BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 30: 41-43.

GENERAL PRAYER

The Bible says only the Living shall Praise the Lord.

So, if you are still alive, open your mouth and begin to Praise God.

Give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration.

Worship Him because He is Worthy to be Praised, Adore Him, give Him Glory and Honour.

Thank You Father!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Worshipped – Amen!

OPENING PRAYER

King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Ancient of Days, the Father of all fathers – Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Thank You once again for January, Thank You for February, Thank You for March, Thank You for April and Thank You now for bringing us to the Month of May.

Father, Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

For all You have done for us since the beginning of the Year – In Provision, in Protection, in Support, in Security and in every areas of Life.

Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Today, my Father and my God, we are committing especially Students from Nursery even to the University – Students of all Categories; my Father and my God, take care of them.

Give them Wisdom, give them Understanding and let them be Exceedingly Great.

And since we are all Students Studying at Your Feet, learning more and more about You; bless everyone of us and make everyone of us Exceedingly Great

As for all Your Children all over the world who has been Faithful in the Payment of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings – This Month, embarrass them with Your Blessings.

The Evidence that it Pays to serve God, let it be more and much more in their lives now than before.

And Today my Father and my God, we are Praying that by the time this Service is over; everyone of us will have New Testimonies.

Thank You Almighty God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Now, I want you to shake hands with People on your right and left and then Prophesy to them and say:

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, You shall be Exceedingly Great.

Tell the Fellow on the other side the same thing.

And then you turn – But this time around, you are going to talk about yourself – And say:

Neighbour, whether you believe it or not; I’m going to be Exceedingly Great.

Let’s open our Bible to Genesis 30: 41-43 – But you should read the whole Story at home (DMC NOTES: You can read the whole Story from Genesis 30: 25-43 – A Beautiful reading indeed!).

Genesis 30:41-43:

41. And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods.
42. But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.
43. And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.

Greatness can be Generational:

1. Abraham was Great – Genesis 24: 34-38.
2. Isaac his son was Very Great – Genesis 26: 12-14.
3. And we now come to Jacob – The one we read about today in the Bible Text.

In Genesis 30:43, he became Exceedingly Great.

Greatness usually begins with Somebody in the family. And then like a River, the Greatness can continue to flow downwards!

My real name is “Adejare” and “Adeboye” is my father’s name.

By the Special Grace of God, one way or the other, it has Pleased the Almighty God to bless “Adeboye” – That’s my father.

But now, everywhere I go, I am Pastor Adeboye – Many People don’t even know “Adejare”.

And the other day, Somebody saw my son somewhere – Oh, you are “Adeboye”.

What did he call him? “Adeboye”.

So, even if there is no Greatness in your Generation, it will begin in your Life – Amen!

You see, because the moment God makes you Great; your children will become automatically Great – It flows like a River.

But then, we want to talk briefly about this boy that the Bible says was Exceedingly Great – So that we can learn from him.

So, even though our Parents are Great, we can become Exceedingly Great.

1. He was Blessed by his father Isaac – Genesis 27: 1-38.

And then God confirmed that Blessing in Genesis 28: 10-22 – God told him that He will bless him with the Blessing is not just of your father but that of your Grandfather, I Pass it to you.

When God was speaking to Man after He Created Man in Genesis 1: 26-28; the first thing that He said to Man is: “Be Blessed”.

So, I can repeat what God said that Day on Somebody here Today or reading now on the Label of DMC: No matter how Young you are – “Be Blessed”!

2. The Second Thing about this boy who became Exceedingly Great was that: “He was Focused”.

And I hope those of you who are Students in Particular because this is your Day – I hope you will take Note of that.

He was focused on what he wanted to be!

Some of you now – If they asked you: When you grow Old, what do you want to become? Some of you don’t even have an answer.

But there are some of you – No matter how Young you are; you are already thinking that I’m going to be a Doctor or Lawyer.

And I think that Somebody might be thinking that I want to be General Overseer.

When you read about this Fellow in Genesis 29: 15-28; when he was asked: Who are you going to marry? He said Rachel.

And the father said: Okay, you serve me for seven (7) Years without Salary. Your Salary after seven (7) Years will be my daughter, Rachel.

But then, when the seven (7) Years has Passed, and he asked for Rachel; the father of Rachel Performed a trick and gave him Leah instead of Rachel.

Jacob was so madly in love – You know that he didn’t even check the face of the one they gave to him until the following Morning.

The following Morning, he said: Ha, Rachel is what I want but you have given me Leah.

Papa said, no Problem! You still want Rachel? Then serve me for another seven (7) Years.

And Jacob said: No Problem.

… He knew where he was going.

The Bible tells us in Luke 9: 61-62 – Once you have laid your hands on the Plough, you must not look back.

Once you have made up your Mind that this is what I want to become; then “Be Focused”.

You cannot Succeed in Life if you don’t know where you are going!

And this has nothing to do with Age – You have to decide even when you are Young!

For Example, my father has two (2) wives – And he was so Poor that Poor People call him Poor. Yet he has two (2) wives and ten (10) children.

I was Young – And I am talking of way back in 1955.

But I have enough sense to realised that if I don’t Study hard, I will die in Poverty!

Because all the Plantations that my father had is not enough to make him rich – I mean Poor People call him Poor.

Now, there are ten (10) children – And so when he dies, they will divide what is not enough for one Man to ten (10) Places.

That is “Poverty Squared”.

So, I Study very hard, gained Admission to Elisha Grammar School Ilesha Osun State Nigeria and my Parents said that where are we going to get the Money to Pay the School fees?

They said to me: Do you want to ridicule us? Where will the Money comes to Pay the School fees?

I told them that: You will have to find the Money one way or the other.

I told them as Young as I was in 1955 – I am not going to eat until you Pay the Money because you have to Pay.

When you get the Admission in those days, you have to Pay what you call Deposit – Something that will serve as evidence that you have Accepted the Offer.

And the Admission Deposit then was two Pounds Sterling (£2) – That was a lot of Money in those days!

I am not going to eat until you Pay – My mother laughed, when hunger catches you, you will Change your Mind.

First Day, I refused to eat; Second Day, I refused to eat – And I happened to be the only son of my mother.

I have three (3) Sisters but I am the only son.

When by the Third Day and she saw that the way I was; they found the two Pounds Sterling (£2) by force – Because I was focused.

I know that if I don’t Study hard, I will die in Poverty.

I Pray for all of you Students listening to me Today or reading now on the Label of DMC: None of you will die in Poverty – Amen!

3. He was Diligent – A Hardworking Man.

For 14 Years he Laboured because he wanted Someone.

Hebrews 11:6 says: God is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

You want to become Exceedingly Great? You cannot be Lazy – There is no room for Laziness in the Kingdom of God.

Proverbs 12:24 says: The Diligent shall bear rule.

It is only the one who is Hardworking who will ever become anything in Life.

It doesn’t only apply to Students, it applies to everybody.

If you are not Hardworking, God is not going to Reward you – He is not going to make the Lazy Great. Never!

He wrote it in His Words – Only the Diligent will bear rule. The Slothful, they will always be Servant.

I’m sure that I have told you this Story before:

When I was going to a Particular University every Month – I still have Plenty of time then to go and teach them the Bible.

And then I got there one day and I saw everybody – They were all sad.

What is the Problem? They said that many of the People in the Fellowship who will Pray and Fast, failed their exams.

I said what happened? And they told me the details.

And I said that at the time when you are supposed to be Studying, you are Singing Choruses?

Are you not the one who told us that the Holy Spirit will remind us and will help us?

I say that the Bible says that the Holy Spirit will remind you of what you have learnt .

You don’t Study? What is He going to remind you about?

What is the duty of the Holy Spirit?

I say: He will Comfort you – He will tell you: Wake Up, tomorrow you will Pass if you now begin to Study very hard.

I hope you children are listening – You don’t work hard or you don’t Study hard and you think that you will go to the Examination Hall and then get there and begin to speak in Tongues?

And the Teacher will say: What is the Square Root of 169? And you begin to speak in Tongues?

Iro ni yen – DMC NOTES: That is a lie!

Nothing will come!

4. And then, this boy who became Exceedingly Great was a Prayer Warrior.

God answers Prayers – And He even answer the Prayers of Younger People faster than the Older ones!

Because the Older ones has so many other things that they are worrying about and so they don’t have time to Pray!

You must Pray!

In Genesis 32: 24-28; this Young Man (Jacob) had an Encounter with an Angel and he began to wrestle with him.

He was winning and the Angel said: Leave me alone and let me go?

He (Jacob) said that you are not going anywhere until you bless me.

The Bible says that even the Angel dislocated his thigh – He said that it is my thigh that you dislocated and not my neck. I am still going to get what I want.

Until finally, the Angel said: Okay, what is it that you said you want?

He said: Just bless me.

You have an Advantage – Those of you who are already in Christ at your Youthful Age – You have the Almighty God to cry to.

Many of us (Elderly ones), when we were at your Age; we didn’t know anything about Christ – Some of us never went to Church and some of us even when we go to Church, the one Preaching to us Probably didn’t even know what he is talking about. When he is talking, Probably we fall asleep.

But in your own case, your situation is different!

He Prayed until God had to say: Okay, whatever is it that you say you want; you will get it.

That doesn’t apply to Students alone – It applies to everyone of us.

You want to be Exceedingly Great? And you are Lazy in Prayers? Somebody is deceiving Somebody – You must be a Prayer Warrior!

Some of you have heard me tell you this before:

I became General Overseer and I did everything that I could but the Church was not growing.

Every Monthend, I have a Seminar – People will come for the Seminar but by Sunday, I won’t see them.

I Pray, I Fasted and I Studied the Bible, but Nothing was happening.

Then one day at the Redemption Camp, I told God: Today is today; when you told me to become General Overseer, I said leave me alone and let me continue to do my work as a Lecturer.

Afterall, I am already serving you as a Lecturer – The little Money I get as a Lecturer, once I give my wife the Money for food, the rest is Yours.

But you said that I should leave that and come and lead Your Church.

I said alright I agreed but I am not seeing results.

So I told God: It is You and I here and Nobody is here – It is either You do something or you take me Home!

When God saw that I was desperate, He answered,

There was an Earthquake at the Redemption Camp – The Ground shook and the shaking was felt as far as Ijebu Ode (City in Ogun State Nigeria). Pictures hung on the Wall were falling down.

Is there Somebody here Today or reading now on the Label of DMC that God is going to in a Remarkable way? Yes, The DMC Family Members!

DMC NOTES: Ijebu Ode is about 60Km away from the Redemption Camp.

How come that this boy become Exceedingly Great? It was because God was with him – For him and with him!

Romans 9: 10-16; the Almighty God had already decreed – It was already in the Destiny of this boy that he was going to become Exceedingly Great before he was born.

And like we discussed during the RCCG May 2025 HGS on Friday, 2nd May 2025 in Jeremiah 29:11 – You are Destined to become Great.

You said: How do you know?

This boy got the Blessings of Abraham.

And the Bible says that if you are in Christ, you are Abraham’s Seed.

If you are a True Christian, you are on the same Line of Greatness as Abraham!

The Bible tells us that Christ has redeemed us from the Curse of the Law because it is written that Curse is any Man that hangeth on a tree.

He said that so that the Blessings of Abraham can be on you.

Your Destiny is Settled!

☆ You are Settled for Greatness.

☆ You are Destined to be Exceedingly Great.

And when Jesus Christ opens the door, Nobody can shut it.

There are several People who could have been glad if I had died Young.

But as we will learn at the Next HGS (DMC NOTES: RCCG June 2025 HGS with the Theme: Destined For Greatness – Part 2) – If you are Destined for Greatness, there is no way that you can die before you become Great!

Destiny has a way of destroying Death!

So, all you my children – You are not going to die Young (Amen).

That is why I asked you to tell your Neighbour: Whether you like it or not; I am going to be Exceedingly Great!

So, the Choice is yours – Are you a Child of God? Do you belong to Jesus Christ?

If you belong to Jesus Christ – Not Pretending, there is no way that the Blessings of Abraham will not come down on you.

Greatness is Generational – And it flows Downstream!

If you truly, truly belong to Jesus Christ – If you are not Pretending.

If you really mean it and you say that Jesus Christ, You are my Lord whether the devil likes it or not; you will be Great!

But if you are Pretending, you will know what the results will be.

ALTAR CALL

So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ – You want to really, really be a Child of the Living God; come and stand before the Altar.

Let us Pray for your Salvation – And as soon as you become a True Christian, the Blessings of Abraham will become available to you.

So, I will count from one (1) to seven (7) – If you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, you can begin to come now as I count.

I want those of us who are already infront and those on the way; cry to God and say:

Lord Jesus, Please save my Soul as I want to be a Child of the Living God and I want to be a Seed of Abraham.

And I Promise You Lord that I will serve You for the rest of my Life – Be my Saviour and be my Lord.

Go ahead and talk to God.

And the rest of us, let us Stretch our hands towards these People and intercede for them.

Pray that the One who saved your Soul will save their own Souls also.

Go ahead and let us Pray!

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name.

I want to Thank You so much for Your Word Today and I want to Thank You for these People who has come forward to Surrender their lives to You.

Father, Please receive them in Jesus Name, save their Souls in Jesus Name, let Your Blood wash away their sins, write their names in the Book of Life and let them become Children of the Living God in Jesus Name.

And anytime that they cry to You, answer them by Fire.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Those of you who are sure that because you are now True Children of the Livinf God and you are going to end up Exceedingly Great, Stand on your Feet and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You for Your Words.

The reason why Jacob became Exceedingly Great was because he was blessed by You.

I am Standing Lord God Almighty in the Position of a father to these Your Children and I hereby decree:

Everyone of you, you shall be Blessed.

You shall be Great.

You shall be Exceedingly Great.

You will not fall by the way Side.

You will not die Young.

You will not die Poor.

You will not die Unknown.

The Almighty God will Reward you.

All your Efforts will not be in vain.

What you want to become, the Almighty God will make it Possible.

It shall be well with you.

Before I see you next time, you will already be Greater.

So shall it be.

And you too, you will Serve the Lord.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

So, you are going to lift your Voice to the Almighty God.

Remember that Jacob was a Prayer Warrior – And so, you need to Pray hard this Morning.

And say: Father, beginning from now, let my Greatness begins.

Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God!!!

OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God, the King of kings and the Lord of lords; the Ancient of Days, the Father of fathers.

The One who reigns forever! The Unchangeable Changer – We bless Your Holy Name.

We Thank You for another wonderful Month.

We Thank You for January; we Thank You for February; and we Thank You now for March.

We Thank You for all You have done for us since the beginning of the Year.

And we are Thanking You in Advance for what You would yet do even as we continue with this Wonderful Landmark Year.

Father, Please accept our Thanks, in Jesus’ Mighty Name.

Today, my Father and my God, we are Praying especially for the Young Professionals, all the Youths, all the Young Adults:

We Pray Lord God Almighty, that You would guide them.

You would be with them.

You would Promote them.

You would give them a very, very Great Future.

In all areas of their lives Father, let it be well with them.

And we commit all Your Children who have been Faithful in the Paying of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings:

Please Lord, this Month (March 2025), in a very Special Way; embarrass them with Your Blessings.

Fulfil all Your Promises for them.

And just let it be well with them.

Today, as Your Word would be going forth, the Power in Your Word Lord:

Let it bring Healing to all Your Children.

Let it bring Deliverance to those who are in Bondage.

And let it give Joy to all of us.

Very, very soon my Father and my God; let it be said of us, “They know Joy Unspeakable and full of Glory.”

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

I want to rejoice with you that the Almighty God has brought you into the Month of March (2025).

I could not be with you today, because I am in the Prayer Room Praying for you.

And I hope you too would Pray for me, because today happens to be my Birthday.

And I am looking forward to seeing you at the Special Holy Ghost Service this Friday (DMC NOTES: Friday 7th March 2025), when we would be talking on, “Joy Unspeakable.”

Today, we have been asked to speak on: “Greater Tomorrow.”

Our Bible Text would be: Isaiah 3:10.

Say ye to the Righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

In the Name that’s above every other name, I Pray for each and every one of you listening to me right now including those reading now on the Label of DMC: It shall be Well with you – Amen.

Your future will be Alright – Amen.

LIFE IS IN THREE (3) PHASES:

• The Past
• The Present, and
• The Future.

It is referred to as Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

Hebrews 13:8 tells us, Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.

“The Past is the mother of the Present – Yesterday is the mother of Today.”

So, when you hear People saying, “Let the Past go.” You would understand why it is difficult to let the Past go at times.

… Because the Past is the mother of the Present.

And the Present has the DNA of the Past.

You are who you are today because of certain Decisions that you took in the Past.

If you are a Medical Doctor today, it means somewhere in the Past, you chose to go to the Medical School – You were good in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and so you chose to do Medicine.

You could easily have chosen to be a Professor of Physics, or Chemistry, or Biology, but you chose to go to the Medical School.

So today, you are a Medical Doctor.

Today is the mother of Tomorrow – Decisions you take Today will invariably affect your Tomorrow.

So, Life is in Three (3) Phases;

• Past, Present and Future
• Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

But the most important of all the three (3) – is Tomorrow.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.

The most important thing is not how you start;.

It is not even how you are now;

It is how you end!

The Almighty God has the ability to Guarantee your Future.

He can make sure that your Tomorrow will be Great.

We’ve been discussing the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just about ten (10) or twelve (12) days ago.

And we could see in the lives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that God can be the Author of a Greater Tomorrow.

ABRAHAM

In Genesis 24:1, and 34-35, you would find that God blessed Abraham in all things; and made him Great.

ISAAC

By the time we get to Isaac, when you read Genesis 26:1-14, you would discover that Isaac became Very Great.

… The father was great, and the son was Very Great.

JACOB

By the time you get to Jacob, in Genesis 30:1-end, you would discover that he was called, Exceedingly Great.

So when we are talking about the Past, you can call Abraham – Great.

Present? Talk of Isaac – Very Great.

Future? Talk of Jacob – Exceedingly Great.

It is Possible for God to take you from Great to Greater; and to Exceedingly Great.

God can Guarantee that your Future would be Great; and that your Tomorrow would be Very Great.

And that is my Prayer for everyone of you; that from this Day onwards, you would grow Progressively Great – Amen.

Still looking at Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – Just to show you how God can move you, from no matter how small you think you are to a very Great Tomorrow.

I. God gave Abraham a son.

Oh! He had two (2) sons, but God said He recognized only one – Isaac (Genesis 22:1-18).

What God said to Abraham is: Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the Land of Moriah; and offer him there for a Burnt Offering upon one of the Mountains which I will tell thee of.

So, as far as God is concerned, He says, I recognize one son.

Ii. By the time we moved onto Isaac, he had two (2) sons.

… Baba (Meaning Father) had one; but the son had two – You can read about that in Genesis Chapter 25.

III. By the time we got to Jacob – Jacob had twelve (12) sons.

So, you can see the Progression; one son, two sons, twelve sons!

IV. And then the twelve (12) sons Multiplied – So that by the time we get to Genesis 46:27, the Bible says the total number of Souls that came to Egypt, from the Household of Jacob; they were Seventy (70).

From one, to two, to twelve, to seventy!

V. And then when you read Exodus 12:37, the Bible says, when those seventy Souls were going to leave Egypt years later; they had become 600,000 Men, plus Children.

So, when we are talking about a “Greater Tomorrow”, you can see how God steadily moves Upward.

God is interested in increasing you Steadily.

The Word of God says, “Despise not the days of small beginnings.” (DMC NOTES: Zachariah 4:10).

You may be small Today and become Exceedingly Great Tomorrow – It is Possible!

But then, there are things you would have to do, if you are to have a Greater Tomorrow:

And I am Praying for everyone of you – You will never become Less – Amen.

I Pray from the bottom of my Heart: You will never know a better Yesterday – Amen.

No matter how small you are, you will get Greater – Amen.

No matter how Great you are, you will get Greater – Amen.

But, you would have to know – There are things you would have to do, for this God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to move you to a better Tomorrow.

THINGS YOU HAVE TO DO

1. You Parents, you must Train your Children in the way of God:

Because these your children are your Tomorrow.

When I was Younger – I’m still Young: I’m only eighty three (83).

But when I was much Younger, there is a Proverb in Yorubaland:

Because, in those days, they begged the farmers to send their children to School.

They said, you are asked to train your child, but you say you are building a house. They say, “The child you don’t train would sell the house you are building.”

DMC NOTES: There is a Yoruba Proverb that says: “Omo ti a ko ko ni gbe ile ti ako ta”. Translated as “An Untrained Child would sell the house we build with our sweat. Because, if you don’t build a child, and you build a house; that child would sell off the house”.

Your children represent your Tomorrow.

And God said in Genesis 18:17-19 when He was talking about Abraham: For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do Righteousness and Justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.

He said, I know Abraham, that he will train his children in the way of the Lord – That’s why I am blessing him.

I know him; that he will train his children in the way of the Lord.

Proverbs 22:6 says, if you Train up a child in the way he should go; when he is old, he will not depart from it.

So Parents, wake up! – Train your children in the way of the Lord.

Don’t say, “Let him do whatever he likes!”

If you allow him to do whatever he likes, you are ruining your Future.

I know Parents, Particularly those of you who claim you are highly Sophisticated, highly Educated – You claim that you know Life more than anyone else.

When your children are doing wrong, they say: “Well, let him sow his own wild oats.”

If he sow wild oats, it is your future that will be ruined.

DMC NOTES: Sowing wild oats means to engage in a Period of wild or irresponsible behaviour while Young, especially involving many casual Sexual Relationships.

Train your children in the way of the Lord – Be firm when it comes to your children serving the Lord.

2. Children, Particularly the Young ones who are listening to me now, or reading now on the Label of DMC; Obey your Parents.

The Word of God says it clearly in Colossians 3:20 – “Obey your Parents in all things.”

Obey them! They are your Parents.

And Ephesians 6:1-3 makes it even clearer still: You are not only to obey them, you are to honour them.

Why?

• He said, “It is in Honouring your Parents that you would even have a Future at all.”
• It is in Honouring your Parents that you would live long.

If you don’t honour your Parents, the Bible makes it clear – You may die Young.

If you are a girl and you now begin to think, that you know much more than your Mum; you know much more than your Father; you may never become a Mum.

Because if you don’t live long, then where is your Future?

As for all of us – Young and Old: What do we do to Guarantee a Greater Future?

1. Learn to Sow:

It is what you Sow in the Present that is going to be your Harvest in the Future.

Genesis 26:12-14 tells us, Isaac sowed repeatedly.

That’s how he kept on increasing and waxing Great until he became Very Great.

2 Corinthians 9:6 made it clear: You sow sparingly, your Harvest will be sparingly. You sow bountifully, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would see to it that you would reap bountifully.

Today can determine Tomorrow – What you do now will determine what you get Tomorrow.

Learn to Sow.

2. Be Diligent:

Whether you are a father, mother, or child, be diligent.

Hebrews 11:6 tells us, God is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

God, who Controls Tomorrow, Rewards only those who are diligent.

Proverbs 12:24 says, The hand of the diligent shall bear rule.

In other words, you want a Tomorrow where you would be the one in Charge? Be diligent.

If you are not diligent, you would end up a Servant.

It is the one who is Hardworking Today, who is going to be in Charge Tomorrow.

That is the Word of God.

3. Humble yourself:

Pride is a killer.

The Word of God made it abundantly clear: God resists the Proud.

And you cannot have a Future if God is constantly resisting you.

Learn to be Humble.

If you Humble yourself under the Mighty Hand of God, sooner or later, He will Promote you.

You will have a Great Tomorrow if you Humble yourself under the Mighty Hand of God.

4. Submit to God.

James 4:6-7 tells you; there is only one Fellow who can ruin your Future – Who is determined to ruin your Future.

And that is the devil.

But the Bible says: if would Submit yourself to God, you would resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

• If you Submit to God, He will make sure that Nobody will tamper with your Destiny.
• You Submit to God, your Greater Tomorrow is Guaranteed.

Let me Conclude, by referring you to Colossians 1:27 – The Bible says, Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.

You would have a Glorious Tomorrow if you have Christ living in you.

Which reminds me of the Bible Text that I read to you (DMC NOTES: Isaiah 3:10):

Say ye to the Righteous;

• Say ye to the one who has Submitted Completely to God;
• Say ye to the one who has Humbled himself under the Mighty Hand of God;

That it shall be well with him – Amen.

How do I know that my Tomorrow would be alright?

How do I know that I have a Greater Tomorrow?

Simply because the Bible says so!

Now, I would remind you of a Story that I’m sure you have heard from me several times before:

That someone came to me and said, “Sir, I learnt you are a Prophet of God.” I said: I am not a Prophet, I am a Pastor.

But he said well, they told that whenever you say “God said” it would come to pass. I said well, God has been Faithful.

He said, “Can you tell me my Future?”

I said, that’s easy! Just answer a Simple Question, and I’ll tell you your Future Straightaway.

Are you Born Again? Are you a Child of God?”

He said, No! I said, Ha! Your future will be terrible.

He said, How do you know? You don’t even know my name and you have not even Prayed!

I said, there is no need – It is written, No Prophecy can cancel the Word of God.

The Word of God says clearly in Isaiah 3:11 “Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him.

He said, supposed I say I am Born Again; supposed I say I am a Child of God?

I said, then I would tell you that your Tomorrow would be alright.

“How do you know?” The same Isaiah 3:10, “Say ye to the Righteous, that it shall be well with him.”

My Beloved Children, I am talking to you like a father; from the bottom of my Heart – I want your Future to be Great.

You have Probably heard me Pray, and crying to the Almighty God, saying: “Lord, let all my children be better than I.”

Some People wonder, “How can you Pray that kind of Prayer?”

That is the way my own Future can be Guaranteed!

… I want all my children to be Greater than I.

If you are Pretending to be a Child of God, and you are not; you have no Future.

Believe me honestly, if Christ is not Genuinely living in you, you have no Future.

ALTAR CALL

So those of you who really, really want to receive Jesus Christ;

You want Him to dwell in you;

You want your Future to be Great;

I invite you right now!

Come to the Altar right now, or Stand up wherever you are reading this Message now on the Label of DMC – Come and Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.

And you know the Beauty of it?

If you get Born Again Today, you can always say, “I became a Child of God on the Birthday of Daddy G.O.”

That will be a Beautiful Testimony.

So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; move to the Altar very quickly wherever you are listening to me or reading now on the Label of DMC all over the world.

I am going to count from one (1) to ten (10) – Before I say ten (10), make sure that you are already Standing before the Altar.

… I’m counting now!

If there is anyone at all, you know you want to give your Life to Jesus; or you are a Backslider and you want to return to Jesus, come quickly.

Cry to God: Jesus, I want a Greater and Glorious Tomorrow.

If you are in me, I will have Hope of Glory.

Please Lord, save my Soul. Come and make Your Abode in my Heart. Let Your Blood wash away my sins.

I want to be one of Your Children and I want my Future to be Glorious – Please Jesus, save my Soul.

Please the rest of us, kindly Stretch your hands to the People in front and Pray for them:

That the Almighty God who saved your Soul would save their own Souls also.

That God will give them Genuine Salvation.

And that they will become True Children of the Living God.

Go ahead, Pray for them Brethren.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your holy Name for Your Word.

I want to Thank You very, very much for those who have come forward Today to Surrender their lives to You; including all those reading now on the Label of DMC:

Please, forgive them, save their Souls and let Your Blood wash away their sins.

Write their names in the Book of Life and let them become Members of the Family of God.

Please Lord God Almighty, from now on, whenever they call on You, answer them by Fire.

Let their Tomorrow be Alright.

Let all of us serve You till the very End.

My Father and my God, in a moment, Your Children will be crying unto You:

Whatever Prayer Your Children will Pray Today – This Very Special Day:

Answer them before the Sun Set, so that we would all have Good cause to Glorify Your Name.

I Pray Lord God Almighty, that the Future of every one of us will be Brilliant.

Our Future would be Marvellously Glorious.

That we would be far, far better than our Parents.

And we would serve You till the End!

GENERAL PRAYERS

Shall we just lift our hands to the Almighty God and bless His Holy. Let’s go ahead and give Him all the Glory, Honour and Adoration.

Praise Him – Praise the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

Go ahead and Magnify His Holy Name as He is Worthy to be Praised and Adored; there is None like Him.

Thank You Almighty God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we Worship – Amen.

Glory be to God in the Highest Amen.
Glory be to God in the Highest Amen.
For His Mercy endureth Forever Amen

OPENING PRAYER

Ancient of Days, the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning, the Ending; the One who was, the One who is, the One who is to come; the Almighty God – Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Thank You for Year 2024, Thank You for seeing us through, Thank You for all the Victories, Thank You for all the Journey Mercies, Thank You for Your Protection, Thank You for Your Support, Thank You for Your Faithfulness.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

My Lord and my Saviour, by Your Grace we are in the first Sunday of the New Year.

We are Grateful that by Your Grace today that we are not in the Asylum, and we are not in the Prison. But we are here in Your Church, we are here in Your Presence and we are here to Praise You.

It is not all those People who are in Prison that are Guilty.

But in Your Own Miraculous Way, You Preserved us from all the Conspiracies of the Enemies.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Today, all we have come to do is to say Thank You – Thank You Father, Thank You Son, Thank You Holy Spirit, Thank You Blessed Trinity, Thank You Alpha, Thank You Omega, Thank You All Sufficient God, Thank You our Saviour, Thank You our Healer, Thank You our Deliverer, Thank You our Provider, Thank You our Preserver Thank You our Promoter and Thank You our All in All.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

All I am asking Lord God this Morning for all Your Children who has been Faithful in the Past in the Payment of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings – This Year (2025); like never before, embarrass them with Your Blessings.

The kind of Blessings that they will say: Father, this is becoming “Too Much”; Father release unto Your Children.

And just take all the Glory again Lord.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Now, I want you to shake hands with two (2) or three (3) People and say: ‘Happy New Year’, it is going to be well with you.

And then, you may Plesse be seated.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:

16. Rejoice evermore.
17. Pray without ceasing (Because God is going to hear your Prayers this Year)
18. In every thing give Thanks: for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

… In everything, give Thanks!

If we are to talk about all the things that we should give Thanks for; we won’t leave here today!

But I want to be as brief as much as Possible because we really don’t need to be Preached to on a Day like this before we Thank God.

But some of us might need to be reminded that we should Thank God because we are alive this Morning.

If you know everything that the Enemies did Last Year (2024) to make sure that you won’t see this Year (2025); it will amaze you.

If you know how many battles that God fought for you without you knowing about it at all; it will amaze you.

But apart from that, one Major reason why we should Praise God that we are alive today is because according to Ecclesiastes 9:4, the Bible made it clear that as long as there is Life, there is Hope!

It says that: “A Living dog is better than a dead Lion”.

it doesn’t matter the situation that you may be in now, one thing is Clear: Because you are still Breathing, there is Hope for you.

There is no way that they can bury you when you are still Breathing.

And if they can’t Bury you then you can still give them a Surprise.

That is why in Psalm 150:6, the Bible says: “Let everything that has Breathe Praise the Lord”.

There are so many things that we take for granted:

1. And one of the most essential thing that we take for granted is Breathing – The Ability to breathe in and breathe out easily.

And if you want to know the importance of the Ability to breathe, I want you to remember what happened during the Coronavirus Epidermic.

The reason why that disease was so fearsome was that it attacks the Ability to breathe.

That is why anyone who had that attack, they begin to quickly look for Oxygen mask, Oxygen bottles etc so that the very little that he is able to take in might keep him alive.

But you Survived that.

For one reason or the other, God did not allow that to attack you!

For the Ability to breathe, shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

You remembered the Story of one Young Man:

There was this Festival of Arts in Kaduna and they were returning and their bus had an Accident and several People died.

But there was this Young Man – He didn’t die but was so badly injured that he went into a coma. And for days in the Hospital, he was in a coma.

Once in a while, he will come up and say: Jesus. And then, he will relapse again – First day, Second day, Fifth day and so on and so forth.

The Doctors saw that this is Practically a Hopeless Case; but they couldn’t bury him because he was still Breathing.

And then one day came, and he said: Jesus! And he came out of it and suddenly became Completely whole.

As long as I am still breathing, you can’t bury me.

So, all those who has written you off, all those who says to you that because certain things didn’t happen Last Year and so no Hope for you – They are in for a Surprise (Amen).

So, if you believed that simply because you are still Breathing, your tomorrow is going to be alright; let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

2. Maybe some of you find it difficult to Praise God because you are not Rich or Wealthy!

You look at yourself and say all these Praise God self – You are not Wealthy, you don’t have much and somehow Last Year (2024) at least; everyday God Provided food for you to eat!

Matthew 6: 9-11 says: Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy Name and so on and so forth.

And then it says: Give us this Day, our Daily Bread.

It says: Just make sure that today, I have enough to eat. When it is tomorrow, tomorrow will become this Day.

You know, there are some People who has a lot of food and can’t eat.

And Ecclesiastes 6:2 says: If there is a Man that God has given Surplus but He didn’t give him the Ability to eat – It says that is a Great Evil.

You may not believed it but there are some very, very Rich People who has Problems when it comes to eating.

I have told you of a friend of mine who was so Wealthy that in far away in Australia when he died, he has in the Bank there two hundred and fifty six Million Dollars ($256,000,000) – In those days long ago.

But do you know that the only food that he could eat was Milk? So many things had gone wrong with the Stomach that he couldn’t eat.

And I have told you of a friend of mine – For one reason or the other, I just find myself in his House overnight and then he said that will I wait for Breakfast? And I said no Problem – At least, I want to see how Rich People eat.

And then the Cook came: Sir, what will you have for Breakfast?

Oh, what did I eat yesterday? He told him.

What about the Day before? He told him.

Finally, he agreed that he will eat Bread and Egg.

What kind of Egg! Boiled, Fried, Scrambled etc. Finally, he agreed for Boiled Egg.

How do you want the Egg Boiled? Hard Boiled? Medium Boiled? Rear Boiled? – I have never heard those kind of Language before then.

And he said Medium Rear.

Okay, how many Minutes in hot water?

Ha! Almost 30 Minutes to choose what to eat. And I was sitting down there hungry.

When finally he had finished with him, the Cook turned to me and said: Sir, what will you eat? I said everything you have.

What kind of Egg? I said any kind.

How much Egg? As much as you have.

I don’t have Money but I can eat.

Is there anybody here – You are not the Richest but when they bring you food, you can eat it. Do I hear such Person shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

3. You may not have many Clothes – Maybe you are not even able to buy a new one for Christmas but by the Grace of God, you are not Naked!

And not Naked means that you are not Crazy!

Because there are some People who has a lot of Clothes who are Crazy.

I mean take the case in Daniel Chapter 4 – Nebuchadnezzar was a King, there are all manners of Clothes in the house. But when something went wrong Upstairs, and he was walking about Naked among the animals.

And just in case you don’t know that there is a link between Nakedness and Mental Disorder.

All you need to do is to look around you – There are lots of People around you: They have a lot of Clothes but everything that the Clothes are supposed to cover, they exposed!

Am I lying or speaking the Truth!

I mean they go Practically Naked on Television and they are rejoicing – Everything that the Clothes were supposed to cover, they exposed.

But look at you – Decently Dressed. You may not have many Clothes but you are not Mad.

And I have told you the Story of a Professor.

I told you that when we were in Ilesha Grammar School in the 1950’s; there was a Mad Man by the Gate of the School.

Anytime that we really want to hear History; we buy a keg of Palm Wine and by the time he has taken a cup or two, he will say: What History do you want? British or European? From what Year to what Year? And then, he will begin until we will say alright we will come back next time.

Because he was a Professor of History in the United Kingdom and then something went wrong Upstairs.

He still remembered all History but when you ask him:

What is your name? He can’t remember.

Where is Address? He doesn’t know.

If I ask you now – What is your name? Can you remember?

If I ask you – When were you are born? Can you remember?

If I ask you – Where is your Address? Can you remember?

Then you have to shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

4. You may say that I don’t have many friends? But you have Jesus Christ!

It is only in the time of Need that you will know whether even if you have a friend or not.

Proverbs 18:24 says that there is Fellow that is a brother that is Closer to you than friends.

And if you are looking for a “True Friend”; it is the One who made a Promise in Hebrews 13:5 – He says that I will never leave you and I will never forsake you,

Oh, you don’t have many friends; have you heard the saying of the Elders that if a fire burns you and burns your child; you will take care of yourself first.

Have you seen how they used to make Announcements in the Plane – If something should go wrong in the Plane, certain things will drop from above. You grabbed one, make sure you fix it with your mouth and breathe normally.

And then they add – Those of you with children, do your own first before you take care of the Child.

I know that they mean well; but I have always wondered the way the children will feel because they are simply saying: If a matter is a matter of Life and Death, even Mama (DMC NOTES “Mama” means “Mother”) will forget the Child.

But Jesus Christ said that: “I will never leave you and I will never forsake you”.

… You have no friends? But you have Jesus!

Before I was Born Again, I had many friends – Some of them were Sailors. And when they travelled all over the world, they come back and bring all manners of Hot Drinks.

So I have many friends so that whenever they are Passing by, they will branch and they will say that we can’t pass by the house of a King without saying hello to the King. And I will entertain them.

I mean we have all manners of drinks in those days and we even create some drinks.

You know when you hear of Dry Martini (DMC NOTES: A dry Martini is a cocktail made with gin and vermouth, but with a higher proportion of gin to vermouth. The term “dry” is used to describe cocktails with a higher ratio of higher-proof alcohol to a lower-alcohol mixer)

We have our own too – Something that we created.

Then one day, I got Born Again and one Evening I heard a Sermon here at The RCCG National Headquarters Parish in Ebute Metta Lagos State Nigeria about the Dangers of Alcohol and even the greater danger of entertaining People with Alcohol.

That day we got home and every Alccoholic drinks in our house, we pour them into the Gutter.

And then my friends kept comimg – When they have come to greet the Prince and I say what will you take? We have coke or Fanta?

What kind of joke is this? You know what we drink now – Scotch on the Rocks, Four Fingers etc. Oh sorry, we don’t serve that anymore.

DMC NOTES: Scotch on the Rocks is a popular Alcoholic drink made with Scotch Whisky served over ice cubes. Scotch is a type of Whisky that is Produced in the Whisky Regions of Scotland and has specific regulations for its Production.

DMC NOTES: “Four Fingers” is named after an unfortunate accident – The 1205 Distillery Four Finger Series commemorates the literal blood, sweat, and tears that went into building this company. On September 29th 2014, our Distiller and owner, Brad, was cutting a piece of wood for a door of our Distillery and cut his hand instead. This accident resulted in him losing his pinky and the knuckle of his ring finger. Unfortunately, the Doctors were unable to save the pinky, but the circumstance resulted in a fantastic name for a Whiskey series. Let’s raise a glass of your favorite “Four Finger Whiskey” to Brad’s finger.

In less than 2 weeks, all my friends disappeared.

But now, I have Jesus – He can never leave me and He can never forsake me. Whether you liked me or not, doesn’t matter,

You have Jesus Christ even though you don’t have friends!

5. Finally, at least if you don’t want to Thank Him for anything at all, Thank Him for His Mercy!

Lamentations 3: 22-23; the Bible says that it is of the Mercy of the Lord that we are not Consumed – It is renewed every Morning.

The Bible says: Great is thy Faithfulness.

I. Do you know that you are not alive today because of your Ability or because of your Strength or because of your Wisdom or because you can Pray.

II. Do you know that you are Secured today not because you know how to drive?

Sometimes ago, it was in the Newspaper that in Ibadan (Capital City of Oyo State Nigeria), some People were sleeping in their house and there was this Trailer going from Ibadan (Capital City of Oyo State Nigeria) to Ilorin (Capital City of Kwara State Nigeria). And there was a Turn on the road and the Trailer lost Control. And the Trailer ran straight into the house.

The People were Sleeping – They were on their beds, they didn’t travel but they died on their beds.

It is not everybody who went to bed who wake up.

It is not everybody who didn’t travel who could have an Accident.

The Almighty God out of His Mercy Preserved you – You go up and down and you go about on the Streets.

If you have been reading the Newspaper, you would have read all over the world, somebody will just go crazy and drive his Vehicle into the Market and kill several People.

But here you are:

The People that wanted to kill you, God said No, this one is under the Cover of my Mercy.

Those who said that you will sleep and not wake up; God said No, this Fellow is under the Cover of my Mercy.

It is of His Mercy that we are not Consumed!

It is of His Mercy that I can see you this Morning.

It is of His Mercy that I will see you Next Year (2026).

Will Somebody help me shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

You know that the Bible tells us in Proverbs 21:31 – It says that the Horse is Prepared for the day of battle. But it says that Safety is of the Lord.

It is only those People that God decides to keep alive that will remain alive.

Occasionally, God will do something to show the world that I am Preserving this Fellow simply because of Your Mercy.

I was in a Town in America a couple of years ago – There was this thing called Hurricane.

The Hurricane was approaching a Particular Town and my children there called me to say that Hurricane is coming, help us to Pray.

And I cried to God and in a Miraculous Way, the Hurricane came close to their Town but bend upwards and then went back to the ocean.

But it came so close that it brought quite a lot of Rain so that the Streets were flooded.

There is a kind of Miracle that God can give you and Nobody can deny.

It will not be because you are a Good boy or a Good girl.

The Word of God says that it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of God that showeth Mercy.

He has been Merciful to us in the Past and He is going to be Merciful to us this Year (2025).

But will you Please Praise Him for Past Mercy?

Will you out of the very depth of your Spirit open your mouth and shout Hallelujah?

I don’t need to beg you this Morning to Praise God:

If you like Praise Him and if you like don’t Praise Hin.

If you like Complain to Him about all the things you thought that He should have done which He didn’t do – No Problem!

But if I were you, I will Praise Him beyond what I have ever Planned because:

• I am alive.
• I am not Crazy.
• I can eat. They are not begging me to Please take a little.

If you are at the RCCG January 2025 Holy Ghost Service, we sang a Song there:

Modupe, mo ri Anu gba (I Thank God because I receive Mercy)
Modupe, mo ri Anu gba (I Thank God because I receive Mercy)
To ri ki se gbogbo eniyan lori Anu gba (Because it is not everybody that receives Mercy).

Then the Song I sang earlier this Morning says:

Glory be to God in the Highest Amen
Glory be to God in the Highest Amen
For His Mercy endureth Forever Anen
For His Mercy endureth Forever Anen

So, if you like Praise Him, if you like ignore – Complain about all He didn’t do Last Year (2024) and say that I am not going to Praise you. No Problem!

But if you are a Wise Child, remember the saying of the Elders – The Child who is Grateful for what is done yesterday, will receive fresh ones.

I will Praise Him today because I know that this Year (2025); Landmark Miracles are coming my way.

If you Praise Him the way you ought to, even before this week is out, He will begin to show you Fresh Mercy!

ALTAR CALL

As for those of you who are here this Morning or reading now on the Label of DMC – And you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ.

You know that it is His Mercy that has kept you alive – Because once you are dead, there is no Repentance in the Grave.

He is aware that some of you are just fooling around – You are doing whatever you wanted.

He is aware that you have heard this Message again and again and you and you have ignored it.

But He is so Merciful that He still Preserved You till this Morning.

So, if you like and you want to Appreciate that Mercy that has kept you alive. And so, you want to really, really come to Him and Surrender your lives to Him; I will count from one (1) to seven (7) – Before I say seven (7), come and stand before the Altar. God will continually be Merciful to you.

… I’m counting now!

Those of you already Infront and those on the way, cry to Him and say: Lord, Thank You for the Mercy that Preserved me.

Now, have Mercy on me, save my Soul, forgive all my sins, become my Lord and Saviour and I will serve you for the rest of my Life.

And the rest of us, Please let us Stretch our hands to these People and Pray for them:

That the One who saved our Souls, the One who out of His Grace saved us, will have Mercy on these People and save their Souls also.

Thank You Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Lord and my Saviour, I bless Your Holy Name.

I Thank You for the Mercy that Preserved the lives of these People till this moment.

And I am asking that out of your Mercy, you will Please save their Souls today, forgive all their sins, and let Your Blood wash them Clean.

Please save their Souls and receive them into the Family of God.

Beginning from today, let them serve You.

Whenever they call on You, Please answer them by Fire.

And Uphold them to the very End.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

The rest of us – If you really believed that it is of the Mercy of God that you are where you are today; Stand on your feet and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, once again I want to say Thank You.

Oh Lord, Thank You for Life, Thank You for Provisions, Thank You for Protection, Thank You for Preservation, Thank You for Support, Thank You for Your Mercy.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

All I am asking Lord this Morning is that as Your Children begin to Praise You; and as they begin to Worship You; Please look down in Mercy and accept their Thanksgiving.

And like never before, bless them again.

Please, Lord God Almighty; in Your Kingdom, don’t let any of us be missing.

And Lord, throughout this Year (2025); let us have course to Glorify Your Name.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
