OPENING PRAYER

Father Almighty God we want to Bless Your Holy Name. We want to Thank You from the bottom of our hearts that You are the Saviour, the All Sufficient One; the One who can save to the uttermost.

We Bless Your Holy Name for the millions of people who have come to You for Salvation, and You have not disappointed us.

We Thank You because You have enough POWER even to save the whole world!

And we Thank You because we are sure that during this Convention You are going to save MILLIONS of souls!

… So Father, accept our Worship in Jesus’ Name.

As Your Word is going forth, we pray that the Power in Your Blood will begin to work mightily in the lives of all those who will hear us in Jesus’ Name.

Please, my Father and my God, save souls today like never before.

During this Convention, bring several souls into Your kingdom!

Thank You Almighty God; in Jesus’ Mighty Name we have prayed – AMEN!

Let someone shout Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH!

Once again we are welcoming you all to our Convention; a truly WORLD CONVENTION.

Because, by the Grace of God, the lockdown has opened up a New Way of reaching the whole world.

So that many people who would not have been able to attend the Convention, you can sit down comfortably in your homes and be blessed.

So you are very WELCOME! And I pray that all the desires of your hearts would be granted you during this Convention, in Jesus’ Name – Amen!

The THEME of this Convention (as you know very well) is WONDERFUL.

And we are starting our ministrations on: THE WONDERS OF SALVATION.

Our Text would be 2 CORINTHIANS 5: 17;

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a New Creature: Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become New.”

… ALL THINGS are become NEW.”

In the past, when I have the opportunity of talking to you on SALVATION, we have been limited by time.

And so I have always said: Oh well, when you are Born Again, you get a New Name, you get a New Accommodation, and you are under a New Management.

I have always emphasized these three (3) – But now we have more time. We are not in a hurry. We are here for the Convention and we are happily settled down in our homes and I can take as much time as I like!

And so we are going to do a thorough Bible Study on THE WONDERS OF SALVATION.

Because, there is a lot in Salvation much more than: Rescuing you from Hell and making you a Candidate of Heaven.

There is a lot! And I will cover as many of the things that are WONDERS OF SALVATION as possible – it is not possible to finish it all.

You see, the position of the one who is unsafe is critically bad.

I mean for example, Psalms 7:11 says: God is ANGRY with the sinner everyday; angry with the wicked everyday.

Can you imagine living inside the constant ANGER of God? That is a terrible situation to be in!

Oh, if you read Ephesians 2:12, the Bible describes those who are not Born Again as: “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:”

That is Terrible! – I’m sure you don’t want to be in that kind of situation for a day longer.

Whereas in the same Ephesians 2:13, the Bible says: If you are in Christ: you are brought NEAR to the Almighty God, no longer STRANGERS, no longer HOPELESS, no longer living under the constant ANGER of God.

“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. If you are in Christ, you are brought near to the Almighty God.”

So God helping me (and I hope you will pray that He will help me);

I want to spend quality time with you today, discussing THE WONDERS OF SALVATION.

Let me go through the ones I have already talked to you about;

1. When you are Born Again, YOU GET A NEW NAME.

According to John 1:11-12; “He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

That means when you are Born Again, you can now call yourself “A SON OF GOD”.

… So I am A CHILD OF GOD.

And the interesting thing is: When you are truly Born Again, even people around – Your friends, people who might not even like the idea of your Born Again; begin to talk to you about SIN, and they begin to say: “But you say you are a CHILD OF GOD.”

That means they recognise your NEW NAME.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT? – A Change of Name can seriously affect your Future.

A New Name can mean some tremendous transformations come your way.

Otherwise you won’t find God changing the names of people from Abram to Abraham; Sarai to Sarah.

That is, if Names don’t matter.

But you could get a very classical example if you spend time to read Read Genesis 32 and 33. Read the whole Chapters – it’s Wonderful.

For example, if you would consider Genesis 32, Jacob was coming back from where he had gone to hide from his brother; who had sworn that the day he would see him (after their father’s death) he was going to die!

So, he (Jacob) sent messengers to go and tell his brother (Esau) he was coming and the Messengers returned to say: Oh, your brother is coming to welcome you: and he is coming with Four Hundred (400) men.

So Jacob knew what that means is that: Well, it looks as if the end has come!

But then, that night, he PRAYED! An Angel came and wrestled with him. And the Angel say: ‘Let me go!

Jacob said: ‘I’m not letting you go until you bless me.

And the Blessings he received was a CHANGE OF NAME – His name was changed from Jacob to ISRAEL.

In Genesis 33, by the following morning; when he met his brother who was coming to kill him:

The brother wept, gave him a hug – An enemy became a FRIEND!

The fellow who would have died, survived; because of a CHANGE OF NAME.

I have told you stories about that before; I won’t waste time telling you stories now.

2. When you become Born Again, YOU GET A NEW ACCOMMODATION.

Colossian 1:12-13 says: “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:”

You no longer live in the kingdom of Satan – which is the kingdom of darkness – You now begin to live in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Who definitely is the Light of the World.

As a matter of fact, according to Matthew 5:14-16; not only do you now begin to live in Light, you will continue to SHINE!

3. YOU COME UNDER A NEW MANAGEMENT.

Because according to Matthew Chapter 11:28-30, Jesus Christ said: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

… You will now come under a New Management.

It is a dangerous thing to be under the Management of Satan. And that’s where you have been till you become Born Again.

Because the problem with being under the Management of Satan is that: He will abandoned you at a critical moment – He will use you and abandoned you.

A very Good example is the Story you find in 1 Samuel 17:38-51 – Satan used Goliath for forty (40) days to terrorise Israel.

The moment the Anointed of God appeared on the scene, Satan abandoned Goliath, and a small boy (David) knocked Goliath down, and cut off his head.

If you are serving the devil, he will pay you with disappointment, he will pay you with evil and sorrow.

My father in the Lord used to say: “It is what a Master has that he will give to a servant.”

You are serving Satan, he will supply you with plenty of sorrows, plenty of headache, plenty of problems.

But when you are SAVED, you become a Disciple of the Lord – You will come under His Management; and He will give you everything that He has.

4. When you are truly Born Again, the Bible says: YOU ARE NOW A NEW CREATURE

… Some Translations say you are now a New CREATION.

WHAT DOES THAT REALLY MEAN?

It means you get a BRAND NEW NATURE.

You are changed as it were from an ANIMAL to a SON.

Because if you read Matthew 15:21-28; a woman came to Jesus Christ, asking for help. Jesus Christ said: “I can’t give the bread of children to dogs.”

In other words, according to the Word of God, there are two (2) categories of people – Children and Dogs.

Until you become a Child of God, you have the Nature of an animal.

Oh, the Bible says in Galatians 5:19-24; it begins to explain the things that happens when you are under this Naturehood of an animal: Adultery, Fornication (you can read the rest)!

You say: How can you say that Adultery is Animal Nature?

Have you ever seen digs being ashamed when they are meeting in the Public? – It is their Nature!

And don’t you see people who go about naked; who do horrible things, and they rejoice in it?

… It is not their fault; it is their NATURE.

The reason a sinner is called a Sinner is because, it is his Nature to SIN.

I mean, you will see people who get drunk – because that is part of the things He mentioned as the nature of an Animal; and they seemed to be rejoicing in it.

One fellow was talking – He was drunk on the day of his Marriage Introduction. Everybody was waiting, he was drunk, and they couldn’t find him!

When he was reporting the incident, he say I was so drunk they were looking for me, they couldn’t find me. He was rejoicing that he was drunk!

That’s a Nature of Animal: Hatred, envy, all manners of Idolatry.

But when you become a Child of God, you have the Nature of God – You are a New Creature, your Nature changes!

5. You suddenly find YOURSELF IN A NEW FAMILY – The Family of God.

John 1:11-12 (again) says: But as many as received him, to them gave He Power TO BECOME a Child of God.

You are adopted into the Family of God.

And according to Romans 8:16-17, the Bible says: You become the HEIR of God.

You are now an INHERITOR of whatever God has: Joint Heirs with Christ.

Whatever Christ can lay claims to to; when you are truly Born Again – You too can lay claims to it!

As a matter of fact, the Bible says: Jesus merely becomes the Firstborn of many Brethren.

You can say: Jesus Christ is my Elder Brother.

6. When you are truly Born Again, You have NEW HOPE.

You see, everybody has Hope! – One kind of Hope or the other.

Before you are Born Again, you have Hope of what you call ‘The Raining Day’”.

You are hoping that sooner of later, trouble will come; witches will attack, enemies will operate.

That is why you go to the Herbalist – to armed yourself (laughs!)

… Because you are expecting that sooner or later, trouble will come.

And the interesting thing is: As you HOPED for them, they do come!*

In Job 3:25, Job said: The things I feared most had happened unto me.

Whereas, when you are truly Born Again, you have a different kind of HOPE now.

Colossians 1:27; says: “Christ in you, the HOPE of Glory.”

When you are in Christ you can only say: Oh, my tomorrow will be alright!

… ALL will be WELL.

… That is Number 6, alright!

7. SUDDENLY, YOU HAVE NEW INFLUENCE.

HOW? – Because the moment you come into the Family of God, you become connected to the One called “The MOST HIGH”.

You know, in Isaiah 66:1, the Almighty God said: “Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?”

Your Father is so HIGHLY LIFTED UP, that you can boast to anyone and say: Ha, don’t you know I am a CHILD of God?

I mean, somebody can come and say to you: ‘Are you not aware that I am the son of the President?’

And immediately, there is a Change in Attitude.

I was visiting one of the Nations in Africa, where United Nations have a very Big Establishment and one of my sons was working with them.

And he said Daddy, I’m sure you would like to see our Establishment here – I said, why not!

Then we got to the gate, and he went to meet the fellow in charged of the gate – My parents are in the car and they want to see the Establishment.

The man at the gate told him: You should know, nobody is allowed in, except he works here!

They spent quite a lot of time arguing. Then finally the man at the gate said: Who is this your father that you are so serous about him seeing our Establishment?

And he said, he is Pastor Adeboye!

And he said, why didn’t you say that before?

And the man who said he won’t open the gate said: I will take you round.

When YOU HAVE GOD AS YOUR FATHER; you can talk to people and say: Don’t you know who I am? Don’t you know I am a Child of God?

… New INFLUENCE!

Ephesians 2:1-7 tells us that your Elder Brother (the Lord Jesus Christ) is seated in the Heavenly Place.

And He is seated, according to Ephesians 1:18-23: *Far above Principalities.

… And you are seated with Him.

So, ALL forces of darkness are under your feet the moment you become a CHILD OF GOD.

We used to sing a song when I was a Younger Christian:

I TRAMPLE ON DEATH,
I TRAMPLE ON SATAN;
EVERYONE WHO IS BORN AGAIN SHOUT HALLELUJAH!

… That was the Song!

And you know we sing the Song; and witches and wizards would look at us and say: It is not your fault, it is the One who is inside you that is talking.

Because they recognized, you have Influence now.

8. When you are truly Born Again, YOU HAVE NEW ABILITIES.

Philippians 4:13 makes it clear that you don’t even need to ever FAIL again.

It says: “I can do ALL THINGS through CHRIST which Strengtheneth me.”

You don’t need to EVER FAIL AGAIN!

In Luke 5:1-11, Peter fished all night, caught nothing!

Then he became Associated with Jesus Christ; and he caught fish so much, that two (20) Boats were full to overflowing.

Then in John 21:1-19, when he tried to move away from Christ (to go back to the old ways of fishing); he fished all night again, and caught nothing until Jesus Christ came!

9. New AGILITIES! And one (1) of the Abilities is: THE ABILITY TO HEAR THE INAUDIBLE.

Jesus Christ said in John 10:27. He says: My sheep hear My voice.

Suddenly, God begins to talk to you QUIETLY: ‘My son, you can do that! My daughter, you can do that!’

In Revelation 2:7 He says: “He who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church.”

It is not everybody who can hear God.

But if you are one (1) of His children, and you are truly Born Again – YOU WILL BE HEARING His Voice QUIETLY.

As He is Guiding you, Directing you; and at times Warning you – don’t do this, don’t do that, don’t go this way – That is the way to GO!

10. If you are truly Born Again, YOU HAVE NEW JOY.

In Psalms 51:11-12, the Bible talks about – The JOY of Salvation.

You know it yourself – Those of you who have been Born Again; you know the JOY that you had, when you got Born Again.

… Joy that you can’t explain; that will just be bubbling up within you.

Philippians 4:4 says: “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, REJOICE.”

Your Joy is no longer in a New Car, because once you drive the car out of the Show Room, it becomes Second (2nd) Hand.

It is not in a New House, because you know a house can be built today and burnt down tomorrow.

But your Joy is the Joy in the Lord!

I mean, I have told you the story before; in those days when I used to visit University of Ibadan (UI, in Ibadan Oyo State) every Month.

We went to University of Ibadan, a Professor got Born Again (he was one of those who got Born Again that Month).

When I returned again the following Month, he said Sir, I have a question.

And when a Professor says he has a Question, you better sit right (and begin to fasten your seat belt).

So, I thought he was going to ask me some very serious Theological Question.

He said Sir, I hope it is not dangerous to be happy all the time?

He said, because since last Month, I have just been bubbling with Joy.

I said, that is what God wants for you! It is Satan who gives sorrow and the Joy of Salvation comes from Him (God).

… Which leads us to the next point;

11. When you are truly Born Again, YOU SUDDENLY DEVELOP NEW STRENGTH. WHY? – Nehemiah 8:10 says ” The Joy of the Lord IS your Strength.

Because now, you wake up Rejoicing; you go to work Rejoicing; you return Rejoicing.

You just suddenly discovered that hey, I’m Stronger than I used to be.

Isaiah 40:31 says: “They that wait upon the Lord shall RENEW their Strength.”

You suddenly discovered, that your Strength is being renewed day by day!

12. When you are truly Born Again (whether you believe it or not): YOU WILL BEGIN TO WEAR A DIFFERENT KIND OF DRESS.

WHY? – Because the Almighty God will give you now, what the Bible calls “THE GARMENT OF PRAISE.”

I’m not talking about the dress you buy in the Market; I’m talking about “THE GARMENT OF PRAISE.”

You will just find yourself (most of the time) everywhere you go, SINGING, PRAISING God.

… THE GARMENT OF PRAISE!

13. Do you know that when you are truly Born Again, YOU WILL BECOME MORE BEAUTIFUL?

Oh, you may not realize it, but it is true – You will become more Beautiful.

Nobody is ugly, if the fellow is SMILING!

No matter how ugly the fellow may be, the moment they SMILE, they begin to radiate BEAUTY.

There is nobody who is Ugly, when the fellow is Rejoicing and you have Joy inside you, bubbling – You have Joy that is not based on anything around you.

… Joy like a River!

And you know what?

Psalms 149:4 says: “God will BEAUTIFY the Meek with Salvation.”

Salvation is a BEAUTY: when God wants to beautify you, He gives you SALVATION.

14. SUDDENLY, YOU WILL BEGIN TO HAVE A NEW VISION.

… New AMBITION, New PLANS for the Future!

Suddenly, you begin to look at Spiritual things as more important than Material things.

Colossians 3:1-4 tells us that: If you are truly dead with Christ; now you will begin to look at things above (where Christ is now)!

You will now begin to always think of things Spiritual as far, far more important than things Material.

My wife and I went to visit one of the Converts, several years ago and we entered into their house:

… And I am telling you: that was a house!

It was a New House, they were about to move in.

And the Sister wanted us to pray over it – before they would move in.

And so, she took us round the house: I’m telling you – That house was Beautiful.

I mean, when we got to the bathroom, almost everything there was Gold – Beautiful!

But as we were stepping out of the place, my wife said to me: HEAVEN is far more BEAUTIFUL.

… I say: Glory be to GOD!

And do you know what happened?

The husband never slept in that house before he died!

Once you become Born Again; you begin to think of Heavenly Things – Things that are Permanent; things that will not Fade, things that Money cannot buy – NEW VISIONS!

15. Do you know as soon as you are truly Born Again, YOU BECOME QUALIFIED FOR DIVINE HEALING.

Because if you read 1 Peter 2:24, the Bible tells us that it is because Jesus has taken your sins to the Cross; that is why you can now say: By His Stripes I was healed.

Salvation belongs to the “True children of God” – People whose sins have been washed away.

Take for example, Mark 2:1-12 – Four (4) people brought in a young man – You know the story!

They couldn’t get in because of the crowd. So, they broke through the roof and lowered the young man at the feet of Jesus.

Everybody could see that this fellow was sick; he was helplessly sick!

The first (1st) thing Jesus said to that young man is: Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.

I must take your sins out of the way, before you Qualify for Healing.

And when people began to argue about whether Jesus had the Power or not, to forgive sins. He now said: Son, now that your sins are forgiven, you can now stand up – take your bed and go home.

In the case of the fellow that Jesus healed in John 5:2-14; the man who has been by the Pool of Bethesda for thirty eight (38) years.

When He (Jesus) healed him, and the man ran into the Temple and was Praising God there!

When Jesus met him in the Temple, what was it He told him?

Hey! You have been made whole: GO AND SIN NO MORE!

I’m not saying that every sickness is brought about by SIN: But when there was no SIN, there was no Sickness.

It was only when SIN came in the Garden of Eden, DEATH came! – And SICKNESS is a Forerunner (Servant) of DEATH.

Whether you believe it or not: If I feel a headache, I ask myself – WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?

Because the Almighty God says in Exodus 15:26: If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I WILL PUT NO SICKNESS ON YOU.

… That is His Promise – and He is NOT a Liar.

So, if I fall sick, I ask myself: What is wrong?

What am I doing wrong? Am I eating wrong? Am I overworking? Am I in an atmosphere that is not Conducive for me go be in?

There must be a REASON!

But when you are truly Born Again; even when Doctors say; There is nothing more we can do: You still Qualify for Healing.

I mean, you remembered the Story in Mark 5:25-34.

The Bible talks about the woman with the Issue of Blood.

She has spent ALL she had for all manner of Physicians; and instead of getting better, she grew Worse but Jesus HEALED her!

So I’m believing God for ALL OF YOU Children of the Living God: That before this Convention is over, you will begin to enjoy Divine Health.

16 . If you are truly Born Again, YOU WILL BEGIN TO ENJOY HIS PEACE.

In John 14:27, Jesus Christ said: “Peace I leave with you, MY PEACE I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.”

You know, when somebody has a shocking experience; and the Doctors look at the situation and say: The way things are going, we need to do something.

They sedate the fellow – They give him an injection that will make him compulsorily fall asleep.

But Jesus gives Peace, not like the world would give Peace: You have PEACE in a STORM!

Storm could be raging around you, you would just be enjoying yourself.

Because the Bible says: The Peace that God gives cannot be understood.

Philippians 4:7 says: “And the Peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

It can be made available to you if you are truly Born Again.

Maybe I will give you just one (1) more; I can’t finish it all. There are several other things.

Maybe as we go along in the Convention, they will come in one way or the other.

17. YOU WILL BEGIN TO ENJOY HIS FRIENDSHIP.

… And I like that!

You see, it is a dangerous thing to be lonely – It is a very, very terrible thing to be lonely.

That is why I always tell my friends: If you are going to start a conversation with someone who is living alone; Make sure you you have plenty of time!

Because if they grab you; all the talks they would have talked (if they had people they can talk to) they would want to offload it on you that single moment because they don’t know when next!

It is a terrible thing to be LONELY.

And we we are talking about loneliness, we are not talking about ‘I’m Single, I’m not yet Married – No, No, No!

That is not the loneliness we are talking about.

A man could be married and lonely! – There could be two (2) Strangers living in the same house. Two (2) Strangers and they don’t talk one to the other!

And a man can be Highly Placed and be lonely.

As a matter of fact, the higher they are, the more lonelier they are!

I have told you the Story before, when I went to one Nation to go and hold Holy Ghost Service.

And I had an appointment with the President and they told me, maximum Fifteen (15) minutes.

… I said, that is enough; the Crusade is about to start!

After two (2) hours – And you don’t interrupt a President when he is talking to you.

I had to say: Your Excellency, the Crusade has started, your children are waiting.

He said – LET THEM WAIT!

He said: They have people they can talk to; I don’t have.

I have heard about you, and I don’t know when next I will see you – So let us talk!

You can be President and be very lonely because when you are in a High Position, you don’t even know who is a friend.

Everybody is looking for what they can get. And when the trouble comes, it’s on you alone.

But Jesus Christ Promises you FRIENDSHIP.

In John 15:14-15. He said: I’m not calling you Servants, I call you FRIENDS.

The Servants do not know what the Master is doing – You are my Friends.

And it is a kind of FRIENDSHIP that will not fail you.

You know, there are many people Pretending to be your friends – Particularly when you are rich.

Oh, when there is something they can get from you, they Pretend to be your friend! When trouble comes, they disappeared!

But in Hebrews 13:15, Jesus Christ said I will NEVER leave you; I will NEVER FORSAKE YOU.

Let me conclude; so that I don’t take too much of your time.

To be Saved, there are certain things that you need to know:

1. You must realise that you are in SERIOUS TROUBLE if you are not Saved.

I told you earlier on, that God is ANGRY with the wicked EVERYDAY.

Now, that is enough to frighten anybody!

And remember, I told you the Story about a man who came to me: Sir, we heard that you are a Prophet.

I said No, I’m a Pastor.

Oh, I hear that whatever you say, come to Pass.

I said, God has been Faithful.

He said, can you tell about my future?

I said, that’s simple. You just answer a question – Are you Born Again? Are you a Child of God? Are you Saved?

He said NO!

I said, your future will be terrible.

He said how do you know? You have not even prayed, you don’t know my name.

I said it is written; Isaiah 3:11 ” Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ILL WITH HIM: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

… And the Word of God is FOREVER SETTLED.

He said okay: Supposed I said I am Born Again, I am a Child of God? I said, I would have told you that your future shall be alright.

The same Isaiah 3:10; “Say ye to the righteous, that IT SHALL BE WELL WITH HIM: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.”

… It shall be WELL WITH YOU!

If you are not Born Again, you are living in trouble

2. Then you need to realised: You CAN’T CHANGE YOURSELF without Help.

It is not Possible for you to Change your harmful habits.

How many years have you been having – NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS?

This New Year, I’m not going to Drink; This New Year I will stop Smoking; This New Year I will stop Fornicating.

And then within one (1) week, you have done what you said you won’t do again.

The Bible says in Jeremiah 13:23, it says: A leopard can’t change his SPOTS.

You can’t do it on your own – YOU NEED HELP.

3. And then you need to know that ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE.

Acts 4:10-12 says: There is no other name by which a man can be saved other than the name of Jesus.

4. Then you need to realised: HE IS WILLING TO SAVE YOUR SOUL.

Matthew 11:28 He says: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST.”

He is WILLING!

He made the Invitation over two thousand (2,000) years ago, and the Invitation is still STANDING.

5. But then YOU HAVE TO CALL ON HIM TO SAVE YOUR SOUL.

In Acts 2:21; the Bible says: “As many that will call on the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED.”

If you would call on Him and say: Save my Soul; HE WILL DO SO!

But if you are going to call on Him, DO IT NOW!

2 Corinthians 6:2 says TODAY is the day of Salvation not tomorrow.

I will remind you of one story that I’m sure you have heard before because you can delay and die while you are delaying.

You can delay and get into some very serious trouble before you come to Jesus.

But you can come to him today and avoid the trouble.

I told you about the story of a relation of mine, very Big Man (an in-law). He was a very good man, very kind, very nice.

And anytime we met him we will start Witnessing unto him.

Then one day we went to his house, he said in-law come – And then he took me round his house. A very big house (Mansion). Get to this room, deep freezer with Assorted fish, Goat meat, beef, turkeys, chickens, and the likes. Treasures!

And when we returned to the Living Room he said, In-law, you said you have Jesus Christ?

I said, Yes Sir!

He said, do you have all these things? – I said, No Sir!

He said, go and talk to the Poor, they are the ones who need Jesus.

He said, for me – I don’t need Him!

I said, Yes Sir.

Because where I come from, you don’t argue with your Inlaw (laughs!) Particularly if is he is the Inlaw from the side of your wife.

Few months Passed, and as I returned from the University, I saw somebody in my Living Room that looks like my In-law.

Looked like him; I had to look twice to say, he in the one! – In-law what happened?

He said the Accountant and the Auditor they Plotted, and they got him to sign a cheque.

I think was in millions of Pounds (in those days when we were still spending Pounds).

And after he signed, they added another zero, and ten (10) became hundred (100). And then they took the money and disappeared.

Not only was the money Practically enough to bring the Company down; the Owners of the Company where he was General Manager (or whatever) thought that he must know something about it.

… So now, he was about to go to Jail.

In-law, what do you now want me to do?

He said, I want you to pray for me.

Ha! In whose name?

He said in the Name of Jesus.

I said, but you said you don’t need Him?

… He said, that was then; this is now!

All the rosy chick has sagged; he was now looking like a carcass.

In-law, with all the food in your house?

He said, who can eat with all the problems?

ALTAR CALL.

Listen to me my Beloved Friend: Surrender your life to Jesus Christ TODAY – tomorrow might be TOO LATE.

And those of you who have already given your life to Jesus, you can see ALL THE BENEFITS?

Don’t sell yourself short.

Every benefits that is in Salvation, claim your own and claim them tonight.

Bow your head now – Those of you who will genuinely surrender to Jesus Christ, now that you know THE WONDERS OF SALVATION; – Cry to Jesus Christ with all your heart, because the Bible says, if you call on Him He will save your Soul.

Cry to Him and say: Jesus, PLEASE SAVE MY SOUL! Be my Lord, be my Saviour.

Give me a New Name, give me a New Accommodation, Put me under a New Management – Your Management.

I want Your Joy, I want Your Peace, I want Your Influence, I want Your Protection over me.

Jesus, save my soul today!

Those of you, who are already Born Again, Please intercede for those crying to God for Salvation now; pray that the Almighty God will save their Souls.

… Later on you will be praying for yourself.

But pray for these ones – That God will save their Souls and receive them in the Family of God.

Oh, Thank You my Father.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

CLOSING PRAYER

And so my Father and my God, I want to Thank You once again for Your Words.

I want to Thank You for those who have heard Your Words now and are crying to You for Salvation.

Please, remember Your Promise that whosoever will come to You, You will no wise cast out.

They have come now: Please, receive them, Save their souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, Receive them into the Family of God, give them a Brand New Beginning

And from now on, anytime they call on You, Please, answer them by Fire.

And Please, they and all those who have been Born Again before – All these Your Children; all those who have New Names that they are the Children of the Living God: Every Blessings that should be the Portion of True Children of the Most High God, Please, release unto them tonight!

I am praying Lord God Almighty, that even before tomorrow, everyone who is Truly Born Again will have a NEW TESTIMONY.

… Thank You my Father and my God.

I pray that in Your Kingdom, none of us will be found missing.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

Well, Praise the Lord – HALLELUJAH!

Now those of you who have just given your life to Jesus Christ, Please, get in contact with me so I can continue to pray for you.

Those of you who are truly sure that you are children of God, cry to Him.

Say: I can’t be a child of God and be in trouble and be suffering; I know all these Beautiful Things that are available to Your Children.

As a Child of God, I am claiming my own Inheritance now!

OPENING PRAYER

Our Father we give You Praise for a time like this.

Thank You for the 68th Annual Convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Thank You for Day One (1) of this Youth Hour.

We give You Praise, we give You Glory – Lord, we say all Glory be ascribe to Your Name in the Name of Jesus.

Lord, as we go on this evening: Bless us, Transform our lives and Change our situation.

Bless us, Increase us, Prosper us and Anoint us.

Bless us and at the end of the day give us the Grace to say “Wonderful” in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

APPRECIATION

I want to give God Praise for this wonderful Privilege given to me to Minister on the Day One (1) of this Youth Hour of the 68th Annual Convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

I want to appreciate my father in the Lord and all the fathers working with him and all our mummies – We give Praise to God.

May the Lord increase you in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

MESSAGE

I am asked to share the Word of God with us briefly on the Theme: WONDERFUL.

When we talk about the word “Wonderful”; we talk about: Something Majestic; Something Special.

I am going to be taking my Bible Text from Book of: Isaiah 9:6.

Follow me somebody!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the Government shall be upon His Shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Remember I said Wonderful means: Something Marvelous, Something Astonishing, Something Fantabulous.

I saw something in this Scripture; it says: His Name shall be called Wonderful.

So, what I discovered is that: Wonderful is not actually an act, Wonderful is a Person!

Wonderful is not what He does, Wonderful is who He is.

… His Name shall be called Wonderful!

It is not the expression of his attributes, Wonderful is His Personality.

Wonderful is His Name.

… His Name shall be called Wonderful!

Wonderful is a Person.
Wonderful is a Being – So, when we think Wonderful, we think of Somebody.

It says: ” Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given…..

So, this Prophesy was actually talking about Jesus Christ.

And this Scripture is showing to us that Jesus Christ Name is Wonderful.

And I saw something striking in that Scripture – It says that: His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

It occurred to me that this Scripture is saying that His Surname is Wonderful.

If I want to introduce myself, I say I am Olawande Daniel.

So, when I saw the Scripture; I see Wonderful as his surname.

So, He is Wonderful Counselor; Wonderful Mighty God; Wonderful Everlasting Father; Wonderful Prince of Peace.

So, it occurred to me that Wonderful is His surname – Meaning that is His inheritance.

The Lord is Particular about names. The Lord is concerned about names.

When the Lord wanted to change the story of Abraham, He changed his name from Abram to Abraham.

When the Lord wanted to do something Special with Sarah, He changed her name from Sarai to Sarah.

Anytime the Lord wants to do something Special He changes the name.

There is something about the name of a man. – A man that called Jacob, and he was left alone one (1) night.

And he wrestled with an Angel and he began to cry – I will not let you go unless you bless me.

I was expecting the Angel to lay hands on Jacob and say Jacob receive blessings.

I was expecting the Angel to come to Jacob and speak something; and say receive blessings.

But I saw something striking – He said: What is your name?

… Jacob was asking for blessings, Angle was asking for name.

Meaning your blessings is in your name!

Can I Prophesy over one million (1,000,000) People connected to this Platform or reading now on the Label of DMC – Any name you are bearing that is not a correct name, the Lord will change it today – Amen. Any force representation you are carrying; because your name is your identity; that identity is changed in the Name of Jesus – Amen..

He said what is your name?

He said my name is Jacob.

I believed the Angel checked through the System and Press Jacob and the System wrote error.

Now, I discovered why you are in problem – Your name is Jacob.

He said your name shall no longer be called Jacob but Israel because why? – The blessings is in a Nation.

You are carrying a Person’s Identity – Jacob is a Person; Israel is a Nation.

So, the Angel changed the Capacity from Person to a Nation!

Anytime the Lord wants to do something Special, He requests for a name.

… He said his name shall be called Wonderful.

From where I came from (Yoruba, The Western Part of Nigeria); I discovered that the name of a man tells us much about his family background.

When you hear names like Adeboye, you can Predict there is Royalty in that family.

When you hear some names connected to some “Local Deity”; you can Predict that they served this Particular god in this family.

When you hear some names attached to some Particular things, you know that this name is connected to this.

When you hear the name “Wonderful”; you can Predict that he came from the family of Wonder.

By the time you see: His Name shall be called Wonderful; it occurred to me that the family where he came from is a “Wonderful Family”.

… Wonderful is in their gene.

And I saw in the Book of Isaiah 8; let’s start from verse 17 (Isaiah 8:17) – There is something striking I saw in that scripture (Isaiah 8:17):

And I will wait upon the Lord, that hideth His face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

The Lord has hideth face from the house of Jacob – So they were looking for the Lord. The Lord was missing; they were looking for the Lord.

But look at what happened after he found the Lord, look at what happened to him:

He said: And behold….

Behold means have found him.

I behold him because you can become what you behold.

And behold and the children whom the Lord hath given me, we are for Signs and Wonders.

He didn’t have an Identity until he beholds the Lord.

By the time he beheld the Lord, he saw that his children are for Signs and Wonders.

Who taught him?

He came in contact with their family gene.

Our family gene is Wonderful.

So, any Seed that comes from him are for Signs and Wonders.

Wonderful means full of Wonders.

When you says: He is full of wonders; so I and the children the Lord has given to me; we are for Signs and Wonders.

Not because we want to be – We are not begging to be Signs and Wonders. That is who we are because we beheld the Lord.

… When we found the Lord we became what we beheld.

You look like what you look at.

By the time I saw the Lord, I became …..; my children are for Signs and for Wonders.

You don’t beg a lion to roar. You don’t beg a fish to swim. You don’t beg a dog to bark – It is a Natural instinct.

You don’t need to beg me to have Wonder; it is my Natural Identity!

Wonder is not what I Pray for – That is who I am.

I came from a Wonder Family; I came from the family of Wonders – My Father is called wyonderful. So Naturally, I manifest Wonders.

Somebody say I am Wonderful – WONDERFUL!

Say: I manifest Wonders – I MANIFEST WONDERS!

Say: Wonders is my Nature – WONDERS IS MY NATURE!

If this Prophesy in Isaiah 9:6 is talking about Jesus and is telling me what Jesus His; then for me how do I access what Jesus His?

How do I become what I found about Jesus?

I saw in the Scripture in the Book of John 1:12:

“For as many that believed Him, He gave them Power to become the sons of God…”

Remember I and the children the Lord has given to me; we are for Signs and Wonders – So, I am a child of God.

As many that believe Him and received Him, He gave them Power to be called Wonderful because the Identity of the sons of God is Wonderful.

The day I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, I entered into my “Wonderful Identity”.

1 Corinthian 5:17 says: If any man be in Christ he is a New Creature, Old things are Pass away, behold all things are become New.

Meaning no matter how terrible you are, the day you accepted Jesus Christ you become Wonderful.

Roman 8, let’s start from verse 14 (Romans 8:14).

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

At what point do I become the son of God?

As many that receives Him He gave them Power to become Wonderful.

If I am led by the Spirit of God; I am the son of God.

John 3:5-8 says:

5. … Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee; Ye must be Born Again.
8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

I, born of the Spirit meaning I am being a Wonder. I carry a Wonderful gene.

How do I know I am born of the Spirit?

He says as He is born of the water and of the Spirit ….

What is the Water?

I saw in Ephesians 5:26 says: That He might Sanctify and Cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word.

So, I saw that “The Word” is the Water.

1 Peter 1:23 says: Being Born Again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

And John 6:63 says: …. The Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life.

So, when the Word is spoken to me and I received that Word, I am born of water and of the Spirit – So what is happening to me is that I become Wonderful. I become Wonderful because I entered the “Wonderful Gene’.

Hear me People of God; there is something I saw again: I was going to attend a Government Program and in that Meeting we were expecting a Top Government Functional.

But when I got there, I saw Security Officers everywhere – I said the man is inside.

By the time I entered inside the hall; I didn’t see the man – I saw the wife.

And I asked Myself a question: If it is the wife that came here, how come all the Securities are here?

When you marry a man, you are at the level of the man – You enjoy the Possibility of the man.

And the Bible calls us “The Bride of Christ”.

If Jesus is Wonderful and the Church is “The Bride of Christ”, automatically we become Wonderful.

The name of a woman changes the time she marries – No matter where you are coming from; by the time you marry the name changes.

The time you are married to Jesus, your name changes.

No matter how terrible you are, you are changed to Wonderful.

Somebody say I am Wonderful – I AM WONDERFUL.

Halleluyah!

We are the sons of God by what Mystery?

Romans 8:17 says: And if children, then Heirs; Heirs of God, and Joint Heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also Glorified together.

We are Heirs of the father; Joint Heirs with the Son.

I am not just and Heir, I am a Joint Heir – So, whatever Jesus has I have also.

If I am going to manifest this “Wonderful Nature” what should I do?

I need to behold the Wonderful Himself!

“Looking Unto the Lord Jesus the Author and the Finisher of your Faith”

I have to look at Jesus.

So when I look at Jesus Christ what do I see?

I see that: Jesus is Wonderful in Signs and Wonders.

People were hungry; He got only five (5) loaves of bread and two (2) fishes and fed five thousand (5,000) People.

… I saw that Jesus Christ is Wonderful in Signs and Wonders.

He was walking round the Street of the City and a woman had the “Issue of Blood”.

And the woman came behind and touches Jesus Christ.

Something happened – Jesus Christ said: Virtues has left me.

When the “Virtues of Jesus Christ” met with the issue of the woman; Miracle happened.

Anytime “Virtue” contact “Issue”; there is a Miracle!

I saw that Jesus is Wonderful in Signs:

1. He saw a man Paralyzed from the womb; he saw a man that was very very Paralyzed from birth. He asked the man to stand up and the man began to walk.
2. He saw a dead man of four (4) days, He came and asked the man to come out of the grave – And Lazarus came out.

I saw that he was wonderful in signs and wonders: Act 10:38 says: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power: who went about doing Good, and Healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.

I saw that Jesus is Wonderful in Signs and Wonders Number one (1):

1. If I am married to Jesus Christ; I am Wonderful in Signs and Wonders.
2. If I am Joint Heirs with Jesus Christ; whatever Jesus Christ is, I am.

Therefore because I have a Right as a Sign and a Wonder and I am flowing with the gene of Wonderful; I decree over anyone reading on the Label of DMC on the Wheel Chair in your house, in the hospital – *RISE UP!.

Every blind begin to see. Every deaf begin to hear. Dumb begin to speak. Dead rise; Covid-19 disappear; Cancer die – Amen.

Any condition you carry; I speak as a Sign and a Wonder come out of that condition now in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

As I begin to close, I saw Number two (2):

1. He is Wonderful in Sacrifice.

Jesus left Heaven to come and die on the Earth.

Hear me sir: It is not that there is no space for Him in Heaven but He came because of Sacrifice.

“Greater Love had no man than these for a man to lay down his life for his friend”

He died because of you and I – Sacrifice!

Philippians 2:5-11 says:

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Jesus went down to go up.

If Jesus is Wonderful in Sacrifice, you need to be Wonderful in #acrifice – It is your Nature.

There are many things for you to be Wonderful in Sacrifice.

What do you Sacrifice?

I. You Sacrifice your life.

II. You Place your life on the Altar for Jesus.

Wonderful in Sacrifice – Jesus Christ became sin yet He knew no sin.

Wonderful in sacrifice.

If that is the family I belong to; I should be Wonderful in Sacrifice.

I Sacrifice my life to Jesus; I Sacrifice my time and (the one you won’t like to hear); I Sacrifice my money.

Jesus Christ sacrifice ALL when He came – So, you need to Sacrific too.

I sense it that the Lord is speaking to somebody – There are certain Projects in your Local Assembly, God said be Wonderful in Sacrifice.

This Convention cost something; be Wonderful in Sacrifice.

The New Arena Project is there; be Wonderful in Sacrifice.

Missionaries are there; be Wonderful in Sacrifice.

People, Needy are everywhere; be Wonderful in Sacrifice.

You are not Helping God by Giving; you are Manifesting a Wonderful Nature.

Anytime you Give; you don’t need an accolade – It is your Nature!

Nobody need to Praise a lion for roaring – It is his Nature.

I shouldn’t Praise you for Giving if you are Wonderful in Sacrifice.

“For God so Love the world that He gave….”

If God gave you have to give.

As I close this Session: You know you are not yet Wonderful in Sacrificing your life: “I beseech you therefore Brethren by the Mercies of God that you Present your Bodies as a Living Sacrifice.”

ALTAR CALL

If you want to give your life to Jesus or rededicate your life; Place your hands on your chest and say after me:

Lord Jesus; I am sorry for my sins.

I believed that you died for me on the Cross of Calvary. I confess you as my Lord. Come into my heart. Make me Brand New just as Pure as wool.

I will serve you for the rest of my life and I will never return back.

I received the Grace to live a Holy life.

I received the Holy Ghost and I am saved.

So, shall it be in the Name of Jesus – Amen.

GENERAL PRAYER

Everybody, wherever you are rise up and begin to decree;

I am Wonderful

I Manifest my Wonderful Nature

That is who you are.

This is your Nature.

Wonderfulness is your Nature.

You are full of Wonders.

Give God Praise somebody – Hallelujah!

Begin to decree:

I am Wonderful in the Name of Jesus.

In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER

I Pray for you in the Name of Jesus after this Service you operate as a “Wonderful Nature”.

When you don’t know your Identity you end up a nonentity. But when you get it; you end up a Celebrity without calamity.

Right now operate as a Wonderful Being.

The Lord bless you – Amen.

Praise, Praise, Praise, the Lord – Hallelujah!

Our Parent shout Hallelujah with us – Hallelujah.

We Thank God for this Year of “Wonderful Convention”.

And we did not say we are not Physically together. The Spirit of God is around where we are.

Our Father in the Lord (Pastor E.A Adeboye) will be coming up shortly to Pray for the Children and the Teenagers Specially.

And I Pray that wherever you are; you bow your heads and you close your eyes and stay connected with all the blessings of the Lord that our Father will be bringing to us.

That blessings will remain Permanent in our lives – Amen.
