OPENING PRAYER

The Ancient of Days; You are the King of all kings, You are the Lord of all lords, You are the Alpha, You are the Omega.

Who is like unto thee among the gods?

Father, we Thank You for what you did during the Convention: Lord we appreciate You for Your Intervention; we Thank You for Miracles; we Thank You Signs; we Thank You for Wonders. We Thank You because You Spoke to our situations.

Please take ALL the Glory in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

My Lord, we have come again this morning and I like to register my weakness before Your children that there is nothing any “Man of God” can do without the “God of Man”. You are the “God of Man”; this morning use me and bless Your children Oh Lord – Amen.

For saying Amen; God will Open a “New Chapter” for you in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Thank You Father Lord; in Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen!

To God alone be all the Glory.

I want to thank the Almighty God and our father in the Lord – The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God; for giving me the opportunity to stand before my Seniors this morning.

And I want to greet all my fathers and mothers; who are here this morning. Wherever you are; it shall be Well with you all – Amen.

You will not be hungry in the Kitchen in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

You will never have a better yesterday in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

If your Amen will be louder; your tomorrow will be “Better” and not “Bitter” in Jesus Name – Amen.

The Topic before us this Morning is: “THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD” (2ce).

This is a “Personal Confession” or a “Personal Declaration”.

It also means “Ownership” or “Relationship”.

The Psalmist didn’t say that: “The Lord is ‘OUR’ Shepherd”. He said: “The Lord is ‘MY’ Shepherd”.

Psalms 118:17(a) says: I shall not die but live.

It didn’t say that ” WE” shall not die but live – “I” shall not die but live.

Psalms 23: 6(a) says: Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow “ME” all the days of my life.

… It didn’t say shall follow “US” but shall follow “ME”.

My brother and sister; it is my Pleasure to announce to you this morning that: “The Lord is My Shepherd”.

Who is Your Own Shepherd?

… The Lord is My Own Shepherd.

Psalms 23:1 tells me that: “The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not Want”.

Another Translation says: “The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall Not Lack”.

New International Bible Translation says: “The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall Not be in Want”.

This Book of Psalms Chapter 23 is very loaded with both Earthly and Eternal Blessings.

David, himself was a Shepherd; yet he called the Lord “His Shepherd”.

It means that The Lord is not only “The Shepherd of the Sheep”; He is equally “The Shepherd of Shepherds”.

A sheep without a Shepherd is exposed to dangers.

No wonder in Mark 6:34; Jesus Christ was moved with “COMPASSION” when He saw the Multitude of People who are like sheep without Shepherd.

No Shepherd wants to die for his sheep. But Jesus Christ, ‘My Shepherd’; Jesus Christ, ‘The Good Shepherd’; Jesus Christ, ‘A Faithful Shepherd’; Jesus Christ, ‘A Merciful Shepherd’; Jesus Christ, ‘A Compassionate Shepherd’; Jesus Christ, ‘The Shepherd of Shepherds’ – laid down (gave) His Life for His Sheep.

… Can we please put our hands together for Him – Thank you sir, Thank you ma.

In John 10: 11 Jesus says: “I am the Good Shepherd”. The Good Shepherd gives His Life for the Sheep.

In John 10: 15(b); Jesus says: “I lay down my Life for the Sheep”.

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A SHEPHERD?

1. A Shepherd PROVIDES for His Sheep.

David knew that a Shepherd would and could Provide for his Dheep. That was why he declared in Psalms 23:1: “The Lord is My Shepherd, therefore I will not suffer lack”.

Brethren, if you make Jesus Christ your Shepherd; He will surely Provide for you.

Can I hear Amen please – Amen.

Jesus Christ is all you need in order to meet all your Needs!

1. A Shepherd Protects and Defends his Sheep.

… He who God keeps is Kept.

Psalms 121: 7-8; tells me that: The Lord will Preserve you from all evil.

… Let God hear your Amen please – Amen.

He shall Preserve thy Soul.

… Let your Amen have Flesh and Blood please – Amen.

The He said that: The Lord shall Preserve thy Going Out and Coming In from this time forth and even forever more – Amen.

This will be your Portion in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

… Provided that you made the Lord Your Shepherd.

1. A Shepherd Feeds his Sheep.

Psalms 34:10 says: The Young Lions do lack and do suffer hunger; but they that seek The Lord shall not want any Good Thing.

Brethren, no matter the Economy of the Jungle; Lions will never eat grass. God will always provide meat for them.

Job 5:22 says: At destruction and famine; thou shall laugh.

Now let me come back home; No matter the Economy of Nigeria if you make Jesus Christ your Shepherd, He will feed you – Amen.

1. A Shepherd Directs his Sheep – He determines the direction of travelling.

So, I want to beg you: As a sheep, don’t lead the way. Let Jesus leads while you follow.

That is the reason that Proverbs 3:6 tells me: In all thy Ways acknowledge Him and He shall directs thy Path.

1. A Shepherd Keeps Watch over his Sheep.

When the Sheep is sleeping; the Shepherd is awake. Psalms 121 is my Witness – Psalms 121:4 says: Behold He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

Psalms 127:1 (b) says: Except the Lord keeps the City, the Watchman waketh up but in vain.

Psalms 121:5 says: The Lord is thy Keeper.

… If you make The Lord your Shepherd, He will keep watch over you.

1. A Shepherd Disciplines the Sheep with his Rod.

That is a Necessity, an Absolute Necessity – Discipline.

So, a Good Shepherd disciplines the Sheep with his rod.

And you know that my Own Shepherd is Loving and Lovable.

Hebrew 12:6 says: For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.

My Own Shepherd is Loving.

Revelations 3:19 says: As many as I love, I rebuketh and chasteneth. He said be zealous therefore and repent.

Proverbs 13:18 says: Poverty and Shame shall be to him that refuseth instructions. But he that regardeth reproof shall be Honoured.

A Shepherd disciplines the Sheep.

Proverbs 29:15 says: The rod and reproof gives Wisdom but a child leaveth to himself brought his mother to shame.

It means that: If you spare the rod, you will spoil your child.

Proverbs 13:24 says: He that spares his rod hateth but he that loveth his son chasteneth him.

Let me conclude with; Proverbs 22:15. It says: Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

1. A Shepherd Fights for his Sheep.

If you make the Lord your Shepherd, He will fight for you.

In Exodus 14:14; Moses said that the Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your Peace.

Brethren, do you know that up till now, some people are still fighting for their gods?

The Good News is that our Own God fights for us.

Do you know that up till this day; some people still carry their own gods?

But our Own God carries us.

So, if you make the Lord Your Shepherd, He will fight for you, He will carry you and He will carry your responsibilities in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

Exodus 15:3 says: The Lord is a Man of War; the Lord is His Name.

So my fathers and my mothers, my brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen; if you make Jesus Christ your Shepherd, then you can be sure of the following Possibilities:

1. He will Provide for you.
2. He will Protect you.
3. He will Direct you.
4. He will Keep Watch over you 24/7.
5. He will Feed you.
6. He will Fight for you and grant your Victory without your input.

… Can I hear Amen Please – Amen!

The Lord is My Shepherd!

At the beginning; I told you that it involves “Ownership” and “Relationship” between a Sheep and a Shepherd.

Let me tell you one thing about “Relationship”: Relationship can determine Destinies and Destinations.

Relationship can also determine Possession.

… Who you know can determine what you get.

Psalms Chapter 23 begins with a “Relationship” and ends with “Eternity”.

And that is why I consider Psalms 23 as the Best Chapter among the Books of Psalms – it begins with Relationship on Earth and ends in Eternity.

David said: The Lord is My Shepherd – That is a Relationship (A Relationship between a Sheep and a Shepherd). And that is a Godly Relationship and it is the Best Relationship.

The Lord is My Shepherd, that is Relationship; followed by with a Supply – I shall not Lack.

Followed by Rest – He maketh me to lie down in Green Pastures.

Followed by Refreshment – He leadeth me beside the Still Water.

Followed by Restoration – He restoreth my Soul.

Followed by Guidance – He leadeth me in the Path of Righteousness.

Followed by Purpose – For His Name Sake.

Followed by Protection – Yea though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death.

Followed by Boldness and Faith – I will Fear no Evil.

Followed by Divine Presence – For thou Art with Me.

Followed by Discipline – Thy Rod and thy Staff they Comfort Me.

Followed by Provision – Thou Prepareth a Table before me in the Presence of Mine Enemies.

Followed by Anointing and Empowerment – Thou anointed my Head with Oil

Followed by Overflow – My Cup runneth Over (3ce).

Followed by Security – Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my Life.

Followed by Eternity – And I will dwell in the House of the Lord Forever.

… Thank You for clapping for Jesus!

So, if you made the Lord your Shepherd; there is already a Relationship. And because of that Relationship, every other things that you need you will get – Earthly Possession; and then you will make it to Heaven because you have made the Lord your Shepherd.

Brethren, may I appeal to you; Let us come back Home. We have gone too far away from our Maker.

And don’t forget what He says. He says: For without Me, you can’t do nothing.

We have been up and running after “Earthly Possessions” and none of these Possessions will follow us to Eternity.

Let us come back to God. He said: Seek ye First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.

All these things that we are running after will run after us if we are where God wants us to be.

That is the Secret: If you are where God wants us to be; what others are running after will run after us.

And all these things that you are running after; brethren most of them are distractions – We cannot take any of them Home.

It doesn’t matter the number of Houses you have; it doesn’t matter the number of Vehicles that you have; it doesn’t matter the number of Titles that you have – None of these things can Guarantee your Eternity in Heaven.

Let us come back Home.

Let us for once think about Heavenly Home.

1. The first Prayer Point Brethren is a Prayer of Thanksgiving.

“Let Gratitude be Your Attitude”

Brethren, since the beginning of Last Week; I mean God has been doing Fantastic Things in our midst.

Thank You for clapping for Jesus Christ – He deserves it – Amen.

Please, don’t forget in a hurry that He is a Faithful God, a Powerful God, a Mighty God, an Excellent God, a Compassionate God. He has done Wonderful Things – Amen. Thank You!

So, I want you to think about yourself this morning and that is why I didn’t Say: The Lord is Our Shepherd. I said: The Lord is My Shepherd because I known of myself but I don’t know about you.

You are going to say: Father, I Thank You for everything that you have done for me and for what you have done through me. Please, take all the Glory in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Brethren, give Him all the Glory; He deserves it and He desires it.

For everything that you have done for me; particularly during the Convention please take the all the Glory in the Name of Jesus.

Give Him the Glory; in Jesus Mighty Name we have given thanks – Amen.

1. Brethren, you are going to Say: Father, you are my Shepherd please Provide for me, Feed me, Direct me, Discipline me, don’t let me be hungry in the Kitchen in the Name of Jesus. Fight for me in the Name of Jesus and grant me Unmerited Victory; Undeserved Victory – Victory without my Input.

Lord grant me Victory in the Name of Jesus. You are My Shepherd (3ce).

Thank You Father, in Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

1. Brethren, there is what we call: “Divine Lamination” – When you are laminated the way we laminated our ID Card then no evil hands can touch you; no evil eyes can see you.

You will Say: Father, please laminate me with the Blood of Jesus Christ – Go ahead and talk to the Lord.

Laminate me with the Fire of The Holy Spirit. No evil hands will touch you in the Name of Jesus.

It doesn’t matter the number of people that gathered round you; they will fall for your sake.

Lord Laminate me, I want “Divine Lamination”.

Yes Lord, Thank You Father Lord. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

1. Brethren, there was a Storm and Jesus Christ was in the boat.

And that tells you something: The Presence of Jesus Christ doesn’t terminate Storm – No!

Jesus Christ was in the boat, yet there was a Storm.

But the Assurance is that, that Storm will not Overcome you.

So, when they went to Jesus Christ, what did He do? – He Spoke to the Storm; the Storm heard his Voice and it Stopped Instantly.

Lazarus was sick; he was dead and he was buried before Jesus Christ arrived.

What did Jesus Christ do? – He Spoke, the Grave heard His Voice and it released Lazarus instantly.

You are going to Say: Father, please Speak.

Whatever is still holding me down, let it hear Your Voice and release me fast in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Anything and Everything that is still holding me down; Lord Speak. Let it hear Your Voice and let it release me fast.

If it is Poverty that is holding you down; it must hear the Voice of the Lord. If it is Failure that is holding you down, it must hear the Voice of the Lord. If it is Sickness that is holding you down, it must hear the Voice of the Lord. If it is debt (in order words you are owing) that is holding you down, it must hear the Voice of the Lord.

And all these must release you now in the Name of Jesus.

Thank You Father, in Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

1. Finally, you are going to Say: Father, please Open a New Chapter for me – Chapter of Victory, Chapter of Favour, Chapter of Joy, Chapter of Health, Chapter of Pleasant Surprises, Chapter of Breakthrough; Lord Open a New Chapter for me.

Yes Lord, Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Please, I want your Amen to have Flesh and Blood – Amen.

PRAYERS

I decree this Morning that none of Request will go into the Voice Mail in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every Plans of the enemies against you and against your children are destroyed this morning in the Name of Jesus.

Every desires of your heart that is Good; the Lord will grant unto you in the Name of Jesus.

You are here this morning not to Encounter the “Man of God”; you are here to Encounter the “God of Man”.

Brethren, this “God of Man” cannot fail.

I Pray that the Lord will meet you at the Points of your Needs in Jesus Name.

He will Open a New Chapter for you in the Name of Jesus Christ.

The Lord Himself will recommend you to those that will Favour you in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Wherever your “Destiny Helpers” are (I repeat); Wherever your “Destiny Helpers” may be – whether in Nigeria or Outside Nigeria; God will command them to Locate you and to Help you in the Mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I decree that it shall be well with you; your Joy shall be Full, the Glory of God will manifest in your life.

No evil hands will touch you. No Weapon fashioned Against you will Prosper. Any arrows shot at you will go back to the Sender.

It is your “Turn to Celebrate”. Very soon, people will Congratulate You. They will see the Handwriting of God upon your Life and they will envy you in the Name of Jesus.

Father, we Say: Thank You Sir. For in Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

How many of us want Rest from the Lord? – Amen!

I told you that who you know can determine what you get. That is the reason why I said that: “Relationship can determine Possession”.

Jesus Christ is the Provider.

I don’t know what you desire that man cannot give it to you? – Jesus Christ can give to you.

Are you ready to receive from Him? – Yes!

But He said, Come First. Come and I will Help you.

So, if you are here today and you want God to Help you; then you must surrender to Him.

And if you feel like rededicating your life to Him; you are Welcome.

So wherever you are now, you want God to Help you and you want to surrender to Him or you want to rededicate your Life to Him – Just rise on your feet and please Come to the front of the altar side and let us Pray fror you.

You are the one that the Lord is waiting for. He wants to Answer you. He wants to rewrite your records.

Brethren, maybe this is what God is waiting for. I Pray that you won’t leave here the same in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Come quickly, Come and Surrender your Life to Him. He is going to give you Salvation Free of Charge.

They have Come this morning to make the Lord their Shepherd; let us Pray that the Lord will Perfect everything that concerns them – Please Pray for them!

And those who have come to surrender their lives to God: Please tell the Lord that I have come this morning to make you My Shepherd; please have Mercy on me, Forgive me, Take Care of all my Inadequacies and Shortcomings, Perfect Everything that concerns me, Let the enemies fail over me. Open a New Chapter for me: A Chapter of Salvation and a Chapter of Deliverance.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

I Pray for you in Jesus Name that the Almighty God will go to the Foundation of your families and He will rewrite your records.

If there is any Embargo Placed on you because you have taken this Decision this morning; it shall be lifted in Jesus Name – Amen

Remember Brethren that there is no Medicated Soap that can wash away sins – It is Only the Blood of Jesus Christ that can wash away sin.

Father, wash these your children with the Blood of Jesus Christ and let it be well with them my Father.

My Lord Help them. Pray for them and rewrite their records. Thank You my Father.

Every desires of your heart that is Good; the Almighty will grant unto you in Jesus Name – Amen!

It is your Deposits that determines your Withdrawal.

If you don’t have a Deposit in the Account and you want to Withdraw; there is no Provisions for Overdraft here.

So, we want to say Thank You to Jesus Christ with our Substance.

So, shall we bring out our Offerings please. And the baskets are Placed in Strategic Locations where you can locate them.

FINAL PRAYERS

Let us Pray: We Thank You Excellent Father for the Provisions of Funds and Resources.

We are Grateful Lord because we have the Grace to give You today.

Please Father, accept this token; use it to further your Work on Earth. Bless these your children in the Name of Jesus. Let money meet money in their hands. Terminate sorrows and poverty in their lives. Recommend them to those that will bless them.

OPENING PRAYER:

The Ancient of Days you are the King of all kings. You are the Lord of all lords. Father, you are the Alpha, you are the Omega; you are the Beginning, you are the Ending. There is none like unto you.

You can kill and you make alive. You can make a way where there is no way. You can bring out something out of nothing. Who is like unto thee, among the gods?

You are Greater than the greatest; you are Higher than the highest. You are Mightier than the mightiest. You are Better than the best. Who is like unto Thee oh Lord, among the gods?

We appreciate your Faithfulness; we appreciate your love and your kindness. You are Loveable and you are Loving. We thank you very much for what you have done for us. Thank you for sleeping; the miracle of sleeping and waking up. Thank you for provision. Thank you for deliverance; thank you for putting our enemies to shame.

Father, we are grateful this morning, because we are not in the cemetery. We are grateful oh Lord because we are not in the mortuary. We are grateful because we are in your Sanctuary. Father, take all the Glory in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Father, as usual, I like to register my weakness; that there is nothing any Man of God can do without the God of man. You are the God of man. My Father please use me this morning, and bless your children. Bless us and turn us to be blessings.

I pray that beginning from this morning, wherever we go, our lives will begin to reveal your Glory in the Name of Jesus Christ. People will see your handwriting in every department of our lives. Thank you Father Lord.

I thank the Almighty Father, and also our father in the Lord, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, for giving me the opportunity to stand before you this morning. I pray that daddy, you will live long, you will live strong and you will finish strong,  in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

Now, I also want to appreciate all my fathers and mothers in the Lord who are present here this morning. I pray for good health, I pray for long life for them,  in Jesus Name – Amen.

Well, you are welcome to year Two Thousand (2,000) and NICE Things! Two Thousand (2,000) and Nice Things. Glory be to God Almighty.

I read PSALMS 23:6, it says; “Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

It didn’t say; “Reproach or evil load, or problems shall follow me”.

Therefore, I  Prophesy this morning, that every problem, reproach that followed you and into year Two Thousand (2,000) and Nice Things; will receive a Divine Solution in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

If you are poor, the question people will be asking you is: “Who are you?”

But if you are loaded; if you are rich, they will say: “How are you?”.

Beginning from this morning, God will position you to the class of: “How are you?”; in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

So we are in year Two Thousand (2,000) and Nice Things!

The TOPIC is: “THE FIRST FISH”.

The plural of fish is Fish; Fishes refer to the multiple species of Fish. Fish or Fishes , have many benefits to mankind. For instance;

1.They can be Eaten as Food.

In Matthew 14:17-21; Jesus fed five thousand (5,000) men (without counting women and children); with five (5) loaves and two (2) Fish.

My prayer for you this morning is that: throughout this year 2019, God will feed you and your family in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

2. A Fish was used as a Divine Messenger or as a means of Transportation.

Jonah 1:27; God used a Fish, a great one, to swallow up and carry Jonah to Nineveh.

And I discovered that; inside that Fish, there was ‘Network’. Jonah 2:1 tells me that; Jonah made a ‘Call’, he prayed inside the belly of the Fish.

Excuse me, throughout this year, your prayers will not go into the voicemail, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

3. Fish or Fishes Provide Employment Opportunities for some people.

These are people who catch them; these are people who buy and sell them. These are people who train them in other to entertain people. You talk about the Dolphin here.

4. Fish can be used as a ‘Bait’ to catch bigger ones.

Don’t forget that it is the ‘Bait’ that hides the hook.

5. Finally, Fish can be used as a Treasury.

Matthew 17, is my witness. Fish can be used as a Treasury. This is my current discovery.

.. You must be current, if you want to be correct!

This morning by the Grace of God, I like to focus on Matthew 17:24-27.

24. And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? 

25. He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? 

26. Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. 

27. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

“… For me and for thee; for me and for thee!”

May the Lord bless us through the reading of His Words in Jesus Name – Amen.

If you can see the invisible, you will definitely do the impossible.

According to the passage, Peter has a problem; just like you and I. He had no money to pay the “Tribute Collectors”. Fortunately, Jesus intervened. And after that intervention, Peter’s problem was solved.

I pray for you, because you are here today to encounter Jesus (or reading); He will intervene in your situations.

… Those who are Intimate with Jesus can never be intimidated by man.

If Jesus had not been present; Peter would have suffered shame.

You need a Leader as a Ladder!

You need someone in other to get somewhere in life.

Sometimes, who you know is more profitable then what you know.

Peter never suffered shame, because Jesus Christ rescued him.

I have a question for you this morning: My fathers and my mothers; Do you know Jesus? Does He know you?

Like Peter, I believe some of you need money, and we will get it – Amen. Which year? Which month? Which week? Which day?

Is it possible for God to do it for us this day? YES! He will do it in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

I want you to note these important facts: There are so many Fishes in the ocean, but not all of them carry money!”

In 2019, the Fish that carries your MONEY will swim towards you, in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

Jesus told Peter: The “FIRST FISH” that you catch, open the mouth and you will find money in there.

The question is, after the first Fish, Peter never bothered about the other fishes. His focus was on the First Fish.

WHY THE FIRST FISH?

1. The First Fish was the desirable that God made available to Peter.

Peter desired the First Fish, and he caught it.

Sometimes, what you desire is what you will acquire. I want to say this morning, and I believe that God will endorse this request; that this year 2019, God will grant you the desires of your heart in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen. He will make the ‘desirable affordable’ to you in Jesus Name – Amen.

2. The Fish was a Loaded Fish.

No wonder it was needed. “When you are loaded, you will be needed!”

I want to pray for you again, that this year 2019, your Loaded Fish will locate you in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

3. The First Fish was a Special Fish – It possessed what others never had.

Get ready Brethren, before this month expires, you will catch a Special Fish that will change your story for ever and ever and ever – Amen!

4. The First Fish Terminated Labour or activity in the life if Peter.

If Peter had not found the needed money in the mouth of of the First Fish, he would have continued to labour; continued to struggle to cast his hook. But after catching the First Fish and he got what he wanted. He never laboured, he never struggled, he never toiled again.

Throughout this year, my Father in heaven will terminate labour in your life, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

5. The First Fish was  “a Silencer”.

God provided money through the First Fish to prevent or silence the tax or tribute collectors from them taking any negative action against Peter.

I want to pray for you again, that this year 2019, God will give you things that will silence all your mockers, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Amen.

Please I want you to know these important thing, and the statement am going to make this morning. I know it will generate controversy: “The Money that the First Fish carried wasn’t meant for Peter alone”. It was for both Peter and who? And Jesus!

Brethren, Jesus has His own percentage from any money He provides for you – Amen!

And please, I want you to help me listen attentively: “When you are talking, you are the voice; any other person that talks after you is an Echo” – Amen!

Those who will talk, will talk – “God does not deserve tithe”.

He doesn’t deserve 10% at all. He deserves more than 10%. He’s the one that provided the resources. If you are to say the truth, ‘we should give Him more than 10%; and NOT 10%.

I want to say to you my friend; If you gave me a bag of rice, and you visited me after. And from that bag of rice, I give you a ‘Tea spoon full of rice’ to eat. Who am I? An Ingrate!

And the ungrateful is a ‘Great Fool’.

10% out of your resources to the One that provided it, is not enough! Those who will talk, will talk. But it doesn’t matter.

They say: “Wise men speak because they have something to say; but fools speak when they have to say something”.

God doesn’t deserve 10%, He deserves more than 10%.

… You are not talking again!

Peter used the money he got from the First Fish to settle his needs and the needs of Jesus Christ.

So always remember to give Jesus His own portion when you catch your fish and recover your money.

You don’t need money in other to catch the First Fish; but you need the First Fish in other to get money. And wherever that First Fish is, it will swim towards you, in Jesus Name – Amen.

Now, to discover the First Fish, What Do You Need? Very simple:

1. You need a Divine Direction.

Jesus Christ told Peter to go to the sea and cast his hook. Jesus Christ directed him to the right location.

Proverbs 3:6 says: “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”

Commit your ways unto the Lord; trust also in Him and let God direct you.

He told Abraham; “leave your father’s house, leave your people, leave your country and go to a place I will show you.” 

When Abraham got there, God prospered him (Genesis 12).

In Genesis 35, He told Jacob; “go to Bethel”. God prospered him – Divine Direction!

There was famine in the land in Genesis 26 and because of the famine, Isaac wanted to go down to Egypt, God interrupted his plan and said: “No, don’t go down to Egypt, remain in the land of famine”. Isaac obeyed, and God blessed him to the point of envy – Divine Direction!

It is not the wages of a man that maketh him rich. It is the Blessing of the Lord!

You need a Divine Direction before you can catch your First Fish.

2. You must obey Him.

Peter did exactly what Jesus told him to do; and he reaped the rewards of obedience.

I read John  2:5, and it says: “His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.” Whether it agrees with common sense or not, do it!

Most of the time, if not all the time; what Jesus would tell you to do would not agree with common sense. Because His ways are different from man’s ways.

So, whatever He tells you to do, do it!

Through our father in the Lord, we are told to double. And that is the easiest thing anyone can do.

How do you do it?

When you are going to Church on Sunday, just take one unbeliever along; Full Stop!

If we are thirty (30), and we have thirty (30) New People in Church, we have doubled, just one Sunday. The following Sunday, take another unbeliever to the church.

We can double every week. Of course, it is possible!

“Whatever He says unto you, do it!”

You don’t even know; some of the people you are going to preach to may be ‘your own Fish’. And through them, you would be mightily blessed (am talking from experience).

Some of your converts that you will win as from today, the Lord will command them to help you. But if you don’t preach to them, how will they come? How will you catch them? You must obey!

3. There must be a Discovery before a Recovery!

Peter discovered the First Fish before he recovered the needed money.

The crippled beggar at the Beautiful Gate discovered Peter before his Restoration.

There must be a Discovery before a Recovery. That’s the reason we are praying this morning that wherever our First Fish may be, we will discover them.

When you discover your First Fish, then ‘Iyanu’ (Miracle) will follow – Amen.

4. Before one can discover the First Fish, there must be a ‘Casting’.

I used to be a Fisherman; so am talking to you from experience.

“Without a Casting, there will be no catching”.

In Luke 5:6; Peter cast his net, before he experienced his breakthrough.

In John 21:6, Peter and his friends cast their bets before they had an overflow.

You don’t just sit at home and begin to command your First Fish to come. No! You have to work.

… Hard work defeats talent if talent doesn’t work hard.

But Peter cast his hook; that’s another discovery!

I used to be a Fisherman. “No empty hook can catch a Fish”.  No!

Before Peter cast his hook, he used a ‘Bait’.

It is like you want God to bless you. What do you do? There must be a ‘Casting’ first. You give, after giving, He will now give you.

God wanted all of us to be His children.

What did He do?

He is the Almighty God, He can command us; He never did that. He followed the principle ‘Give and Take’. He first gave His only Begotten Son. After that,through Jesus that God gave; you and I have become sons and daughters of the Almighty God.

Let us follow that principle – Give and Take!

If my father had not given my mother something, I wouldn’t have come forth.

Give and Take! “You must cast before catching”.

This morning, during the process of your ‘Casting’ you are going to use a ‘Bait’ to catch bigger Fish. So, whenever you give to the Almighty God: call it any name. Maybe you call it offering, you call it Tithe. You call it any name: “You are giving in other to provoke other blessings”.

That’s offering can be a ‘Bait’ that will catch bigger ones for you. Because ‘Nothing goes for nothing”. God has given you the available; He expects you to use the available on other to provoke the desirable.

In other words, He expects you to use what you have in other to provoke what you WANT.

“If you are keeping or hoarding what you have, then forget about what you want.” That is the Principle.

So, I hope with these ponts of mine, I have been able to convince you are and not to confuse you, that: “It is when you Cast that you will catch”.

And as you catch this year, in the Name of Jesus Christ; God will provide your blessings for you.

So get ready for the First Fish. That First Fish is swimming towards you this year – Amen.

Brethren, it does not matter what people are saying out there, concerning 2019. One thing I believe in is: “this Year will be better than last year for “The Discovery Media Crew” (DMC) – Amen.

I don’t know about you; Year 2019 will be better than Year 2018 for Moses Durodola and Titilayomi Ajayi, in the Name of Jesus -Amen.

That is the reason I call it “Year two thousand (2,000) and Nice Things!”

Now we are going to pray, and I believe, as I said earlier: “Your prayer and my prayer will not go into the voicemail”.

The Network here (in Camp) is very Powerful this morning. So don’t hoard your prayers. Don’t hoard your request.

Shall we please rise now?

1. I want you to thank the Lord for what He has done already. I mean since the beginning of this Year.

What God has done for you? Appreciate Him for what God did for us on Thursday (first Holy Communion, 3rd January 2019) and Friday (Holy Ghost Service, 4tg January 2019).

Let’s give Him the Glory, let’s appreciate Him.

Thank God for that Glory that will begin to manifest, or that has started manifesting in our lives. Show appreciation to Him. Thank the Lord for what He has done. Thank you Father Lord, for what you have done for us as a Church. We are grateful, as individuals, we are grateful. Father, please take all the Glory in Jesus Name – Amen.

The Lord will accept our Thanksgiving, in Jesus Name – Amen.

2. You are going to pray and say: Father; please let the Fish that carries my Money; Swim towards me this year, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Go ahead, tell the Lord.

There are so many Fishes in the ocean; but not all of them carry your money. That particular one that carries your money will swim towards you in year 2019 in the Name of Jesus. Thank you Father Lord, in Jesus Name we have prayed – Amen.

3. Some people decree, but they don’t acquire; You are not one of them, in Jesus Name

So you are going to help me pray, and say Father; please make the desirable available to me this year, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

That which I desire, my Lord, make it available. It is possible, because we are serving a Powerful God; we are serving a Living God. We are serving a God that answers prayers. Lord please make the desirable available unto me, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Father in Jesus Name we have prayed – Amen.

4. You are going to help me pray and say, Father; please give me the blessings that will silence all my enemies, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

The enemies have being talking before now. What will silence them; Father please release unto me now. The Miracles that will silence all my mockers; the blessings that will silence my enemies, Father release to me this morning. I believe you my Father, that you can do it. Up till this moment, you can still create a way where there is no way. I believe you my Father, that up till this day, you can still bring out something out of nothing. Thank you Father Lord, Glory be to your Name oh Lord. In Jesus Name we have prayed – Amen.

5. Finally, I told you earlier, the Bible says: “Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life”. So Goodness and Mercy; you carry them over from one (1) year to another. You are doing the right thing. But not problems following you.

You are going to pray this morning; my problem that followed me to year 2019, I command you in the Name of Jesus; Receive a Divine Solution.

Command it, command that problem: whether it is financial or marital problem. Or spiritual or academical problems. Any problem whatsoever, that followed me to 2019. I command you; I stand on the Altar of the Most High, and I decree with authority: Receive a Divine Solution.

Thank you Father Lord. Blessed be your Name forever Lord. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

ALTAR CALL:

Now, there is this ‘INVITATION’ I received some years ago. I was doubting. I was having this double mind; should I receive this Invitation or reject it? I was in between two (2) opinions. And it was an invitation that will transform my life!

And the Invitation is in Matthew 11:28;  Jesus said: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Should I honour it; This Invitation, and have rest? Or should I continue to labour so that my enemies will begin to laugh at me?

I chose the first alternative; I accepted that Invitation – Brethren, Invitation to Surrender to Jesus Christ. And up till today, I have never regretted it. Never! I never regret it.

Now, I think somebody should also clap for accepting that Invitation. I think it is well by accepting that Invitation. If I have rejected it, then I would have been a fool. (Thank you for clapping for me)

Now, the same Invitation is extended to someone there. Jesus says: “COME!” I know you are struggling, I know you are in labour, I know you have no ‘godfather’; but you have “God the Father”.

I know you are in pains, Come and surrender to Him. Come and He will help you. Come and surrender to Him. And if you feel like rededicatng your life, you are welcome.

… Thank you for clapping for Jesus.

So you can come quickly; anywhere you are, come quickly and surrender to Him. And we will pray for you. Come quickly!

And those of us who are coming, please let’s come very quickly. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are jettisoned; new things will come. Favour will come, Joy will come, peace will come, Victory will come your way. Glory be to God Almighty!

Those of us who have come to surrender to Jesus; I like to congratulate you. Please begin to talk to God and say: Father, I have not come to the Man of God, but I have come to the God of man. Please have Mercy on me. Go ahead, ask God for Mercy. No ‘Medicated soap’ can wash away sins. It is only the Blood of Jesus that can do it.

I want you to say this morning, Father; wash me with the Blood of Jesus Christ. I have come to you this morning, my Father please settle me. Open a New Chapter for me, in the Name of Jesus. Please go to the foundation of my family and alter my record.

If there is any embargo in your family; because you have taken this decision this morning. The embargo shall be lifted in the Name of Jesus. The Lord will write your names in the Book of Life. Every desires of your heart (that is good); the Lord will grant unto you. So shall it be! Let’s bring our prayers to a close. In Jesus Name we have prayed – Amen.

I want to congratulate you my brothers and sisters; for taking this quality decisions. Very soon, your Testimonies will come. You are welcome, in Jesus Name. I want you to kindly follow that brother who is lifting up a Counselling Board. Give him your names, your contact addresses, and if possible your prayer request. THANKSGIVING:

Now, it is time to CAST! Peter cast his hook before he caught his First Fish and before he recovered his money. And I told you: ‘No empty hook can catch Fish’. So there must be a ‘Bait’. You must use something in the hook. Either a smaller fish or other things that will ‘Entice’ or attract the bigger fishes. And I know from studies, that “Money is the seed of Money”. If you want to catch Money; ” YOU MUST CAST MONEY”.

So let us bring out our offerings; that you know God deserves. The type that will catch your Fish before recovery of your blessing.

LET US PRAY: Father, Almighty God, we want to thank you for the privilege we have this morning to cast.

My Lord, I pray that this casting of this morning will provoke a catching. That even before the end of this week, people will see your handwriting in our lives. Thank you my Father. In the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!

So there are baskets placed very close to you; dance towards the baskets, drop your offerings and dance back to your seats. Lord will accept our offerings in Jesus Name – Amen.

I like to say congratulations to all of you. That which you would have loved to tell Daddy GO, if you had met him; tell it to Jesus this morning. Tell it to Jesus. He said: “if ye shall ask anything in my Name, I will do it”. The Lord will answer you; He will answer you speedily. The Lord will terminate sorrows in your lives and in your homes. The Lord will open a New Chapter for you. The Lord will put the enemies to shame in your lives. I command the owners of evil loads that you are carrying; to carry their loss in the Name of Jesus.

Those of you that are sick, I pray the Lord will take you to His own Theater and He will operated Divinely on you, in Jesus Name. Every good thing you desire this morning, you will acquire. Your life will reveal God’s Glory in the Name of Jesus. Through the prayer of this morning, you will testify!

Yes Lord; let’s bring our prayers to a close. In the Name of Jesus we have prayed – Amen.

Now, those who want to join us to do the this FINAL PRAYER; Brethren, I still believe that you can still get the New Year Present from God.

Is it possible? YES! So whatever you want God to do for you; wherever you are: please go before Him. Talk to Him. He is your God.

He says in Jeremiah  32:27: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” With Him all things are possible. He says: “Ask, and you will receive”. ASK/4 times. He has never failed and He will never fail. Ask!

What do you desire? ASK! What do you want God to do for you? Ask Him; tell it to Him. Let God hear your voice. Whoever is holding unto your blessings up till this moment; I command the person to release them NOW! In the Name of Jesus.

Let’s begin to bring our prayers to a close. The Lord will answer your petitions, in the Name of Jesus Christ. The Lord will grant you the desires of your heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

CLOSING DECREES: Brethren I decree, even as you would depart from this Sanctuary; you will begin to hear Good News. I cover all of  you with the Blood of Jesus Christ.

I decree this morning that no evil hand will touch you. No evil eyes will see you. Any arrow shut at you will go back to senders. Wherever your children are, it shall be well with them.

Oh! those of them that are marriageable, but they are still single; the Lord will give them the bones of their bones and the flesh of their flesh. Those who are looking for jobs, the Lord will give them good ones, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

Brethren, everything you require to make things happen in your life; God will provide MIRACULOUSLY. So shall it be. In Jesus Name we have prayed –  Amen!

I want someone to say: Thank you Jesus – THANK YOU JESUS!
