Thank you Lord!

1. Now let us lift our hands to the Most High God and bless His Holy Name. Let’s give Him Glory, let’s give Him Honour, let’s give Him Adoration. By the Grace of God we survived January. Praise Him that we are in February. Give Him Glory and Honour for all He has done since the beginning of the Year till this moment. Praise Him, He is worthy to be Praised, He is worthy to be Adored, He is worthy to be Magnified. Give Him Glory, Honour and Adorations. Praise Him. Oh yes, He is worthy to be Praised. Bless His Holy Name.

Thank you Father, thank you Almighty. In Jesus Mighty Name we worshiped – Amen!

2. On Friday night (February 2019 HGS held on 3rd of February, 2019) – You can check out the library of Discovery Media Crew for the Full Text of the Message; there was a Word of Prophesy. God said that no matter how hard the devil may try that there will be no mourning in our families this Year.

When that Word came, we didn’t know that death was trying to take our son, our brother – the Vice President of Nigeria (Prof Yemi Osinbajo) away. But God put the devil to shame.

May you please join me in giving Him Glory that there is no mourning in our family this morning. Let’s Praise Him; let’s give Him Glory; let’s Adore Him and let’s lift Him Higher and say Father thank you (3 times) Lord that we are not weeping this morning and that we are not mourning this morning.

Thank you because you are a Faithful God. We worship you, we adore you, we give you Glory, we give you Honour, we give you Adorations  because you know the end from the beginning and Oh Lord, your Words is yea and amen.

Thank you that when you speak, it is done. We bless your Holy Name (2 times). Thank you Lord that you still speak to men. Thank you that we still hear from you. Oh, what a marvelous God you are, what a wondrous God you are. Blessed (7 times) be your Holy Name. We worship and adore you. Glory be your Holy Name.

Thank you Almighty God. Be Glorified forever. In Jesus Might Name we worship – Amen.

3. Our Prayers this morning will be for everybody – Father, Mother, son and daughter. It is going to be based on one of the statements made by one of the Preachers on Friday (Talk 2 Specifically delivered by Deacon Sam Adewale – Watch out for the Full Text of the Message from the library of Discovery Media Crew). That there is one medicine that can change your “Mess” to a “Message”.

So we are going to cry to the Almighty God once again this morning and say Father, have Mercy on me, on my family, on your Church, on Nigeria; change our “Mess” to a “Message”. Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God, Lord have Mercy on fathers, mothers, sons, daughters; on me, on my family. Almighty God have Mercy on Redeemed Christian Church of God, on Nigeria have Mercy, Oh Lord on your Church all over the world … just have Mercy. Change our “Mess” to a “Message”; change our failure to success; Oh Lord change what is supposed to be our sorrow to Joy and Testimony. Keep on having Mercy Oh Lord.

Thank you Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

OPENING PRAYERS:

Father thank you, King of Kings thank you, Lord of Lords thank you, Alpha thank you, Omega thank you, the All Sufficient God thank you, the King of Glory thank you. Father accept our thanks in Jesus Name.

Oh, thank you that you have not allowed death to rejoice this morning. Thank you that we are not weeping this morning. Thank you for Victory Lord. Please accept our thanks in Jesus Name.

Almighty God for all you have done for us since the beginning of the Year thank you. For what you will do this Month thank you, for what you will do for the rest of the Year thank you. Accept our thanks in Jesus Name.

Father am committing everyone of your children all over the world to your hands this morning; have Mercy on us, have Mercy on our families, have Mercy on your Church, have Mercy on Nigeria.

As for your children who has been Faithful in the Payment of their tithes and giving of their offerings; this Month embarrassed them with your blessings. Like never before; promote your children. Let it be well with all of us and just let your Name be Glorified.

Thank you my Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

BIBLE TEXT: ISAIAH 60: 1-5

1. Arise, shine; for thy light is come and the Glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

2. For, behold the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people but the LORD shall arise upon thee and His Glory shall be seen upon thee.

3. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light and Kings to the brightness of thy rising.

4. Lift up thine eyes round about and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

5. Then thou shalt see and flow together and thine heart shall fear and be enlarged because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

… If that is for you, let your Amen be the loudest – Amen!

This morning we want to share for just for few minutes “The Carrier of His Glory”.

The Glory of God as we have learnt in the past is as Light.

Luke 2:9 says the Glory of God shone on the people.

So when you carry His Glory, it means that you are Shinning His Light.

Matthew 5: 14-16; the Lord said to His Disciples that you are the Light of the world. And let your Light so Shine that people may see your “Good Works” and Glorify your Father in Heaven.

1. So when you are a Carrier of His Glory; it means that whenever you arrives, Light arrives and darkness departs.

So may I decree to someone here today that from this moment onwards, everywhere you go; darkness will flee – Amen.

For example, in 2 Kings 2: 19-22; the Bible tells us that when Elisha arrives in Jericho; the people of Jericho came and said: sir, our town is beautiful but we have problems. We have been living under a curse and we need help. Then Elisha said that, that is no problem, I will take care of the situation. Give me a new bowl and put salt in it. He took the salt, went to the source of their river, pour the salt and made a decree – He said that from now on in this city; no more death, no more sickness and no more barrenness.

… That shall be true of our homes, it shall be true of our towns, it shall be true of our states and it shall be true of Nigeria (mention the name of your own Nation too if you are a Non-Nigerian.

2. When you carry His Glory, whenever you arrive; curses must depart. When you arrive, sickness must depart.

In Acts 9: 32-35; when Peter arrived at Aeneas’ house; all he said was Aeneas, Gos has made you whole. And immediately, this man who has been bedridden for a long time got up completely whole.

May I encourage you in the Mighty Name of Jesus that when you get home today and there is anyone in your family that is sick; command them to be well in Jesus Name – Amen.

In the same Acts 9: 36-42; the Bible says that they invited Peter to the house of Dorcas who had died. They said look, this woman was a very nice woman and very good to us. But now she is dead. He said well don’t worry yourself; Light has come and death must disappear.

I want to encourage us as I know that this may sound difficult – that from now on, anytime that you heard that somebody has just died; with all boldness based on the Word of God, command death to surrender the Victim and death will obey you in Jesus Name – Amen.

3. When you arrive, barrenness must depart.

In 2 Kings 4: 8-17; when the Shunemmite woman invited Elisha into her home and began to take care of him. One day, Elisha asked her what do you need and the woman said I don’t need anything. But they discovered that the woman was barren. And Elisha Prophesized and said nine (9) Months from now, you will have a baby boy.

We know that the woman laughed but the Words has gone out.

I love the Testimony of one of my sons. He came to us that myself and wife had been married for so long and we are trusting God for the fruit of the womb. And with all boldness and Faith in my God who can do anything, I said ok what kind of sex do you want. The husband looked at me and said you have not even prayed. I said don’t worry yourself about that. What do you want? He said he wanted a boy and I said that it is done.

For those of you who are trusting God for the fruit of the womb; today from this exalted altar I decree nine (9) Months from now; you will come rejoicing.

But there was a bigger Testimony which am sure you heard that one yourself. Husband and wife came – they probably heard about the Testimony of the Pastor.

And I said ok what do you want. The husband shouted a boy; the wife immediately said a girl. So I said no problem then we have a set of twins. Nine (9) Months later, the two (2) of them came – the husband was carrying the boy and the wife was carrying the girl.

… In the Name of the One that sent me; barrenness ends in your life today – Amen.

Now, it is important that we know that if you are a Carrier of His Glory; the Glory is not yours. You are a Carrier of “HIS” Glory – the Glory belongs to God.

And He is very jealous of His Glory. He said that He will not share His Glory with any man.

So when God begins to use you because from today He will begin using you.

I know some of you will not believe but the Words has gone out.

… This Year, you will carry His Glory – Amen.

When He begins to use you; don’t forget that the Glory is not yours – the Glory belongs to God.

That is why He chooses the “Most Unlikely People” to use. That is why He will choose a Fisherman and use his shadow to heal. That is why He will choose a Lawyer and use his handkerchief to cast out demons. That is why He will choose of all people a Mathematician and make him a Pastor.

That is the way of God because like I have told you before; if you are thinking of someone who should not be a Pastor then it should be a Mathematician.

Why? Because Mathematics and Christianity are Parallel lines. Mathematics will say if you prove it, I will believe it. Christianity says if you believe it, I will prove it. – both are Parallel Lines.

… People laughed and clapped … Let somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah.

But then the Almighty God is Sovereign – He does as it pleases Him.

Very soon, you will be hearing Testimonies of our Spiritual and Traditional fathers casting out demons, raising the dead.

You will hear the Testimonies of Market Women causing blind eyes to be opened.

Very soon, mark my words … very, very soon; while the Choirs are singing, the lame will be walking.

Have said it before that the time has come now (I Prophesy it a long time ago); by the time we come with any dead to the Church and they say that they are looking for the General Overseer; and the Ushers will ah, how long is the fellow being dead. They will say two (2) days. Ah, ah; you don’t need the General Overseer for that – “Death release this fellow!

How do I know sir that this will come to past because He has fulfilled all other Prophesies. We just saw one example from Friday to Saturday.

He has done it before.

Then He said now: ARISE, SHINE; FOR THE LIGHT HAS COME.

Lift up your hands to the Almighty  God and say: “I will Arise and I will Shine.

… So shall it be in Jesus Name – Amen.

So when the Miracles begins to happen; don’t try to take the Glory to yourself. You are not the “Miracle Worker” – it is God. You cannot raise the dead; it is the “Resurrection and the Life” that is dwelling in you that will do the raising of the dead.

When you lay your hands on the sick (I have explained this before); what He told me is that as you lay your hands; the sick will feel your hands but God will lay His own hands on your hands. The Power will flow through your hands to the sick and heal the sick.

So when the sick is healed; so to whom do you give the Glory – GOD!

… Let me hear somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Now the Glory is not yours; you are merely the “Carrier of His Glory”.

But if you are the Carrier of His Glory; you will BENEFIT.

For example; take the story in Matthew 21: 1-9. Jesus Christ wanted to ride into Jerusalem and He sent His Disciples to go and bring Him an Ass or a Donkey. They brought the donkey and He wanted to sit on the donkey and rode on it to Jerusalem. The donkey became a Carrier of His Glory.

But do you know what happened to the donkey; they covered it with human dress, they spread clothes on the floor, they spread flowers on the floor – ordinary donkey began to ride on the clothes of men. It was wearing the clothes of people of course.

It is a donkey and donkeys are not always clever.

The donkey heard people shouting Hosannah, Hosannah. It looked at himself and said when did I become so popular – Look at me of all donkeys riding on human clothes?

… When you are a Carrier of His Glory; you will benefit.

Can I give you just one more example. One of my daughter came to me years ago and said daddy when am I going to marry?

I said well, are you Shinning the Light as a child of God?

She said ok I will continue to do that. She happened to be an Accountant. So she went to a Conference of Accountants and daddy said I should Shine the Light. So she began to distribute tracts to all the Accountants; witnessing to them and of all the people there, one (1) gave his life to Jesus Christ.

Three (3) Months later, the same man came to her and said I know that am a young Christian and I don’t know about hearing from God too much but I can feel something saying to me: “You are my wife”.

… I was the one who joined them together.

You carry the Glory, you will benefit.

This Year as you begin to carry His Glory, as you begin to Witness; every Needs of yours shall be met in Jesus Name – Amen.

And then in conclusion, once you begin to carry His Glory never stop.

The moment you made up your mind that I will Shine; keep Shinning. Never, never stop. Don’t ever do anything that will cause God to say: “I withdraw my Light.”

Because in the story of the donkey that I have just told you; do you know that the moment Jesus Christ came down from the donkey, nobody remembered the donkey again. The Bible did not even tells us what happened to it. It just said that Jesus came down from the donkey, went into the Temple and we never heard about the donkey again.

That’s why you are going to pray very serious Prayers this morning. You know that I kept on asking you to cry to the Lord for Mercy.

You are going to cry to Him when it is time to pray saying anything that I will do, that will cause you to withdraw your Light from me; Almighty God please don’t let me ever do it because if He comes down from your donkey, then the donkey is finished indeed.

So if you are now here and you have not come in contact with the One whose Glory we are talking about. You have not even surrendered your life to Him; I don’t think we need to beg you – you should run and surrender your life to Jesus Christ now because He is the One who has the  Glory.

If you surrender your life to Him, He will ride you and you will become a “Carrier of His Glory”.

So if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, am going to count from one (1) to seven (7); before I say seven (7), come and stand before me. And He will save your souls and the Light of the Almighty God will begin to Shine in your life – Amen!

So if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, come very quickly now as I begin to count.

Don’t wait for anybody. You might be the only one God wants to bless here this morning and save. Just come!

Thank you those of you who are clapping; you will have something to clap about this Year. Hurry up, the Lord is waiting for you.

Thank you Father – Amen!

Now those of you who has come, let us talk to the Almighty God; ask Him to please save your soul, ask Him to wash you clean in His Blood, ask Him to become your Lord and Saviour. Tell Him I want to be a Cartier of your Glory, save me Oh Lord, wash me clean.

And the rest of us let us stretch our hands towards this our brother and sister and intercede for them. Let us say: Lord you save my soul save their own souls also. Be Merciful upon them, forgive all their sins, receive them into the family of Almighty God. Pray for them brethren.

If you want to come, come as you are not too late. Make sure you get here before I finished praying.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Saviour, we just want to say thank you – thank you for your Words and thank you for these people who has come to surrender their lives to you. Please receive them in Jesus Name, save their souls, let your Blood wash them clean, write their names in the “Book of Life”, receive them into the family of God. And from now on, anytime they call  on you, answer them by Fire. Don’t let them ever backslide. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

… Praise the Lord!

Now, I want to rejoice with those of you who has come forward. I want to Promise you that I will be praying for you. So I will need your names, address and Prayer request. And the Counsellors will attend to you in a moment. And I promise you that I will be praying for you.

But I want you to wait and join us as we pray the next prayer.

The rest of us, if you are sure the Lord will answer you today, stand and shout a big Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Lift up your voice to the Almighty God and say Father, for the rest of my life; let me carry your Glory. Open your mouth and talk to the Almighty God – Lord let me carry your Glory everywhere I go.

My Father and my God, the Ancient of Days, the Alpha and the Omega, the Unchangeable Changer, we worship you.

Thank you for last year, thank you for this year and thank you for tomorrow. Be Glorified forever oh Lord. Accept our thanks in Jesus Name.

Father, this Year; from the beginning to the ending let us have cause to sing, let us have cause to dance and let us have cause to Praise your Name. Let this Year be a year of Joy for us. Let it be a Year of “Continuous Thanksgiving” Lord.

And please Lord, all your children who has been Faithful in the payment of their tithes and giving of their offerings; this Year embarrass them with your Blessings. Silence all their Mockers. Promote them oh Lord. Take them to “Greater Heights”. And wherever they may be all over the world today (or reading); send Help to your children. At the end of everything Lord, let your Name be Glorified again.

Today, we want to Praise the Lord so it should not be a long sermon.

One of my sons was talking to us few days ago and he summarized everything in a sentenced: “Anyone who is not Grateful to God is a Great Fool”.

Is there any fool here today? If you are wise shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

BIBLE TEXT: PSALMS 116: 12-14

12. What shall I render unto the LORD for all His benefits towards me?

13. I will take the cup of Salvation and call upon the Name of the LORD.

14. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the Presence of His people.

David said: What shall I rendered unto the LORD for all of His benefits towards me? Then he said I will take the cup of Salvation and call upon the Name of the LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the Presence of His people.

You know a man’s life/ woman’s life can be divided into three (3) parts: Past Present and Future.

So today, I want you to thank God in three (3) parts: Thank God for the Past, thank God for the Present and thank God for the Future.

1. Why must I thank God for the Past?

When you get home, read Psalms 124: 1-8. It says that if the Lord has not been on our side, what shall we be saying now?

Do you know that not everyone who sleeps that wakes up? There are many people who slept last year and did not wake up? And for three hundred and sixty (365) days; you slept and you woke up.

Whether you believed it or not, there are forces of darkness holding meetings concerning you constantly. Each time you slept, they are plotting how you will not wake up but God was on your side. He gave you Victories over enemies known and unknown.

So for what God did last year; let me hear somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

2. Why must I thank God for the Present?

Psalms 150:6 says: Let everything that has breadth Praise the Lord.

Are you still breathing? Then shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Now why will God said that anyone who is breathing should Praise Him?

It is because as long as you are still breathing, there is hope for you.

The Bible says that a living dog is better than a dead lion. Once a lion is dead, it is dead. The dog that is still living can multiply.

Oh, last year I thought that I will marry but I didn’t; you are still alive and there is hope for you. I thought last year I will be promoted but there was no promotion; you are still alive there is hope for you. I thought last year that this will happened and that will happened; you are still alive. And as long as the Lord is still on the throne, there is hope for you.

So those of you who knows that you are not an “Hopeless Case” let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Some of you remembered the story of a lady: she lost her job, they stole her car and then her kitchen caught fire. And she came to Church dancing, rejoicing and everybody say of all people you are rejoicing? She said oh yes. I lost my job not my life I can still get another job. They stole my car, they didn’t steal my Salvation. My kitchen got burnt but am not going to hell.

If you are still alive today and still breathing let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

3. And then why should I thank God for the future?

See many people don’t know why they should thank God for the future because the future is unknown. We don’t know what this New Year may bring.

But the Bible says in Revelations 1:8; Jesus described Himself. He said that I am the Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning and the Ending. The One who was (that is the Past); the One who is (that is Present) and the One who is to come (that is the Future); the Almighty.

Oh, you don’t know what tomorrow may bring but if you are a Christian you have nothing to worry about because where you are going to, the Omega is waiting for you.

I have said this to you before that no human being can control your future. Your future is in the Hands of the Omega; the One who is called the Almighty.

So because the Almighty is waiting for you; in February He is there, March He is there, April He is there and all the way to December, He is there.

So I know without any doubt that your tomorrow will be alright. If you believe that shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

But then there is one other reason why you should thank God for the future. And you will find it in what David said in 1 Samuel 17:34-37. He said to King Saul that while in the past that I was taking care of the sheep of my father; the

lion came to take one of the sheep, I grab the lamb from the lion. The lion stood up to fight me, I punched him and kill him. A bear came, repeated the same thing; I punched him and kill the bear. He said that the same God who delivered me from the lion and delivered me from the bear will take care of the Goliath.

What was he saying?

The God who was Faithful last year will be Faithful in the future.

That is why am decreeing to somebody here today (or reading); it doesn’t matter what 2019 may bring, the God who saw you through 2018 will see you through.

Be grateful for the Past because the Past will take care of the Present. Be grateful for the Present because the Present is the mother of the future.

Praise God for what He has done, Praise Him for what He is doing and Praise Him for what He is yet to do.

The elders has a Proverb. It says that when you see an hunter who has just returned from a successful hunting expedition and he is beginning to offer sacrifice to the “god of the iron”; he is not doing so because of the animal  he has already hunt. He is doing so because of the animals that remains in the bush.

So if you thank God very well today for what He had already done; He will pour additional Blessings in the Year 2019.

The only fellow who could go through 2019 with fear and without hope is the one who has not gotten Jesus Christ. Because the Bible says in Colossians 1:27; “Christ in me, the Hope of Glory”.

I can guarantee to every Christian that this Year will be a Glorious Year for you.

So David asked the question: What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits unto me?

And I have just mentioned a few. You can add many others.

If you have ever visited the prison (and I do so regularly); you will discover that not everybody in the prison are criminals. Some people didn’t do anything wrong but landed there.

I have told us the story before of a young man the first time I visited Kirikiri Prison in 1975. He was on the organ playing and dancing. So I asked the elderly Pastor who took me there (Pastor Alabi of Blessed Memory); they are going to release that boy next week? Because we went on Sunday and he was about twenty five (25) years old. He said no, he is here for life!

Ah, what did he do? He said he had a little quarrel with his friend and slap the friend. The friend fell down and died. So they took him the court, charge him for murder. When everybody came to testify they were friends and its just a little misunderstanding. So they said that we won’t kill him but send him to Life Imprisonment.

Oh, I have been there. I have seen people in prison who has been in prison for 13 years for an offence that if they are found guilty of, they will serve for three (3) years but they are still awaiting trials.

You are at home, you can sleep when you want, you can go where you want to go, you can eat what you want to eat. Nobody has lied against you. You have a hand that you can wave, your eyes can still see, your mouth can still speak, your ears can still hear, your mouth can still shout Hallelujah!

What can I render? It is up to you!

But David said that I will take the “Cup of Salvation” meaning that if you are not yet saved, you will receive Salvation. If you are already saved, you will share your Salvation with others. You will share the “Cup of Salvation” by telling others that I have tasted the Lord, He is Good. So come and taste Him too.

Then he said; I will call on the Name of the Lord.

What does he mean by that?

He said I will eulogized God: I will call Him the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Ancient of Days, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Unchangeable Changer, the One who was, the One who is and the One who is to come; the One who can never failed, my friend, my Provider, my Supporter, my Defender, my All in All.

And then he said that “I will pay my Vows”.

I will give Him something to let Him know that I appreciate Him.

Nobody can decide for you what you can give God as a “Thanksgiving Offering”. It is up to you as you know how much He has done for you.

… So thank Him accordingly.

So if you are here and you are yet to give your life to Jesus; the first thing that you should do is to give Him your life as appreciation.

So if you want to give your life to Jesus, come out very quickly. We will not wait for you because the rest of us wants to Praise God.

The rest of us let us just stand up on our feet and begin to Praise the Almighty God. Begin to worship the Almighty God. Call Him His Name – King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Ancient of Days. Just go ahead to give Him Glory. Thank Him for the Past, thank Him for the Present, thank Him for the Future. He is the Rock of Ages, Rose of Sharon, the One that has a Name that is above all names.

If you want to give your life to Jesus, please come quickly and don’t wait for anybody. The Lord is calling you, let this day be your “Day of Salvation”. So I will count from 1 to 5; come and surrender your life to Jesus. That is the best Gift you can give to Him. He is the One that has kept you alive till today. He is calling on you as He loves you and so wants to save your soul. He wants you to be member of His family.

… Thank you Almighty Father. Glory be to your Holy Name. In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen!

GO PRAYS: And so Father we want to say thank you to you – thank you for your Words and thank you for these people who has come forward now. Please Lord receive them in Jesus Name. Save their souls, let your Blood wash away their sins, write their names in the Book of Life. Receive them into the family of God. And from now on, anytime they call on you answer them by Fire.

And once again am committing all your children here today (or those reading) in your hands; they are going to say thank you today. Even before the end of today give them another Miracle. On a day-by-day basis this Year (2019); Father give them Testimonies. Let them have Greater Cause to thank you in Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed – Amen.

Now those of you who has come forward I rejoice with you and I want to promise you that God helping me; from now on, I will be praying for you. So I will need your names, address and prayer request. I promise you that I will be praying for you.

The Counsellors will be attending to you in a moment but I want you to be part of the Praise others will be doing just for a few minutes.

So brethren for the next five (5) minutes for our own self, thank the Almighty God – open your mouth and thank Him – Father thank you for my yesterday, thank you for my today, thank you for my tomorrow. Thank you for my life, Health, Strength and thank you for all the benefits in my life.

… Keep on thanking Him for another four (4) minutes!
