BIBLE TEXT: 1 THESSALONIANS 5: 16-18

GENERAL PRAYERS

Shall we just lift our hands to the Almighty God and bless His Holy. Let’s go ahead and give Him all the Glory, Honour and Adoration.

Praise Him – Praise the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

Go ahead and Magnify His Holy Name as He is Worthy to be Praised and Adored; there is None like Him.

Thank You Almighty God.

In Jesus Mighty Name we Worship – Amen.

Glory be to God in the Highest Amen.
Glory be to God in the Highest Amen.
For His Mercy endureth Forever Amen

OPENING PRAYER

Ancient of Days, the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning, the Ending; the One who was, the One who is, the One who is to come; the Almighty God – Glory be to Your Holy Name.

Thank You for Year 2024, Thank You for seeing us through, Thank You for all the Victories, Thank You for all the Journey Mercies, Thank You for Your Protection, Thank You for Your Support, Thank You for Your Faithfulness.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

My Lord and my Saviour, by Your Grace we are in the first Sunday of the New Year.

We are Grateful that by Your Grace today that we are not in the Asylum, and we are not in the Prison. But we are here in Your Church, we are here in Your Presence and we are here to Praise You.

It is not all those People who are in Prison that are Guilty.

But in Your Own Miraculous Way, You Preserved us from all the Conspiracies of the Enemies.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Today, all we have come to do is to say Thank You – Thank You Father, Thank You Son, Thank You Holy Spirit, Thank You Blessed Trinity, Thank You Alpha, Thank You Omega, Thank You All Sufficient God, Thank You our Saviour, Thank You our Healer, Thank You our Deliverer, Thank You our Provider, Thank You our Preserver Thank You our Promoter and Thank You our All in All.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

All I am asking Lord God this Morning for all Your Children who has been Faithful in the Past in the Payment of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings – This Year (2025); like never before, embarrass them with Your Blessings.

The kind of Blessings that they will say: Father, this is becoming “Too Much”; Father release unto Your Children.

And just take all the Glory again Lord.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

Now, I want you to shake hands with two (2) or three (3) People and say: ‘Happy New Year’, it is going to be well with you.

And then, you may Plesse be seated.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:

16. Rejoice evermore.
17. Pray without ceasing (Because God is going to hear your Prayers this Year)
18. In every thing give Thanks: for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

… In everything, give Thanks!

If we are to talk about all the things that we should give Thanks for; we won’t leave here today!

But I want to be as brief as much as Possible because we really don’t need to be Preached to on a Day like this before we Thank God.

But some of us might need to be reminded that we should Thank God because we are alive this Morning.

If you know everything that the Enemies did Last Year (2024) to make sure that you won’t see this Year (2025); it will amaze you.

If you know how many battles that God fought for you without you knowing about it at all; it will amaze you.

But apart from that, one Major reason why we should Praise God that we are alive today is because according to Ecclesiastes 9:4, the Bible made it clear that as long as there is Life, there is Hope!

It says that: “A Living dog is better than a dead Lion”.

it doesn’t matter the situation that you may be in now, one thing is Clear: Because you are still Breathing, there is Hope for you.

There is no way that they can bury you when you are still Breathing.

And if they can’t Bury you then you can still give them a Surprise.

That is why in Psalm 150:6, the Bible says: “Let everything that has Breathe Praise the Lord”.

There are so many things that we take for granted:

1. And one of the most essential thing that we take for granted is Breathing – The Ability to breathe in and breathe out easily.

And if you want to know the importance of the Ability to breathe, I want you to remember what happened during the Coronavirus Epidermic.

The reason why that disease was so fearsome was that it attacks the Ability to breathe.

That is why anyone who had that attack, they begin to quickly look for Oxygen mask, Oxygen bottles etc so that the very little that he is able to take in might keep him alive.

But you Survived that.

For one reason or the other, God did not allow that to attack you!

For the Ability to breathe, shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

You remembered the Story of one Young Man:

There was this Festival of Arts in Kaduna and they were returning and their bus had an Accident and several People died.

But there was this Young Man – He didn’t die but was so badly injured that he went into a coma. And for days in the Hospital, he was in a coma.

Once in a while, he will come up and say: Jesus. And then, he will relapse again – First day, Second day, Fifth day and so on and so forth.

The Doctors saw that this is Practically a Hopeless Case; but they couldn’t bury him because he was still Breathing.

And then one day came, and he said: Jesus! And he came out of it and suddenly became Completely whole.

As long as I am still breathing, you can’t bury me.

So, all those who has written you off, all those who says to you that because certain things didn’t happen Last Year and so no Hope for you – They are in for a Surprise (Amen).

So, if you believed that simply because you are still Breathing, your tomorrow is going to be alright; let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

2. Maybe some of you find it difficult to Praise God because you are not Rich or Wealthy!

You look at yourself and say all these Praise God self – You are not Wealthy, you don’t have much and somehow Last Year (2024) at least; everyday God Provided food for you to eat!

Matthew 6: 9-11 says: Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy Name and so on and so forth.

And then it says: Give us this Day, our Daily Bread.

It says: Just make sure that today, I have enough to eat. When it is tomorrow, tomorrow will become this Day.

You know, there are some People who has a lot of food and can’t eat.

And Ecclesiastes 6:2 says: If there is a Man that God has given Surplus but He didn’t give him the Ability to eat – It says that is a Great Evil.

You may not believed it but there are some very, very Rich People who has Problems when it comes to eating.

I have told you of a friend of mine who was so Wealthy that in far away in Australia when he died, he has in the Bank there two hundred and fifty six Million Dollars ($256,000,000) – In those days long ago.

But do you know that the only food that he could eat was Milk? So many things had gone wrong with the Stomach that he couldn’t eat.

And I have told you of a friend of mine – For one reason or the other, I just find myself in his House overnight and then he said that will I wait for Breakfast? And I said no Problem – At least, I want to see how Rich People eat.

And then the Cook came: Sir, what will you have for Breakfast?

Oh, what did I eat yesterday? He told him.

What about the Day before? He told him.

Finally, he agreed that he will eat Bread and Egg.

What kind of Egg! Boiled, Fried, Scrambled etc. Finally, he agreed for Boiled Egg.

How do you want the Egg Boiled? Hard Boiled? Medium Boiled? Rear Boiled? – I have never heard those kind of Language before then.

And he said Medium Rear.

Okay, how many Minutes in hot water?

Ha! Almost 30 Minutes to choose what to eat. And I was sitting down there hungry.

When finally he had finished with him, the Cook turned to me and said: Sir, what will you eat? I said everything you have.

What kind of Egg? I said any kind.

How much Egg? As much as you have.

I don’t have Money but I can eat.

Is there anybody here – You are not the Richest but when they bring you food, you can eat it. Do I hear such Person shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

3. You may not have many Clothes – Maybe you are not even able to buy a new one for Christmas but by the Grace of God, you are not Naked!

And not Naked means that you are not Crazy!

Because there are some People who has a lot of Clothes who are Crazy.

I mean take the case in Daniel Chapter 4 – Nebuchadnezzar was a King, there are all manners of Clothes in the house. But when something went wrong Upstairs, and he was walking about Naked among the animals.

And just in case you don’t know that there is a link between Nakedness and Mental Disorder.

All you need to do is to look around you – There are lots of People around you: They have a lot of Clothes but everything that the Clothes are supposed to cover, they exposed!

Am I lying or speaking the Truth!

I mean they go Practically Naked on Television and they are rejoicing – Everything that the Clothes were supposed to cover, they exposed.

But look at you – Decently Dressed. You may not have many Clothes but you are not Mad.

And I have told you the Story of a Professor.

I told you that when we were in Ilesha Grammar School in the 1950’s; there was a Mad Man by the Gate of the School.

Anytime that we really want to hear History; we buy a keg of Palm Wine and by the time he has taken a cup or two, he will say: What History do you want? British or European? From what Year to what Year? And then, he will begin until we will say alright we will come back next time.

Because he was a Professor of History in the United Kingdom and then something went wrong Upstairs.

He still remembered all History but when you ask him:

What is your name? He can’t remember.

Where is Address? He doesn’t know.

If I ask you now – What is your name? Can you remember?

If I ask you – When were you are born? Can you remember?

If I ask you – Where is your Address? Can you remember?

Then you have to shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

4. You may say that I don’t have many friends? But you have Jesus Christ!

It is only in the time of Need that you will know whether even if you have a friend or not.

Proverbs 18:24 says that there is Fellow that is a brother that is Closer to you than friends.

And if you are looking for a “True Friend”; it is the One who made a Promise in Hebrews 13:5 – He says that I will never leave you and I will never forsake you,

Oh, you don’t have many friends; have you heard the saying of the Elders that if a fire burns you and burns your child; you will take care of yourself first.

Have you seen how they used to make Announcements in the Plane – If something should go wrong in the Plane, certain things will drop from above. You grabbed one, make sure you fix it with your mouth and breathe normally.

And then they add – Those of you with children, do your own first before you take care of the Child.

I know that they mean well; but I have always wondered the way the children will feel because they are simply saying: If a matter is a matter of Life and Death, even Mama (DMC NOTES “Mama” means “Mother”) will forget the Child.

But Jesus Christ said that: “I will never leave you and I will never forsake you”.

… You have no friends? But you have Jesus!

Before I was Born Again, I had many friends – Some of them were Sailors. And when they travelled all over the world, they come back and bring all manners of Hot Drinks.

So I have many friends so that whenever they are Passing by, they will branch and they will say that we can’t pass by the house of a King without saying hello to the King. And I will entertain them.

I mean we have all manners of drinks in those days and we even create some drinks.

You know when you hear of Dry Martini (DMC NOTES: A dry Martini is a cocktail made with gin and vermouth, but with a higher proportion of gin to vermouth. The term “dry” is used to describe cocktails with a higher ratio of higher-proof alcohol to a lower-alcohol mixer)

We have our own too – Something that we created.

Then one day, I got Born Again and one Evening I heard a Sermon here at The RCCG National Headquarters Parish in Ebute Metta Lagos State Nigeria about the Dangers of Alcohol and even the greater danger of entertaining People with Alcohol.

That day we got home and every Alccoholic drinks in our house, we pour them into the Gutter.

And then my friends kept comimg – When they have come to greet the Prince and I say what will you take? We have coke or Fanta?

What kind of joke is this? You know what we drink now – Scotch on the Rocks, Four Fingers etc. Oh sorry, we don’t serve that anymore.

DMC NOTES: Scotch on the Rocks is a popular Alcoholic drink made with Scotch Whisky served over ice cubes. Scotch is a type of Whisky that is Produced in the Whisky Regions of Scotland and has specific regulations for its Production.

DMC NOTES: “Four Fingers” is named after an unfortunate accident – The 1205 Distillery Four Finger Series commemorates the literal blood, sweat, and tears that went into building this company. On September 29th 2014, our Distiller and owner, Brad, was cutting a piece of wood for a door of our Distillery and cut his hand instead. This accident resulted in him losing his pinky and the knuckle of his ring finger. Unfortunately, the Doctors were unable to save the pinky, but the circumstance resulted in a fantastic name for a Whiskey series. Let’s raise a glass of your favorite “Four Finger Whiskey” to Brad’s finger.

In less than 2 weeks, all my friends disappeared.

But now, I have Jesus – He can never leave me and He can never forsake me. Whether you liked me or not, doesn’t matter,

You have Jesus Christ even though you don’t have friends!

5. Finally, at least if you don’t want to Thank Him for anything at all, Thank Him for His Mercy!

Lamentations 3: 22-23; the Bible says that it is of the Mercy of the Lord that we are not Consumed – It is renewed every Morning.

The Bible says: Great is thy Faithfulness.

I. Do you know that you are not alive today because of your Ability or because of your Strength or because of your Wisdom or because you can Pray.

II. Do you know that you are Secured today not because you know how to drive?

Sometimes ago, it was in the Newspaper that in Ibadan (Capital City of Oyo State Nigeria), some People were sleeping in their house and there was this Trailer going from Ibadan (Capital City of Oyo State Nigeria) to Ilorin (Capital City of Kwara State Nigeria). And there was a Turn on the road and the Trailer lost Control. And the Trailer ran straight into the house.

The People were Sleeping – They were on their beds, they didn’t travel but they died on their beds.

It is not everybody who went to bed who wake up.

It is not everybody who didn’t travel who could have an Accident.

The Almighty God out of His Mercy Preserved you – You go up and down and you go about on the Streets.

If you have been reading the Newspaper, you would have read all over the world, somebody will just go crazy and drive his Vehicle into the Market and kill several People.

But here you are:

The People that wanted to kill you, God said No, this one is under the Cover of my Mercy.

Those who said that you will sleep and not wake up; God said No, this Fellow is under the Cover of my Mercy.

It is of His Mercy that we are not Consumed!

It is of His Mercy that I can see you this Morning.

It is of His Mercy that I will see you Next Year (2026).

Will Somebody help me shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

You know that the Bible tells us in Proverbs 21:31 – It says that the Horse is Prepared for the day of battle. But it says that Safety is of the Lord.

It is only those People that God decides to keep alive that will remain alive.

Occasionally, God will do something to show the world that I am Preserving this Fellow simply because of Your Mercy.

I was in a Town in America a couple of years ago – There was this thing called Hurricane.

The Hurricane was approaching a Particular Town and my children there called me to say that Hurricane is coming, help us to Pray.

And I cried to God and in a Miraculous Way, the Hurricane came close to their Town but bend upwards and then went back to the ocean.

But it came so close that it brought quite a lot of Rain so that the Streets were flooded.

There is a kind of Miracle that God can give you and Nobody can deny.

It will not be because you are a Good boy or a Good girl.

The Word of God says that it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of God that showeth Mercy.

He has been Merciful to us in the Past and He is going to be Merciful to us this Year (2025).

But will you Please Praise Him for Past Mercy?

Will you out of the very depth of your Spirit open your mouth and shout Hallelujah?

I don’t need to beg you this Morning to Praise God:

If you like Praise Him and if you like don’t Praise Hin.

If you like Complain to Him about all the things you thought that He should have done which He didn’t do – No Problem!

But if I were you, I will Praise Him beyond what I have ever Planned because:

• I am alive.
• I am not Crazy.
• I can eat. They are not begging me to Please take a little.

If you are at the RCCG January 2025 Holy Ghost Service, we sang a Song there:

Modupe, mo ri Anu gba (I Thank God because I receive Mercy)
Modupe, mo ri Anu gba (I Thank God because I receive Mercy)
To ri ki se gbogbo eniyan lori Anu gba (Because it is not everybody that receives Mercy).

Then the Song I sang earlier this Morning says:

Glory be to God in the Highest Amen
Glory be to God in the Highest Amen
For His Mercy endureth Forever Anen
For His Mercy endureth Forever Anen

So, if you like Praise Him, if you like ignore – Complain about all He didn’t do Last Year (2024) and say that I am not going to Praise you. No Problem!

But if you are a Wise Child, remember the saying of the Elders – The Child who is Grateful for what is done yesterday, will receive fresh ones.

I will Praise Him today because I know that this Year (2025); Landmark Miracles are coming my way.

If you Praise Him the way you ought to, even before this week is out, He will begin to show you Fresh Mercy!

ALTAR CALL

As for those of you who are here this Morning or reading now on the Label of DMC – And you have not yet given your Life to Jesus Christ.

You know that it is His Mercy that has kept you alive – Because once you are dead, there is no Repentance in the Grave.

He is aware that some of you are just fooling around – You are doing whatever you wanted.

He is aware that you have heard this Message again and again and you and you have ignored it.

But He is so Merciful that He still Preserved You till this Morning.

So, if you like and you want to Appreciate that Mercy that has kept you alive. And so, you want to really, really come to Him and Surrender your lives to Him; I will count from one (1) to seven (7) – Before I say seven (7), come and stand before the Altar. God will continually be Merciful to you.

… I’m counting now!

Those of you already Infront and those on the way, cry to Him and say: Lord, Thank You for the Mercy that Preserved me.

Now, have Mercy on me, save my Soul, forgive all my sins, become my Lord and Saviour and I will serve you for the rest of my Life.

And the rest of us, Please let us Stretch our hands to these People and Pray for them:

That the One who saved our Souls, the One who out of His Grace saved us, will have Mercy on these People and save their Souls also.

Thank You Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

My Lord and my Saviour, I bless Your Holy Name.

I Thank You for the Mercy that Preserved the lives of these People till this moment.

And I am asking that out of your Mercy, you will Please save their Souls today, forgive all their sins, and let Your Blood wash them Clean.

Please save their Souls and receive them into the Family of God.

Beginning from today, let them serve You.

Whenever they call on You, Please answer them by Fire.

And Uphold them to the very End.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

The rest of us – If you really believed that it is of the Mercy of God that you are where you are today; Stand on your feet and shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, once again I want to say Thank You.

Oh Lord, Thank You for Life, Thank You for Provisions, Thank You for Protection, Thank You for Preservation, Thank You for Support, Thank You for Your Mercy.

Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

All I am asking Lord this Morning is that as Your Children begin to Praise You; and as they begin to Worship You; Please look down in Mercy and accept their Thanksgiving.

And like never before, bless them again.

Please, Lord God Almighty; in Your Kingdom, don’t let any of us be missing.

And Lord, throughout this Year (2025); let us have course to Glorify Your Name.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

GENERAL PRAYERS

1. Well, let’s lift our hands to the Most High God and begin to bless His Holy Name.

Let’s Worship the Great I am, the Great Physician, the One who can never fail.

Let’s bless the One who is the Resurrection and Life, the Original Surgeon – The One who can heal just by Speaking.

Let’s bless His Holy Name, give Him Glory, give Him Honour, give Him Adoration – The Almighty God, the One who can never fail.

Thank You Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Worshipped – Amen.

2. Let’s go ahead and Pray for all Medical Personnels – Doctors, Nurses, Midwives, the Paramedics.

That from this moment onwards, God will touch them and through them, He will Perform Miracles.

Let’s Pray that because of the Anointing that God will deposit in them today; People who will normally have died, as soon as they come in Contact with these People, they will live.

Let’s go ahead and Pray for them.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

OPENING PRAYER

Miracle Working God, the Great Physician, the One who never refers a case, the One who makes a Way where People think that there is no Way; we Worship You – Accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Thank You once again for January, Thank You for February, Thank You for March, Thank You for April, Thank You for May, Thank You for June, Thank You for July, Thank You for August, Thank You for September, Thank You for October and Thank You for November – Father, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

Today, we are crying to You Specifically for all the Medical Practioners – From the highest to the least.

By Your Very Special Anointing, from today onwards; anyone who come in Contact with any of these People ever, if they are Appointed unto Death, let the Appointment be Cancelled.

Let their hands becomes Healing Hands and let their Hands become Miracle Hands.

And Lord God Almighty, as these People will be taking care of Others, take care of them.

That Proverb that says: “Physician heal thyself”; don’t let it ever be applied to these People.

DMC NOTES: “Physician heal thyself” simply means: “Physician, save your own Reputation by Proving to us that what you say is true”.

Take care of them, take care of their families and let it be well with them.

In all their Hospitals and Places of work; beginning from today, on a regular basis, let there be only Shouts of Joy.

And my Father and my God, I am committing all Your Children who has been Faithful in the Payment of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings into Your Hands; this Particular Month of November, Surprise them, Embarrass them with Your Blessings.

That kind of Blessings that they will say: Lord, this is becoming “Too Much”; Father give unto them!

And I commit all Your Children who are here today and all those listening to me all over the world, Inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC into Your Hands.

Another Year is comimg:

☆ Every evil left in the Old Year, keep it away from them all.

☆ All the Blessings remaining this Year, bring it to their homes.

Let it be well with all of us and help us to serve you till the end.

Today I have been asked to speak on “Divine Wings” by the order of the Pastor In Charge here – He is the one who tells me what to Preach.

And you know that he is a Proffesor – That’s why he keeps on bringing Topics that are big.

Many times when I look at the Topic, I say: Oga, I’m an Ordinary Pastor o; this is Professorial.

He asked me to speak on: “DIVINE WINGS“.

Isaiah 40: 28-31:

28. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the Earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his Understanding. 
29. He giveth Power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth Strength. 
30. Even the Youths shall faint and be weary, and the Young Men shall utterly fall: 
31. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their Strength; they shall mount up with wings as Eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Progress in Life is made as long as you don’t Stand Still.

Of course, when I say, “As long as you don’t Stand Still”; I’m not talking of turning on your bed.

Because when you are turning on your bed, you are Moving but you are not going anywhere.

1. Even if you are Crawling, as long as you Stand Still; you make Progress.

If you don’t believe me – If it is Possible for a Child to talk, the day the Child discovered that he can crawl, Oh that Child will want to Celebrate.

Because suddenly, the Child discovered that I am free from this Mama (Meaning Mother) who is always sitting me down in one corner. And then, I will be looking at a lot of beautiful things that I can’t go to them. But now, I can move.

What do we mean by Crawling?

Crawling means making Progress very Slowly.

In Numbers 14: 33-34; the children of Israel travelled on a Journey that should have taken them forty days in forty years – That is Crawling.

Another word used for Crawling is Slothfulness – And God hates it.

God does not want you to crawl – Everything that He said about Slothfulness is not very Good at all.

Proverbs 18:9, He says that the Slothful in the world – The one who crawls in his daily activities; is a brother to a Great Waster.

In Proverbs 19:15; He calls the Slothful Someone; whether he likes it or not, is going to suffer hunger.

In Proverbs 6: 9-11; He says that if you are Slothful, you are going to end up in Poverty.

… So, you don’t want to be a Crawler!

2. But there is a way to move faster than that – And that is Walking.

And that is making Progress Steadily.

You will discovered that, that Child who started by Crawling, very soon the Child will begin to hold on to the Table to Stand.

Something in that Child tells him – Hey, there is a better way of going from one Place to another. And very soon, he begins to take the first step.

And the Child begins to walk – He will take Step 1 and Step 2 and then falls down.

When a Child falls down when he is learning to walk, the Child never cries – Watch them!

It doesn’t matter how many times he falls, he kept on Laughing – Hey, I’m getting there. Things are getting better.

And the Almighty God even recommends Walking – Infact, majority of People walked.

In Genesis 17:1; He said to Abraham: Walk thou before me and be thou Perfect.

In Proverbs 13:20; the Bible tells us that even Wise People walk – It says that if you walk with Wise People, you will become Wise.

So Walking is Good – As a matter of fact that is what many People believed to be the Best Exercise. They even said that it is better than Jogging.

I don’t know whether the Medical People here will agree or not – But the day that I learnt that Walking is better than Jogging, I said Thank God because some of us are too Old to jog but we can still walk.

3. But there is still something faster than Walking – And that is Running.

Because when you are Running, you make Progress not just Steadily but Rapidly.

In 1 Samuel 17: 45-51; the Bible says that David ran to battle.

The Word of God says that you should run with your Vision.

David ran to battle because he wanted to get to Goliath quickly so that he can kill this Goliath, cut off his head because he has been told that the Man who killed this Giant is going to become the In-Law of the King.

So he said: Is that so? Then I am going to get my Rewards quickly – He ran!

… So Running is a better or faster way of getting to your Goal than Walking.

4. But better than Runnimg is Flying – Which is where we are going.

The Shortest Distance between two Points is a Straight Line – At least we learnt that one in Secondary School.

That is why Flying is so Wonderful because you don’t have to dodge obstacles, you don’t have to turn corners, you don’t have to see a Mountain and dig through or find a way round it – You just fly above it.

But then for a Man, God didn’t give us Wings – He gave Wings to those who are supposed to fly.

But by the Grace of God, He has made arrangements that you could be carried.

The day they discovered the Aeroplane – And it was a Great Discovery.

There is a Place now you can enter into – They will sit you down, shut the door on you and give you food. And before you know what is happening, you have arrived where you are going to.

I am Praying for Someone here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – The Journey to the Goal God had Set for you will be made short (Amen).

And God said in Exodus 19:4 – He said to the Children of Israel that I brought you to Myself on Eagles’ Wings.

This is a very interesting Statement because if you asked the Scientists, they will tell you that when they are Planning to build something that can fly, they Studied the Eagle.

Look at an Aeroplane and look at the wings; it is like that of the Eagle.

God says that I have Wings that can carry you and move you very fast.

Take for Example David in 1 Samuel 16: 1-13.

When God said that He needed a new King and sent His Prophet to the House of Jesse. And the Prophet got there and saw some big boys there and said this is the King; God said No.

Another one, God said No; until the 7th one and God still said No.

So, the Man of God turned to the father and said: Are these all your Children?

The father said No, there is still one remaining but he is not fit to be a King – Check again.

The Almighty God said to the Man of God – That one is the one I am looking for.

And they brought the fellow that they said does not qualify and he became a King.

Why? God carried him.

The Man of God said that we are not sitting down until you bring him – This is an urgent matter.

I know that there is Someone here today or reading now on the Label of DMC that no one knows that you can become anything. But the God that I serve is going to pick you up and carry you over all Oppositions – Amen!

It wasn’t by Voting – If it was by Voting, David will never have won. Even his father won’t have voted for him. But God carried him.

The Bible tells us that the Almighty God can pick up a Beggar from the dunghill and keep carrying him until he begins him to sit among Kings.

When God carries you, there is Nobody who can stop you.

There are many birds in the air but there is a Limit to how far they can go.

When the Almighty God is carrying you in His Aeroplane, Clouds will make a way, Rain will make a way and all your Opponents will not even know until you have arrived.

God carried David and before you knew it, even in 1 Samuel 22: 1-2; his brothers who never thought that he can become anything, the Bible says that when trouble came and David went to the Cave called Adullam. Even all the brothers came to him and he became Captain over them.

Because once God has decided to carry you; you just keep on going.

And the beauty about God carrying you is that God never gets tired.

If it is Human Being that has been Praising you so that you feel important; one day the same People who has been shouting Hossanna will turn round and say: Crucify him.

Because if it is Human Beings that are carrying you, one day, they will drop you.

But when God is carrying you, the Bible tells me that His Arms are Everlasting – He just keep on taking you Higher and Higher and Higher.

That’s why I’m telling you to stop Praying against your Enemies – Just Pray that God will have Mercy on them!

Because if God is carrying you, anybody who is opposing you or speaking evil against you; they are just wasting their time – As you just keep on Soaring!

Remember that the One who is carrying you is the One who said in His Words – Thou Preparest a Table before me, where? In the Presence of mine Enemies.

You should be Prayiing for your Enemies – Ask God to be Merciful unto them.

Don’t ask God to kill them – If God kills them, who will be around to watch you when you are enjoying?

You will want them to be around to see your Glory!

And I’m telling you that if God is carrying you; He will move you from Glory to Glory!

When People are envious of you and they begin to say all manners of evil about you; don’t let that bothered you – You have to be Great to be envied.

So, I Pray that you shall be envied – Amen!

One beautiful thing about travelling in a Plane:

Those of you who has never travelled in a Plane, your day is comimg – Amen

Let me be bold and say: One day, you will buy your own Jet – Amen.

When God is the One carrying you, He will take you to a Place you never dreamt Possible!

Let me tell you a Story:

We went to one Africa Country and I said that I want to see the President – Just a Courtesy Call.

And some People say: No, he won’t see you. Well, why don’t you just ask him?

Then they came back and said that he has agreed to see you but for just 15 Minutes – Ha, that’s good enough.

And then i got there – With little Introduction and we sat down and began to talk.

After 2 hours – And when the President is talking, you don’t interrupt. But the crowd were waiting at the Stadium – Your Excellency, your People are waiting at the Stadium?

He said: Let them wait. He said that they have People they can talk to but I don’t have.

I don’t know who is my friend and who is Pretending to be my friend only because of what they can get.

He said but I have heard about you – Let me talk to you now that you are here.

Almost 5 hours later, he released me and even saw me to the car.

On our way, I said to my wife: Who am I?

☆ Who is the son of Adeboye?

☆ Who is the son of this Man who was so Poor that Poor People call him Poor!

☆ Who is the son of this Man who came from a Village that is not even on the Map of Nigeria?

☆ And here now, the President won’t even allow me to go.

Because there is Somebody who can pick up a Beggar from the dunghill and continue to carry him higher and higher and higher.

I will see you at the Top – Amen!

Let me Conclude: God is able to carry you because He has Divine Wings.

But the Question is: “Who will He carry”?

1. The Elders (Traditiinal Rulers) will tell a Yoruba Adage that says: “It is a Child who lifts up his hands that will be carried”.

You want to carry a Child? And the Child says: Leave me alone. Then you will say: Baby, stay on the Ground.

You want Him to carry you? You have to lift up your hands in Surrender!

That’s why the Bible says in Psalms 37:5 – Commit your ways unto the Lord; trust also in Him and He will bring it to Pass.

Surrender all to Him – Lift your hands and say: “I Surrender”.

I have told you that I was a Boxer before – Before the day of Competition, you will be boasting. You will say don’t mind him, I will knock him out in two rounds. And the other one will say that I will be waiting for you, I will knock off your head.

And then, the time to fight comes – The two of you in the ring. The Judge rings the bell and all your Supporters starts Cheering

Now, you find yourself face-to-face with the fellow that you say you will knock out in two rounds.

And before you know it, he has hit you on the head – And you didn’t see that coming.

And before you know it, you hit the Ground – Ha, Ha!

After some time, you said that Wisdom is better than Strength o – This Man is about to kill me. The dog that runs today will leave to fight tomorrow.

And you raise your two hands – Saying: “I Surrender”.

From that moment onwards, he dares not touch you.

When you Surrender to the Almighty God, the devil will not dare touch you!

It is in the Bible – Submit yourself unto God, then you can resist the devil and the devil will flee.

The reason why many of us are Crawling is because we are carrying a Burden too heavy for us.

When you have a “Heavy Burden” to carry, you can’t even walk.

But there is Somebody who is called the Burden Bearer – He is the One with Wings: When He carries you, He carries your Burden for you.

When you enter the Plane, all your Burdens – Infact the heavy ones are already loaded away and the smaller ones are also hidden somewhere.

And then you sit down and begin to enjoy and fly!

2. And then He says: Trust in Him.

You know that the Problem with many of us on why we are not flying is because when God speaks, we don’t even believe Him.

When I say to you for instance that all my children will be Greater than I? Some of you don’t even believe.

One of my children looked at me and said: Daddy, how is that going to be Possible? I said what do you mean?

He said we know how many days you Fast in the Year. Any of us who wants to be Greater than you will almost Fast himself to death.

I said don’t remove God from the Equation – You don’t need to know how He will do it.

I have told you before and I am telling you now – Your brain is too small to understand God.

Whether you believed it or not, it will take you 1,000 years to Study all there is to know about Mathematics.

I can only boast about my PhD in Mathematics when I’m talking to People who don’t know anything about Mathematics.

When I am in the Presence of Fellow Mathematicians, they will say:

☆ Okay, what area of Mathematics? Oh I say Applied Mathematics.

☆ Okay, what Part of Apllied Mathematics? I will say: Hydrodynamics!

☆ What Part of Hydrodynamics? Oh well 3-Dimensional Motion.

☆ Whatt aspect of 3-Dimensional Motion? Navier-Stoke Equation.

By the time I tell you where I got the PhD from, you will see that I am only Specialised in a Pin out of Mathematics

And now, you want to use that little brain to Understand Somebody who knows all Mathematics, all Physics, all Chemistry, all Biology.

Who are you compared to the Almighty?

When He decides to carry you, why not just relax and let Him do the Carrying!

I will tell you one more Story and then we Close:

The Story happened here on December 31st one year

And the Word of God just came that there is Somebody here who is having difficulty Paying his House Rent; in the New Year, you will be a Landlord.

Only a one Fellow said Amen that Night because Humanly speaking, how is that going to happen in Lagos? He was a Messengee and he hasn’t Paid his Rent.

The New Year came, he reported in his Place of work and greeted his Chairman – Happy New Year sir.

That one looked at him – Hey Messenger, have I given you a Christmas Present? No sir; have I given you a New Year Present? No sit,

He said okay, Lagos State Government was selling some houses, I bidded for one and I won and I don’t need it. Come and take the keys.

How can that happened if not by God?

The boy took the keys and Address – He was thinking that it will be just one little One-Bedroom flat but he got there and saw a Storey Building.

Can this be true?

But he put the keys on the door and turned it and the door opened.

He went through the house: Upstairs and Downstairs – Is this true?

The following day, he didn’t just Prostrate to greet the Chairman, he rolled to the right and left.

And the Chairman said: Hey, by the way, is there any Furniture in the house? The boy said No sir.

He said that I Change my Furniture every Christmas; I don’t even know where to put the ones of Last Year.

He called one of the Drivers – Please go and load my Furniture, take it to this boy’s house.

When we are talking about God, stop thinking how will He do it!

He has Wings:

☆ When He carries you, He carries your Burden.

☆ When He carries you, you become a Wonder.

So, how many of you will want to Surrender to Him Completely? The DMC Family Members!

So, if there is anyone of you will want to Surrender to Him Completely or who is yet to be Born Again, you are delaying your Journey.

Come and Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ and let Him begin your Journey to Destiny.

I am going to count from one (1) to five (5) – If you are not sure of your Salvation, run forward now and come and Surrender to Jesus Christ.

Those of you who are infront and those on the way, talk to Jesus Christ:

Ask Him to be Merciful unto you, ask Him to save your Soul, tell Him that you are Surrendering to Him Completely.

Ask Him to become your Lord and your Saviour.

Promise Him that from now on, you will Serve Him Completely.

Go ahead and talk to the Lord!

And the rest of us, Please let’s Stretch your hands towards these Brethren and Intercede for them:

Pray that the One who saved your Souls will save their own Souls also.

That He will wash them Clean so that with His Holy Hands, He will be able to carry them.

Intercede for them Brethren!

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You for Your Words.

I want to bless Your Name for this Wonderful People that has responded to the Altar Call.

Please Lord, receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, receive them into the Family of God and let them become True Children of the Living God.

And because they have Surrendered to You today, anytime they Call on You, answer them by Fire and let them serve You to the very end.

Thank You because I know that You are the Burden Bearer.

I am asking Lord that from now on, You will bear their Burdens.

And whenever they cry to You Father, You will answer them by Fire.

Many of them has been Crawling, many are Walking, few are Running.

But from now on, I Pray that You will begin to carry them.

Very, very soon, take them to the Top.

And when they get there, let them remain Connected to You so that even before this Month ends, they will be Sharing Mighty Testimonies.
