But then he said: Bring me a New Cruse.
New Cruse means to turn over a New Leaf.
And when we say: Turn over a New Leaf; it could mean that if you have been bad, become Good.
But it has a Deeper meaning – It means that if you have been Hot and you are now Lukewarm; be Hot again.
That is a Major Lesson for The RCCG Apapa Family!
☆ Oh, God has enlarged our Coast – Glory be to God.
☆ Apapa Family is doing well Today – Glory be to God.
- But anybody who knows “The Old Apapa Family”.
- Anybody who has seen the Original House as the Bible says when it was talking about the House of God.
- When they built a New House for God and the People were Rejoicing; the Elders said that we saw the Original House – The one that Solomon built, the One that cannot be compared (DMC NOTES: Ezra 3:12).
Let me go a little bit into the Past of The RCCG Apapa Family!
☆ How come that the RCCG Apapa Family suddenly overshadowed all the other RCCG Families viz-a-viz their Relationship with the General Overseer?
☆ How come there was a Time that every Families including the Headquarters was Jealous of the Relationship between me (GO) and the RCCG Apapa Family?
I will tell you a Little bit as I won’t be able to cover it all.
The Original RCCG Apapa Family was Completely Committed to Spoiling the General Overseer – That is the only way that I can put it!
- Christmas came and they visited me at the Redemption Camp.
Daddy, we want to give you a Christmas Present.
Okay, Thank You very much – What is it that you want to do?
We want to Paint your House from Wall to Wall – You know my House then; it was just Concrete.
Thank You and they did.
- Then came New Year.
Daddy, we want to give you a New Year Present? Ha, you just gave me one.
And they bought me a Mercedes Benz 500 car (Tokunbo car – Meaning Fairly Used or Second Hand car).
Thank You!
- Some not too long after that:
Daddy you are working so hard and so you need an Holiday. We will arrange an Holiday for you and you will go on a Boat Cruise.
I have never been inside a Boat before – They organise the Original Boat Cruise.
- Then from that time onwards, they said that every Year you must go on Holidays and we will Pay for it..
Ha! Thank You o.
- Do you know that as far back as twenty three (23) Years ago (2002); the RCCG Apapa Family bought me a Brand New Royce Rolls.
I found it difficult to believe but that is true.
You say: Where is the Royce Rolls? I used it for about three (3) Years and then I sold it because I needed Money in the Ministry.
And on and on!
- I still remembered like Yesterday, my son of Bleessed Memory (DMC NOTES: Pastor Eskor Mfon – The Pioneer Pastor of RCCG City of David Parish).
He was on Hospital Bed in London and I went there to go and Pray for him.
He said: Daddy, your Annual Leave is near and I said Yes. He said where are you spending your Annual Leave this time around?
I said don’t worry about my Annual Leave this time around – Just get well.
He said that of course I will get well but your Cruise.
I said that I am not going on a Boat Cruise. And he said where are you going to and I said that I am going to Singapore.
He said: Which Airline? I said that I have already gotten the Ticket.
Who bought the Ticket? I said that Somebody did.
He said that which Hotel will you like to stay in? I said that Somebody has already Paid for the Hotel.
He said no Daddy – What happened? What are you trying to do to us?
… He was dying on Sick Bed but he was still thinking of where I will spend my Holiday.
The “Old RCCG Apaoa Family” considered it that I was doing them Evil for allowing Somebody else to buy me a Ticket!
Then he said okay, I know what I will do.
And he arranged behind my back to send Someone all the way to Singapore to carry Nigeria food so that they can take care of me Properly in Singapore.
The Fellow that they sent – She is here Today.
I don’t want to embarrass her or else I would have asked her to Stand Up.
But it wasn’t the issue of Giving and Receiving that really made the Old RCCG Apaoa Family so Special!
Because when it comes to Giving and Receiving; because they were so close to my Heart and because they worked their way into my Heart; it was a 2-Way Traffic – I love them so much and they knew it.
Let me tell you a Story to tell how much the Love is:
One of them was having his Birthday in London and he told me a Year before and I said that I will be there.
Then I was Travelling Abroad and then because of our Relationship; I decided that I will attend the Ceremony.
Then before the Service started, we were sitting in the Waiting Room and some of his friends came.
One of them looked at me and said: Ha Daddy, you are well dressed Today. And I said: Yeah, my son is Celebrating.
Then he said that I like your Tie. And I said okay, after the Service, follow me to the car so that I can give you the Tie.
He shouted for Joy!
The Second one said: I am not interested in your Tie; it is your Jacket that I want
Ha! My Jacket is not your size – He said that who is talking of size? I am looking for something I can wear anytime that I need Special Miracle from God.
I said okay, follow me to the car after the Service.
The Third one said: Daddy, you know that your shoe size is my own size. And it is your shoe that I am interested in.
I said that is okay; as soon as we finish the Service; follow me to the car.
Afterall, where the Plane was Parked, they know me so well and they will allow me to drive to the Plane.
We finished the Service and they all followed me to the car – And they all got what they requested for.
And I was saying to God – Thank You Nobody says I want your Socks.
… That is our Relationship!
That is not the kind of Relationship between a General Overseer and a Member of the Congregation!
But the RCCG Apapa Family wasn’t just a Congregation to me!
But like I said: It wasn’t just a question of Giving or Receiving – They were ready to Give and I was ready to Give as well.
But they ran with my Vision!
All I needed to do is to let them know that I want to do something and they will grab it from me and run with it.
- The first Major Program we had in Lagos was at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).
The Program entitled: “The Battle of the gods’ – The older ones here knows what I am talking about.
The moment that I said that I want to do something, they will say okay sir.
All the details about getting the Permissions and other Logistics Arrangements, the RCCG Apapa Family did it all.
- The First Holy Ghost Service we held in Abuja; they did it all.
- The First Holy Ghost Service we did in Port Harcourt; they did it all.
- The First Holy Ghost we held in London – Which they called “The Festival of Life” till Today; they did it all.
And up till Today, Festival of Life in London is still run by the Old RCCG Apapa Family.
- Will you believe it? You have heard of Lekki ’98? RCCG Apapa Family organised it all.
DMC NOTES: In 1998, while visiting the Lekki area with some foreigners, the Lord told him to hold a Service in the Beach area and that became the Historic Lekki ’98. The Theme of the Event, which shook Lagos was appropriately “Divine Visitation.” The HGS moved to the Redemption Camp the following year.
They couldn’t Financed it because it was so Big and so I raised the Money.
But they organised it – Everything including getting the Stage ready.
Because I wanted to be on Ground very early in the Morning on the Day of the Program; the Night before, I spent it in Elder Adesanya House.
… They organised it all!
If I talk of Old RCCG Apapa – The New RCCG Apapa Family is Great o but we need a New Cruse.
I have Prayed before I come here this Morning – I have Prayed that the Almighty God will give me the Grace not to cry because I know the Old RCCG Apapa Family!
I am Grateful for the New but there is a lot of difference.
Which is why God asked me to come here Today!
There are many Families in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
The First Model Parish in RCCG is in Ikeja.
It started very well – That in less than one Year, we had a Congregation of a thousand (1,000) People.
In those days, that was a Miracle!
But something happened and a Congregation of one thousand (1,000) People was reduced to fifteen (15) in one day because Somebody decided to do something.
And I cried to God:
☆ What have I done wrong?
☆ What do I do now?
And He asked me to do something:
He told me that the name “Ikeja” has something to do with a little bit of fighting.
You know that God knows all your History!
He asked me to Change the name of the RCCG Ikeja Family to “First Born Family” – Which I did.
And Today, all over the world; there is the RCCG First Born Family Members behaving like First Born!
DMC NOTES: Ikeja, which was formally called “Akeja”, was named after an Awori Ota Hunter known as Akeja Onigorun. It was originally settled by the Awori People, and the area was raided for Slaves until the Mid-19th Century. Early in the 20th Century, it became an Agricultural Hinterland for Lagos. The name “Ikeja” was not derived from a Specific Yoruba word or meaning, but rather from the Administrative convenience of the Colonial Authorities. The name “Ikeja” is an acronym, where “IK” stands for Ikorodu, “E” stands for Epe, “J” stands for Joint, and “A” stands for Administration.
The Lord has sent me here this Morning to Change your name!
From now on, you will no longer be called “Apapa Family” again but you will be called “The Favoured Family”.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS ON THE NEW FAVOURED FAMILY
When you go out; you shall be Favoured.
When you come in, you shall be Favoured.
In everything that you do, you shall find Favour.
Your Children will find Favour.
Those who Love you will find Favour.
In every facets of Life, you shall be Favoured.
In Jesus Mighty Name – Amen!
So, I have done what God asked me to come here to do!
SPECIAL ALTAR CALL TO THE NEW RCCG FAVOURED FAMILY MEMBERS
For this Altar Call, you don’t even need to leave your seat – God can see into your Heart:
I. Do you know that when the Apapa Family was just Parish (The Original Old Apapa); when I spoke about Expansion and Growth; they Planted fifteen Churches in two Weeks in Lagos.
II. Do you know that in the Old RCCG Apapa Family – And if you think that I’m lying ask Elder Adesanya and Elder (Mrs) Sola Balogun.
You could come to Church on Sunday and end up on the Mission Field – That is the Old RCCG Apapa Family.
We went on Pilgrimage to Israel for the first time – And of course, they organised it too.
We got there and suddenly in Israel, I saw an Open Door – We can start a Parish here and all that we need is a Pastor.
Do you know that one of the boys from Apapa Family said that I will stay behind and I will be the Pastor.
… He went on Pilgrimage and didn’t return because I needed Somebody to Pastor the Parish.
The moment that I think that it is time for us to go out and Spread to the world; they will say okay sir.
☆ Before I knew it, Somebody was in Australia.
☆ Before I knew it, Somebody was in Haiti.
☆ Before I knew it, Somebody was in Denmark.
I held a Meeting when the “Area Boys” were becoming a Major Nuisance in Lagos and People were saying that they should throw them into the Lagoon and kill them.
And I said: My Children, God doesn’t want the Death of a Sinner. What can we do to help them?
One of my boys who happened to be a Mobile Police Officer by name Jinadu said: Daddy, that is my area and I will handle that.
And what we used to call “Area Boys” became “Jesus Boys”.
And in case you think that I am joking; one of the “Area Boys” became our first Pastor in Norway.
That was my Old RCCG Apapa Family!
But now, we have a New Family Name “THE FAVOURED FAMILY”.
This Altar Call is for me to look for those People who will say: God helping me, I will turn over a New Leaf.
I am not asking you to come Forward – I am simply asking you to say it in your Heart and cry to the Almighty God.
Even if I am the only one who will bring back the Lost Glory; Lord I am here.
Go ahead and talk to God if you are one of such People.
Say: Lord God Almighty:
☆ I will be Hotter than I have ever been before.
☆ I will serve You like I have never served You before.
☆ I will turn over my Life to You in such a manner that You will look down from Heaven and say: At least I got this one.
Thank You Father!

FINAL FATHER’S BLESSINGS ON THE NEW RCCG FAVOURED FAMILY
And so my Father and my God; I Thank You because You are my Father and I Thank You because You have given me the Grace to be Obedient.
I Thank You for the New Things that You have started here Today.
Father, Please accept my Thanks in Jesus Name.
As Your Children has Prayed Father, so let it be.
The Grace Lord God Almighty that You will so empower them and that the whole Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) throughout the world would know that a New Family has been born, Father give unto them.
And Please, answer all their Prayers!
My Father and my God; I am going to give them few Minutes to cry unto You for something Special – Something that will be a Remarkable Miracle to mark this New Birthday.
Whatever they asked of Father, Please give unto them Today!
Very soon, let me hear Mighty Testimonies from them!
