OPENING PRAYER

The Owner of the Heavens and the Earth – The One who knows the End from the Beginning; the One who Speaks and it is done; the Only One who says I am The Sovereign One, the One who can Change Death to Life and can Change Curses to Blessings; we Worship You. Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Today Father, we Your Children are gathered again at Your Feet, Please speak to us, teach us Oh Lord, Challenge us, draw us Closer to Yourself and Plesse let Your Perfect Purpose alone be fulfilled in our lives.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

We are still looking at 1 Kings 19: 19-21 and this is “GOING HIGHER – PART 69”.

1 Kings 19: 19-21:

19. So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was Plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah Passed by him, and cast his Mantle upon him.
20. And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I Pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?
21. And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the People, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.
22. A lot can happen in a Day.

Elisha woke up as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a very thriving Agricultural Enterprise and before the day was over; he has become a Servant of a “Homeless Prophet” – All in one day!

A. God can end tears in one day – 1 Samuel 1: 9-20.

The Bible tells us that years after years; Hannah had been going to Shiloh, tormented by barrenness and the other wife.

And then one day, she was weeping sore as she was Praying, agonising and God noticed her and spoke a Word through the High Priest. The Bible said that she wept no more.

I represent the Most High God today and I decree into the Life of all those of you who are weeping (even those reading now on the Label of DMC); you shall weep no more – Amen!

B. In 2 Kings 5: 1-14; Naaman woke up a Leper, he had everything going for him but there was a “Huge Reproach” in his Life. And within a day; just the time it took him to dip himself into Jordan seven (7) times, his reproach was gone and gone forever.

In the Name that is above every other names; I decree: Every reproaches in your Life will end today – Amen!

C. In Exodus 12: 1-42; the Bible tells us that the children of Israel have been in bondage for four hundred and thirty (430) years and in a Single Day, the bondage was over.

I believed that you will be 100% in Agreement with me that in the Name of the Almighty God, the bondage of your Nations will end suddenly today – Amen!

D. In Exodus 14: 1-28; the children of Israel were by the Red Sea, thinking that: Praise God, we are Free at Last. And then they looked back and they saw the enemies of Generations about to Catch Up with them again, to take them back to bondage.

But within 24 Hours – Just like the Man of God said that the enemies they have seen today, they won’t see them ever again.

They were drowned – All the Host of Egypt. And not only were they drowned, the Sea closed back so that there is no Possibility of Israel even going back to Egypt.

Every enemies in your Generation – All the Curses that they have accumulated; I Pray today in the Name that is above every other names, they will be over today – Amen!

E. In 2 Kings 7: 1-end; the Bible shows us clearly that the Siege of a City can end in a day. That the enemies who has laid Siege on a whole City can hear a noise from Heaven so that by the time the day was over; the Besieged has become free.

Hunger ended, Terror within, Terror without ended in one day.

I Prophesy to all Nations where the Children of God are represented here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – The Siege on your Nations will be over today (Amen).

F. In John 5: 2-9; the Bible tells us of a Man who has been “Incurably Sick” for 38 years – Helpless, Lonely, a Failure, Defeated and in a “Single Day”; everything came to an abrupt end because God located him.

I Pray that the God I serve will locate you today and put an end to all your Age-Long Problems – Amen!

G. In Mark 10: 46-52; is the Story of Bartimaeus that you know very well.

A Man who has been blind, who has been living in darkness for all these years; suddenly discovered that darkness can lose it’s hold on Someone and do so suddenly.

It doesn’t matter how many evil forces are working against you, working against your family; today in the Name that is above every other names; there will be Light – Amen!

H. On the other hand in 2 Kings 5: 20-27; the Son of a Prophet can become a Leper in one day because he lied against the Man of God.

I. In Daniel 4: 28-37; a King can become an animal in a day and remain an animal for seven (7) years until God in His Infinite Mercies saw the Repentance in his heart and restored him in a day that there was no Sign that he was ever made before.

I Pray that today will be a New Beginning for you – Amen!

2. Then apart from the fact that within a Day, a lot could happen. And I’m believing God that it doesn’t matter how you start today, you are going to end the day well – Amen!

There is this Strange thing that Elisha did that we could learn again from – He burnt his oxen (Roasted the Meat, use the Plough to Prepare the food, gave it to the People to eat and then became a Servant).

Elisha was saying loud and clear: “FORWARD EVER, BACKWARD NEVER”. As it were, he burnt the boat!

I don’t know if you have heard the Story before – The Captain led some People on a Voyage in those days when People from one Part of the world don’t even know if there were People in the other end. They left Europe, got to this Country in South America, came out of the boat.

But unknown to them, the Captain had rigged the boat with Gun Powder and everything. And so as all the Soldier got on the Land, they looked back to see their boat burning.

So he said to them: We are here to stay; we are not going home now – This is our home!

Are you “Going Higher” with the Lord? Because very, very soon; we will be getting into some deep waters.

I believed that by now, it should be time for you to make up your Mind – Are you going Forward or is there any Possibility at all of your looking back?

Remember Hebrews 10: 38-39 – The Word of God made it clear: If anyone draws back, God says my Soul shall have no Pleasure in him.

In Luke 9: 61-62; Jesus Christ said: Once you lay your hands on the Plough; if you as much as look back, He said that you are not fit to be my Disciple.

In Philippians 3:14; Paul said that I am Pressing On towards the Prize of the High Calling.

Why did Elisha burn the Oxen? Somehow he has discovered that God is calling him to Higher Heights – I am a farmer, I am Successful, God is Calling me to a Higher Level.

Years ago, one of my boys working in an Oil Company where they were Payijg in Dollars – He was a High Man there. He came to me and said: I feel God is Calling me to Full Time Service. I must tell you daddy, I don’t like it but since it seems that He has done the same thing to you, that is why I have come to you for advice.

I laughed – I say that you don’t have to tell me. I know that my Salary then was more than the entire Income of the Church.

I said: My son, you want my advise? – He said Yes!

I said God is asking you to exchange Sugar for Honey! He is Calling you out of Sugar into Honey!

He reminded me some Years later – He said: Thank You for using that illustration. I might not be as rich as I could have been now but I have something that money cannot buy – I have satisfaction, I have Anointing, I have Influence, I have Respect.

High Calling – When God calls you, He is Calling you to a Higher Level!

Philippians 3: 7-11 – Paul the Apostle said: All that were Gain to me, I count them as dung (I let them go) that I may win Christ.

There is a Prize called: Prize of High Calling!

In other words, if you lay your hands on the Plough – You made up your Mind that I want to serve this God wholeheartedly. And you for one reason or the othee decided to say: I’m not going forward anymore. You will be returning to dung. That’s what Paul call it.

2 Peter 2: 20-22; the Bible tells us that it is the same thing as a dog returning to his vomit.

I told you that we will be getting into some deep waters.

Can you imagine the Story in Mark 10: 46-52 – The Story of Bartimaeus.

Read that the Story very well – The moment Jesus Christ gave him Light, the moment He opened his eyes; the Bible says that he followed Jesus Christ in the way.

Can you imagine Bartimaeus deciding some couples of day later: I am not following Jesus Christ again all the way.

What does that one mean? – He might be saying: Bye-bye to Light, Darkness come again.

Brethren, Colossians 1: 12-13 tells us that we have been translated out of Darkness into Light. If you dare look back, you are saying Darkness come again.

1. Some of you know this Story – A Man came to Ebute Metta (National Headquarters Parish) years ago. Every limps as stiff and stretch like a rod: Hands, legs; he couldn’t bend his knees to knee. His hands just go straight like Pieces of wood, Rod.

He came, we said: Will you give your Life to Jesus Christ? He said Yes!

We Prayed a very Simple Prayer and that very day; he began to kneel down, raise his hands, clap and do all the things that he was unable to do before.

For about two (2) weeks, he was coming and we were rejoicing together with him. And then all of a sudden, we didn’t see him again. And we followed him up.

When we got to his house, do you know what he said to us: When you are sick, you go to the Hospital and when you are well, don’t you come back home?

I came to your Church, I got my Healings – Is it your Church that healed me? I got what I wanted and I’m back home now.

A couple of Months later, I was driving to the University of Lagos Campus where I was still working then and I saw the same Man coming – Not only is the hand stretched again, stiff and walking as if a Triangle. But now, even the mouth can’t close.

2. Do you remember this Story – A Man who swallowed “Money Charm” and they told him that you will die after seven (7) years but you will be stinkingly rich. So he swallowed the Charm but no Money came.

And Year by Year, when everybody is saying Happy New, he will say: God, one year gone. And what he swallowed, began to bite him inside.

He came to Ebute Metta (National Headquarters Parish) – Will you give your Life to Jesus Christ? He said Yes. He vomitted the thing that he swallowed right there before the Altar. We all rejoiced with him. And for a while, he was coming and we were all rejoicing together.

Then all of a sudden, we didn’t see him anymore and so followed him up.

Bro, we are not seeing you in Fellowship again. Ha, they told me that I swallowed that one wrongly. You mean you have swallowed another one correctly? He said Yes!

This time, Money came and years Passed years and he began to count the number of years. When the seventh (7th) Year was in, he has a “Brain Wave” – Afterall what I swallowed is a demon. If I run away to Europe, the demon in Africa lives in Hot Weather but over there is Cold Weather.

… He died on the Plane!

We are talking about: “Going Higher”; we are talking about burning your boat.

Romans 12:1 says: I beseech you Beloveth; over your Body, a Living Sacrifice. You surrender to God and let it be Total.

In Philippians 1: 20-21, Paul said: Whether in Living or in Dying; I belong to Christ.

In Galatians 2:20; He said: I am crucufied with Christ, nevertheless I live. But the Life I’m living now; Oh it is not me anymore, it is Christ living in me.

Brethren, check your Commitment to God – If it is not Total, make it Total today. To look back is to go into Pardition!

ALTAR CALL

As for those of you who has not even surrender your Life to Jesus Christ; you better run now. Get out of Darkness, come into Light, become a Brand New Creature and let your tomorrow be Bright.

If you want to surrender your Life to Him now, bow your Head now and cry to Him and say: Lord, I surrender my Life to You and I surrender it all Completely. I will serve You for the rest of my Life and He will take over from there.

Pray to Him now and I will Pray for you in a moment.

Ask the Lord to save your Soul, tell Him that I surrender all, take me over, everything – Body, Soul and Spirit and I will serve You forever.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

Ancient of Days, we bless Your Name once again for Your Words.

We are Thanking You especially for those who has surrendered their lives to You today – Please, receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins and let them remain Yours Forever. Let their Surrender be Total and Complete today so that for the rest of their lives, it will be Forward Ever and Backward Never.

As for those of us who are already Your Children; who claimed that we have surrendered our lives to You; Please Lord today, let us re-dedicate our lives to You – To serve You 100% for the rest of our lives so that on the Last Day, in Your Glory; none of us will be missing.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Again, I rejoice with those of you who has decided to surrender your lives to Jesus Christ – I Promise you that I will be Praying for you.

OPENING PRAYER

Beloveth Jesus, the Lamb of God. The One who love you so much that He laid down His Life for us; The One who took away our Curse by becoming a Curse for us; The One who Change our Curses to Blessings – The Blessings of Abraham. We Worship You.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for everything that You have done for us – Thank You for the Salvation of our Souls, Thank You for the Hope of Glory, Thank You because we know that our tomorrow will be alright. Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Well, wave your hands to two (2) or three (3) People around you and say: The Almighty God will bless you today – Amen!

We will continue with our Series: “GOING HIGHER” as we move on to Part 68 – “GOING HIGHER – PART 68”.

And we will be reading from: 1 Kings 19: 19-21:

In our Last Discussion, we were emphasing the need for Diligence – If we are to enjoy the Anointing of God; we Pointed out the fact that God doesn’t give His Anointing to Lazy People because He knows that they will waste it.

But then, I’m sure that you will want to ask a Question – Sir, are you saying that Elisha was the Only Diligent Person in the whole Land?

Afterall God Himself said that He has seven thousand (7,000) others beside Elijah. Was Elisha chosen simply because he was the only one among the seven thousand (7,000) who was Diligent. Definitely not!

It brings us to a very important Topic and that is the Topic of something called: “DESTINY”.

I’m sure at least those of you who are in Nigeria – You know when we want to admit People to the University and they will grade them. I think the grading begin for four hundred (400) for the Best and then goes all the way down. And then, they will Pass their results on to the Universities.

And then, each University depending on their own Standard will decide what will be the Cut Off Mark for the Students that they will admit.

Maybe they have four hundred (400) Spaces for People that they want to admit and so they said: Well, the Cut Off Mark for the Students to be admitted into this Particular University can be say two hundred and seventy (270) – You must score at least two hundred and seventy (270) in the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (Jamb) Exams.

And so, they begin to look at the List of those who has applied – And by the time they get to two hundred and seventy one (271) and above and they already had three hundred and ninety nine (399) Students in – So, there is just one (1) more Place they need.

So, they will drop down to their two hundred and seventy (270) Cut Off Mark and they discovered that a thousand (1,000) Students/Applicants who scored two hundred and seventy (270) but they needed only one (1)

So, how do you choose one (1) out of all these People who are equally qualified?

Revelations 4:11 tells us that: Our God is a God of Purpose. He created all things and He created all things for His Pleasure.

He (God) doesn’t create anybody without a Purpose in Mind!

Acts 15:18 tells us that He knows the End from the Beginning – Known to God are all His works from the Foundation of the world!

Isaiah 46:10 says: He declares the End from the Beginning.

And in Jeremiah 1: 4-5 – He says clearly: Before you are born, He has concluded everything about you.

In Romans 9: 10-13; the Bible says that there were a Set of Twins in the womb of the same Mum. And God said that before they were born at all; Jacob I Love, Esau I hate.

… They were not born yet, they have not done anything yet; but the One Who knows the End from the Beginning says: This is Settled – This boy is the one I Love, that one I hate him!

Romans 9:17; the Bible says that the reason He brought forth Pharaoh into the world, the reason He Promoted Pharaoh, the reason He made Pharaoh so Great is that when He drowns him, the world will Pay attention.

There is something called “DESTINY” – Before you are born, God has a Purpose for your Life!

What is God’s Purpose for my Life? – It is a very important Question you need to ask!

You must ask that Question today and Pray that God will give you the answer!

1. In Genesis 50: 15-22; the brothers of Joseph came to him after their father died.

And they said that we know that we have wrong you, now we are your Servants. Have Pity on us even though our father is dead. Don’t now come and revenge.

Joseph said that you thought that you are doing me evil but you are Pushing me towards my Destiny.

The Purpose God created me was only fulfilled through your activities – I should be thanking you. If you had not sold me to Slavery, how will I have gotten to Egypt? How will I become the Prime Minister now?

2. In Exodus 3: 1-15; it became clear to Moses after he has been alive for eighty (80) Years that the Purpose of him being born was to deliver a Nation.
3. When you read Joshua 1: 1-8; it became clear to Joshua that I was born to Complete the work of Moses – Where Moses failed, I am to succeed.

But in the case of Joshua, I will show you something interesting about this thing called “Destiny”.

You will remembered that when Moses sent some Spies to go and Spy the Land (You can read that in Numbers 13: 17-30).

And the twelve (12) Spies came back and ten (10) of them said that we can’t take the Land. The Bible tells us that there were only two (2) of them that said “Yes”, we can take the Land.

But read that Numbers 13: 17-30 clearly; you will discovered that, that first night, it was Caleb who spoke. It was Caleb who said that we can take the Land but Joshua was quiet.

It was only the Second Day as recorded in Numbers 14: 1-10 that Joshua spoke and said: Yes, we can take the Land.

So, if God was to choose a Successor to Moses, should it be Joshua? Why not Caleb who was the first to speak?

… He was the first to say: The Lord is on our Side, we can do it – Joshua kept quiet at first! But there is something called Destiny.

4. And then look at two (2) People called Aaron and Hur in Exodus 17: 8-13.

When Moses was on the Mountaintop, at the battle with the Amelekites. There were two (2) People who were lifting up his hands – Aaron and Hur. And yet in Exodus 40: 12-13; it was Aaron who was now chosen to be the High Priest (Aaron and his children).

Where was Hur?

5. And when you look at Luke 8: 1-3; do you know that among those People who were named as the Divine Treasurer of Jesus Christ was a woman called Mary Magdalene; out of whom the Lord had to cast out seven (7) demons so that she can become what God Planned for her to be – A Divine Treasurer.
6. And then, there were some People who are not even named but who are Children of Destiny.

I. 2 Kings 5: 1-19; the Bible tells us that in the house of Naaman, there was a Maid (The name was not mentioned).

When you read that Story, you will say okay the housemaid was born to bring Healings to Naaman – Oh, that is wonderful but she is much more than that.

Because after Naaman got healed and he brought Gifts to Elisha and Elisha refused the Gifts. He said to Elisha: Give me some soil. I’m taking the Presence of your God to my Country, I am going there to build an Altar. From this moment onwards, I will only serve your God.

… That is the Purpose for which that “Little Girl” was born.

II. Look at John 6: 5-13; the Lord was in Need. He wanted to feed a lot of People. And His Disciples said that there was a Lad there (They did not give us the name).

He surrendered his Meal and with the Meal, the Lord fed five thousand (5,000) People and there was leftovers.

That boy was born to be around when God is going to be in Need!

What is your Purpose? Why were you born?

Because we see here in the Story of Elisha that he was farming. Whereas the Purpose of God for him was to become the ^Father of Kings” – 2 Kings 13: 14-21.

By the time he was about to die and he fell sick; Kings came and said: My father, my father.

Are you farming? When God is expecting you to fulfill a Purpose so Mighty that Kings will be calling you father?

7. Look at Luke 5: 1-11; Peter was fishing for fish but God created him to fish for Souls.

What is the Purpose of God for your Life? – Very, very serious; you need to ask! Particularly as the time is going, you need to know God’s Purpose for your Life before it is too late.

I have told you before – My driver came to me one day and said: Daddy, I have found out my Purpose. I believed that God created me to drive you, take you to wherever you are going so that you can Preach the Gospel to them.

He said: Daddy, you may not know this: As soon as I take you there, as you begin to Preach, I begin to Pray!

What is your Purpose?

There are People who are doing Tailoring when God’s Purpose for them is to be a Barber.

You say that Scissor is Scissor – But one Scissor is for barbing while another Scissor is for cutting Clothes.

That brings us to a very serious Question – Have we any say in the Issue of our Destiny at all?

1. Because according to Psalms 33:11; the Bible says that the Purpose of God, that is what is going to Stand.
2. In Proverbs 19:21; the Bible says that regardless of anything Man can do, many are the devices of Man but the Counsel of God, that is what will Stand.
3. Isaiah 46: 9-10; God says: I declare the End from the Beginning and my Counsel shall Stand.

Okay, if He has Ordained it, if He has already Pre-determined what I will become; have I a say in the matter?

Oh Yes, He (God) allowed you to have a say!

1. Deuteronomy 30: 19-20; He said that I’m calling the Heavens and the Earth to bear Witness that I’m Placing before you Blessings and Curses; Life and Death. Then He says: Choose Life that you may live (You and your Seed).
2. The Bible says in Psalms 119:89; He said: Even though Oh Lord thy Word is Settled Heaven.
3. The same God said in Ezekiel 33: 13-19; He said: If I say this Sinner you are going to die; if the Sinner repents, He said that I will Change your Mind.

If I say to a Righteous Man that you are going to live and then the Righteous Man said okay; God said that I’m going to live and then begins to sin, He said that he will die.

4. In 1 Samuel 2:30; He opened his mouth and said: Tell Eli, I said indeed that you and your father’s house shall serve me forever. He said that but now I said be far from me.

What is God saying? – As we say in one of our Proverbs: It is the White Man that made Pencil that also made Eraser.

Consider Romans 9: 10-13; when God said: Jacob I Love, Esau I hate.

And then come Genesis 27: 26-40 – Everyone says that Jacob got the Blessing but Esau did something – Alright, I mess up and I have lost my Blessing and then he got busy.

By the time you get to Genesis 32: 3-12; when Jacob (The Best) heard that Esau was coming with four hundred (400) Bodyguards; it was Jacob who trembled with fear.

When you get to Genesis 33: 8-9; when Jacob said: Hey brother, I brought you these animals, I have got Plenty things. He (Esau) said – Hey, I have enough, keep your own.

Let me quickly round up before you Pray and ask God to reveal to you His Purpose for your Life!

There is something called: “THE PERMISSIVE WILL OF GOD”.

In other words, God has a Purpose for your Life but you say No, I don’t want that, I’m going to have my way!

God will say: No Problem, you are a Human Being. I give you the Ability to Choose. I will let you Choose then you will have what you said that you must have at all cost!

And then when you get what you said that you want at all cost, you will regret that you ever say that I want my Will done and not God’s Will.

I will give you an Example – Matthew 26: 24-25. Jesus Christ said to His Disciples: The Son of Man is going as it is written about Him – My Own Case is Settled and I’m going. But woe to him by whom the Son of Man is betrayed. He said that it is better that he was never born.

Judas Iscariot answered and said: Is it I?

So, the boy knew that he was the one God was talking about.

And the Lord said: Thou has said it.

What should Judas Iscariot do when you are confronted with that kind of Direct Revelation?

He should have said: I Change my Mind. But he didn’t – And you know the rest of the Story!

He went ahead, he did what he wanted to do, he collected the money that he wanted to collect but he never spent it!

I was talking to my children in one of our Morning Devotions not too long ago – There are two (2) daughters of mine (Very Precious to me and Close to my family).

One of them came to me and said that I have found the fellow that I wanted to marry – I said Congratulations! I said am I allowed to Pray? And she said of course you can Pray!

I said: Father, if this Person Your daughter said she found is not Your Perfect Will for her; scatter the matter.

Within weeks, God scattered the matter.

But another daughter of mine came and said: Daddy, I have found Someone I’m going to marry. I said: Praise God! You want me to Pray about it? – No, No; I don’t want your “Scatter Prayer”. I have just came to tell you that we have fixed a date for the Wedding.

Okay, what date? She said such and such date. Ha, that date is not convenient for me? She said that it doesn’t matter.

So, she got married, had two (2) children. And you know the kind of situation you can’t come back and say what are you going through?

And finally, she came and said: I marry the wrong Man.

I said that it is already too late. What am I going to do now?

Are you Pursuing your own Will? Or your Own Purpose instead of God’s Purpose?

Let us bow our head in Prayers!

Those of you who has not yet get Born Again and you are running your own Show; you are in Danger. The Purpose of God for you is that you are not to die in sin but you are to surrender your Life to Him so that you won’t go to Hell.

I advise you that you surrender your Life to Him now – Cry to Him and say that I surrender, save my Soul so that Your Purpose can be fulfilled in my Life.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

Oh Father, I want to say Thank You – Thank You for Your Words.

And I’m committing to Your Hands, especially those of you who has decided to yield to Your Purpose, to surrender their lives to You,

Please receive them, save their Souls, wipe away their sins with Your Blood, receive them into the Family of God.

And Please Lord from now on, let Your Purpose be fulfilled in their lives and let them serve you till the End.

And I Pray for all Your Children, who may have one Ambition or the other – If the Ambition is not according to Your Perfect Purpose; Father scatter it

Let Your Perfect Will and Your Perfect Will alone be done in their lives.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

God of Abraham – The Covenant Keeping God; God of Isaac – The God of Multiplication; God of Jacob – The Only One who can Change a Man to a Nation; we Worship You.

Thank You for all You have done for us in the Past; Thank You for what You are doing now; Thank You for what You are going to do in the Future. Thank You for where You are taking us; Thank You for Glory ahead. Father, Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

My Father and my God; I Pray that everything Your Children needs to hear so that they can become what You Planned for them to become, Father send it to them today, Stand by us Lord; Strengthen us and let Your Joy be our Strength.

We will continue with our Series on: “GOING HIGHER” and now we are in Part 67 – “GOING HIGHER – PART 67”.

And we are still on 1 Kings 19:19 – So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was Plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah Passed by him, and cast his Mantle upon him.

Last Sunday (17th July, 2022 during the Part 66 of “Going Higher”); we stressed the Need for Diligence – That while God is Sovereign (He can do whatever He likes) but He insist on Diligence!

If you are going to get to “Great Heights” in God; then you must be ready for Hardwork!

You see, this is because every Good things demands Hardwork – Whether you believed it or not!

For Example, in 2 Corinthians 9:6; the Bible says that if you sow bountifully, you will reap bountifully.

What does that mean?

Sowing bountifully is Hardwork – Ask any farmer. If you are going to sow on a large farm, then you are going to work hard.

But do you know that in reaping bountifully is harder work? – Harvest is harder work than sowing.

Why? – Because there is a time limit for Harvesting – You don’t harvest in the time limit, then the Fruit will rot.

My Prayer is that your Harvest will be Great – Amen!

I give you another Prayer – That God will give you the Grace to be able to bring in the Harvest (Amen).

When Peter casted his Net and caught so much fish that he could not carry them alone in his boat; he sent for Others to come and help him – That is “Double Hardwork”.

Proverbs 12:27 says that the Lazy (The Slotful) Man will not roast the meat he caught in hunting.

Do you know what that means?

Hardwork to hunt, harder work to Prepare what you have caught so that it will not rot.

God is not going to waste His Anointing on a Man who will win Souls and not Follow them Up!

Soul Winning is a easier job to do than following them up until they mature!

That is why some People Prefer the work of an Evangelist to that of a Pastor.

An Evangelist will just get up there:

I. Jesus Saves – Amen

II. He Heals – Amen.

III. He Loves you – Amen.

IV. He has sent me to you today and today is your Day of Salvation – Amen.

V. You want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; come Forward – Amen.

And then the Evangelist Packs his loads and disappeared – Leaving the Pastor to do the Hardwork of New Converts in Training, moving them from there to Worker’s in Training, Watching over them until they can Stand on their own feet.

It is easier to give birth to a baby than to take care of the baby until he/she becomes an Adult.

Ask those People who are already Family People – They will tell you that the work of a Mother over her children never ends – By the time the children are becoming Mothers, the Grandma has just started work.

God will not give Anointing to Somebody who is Slotful!

As a matter of fact; in Proverbs 18:9; God describes the Lazy Man as a Waster – He won’t waste His Anointing on you if you are Lazy!

… That’s why I’m hammering on the “Issue of Diligence” – Hardwork.

It takes Hardwork to be a Champion!

I used to be a Boxer; it takes harder work to remain a Champion than to become one.

When you are struggling to become a Champion – You stress yourself, you do Road work, you wake up early. While everybody is sleeping, you are running, you are “Shadow-Boxing”, you are doing everything and then you become a Champion – Congratulations!

And from that day onwards, everybody will be Pursuing your Crown.

And you know yourself, if you have any sense at all that it is better never to become a Champion than to be an Ex-Champion.

The Pain of the Ex-Champion is not bruises on the body; it is the shame of walking on the Street and those who has been calling you Champion seeing you coming and they turn their faces.

I Pray for all of you listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC – You will reach the Top and God will give you the Grace to stay on Top!

… It’s going to require Hardwork! The Anointed cannot afford to be Lazy.

Read Isaiah 61: 1-3; it says: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me.

Anointed me for what? – To sit down and fold my hands?

1. To Preach the Good News.

Acts 1:8 says: You shall receive the Power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be Witnesses to me,

Witnesses to me where? – Just in the comfort of your Church? No!

You may start at Jerusalem. But you are going to go to Judea and you will then Proceed to Samaria and then you are to Proceed to the Uttermost Part of the world.

… Anointing is not for Laziness, it is for Hardwork. You are going to Preach.

2. You are to Heal.

Marks 16:18 says that you will lay hands on the Sick and they will recover.

Beautiful, isn’t it? You want Power so that you can lay hands on the Sick and they can be healed.

Let me show you one Passage of the Bible – Matthew 8: 14-18 and you will see that the moment that you have the Healing Gift, the crowd will come.

Jesus Christ healed the Mother In-Law of Peter and in the Evening they brought all those who are Sick, all those who are Demon Poasessed – The News spread and they began to come and come and come.

Read that Passage and you will see something there – My Lord Himself when He saw the Multitude when the crowd became overwhelming; he dodged. He had to go to somewhere else.

… You want Anointing and you are not ready for Hardwork? You have a lot to do as you will Preach, you will Heal, you will Comfort the Broken Hearted, anyone in any form of trouble will call on you, you are to Set the Captives Free, all the People with Demons will be Paying you constant visits.

And if you know what casting out Demons means; it means in Ephesians 6:12 wrestling. You will be wrestling with Forces of Darkness.

Is wrestling for the Lazy?

The Lord Jesus Christ had Anointing – How God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and with Power who went about doing Good and Healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).

But read your Bible – In Marks 6:31; He had to tell the Disciples: Hey, let’s take a break because they became so busy and there wasn’t enough time to eat.

… Anointing is not for Lazy People! – I’m not saying this to frightened you but to get you Prepared because even before today is over; Someone is going to get Anointed – Amen!

I told you (At least some of you heard me say it before) – When I read the Bible and it says: Covet earnestly the Best Gifts.

I said God, I got it – I want Double of the Anointing on Elisha, Double of Anointing on Paul, Double the Anointing on Peter, Double the Anointing even on the Lord Jesus Christ while He was here and then Double it again. That is what I want!

And I told you what He (God) told me – How Stupid we can be.

Someone was asking me not too long ago – Oh daddy, I heard that you travel Abroad and I said Yes.

What for? I said I went for Vacation.

He then asked me: How many Sermons do you Preach on your Vacation? – Not many, just two (2) in England and then we moved on to have Convention in Europe (EUROCON 2022) and then …

He said: Is that Vacation? And I said Yes!

If you are not ready for Hardwork, Please don’t Pray for Anointing – Anointing is not for Lazy People. Get that Clear!

But then, there is something else that followed – Which is very exciting and I want to share with you today from our Bible Text: 1 Kings 19:19.

As Elijah was Passing by Elisha; he cast his Mantle upon him!

I want to talk to you about: “A BRUSH WITH FIRE”.

In Malachi 4:2; it is written: But unto you that fear my Name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with Healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

… Healing in His wings! – I Pray that the Healing wings will brush you today – Amen!

Anything that the Holy Spirit has touched has been touched by Fire and it will Change Permanently!

Because the Life of Somebody is about to Change totally today – Amen.

1. In Exodus 3: 1-5, the Bible tells us that the Fire of God touched that backside of the Desert and God called it from that moment onwards: “Holy Ground” – Moses take off your shoes, where you are Standing now is “Holy Ground”.

How Holy was the Ground?

Well Exodus 4: 7-20; Moses what is in your hand? He says Rod. Throw it on the Ground. And as soon as the Rod touches the Ground, it became a Serpent – The Rod has touched the Holy Ground.

By the time you get to Verse 20 there (Exodus 4:20); the Bible says that Moses left for Egypt. He took this, this and this and he took the Rod of God in his hand.

The Rod of the Shepherd has turned to the Rod of God because that Rod has touched the Holy Ground!

2. But there is something there that you might not noticed – When Moses threw that Rod down and it became a Serpent and the Lord asked him – Pick up the Serpent by the tail. As he was Picking the Serpent by the tail, his own hand touched the Holy Ground – And that hand was no longer an “Ordinary Hand” again!

You don’t believed me:

I. Read Exodus 17: 8-13 – When there was war between the Israelites and the Amelekites and Moses went to the Hill Top. As long as he (Moses) raised up his hands, the children of Israel were Prevailing; when his hands got tired, the Other People began to win.

There were two (2) People with him (Moses) – Aaron and Hur. They had four (4) hands; Moses had only two (2) hands but they knew that hands were different from hands. The hand that had touched the Holy Ground is different from an “Ordinary Hand”.

I’m Praying that today or as you read now on the Label of DMC; you are going to have “A Brush With Fire” – Amen! That even your hands will no longer be Ordinary – Amen!

II. His (Moses) hands has now become hands that can now transit Wisdom – According to Deuteronomy 34:9: And Joshua, the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of Wisdom because Moses has laid his hands on him.

3. 2 Kings 4: 38-41; the sons of the Prophet were hungry and Elisha (If God wants, we will spend some times on Elisha later) told his Servants: Alright, let’s do some cooking for the boys. But Somebody had gone out and had brought in Poisonous Fruits and cut it into the food.

Such that when the People tried to eat the food, they discovered that this is Poison!

Elisha said: Bring me some flowers!

Since when does flowers become an antidote to Poison?

But when “Ordinary Flower” touches an “Anointed Hands”; it becomes something else!

Like I was telling my children in Europe not long ago – The Power of God turns “The Ordinary” to “Extraordinary”.

4. It will be interesting to you if you read John 9: 1-7 – When Jesus Christ saw a Man who was born Blind.

The Bible says that He (Jesus Christ) spat on the Ground, made some mud out of it and anoint his eyes.

“Ordinary Mud” can become “Anointed Mud” – It all depends on whose hands the mud is!

He (Jesus Christ) anointed where the eyes were supposed to be and brand new eyes were formed.

5. In Judges 15: 14-15; the Bible tells us that when they brought Samson to the Philistines. That as soon as the Philistines began to rejoice; the Fire of God came (They called it “The Spirit of God”).

But it says that the ropes that bound him were burnt as if they came in contact with Fire – There is a Fire that is Invincible.

And because that Fire came on him, he took the jawbone of an Ass – An Ordinary jawbone of an Ass, the jawbone of an animal that had died and it became a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

When you are Anointed, everything that you touch will become Anointed!

6. Mark 5: 25-34 – The Bible talks about Healing through the hem of the Garment of the Lord Jesus Christ.
7. Acts 5: 14-16 tells us that even the Shadow of Peter was Healing the Sick.
8. Acts 19: 11-12 says that even the Handkerchiefs from Paul was Healing the Sick.

You need a Brush with the Fire of God and you can get it today or as you are reading now on the Label of DMC!

Because if you get it (And it is available) because Matthew 3:11; the Promise is that Jesus Christ will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire.

If you get it; Oh things will Change!

And you need it! Why? – Because you can never can tell when the enemy may want to strike!

Judges 4: 5-6; Samson was going down to Mount Tabor. All of a sudden, a Lion roared at him and Fire came on him and you know the rest of the Story.

You need that touch with Fire, just in case the enemy decides to roar and you can tell the enemy that I am more than ready for you!

You need that Fire because as you are growing in the Lord; there is bound to be resistance from the enemies and you will need the Fire to uproot obstacles.

Acts 13: 6-12 – Paul was Preaching to a Governor and the Governor was listening. But a Sorcerer was distracting the attention of the Governor. Fire came and Paul uprooted the Obstacle.

I’m going to ask you to cry to God for a Brush of the Heavenly Fire today so that from now on, your work of the Ministry will become much more easier – Amen!

But then, before we begin to Pray that God’s Fire should fall because that will be our Prayer today. You need to know that if the Fire falls – If it falls on those who do not belong to Him, it consumes them. But if it falls on those who belongs to Him, it empowers them.

The Bible says so in Daniel 3: 19-30 – When they threw in Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego; their Yokes were destroyed by the Fire. They walked out of the Fire into Promotion.

But those of you who are not on the Side of the Lord, who got close to that Fire – They were consumed.

ALTAR CALL

So, before we ask Fire to fall – If you are not on the Side of God already; Please cross over. Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ so that He can baptise you with the Holy Ghost and Fire too.

If you are Standing by when the Fire begins to fall and you are not on the Side of the Lord; the result might not be very Pleasant.

So, I appeal to you – Please, surrender your Life to Jesus Christ now. Bow your Head wherever you are and cry unto Him and ask Him to Please save your Soul, wash you in His Blood, receive you into the Family of God so that when the Fire of God falls; it will empower you and not to consume you.

Pray now and I will be Praying with you in a moment.

Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God once again I’m thanking You for Your Words and I’m thanking You for all those who has decided to surrender their lives to You now.

Please my Father and my God, receive them today, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins and let them become Part and Parcel of Your Family Lord.

So that when the Fire begins to fall, it will be to Purify them, it will be an answer to their Prayers, destroying their Yokes, making them Vessels unto Honiur in Your Hands.

And Please my Father and my God, as they surrender their lives to You, don’t let them backslide.

As for those of us who are already Your Children; as we cry unto You today; just like Elisha had a Brush with the Fire that was on Elijah, I Pray that all my children who will be crying out to You today; You will let my (Daddy GO) Anointing flow to them and You will empower them Mightily so that very soon, I will be hearing their Testimonies of Great Exploits from them.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Holy One of Israel, the One who is as Pure as Light because He Himself is Light; we Worship You!

We Thank You for the Power in Your Word – Power to Heal, Power to Deliver, Power to Set Captives Free. We Worship You.

Our Father and our God, we believed that many of the People listening to You now or reading now on the Label of DMC; their Time has come. That even while they are not expecting it, Help is already on the way. Father, Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

As we continue with our Study Lord, God Almighty anoint our ears, anoint our hearts and let us understand so that we can “Go Higher”.

We will continue with our Series on: “Going Higher” as we now move on to Part 66 – “Going Higher – Part 66”.

We will be looking at: 1 Kings 19:19 – Which says:

19. So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was Plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah Passed by him, and cast his Mantle upon him.
20. We stopped Last Sunday (10th July 2022 – “Goihg Higher – Part 65) on the “Issue of Priority” – That God told Elijah specifically: Go and handle the Issue of the King of Syria; then go and handle the Issue of the King of Israel and then go and anoint your Successor.

But Elijah who was known to be “Absolutely Obedient” to God; Changed the Order and went to Elisha first – We are talking about the Issue of Priority.

I. We also told you that you must take your family first before you begin to consider any other things – In all your considerations, put your family first.

Elijah put the one who is going to be his “Adopted Son” first. He decided to put first the Prophet before the King – He decided that there must be a “Samuel” before we can talk of “King Saul”.

1 Samuel 3: 19-20 – Samuel was an established Prophet in Israel; King Saul only came on the scene in 1 Samuel 10: 1-end.

The Prophet is Superior to the King. Why? – The Spiritual controls the Physical. Put God first – In any other thing you want to do, let it be God first.

In 2 Chronicles 1: 6-15; when Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerimgs to God and God Paid him a visit and said: What do you want? You have an “Open Cheque”.

He said: Give me Wisdom so that I can look after Your People correctly.

Man of God/Woman of God; seek the Spiritual before we talk about the Physical!

As you are “Going Higher”; Please build the People before you begin to build Church’s Building!

The Elders has a Saying: They asked you to build your Child (That is Train your Child, send him to School) and you said that I’m building a house first. They said that it is the son that you did not train that will sell the house that you have built!

II. Build Disciples – Particularly as you are “Going Higher” because God is going to take you far – Amen!

Your Ministry is going to grow – When your Ministry begins to grow; you are going to need Disciples to help you sustained the Growth.

When your Congregation – I know that some of you will say: I have “No Congregation” yet; be rest assured that you are going to get (Amen).

Don’t think that I am spending so many Sundays on “Going Higher” for no reason at all. What I’m actually doing is that I’m building you up too to be my Disciples. And through me, to be Disciples of Jesus Christ because there is work ahead. And so we should go deeper.

Consider The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for Example – It doesn’t matter the Anointing that God may have put on me; how will I be able to handle the Explosion that God has brought to us if God has not Prepared Disciples?

And God is going to make us a thousand times bigger than we are – Amen. So, we are going to need much more Disciples through you.

Solomon said: Hey, give me what I needed to take care of Your People.

God said: Good, you answered well. I will give you that and what you have not asked for; I will give you.

III. Another aspect of Priority that you need to learn is: How do you even Pray?

Because some of you go to God in Prayer bombarding the Heavens with your Request – Is that what should be your Priority?

In John 4: 23-24; the Bible says that God is a Spirit, that they that Worship Him must Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth for the Father seeketh such to Worship Him.

It is now that we are calling the Gathering of the Children of God on Sunday as: “Sunday Service” – It wasn’t so in the beginning. It was “Sunday Worship” – As we gather to Worship God!

Do you know that it will be fully satisfactory to God if you go to Church and you do nothing other than to “Absolutely Worship” Him – He will surprise you!

Oh, I know that He Promised you that He will answer your Prayers et cetera et cetera; that is true. But Isaiah 55:6 says that: You must seek the Lord while He may be found; Call on Him while He is near!

And how do you know when He is near? – When you Worship Him, He will come near to you.

Then Jeremiah 33:3 can then kick in – Call on me; I will answer you, I will show you Great and Mighty Things that you know not.

How Good is your Praise Life Man of God/Woman of God? How much time do you spend in Worshipping Him?

When we are Praising God, Worshipping God; many of us “Mighty Man of God/Woman of God” will be looking at us as if what we are doing was just Playing and we have not even started yet!

You will see some Pastors strolling casually about when Praise and Worship is going on – They will say that they are just doing Praise and Worship and the Service hasn’t started yet!

By the time the Praise and Worship is over; the Service is almost over!

You need to go back to a Lifestyle of Praise and Worship!

I know a time on this Campground that we are going to have I think the Special Holy Ghost Service on a Friday and Saturday. And I was Prayimg on Friday – God, People are coming, Perform Signs and Wonders.

God said: Shut Up. What I have done for you; how much Thanks have you given? I want you to Praise me and Thank me – Nothing else. That is what I want.

Yes Lord! I Praised and Worshipped Him.

I remembered that night like yesterday – Fourteen thousand (14,000) People were healed in one Service. I don’t have time to Pray for Healimg as I just Worshipped Him.

After the Service, I went to my Office, fell on my face and I was thanking God and He spoke – Son, keep on Worshipping me and I will do more tomorrow.

At that time, the whole Congregation was just a little over fourteen thousand (14,000). How can You do more tomorrow? You have healed almost everybody.

But by the following day, all those who came the day before had gone to town to announce to their friends – Ha, something happened yesterday and you need to be there.

The following day, the crowd gathered like we have never seen it before – That day, when we called forward those who are healed; sixteenth thousand (16,000) People were healed.

When a Church grew from fourteen thousand (14,000) to thirty thousand (30,000) in one day; you can be sure that I was frightened.

If you must get more from Him – Praise Him and Worship Him. Keep that in Mind as you “Go Higher”.

2. And then that brings me to another Part – The Issue of Diligence!

The Bible says that when Elijah arrived, he met Elisha busy on the farm (1 Kings 19:19).

He had eleven (11) Labourers Ploughing and he joined them as the twelfth (12th) Man Ploughing.

How many of you that will have eleven (11) Employees and will still join them in working? You will say that you are the CEO/MD (Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director) and let the boys do the work!

… You must be a “Big Man” to have eleven (11) People on your Employment!

No, Elisha was Hard Working – He was Diligent!

It is written that God is Sovereign.

Psalms 115:3 says: But our God is in the Heavens: He hath done whatsoever He hath Pleased.

But God is not Arbitrary – Take Note of that.

Hebrews 11:6 says clearly: God is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

God lays a lot of emphasis on Diligence! Everything that you do for Him must be done diligently; every facets of your Life must be Permeated with Diligence!

Exodus 15:26; He says: When you are listening to me, you are not just to listen but you are to hearkened.

Hearken means – Listen with wrap attention!

And then you are not to just hearken; you are to “Hearken Diligently”. He said that then you can be sure that I will make sure that you don’t even fall sick because I will be your own Physician.

Deuteronomy 28: 1-3 – It’s a Passage many of us loved to read. It is loaded with Blessings. Oh, that was where He wrote that:

I. You will be running from Blessings and Blessings will be Pursuing you and overtaking you.

II. He said that the enemies will come before you in one (1) way and they will flee from you seven (7) ways.

III. That is where He said that you will never borrow but lend to Nations; you will be the Head and not the Tail; you will be Above Only and not beneath.

But read Verse 1 (Deuteronomy 28:1) – Read the condition for all the Blessings. He says that you will hearkened diligently to the Voice of the Lord your God, to observe to do all that He commands you; then the Blessings will begin to follow you and overtake you.

Proverbs 12:24, He said: It is the Diligent that will bear Rule.

The Hard Working Fellow is the one who will reach the Top and he is the one who will rule over the lazy ones!

Proverbs 22:29; He says: Seeth thou a Man diligent in his business; he will Stand before Kings and not before mean Men.

Oh, God is Love and God is interested in you. If you are the “Only One” in the world, He would still send His Son to die for you.

But let me tell you the Truth – If you are not Diligent, you will fail!

If you are not Diligent, those who are supposed to be Inferior to you will rule over you – That is what He meant when He says: The Diligent will bear Rule.

And I have said it to my children who are Students and I hope that they are listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC – He says that you can Pray, you can quote the Bible but if you are not Studying hard, you will fail!

And they say to me – What about the Scriptures that says: The Holy Spirit will remind us of all things?

… All things that you have Studied, all things that I have taught you.

Where is the Holy Spirit when I failed? What is His Duty?

I said the Holy Spirit? He will comfort you – Oh my son, you failed this Year? That is not the end of the Story. They just delayed your Promotion by one Year. Learn your Lesson, go back to being Diligent and you will begin to rise again!

The Bible says that the Slotful shall be under Tribute.

You are lazy; you are the one who will supply what the Diligent will use to enjoy!

You don’t believed me – Go to the Football field when there is a Match. See the crowd at the Stadium who Pay to enter and see how many People are going to share the money they Paid to enter.

… The Diligent shall bear Rule; the Slotful shall be under Tribute.

Where you are now – Could it be that you are Slotful?

God never called the Lazy – Because some of you will say:

I. How come he choose Elisha? – Because He saw a Diligent Young Man!

II. How come He choose Peter? – Luke 5: 1-11 documented that Peter fished All Night. Lazy People don’t fish All Night; Lazy Students don’t Study All Night.

III. When He choose Matthew – Read Matthew 9:9; Matthew was a Tribute Collector. He was a Custom Man and He (Jesus Christ) found him at his Point of Duty.

Don’t spoil the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ by being Lazy in your Place of work – God is not interested in Lazy People!

… You want to “Go Higher”; you must be Diligent!

IV. In 1 Thessalonians 5:17; It says: Pray without ceasing.

… It takes Diligence to Pray!

V. In Matthew 7: 7-8; He said: Ask, Seek and Knock.

… You ask and keep on asking; you seek and you keep on seeking and when you finally find the door, knock and keep on knocking.

VI. Luke 18: 1-5; Jesus Christ Himself told us a Story of a Woman who needed Help and went to a Judge – The one who can help her. Help me!

The Judges said that I don’t Fear God, I don’t Fear any Man; I’m not going to bother myself about you. The woman said that we will see.

The woman kept on troubling Him until the Man said: Even though I don’t Fear God, I don’t Fear Man; if I don’t do something about the case of this woman, she won’t let me rest.

… Keep knocking until the door is opened!

You have something that you have been asking God for? Keep knocking! Don’t give Him rest until the answer comes! And the answer will come if you knock hard and long enough!

I will remind you of the Story of a Woman who came from the North.

We have just finished our Annual Convention (I don’t know why she came late). I was very tired, I got home, gathered my family together; Prayed a Short Prayer – Father, Thank You for what You have done. See you tomorrow and then I went to bed.

You want to know how tired I am? I only removed my shoes and I hit the bed.

Almost as soon as I came in; a woman came from the North – Ask my children: Is daddy in? They said Yes but he said that he is not seeing anybody as he was tired.

She sat down at the front of the door saying I am not going anywhere until he comes out. They gave her food, she ate it and sat down there.

I was drifted out of sleep when my wife came and knocked at the door – Honey, I told you that I’m tired. She said that there is a woman by the door who said that she is not moving. You better add her to your tiredness.

I had to get up and asked for her Problems – She said something was wrong with her head and said that if you touch the head I will be okay.

She got what she wanted because she refused to let go.

In Prayer, you must be Diligent!

So after the Service today, don’t just go back and begin to drink tea. Pray without ceasing and I will hear your Testimony soon – Amen!

But those of you who will say: Lord, I am not a Child of God but you say that I should Pray!

He is not going to open the door if you have not opened the door of your own heart to Him.

Revelation 3:20; He said: Behold I Stand by the door and I knock. If any Man hears my Voice qnd open the door. He said that I will come in.

And you are saying: No, I don’t want Jesus Christ to come into my Life; I just want the Miracles He can give. You will be wasting your Time.

So, I appealled to you – Open the door of your heart to Him now and let Him come in.

And if you want to do so; just bow your head wherever you are and cry to Him – Lord, come into my Life, come and take control and I will serve you for the rest of my Life.

Pray that Simple Prayer – And I will Pray with you now and very soon you will see the difference that Jesus Christ can bring.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name. I want to give You all Glory and Honour for Your Words and I want to Thank You because I know that You are going to answer Prayers here today.

And all these People who has decided to give You their lives – Receive them, forgive their sins, save their Souls, Please receive them into the Family of God. From now on, when they cry to You; Please answer them by Fire and don’t let them ever backslide again.

As for all those who are already Your Children, who have been knocking and Knocking; Please Lord at the next knock, Please open the door to them.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

I rejoice with those of you who have just given your Life to Jesus Christ. I just want to assure you all that from now on; I will be Praying for you.

OPENING PRAYER

Father Almighty, You are Good; King of Kings, Lord of Lords, You are Good; Saviour of Mankind, You are Good; The One with the Healing Stripes, You are Good; our Deliverer, our Provider, our Promoter, the Lifter Up of our Heads, our Defense, our Support, our Joy, our Strength, You are Good. Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Today in a very Miraculous Way, visit all Your Children, touch each and everyone of us, Command Your Blessings into our lives and let it be all be well with us and then take all the Glory Lord.

We are continuing with our Series on: “GOING HIGHER” and we are now in Part 65 – “GOING HIGHER – PART 65”.

And we are moving on to 1 Kings 19:19. But Probably to be able to have a full grasp of all the Points that are in this Verse 19; maybe we will need to read again from Verses 15 to 17 – 1 Kings 19: 15-17 and 19.

1 Kings 19: 15-17 and 19

15. And the LORD said unto him (That is Elijah), Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be King over Syria:
16. And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be King over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be Prophet in thy room.
17. And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.
18. So he (That is Elijah) departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was Plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah Passed by him, and cast his Mantle upon him.

The First Thing that we want to Note here in Verse 19 as we go Higher in the Lord is something we want to call: “THE ISSUE OF TIME”.

God has a Timetable for everything.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8; the Bible says that as far as God is concerned, there is a time for everything – A time to be born, a time to die, a time to sow, a time to weep, a time to sing, a time to refrained from singing, a time to embrace, a time to refrained from embracing and so on and so forth.

… Everything has a time!

For Example, in Romans 9: 14-16; the Bible tells us that God says that He will have Mercy on whom He will have Mercy and Compassion on who He will have Compassion.

But then Psalms 102:13 tells us that even in Him having Mercy, His having Compassion; it is Time-Bound!

Because Psalms 102:13 says: Thou will arise and have Mercy on Zion. Why? – Because the time to Favour her; yea the Set Time has come.

I believed very deeply that the Time for Someone has come – Amen!

So, how do I know that my Time has come?

You see because in the Passage that we read here; Elisha woke up in the morning, he wasn’t expecting anything other than to do his business as a farmer. But some Meetings has been held behind his back and that Meeting is about to disrupt his entire Plans.

How do I know when my Time has come?

When your Time comes, two (2) Major things happen!

… And as you are going up Spiritually, take Note of these very, very important things!

1. Certain Things will happen absolutely beyond your Control that will affect you Profoundly. Certain Things will happen to “Certain People” that are connected to you in any way whatsoever but will spill over into your Life!

For Example:

I. In Genesis 41: 1-44; Joseph had known long ago that he was going to be a Great Man – That People will be coming to bow down to him (Brothers and even father and mother).

But when his (Joseph) Time came, it was a King that has two (2) Set of Dreams.

Joseph was having a nice sleep – The kind of sleep you can have as a Prisoner; Particularly if you are the one In-Charge of the Prison. And Somebody was dreaming – Two (2) frightening Dreams.

By the time the Dreamer woke up from his Dreams, things started happening in the Life of Joseph.

The Man who has been forgotten, even by the Fellow that he had helped was suddenly remembered. Why? – Because his Time has come.

By the end of the Day, the Prisoner has become the Second in Command to the King – Knees began to bow to him.

The Man who was in Prison was now riding in the Second to the Best Chariot in the whole of Egypt. Why? – His Time had come!

II. When your Time of Promotion comes as we find in Daniel 2: 1-end; the one that is going to be used to bring about your Promotion will have a Dream and forget the Dream.

The King had a Dream and forgot the Dream. He called all the Wise Men together – Come and interpret my Dream. They said that we can’t interpret your Dream unless you tell us. He said: No, I have forgotten the Dream.

Why? – Because there is one Person, just one Man called Daniel – A Prisoner, a Slave; he was going to be Promoted before the Day was over.

It wasn’t Daniel that dreamt; it was the King that dreamt and forget the Dream.

When your Day comes, something will happen beyond your Control to Someone who will be a Vessel in the Hand of God to bring you to where you are going!

III. In 1 Samuel 9: 1-27; when the time for Promotion come for Saul, his father lost some animals.

It wasn’t the fault of Saul, he didn’t know how the animals got lost and incidentally, when Saul was about looking for the “Lost Animal”, the animal was found.

But in the meantime in searching for the “Lost Animal”, he came in contact with Samuel – The Man who is going to anoint him to be King (1 Samuel 10:1).

IV. Consider David in 1 Samuel 15: 1-29.

David was doing his own job, minding his business. He had nothing to do with Somebody called King Saul, he didnt know that King Saul had disobeyed God and that therefore God had told King Saul that his Kingdom was over – I have taken the Kingdom from you, I am handing it over to Someone else.

David did not know and he has nothing to do with it.

By the time you now moved on to 1 Samuel 16: 1-13; God spoke to Samuel – Now fill your horn with Oil, I’m sending you to the house of Jesse, a New King is about to be anointed.

When your Day comes, the One the Almighty God is going to use to bring about your Promotion, to take you to Heights that you are not even dreaming about, will do something that will lead you into the fulfillment of the Purpose of God for your Life!

I don’t know who God is talking to today or as you are reading now on the Label of DMC; but the one that will Help you, will not even be able to do anything until they come to you to Help you – Amen!

2. The Second Thing that will happen when your Time comes is that wherever you may be; when your Day comes, the Favour of God will locate you Particularly if you are in God’s Plan!

For Example:

I. Consider Isaac – In Genesis 26: 1-14.

Isaac wasn’t at home, he waa in another Nation and there was famine in the Nation not caused by Isaac. And Isaac wanted to run away and God looated him and say: I brought you here to Prosper you.

Isaac, you might have forgotten, but in Genesis 22: 15-18; I Promised, I swore that I will bless your father but I will Multiply you. Your Multiplication is about to begin.

God located him there and say: Don’t go anywhere, this is your Land of Multiplication.

By the time God finished with him – You knew the rest of the Story. You can read the Chapter all the way.

Even the King of the Country came to him and say: Please, go away from us. You have become Mightier than us.

… One Man became a threat to a Nation!

II. Consider Jacob.

Jacob was running away from his brother – Esau, because he has just claimed the First Born’s Blessings.

And then in Genesis 28: 10-16, because God’s Plan included Jacob; he was sleeping in the bush, using a Rock for his Pillow. He wasn’t in the Synagogue, he wasn’t anywhere you could considered where you could have an Encounter with God but God located him and he had a Dream – You know the Story.

God visited him and says: I am the God of your father Abraham; every Promises that I made to your grandfather Abraham, I will fulfill in you.

… The Favour of God located him there!

When he woke up from his Dream, he said: Ha, God is here and I didn’t know it. God is everywhere!

In the same case of Jacob, when you read Genesis 32: 24-28; the Bible tells us that when Jacob was returning home after several Years in “Self Exile” and his brother (Esau) was coming with four hundred (400) Men to come and deal with him. When he was alone, God came again. The Favour of God located him again and a Man became a Nation. God Changed his name from Jacob to Israel.

When your Day comes, it doesn’t matter where you are; the Favour of God will locate you – Amen!

III. In Exidus 3: 1-5; Moses was at the backside of a Desert – Not just the Desert but at the very backside of a Desert. But God has a Purpose for Moses and God located him there. He wasn’t even Praying, he wasn’t listening to a Sermon or reading now on the Label of DMC like you are doing now but his Day came and God located him.

From time to time, you have heard me say: As God speaks, there is Someone here and before the Day is out, that Someone will know: Ha, Glory be to God, my Time has come at Last.

I am Praying for Someone listening to me now or reading now on the Label of DMC; your Time will come now – Amen!

I have never forgotten the Story of one of my Pastors – He was married for twenty six (26) Years if I can remember correctly – Barren, there was no where else to go as he is already in the Lord and already a Pastor in the Church.

And then during the Holy Ghost Service, the Word of God came and say: There is Someone here, your Waiting is Over!

Because God has Promised that I will make you Fruitful but years after years, nothing came.

He jumped for Joy and where the wife was, she too jumped up.

After twenty six (26) years, their Time came and it wasn’t long after that we began to hear their Testimony.

Not only have they gotten a Child but they have even gotten a Second.

But there is something else that I need to talk very quickly because this Particular Passage is loaded! – And that is what you will call “The Issue of Priority”.

Because 1 Kings 19: 15-17 that I read earlier so that we can understand Verse 19 (1 Kings 19:19) – God told Elijah what He wanted him to do:

1. Go and anoint Hazael, King over Syria – That is Assignment No 1.
2. Anoint Jehu, King over Israel – That is Assignment No 2.
3. Then anoint Elisha as a Prophet in your Room – That is Assignment No 3.

And if you know anything about Elijah, he is “The Original Yes-Man” – When God speaks, he obeys!

But here in 1 Kings 19:19; we find Elijah going straight to Elisha – Hazael, you can wait; Jehu sit down I’m coming. First let me deal with my Successor!

So, this is telling you that your son, your Legacy is very, very crucial! – We are talking of the “Issue of Priority”. Charity must begin at home!

Are you a Child of God? Are you already Going Higher? And are you leaving your children behind? Your Child/Family is your “Priority No 1.

God Himself said that anyone who is going to be a Pastor, a Minister of God; must first of all qualify from home! – He must have his home in order!

Kings are for the Nation; your children are for you!

Don’t forget that when Absalom died who had dethroned his father et cetera et cetera. When Absalom died and the whole Nation was rejoicing that the Rebellion is over.

What was David doing? – He was weeping: Absalom son. Because the Nation is for everybody but your family is your own.

Beginning from this moment, Pay any Price that will bring your children into the Kingdom of God because they represent your tomorrow!

As for you who are not yet Born Again, your Priority according to Matthew 6:33 is to seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness; every other things then will be added.

In other words, if you are seeking Position or anything else, and you have not yet sought the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness; you are wasting your Time.

So, I’m appealling with you today to come over to the Side of God today – Surrender your Life to Him, make Him your “Life Priority” and then your Future will be alright.

So, if you want to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ, you want to start to seek the Kingdom of God now, could you bow your head where you are now and I will Pray with you and the Almighty God will bring Salvation to you. And then you can join the Family of God and then you become a Child of the Living God.

Because He said: To as many that will believe in Him, to them He gave the Power to become the Child of God.

Until you become His Child, you are nothing at all.

So, if you will bow your head now and cry to Him; and say: Please, save my Soul, move me into the Family of God, Forgive all my sins and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

I will join you in Prayer and your Time will come today for Salvation.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, The Saviour of Mankind. Thank You for Your Words.

Thank You especially for those who are saying: Ha, Lord I want to begin to seek You and Your Kingdom now.

Please accept them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, receive them into the Family of God.

From now on, Please treat them as Children so that when they cry to You for anything, You will answer them by Fire.

As for those of us who are already Your Children, I Pray that You will give us the Grace to do everything necessary to bring every Members of our family to You.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Now, those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ, I rejoice with you. Please, contact me as quickly as Possible and I Promise you that I will be Praying for you.

And then look for any Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) near you – Tell the Pastor there that I sent you. He will arrange for your Baptism and then you will begin to learn more about God.
