because our God is able to deliver us. Even if He doesn’t deliver us, we are going”.

DANIEL – In the Book of Daniel 6:10-20; his heart was fixed! – Nobody must Pray.

Daniel said: This is a joke, I cannot but Pray.

He Prayed his normal times.

When your heart is after GOD, lions cannot eat you – You become a Taboo, a Meat that is ‘Touch Not’ for lions.

5. They are True Disciples: And they are Disciplined, they are Dedicated, they are Committed and Sacrificial – as it where!

… They can give anything to God; not easily given in to greed.

2 Samuel 23:13-14; is the story of the Great Men of David, who went and fetched him water – Precious Water!

The Bible says, David said: Hey! This is the blood of the People that went in Jeopardy of their lives (to fetch the water).

He could not drink it – he Poured it out unto the LORD!

Can you give that thing to Christ?

God has been asking you to turn your house to a House Fellowship Center, but you have joined the queue of the People who are saying: It is because of Covid-19!

I mean, God has been asking you: Give that House for Evangelism; give that Thing but you say NO!!!

Look at Father Abraham! He was called father of Faith although he operated under the “Old Testament Covenant”, we have a better Grace.

But I Pray that God will give me the Faith of Father Abraham – Amen!

Now, Abraham, the child he waited for – for many years: in Genesis 22:10-12; God said: I need that child.

… Abraham was WILLING to Sacrifice the boy!

When last did you Sacrifice for God?

… God Understands!

Some People have turned themselves to beggars because of Covid-19 – They have things but are still begging.

You are cursing yourself!

You have something but you are still hiding under Covid-19 to amass things – I am afraid!

The are Disciples – They are Disciplined, they are Dedicated, they are Committed and they are Sacrificial.

That is who they are!

6. They are Good GIVERS, Cheerful GIVERS, Generous GIVERS.

Those whose hearts God has TOUCHED; they give Him Gifts.

That is where we read – But children of Belial say – No, we can’t give You any Gift.

… They refused!

I have told you humorously, in one of our Digging Deeps; in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7.

The Bible says: God loves a Cheerful Giver.

But God will not refuse a Grumbling Giver – He loves a Cheerful Giver but if you are a Grumbling Giver, He will still take it because you did not come to this world with clothes from above. Kings, Princes, Presidents – We all came naked.

Today, People are contending about Giving Tithes.

Why are People contending with what the Almighty God is a asking for?

… They refuse to bring Him Gifts!

Those whose Hearts are TOUCHED Pay Tithes without delay, First Fruits and Offering, bountifully – Those whose hearts are TOUCHED.

… You don’t need to Preach to them, to be able to offer their GOLD.

In the Book of 1 Chronicles 11:1-47; it is talking about the Men of David – Who helped him to become Strong.

Please stop accumulating and ‘Bring’ mentality. Put something down.

Help me tell your neighbour: Wherever you are watching me or reading now on the Label of DMC – “POUR SOMETHING DOWN.”

… And the last one on this Segment;

7. They can do ANYTHING for GOD.

When you find them in Leadership, you can trust them.

There are some People today, give little assignment to them, you won’t find them.

They will say: YES SIR!

When there are Benefits to gain, you will see them coming to Church regularly but as soon as they get it, they will disappear.

When it is time to distribute things in Church, you will see them there. But once they get it, you won’t see them again.

Those whose hearts are TOUCHED by GOD are not so – They are like the Mighty Men of David in 2 Samuel 23:13-17. David relied on them!

You can trust them with the work of God!

HOW CAN I BE TOUCHED BY GOD?

… Let me quickly run down maybe five (5) or seven (7) of them:

1. You must allow your heart to be CIRCUMCISED to the Lord.

Without Genuine Circumcision of your heart, you cannot be TOUCHED by God.

Jeremiah 4:4, it says:

“Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.”

You must go beyond – ‘I am Born Again’; and do something that makes your heart Pant after Him.

… How can I be TOUCHED by God?

2. Know who you are in God.

Your level in God is not the same level with devil.

Your level Changed in Christ.

Psalms 82:6 says: You are a god.

My father in the Lord Preached a Sermon a while ago: ” The son of God is a god!”

Because the son a lion is a lion; the son of dog is a dog and the son of God cannot be otherwise!

So you are god!

No wonder Ephesians 2:6 says: “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus:”

Luke 10:19 says: “Behold, I give unto you Power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the Power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

See yourself the way God sees you.

According to 1Peter 2:9: “But ye are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, an Holy Nation, a Peculiar People; that ye should shew forth the Praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his Marvellous Light:”

And not like the Spies in Numbers 13:31-33 – You are not a Grasshopper!

3. You must be CONSTANT with Him.

According to 2 Timothy 4:2 – “Be Instant in Season and out of Season.”

4. Know Him MORE.

The more you know God, the more your level changes.

Philippians 3:10 says: “That I may know Him, and the Power of His Resurrection, and the Fellowship of His Sufferings, being made Conformable unto His Death;”

Even if you can’t trace God, continue to trust Him.

“The bankruptcy of the knowledge of God is the undoing among many Christians today – When you go for God, GOLD will come!

He says when you aspires to know Him, then, you will never EXPIRE. – You need to go for Him for your desires to come.

5. Grow Up in Him.

There is no end to the Growing in CHRIST – In your Prayer life, in your Fasting life, intake of the Word of God.

… You must Keep GROWING!

Hebrews 5:12 and 2 Timothy 2:13 – They are saying the same thing: You NEED TO GROW UP.

You can’t get to any level in life without Growing Up!

The other day my father in the Lord was talking, and he said: You know I have not even started with the Word of God!

And I said: With great things that God has done for him?

So, I went home that night, I told my wife: Please, I want to go to the Altar to Pray.

If Daddy said he has not even started, maybe I haven’t been born yet!

So, I went to the Altar – I said God Please, the Prayer that Daddy GO Prayed: If You are not going to use me in this Generation, Please You better terminate my life.

… GROWING UP!

6. Be FERVENT in the Spirit.

Do not be Lackadaisical in your Spiritual life.

Romans 12:11 says: You must be DILIGENT, you must believe in the Power you carry.

According to Luke 10:19, God has already empowered you to subdue the enemies.

1 Samuel 3:1; even at the young tender age of the man called Samuel – he was already linking up with God.

Samuel was only a boy (not a man) when God started using him to make a difference.

Joseph was a Youth!

Jesus was a young boy – at the age of between 10 and 12 (Bible Scholars are yet to agree on a certain age). And He was among Professors, and He was Teaching them.

… Be Fervent in the Spirit!

… How can I be Connected?

No. 1- your heart must be circumcised.

No. 2 – Know who you are in Christ.

No. 3 – be constant with Him.

No. 4 – Know Him more.

No. 5 – Grow up in Him.

No. 6 – Be fervent in the Spirit. And:

7. Have a right Priority.

And right Priority will bring Reliability and Rededication of your Time!

You must make Good use of your Best Time for God.

It is not too bad to live long, like Methuselah.

My only Problem with Methuselah is that I can’t see what he did like Enoch – Very short life, but impacting.

In Ephesians 5:15-17, the Bible says that we should redeem the Time!

God will give you “Finishing Grace” – Amen!

Help me tell your neighbour: God will give you “Finishing Grace” – Amen!

Say is loud and clear: God will give you “FINISHING GRACE” – AMEN!

… Thank you very much!

Now, there are CASE STUDIES of People who WALKED WITH GOD:

David, Paul, Timothy, Esther and the lot!

But let me cap it up as I round up, with the Benefits of People whose hearts have been touched by God.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PEOPLE WHOSE HEARTS HAVE BEING TOUCHED BY GOD?

1. ADEQUATE Security.

They are ADEQUATELY SECURED from all evils and calamities.

David, a young man who was delivered from the hand of Goliath; He said in Psalms 23:4:

“Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

… Delivered from calamities! – That is No. 1

2. They secured Ways where others are fenced out.

Exodus 14:14-29; the People of God Passed through the Red Sea. Pharaoh and all his Soldiers came – They were covered in the sea.

I like Prayers like: Lord, destroy my enemies! Let trailer jam them….

But let God do His Will.

Once your heart is TOUCHED by God, you are a sensitive Project.

He says in Psalms 105:14-15; “He suffered No man to do them wrong: yea, He reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my Prophets no harm.”

… Anyone that touches His Anointed, God will have to deal with them.

God said to Abraham in Genesis 12:1-3; He called him out and He said: Anyone that Blesses you will be Blessed.

… So I am blessed, you are blessed! I’m blessing you – Amen!

Now, anyone that curses you (laughs!) You know, the Bible says the fellow is CURSED.

So, if any one is cursing you, leave them alone!

You already have a Promise that nullifies their curses!

3. They are FAVOURED by God and by men.

1Samuel 16:12-13; David was abandoned in the bush; but God favoured him – As soon as he entered, they said that is him!

I Pray today (if you will say Amen) and if you will also Pray for yourself: God will FAVOUR you above others – AMEN!!!

I mean, his brothers were more qualified than him but this boy was anointed.

Stop all the arguments: they didn’t give me what belonged to me.

Leave it! If it’s your own, God will deliver it to YOU!

David didn’t even know what was happening – He didn’t know!

When Joseph was to be moved from the Prison to the Palace – he didn’t know!

So, God is at WORK!

He says in the Book of Jeremiah 29:1: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of Peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected End.”

No. 1 – Adequately secured from evils and calamities.

No. 2 – They secure Ways where others are fenced out.

No. 3 – They are favoured by God and Men. And:

4. They usually CONQUER in the Battle of Life – 1 Samuel 17:32-50.

And I love what John the Revelator said in 1 John 4:4 – “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

And in 1 John 5:4 he says: “The Victory that overcomes the world is the Faith in you!”

I like that!

Usually conquers; because the Bible says in Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon fashioned against you shall Proper.”

And in Isaiah 8:9, it says: “Associate yourselves, O ye People, and ye shall be broken in Pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in Pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in Pieces.”

… So God is on the Throne, and He is fighting the Battle.

5. They usually FULFIL Purpose and Destiny.

In 2 Timothy 4:7 Paul said: I have fought a Good Fight, I have finished the Race.

Do you want to finish well?

… Your heart must be TOUCHED by God.

Ah! God will give us men and women whose heart GOD has TOUCHED – Amen.

God will give us Pastors, Ministers, Wives, Husbands, Children whose HEARTS are TOUCHED by God – Amen.

A lot of People are very, very Hypocritical and that is why you must be careful when they say: Yes Sir, Yes Ma – Hypocrites!

… When you are not there, they will say don’t mind him!

Please, those of you who have Titles, whether in the Government or in the Church; People are not married to your Personality – They ar married to your Pen and Title.

My father in the Lord said something, and National Overseer repeated it:

“It’s only the Sun that is Shining that People will gather to warm themselves.”

So if you have a Title, you are a sun – even if they don’t love you.

It is my Prayer: God will TOUCH our hearts – Amen!

ALTAR CALL

Are you Born Again?
Are you really, really Walking with the Lord?

Forget about the Title – Please, forget about that Title.

But in your heart – between you and God, if you are to be the Judge – Will you really follow Him?

Let us bow our heads as we Pray.

If you have not given your life to Christ, I want you to do something about it today.

I want you to Pray: God save me.

If you are Born Again, ask the Lord – Lord, TOUCH my HEART.

If you are not Born Again, Pray because I’m going to Pray for you in a short while.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

Oh Lord, all of us – We release ourselves to You; for me here and all those who are surrendering their lives to you or reading this on the Label of DMC, TOUCH our lives.

Let the Blood of Jesus wash those who are giving their lives and let them be Cleansed by the Blood of Jesus.

Let the Power of God touch the hearts of those that desire a DEEPER Walk with the Lord.

Draw us closer to You, let us make it to Heaven; when the “Roll is Call” in Heaven, let us inherit the Kingdom.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Pray – Amen!

El Shaddai, we Worship You today and we will Worship You tomorrow, we will Worship You forever.

Thank You for the Salvation of our Souls; Thank You for adding to Your Kingdom on a daily basis.

Thank You for the Power of Your Healing; Thank You for the Power of Your Word that navigates People through to their Destiny.

Thank You for the Light of the Word – JESUS.

And we Thank You for the Light that Shineth in darkness and darkness comprehended it not.

We Bless Your Name!

Thank You our Generous God, our Powerful God, we Bless Your Name. You are the Most Holy, the Most High, the Most Dependable; The Deliverer Himself, we say Thank You.

Lord, accept our Thanks in the Name of Jesus.

We are here around Your Table today, to dig Deep, we Pray that the Holy Ghost will open us up to the Mystery of the Word; Take us Deeper, take us Higher!

And that which God Himself has the Capacity to do, You will do in our lives.

I surrender my head, my mouth and my heart to You; Please Oh God, that I will disappear for You to appear. And that Your Spirit will take over!

Every mouth that open to reproach you, those mouth will be filled with gravel. And every unfriendly friends – friend-enemy; they will be disappointed – Amen!

Today, as a result of many questions: Please, still write your questions.

So, as a result of the questions they are sending, we want to look at the Topic: “LIBERTY FROM AFFLICTION AND OPPRESSION”

And so we are going to see how far we can go today and what we can get out of this Particular Study.

The Study Text would be from Exodus 3:7-19:

7 And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my People which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a Good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the Place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my People the children of Israel out of Egypt.

… May the Lord Bless the reading and hearing of His Words, in Jesus’ Name – Amen!

Where we read is a Loaded Place – That one (1) day, two (2) days; one (1) week, three (3) weeks; one (1) Month – even Months! We will try and see what we can get out of that.

Now, from those Verses; we can see Four (4) Things God said there!

We will lay that as a foundation – Four (4) things He Said:

1. I have SEEN the affliction of My People.

God sees the affliction of His People even when it is hidden to man.

God can see the Source, the People and the Power behind the affliction.

And because He can SEE; He will not be willing to forsake His Own People in their affliction – Unless, they are not are willing to be free!

… That is Number One (1).

2. I have HEARD the cry of My People.

God can hear every CRY of His People due to Pains and Sufferings.

God is aware of the reason for the Cry and the Power behind their Cry.

And because He can hear, and He will not be willing to forsake His People in their cry. Unless they are not willing to be free.

… That is Number Two (2)!

3. I KNOW the sorrow of My People.

All the sorrow we bear, due to whatever reason, situation or condition; are well known to the Almighty God.

The causes of our sorrow may be unknown to men; but are known to GOD!

… And He knows the Way out of them all.

And because He knows, He will not be willing to forsake His People in their sorrow – Unless, they are not willing to be free.

4. I will come down to DELIVER.

So God Promises a Four (4) BUNDLES DELIVERANCE TO HIS PEOPLE

Whatever the bondage, He has Solutions for all of them.

Now, what did He say? He said:

1. He will take away ALL Afflictions and Oppressions.
2. He will DESTROY ALL their Afflicters and Oppressors.
3. He will wipe away ALL their tears.
4. He will take away ALL their sorrow.

After the Liberty is achieved, God also Promised to relocate them – Four (4) Things:

• I have seen the Affliction of My people;
• I have heard their Cry;
• I know their sorrows;
• I have come to Deliver them. Then WHAT IS AFFLICTION?

Affliction is a State of Pain, distress, aggrieved, misery; a cause of Mental or Bodily Pain; sickness, loss, calamity or Persecution.

WHAT IS OPPRESSION?

The exercise of Authority or Power in a Burdensome, Cruel and unjust manner.

The feeling of being heavily burdened – whether Mentally or Physically by trouble or adverse condition or anxiety.

But let me say this, before I go into the Classes of what we need to discuss today.

The Nature of Affliction and Oppression is the fact that it causes Pain, it causes suffering, it causes embarrassment and harassment; it causes trouble, it causes torment, it causes stagnation and frustration.

I Pray today, in your life, in your destiny, in your family: wherever there is Oppression or Affliction – God will take it away, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

In this Digging Deep, we are going to look at it in THREE (3) SUB HEADINGS;

1.THE CATEGORIES OF AFFLICTION AND OPPRESSION.

2. THE CAUSES OF AFFLICTION AND OPPRESSION.
3. THE CRY FOR FREEDOM FROM AFFLICTION AND OPPRESSION.

… The Category, the Cause and the Cry!

1. THE CATEGORIES OF AFFLICTION AND OPPRESSION

I. Affliction or Oppression is a Killing Mission.

These are Oppression and Affliction sent from the camp of the enemies – To either Kill or to make a Person close to the grave of death.

In John 10:10, the Bible says: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Some have the Spirit of death chasing them all about!

In one of the Holy Ghost Services, our father in the Lord stopped in the middle of his Message. He said: there is a Lady here that has been tormented by the spirit of death.

And a woman came out from the crowd; two (2) Months down the ladder, those People were delivered – The arrows of the enemies went back to the sender.

So, those attacks are meant to terminate such a life; those attacks lead to terminal illness.

They are meant to cause death – and there are afflictions like that.

And I Pray that everyone suffering from such afflictions; God will heal them today, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

I still remembered like yesterday: I think it is about four (4) Years ago now; somebody who came to the Headquarters Church (Located at Ebute Metta) – where I Under-Pastor, because our father in the Lord (the General Overseer) is our Pastor there!

She came in the afternoon, with a report to the Altar.

Incidentally, usually when I’m in the Church, I want to stay around and Pray. But she came in, she went to the Altar with some Papers and was stepping on them.

I couldn’t hear what she was saying and she did that for a couple of minutes – after fifteen (15) to twenty (20) Minutes, and she left!

When she was going, an Usher told her: Ma, you didn’t carry your Papers.

She waved at him and left.

So I said, maybe she wants to make trouble – carry the paper, go and put it in the Archives.

Two (2) Years later, she came and gave a Testimony at the Headquarters there.

She said: I came here two (2) Years ago; I was diagnosed that I had few weeks to live.

And I told the Doctor: you are not the one to tell me how long I need to live. I have just come to check – to know what I need to Pray about!

And the Doctor asked the woman: Which Church do you attend?

She said The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

He said, no wonder! – All of you that go to that Church some nuts have been removed from your heads.

Even your General Overseer – A PhD in Mathematics, who now waits until Members bring money before he eats – He said: Go!

And she told the Doctor, if you are still here, in two (2) Years time, I will come and give you my Testimony.

Thanks to God, she didn’t die. She returned to do the Testimony after two (2) Years.

And the Doctor said: I have been Practicing for thirty eight (38) Years!

She sat down the Doctor, and Preached to him.

Well, there are afflictions that are on Killing Mission.

If you have such in your life; today, as you hear the Words of God; that sickness, that sorrow, is terminated in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

II. Affliction on Avenging Mission.

This is the kind of affliction sent to take vengeance against the evil seed sown by someone or his parents.

Something someone has done, like we have in Genesis 4:9-13.

Now, when you read verse 10; when the Lord asked Cain – where is your brother?

He said : Am I my brother’s keeper?

And God said to him in verse 10: “And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the Ground”.

That is an affliction on Avenging Mission – Nothing is hidden!

Please, anything you want to do, do it – if not for your sake, for the sake of your children.

Remember, the children of Cain – I don’t know whether you know any known generation of Cain. Because that affliction was just going down, until all of them were totally wiped out.

… So, there is affliction on Avenging Mission.

III. Affliction sent against somebody’s Peace or Wellbeing.

This is the affliction that makes someone to be troubled continually; and Solution to the Problem is very difficult.

The woman with the Issue of blood in Luke 8:43-48 – A woman had an Issue of blood for twelve (12) Years!

Now, what dazed me is the fact that: “Which had spent ALL her living.”

… ALL her living!

Only God knows how much she had.

“… Upon Physicians, neither could she be healed of any.”

She came behind and touched Jesus!

Affliction sent against someone’s Peace or Health, is the affliction.

IV. Affliction that comes due to Curses or Negative Pronouncements.

Some People are operating under Curse, some Negative Pronouncements.

As a result their life is been resisted or limited in one Particular area – In certain areas, things are going Good for them but on the other side, it is not Well.

Now, in the Book of 1 Chronicles 4:9-10; Jabez, the Bible says was more Honorable than his brethren.

But they did not tell us the reason – How someone give birth to a child and name him ‘son of sorrow.’

And one day he said, I’m tired of this – I need Deliverance. And he got his Deliverance.

… You will get your deliverance today, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

V. Affliction that comes to monitor Satanic Covenants, Satanic Oaths and Vows.

They just monitor!

In Luke 8:26-39, the Madman at the Country of the Gadarene.

I mean, they had abandoned him but the devil was supervising him.

If you have listened to my father in the Lord, he has talked so much about this – How this Madman received Deliverance.

Before the Monitoring Spirits of the devil could do anything; the man came to Jesus and bowed – Then he got his Deliverance.

Jericho is another case. In 2 Kings 2:18-19; the land was Good but the water was bad until Elisha came.

Some are under one Satanic Covenant or the other – Maybe the one somebody’s else had gone into or the one they entered on their behalf or the one they themselves are in.

And from time to time, Evil dream – From one tragedy to another; from one oppression to another.

… It is an affliction that comes to monitor Satanic Covenant.

Every Satanic Covenant in your life; the Power in the Blood will Destroy it in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

VI. There are Afflictions sent to attack Somebody’s Faith.

They are sent to attack one’s Faith, like we see in the case of Job.

I mean, Job was a Righteous Man;

And one of the Strategies of the devil is to Push you, to know whether you really believe.

And you don’t know somebody who is a Believer until they have gone through “Turbulent Times”.

And this is the Strategy of the devil, to take People away from God – So that he can have them in hell, or in his cage.

In Job 1:8-12; they asked Satan – Where are you coming from?

He said, from going to and fro.

God said: Do you know my servant Job is a Righteous Man?

He said: Righteous? – It is because you are Protecting him.

And God said: Ho ahead and do what you want to do – Just to Test his Faith.

… But in all these, Job was still standing!

Will God find you Standing in that affliction or oppression? Will you not give in so easily and seek after other gods? Will you not go elsewhere to seek Help?

I Pray today, whatever affliction; God will Destroy it in your life, in Jesus’ Name – Amen!

VII. Affliction sent to attack somebody’s Harvest or Reward for Labour.

There are so many People – they sow, they labour but attack will come when it is time for them to Harvest.

In the Book of Judges 6:2-6; the Medianites, when the Israelites sow, they will wait until the time of harvest; and they will reap what they have sown.

Everything wasting your money, wasting your resources, wasting your labour – Making your labour to be Profitless; The Almighty God will remove that today, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

In the Book of Joel 2:25; God said: He will restore!

But what I want to zero in today is:

“… The years that the LOCUST hath eaten, the CANKERWORM, and the CATERPILLAR, and the PALMER WORM…”

Those are the things that come when the devil send affliction to attack People’s Labour, People’s Reward.

And that will not be your Portion – Amen!

If it had been happening before now – IT IS CLEARED NOW, in JESUS’ Name – Amen!

2. WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF AFFLICTION AND OPPRESSION?

… The other one is the Classes, or the Categories, or the Segments.

Now, the Causes of Affliction and Oppression – There are many things that could cause this.

But I will just mention few of them:

I. Unconfessed and Unrepentend sin.

In Genesis 49:3-4; Reuben went to the bed of his father and he did not confess until the day his father said:

Oh! You are Strong, you are Powerful; but you will not Excel – Get out from me!

… He received Course, instead of Blessings.

Achan, in Joshua 7:11-20; he didn’t confess until it was too late – He stole!

Go and do Restitution – The book you collected from the Library that you have not returned it. The money you borrowed that you have not returned.

That thing you borrowed – you say the man has forgotten; it is about ten (10) years ago, twenty (20) years go – Go and do Restitution.

… Unconfessed Sin, or Unrepented Sin!

II. The Making of the Spiritual Giant.

… I’m talking about why affliction and oppression come.

It is the Process of Making a Spiritual Giant.

Isaiah 48:10 – 11. Now hear this, it says: “Behold, I have refined thee, but not with Silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my Name be Polluted? and I will not give my Glory unto another.”

Even cases like this; affliction can be taken away after the Purpose has been achieved.

Look at David, they abandoned him in the bush – That was where he developed Strength to be able to face Goliath.

Because he was the only one there!

So, he developed the Strength to be able to confront Goliath.

But his brother who had been at home eating Pepper Soup and rice; eating bread and butter; they were there at the battlefield and they had the muscles. Yet, they couldn’t confront Goliath.

David was a boy, who was in the bush – fought bear and lion.

And so when he came to Goliath he said: No, No, No! – I HAVE BEEN TRAINED.

So, affliction at times, could be a Training Instrument.

III. Opposition against Righteous Living and Upholding the Standard of God.

Affliction could come, so that you can lower the Standard of God!

Look at it, in the Book of Psalms 34:19-22: Affliction can come to the Righteous and those who have resolved to obey the Lord in His Word.

So, affliction doesn’t necessarily mean that you are sinful.

See what happened to Daniel in the Book of Daniel 1:8-9; the Bible says: He determined.

… There is a Decision – “A Resolute Decision”.

Three (3) Hebrew Boys: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, they were tested!

They told Daniel – See, nobody must Pray!

He said No, I cannot do that.

Hear this, I like this: Psalms 34:19-22 –

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the Righteous shall be desolate. The LORD redeemeth the Soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.”

I can guarantee you, if you stay through, you are a Winner!

IV. Affliction can come as a Spiritual battle between the Kingdom of God and kingdom of Darkness.

Affliction can come just to Push the Kingdom, just to shake the Kingdom.

Matthew 11:12: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth Violence, and the Violent take it by force”.

In Ephesian 6:10-11, it says: “Finally, my Brethren, be Strong in the Lord, and in the Power of His Might. Put on the Whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to Stand against the wiles of the devil”.

Because we are in the Battle field; the enemies will want to shake you.

We don’t fight with flesh and blood, we are consistently in Battle with the Power of Darkness and the attack comes in various ways.

… No wonder the Bible says, we should be Strong in the Lord!

V. Unbroken Curses and Covenants.

Genesis 49:3-4; what Reuben did, he should have confessed; he should have gone to his father and his father would have dealt with it.

But affliction can come upon a man as result of Curses Pronounced against him in his Generation.

And when a man walks on a “Cursed Path” knowingly or unknowingly; there is no way he can make it in life.

When Satanic Curses are not broken, there is no Way you can fulfill Purpose.

And the Blood of Jesus Christ is there, the Power of the Lord is there!

Thank God for People like my father in the Lord – All he needs to do is to wave his hands, and the Power of God will meet you wherever you are.

I Pray today: Every Evil Covenant in your life, the Almighty God will destroy it, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

Now, this is the last Outline; you know I said Categories of Affliction, Causes, now;

3. WHAT ARE THE CURE? – THE CRY FOR FREEDOM FROM AFFLICTION AND OPPRESSION

… CURE for affliction and oppression;

Now, I will read from Joel 2:32.

Look at what it says: “And it shall come to Pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be Deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call”.

Certain Criteria must be MET (if language allows that) for you to receive Deliverance and Freedom and Liberty from affliction.

I. You need to Repent from SIN and be saved.

Repent from sin and be saved – You must Confess all known and unknown sins and truly repent.

That is why 1 John 1:7-9; John 3:3-5; is talking about Confession.

You need to confess, and deal with the sin of rebellion – Romans 3:23-24.

Personal Sin – 1 John 1:9.

If we confess our sins He is Faithful and Righteous.

Ancestral Sins – Psalms 51:5 – “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”

… That’s No. I.

II. You need to Renounce ALL Satanic Covenants – Both known and unknown.

… So that you can be released to enjoy your Freedom.

In Acts 19:19; the People surrendered all their evil charms.

And that is why James 4:7 says: You need to let go; surrender everything.

Colossian 1:13; talks about the Freedom is available, if you are willing to let go.

So, these you can do, when you get Born Again and surrender to Jesus.

III. Call on the Name of the Lord, for Liberty from Affliction and Oppression.

James 5:13, I read that one (1).

Now look at it: “Is any among you afflicted? let him Pray. Is any merry? let him Sing Psalms”.

Luke 18:1 says: “And he spake a Parable unto them to this end, that Men ought always to Pray, and not to Faint;”

In Philippians 2:9-11; the Bible says: The Name of the Lord is Higher above every other names.

A “Closed Mouth” is a “Closed Destiny” – Your mouth is an instrument for the Holy Ghost’s cry – you need to CRY OUT.

In 1 Chronicles 4:9-10; Jabez called on God.

Life is not fair to any one, so stop calling a “Pity Party”.

Life does not give anyone what you deserve; you have to struggle and demand for it.

In 1 Samuel 1:10-12 – Hannah demanded for her portion.

IV. And you need to use your Spiritual Weapon – You have it!

James 1:6-8; You need to USE your Spiritual Weapon.

V. Now, you need to BARRICADE your life with the Blood of JESUS and with the FIRE of God.

Revelation 12:11; it says they CONQUERED him!

… I like that one.

Revelation 12:11: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the words of their Testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

And Jeremiah 23:29, it says: “Is not my Word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in Pieces?”

Release yourself to the Holy Ghost Fire – Holy Ghost Anointing.

And James 5:13-15; also says that!

Now let me start concluding by reading Nahum 1:9 – “What do ye imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time”.

My Prayer on this Platform is that God will give you Strength to be able to confront all your afflictions and you will conquer in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

If you are a Believer, now God has Promised you and Promised me in Psalms 34:19.

And it says: “Many are the afflictions of the Righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all”.

If you are not a Believer, God is ready and He is Willing to take over.

If you will surrender to Him, the Bible says in the Book of Matthew 11:28-30: “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”.

In 1 Peter 5:7; it says: “Casting all your cares upon Him; for He careth for you”.

ALTAR CALL

So if you are not Born Again, Please, let Him have it – the Trouble of life.

You can’t carry that excess luggage and still enjoy life.

Push it to Him – You didn’t create yourself, you didn’t determine your Parents; and there is a Purpose. Let Him have it – He’s the Owner of your life.

If you are Born Again, whatever affliction, just deal with it.

… Let’s Bow as we Pray!

If you are Confessing to Jesus, Please just stretch your hands to God, I want to Pray with you.

And if you are going through any issue in your life and you are a Believer; wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC, Put your own hand on your head(s) – I’m going to Pray with you.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING

Father in Heaven, I Thank You for the People who are giving their lives to Jesus! And I Pray that You will forgive their sins as they confess.

And Lord, You will write their names in the “Book of Life.” The Power to Serve You, You will give unto them. Power never to go back again, let it be their Portion!

And All the Believers who have issues with Afflictions and Oppressions; I hereby under the Anointing and Commissioning of my father in the Lord and I DECLARE – BE FREE, in the Name of JESUS!

The Bible says: if the Son of God shall make you Free, you will be FREE INDEED.

RECEIVE YOUR LIBERTY in all areas, and function to the Glory of the Name of the Lord.

And all of us, when we eventually finish – we will finish well on Earth (by the Grace of God) and we will finish and make it to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Thank You because it is done! We give You Glory, we give You Honour.

Father in Heavenly Places, Thank You oh God for the Privilege to Give unto You; Lord, we didn’t bring anything into the world. You love a Cheerful Giver.

But anyone who is a “Grumbling Giver” You will still take it – because out of Your excesses we are clothed. We didn’t bring nothing into the world – we are not taking anything out!

So we are saying to You: We Love You. Bless the offerings in our hands, and return it to us in Multiple folds.

And in the Kingdom where the Streets are Paved with Gold; where Angels will be our servants, where we will sit at the Table with God: NONE of us will be Missing.

Thank You because it is done already, in JESUS’ Mighty Name we PRAY – Amen!

OPENING PRAYER

King of Glory, You are the only One that is Worthy to be Praised.

Thank You, You are responsible for all the Good Things that we receive. Lord we say THANK YOU!

Thank You for our family, Thank You for our Health, Thank You for Protection and Provision.

Great God, we bow our head and our heart before the Great I AM. Please, accept our Thanks in the Name of JESUS!

You are our King, and You are our Lord. Thank You that You are the One who is a Shadow over us! So we are believing and trusting in You, just as You Promised and You are not a liar: that no evil will touch us.

And I Pray for everyone connected now (and reading on the label of DMC) no evil will touch them.

As we are sitting around Your Table today, Jehovah God arise in Your Word. We Pray to You Father God; Break the Word of Life to us in the Name of Jesus!
Let there be Healing, let there be Salvation, let there be Joy, let there be Anointing;

In any area You need to rebuke us, Please, You are always a Loving God. Do it in the Name of Jesus.

Father we declare and decree; that everyone who has sent their Prayer Requests, Jehovah God to our father in this Organization and to all Pastors in any level – Answer them by Fire, in the Name of Jesus!

Father Almighty, we ask oh God, that at the end of the Digging Deep tonight, we will have reason to Testify – to Glorify Your Holy Name.

And at the end of our life, at the end of our race; Lord together with You, let us reign in Glory, in the Name of Jesus!

As You have prepare a place for us in Heavenly Kingdom – where the streets are made of Pure Gold, don’t let any of us miss the Place!

We Thank You Father; we give You Glory and Honour.

We want to appreciate the Name of the Lord, for my father – who has given us the opportunity.

I Pray for him, his wife and his family; that God of Heaven will put more Grace over his life and family, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

And everyone Praying for our Leader – our father in the Lord and his family; may the Lord raise Helpers of Destiny for you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

Today, we will be considering: REPROGRAMMING YOUR THOUGHT

I’m going to take three (3) readings – two (2) in the Old Testament and one (1) in the New Testament: Proverbs 4:23; Proverbs 23:7; and Philippians 4:8.

… I will read them together, and we will now go into what we need to do today.

Proverbs 4:23: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Proverbs 23:7: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee”.

Philippians 4:8: “Finally, Brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are Pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of Good Report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any Praise, think on these things.”

May the Lord Bless the Reading and Hearing of His Words, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!

In Life and in Destiny; in fulfilment of God’s Purpose – our THOUGHTS is very crucial.

The first Place we read says: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”.

The second one says: “As “he” Thinketh in his heart – Not ‘as GOD’ thinks for him. NO! But as “he” thinketh in his heart!

It is one thing for God to think Good for you; it is another thing to align your thoughts with Him.

And in the Book of Philippians 4:8; He was mentioning things Pure, things Holy – that we should think on these things!

Now, in Life and in Destiny: your thoughts will make you and unmake you. Your thoughts will heal or hurt you. Your thoughts will generate friends or will enemies. Your thoughts will make you happy or make you miserable. Your thoughts will make you a Victor/Victorious or make you a victim!
Your thoughts will make you an Overcomer or a Captive. And your thoughts can also make you a Success or a failure!

Information is the mother of transformation; and transformation of your Thoughts is the transformation of your Life.

Everything that you will ever become; everything that will ever happen to you in life – it has to come FIRST, from your heart.

The Bible says: “As he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

… Either Greatness or wretchedness – they are all Products of your thoughts.

So, Conscious Thinking is almost lost among Christians, among Believers: People who Consciously choose what they need to think today!

On this Platform we have said that you need to Pray Right; and you need to think Right!

In the Book of Ephesians 3:20 (that Popular Passage) – “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we Pray or think.

If you Pray so much and you think evil so much there is a way your thinking nullifies the Prayers.

There is a valid, a balance: if you Pray SO MUCH, and you THINK EVIL so much; there is a way your Thinking nullify all the Prayers!

I remember a story in the Book of the Bible, when Moses sent spies to go and examine the land that God had Promised them.

… How can God Almighty Promise People and fail to deliver?

They have not been to that side before; they went there on the account of God. And when they got there, they discovered exactly what God said there!

So they came back with the News: And ten (10) of them said – the Giants there are too HUGE – the Promise is TOO BIG! We could not go.

But Caleb and Joshua – they stood; they had other Perspectives.

And now you find that in the Book of Numbers 13:26-33. But in Numbers 13:30, Caleb and Joshua said: No, No, No! We are able!

No wonder, it was Caleb and Joshua in that Generation (apart from the younger ones) that were able to get there!

… They got there by the Reprogramming of their THOUGHTS.

I read a story many years ago, about when Bata (Shoe Company) wanted to invest in Africa. They sent their People from Great Britain to come to Africa.

The first set of People that came – they came to Africa and said: The People there don’t wear shoes; so there is no Prospect!

So when the Management changed over the time, they sent another Group. The second Group said: They don’t wear shoes in Africa but we will have a Great Market.

That is why in every village and town in Africa, they still have Bata.

In fact, in my own language – everything you put on as shoe, they call them Bata.

So, because People can think out of the box – Productive Thinking delivers Victory where others see defeat.

Every word comes from the abundance of the heart.

Jesus said this in one of His Teachings in Matthew 12:34: Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh – Whether consciously or unconsciously.

Now, your values, your beliefs; everything come from your thoughts!

And your thoughts will either make you or break you.

So once your MIND is Reprogrammed, you are sure will make it!

… Because Right Thinking is Right Living.

Some People see themselves as Victims in the world – Praise God! Some people see themselves as Victorious – Praise God!

There are Good Organizations that People work in – like ours! Some People believe: this Organization suit you! It is not the Organization.

Many a times we give the devil credit for what he didn’t do! Oh, it was the devil. What about your thoughts? Because He made us like Him!

… So your Thought has a Validity for the life you live.

Someone said (I read it years ago), he said:
“Watch your thoughts, they become your Worths; Watch your worths, they become your Actions; Watch your actions, they become your Habits; Watch you habits, they become Character; Watch your Character, for it becomes your Destiny.”

No matter how impossible a situation may seem; if you can handle it in your HEART, it’s done!

A case at hand, was the case in Genesis 11:3-6 – Some People thought (the People that God made) – ‘How can we be left here alone?’ Go to, let’s burn bricks;

… No wonder, way way back at the beginning of the Bible, they had cement!

And so they determined to build a Tower.

Even God said; these People are jokers!

In Verse 5, God said, let us go and see. But when God saw is, in Verse 6 God said Ah! These People will do it!

Look at what God said in Verse 6: “And the LORD said, Behold, the People is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have IMAGINED TO DO.”

What your MIND cannot Accommodate today, you can’t see it tomorrow.

Where you are today is largely due to God. But Primarily, due to your Thoughts because you are actually like God.

And many a times when you Program evil thoughts in your heart, because God is not a Manipulator – He cannot manipulate your heart.

Angels don’t advise People; they carry out whatsoever is in their heart!

So, if you want to succeed in anything in life, then you must FIRST, succeed in your Thoughts.

That is why they call those Nations which they categorized to be developed (First World) – IMAGE NATION!

So, what you are looking for is not in Abroad, it is in Above! What you are looking for somewhere else is within you.

I’m not talking about a kind of Naturalistic Philosophy; of Psychology of Thoughts and Thinking – No!

I’m talking about what the Bible says about: “As he thinketh in his heart, so he is.”

Well, there are all kinds of Thinking:

1. Reflective Thinking,
2. Constructive Thinking,
3. Realistic Thinking,
4. Critical Thinking,
5. Radical Thinking and all that.

They are all there!

… That’s not where I am going today!

I mean, each of these Thinking has a backing of the Scripture.

So, what Isaac, Jacob did regularly is Reflective Thinking;

What David did when he was facing Goliath is Victorious Thinking;

What Calab and Joshua did when others brought Negative News is a Radical Thinking!

There are all kinds of Thinking, but that is not were I’m going today.

We just want to see few things regarding Thoughts, because:

Whatsoever you Programmed into your Thought, that is what will come out of it.

There is a Wall Paper I came to know many years ago; GIGO – Garbage In, Garbage Out!

That is the Principle of Computer.

… But what is true about Computer is also true of our Normal Life!

I want to say this to you Sir/Ma, wherever you are reading this Message now on the Label of DMC that:

You are born a Winner, don’t’T die a loser; You are born to be Great, don’t end up as an unknown person; You are born to be the Head, not the tail; You are to be a Billionaire, DON’T DIE as a Pauper.

… You are born to be a World Changer, Please, don’t die frustrated!

You are born as a Runner, don’t’T die as a crooker. You are born as a Champion, don’t’T become a chicken!

You are born as a Prophet, don’t become a Parrot. You are born an Eagle, don’t become a worm!

… Many are born to Goldmines, they end up as Prisoners!

I Pray today; that the God of Heaven that we serve will help each and everyone of us (including me) to REPROGRAM our Thoughts for a Productive life, in the Name of JESUS – Amen!

Now, *WHAT ARE THE WORTH OF YOUR THOUGHT LIFE?

The Worths of your Thought Life – let me roll out Seven (7) Things from that before we go to others:

1. It takes Good Thinking to Produce a Good Life –
   Proverbs 23:7 says: For as he THINKETH in his heart…

… You are what you always think about!

The real man is not the one that is dressed here; the real man is inside there!

So it is your heart work connected to the brainwork is the Real Work!

You have the capacity to determine what happens to you; so, as he THINKETH …

It takes a Good Thinking to Produce a Good Life!

2. The state of your Thought determines the state of your life;

… You cannot think one thing and receive another!

So, whatever can affect a man’s Thinking Process can affect his life.

I read the story of a man (I don’t want to embarrass him and I don’t want to mention name) of a man that was born without limps.

… I mean, somebody from our own part of the world would have been crying – why is my own like this?

But the man became a Pastor of over a thousand Congregation; happily married and has a wonderful family.

… Because whatsoever you think, is what you will get.

We refer back to Numbers 13:25-33; some People became victims – By their Thoughts and Perspectives.

No wonder, when we got to Numbers 14 21-24; they became what they thought about.

3. Your Thinking Pattern designs your Future Pattern.

Proverbs 4:23 says: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Your Mental Picture determines your Actual Picture!

It is one thing to see the Vision, it is another thing to declare it, and see, and work towards it.

I want you to know that: Thinking usually precedes Seeing – Before you SEE!

Men may be looking at you, but they can’t see the Person. Because People may be looking at you, without seeing you. Some people are looking at your direction, but their Thoughts are somewhere else.

That is why – you know it!

It has happened to you, it has happened to me. You say: you are looking at me, I thought you saw me? – I didn’t see you!

So, what we are saying is that – Your Thinking Pattern determines your Seeing pattern – Very, very important!

God’s Order of things: You see FIRST, before Possession.

You think, when you THINK, you see. And then Possession follows.

When God intends to help a man, what He will first of establish is HELP him to SEE!

In Genesis 13:15; the Bible says: “For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.”

God was referring to a kind of SEEING in the life of Abraham; and in Ephesians 1:17-18, it says: “That the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened”.

So, what you discovered in the Word of God can only be yours in reality – to the extent of the reality you have created in your mind.

There is a Professor in this country, the man cannot see – I mean, he was born without eyes!

But he became a Professor; A Head of Department of Physical Education in one of the Federal Universities in the Northern Part of the country.

And the man is very brilliant! I don’t want to mention names.

So, looking at the issues around you – Your disability and begin to make complains; this is the reason. It’s not the issue!

4. Your Mind must change gear if your situation must move forward;

Anything you want to become – it is possible if your heart is TRANSFORMED.

Your heart must be TRANSFORMED; you are responsible for the renewing of your mind.

I like a Lady in the Bible – Mark 5:25-34.

The woman said if I can but TOUCH; it started from her heart! She TOUCHED, and she received her Healing.

… Her Healing was delivered the day she Thought ‘I can do it!’

If your heart passes the examination, you are already there!

A man was Practicing; when he jumped a 5 feet height; but he got to 6 feet height – he would approach it, and stop (repeatedly). So he now asked the Coach: “Why can’t I jump over the 6 feet height?”

The Coach said: Let your HEART jump over it, your body will follow!

… Once you can capture it, it is DONE!

5. Your mind is the Gateway to the Miraculous.

Your Mind determines how well you live!

It’s for another day: God is the God of the Supernatural; it didn’t say He is the God of the Super ‘Spiritual.’

There is a way the thing connects – Whatever God needs to do starts in the Spirit.

Things happen twice.

What you are now happened once, before you became it!

The People (in Genesis 11) said: we will build it!

And they were building it.

The Prodigal son said: I’m I not a foolish Boy?- He said Yes!

I’m I not a crazy Boy? – He said, I Think so.

I will arise and go to my father!

He went to his father. And just as he imagined – the father received him!

In that Ephesians 3:20 (I quoted a while ago): “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”

God responds to your Thoughts the same way He responds to your PRAYER

Your Thoughts and confessions must be in AGREEMENT – before you can see the Manifestation of your Desires.

6. Your Thought is strategic in Spiritual Warfare.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6, the Bible says: We are in the flesh but we don’t war in the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, they are Mighty through God to the Pulling down of strongholds.

And he was talking about HEART. The major target of the enemy (called a Stronghold) as we see there, is your mind, your imagination; Knowledge; your Thinking Pattern.

Imagine Job in Job 3:25-26. He said: For the thing that I FEARED has come upon me; and what I dreaded has happened to me.

No wonder, 1 Peter 1:13, the Bible says – Guide up the loins of your MIND.

Accommodation of Negative Thoughts will end you in the Negative End.

Stop thinking about Premature death or I will loose my job.

You must stop Thinking all those kind of stuffs – they are not for you.

And I Pray: Everyone that has evil thoughts or that is loaded with evil thoughts; I Pray from today: The Lord will change everything Negative about you, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

7. Your Thought Life determines your Holiness and Purity.

The devil can only corrupt you through the aid of your Thoughts.

2 Corinthians 11:3 says: “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

Evil Thought Precedes evil acts. If you can stop the thought, then you can stop the act – You can stop it!

It takes a Pure Thought to live a Pure Life.

… You need to clean up your thoughts for a clean life!

An average man – those who Research says there are about ten thousand (10,000) Thoughts in a day. And seventy percent (70%) of course some people say eighty percent (80%) are Negative Thoughts.

And Betty Shaheli says (I read): “Two thoughts cannot occupy your heart at the same time. The choice is ours whether to be Constructive or Destructive.”

So, your life is defined by what is in your heart.

Now, when you think of becoming selfish – you will not be able to lend out to other People!

When you think of immoral sex, then you will become lustful!

So, Praying and Heart Power is the real Power!

They told us about a man; I also read about the same man so many years ago – the man called Albert Einstein.

The one who told us the “Law of Relativity”.

We were told that the man was one of the greatest men that utilised his brain (his thoughts).

But when he died, some People requested for his brain – and they tested his brain. And they discovered he only used five percent (5%) of his brain.

Each of us (Human Being) has about fourteen billion (14,000,000,000) brain cells. And that brain cells have capacity to retain information.

No wonder, the Bible says in Psalms 139:14-17; that: We are wonderfully and fearfully made.

So what are we saying?

Your thinking determines your belief; what you believe determines what you become!

A Christian has an advantage when it comes to the issue of the mind.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:16: “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.;

The state of your thought determines the state of your life.

… As he thinketh in his heart, so is he!

Now remember, God Himself said in the Book of Deuteronomy 30:19. He said: I set before you life and death, blessings and curses.

Isaiah 26:3, this is what the Bible says: “Thou wilt keep him in Perfect Peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.

HOW DO I REPROGRAM MY THOUGHTS?

… Let me quickly roll out Seven (7) Things;

1. Give Good Time to Thinking.

It is good to Pray; there are People Praying (screaming).

When you Pray, do you listen to God?

You must have a Thinking Time!

If want to Pray foe one (1) hour – I suggest to you; Pray for forty five (45) minutes, use fifteen (15) minutes to think!

Take time to reason!

High flyers in life, they have ample opportunity to Think!

Daniel 2:16; full of Prophecies, he knows the Scriptures – but he has time to reflect.

2. Seek to be ALONE.

We are living in a noisy world; you need Privacy to allow uninterrupted flow of IDEAS.

Daniel went to his house, in Daniel 2:17 – There was Problem in the land. He went to his house – he has to think quickly!

3. Select your “Thinking Companion” carefully.

Daniel 2:17, you need a co-thinker.

Relationship Plays a vital role in sharpening your mind. – Proverbs 13:20; 1 Corinthians 15:33.

4. Spend time with God in Prayers.

Daniel 2:19; spend time (especially in the nights).

Your Night Season is the time to take counsel from God. – Psalms 77:6 l; Psalms 16:7.

5. Receive “Laying On” of hand for Impartation.

2 Timothy 1:6 – Laying of hand!

The Spirit of Wisdom came upon Joshua because hand was laid upon him, in the Book of Deuteronomy 34:9.

… So, let hands be LAID upon you!

6. Through diligent Studies.

2 Timothy 2:15; Learning sharpens your mind – Read Books; Listen to tapes; Sit down to study!

Even Daniel with his Books of Prophecies, he had to understand by reading – Daniel 9:2.

7. You need to Think aloud; Think Talk;
   Think aloud! Habakkuk 3:2; Think Talk – yourself!
8. Of course, you need to Trust God that He will help you to be able to Think.

If you think you can’t, you probably won’t. But If you think you can do it, then you can do it.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RENEWING YOUR MIND?

… Let me quickly round up!

1. You will see and understand things on a higher level – Matthew 13:19.
2. You will gain an understanding of your Rights as a child of God.
3. Refuse to accept defeat.

And when you refuse this – Poverty will run away from you! And when you refuse this, sickness will run away from you.

When you THINK, you will see your Benefits and you will be able to get it!

Do you want your Mind changed? You can do it!

God is a God of Possibility; incidentally, God cannot do it for you – you are the one who can do your THINKING; because your life is not God’s life – He borrowed your heart to dwell in.

So, whichever way your Thought goes, there is a Grace to deliver it: REPROGRAM your Thoughts today!

The woman with the issue of blood said: I’m TIRED; Jabez said I’m TIRED, the Prodigal Son said, I’m TIRED – and they were able to do it.

David said I’m able and he did it.

You can do it! You were not created to be at the backside of a dessert.

Your Father is the Most HIGH, don’t be the Most LOW. You are an EAGLE, don’t be a chicken!

… It’s time to Pray;

Please, if you are out there and you are not Born Again, Pray: Please Lord, come into my heart! And that is when you can Think Right.

And if you are Born Again, Pray: Lord, every evil thoughts I command you – CLEAR, by the Blood of Jesus!

… Pray! And I will Pray with you now.

And those of you who want to give your lives to Jesus, say these after me:

My Father, I have come to You today. I want You to come into my life. Forgive my sins. Lord, make Your abode in my life.

Thank You because I know that You are in. Let all my sins be forgiven. Let me be a child of God forever!

Those of you who are just REDEDICATION your lives; Tell the Lord – Renew my heart. I surrender to You.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER.

Lord, I Pray for the People who have Prayed and I ask that the Power of the Lord that declares life Worth Living be upon you.

May the Glory of God come over your life; May the Power to REPROGRAM YOUR THOUGHTS come over you.

And you will work in life, you will make it in life and you will make it to Heaven.

Whatever you are struggling with before now – Receive Power to overcome.

Thank You because it is done! Glory and Honour be to Your Name.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Pray – Amen!
