OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God: I am that I am; the One who never grows Old – We worship You.

We Thank You for all You have done in our lives all these Years; we Thank You in advance for what You will yet do – Please, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

We Thank You for those of us who has had Contacts upon Contacts with You; we Thank You for those of us whose Destinies You have Activated; we Thank You for those of us who You have Promoted; we Thank You for those of us that You have brought into Perfection.

My Lord and my Saviour; Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

As we continue with our Study today; let the Power in Your Words Perform Special Miracles in the lives of all of us.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Please be seated wherever you are.

As you know; we have been doing a “Mini Series” within the “Major Series”.

The “Major Series” is: “The Wonders of God” while the “Mini Series” had been on now for the Past four (4) weeks and this is the fourth (4th) week that we are talking about: “The Wonders of Divine Contact”.

Today, we want to go to Part 4.

The Bible Text that we have been using before has been: Isaiah 41: 10-13.

But today; we want to use another Bible Text to round up this discussion and it is going to be found in: Matthew 11: 28-30:

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

BRIEF RECAPS OF PART 1 TO PART 3 OF THE MINI SERIES.

In the very first (1st) Part of the Mini Series; we learnt that we are dealing with a God who is “UNLIMITED” – Unlimited in Strength; Unlimited in Power; Unlimited in Might – That is why He is called: “The Almighty”; Unlimited in Resources – That is why He is called: “The God who is More Than Enough”; Unlimited by Age et cetera, et cetera.

And that Man on the other hand is just “Ordinary Dust” of the Earth and God Himself said so: Dust thou art and to dust thou shall return.

That as far as God is concerned; He even described Man as “Ordinary Worm”.

But then we said that when there is a combination of God – The Unlimited One with this “Worm”; suddenly something Miraculously begins to happen.

… Just one (1) Contact and the Destiny of the “Worm” will become Activated.

And then we said that the Second (2nd) Contact will then lead to Promotion while the Third (3rd) Contact will lead to Perfection.

And then as you learnt Last Week (Online RCCG Sunday Service of 22nd November, 2020 in the Part 3 of the Series); we told you what will happen when you have a “Permanent Association” with Him.

That you will have “No Fear” anymore:

I. Because He said: I will Help you.

II. Because He said: I will reduce your enemies to nothing.

III. Because He Promises you that He will Uphold you.

Et cetera, et cetera!

Now the question is: Suppose I said I want to have a Permanent Relationship with God and He said He doesn’t want to have a Permanent Relationship with me. What can I do because God is Sovereign – He does as He Pleases.

As a matter of fact; Jesus Christ said: No Man can come unto Me except my Father draws him.

… Now we know the beauty – Last Week I’m sure you were all crying to God after we finished asking God: I want to be Permanently with you. I don’t want to be an Ex Champion because we talked about the Problems of being an Ex Champion Last Week.

Suppose I said that I want to be with you Lord Permanently; will He allowed me?

Well, according to the Passage that we just read; He has even thrown unto you an Invitation: Come Unto Me all ye that Labour and are heavy laden and I will give you Rest.

However, He added: Take My Yoke upon you.

So, we could be talking now: You want to be Permanently connected to Him; then consider “The Wonders of His Yokes”.

… A Wonderful Invitation: COME!

You want to be Permanently connected to Me; you are welcome!

Let me give you an opportunity to exchange certain things – Hard Labour for Joyful Working because there is a difference between: “Working and Labouring”.

God expects you to work to eat – 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says: He who will not work should not eat.

In Genesis 2:15-18; God gave Man work before He gave him a wife.

That is why when some People got angry when I told my daughters – Don’t marry a “Jobless Man” and they claimed that they know the Bible.

… He gave Adam a work – Take care of the Garden before He now said I think this fellow shi have a wife.

… You have no work; don’t look for a wife!

And I said it again now loud and clear: My daughter if somebody comes to you and you say what is your work and he said he is an “Emergency Contractor” – Just say bye bye; you don’t need to Pray about that!

Oh, I’m a Business Man; I’m always doing Contracts.

Ask him: Show me how many Contracts have you won? Let’s see from your records that you are not about to become a Leach; Preying on me.

Oh, but I want to be married – It is better to be Single than to be married to the wrong fellow.

… That is the truth of the matter and I’m talking to my daughters – Anybody who is angry about that; that is his own business as I’m not talking to you!

God expects you to work but when working becomes sweating; when it becomes Labouring then it is a curse.

Genesis 3: 17-19 – It is a curse Pronounced on Adam.

Before, he was working without sweating but God now said: You will sweat before you eat.

Exodus 1: 13-14 tells us that in Egypt; the Egyptians makes the children of Israel to Labour.

Labouring means you work like an Elephant and you eat like an Ant!

That is why you found out those who do the heaviest kind of duty are usually the least Paid – That is why they are called Labourers!

God said: Stop Labouring; Come Unto Me, you will work and you will Prosper without having to sweat.

There is a way God give you what you will do; which you must do diligently and do Joyfully and you will be blessed as a result.

He said: Come, let us exchange. Let us change from Labouring to Working.

And then He said: Hey, let us take care of your burden.

What is a Burden?

A Burden is a “Heavy Load” – A Load that is so heavy that you find it so difficult to carry and yet you can’t put it down.

It is attached to you in such a manner that you can’t dodge it!

… That is what is called a Burden!

Another word for Burden is Affliction.

An Affliction is something that is operating in your Life so as to hinder your Multiplication; something that does not make Success easy for you!

Exodus 1: 8-11; the Bible tells us that the Egyptians afflicted the children of Israel to hinder their Multiplication.

And what is a Yoke?

A Yoke is an instrument that joins two (2) animals together so that they can walk in Partnership.

So, when Jesus Christ said: Come Unto Me all ye that Labour and I will give you Rest.

He is saying: Let us put an end to your “Hard Labour” – Working like an Elephant, eating like an Ant.

Let me take away your Burden and then you have to take on My Yoke.

Genesis 26: 12-14 – Isaac sowed and reap in the same Year; an hundredfold Returns.

He is asking you to transfer your Burden to Him – The One who can bear it.

Isaiah 53: 4-5; God is called: “The Burden Bearer”.

1 Peter 5:7 says: Cast your burdens upon Him; He cares for you.

That load that is too heavy for you to carry is easy with God!

… He is carrying the whole Earth in the Palm of His Hands!

So, if He is carrying the whole Earth in the Palm of His Hands; how much is your burden that He can’t carry?

He can carry you and carry all your Problems at the same time.

But when He says that if you want this situation that I’m offering you; you have to put My Yoke upon you – He is saying: Come and become My Partner on a Permanent Basis.

2 Corinthians 6:1; the Bible says: We are workers together with Him.

He didn’t say that you won’t work; He said that we will be doing it together – We will be Workers together.

And so He is inviting you so therefore – If you want Permanent Relationship with Him, He said: No Problem, I want you to be my Partner on a Permanent Basis.

And if you do; then you will begin to enjoy Uncommon Success on a Permanent Basis.

You know Philippians 4:13 in which we refer to Last Sunday – Philippians 4:13 says: I can do ALL things.

How can I do it? – Through Christ who is supplying the Strength. You will be doing things; you will be succeeding and People will be asking how?

You will say: It is not me; it is the One who is my Partner who is working His Purpose out.

You will begin to enjoy “Uncommon Victory” and everybody will be saying how?

How can you be so Victorious?

You will say: Not me; it is my Partner who is the Lord of Host; who had never lost a War.

I mean consider just one example – 2 Samuel 6: 1-12.

It tells you about a Man who became a “Divine Partner” even by accident – His name is Obededom.

God dwelleth in his house – The two (2) of them were only together just for three (3) Months and the whole Nation heard about the Prosperity of this Man.

It wasn’t long before they Put two (2) and two (2) together and said: Ha, it is because “That Ark of Covenant of God” was in his house.

You know in John 15:5; the Almighty God said: If you abide in Me and My words abide in you; then you will bring forth much fruits. You will become My Partner, your Success will have to amaze everybody who is watching.

And He says it is because like the Original Bible Text that we read in Isaiah 41: 10-13 – He said: I will hold your hands and help you – Amen.

Personal Permanent Relationship; Divine Partnership will guaranteed Divine Help on a continuous basis.

Now, I mentioned that Last Week – I’m sure that we dealth with that in details.

But you see: What I didn’t tell you in details Last Week is that: When we are talking about Divine Help on a Permanent Basis now; it is not just helping you – It goes on to Him Carrying you!

In Exodus 19:4; He said: I will carry you on Eagle’s Wings.

I think I Preached this Sermon long time ago on Flying.

We Probably will be dealing more with Flying at the RCCG Holy Ghost Congress in December, 2020 by the Grace of God – Amen.

The advantages of Flying:

I. If you are walking; you make Progress.

II. If you are running; you make faster Progress.

III. If you are driving; you are faster still.

But then, if you are driving; you have to Slow down at corners, you have to climb Mountains et cetera et cetera.

IV. But when you are Flying; you don’t have to bend to the right, bend to the left – You go straight to your destination.

That is why when they are talking about distances and they are talking in Aeronautical Terms – They will say many things as the crow flies; as a bird will flies.

If you want to measure the distance between Lagos and Ibadan – The distance by road is different from the distance by Air because when you are travelling by Air; you don’t have anything to do with Rivers and this and that but you just go straight.

But as beautiful as flying is; ask the birds – They will tell you that after flying for a while, they will look for a tree to Perch on to rest.

And if you ask a bird to fly from here to London; that bird will have to be Pretty Strong to do that job without resting.

But when you are sitting down in a Plane; when you are being carried; you sit down, you eat, you sleep, you wake up, you arrive without sweat.

God is saying that: If you become My Partner; I will be carrying you on Eagle’s Wings.

I don’t know if you studied Matthew 14: 22-23 – I always spend some times with these stories.

It was the story where the Disciples were in the boat and there was a Storm and then it was at Night and Jesus Christ was about Passing by, walking on water.

And they were afraid and He said to them: Fear Not; it is I.

And Peter said: If it is You; bid me to come.

And He said: Come!

You know the Story and he (Peter) was walking on water towards Jesus Christ and he began to sink and he cried for help and Jesus Christ grabbed him and together, they walk into the ship.

Who was carrying who?

How did Peter now continue the journey into the boat without sinking?

He is linked now with the Burden Bearer!

He was Practically, Supernaturally carried from where he was sinking into the boat.

May I Pray for someone here today or those reading now on the Label of DMC; someone who is willing to take His (Jesus Christ) Yoke upon him or her: That from now on; the Almighty God will carry you on Eagle’s Wings – Amen.

No matter how far the journey you have to travel; you won’t even sweat at all – Amen.

However, I need to now go a step deeper because when we are closing this Mini Series – When He says: Take My Yoke upon you; there are implications for you before you accept that invitation.

1. Because He is saying: Hey, the moment you entered to this Partnership with Me; it has to be Forever – No Looking back is allowed.

To accept that invitation to come to Him; to take up the Yoke: No Looking back is allowed; No Backsliding is allowed.

In Luke 9: 61-62; He said: Once you lay your hands on the Plough; if you look back; you can’t be my Disciple. You will not be allowed to stay in the Relationship.

In Hebrew 10:38; He says: If anybody draws back; my Soul shall have no Pleasure in him.

In 2 Peter 2: 20-22; the moment you entered into this Permanent Relationship with Me; if you choose to turn back, you will be treated like a dog returning to his vomit.

2. Another implication is that from the moment you choose to accept the Invitation into a Permanent Relationship with God; your opinion will no longer matter.

… This is what I think; this is what is my opinion – No, No, No.

The moment you entered into this Partnership with Him; it is from now on: “Thy Word Oh Lord!”

Luke 5: 1-11; Peter said: I am the fisherman, I know how but: “At thy Word”.

Your Word is my Command – Whatever you ask me to do is what I will do!

It doesn’t matter whether it makes sense to me or not because as a matter of fact, Miracles don’t make sense!

Miracles disobeys all the Laws of the Scientist!

Miracles means God SUSPENDS all the Laws so that He can do what He wants to do (Note: Suspends and not Cancels).

When He asked you to do something; it will be “Yes Lord” from now on.

… So, be careful before you accept the Invitation!

I mean some of you heard this Story as I told it a long time ago:

I was invited to I think University of Maiduguri (In Borno State, Northern Part of Nigeria) several Years ago by the few Christians in that University at that time to come and Preach over a Weekend.

I went there – I have fasted, I have Prayed, I have Studied and on the first night; I Preached my heart out and then made an Altar Call and only six (6) People came forward.

If I had Preached that kind of Sermon in the South; I will expect one hundred (100) or at least twenty (20) or thirty (30) New Converts.

Six (6)? – I was very sad.

I got to my room: Lord, what did I do wrong?

And He said: You didn’t do anything wrong.

And then how come? I travelled all these way? What do I do Lord?

And He said: What I want you to do is that tomorrow, go and buy Babariga (A name of the kind of Top wear a Male Northerner in Nigeria wears as a way of their Culture).

Babariga (A name of the kind of Top wear a Male Northerner in Nigeria wears as a way of their Culture)? – What has that got to do with Winning Souls?

… Tomorrow, when you are going to Preach; that is what you are going to wear.

I woke up early in the Morning; I asked the Students there: Is there anyone here I can get Babariga (A name of the kind of Top wear a Male Northerner in Nigeria wears as a way of their Culture) from?

They said: There are tailors in town and they can sew you one within an hour.

So, I went to get one!

The following evening; I wore Babariga (A name of the kind of Top wear a Male Northerner in Nigeria wears as a way of their Culture).

As I was climbing the Altar – Because the day before I went in my suits; the Students began to shout and to clap and to rejoice because they saw me wearing Babariga (A name of the kind of Top wear a Male Northerner in Nigeria wears as a way of their Culture).

And their shouting attracted all the other Students who are outside – They want to see what is causing the excitement.

They didn’t come in – They stood outside by the Window.

I Preached in Babariga (A name of the kind of Top wear a Male Northerner in Nigeria wears as a way of their Culture); I made the Altar Call and ninety six (96) of them came in from outside.

The Almighty God said: The People who needed Salvation didn’t come in. Those who were inside were already saved that is why you got only six (6) yesterday.

I wore Babariga (A name of the kind of Top wear a Male Northerner in Nigeria wears as a way of their Culture) because His Word is my Command!

When He said to Peter: Throw the Net; Peter said – “At Thy Word”.

I know what you are asking me to do doesn’t make sense but I will do it.

Your opinion won’t matter anymore!

Why? – Because your Senior Partner knows much better!

1 Corinthians 1: 24-31 makes it clear: Every of your best Wisdom is foolishness with Him.

So, when you think that you know what to do; you need to put that one aside the moment you come into Permanent Relationship with Him.

Don’t forget that He told us clearly: His Thoughts are not our thoughts; His Ways are not our ways. As the Heaven is higher than the Earth so are His Thoughts higher than our thoughts and His Ways higher than our ways.

Never you forget what Naaman said in 2 Kings 5: 1-14.

Naaman said when Elisha told him: Go and wash in River Jordan and be clean.

He said: Ha, Ha; there are better Rivers where I’m coming from. Why can’t I wash there and be clean?

He said: I thought he will come out and lay his hands to touch my leprosy and then call on his God.

If somebody had not told him: Don’t be stupid; you have been thinking since all these Years – How far has it taken you?

When he surrendered his “I thought” to what God said; he got results

Remember: When He says: Take My Yoke upon you; He added: My Yoke is easy, My Burden is Light!

In Exodus 1:14; the Bible said: The Yokes of the Egyptians, the burden of the Egyptians were bitter, hard and rigorous.

Whereas the Yoke that He is offering you according to John 10:10 – He said: I have come so that you may have Life and have it more Abundantly.

And remember that He is asking you to come to Rest.

All these Years that we have been struggling on your own, how far have we gone?

When there is somebody who says: Come, let Me give you Peace: Peace of Mind, Peace of your Body, Peace of your Soul, Peace in the Spirit.

Why? – Because the One who is asking you to be His Partner is “The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

And He says in John 14:27; He said: When I give you Peace; it is not like the one that the world will give you; not the kind of Peace that won’t last forever.

I have always look at some Pictures, some Paintings with Headings: PEACE.

And there are quite a few that I love so much.

There was a case of a baby sleeping at the back of a mother and the mother is going through a difficult time. The child did not know anything, the child was just sleeping – Not the concern of the child.

My children don’t come to me to say: Where do you get the money to buy rice.

No; when they are hungry, they say: Daddy we are hungry.

And many at times they will even tell me what they want to eat – Noodles and they tell me the kind of Noodles.

Where you get it to buy – That is none of their business?

How much does it cost – That is none of their business?

Brother and Sister; your tomorrow is none of your business.

Your tomorrow is in the Hands of the One who is not just the Alpha but the Omega. He know the End from the Beginning!

He said: Come Unto Me; surrender to Me completely, become My Permanent Partner and you will know the meaning of Rest.

… He said that: I have come so that you can have Life more Abundantly.

Will you accept His Invitation and then you will understand: “The Wonders of a Permanent Contact” with the Almighty God.

I Pray that you will be willing to put on His Yokes today – Amen.

And from now; you will enjoy Rest – Amen.

ALTAR CALL

I know that there are some of you who has not surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ up till now because you feel that there will be Rules and Regulations.

If I give my Life to Him; He will ask me: You will no longer sin; you can no longer fornicate etc.

If you think that success is expensive; try failure.

If you think that Living Holy is expensive, consider the wages of sin.

If you think that Living Pure is costly; see what will be the outcome of Living Loose.

I’m inviting those of you who are yet to surrender to Jesus Christ; Please do so now.

I’m also appealing to those of us who says we are children of God; let your surrender to God be Complete and Total.

Accept His Invitation: Come to Him, let Him give you Rest and be willing to take His Yokes upon you.

So, if you want to surrender your Life to Him; Please bow your heads now and I will Pray with you.

He will save your Soul; He will begin to carry you as well as your burden but then you must know – No Looking back now. You must surrender and surrender absolutely.

Let Us Pray!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God once again I just want to say Thank You.

Oh Thank You for Your Words; Thank You for Revelations – Please accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.

Lord; as many that are surrendering to You for the first (1st) time today.

Please receive them, let Your Blood wash away their sins, give them a Brand New Beginning; save their Souls Oh Lord and break every Yokes of the devil from their lives.

Please Lord, the rest of us who has been hesitating as to whether we should be one hundred Percent (100%) for You; I Pray that today You will give us the Grace to surrender. Give us the Grace to take upon us Your Yokes because Your Burden is Light, Your Yokes is easy.

… Give us the Grace Lord to surrender completely and we will bless you for the rest of our lives.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Again, those of you who are surrendering your lives to Jesus Christ; get in contact with me as soon as Possible and I Promised you that I will be Praying for you.

As for those of us who are already children of God and you are still hesitating as to whether to go headlong with the Lord Jesus Christ; Please cry to Him today and ask Him to give you the Grace to be His Partner Permanently.

Tell Him: Put Your Yokes on me Lord and I’m yours and yours forever – No more Looking back.

And He will answer your Prayers in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen.

Father, we bless Your Holy Name – You are the God of Heaven and the Earth.

We Thank You because it is impossible for You to fail and we know that when we are connected to You; failure becomes impossible for us too.

Please, accept our Worship in Jesus Name.

We Thank You for what You have done in the Past Sundays and we Thank You for what You are going to do today.

Please Lord, just Glorify Your Holy Name.

As Your Word is going to go forth Lord; in the Life of everyone listening to us or reading now on the Label of DMC – Do something New, do something very, very Special.

We are continuing with the remaining Series – The Wonders of Divine Contact. The Series within the Series of The Wonders of God.

We will again read our Bible Text: Isaiah 41: 10-13

10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

We have learnt thus far that a Single Contact between God and Man can lead to activating the Destiny of that Man.

And we have also learnt that when a Man has more than one (1) Contact with God; then He is likely to move to a level that is really, really amazing.

But today, we want to look at: “The Wonders of Divine Contact – Part 3”.

We want to see what happens when you are Permanently in Contact with God?

And if the Lord tarries and with His Permission; we will then look at Part 4 next Sunday (29th November, 2020) when we will bring the Mini Series to a halt as we continue with the Major Series.

Now, everyone knows that it is not Pleasant to be an Ex this, Ex that.

I. Nobody wants to be called an Ex Rich.

When we say: “Change is Good”; you need to qualify it.

The Change you are talking about must be a Change from Bad to Good and not from Good to Bad.

And it is Possible to have been rich once and then becomes Poor – Proverbs 23:5 tells us clearly that: Riches can develop wings and fly away.

So, there can be somebody that we can say: “Used to be Rich”.

II. Nobody wants to be referred to as someone who used to be Strong.

… It is not a Pleasant Thing to be an Ex Strong.

2 Samuel 21: 15-17 tells us that David the Giant Killer, the Great Man who brought Goliath down went to war and wax faint and would have died if somebody didn’t help him.

… He has become Ex Strong!

Infact his People has to tell him: You are not going to war with us anymore – No more war!

III. It is not a Pleasant Thing to be an Ex Popular, Ex Famous.

In 1 Samuel 15: 1-30; you will see in the Story of King Saul that the way he behaved was because he didn’t want to be seen as Ex Popular.

Even when the Man of God rebuked him and told him that you have messed up, you are finished and the Man of God was going.

He said: Ha, Ha; you can’t go as the People are watching. They might not be hearing our conversations but if they see you leaving me, they will know that I’m no longer welcome in the sight of God. You must wait and worship God with me as if everything is still fine.

IV. It is a terrible thing to be an Ex Champion.

If you read Judges 16: 18-End; you will know what I’m talking about.

When Samson was Praying that his “Last Prayer”; the reason he said: Let me die with these People was because he didn’t want to keep on living as an Ex Champion.

That is why “Wise Boxers” – And there are not too many of them; will want to just retire as an “Undefeated Champion”.

… They don’t want to wait till somebody has knocked them out.

There used to be a Boxer – You find out that when they knock him out, when he losses a fight; he will say: Let’s fight again.

I have seen People that they will fight again, they will defeat him and he will say just one more time.

… Nobody wants to be an Ex Champion!

I Pray for everyone of you listening to me today or reading now on the Label of DMC; you will never be an Ex Champion – Amen.

I. So, we need “Constant Supply” so that we don’t become Ex Rich.

Philippians 4:19 says: But my God shall supply all your Needs according to His Riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.

II. We need “Constant Success”.

We don’t want to be Successful today and then failure tomorrow.

Philippians 4:13 says: I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.

III. We need to go through this as an Undefeated Champion”.

Deuteronomy 28:13 says: You shall be Above Only and not beneath.

… Champions forever!

That is what happens when you have “Permanent Contact with God.

And in the Bible Text that I read to you; you will see what a “Permanent Contact” with God Promises:

1. He said: I will hold your hands.

It is not you holding Him now. He says Holding my hands.

Like they used to tell us when I was a Younger Christian: If you say you are the one holding on to Jesus; what happens when you get tired? What happens when you fall asleep?

You will lose grips.

But if He is the One holding on to you; He neither Sleeps nor Slumber and He is never tired.

2. In this Bible Text that we read; He said: When I’m holding your hands; you have nothing to Fear.

He said: Fear Not!

He said an End can come to Fear in your Life Permanently.

You see in 1 John 4:18; the Bible says: Fear is a Tormentor.

So bad is Fear that in Proverbs 29:25; God says the fear of a Man gives snare.

… If you are afraid of a Man, you will fall into a trap.

The reason why some People run to Herbalist and Witch Doctors is because of the fear of Man.

They are looking for somebody who will Protect them from Witches and Wizards and other kinds of enemies.

As a matter of fact; Hebrews 2: 14-15; the Bible says the reason the devil is able to keep so many in bondage is because of “Fear of Death”.

But you hear David saying in Psalms 23:4: Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of death; I will fear no evil.

Why? – For thou art with me.

… I’m in Contact with You.

Fear is a terrible thing.

One of the things that made Fear so terrible according to Job 3:25; is that almost invariably that which you are afraid of will come to you.

But when you are in “Permanent Contact” with God, He said that you will have nothing to Fear; Fear will get away from you.

Romans 8:15 says: You do not have the spirit of bondage again to Fear.

“Permanent Contact” with God will guaranteed you no more Fear.

3. He says: When you are in “Permanent Contact” with God; you don’t need to be dismayed.

Dismayed means you don’t have to despair; you don’t have to lose Hope.

Why? – Because it is written in Isaiah 3:10 that: Say ye to the Righteous; it shall be well with him.

… Your tomorrow will be alright if you are connected to Him.

Colossians 1:27 says: If Christ is in you; you have the Hope of Glory.

… Not the Hope of shame, not the Hope of defeat, not the Hope of an enemy sneaking up behind you to destroy you – THE HOPE OF GLORY!

And then it went on to say Provided that we are in this “Permanent Contact”; He said: I will Strengthened you.

Now, I like that because if you read Isaiah 40: 29-31; it tells us that even Young Men will be tired, they will be weary.

No matter how Strong you think you are; when you wake up in the morning, when you have been working; when it gets to around 4 O’Clock the energy is almost gone.

That is why in most Places of work; they allow you to close around that Period because they knew that keeping you longer is going to be Counter Productive as you don’t have the energy to do much more.

But He says: They that wait upon the Lord, they that is connected to Him will just continually have their Strengths renewed.

You know that when you Plug the Water Heater to a Socket; you switch on the Power and then you drop the Water Heater in a big bucket of water.

It is the water that will boil and then evaporate but the Water Heater will just keep on getting hot and getting hot.

But if you will unplug that Water Heater from the Socket; even if it is Red Hot, by the time you Plug it out and you drop it in a bucket of water; the water will boil but very soon; the Water Heater will be cold and there will be nothing to write home about the Water Heater again unless you Plug it back to the Socket.

He said: I will Strengthen you!

And when you have Constant Supply of Strength; that is how you can have Constant Supply of Success like I mentioned earlier in Philippians. 4:13.

4. But there is one that I really, really liked.

He says: I will Uphold you.

That reminds me of what the Bible says in Micah 7:8.

He said: Rejoice not against me Oh my enemies; if I fall, I will rise again.

You know that there are People who are watching you day and night waiting for you to make a single mistake and then they feel that as soon as you make a single mistake, you are written off forever.

… No, not with God!

He said that I will Uphold you.

He said that I will even see to it that you don’t fall and if you fall; I will Pick you up; Set you on your feet again and say: March On!

Psalms 37: 23-24; He said that: The steps of a Righteous Man are ordered by God.

He said that: Though he fall, he will not be utterly cast down.

Why? – Because the Lord upholdeth him with His Hands.

I remembered when my children were very Young and we want to go and do Prayer Walk. Sometimes, some of them will say: Hey, I want to go with you.

I remembered one day in Particular; they were on Holidays and one of the boys (Very tiny fellow) but was eager to go with me anywhere I go.

Where are you going daddy?

I am going for a Walk; I will go with you and I said okay.

He has no idea how far I will be walking.

After we travelled quite a bit of distance; he looked at me; I looked back. We are far from home.

He said: How am I going to get back home?

How do you get here? – I walked he said.

When I saw that he couldn’t go further; I picked him up and carry him.

But the Lord says: I will Uphold you.

You know in Psalms 40: 1-2; He said: He brought me out of the Miry clay and set my feet upon the rock to stay. He established my goings

That is Good News for any of us who has made any mistake in the Past – The Almighty God is saying: Don’t worry; I will Pick you up, I will brush you up and we wil continue with the Journey – Amen.

5. And then He said: All your enemies, all those who are waring against you He said I will deal with them.

… I like that!

He said: I will put them to shame; I will confound them, you will look for them and you won’t even find them.

How many of us are childish enough to think that we have no enemies?

I. If you are nobody; your enemies might not be many.

II. If all you have is a third (3rd) hand bicycle and all you have is Probably two (2) Pairs of Shirts and two (2) Pairs of trousers; you don’t need a Night Guard before you sleep because what will anybody come to steal?

III. But when God begins to Promote you; when all of a sudden People you begin to beg for Second (2nd) hand clothes don’t see you anymore; when all of a sudden they begin to see that God is Promoting this fellow?

When they see that God is beginning to Promote you; enmity begins!

Many at times you will wonder: What have I done to these People?

Nothing except that God has lifted you High

… And God is going to lift you High – Amen. It is already too late for you to avoid that one.

He says that the enemies that gang up against you; He said that I will deal with them.

In Judges 15: 9-15; you will be amazed that it is the Relatives of Samson that bound him and handed him over to the Philistines.

… Enemies Within handed him over to Enemies Without!

You begin to Prosper and you will be amazed that how many of the enemies in your own home will begin to crop up.

Jesus Christ Himself said so. He said: A Man foes will be those of his households.

There are very few People who will really want it to be well with you – Very few!

But Thank God for the Almighty God; you can trust Him – He has Pleasure in your Prosperity, He has Pleasure in your Promotion, He has Pleasure in your Success.

So, when the Enemies Within handed Samson over to the Enemies Without and God intervened – Not only were the Enemies Without slaughtered and scattered; the Enemies Within themselves must have been terribly embarrassed because they thought that we have finished with this fellow; this is the fellow causing Problem – Kill him and let us have Peace.

And at the end of the day; the Young Man stood up and said: Well, let us go home, the battle is over, Thank You for binding me so fast.

In 2 Chronicles 20: 1-25; when three (3) Mighty Kings gang up against Jehoshaphat.

The Almighty God said: Don’t worry yourself; you won’t even need to fight in the battle. By the time I finished with them; you won’t even see them. The only thing you will see will be their riches changing hands.

In Isaiah 54:15 – It is one of the Passages that I love so much.

He said: Don’t worry, they will gather against you but it will not be me that will ask them to gather together but they that gathered against you will fall for your sake.

… That is the Word of God – It is forever settled

And once a while, when I Pray some very tough Prayers; some People get angry.

I always wondered: Why do you get angry?

If I say that God will destroy “Evil People” and you get angry – Are you evil?

I mean the only People who feared the Auditors are those who has something to hide.

If we ask the Almighty God to uproot every trees He has not Planted and you are angry?

Are you among one of those who has not been Planted by God?

6. And then finally He said: I will Help you.

… Isn’t that beautiful?

Because in Psalms 121: 1-2; David said: I will lift up my eyes unto the Hill; from whence cometh my Help? My Help comes from the Lord who makes Heaven and Earth.

… You can never get a better Helper than God!

He is the Only One who will Help you and who will not turn round and begin to say: Ha, so you are now a “Big Man”? You have forgotten the day that without me you cannot even have a Second (2nd) Pair of shoes – Not God!

The Bible says that: When He blesses, He does it liberally and he won’t make reference to it.

As a matter of fact; Psalms 60: 11 says: Vain is the help of Man.

He warned us not to seek for the help from Man in Isaiah 31: 1-3.

He says that: You are seeking Help from one Man.

He said: Well, when the trouble comes but you and the one who says he is helping you – You will Perish together.

There is only One Helper; who is the Almighty God!

And He is here; He is Promising that I will help.

In Conclusion; if you have found out that the Almighty is making Contacts after Contacts with you; you should rejoice, you should Praise Him. And Please, stick close to Him.

If you are with Him constantly, you can be sure that for the rest of your Life you have nothing to Fear at all.

But if you are there and you are still relying on Men for help – Man will fail you because the Man you say you are relying upon himself might not even be able to help himself.

You are trusting the help from Man, you are exposing yourself to danger – Serious danger.

I have told you the story before – Before I knew Jesus Christ, when things were happening right, left and center: I am a Young Man bought a car, built a little house, I was doing well in my career.

My Relatives came: The way you are going, we need to fortify you because there were enemies everywhere.

I agreed there were enemies everywhere. They said they want to fortify me; I said fine, let us go.

When they took me to one Strong Herbalist according to them in a town called Oshogbo in Osun State; Western Part of Nigeria.

When I got there; I looked at the fellow: Is this the man who is going to help me?

He must have noticed my disdain and so he decided to tortured me a little.

He asked me to go and bring a goat and he told me that I must not bring the goat in my car – I must lead the goat from the market to his Place.

… Lecturer, in the University oh!

The goat gave me tough time.

Thank God it was in Oshogbo in Osun State; Western Part of Nigeria; not in the University of Lagos, Lagos State, Western Part of Nigeria where I was Lecturing.

But then, I got to him and he made for me three (3) Perfect Charms:

I. He said: You tie this one under the Steering of your car and your car will never collide with anyone.

II. You put this one in the booth of your car; nobody will ever collide with your car from behind.

III. You put this one under your seat – Just in case!

What in case again?

He said: Just in case anything happens; the son of Man will just disappeared.

I put all the Charms in the car, came back to Lagos and within two (2) weeks; I had three (3) accidents.

I never had accident before.

I got angry and nobody had to tell me as I took all the Charms and threw them into the Lagoon.

Now, I have Jesus Christ; I can go anywhere. No Fear because I know that He can take care of enemies – I don’t have to fight as He will do the fighting for me.

ALTAR CALL

That is why I’m Pleading with those of you who has been listening to these Sermons every Sundays or reading now on the Label of DMC week in week out and you are still not surrendering your lives to Jesus Christ – You are risking your lives. Surrender to Him and He will take care of you for the rest of your lives.

So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; Please bow your head wherever you are and I will Pray with you so that the Almighty God who can take care of you in every areas of your Life; He will then become the One in Charge of your Life.

If you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ; will you Please bow your head wherever you are and cry unto Him and say: Take over Lord, be my Lord, be my Saviour; sin hasn’t Pay me any Good Wages. I want to be Your son, I want to be Your daughter.

Save my Soul, forgive my sin and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

Call on Him now; He will be Merciful on you as you do so.

And I will Pray for you in a moment.

Thank You Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER

My Lord and my Saviour; I want to give You all the Glory, all Honour, all Adoration again for Your Words.

And I want to Thank You especially for those who are surrendering their lives to You now.

Father, Please receive them in Jesus Name; have Mercy on them, let Your Blood wash away their sins, save their Souls Lord.

And I Pray Lord that from now on; You will receive them into the Family of God and begin to take care of them, Protect them from all evils so that for the rest of their lives, they will be doing Your Will.

And I’m asking Lord for everyone of us that by Your Special Grace has been brought into Contact with You; Please Lord let the Contact remains Permanent, let us abide with You forever.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Now, those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ; Please contact me as soon as Possible so that I can continue to Pray with you.

And those of us who has been with the Almighty God all those times; let us cry to Him that: Lord, don’t let me ever become an Ex Champion: Let me remain with You forever, let me remain with You till the very End of my Life.

Almighty God, You are Worthy to be Praised. King of kings, Lord of lords, the Unchangeable Changer – You are Worthy to be Praised.

Lord of Hosts, You are Worthy to be Praised.

We can never Thank You enough for the Victories You have given to us.

Thank You Lord God Almighty for keeping the Pandemic at check; because we believed Lord God Almighty that, but for You, the damage would have been much more.

And we trust You, Lord God Almighty that even as You have shown Mercy to us here in Nigeria for example; You will also show Mercy to the rest of the world.

… Father, Please, accept our Worship in Jesus’ Name!

Lord, even as we continue with our studies about the WONDERS of You – The ALMIGHTY GOD;

We are continuing with our Series within a SERIES, as we go to PART 2 of WONDERS OF DIVINE CONTACT.

Our Bible Text (as you would remember) is Isaiah 4:10-13

10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even those that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

In the first (1st) Part of this Mini Series within a Series – Like I told you last week, the Series we are dealing with, of course, is the “THE WONDERS OF GOD.”

But we want to discuss: THE WONDERS OF DIVINE CONTACT.

And I told you last week; it’s something so wide that we can’t finish it in one Sunday Sermon.

As matter of fact, it’s going to have more than Two (2) Parts; it will Probably be going on to four (4) Parts!

But we learnt last Sunday that the first (1st) Contact between God – The Almighty, the All Sufficient, the All Wise, the All Knowing God; Primarily, could ACTIVATE the Destiny of MAN.

We learnt last Sunday, that everybody has a Destiny. But in case of many people, the Destiny would lie dormant – Until there is a Contact between God and the Person concerned.

And we explained in details all about that!

Now, the Second (2nd) Contact between God and Man; usually leads to PROMOTION.

And then, a third (3RD) Contact would lead to PERFECTION.

1. First (1st) CONTACT ACTIVATES DESTINY;
2. Second (2nd) CONTACT Leads to PROMOTION;
3. Third (3rd) CONTACT leads to PERFECTION.

Now, you begin to wonder: “Can anything be better than that?”

Well, you will learn next Sunday that there is something called “PERMANENT CONTACT.

… And then you will see, what that one can Produce.

Now, let’s talk about the SECOND (2ND) CONTACT briefly.

Everybody knows, at least that those of us who are children of God; we are fully aware that God is the PROMOTER.

The Bible makes it clear: ‘Promotion comes from God!

And that God can Promote the most Unlikely Persons (we have learnt this in the Past).

1 Samuel 2:8 says that: God can pick up a beggar from the dunghill, and PROMOTE him, until he becomes ROYALTY.

We also know (by the time we begin to discuss the third CONTACT) – We also know our God is PERFECT.

James 1:17 tells us that: Every Good Gift and every Perfect Gift comes from God.

And this God has no variableness at all. Nothing to tamper with His PERFECTION.

As a matter of fact, in Mark 7:32-37, the Bible says “He does everything well.”

So What Happens when there is a Second (2nd) Contact between GOD and a Person?

1. Let’s take the case of Joshua as an example.

As we learnt last Sunday: Joshua had his first (1st) Direct Contact with God, when God said to Moses: “LAY YOUR HANDS ON HIM.

And then, the Second (2nd) Contact now came after Moses died in Joshua 1:1-8.

Then God TRANSFERRED a Servant, a Messenger of Moses to the Position of Head of State.

… He became the Leader of a Nation.

… Now, that is some serious Promotion!

As a matter of fact, when God told Joshua, you are taking over from Moses – He trembled.

He was so frightened, God had to repeat three (3) times: “Be Strong, and of a Good Courage.”

And I don’t blame him!

I mean, if you are a Messenger, and then all of a sudden, God tells you – “You are going to become Head of State;”

… And you know the kind of State that was, at that time!

The kind of State that even your Master found it difficult to handle – You would tremble!

2. Or take David as another example.

David had his first (1st) encounter with God – When God Poured oil on his head through Samuel. And he became King among his Brethren.

… He was Anointed King among his Brethren!

In African Parlance, we would call him “King of tomorrow.”

Because at that time, there was still King Saul on the Throne – Very, very much on the Throne.

And he was there on that Throne, for another thirteen (13) years.

But then David had a Second (2nd) Contact with God. And that is in 2 Samuel 2:4.

This time he was Anointed again as King of Judah.

Promoted now, from King among his Brethren (King at Home) to now King of Judah.

3. Or take Elisha.

He had his first encounter with God when he was Ploughing the field – A Mantle fell on him!

But then, after the little discussion between him and Elijah; Elijah Picked up his Mantle again – he didn’t leave it with him!

And then came 2 Kings 2:9-15; and the Mantle now dropped while Elijah was being taken.

It was now Picked up by Elisha, and nobody to challenge him for Picking it up!

And that very day, the one who was a Son of a Prophet, became the Father of all the Prophets.

… Because they all came and bow down to him.

The Second (2nd) Contact moved him from being one of the Sons of the Prophet to being a Prophet himself.

Let’s take just one more example, before we begin to go deeper.

4. Take Peter!

His first (1st) Contact with God came in Luke 5:1-11. He was a Fisher man; he thought he was going to be a Fisherman all the days of his life.

Then he had the First (1st) Contact with the Almighty God; and his Destiny became activated.

… He was going to be a Fisher of Men.

But then he had a Second (2nd) Divine Contact in John 21:1-17. This time around, the Lord Jesus Christ had died and He had rose from the dead.

Peter thought, hey! Let’s forget about being Fishers of Men. Let me go back to my Original Fishing.

And then, he had another Contact: and this time around, Jesus told him: ‘You won’t be just a Fisher of Men; you would be the one feeding my Flocks.

You would be the one who would feed My Lamb, you would feed my Sheep. You are the one who would be leading the People I’m leaving behind.

… Tremendous PROMOTION!

It’s like saying to a fellow who is Probably shall we call him, a Sunday School Teacher. That from now on; you are General Overseer.

… Not a small Promotion at all.

Now the question is: WHO NEEDS A SECOND (2ND) TOUCH?

Because I know that last Sunday, many of you would have Prayed hard. And I believed that my God had answered your Prayers, and had given you a Touch.

I believed many of you even had Contact with God – Maybe in your dreams or one way or the other!

WHY ASKED FOR A SECOND (2ND) TOUCH?

Because we all know there are advantages in being on Top; and disadvantages in being beneath.

I am yet to find somebody who would say No, to Promotion.

Because we all know that those who are beneath, they will drink from the water that the one on top of the Mountain had washed into.

Oh, I’m sure, we are not so naive as not to know why People who want to be our rulers come, begging us; and at times to even Pay us, to vote for them!

Because, the moment you become President (shall we say) or Governor; hey! When you want to pass, they will close the road for you.

Until you have gone, those of us who voted for you, would have to wait!

We all know, you don’t have to be told – If they say there is Power Failure; it’s not in Aso Rock (Laughing)!

If we say there is scarcity of water, it is not in Government House. You know that!

… Everybody wants the word Promotion.

And I am Praying for all of you listening to me today or reading now on the Label of DMC: Your Promotion begins right now – Amen!

… But there is much more! – Much, much more.

For example, in 2 Samuel 24:1-15, the Bible tells us that David conducted a Census against the wish of God!

God got angry; He said: “I’m going to Punish you for what you have done.”

And he told him to choose what kind of Punishment he wanted.

And he said: I would fall into the hand of God than to fall into the hands of men!

God said Fine! I know what you have chosen.

And a terrible Pestilence broke out!

The Bible says, as a result of that Pestilence; Seventy (70) Thousand People died in the land.

It would interest you to know that not even a single one died in the Palace – Not one!

… Oh, definitely it Pays to be on Top.

It is not a Pleasant thing to be at the bottom. That is why the Almighty God said: “You shall be the HEAD and not tail”.

Because you would see something very interesting in Exodus 4:1-4 – When God told Moses: “Throw down the Rod that is in your hand.” And the Rod became a serpent!

And Moses fled from the serpent; because it’s a dangerous serpent!

God told him: “Hold the serpent by the tail.”

Even a dangerous serpent can be held by the tail – not the Head.

Oh, I Pray for everyone of you listening to me today or reading now on the Label of DMC: You shall be HEAD, and you will never be tail – Amen

So we all need s Second (2nd) Touch so that we can be PROMOTED.

… God wants us to be PROMOTED!

The Good News is: There is always room at the Top.

I’m sure you have heard the statement again and again: “There’s always room at the Top.”

If you read Daniel 6:1-3; the Bible spoke about a King who had many Provinces under him. And he had a lot of Governors – Governing over these Provinces.

And then he selected three (3) out of the numerous ones, to be Supervising the hundred and twenty (120).

But he looked among the three (3) and said: I want to make one (1) the Leader of the three (3). And that fellow was Daniel.

The Almighty God can make you the BEST among the Best.

That when they gathered the Best together and they are looking for someone who would be Number one (No. 1) among the Best; Ah! may you be the one, in Jesus’ Name – Amen!

You have heard the Testimony of one of my children somewhere in the United Kingdom:

They made an Advertisement for a Particular Position. That Position was very, very lucrative and if I remembered correctly: About four thousand (4,000) People applied.

And so they began to shortlist; they shortlisted and the number came down to about four hundred (400).

And they did Interview Number One (1): And four hundred (400) came down to a hundred (100)

And they did Interviewed Number Two (No.2) – And one hundred (100) came down to Ten (10)!

And they did the Final Interview, and my son won.

… And we all shouted for Joy!

There is always room at the Top!

Oh, you may hear them say: “It’s LONELY at the Top.” – That may be true (laughing)!

But I think it is a very Good kind of loneliness.

… Lonely at the Top; yet the People at the Top don’t want to leave!

… So you need the Second (2nd) Touch for PROMOTION.

Now: WHAT ABOUT THE THIRD TOUCH?

… That one (like I said) is for PERFECTION.

Perfection is a Wonderful thing!

We would consider about one (1) or two (2) examples about what God has done;

For example in Mark 3:1-5, the Bible tells us about a man with a withered hand.

And when Jesus Christ saw this man; in spite of the anger of those who are around – They don’t want the withered hand to be healed.

Jesus asked him to stretch forth his hands; and when he stretched it forth; the Bible says it became as whole as the other.

… That means the healing did not stop half way!

Oh, I’m sure you know many People who are seriously sick; and then they went to the hospital, and the Doctors did their best and the fellow “RECOVERS”.

RECOVERS – Because they said, okay, you will not die, you will be taking the following drugs consistently.

That’s not the way my God does it! – When He heals you, He heals you COMPLETELY. PERFECTLY!

Let me give you another example; in Mark 8:22-25. The Bible says, they brought a Blind Man to Jesus Christ; and He took him by the hand.

… Now that is Contact Number one (No. 1).

He led him out – away from the crowd. And then spit on the ground, touched his eyes – Contact Number two (No. 2)!

And said: What can you see? The man lifted up his eyes and said; “I can see men walking like trees.”

… Now, that’s Promotion (laughing)!

He couldn’t see anything before; at least now he could see men walking like trees.

But God didn’t stop there; he had a third (3rd) Contact – Because He touched him again, and said: now what do you see? He said, I see PERFECTLY.

I Pray for everyone of you listening me or reading now on the Label of DMC: In any form of Ailment; may your Healing come today and may it come PERFECTLY – Amen!

Healing is Good but RECREATION is Better! – Because Recreation would give you PERFECT HEALTH.

I mean, for example, in 2 Kings 5:1-14, when the Almighty God healed Naaman; the Bible said he came out of the river the seventh (7th) time; with his skin like that of a New Born Baby – That is PERFECTION!

Or consider the case in Exodus 14:1-28. Israel had been freed from the bondage of Egypt. They got to the Red Sea and they looked back; and the fellow who had said you can go now, said: No, you are coming back!

Their deliverance was not complete until all those who could bring them back into Captivity drowned.

It is only then, they can now say: Hey, Glory be to God – we are FREE INDEED!

I’m not sure you understand what happened in Mark 5:2-19:

… You have heard me refer to this case again and again.

Because I spent quality time studying the Story of the Madman of Gadara.

… Maybe one or these days God would give me an opportunity to write a Book about him!

You know, when God cast out the demons in him, and the demons said: Alright, You have driven us out; let us go into the Swine.

God gave Permission!

And you know what followed (laughing)! The Bible said the Swine ran headlong, into the sea and drowned.

That madman of Gadara was only COMPLETELY free, when all the demons that were tormenting him were DROWNED – They drowned with the Swine!

It was only then that Jesus Christ could now say to the Madman: “Now begin as an Evangelist.”

I Pray for everyone of you listening to me today, or reading now on the Label of DMC: If there is any Evil Force or Forces, still showing interest in you, today will be their TOTAL DESTRUCTION – Amen!

PERFECTION is Essential – That is why you need the third (3rd) Touch!

And when you look at some of the cases that I have mentioned; you would see how First Touch led to something; Second Touch led to something; Third Touch led to another thing.

Let me just pick maybe about three (3) examples before we conclude today:

1. Consider Moses.

His first Contact came in Exodus 3:1-15; that was when he saw the bush burning, and the bush was not consumed.

That was when he had his First (1st) Contact with God.

And from that day onward; his Destiny became activated – He wasn’t the same, ever again!

But then, the Second (2nd) Contact that he had with God in Exodus 19:1-9 was not in a Flame of Fire; but in a Thick Cloud.

And God told him: “I am doing this – Visiting you this Second (2nd) time so that from now on: The People will believe you forever – They won’t doubt you anymore!

You are PROMOTED.

The Bible said, in Exodus 33:10-11; the People saw the Cloudy Pillar but the Lord spoke to Moses FACE TO FACE, as a man speaks to his friend.

That is PROMOTION!

I am sure, even if it is to be able to hear God clearly; if that is the reason you are going to cry to God for a Second (2nd) Touch; I think that would be worth it!

But Moses didn’t stop there!

Because he cried to God in Exodus 33:18-23. He said: God, Thank You!

We have had these two (2) Contacts; but I would like to see You! – Show me Your Glory.

Yes, we have been talking; I have been hearing Your Voice. I mean, You have been treating me as a friend. You can see me but I can’t see You!

… I want a Perfect Relationship!

You know the rest of the story!

God said: What you asked for is a very, very dangerous thing. If you see Me, you will die!

But, because we are friends now; you have been Promoted! I will put you in the cleft of a Rock, cover your face with My Hand;

And just as I Am Passing by; whilst I’m about to disappear – I will let you catch a Glimpse of my behind.

And Moses said: “Half a bread is better than nothing.”

… He saw the Glory of God!

And the Bible says in Exodus 34:29 to Chapter 35; FROM that day onwards, the face of Moses SHONE like the sun!

I mean, after that Encounter, when the People saw Moses coming, they ran because his face was no longer like the face of an ordinary man.

He had to cover his face with a veil before he could speak to the People.

In one of my childish way of thinking – I was wondering: What happened to his wife?

I mean: “My husband went out, I cant even look at his face!”

… What a wonderful kind of relationship.

And you know what?

That Third (3rd) Encounter of PERFECTION really dealt with Moses!

In Deuteronomy 34:7; the Bible tells you that at the age of one hundred and twenty (120) he didn’t need Glasses;

His eyes were as sharp as when he was born. His energy was the same like that of a very strong young man.

Surely you need a Second (2nd) Touch for Promotion; and a third (3rd) one for Perfection.

2. Lets take Elisha.

… My friend ELISHA!

He had his first Contact (like I told you before) in 1 Kings 19:19-2.

That was when his Destiny became activated.

“Sir, you are not born to be an ordinary Farmer; you are born for Greatness.”

You know the rest of the story!

And then the second (2nd) Contact came in 2 Kings 2:9-15 – When finally, he really now owned the Mantle;

… And became (as it were) the Ruler of ALL the Prophets.

He had a third (3rd) Contact (you have to search for it to find it) – And you would find it in 2 Kings 3:10-15;

Some Kings came to him, wanting direction. And one of the Kings was an Idol Worshipper – So he got ANGRY. He lost his temper!

And as he did, the Holy Spirit that had been with him, that he got during the Second (2nd) Contact, withdrew!

When he sobered down (and that’s just a lesson for those of you who talk about Righteous Indignation).

… Some of you call your Temper – Righteous Indignation!

He was Righteously Indignant; but the Holy Spirit withdrew.*

He had to call for a Minstrel – To Sing Praises to God before the Holy Spirit came back.

And he had a Third (3rd) Contact.

From that moment on, Elisha became PERFECT.

And I will Prove it to you: In 2 Kings 2:23-24.

After he had received the Double Portion of the Spirit of Elijah. And he was going; and then some children – little children began to call him “Bore headed man, get away from here!”

Ah! His temper rose – He turned, looked at them and cursed them in the Name of the Lord.

With the tremendous Power he just received, several children died that day!

But after his Third (3rd) Contact – you would never find him doing that kind of thing again.

As a matter of fact, in 2 Kings 6:8-23 – When a King sent an Army to go and arrest him because by now, his Power had become Legendary;

I mean, you want to arrest one man, and you send an Army; a man who had no weapons. You would know what that one means!

He arrested the Army; led them to enemy territory.

And when the King saw the whole Army arrested (their minds blindfolded);

And said to ELISHA: My Father, shall I kill them?

He said No o, feed them!

He had turned a long way from the man, who slaughtered children (who mocked him); to a man now who Arrested an Army and fed them.

… We are talking about Perfection now.

3. Maybe I give you the final Example – Peter.

I told you the First (1st) Contact came when he was fishing and Jesus came in. Luke 5:1-11.

And then the Second (2nd) Contact came in John 5:1-17; when he was Promoted from being a Fisher of Men to the Leader of the Flock.

And then he had a Third (3rd) Contact in Acts 2:1-4; and there was no stopping him any longer.

Because when the Holy Spirit came on him on the Day to Pentecost, Peter really, really became Peter.

One (1) Sermon – Three Thousand (3,000) Souls were saved!

No more fear of anybody. Even his Shadow now, could heal the sick.

… Now, let me conclude!

CAN I ATTAIN PERFECTION?

Oh, Psalms 138:8 says: “The LORD will Perfect that which concerns me.”

… It is written!

Perfection is meant for you; all you need to do is ask.

John 16:24, the Lord says: Ask till your Joy is Full. And that is what you are going to do today!

But before the rest of us begin to cry to God for Perfection; there are those who have not even started the journey at all.

There are those who have not even had any Contact with God at all.

But you can have one today!

You can surrender your life to Him. You can kneel at the foot of the Cross and cry to Jesus and say:

Please save my soul, transform me completely, let me have a Brand New Beginning.

ALTAR CALL

If you really mean it; if you want to say bye bye to a life of sin, He is more than ready to Receive you, to save your Soul and to give you a Brand New Beginning.

Bow your head in Prayer and cry to the Almighty God for the Salvation of your Soul.

… I will be more than willing to join you in Prayers right now.

Call on Him, Ask Him to be Merciful unto you and Please, ask Him to Please save your Soul. Promise Him that from now on, you would serve Him and you would do His Will for the rest of your life.

Oh, Thank You Father! Thank You my God.

In Jesus’ Name we have Prayed – Amen!

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYERS.

My Father and my God, I want to Thank You once again for Your Word;

And I want to Thank You for those who have heard and have decided “I want this CONTACT with God”.

You Promised Lord that: “Whoever will come unto You, You will in no wise cast out”

They have come to You now Father, Please, receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash their sins, write their names in the “Book of Life,”

And give them a Brand New Beginning and let this be the Beginning of Contact with You for them!

My Father and my God, I’m aso committing those of us who have had Contacts with You in the Past; we want a Second (2nd) Contact.

Some of us want a third (3rd) one; and some of us even want more than three (3)!

As we cry to You today Lord, God Almighty, Please, Grant our requests, Promote us Oh Lord, bring us to Perfection.

And we will Praise You for the rest of our lives;

Thank You my Father!

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

Now those of you who have given your lives to Jesus Christ, get in contact with me as soon as Possible; so that I can continue to Pray for you!

The rest of us who have had at least one Contact or the other with the Lord – Cry to Him and ask Him:

Please LORD, I want a SECOND (2ND) CONTACT for PROMOTION; I want the THIRD (3RD) CONTACT for PERFECTION.

Just go ahead and talk to Him. And I believe that God will answer your Prayers in Jesus’ Mighty Name – AMEN!
