    Let Somebody shout a Big Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

    Beloveth, as I Stand before this Exalted Altar, let me announce to you that Tonight in an Unprecedented Night.

    It is Unprecedented because it is the Anniversary of the Celebration of the Day that the Almighty God Volunteeringly came to our father-in-the-Lord and asked him what will he want as a Birthday Gift.

    His response was: For all the People that he had inherited from Papa Josiah Akindayomi in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to have a Miracle (DMC NOTES: Founder and General Superintendent of RCCG, 1952 to 1980. He died at the Age of 71 (1909 to 1980).

    And God told him – Gather them together in one Place and I will do that.

    So Tonight, you are blessed because it is an Unprecedented Night.

    But you are also blessed because it is the Night where the Unexpected can happen.

    We have in on Record and it has been Chronicled down through the Years that on this Night that has been Designated “Holy Ghost Service Night”; Miracles on every Levels has happened in the lives of those who came in here.

    And I have it on God’s Authority that Someone here Tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC is going to receive an Unprecedented and Unexpected Miracle – Amen!

    Now, the Word that has been released to our Daddy on this Unprecedented and Unexpected Miraculous Night is that it will be a Night that is Unspeakable.

    Unspeakable means that it is incapable of being expressed by words – It is indescribable and it is Precious beyond Human Vocabulary!

    So, the Question now for our Time of Giving is: “Is there a Seed that can Provoke the Unspeakable for taking Place in your Life and in my Life?”

    Solomon came to me and asked me to tell you based on 2 Chronicles 1: 1-12 – That you can sow such a Seed so that the Testimony of your Life will be declared as Unspeakable.

    2 Chronicles 1:1-12:

    1. And Solomon the son of David was Strengthened in his Kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.
    2. Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the Captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the Judges, and to every Governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers.
    3. So Solomon, and all the Congregation with him, went to the High Place that was at Gibeon; for there was the Tabernacle of the Congregation of God, which Moses the Servant of the LORD had made in the Wilderness.
    4. But the Ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to the Place which David had Prepared for it: for he had Pitched a Tent for it at Jerusalem.
    5. Moreover the brasen Altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the Tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and the Congregation sought unto it.
    6. And Solomon went up thither to the brasen Altar before the LORD, which was at the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and offered a thousand burnt Offerings upon it.
    7. In that Night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.
    8. And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed Great Mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.
    9. Now, O LORD God, let thy Promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a People like the dust of the Earth in Multitude.
    10. Give me now Wisdom and Knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this People: for who can judge this thy People, that is so Great?
    11. And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine Heart, and thou hast not asked Riches, Wealth, or Honour, nor the Life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long Life; but hast asked Wisdom and Knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my People, over whom I have made thee King:
    12. Wisdom and Knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee Riches, and Wealth, and Honour, such as none of the Kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

    So, the Question is: “What kind of Seed do I sow – Based on Solomon Example?”

    1. THE SEED MUST BE SACRIFICIAL.

    The Bible says in the same 2 Chronicles 1:6 – It says that Solomon offered this Sacrifice unto God.

    He was not compelled and it was not made Compulsory to him – He offered it.

    You and I Tonight are going to offer a Sacrifice to God.

    Why? Because the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:7 – That Gid loves a Cheerful Giver.

    So the Seed Tonight – It must be Sacrificial.

    1. THE SEED MUST BE SUBSTANTIAL.

    In the same 2 Chronicles 1:6 – It says that Solomon gave a thousand Burnt Offerings.

    And God tells you and I in 2 Corinthians 9:6 that if we sow sparingly, we will reap sparingly; but if we sow bountifully, we will reap bountifully.

    So, the Seed that you are Giving Tonight must be Sacrificial and Substantial.

    1. THE SEED MUST BE SELFLESS.

    When you look at the same 2 Chronicles 1: 8-9 – It says that when God asked Solomon what did he want? Solomon said that which you have began in my father David, finish it in me.

    What our Daddy GO did when God asked him: What do you want as a Birthday Gift?

    He said that: All the People that You have given to me by the way of Papa Josiah Akindayomi; give a Blessing to each of them.

    Can I Please tell you that your Seed Tonight has got to be Sacrificial, Substantial and Selfless!

    1. YOUR SEED MUST BE THAT, THAT MUST SINGLE YOU OUT.

    I don’t know who I have come to talk to? But Tonight, your Offerings must Single you out – Amen!

    For the Bible says concerning Solomon – There was no King like him before him; and there was no King like him after him.

    How did that make him Unspeakable?

    The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 9:6 that Queen Sheba came and say: I have heard many things about you but I did not believed what I heard until I saw it with my own eyes.

    She then said that even half of your Wisdom had not been told me as you exceed the fame I heard of.

    This means that concerning you; it is Unspeakable!

    Tonight as you Prepare your Offerings; I want you to keep it in Mind that you are going to be termed from this Night onwards as Unspeakable – Amen!

    OPENING PRAYER

    Father, Thank You for another Anniversary of the Holy Ghost Service.

    Thank You for Your Sons and Ministers and those who has gone ahead of us.

    Thank You our father-in-the-Lord and our mother-in-Lord that You have been using as Instruments up till now.

    Thank You because we know that without You, we can do absolutely Nothing.

    Thank You for eighty three (83) Hours of Praise.

    Thank You for eighty three (83) Days of Prayers.

    Thank You for all the other Avenues and other Ministrations that has been happening for this Birthday Celebrations.

    Thank You for the Team that has been working behind the Scene.

    Thank You for Your Help and Your Supports.

    Thank You for sending us Helpers

    Thank You for what You are going to do this Season.

    Thank You for what You have started to do Oh God.

    And Thank You for what You did not allow to happen.

    We give You all the Glory and Honour Almighty Father.

    We say Thank You, Thank You and Thank You.

    Be thou Exalted Almighty Father.

    In Jesus Precious Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    In Mark 9:23; Jesus Christ said to a Man that if you can believe, all things are Possible to him who believes.

    Stand on your feet and hold your Head as you want to make some Declarations with your mouth – Because all things are Possible to him who believes.

    1. As you are holding your Head, say:

    ☆ My Head, you will not loose your Crown and you will not miss your turn.

    ☆ Receive Wisdom, receive Understanding and receive Favour.

    1. Go ahead and touch your Eyes and say:

    ☆ My Eyes, you will not go Blind.

    ☆ You will receive Light – You will see the Invincible and see the Right Path.

    1. Touch your Ears and say:

    ☆ My Ears, you will not go deaf – You will hear God this Season and you will receive Clear Instructions.

    ☆ It is only Good News that you will hear.

    1. You will touch your Heart and say:

    ☆ My Heart: Receive Peace, give Peace, dwell in Peace, dwell in Love, dwell in Righteousness.

    1. Go ahead and then touch your Legs and say:

    ☆ My Legs, in this Year of Landmark, you will not step into Landmines.

    1. Then go ahead and look at your Hands and say:

    ☆ My Wonderful Hands, Nothing Good that is in you will die.

    ☆ Everything that you touch from now on; Prosper in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

    If you believe, then shout a loud Amen – Amen!

    Please, let us be seated.

    I Celebrate and Honour all the fathers and mothers in the House.

    There is a lot of Anointing on this Stage – Judging by the number of all those who has come to Celebrate our father-in-the-Lord and mother-in-Lord in this their Season of Celebration.

    Mummy GO will turn 77 years Old this Year on July 13th – That is Double Perfection.

    Our father-in-the-Lord just turned 83 years Old.

    Normally, People will say a Prayer – And the Prayer will be that: “You will live long for us”.

    But I am saying that: “You will live long for God” – Amen!

    So Mummy and Daddy, I have just one word for you – I am not in the Position to Pray for you both.

    But in Romans 8:11; it says clearly that: If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you (Which I know it does); He who raise Christ from the dead will give you Life and quicken your Mortal Body.

    Can all of us Stretch forth our hands wherever we are towards our father and mother in the Lord and say: “May that Spirit quicken every Single Part of their Bodies in the Name of Jesus” – Amen!

    I am representing the Pastor Seed Family (PSF) – Which is the Continuity for the Great Vision that RCCG has.

    And on another side, RCCG Youth Province 1.

    And on another side, Joseph’s Palace – Where Dreams become a Reality.

    Today, all my Brothers (DMC NOTES: Speakers Representing all the four Geographical Zones of Youths in Nigeria) had said all the Points that I have written down – There is almost Nothing left to say.

    But with Daddy GO as your Coach and Mentor, you should know that you can always go to another Angle and come from another end of the same Subject matter.

    Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT Translation):

    1. Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty,
    2. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD ! I will be Joyful in the God of my Salvation!

    Grab Somebody and say: I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be Joyful in the God of my Salvation.

    The definition of Joy has been given to us – That it is not Happiness.

    Happiness comes when you have gotten something New – Maybe a new Home, a new Car, or a new House.

    But after you are used to it, the Emotions fades away.

    Joy is a Constant State of being happy as my Brothers had explained earlier.

    But by thinking of several things, Joy can easily fill you:

    ☆ Being around Daddy GO will give you Joy.

    ☆ Knowing that you are going to see Mummy GO will give you Joy.

    ☆ When you come Home to the Seed’s Family will give you Joy.

    ☆ When you remember what your wife can do, has done and will do; will give you Joy.

    So we can then go to another Part – Joy does not allow you to give room to Sorrow.

    Please Note that: Whatever controls your Emotions, controls you.

    So, refuse to allow any form of issues that is not Joy to control your Emotions.

    It is recommended that a bird can fly over you but you should then not allow it to then land, Perch, or build a house rent-free on your Head.

    I will say a Prayer for Somebody that can say a “Believing Amen” today – Whatever Enemy has been living rent-free in your Head, Home or any Space that belongs to you; if you can shout a “Believing Amen”; you will order out that Enemy now in Jesus Name – Amen!

    I heard our father-in-the-Lord tells us a Story once – And I’m sure that you are wondering: A Story again?

    But let me tell you this free of Charge – Everything that we are reading from the Bible is a Testament.

    It is a Testimony by People.

    It is a Story written and Inspired by the Holy Spirit as we have in 2 Timothy 3:16 (DMC NOTES: 2 Timothy 3:16 says: All Scripture is given by Inspiration of God and is Profitable for Doctrine, for Reproof, for Correction, for Instruction in Righteousness).

    So therefore, all the Stories that he Shared works Perfectly.

    Because if you are looking through the Book of Enoch, Chapter 5 Verse 3, this might be one of the Stories that you will find inside it.

    That King David told one of the Jeweller to Please make him a Ring.

    DMC NOTES: A Jeweller is Someone that makes or sells or repairs Jewels or Jewellery or Watches.

    And he said that Ring anytime he sees it, if he is “Too Happy”, he wants to be sober and when he is sad, he wants to be Happy.

    So the Jeweller was confused as to what kind of Ring do I have to make for the King.

    So while he was moving around, he saw a little boy called Solomon Playing in the Yard.

    And Solomon saw him and said: Why are you looking so sad?

    And he said that this is what the King – The Royal Highness has told me to do.

    And Solomon already being infused with Wisdom from a very Young Age said: That is very Simple.

    All you have to do is to make a “Cheap Ring” and write on top of it: “THIS TOO SHALL PASS”.

    And then the Jeweller was like – What is this: “This too shall Pass”?

    In Galatians 6:9, it says: Let us not grow weary of doing Good, for in Due Season, we will reap if we do not give up.

    Which means that: “A Season of Dryness will also Pass”.

    In 2 Corinthians 4:17, it says that: For this momentary light affliction is Producing for us External Weight of Glory far beyond all comparison (DMC NOTES: New American Standard Bible).

    So, if you are suffering right now – This too shall Pass (Amen).

    So the Jeweller was happy and he made the Ring and then gave it to the King.

    And then because there is an Upgrade and Update; speaking to our father-in-the-Lord that maybe the Story can also be Updated and Upgraded because there is a Slight flaw to the Story in a way.

    It would have been Good if the Jeweller made two (2) Rings!

    Because:

    ☆ If I am happy, I do not want my Happiness to go.

    ☆ If I am full of Joy, I do not want my Joy to Pass.

    So, there will be two (2) Rings made:

    ☆ On one Ring – Maybe the one on the Left; it will say: “This too shall Pass”

    ☆ On the Second Ring – Maybe the one on the Right; it will say clearly: “This shall not Pass”.

    The Bible says in Romans 10:10 – It says: “With the Heart Man believes unto Righteousness and with the mouth, Confession is made unto Salvation”.

    Please jump up on your feet quickly!

    So you will use those Hands – It will be interesting to know that there is Nothing you do that you do not do with your Hands.

    ☆ We touch our Heads with our Hands.

    ☆ We touch our Eyes with our Hands.

    ☆ We touch our Ears with our Hands.

    ☆ We touch our Hearts, we touch our Legs and we even spoke straight to those Hands.

    1. So you will look at your Left Hand – That Ring: Whatever you don’t want left behind, will be on that Left Hand.

    So go ahead and say it Prophetically – Looking at that Hand that has the Ring: “This too shall Pass”.

    You will say: In the Mighty Name of Jesus

    ☆ Sickness – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Failure – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Lack in all areas – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Barrenness – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Mockers and Haters – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Emotional and Mental Problems – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Not being able to Complete Projects – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Loneliness – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Death – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Gambling Issues – You shall Pass.

    ☆ Generational Curses – You shall Pass.

    In the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!

    1. Now switch to the Right Hand – Remember that on this Hand, you have the Ring that says: “This shall not Pass”.

    So as you are looking with the same Energy and Faith, you will look at that Hand and say:

    ☆ Victory over sin – This shall not Pass.

    ☆ All-Round Prosperity – This shall not Pass.

    ☆ My Wedding this Year (2025), if I’m Single – This shall not Pass.

    ☆ Peace in my Marriage – This shall not Pass.

    ☆ Deeper Walk with God – This shall not Pass.

    ☆ My Promotion this Year (2025) – This shall not Pass.

    ☆ All the Good Prophesies in Year 2025 – This shall not Pass.

    ☆ All-Round Freedom – This shall not Pass.

    ☆ New Babies for those who are Barren and those who want Extras – This shall not Pass.

    Go ahead and call anything that you don’t want to Pass into that Ring with your own mouth – Believing God!

    ☆ The Health, the Protection, His Presence, His Greatness, a Deeper Flow, a Fresh Oil – This shall not Pass!

    ☆ That which I have been waiting for – This shall not Pass me this Year (2025).

    ☆ The Projects that I have been trying to Complete; this Year (2025) – This shall not Pass.

    Thank You Almighty God!

    Before you sit down, there is a Prayer I want you to Pray.

    PREAMBLE TO PRAYER

    The day I had my first Grandson – That day, I was drunk with Joy.

    It was in London – And if you know the situation there; you know that the Average White Man wants you to leave him alone.

    But everybody that I met from my house to the Hospital where the baby was born; I told them: “Do you know that I am now a Grandfather?”

    Everyone that I met on the way; including those who rode with me in the Lift.

    But then later on, another Grandson came and my Joy Increase

    And then, the first Granddaughter came and my Joy increased.

    SPECIAL PERSONAL PRAYER REQUEST

    I want you to cry to God this Morning and say: That kind of Joy that is always Increasing; Father Please give unto me.

    Go ahead and cry to God!

    That kind of Joy that no matter how Great it is Today, it becomes Greater Tomorrow – That kind of Joy that is always Increasing, Father Please give it unto me.

    Thank You Father.

    I want you to turn right and left – Look at the faces of the People around you.

    If you can’t see a smile on that Person’s face, smile and say that: “There is smile in the House and in the Nations”.

    Brethren, it is already too late for the devil – He can never be Successful again. He is bound forever.

    Because the Person who has brought Joy and to establish it this time around is the One who at the Increase of His Government; there is Joy forever more.

    Brethren, Thank God for Reverend Joe Olaiya (DMC NOTES: Speaker of Talk 1) – He has explained everything to us.

    Where there is no Jesus, there is no Joy!

    And if you want Joy, Jesus is the Source of the Joy!

    So, I will take you through one Verse of the Bible that the Youths quoted severally on Day 1 Night.

    And then, we will now come to our Prayer Points.

    1 Peter 1:8 – Whom having not seen, ye Love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with Joy Unspeakable and full of Glory:

    So, tell your Neighbour: Please, don’t discourage me. I have started my Joy and it will be Unspeakable forever.

    Because we want to Pray for the Nations; Please Neighbour, sincerely believe Tonight what the Word of God is saying about our Nations.

    And it shall come to Pass in Jesus Name – Amen!

    Let us raise up our Thanksgiving Voices from our Heart to the God of Heaven – The One who gave the General Overseer this Particular Theme for this Meeting: Unspeakable Joy.

    If this Joy has not been Planned for it to come in this Season; so many People could be Crippled, and so many Nations could have been Crippled.

    Let’s Thank God for the Theme for this Month’s Special Holy Ghost Service – The Unspeakable Joy that can only come from the God of Heaven.

    The One who can Change Sorrow to Joy and Night to Day.

    Let’s give Him Thanks – He is forever Sure, He can never fail and from Everlasting to Everlasting, He is God.

    The Bible tells us that – The Name of Jesus is a Mighty Tower, the Righteous runneth to it and they are saved.

    Give Him all the Praise and Thanks because He is Worthy to receive it

    One of the Sermon Yesterday (Day 1) and Daddy GO repeated it that Moses had Prophesied it before He Prayed to God that how do we Cross this Red Sea.

    He has already told the Israelites that the Egyptians you are seeing Today, you will never see them again.

    You will say: “Nigeria will never see any Evil Thing again – Amen!

    All of us, we are going to Prophesy.

    I am reading to you Isaiah 9:2-5:

    1. The People that walked in Darkness have seen a Great Light: they that dwell in the Land of the Shadow of Death, upon them hath the Light shined.
    2. Thou hast Multiplied the Nation, and not increased the Joy: they Joy before thee according to the Joy in Harvest, and as Men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
    3. For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
    4. For every battle of the Warrior is with confused noise, and Garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

    That is our Prophesy Tonight – And as I’m saying it, you will be saying it will all Boldness and Faith of Christ in you.

    1. Father, let our Nations see Great Light and let the Light of the Nations begin to Shine Tonight.

    All those in the dark, bring them to Light.

    Let us all begin to Prophesy.

    In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    1. Nations in the Name of Jesus, your Harvest is coming Greatly.

    Everything Planted, you shall receive Harvest Greater than you thought.

    Shall we begin to Pray now!

    1. In Jesus Name, we break all the Yokes of Burden assigned to all the Nations.

    Let us begin to break all the Bondages and Limits of all Nations – We break them in Jesus Name.

    1. In Jesus Name, we break the rod of all Oppressors and Oppositions of our Nations – They are broken.

    Let the rod of Jesus swallow their rods as the rod of Moses swallow the rods of Pharaoh’s Magicians in Egypt.

    1. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, all the roars of Battles be Silenced as from Tonight all over the world where there are Battles.

    In Jesus Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    1. In Jesus Name, the God of Heaven; carry all our Governments on Your Shoulder Tonight and begin to rule.

    Please Pray this Prayer fervently!

    1. Let us decree that all Natural Disasters will Stop.

    Outbreak of Fire, Flood and everything that will not make the Joy of Nations not to be full – Let it stop now!

    We hold on to this Statement and we receive it for our lives, homes and Nations.

    Seven (7) Years ago, we went on Go-A-Fishing.

    By the third (3rd) day of the Go-A-Fishing; because the roads were very, very bad, my body couldn’t take it anymore and so it broke done completely.

    For the first time in my Life; I spent Christmas Day in bed.

    The devil was sure that he has gotten me at last.

    I broke down completely in Ilesha (DMC NOTES: A Town in Osun State Nigeria), and to get me back to Redemption Camp, we had to Charter an Helicopter because I was so down that if I had travelled by road, definitely between Ilesha and the Redemption Camp, I would have died.

    So we chartered an Helicopter – And then some People, shall we call them Area Boys decided that the Helicopter will not take off.

    I managed to get in but they clunked to the Helicopter until one of the windows tore.

    But somehow, I managed to get to the Redemption Camp – I had the assurance that if only I can get to the Redemption Camp; I know that I would recover.

    Well, seven (7) years hav Passed and I’m still here!

    I want you to Thank God for sparing my Life and that I could still be here Today!

    Go ahead – Praise Him for me: Give Him Glory, give Him Honour and give Him Adoration.

    Then Thank God for yourself – That He spared your Life also that you could be here Today.

    Because this is a Day that we won’t forget – Praise Him!

    Thank You Father.

    And I Pray for all these People born in the Month of March; make their Miracles Triple.

    The Report that I have says that as at 6.00pm of Friday, 7th March 2025; the Number of children born during this RCCG Special Holy Ghost Service are ten (10) – Six (6) boys and four (4) girls.

    So, let the boys shout Praise the Lord!

    SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

    1. Next Month (DMC NOTES: Month of April 2025); is the Special Month for our Children.

    So their Holy Ghost Service will be in the Month of April as usual – That is when we bring all our Children for Special Anointing.

    The Theme for The RCCG April 2025 Holy Ghost Service is: “GLORIOUS TOMORROW”.

    And it will take Place on Friday, 4th of April 2025.

    And since we are all Children in the Hands of the Ancient of Days; we will all come before Him as Children and we will all get blessed together!

    1. For those of you that require Counselling and Baptism of the Holy Spirits; the Elders will be here by 11:00a.m Tomorrow (DMC NOTES: Saturday, 8th March 2025).
    2. Tomorrow Evening (Saturday, 8th March 2025); there will be Holy Communion Service and Anointing Service here.

    There is something called “The Oil of Gladness” – That will be available Tomorrow!

    And I will want you to know that when there is Anointing Service, it is not the one that anoints you that matters but it is the Oil that matters.

    Before you are Anointed; by the Power on us by the Holy Spirit, we would have Spoken on the Oil and told the Oil what to do.

    The Holy Communion Service is going to be on the basis of what happened at the Wedding at Cana of Galilee.

    When they ran out of wine and God Provided wine – The Comment then was: “You have Preserved the Best for the Last”.

    … That will be for the Holy Communion Service Tomorrow!

    SPECIAL APPRECIATIONS

    1. I want to really say Thank You to the Royal Fathers – That was a Wonderful Presentations.

    The Almighty God has already started to Promote you – He gave me an Instruction to create a Special Altar for you.

    And He will keep on Promoting you – Amen!

    1. I want to say Thank You for my children all the way from Liberia who came to sing for me.

    God will bless you all and bless Liberia.

    1. Now, what do you say about the Mass Choir?

    Even when America is looking for Someone Special – They searched the whole world and they found Someone in Nigeria, in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), a Youth Pastor to Play at the Inauguration of their President.

    I am sure that you know that my Tomorrow is alright!

    Many of the People who spoke before had told you the origin of the Holy Ghost Service.

    He is the One that says that I should bring you together and He will give you “Joy Unspeakable”.

    I have requested on your behalf that I want at least eighty three thousand (83,000) Healings Tonight – And He has assured me that it’s already Settled!

    So while the Service is going on – Keep checking and you will see something happening.

    And I want to appeal to you all to Stretch further your “Antenna of Faith” Tonight because “The Just shall live by Faith”.

    And when you go through the Scriptures, you will see that all those who received Miracles from Jesus Christ; that they got it by Faith.

    He would ask you: “Do you believe that I can do it?” They would say: “I believe”. Then He would say: “Be unto you according to your Faith”.

    Four (4) Places in the Bible God repeated Himself: “The just shall live by Faith” (DMC NOTES: Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38)

    In 2 Kings 7 – The whole Chapter; the Prophet of God made a Declaration, and one fellow there said – A lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the Man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make Windows in Heaven, might this thing be?

    And the Man of God said to him, “you would see with your eyes only, you would not be able to eat thereof.”

    I beg you Tonight, don’t think at all: “How is God going to do what He says He will do?” Just get ready to receive your own.

    Because there would be those who would say, “we were there when the Man of God was speaking; we didn’t take him serious.” Don’t be one of those.

    Now, I said all those things, because I had Prepared a Sermon – And you know I love Teaching. I have been a Teacher all my Life.

    But then, God woke me up and said, Tonight put aside your Sermon – Just decree and I will establish it.

    So, I am going to be decreeing -:I beg you, as you hear the decrees, let your Amen be loud and clear.

    I Thank God that my son who took the First Talk has also handled the issue of Salvation very well.

    In case there is any of you still not saved; decide straight away, and the Almighty God will save your Soul.

    SPECIAL DECREES

    DECREE NO. 1:

    In the Name that’s above every other name, God will wipe away all tears from your eyes!

    Because sorrow is a Destroyer – It can even make People lose their Vision.

    When People are sufficiently sad, they can even consider Suicide.

    … So I am repeating one more time;

    The God I serve; the God who arranged for this Meeting, will wipe away all tears from your eyes – Amen.

    DECREE NO. 2:

    In the Name that’s above every other name, God will cause you to Laugh!

    Sarah said, “God has caused me to laugh; and all that hear would laugh with me.”

    In the Name of the One who sits in Heaven; the One who says He would laugh at your Enemies: That God will cause you to Laugh – Amen.

    DECREE NO. 3:

    Because it is written in Psalm 126:1-2, where it says: When the LORD turned again the Captivity of Zion, we were like them that Dream. Then was our mouth filled with Laughter, and our tongue with Singing: then said they among the Heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.

    I hereby decree in the Name of the One Who called me: God will turn your Captivity.

    To be Captive means the enemy captured you, put you in Prison, or turned you to a Slave.

    But Tonight, in the Name that’s above every other name, my God will turn your Captivity – Amen.

    DECREE NO. 4:

    When Jesus healed the man who was born blind and People were asking: How can that be?

    He said, whether Jesus is a Sinner or not, I don’t know. All I know is, “Whereas I was blind, now I see.”

    Concerning all of you who came with any form of Sickness, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC: I hereby decree, you will Sing a New Song

    When People ask you: Just like that Last Persom who Testified here Tonight – That Cancer had spread all over her body. She has spent all her money.

    And then they did the Final Check; and suddenly found out that all the Cancer Cells had disappeared – The Doctors cannot explain.

    As my God lives, in a way that Nobody is able to explain: You will Sing a New Song – Amen.

    DECREE NO. 5:

    Which I am basing on 2 Kings 5:1-7; it is for those of you who are not okay Financially.

    That Widow came to the Man of God, “The Creditors want to sell my children.”

    The Man of God asked her, “What do you have at home?” Nothing! Just a little bottle of Oil.

    She went back, did what the Man of God said. And came back to say, “My house is Overflowing with Oil.”

    I say to all of you who are not where you ought to be Financially; I decree, you will Testify – Amen.

    Thank You Father.

    The Lord asked me to tell Somebody here tonight, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC:

    He said, every bitter water in your Life shall be Sweetened – Amen.

    DECREE NO. 6:

    Which I am basing on Mark 5: 2-20 – Concerning the Mad Man of Gadara. After God set him free he became an Evangelist.

    I am decreeing tonight, every one of you, you will fulfill your Destiny – Amen.

    Beginning from now, every Ground you have lost, you will Recover – Amen.

    DECREE NO. 7:

    Which I am basing on Mark 5:25-34.

    I want to decree, from this Hour onwards, your days of Loneliness are over – Amen!

    DECREE NO. 8:

    That I am basing on Acts 3:1-8 – To those of you who have been Stagnant.

    I hereby decree from this Night onwards, your Promotion shall be Accelerated – Amen!

    DECREE NO. 9:

    The Bible tells us in Luke 2:10, And the Angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you Good Tidings of Great Joy, which shall be to all People.

    When the Angels appeared to the People on the field, they had Great Joy – Because the Angel said he has brought them News of Good Tidings of Great Joy.

    I Stand Today as a Representative of the Most High God, I decree to all of you here, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC: You will never hear Bad News again – Amen!

    If anybody is bringing Bad News, somebody would tell them: No! That’s not for him/her.

    I decree one more time: No more Bad News – Amen!

    DECREE NO. 10:

    Which I am basing on Matthew 2:1-10 – When the Wise Men finally arrived where Jesus was, the Bible tells us that they had very Great Joy.

    And so I am decreeing; in the Name that’s above every other name, you will reach your Goal – Amen.

    I decree, you will never Labour in vain again – Amen.

    Thank You Father.

    The Lord said there’s Someone here tonight, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC:

    I am basing it on 1 Peter 1: 3-9 – That is where you hear, Joy Unspeakable. It says: Whom having not seen, ye Love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with Joy Unspeakable and full of Glory:

    And so, I am decreeing that; that God called Jesus, Whom you have not seen but believe in, will give you Joy Unspeakable.

    You will be Praying very soon. I mean, if you go home now, at least God has already settled your Case.

    But I have my own Special Requests. And I am still going to give you Father’s Advice, before we Pray.

    SPECIAL FATHER’S REQUESTS

    I am going to tell you my Special Requests; and I would want you to join me by saying Amen!

    1. I have requested from God for Eighty Three Thousand (83,000) New Babies.
    2. I have requested for Students: At least Eight thousand Three Hundred (8,300) First Class Grades
    3. I have requested for at least Eight thousand Three Hundred (8,300) Marriages before the end of the Year (2025).
    4. I have requested for Eight Hundred and Thirty (830) New Billionaires within the Church.
    5. I have requested for at least Eight Hundred and Thirty (830) Billionaires joining the Church.
    6. I have requested that in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); and in all the Churches where they call me Daddy: No More Cancer!

    SPECIAL FATHER’S ADVICE

    As your father, I want to advise you:

    1. Please, Don’t Sell your Salvation at any Cost.

    Because when David fell, his cry was: Cast me not away from thy Presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the Joy of thy Salvation; and Uphold me with thy free Spirit (Psalm 51:11-12).

    Thank You Father.

    I want to say Amen to this one too before I tell you – Amen!

    Daddy said there’s Someone here Tonight, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC:

    He said: Very soon, the only word to describe your Life is “Radiant” – Amen!

    Do not sell your Salvation!

    … The Second thing has been mentioned by my son who took the first Talk.

    1. Don’t ever leave God’s Presence.

    Because Psalm 16:11 says, Thou wilt shew me the Path of Life: in thy Presence is Fullness of Joy; at thy Right Hand there are Pleasures for evermore.

    Stop this idea of being one kind of Person in the Church; and then Outside the Church you are Somebody else.

    Please, take Tonight very seriously.

    All those decrees are already working for you – Amen.

    So, take my Advice seriously too.

    Some of you would come to Church, dressed in a certain way and then as soon as you get out, on your way to work or somewhere else, there’ll be no difference between you and the People of the world.

    Just imagine what would happen; supposed God says to you, “I will be with you today only for one (1) hour: the rest of the day, you are on your own.”

    Will you step out of the house that day?

    If God were to say to you, “Whenever you are in Church, I would be with you. As soon as you step out and become like the world again, you are on your own.”

    You know how dangerous that would be!

    Let us belong to God 24/7 – Don’t be one Person in Church and another Outside.

    1. Become Addicted to Soul-Winning.

    I want to encourage you to become addicted to Soul-Winning.

    Again, the Preacher who took Talk 1 mentioned this (DMC NOTES: Reverend Joe Olaiya) – “You cannot give Joy to others and lack Joy.”

    Thank You Daddy.

    The Lord said there’s Someone here tonight, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC:

    He said: The Gang up against you shall Fail” – Amen.

    In Acts 8:5-8, when the Bible says there was Great Joy in Samaria because of Philip – The whole City cannot be Rejoicing and the one who brought the Joy there is sad.

    You know how far I travel during Go-a-Fishing – I mean, this Last Year (2024) for Example; I think I started in Ore (DMC NOTES: Ondo State Nigeria). Then we went to Okitipupa (DMC NOTES: Ondo State and from there to Agbarha Otor (DMC NOTES: Ugelli Delta State)

    I am not deceiving myself that I am getting Younger – I am not getting Younger.

    Many atimes when you get to one Place and your body is aching.

    But then you see the Joy in the faces of the People, “Daddy has come!” And they are shouting for Joy.

    Suddenly, their Joy will Permeate my body; and that Joy gives me Strength.

    I decree to you Today: As you bring Joy to others, your Joy shall be Multiplied – Amen.

    1. Be a Progressive Sower like Isaac.

    I’m advising you to be like Isaac. Isaac was somebody throughout his Life, who never knew Sorrow.

    His name meant ‘Laughter.’

    Each time they called him ‘Laughter’ – And he too kept on Laughing.

    He had no Secret – He was a Progressive Sower.

    He just kept on Sowing, and he kept on Growing until he became Very Great.

    You see, there’s something called “the Joy of Harvest” – The Bible made it clear in Psalm 126:5-6, They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing Precious Seed, shall doubtless come again with Rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

    I decree in the Name that’s above every other: By the next time you come here, you will be jumping with Joy – Amen!

    I want to make a Suggestion – You don’t have to take it; it’s an Advise from your father:

    I want to suggest that you go home and think of what I would call “A Seed of Joy” and send it to God.

    • Put it in an Envelope, write at the back “Seed of Joy.”
    • If it’s a Cheque, write at the back of the Cheque, “Seed of Joy
    • If it’s a Vehicle or Land, make it clear: “This is a Seed of Joy.”

    … And you will Harvest Joy – Amen.

    1. Finally, I want you to keep on Praying.

    John 16: 24 says: Ask until till your be Full.

    The Lord said I should tell Someone here tonight, inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC:

    That is Good News!

    It means, for Somebody that God has forsaken; there is going to be a Reunion – Amen!

    Oh! I decree from the bottom of my Heart, the Almighty God would not hand you over to the Enemy – Amen.

    Our Book Reviewer today hardly needs no Introduction.

    He is a widely recognised and deeply respected Scholar, Advocate, Public Intellectual, Orator, Pastor and Climate Justice Champion.

    However, what you may not realised is his warm fatherly side:

    In recent weeks, he has embraced his role as an Active Grandfather; Celebrating the arrival of his second Grandchild.

    But his Paternal Care extends far beyond his Biological Family – He is also a Father Figure to thousands of Nigerian Children; Transforming lives through his Free School Initiatives.

    OBSERVATION OF OFFICIAL PROTOCOLS

    Mr President – President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR (DMC NOTES: He is the Current and 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who assumed Office on the 29th of May, 2023)

    The Chairman of this occasion – Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR (DMC NOTES: He first served as Military Head of State from 13th February 1976 to 1st October 1979 and later as President from 29th May 1999 to 29th May 2007).

    Former President Abdulsalami Abubakar, GCFR (DMC NOTES: 8th June 1998 to 29th May 1999) and her Ladyship, Honourary Justice Fati Lami Abubakar (DMC NORES: Former Chief Judge of Niger State).

    Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, GCON (DMC NOTES: 5th May 2010 to 29th May 2015).

    Former President of Sierra Leone – His Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma (DMC NOTES: He served as the 4th President of Sierra Leone from 17th September 2007 to 4th April 2018).

    The immediate Past President of Ghana and the Keynote Speaker – His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo (DMC NOTES: He served as the 13th President of Ghana from 7th January 2017 to 7th January 2025)

    Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen!

    “Babangida: A Journey in Service” is an important book in many respects.

    First, it is not just the Story of the remarkable journey of former President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida from childhood to the highest levels of Public Service, it is the Story or Stories of a journey of a Nation – Our Nation Nigeria.

    The Nigerian Story, complex, sometimes unpredictable, sometimes stranger than fiction, but always fascinating.

    Many of the key figures in this book and who shaped the History of our Country are here with us today, and that tells another Story by itself.

    And it is something truly unique about Nigeria – Our ability to move beyond the Past, no matter how bitter and adversarial our Past relationships may be and to still come together.

    So seated among us is General Yakubu Gowon, GCFR (DMC NOTES: He ruled as Military Head of State from 1st August 1966 to 29th July 1975); who became Nigeria’s Head of State at the age of just 32 years old and led the country for nine (9) years.

    His Government was overthrown in 1975 (DMC NOTES: 29th July 1975) by a coup involving then Brigadier Olusegun Obasanjo, Brigadier Theophilus Danjuma, and the Author himself, Babangida, then Lt .Col Babangida – Who was then the Commander of the newly formed Armoured Corps.

    Also involved in that coup was then Lieutenant Colonels Muhammadu Buhari, Sani Bello, and Sani Sami.

    Yet, here we are today, with former President Obasanjo and General Danjuma Present, not as adversaries of the Author but as Witnesses to History, celebrating a fellow Statesman.

    In a striking turn of fate, the Author notes that it was President Obasanjo who, after the tragic assassination of General Murtala Mohammed, insisted that a Young Lt. Col. Babangida be appointed to the Supreme Military Council – Making him its Youngest Member at the time.

    Also represented here is immediate Past President Muhammadu Buhari Another Leader whose Path intertwined with Babangida.

    It was former President Babaginda that played a key role in the coup that brought President Buhari to Power in 1983 (DMC NOTES: 31st December 1983), and later, in another coup that removed him and brought Babangida himself to Power (DMC NOTES: 27th August 1985).

    Yet, today President Buhari is represented at this occasion, celebrating the Man who overthrew him and detained him for three and a half years​ – His one-time old adversary, former President General Babangida.

    And then of course, there is a Gentleman here who was an elected Senator in 1992 in the course of Babangida’s Transition Programme.

    When Babangida annulled the 1993 Election (DMC NOTES: The Popular June 12th Election), and General Abacha took over and dissolved the Senate,​ he tried to reconstitute the Senate in resistance to the dissolution.

    He was detained and charged to court, but he escaped into exile. ​

    Today, he also is here to celebrate with his erstwhile Tormentors but now as President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu GCFR.

    The third reason why this 420-Paged book is important is that it unveils one of the most enigmatic Leaders Nigeria has ever had – A Man who some called Maradona, others described him as the “Evil Genius​”; baring his Mind in his own words, in writing, for the first time since he left office 32 years ago.

    In this compelling account​, he tells of his early life in Minna, his parents, his siblings, his Primary School​, GWARI Native Authority ​Primary, how he became an Orphan at age 14​, at age 16 entering the Provincial Secondary School, Bida​ – The School which later became Government College Bida. ​

    His Class of 1957-1962 which you have heard, Produced two Nigerian Presidents, four State Governors, a former Chief Justice of the Federation, two Federal Ministers.

    And ​his Classmates includes former President Abdulsalami Abubakar (General) Sani Sami (Colonel)​, Sani Bello (Colonel) Garba Duba (Major General) Muhammed Gado Nasko (Lieutenant General) Abdulmumini Keki Manga (Brigadier General) Mohammed Mamman Magoro (Major General) Paul Babale (Brigadier General) and Mamman Vatsa who joined in their third year.

    Babangida reveals his nickname to the Readers – He was called the ​”Blockbuster​” for his Sporting Exploits.

    But Gado Nasko and Ismaila Ahmed coined a nastier nickname for him, ​”Kulele,​” because of his Stocky Physique.​ ​

    And the Author noted jokingly – I never forgave them for this.

    Babaginda became Head ​Boy of the School in his Final Year.

    Then he tells the Story of how he changed his name from birth – Which was “Ibrahim Badamasi” to ​”Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.”

    He recalls that during Official Engagements, Officers confused his last name “Badamasi” with the Yoruba name, ‘Gbadamosi,’ and many repeatedly asked him whether he was Yoruba.

    That Question had also come up a few years before, during his Enlisting Interview for the Military.

    He says to eliminate the confusion “ I decided to take on my father’s other name “Babangida” as my last name​.”

    Now he tells the Story of how he became interested in the Military.

    A certain Teacher Pa Onimole, who, as a twenty four year old, had taken up a Voluntary Three-Month Leave-of-Absence from his Teaching job at King’s College in 1930 to help Set Up and Popularise Science Education in Northern Nigeria, and who ended up spending his entire Teaching Career in the North.

    By the time he died in Ibadan at 78 in 1984, Pa Onimole, had taught and mentored several Generations of Students in Northern Nigeria – Including General Yakubu Gowon and the Author.

    But ​more than just laying a sound Science Foundation for us, writes the Author, Pa Onimole was the first to get many of us interested in a Career in the Military.​

    Shortly after Independence in 1960, Pa Onimole invited his former Student, Captain Yakubu Gowon, to give us a Career Talk on the Military.

    Captain Gowon, handsome and smart-looking in his Properly-Starched Army Officer’s Uniform, spoke to us brilliantly, in his now-familiar shrill voice, on the benefits of a Military Career.

    His Career Talk left a mark that stayed with most of us.​

    However in a remarkable twist of fate, several years later, Yakubu Gowon, became Head of State in a coup in which the Author Participated.

    While living in England, he was implicated unjustly by Dimka who had led a failed coup, the Supreme Military Council then decided to strip General Yakubu Gowon of his rank as a 4-Star General and dismissed him from the Nigerian ​Army.

    The Author writes and I quote him: “Although I was a Member of the Supreme Military Council that made that Painful Decision on General Gowon, I am happy that as President, I restored his benefits and full ranks in 1986 as a distinguished General of the Nigerian Army.”

    The Author also tells the Story of his Combat Experience during the Civil War (DMC NOTES: The Civil War in Nigeria was from 6th July 1967 to 15th January 1970).

    And his favourite Commanders was General Wushishi and General Danjuma. And the most unfortunate aspect of the war experience for him was that it brought him into Combat confrontation with some Young Officers from the Biafran side with whom he had trained as a Cadet and who now had to fight on the Biafran side.

    Interestingly, a good number of them who survived remained his friends after the war and long afterwards.

    But Perhaps the most unforgettable occurrence of the Civil War for him was the injury that nearly killed him.

    In the course of a firefight in Uzuakoli Umuahia​ (DMCNOTES: Now in Abia State Nigeria), he was hit by a Shrapnel that eventually lodged in his chest​.

    And he tells of how he was evacuated to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba (Lagos State Nigeria).

    And while he was in the Hospital recovering from his injuries, on Saturday April 19, 1969​, he watched on Television in the Common Room of the Hospital as the then Head of State, Commander-In-Chief; General Yakubu Gowon married his beautiful black beauty​, the then Victoria Zakari.

    There and then he made up his Mind to get married and he already knew who he wanted to marry. And he went looking for her as soon as left the Hospital.

    She was also a black beauty, the then Maria​ Okogwu – He met her through his Childhood friend and her Cousin Garba Duba. She lived with her Uncle Garba Duba’s father.

    When he Proposed to her, she turned him down because of his reputation as a Playboy.

    But she later agreed after her Uncle put in a word for him – She became Maryam Babangida (DMC NOTES: 1st November 1948 to 27th December 2009).

    The Author devotes a whole Chapter to her remarkable life and times – As a devoted wife, mother of his children, a Generous Hostess and the First Lady of Nigeria who redefined the office of First Lady.

    And she went on to engage in some of the most consequential Social Investment Programmes of that Period – Including the Better life for Rural Women Programme.

    The Author also gives his account of his much talked about dramatic encounter with Dimka the Leader of the coup that led to the assassination of then Head of State​, General Murtala Mohammed.

    He recalls that Dimka was holed up at the Broadcasting Station immediately after the assassination of the Head of State – General Murtala Mohammed.

    The Author relates how, not knowing that there had been a coup attempt, he arrived for a Meeting with General Akinrinade at the Army Headquarters and sauntered into the top floor of the building​.

    The General shouted at him ​”Ibrahim, where the hell have you been?​ We’ve been looking for you. You must go and see T.Y. (Danjuma) immediately”.

    ​He continued, “Convinced I was being sought after because of our ongoing Meeting on the Army’s Re-organisation, I looked at my wristwatch and told the General I was on time since it was yet to be 9am! ​

    ”Who’s talking of a Meeting?​”, the General thundered back. ​”Haven’t you heard what happened, that the ​Head of​ State has just been assassinated and that Major Dimka has made a broadcast claiming to have taken over?​”

    He then went to General Danjuma’s office.​

    ”And the Author writes that “Danjuma’s instructions to me when I met with him were unambiguous: ‘Go to the Radio House and flush Dimka out of that place immediately.​”

    ​”When we got to the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) Radio House at Ikoyi in an armoured Column, we noticed that Dimka’s Men surrounded the place – Primarily Young Officers who were a part of the Plot, including his ADC, 2nd Lt Samuel Garba.

    As I got down from my Armoured Vehicle, unarmed, and approached the building, Dimka’s ADC, Garba, attempted to stop me.

    By now, Dimka had spotted me from the Storey building and screamed: ‘Ibrahim, I’m going to shoot you!”

    I shouted back: “Well, that’s okay. If you shoot me, you know my family, you’ll take care of them. They’ll become your responsibility – I have no Problem. It would be nice to die in the hands of a friend.​”

    After a pause, Dimka soberly replied: ‘Ibrahim, I like your guts. Come Upstairs”

    ​A​nd Dimka was indeed a close friend, one of the Groomsmen at my Wedding to Maryam in Kaduna in 1969 (DMC NOTES: Babaginda married on 6th September 1969).

    When I got Upstairs, I could tell from his breath that he had had a lot to drink – The stench of alcohol from around him and his boys was Pungent.

    Then, suddenly, his ADC, 2nd Lt Garba, also visibly drunk, nervously showed up and suggested that Dimka take me hostage and use me as a Bargaining Chip with the Government.

    Dimka angrily screamed at Garba and chased him out.

    Once Garba scampered out, Dimka and I settled for a ‘frank’ discussion.

    In doing so, I reminded him of the need to keep things under control to avoid flaring tempers in the circumstances we had all found ourselves in.​

    ​First, he wanted to know if I had come to trick him into some form of Surrender.

    When I convinced him that that was not my mission, he calmed down and listened – I asked him what he wanted, and he said he wanted a Change of Government. He even attempted to Persuade me to join them in their attempt!​

    ​But even as he made that “Intolerable Request” of me, it was apparent from his body language that he knew the game was up.

    Then, his tone started to Change:

    ☆ Could I guarantee his Safety?

    ☆ Could I negotiate a written Amnesty for him and all his Co-Plotters?

    Again, as I had done earlier, I pleaded with him to give himself up and avoid any form of Conflagration that could damage the Radio House and the death of Civilians and Soldiers.

    That chit-chat went on for quite some time, and when I appeared not to be making headway with him, I left with a Promise to return later.​

    ​Meanwhile, I returned to General Danjuma to give him a report of my encounter with Dimka.

    Danjuma was furious – He ordered me back to the Radio House with a reiteration of his earlier instructions to ‘flush Dimka out of place immediately.’

    I returned to Radio House with Chris Ugokwe, better equipped and prepared.”

    I will leave you to read what happened next – Buy the Book!

    But the reasons why this Autobiography is long-awaited is more because of the innumerable controversies that were spurned in the Babangida era.

    Babangida himself described these events as: “The events that shook the Administration to its Foundations under our Watch​.”​

    These include:

    1. The death of Dele Giwa.

    The killing by ​a Letter Bomb of the Charismatic Journalist and Publisher of Newswatch – A Weekly Political News Magazine, in his home on October 19, 1986 (DMC NOTES: Sunday Morning).

    1. The Vatsa Coup.

    A coup that implicated one of his closest Childhood friends, and the decision of the Supreme Military Council to execute him.

    1. The Gideon Orkar coup.

    A coup that took the life of his ADC and nearly took his life and his wife.

    And how they escaped the Coupists.

    How the coup was foiled by the then Chief of ​Army ​Staff – General Sanni Abacha.

    1. The OIC Palaver – DMC NOTES: Organisation of Islamic Organisation.

    The controversy as​ to whether the Government had surreptitiously taken Nigeria into Membership of The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

    1. The 1989 SAP Riots.

    The deadly riots over the harsh Economic Effects of the Government’s Structural ​Adjustment ​Policy (SAP).

    1. The C-130 Air Crash on September 26th,​ 1992.

    The crash of a Nigerian Air Force Lockheed C-130 Transporter Aircraft in the swamps off the Lagos coast barely 3 Minutes after taking off from the Ikeja Airport​ killing a total of 159 Officers – Including the crew and nine Foreigners.

    The crash wiped out some of the Brightest and Best Middle Cadre Officers of the time and there was the allegation that the Government Masterminded the crash to stave off a coup against the Administration especially since the failure of the Orkar coup.

    Then there is a full Chapter devoted to the Transition to Military rule and the June 12 saga.

    June 12th was a decision with Cataclysmic consequences – It was the annulment of what had been said to be the freest and fairest Election in Nigeria.

    ☆ The annulment led to a Military Interregnum that was considered one of the most vicious in Nigeria’s History.

    ☆ The eventual death of the Acclaimed Winner of the Election, and his wife.

    The Author deals with all these issues and for the first time answers these Questions fully – For example:

    I. He tells us for the first time who annulled the June 12th Election.

    Of course, I will not disclose​ that to you – You must buy the book to find out.

    He puts the facts out there, and he gives his own reasons for the actions he took, and he admits where​ he believes he was wrong.

    II. He also answers the Question of whether Abiola actually won the elections​.

    And I quote him: Although I am on record to have stated after the Elections that Abiola may not have won the Elections, upon deeper reflection and a closer examination of all the available facts, Particularly the detailed Election results, which are Published as an appendix to this Volume, there was no doubt that MKO Abiola won the June 12 Elections.

    Upon closer examination of the original collated figures from the 110,000 Polling Booths Nationwide, it was clear that he satisfied the two main Constitutional Requirements for winning the Presidential Elections – Mainly Majority votes and Geographical Spread.

    Having obtained 8,128,720 votes against Tofa’s 5,848,247 votes and securing the Mandatory one- third of the votes cast in 28 ​States of the ​Federation, including Abuja.

    I am gratified that the Buhari Administration finally recognised him as a former ​Head of ​State.

    He concludes in the Book and I quote him, “Looking back now, the June 12 saga was undeniably the most Challenging moment of my life and, in certain respects, one of the most Painful.”

    And he went on to admit “If I had to do it all over, I’d do it differently.”

    I will certainly not go into all the details of what he said on these issues otherwise there will be no Point in buying the Book.

    I urge you to read the Book and then make up your Mind whether you agree or disagree.

    I am glad that he has laid several years of controversy to rest by speaking his truth.

    Let me conclude Mr. Chairman by saying that by any standard,​ “Babangida’s Journey of Service” is an Extraordinary Book.

    It is a Collection of Stories from a life deeply intertwined with Nigeria’s Contemporary History – Told with remarkable wit, insight, and a vivid sense of place.

    Babangida’s Storytelling ability is undeniable – He draws the reader into each moment, making History feel immediate and alive.

    His Prose flows effortlessly from one era to another, from one Pivotal Event to the next, in a way that is both engaging and easy to read.

    He is generous in his Praise of others – Aknowledging the Contributions of many along the way.

    Yet, despite the richness of his narrative, this Book will not Silence the debates or end the controversies surrounding his years in Power especially the Final Chapter of his Leadership.

    The Questions will Persist, and the criticisms will continue, but that has always been the nature of the Babangida Phenomenon.​

    He remains, as ever, a force of History.

    This is a Book we must all​ read – Babangida in his own words!

    Well, let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

    My own Assignment is just to give you a Father’s Blessings!

    Tonight is the Eve of the Great Day.

    And I’m believing God for you that within the next 24 Hours, you will begin to enjoy Joy Unspeakable – Amen!

    My boys has done Excellently well again Tonight and I will not begin to talk about who said what.

    But they are all very, very Good boys.

    The Choir had been very, very Good as well.

    Everything just Wonderful including the Fellow who came Last.

    And I am saying that:

    ☆ Everything that is Negative shall Pass – Amen!

    ☆ And everything that is Possible shall never Pass – Amen!

    Which brings me to a Passage that they all kept on repeating:

    Psalms 30:5 – Werping may endure for a Night, Joy comes in the Morning.

    A lot can happen in less than 24 Hours!

    And when you Studied the Scriptures very well; you will discovered that the People who got what we could called “Joy Unspeakable”, they didn’t know the Day before that the following Day, things will Change.

    I. Bartimeaus didn’t know that Jesus Christ was going to come to Jericho.

    He didn’t know that while he was going to bed that Night that by the following Day:

    ☆ He will no longer be Blind.

    ☆ He will no longer be Begging.

    ☆ He will no longer be Stagnant.

    ☆ He will no longer have so many Enemies who will almost immediately the Day comes will become his friends.

    II. The woman with the Issue of Blood who has been bleeding for 12 Years didn’t know that the Day before.

    That by the following Day, all the crisis will be over.

    There are many of us who are here Tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC – And I’m speaking to you as a Child of God who hears from God!

    If you know what God is about to do for you Tomorrow, you will already be Shouting for Joy!

    Go ahead and shout a really Big Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

    So, I’m going to just Pray one Prayer for you and then you can go home Rejoicing and waiting for Tomorrow!

    But then, my Children kept on saying: If you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ; whenever Daddy comes forth, then run to the Altar.

    Well, they are correct!

    ALTAR CALL

    So, if you are here Tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC – And you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ; I give you only 2 Minutes; you run quickly to the Altar.

    We will Pray for your Salvation and then we will receive the Father’s Blessings.

    And then, we will be on our way!

    So, if you want to Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ – Like they have told you: Without Salvation, you can’t have this Joy Unspeakable.

    Come very quickly as I am going to count from one (1) to seven (7).

    So, if you are here and you want to Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ so that you can have Part of the Joy; then begin to come now!

    Alright, those of you who are already infront of the Altar and those on their way and those of you deciding for Jesus Christ even in your Living Rooms:

    Cry to Him now and say:

    Father, Please have Mercy on me, save my Soul, forgive all my sins and just take over my Life from now on.

    Be my Saviour, be my Lord and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.

    And the rest of us, Please let us Intercede for these People:

    Pray that the God who saved our own Souls will save their Souls too and then give them the Joy of Salvation.

    Pray that God will give them Genuine Salvation.

    That from now on, they will never know the Sorrow of the Wicked but will begin to know the Joy of Salvation.

    Thank You Father!

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    PRAYER FOR SALVATION

    My Father and my God; I want to give You all the Glory and Honour for these Your Children who has come forward now to Surrender their lives to You.

    Father, Please receive them, save their Souls, forgive all their sins and let Your Blood wash them Clean.

    And I Pray that from now on, they will become Members of the Family of God.

    Write their names in the Book of Life.

    And from now on, anytime they cry unto You; answer them by Fire.

    In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!

    Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!

    Now, I want to Thank God on your behalf – Those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ.

    I want to Promise you that from now on; I will be Praying for you.

    So, I will be needing your names, your Address and your Prayer Requests.

    The Counsellors will attend to you and I Promise you that I will be Praying for you!

    But I want you to stay where you are now because I want to Pray for everybody.

    I am going to ask God to answer your Prayers Tonight so that by Tomorrow, you already have Testimonies!

    PERSONAL PRAYER REQUESTS

    Just for 2 Minutes now, talk to God – Tell Him exactly what you want before the Sun rises Tomorrow.

    Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God – He is here and He answers Prayers.

    Tell Him – Be Specific about the Miracles that you want Him to give you before the Sun rises Tomorrow!

    FATHER’S BLESSINGS

    My Father and my God, I want to Thank You.

    The Night before You spoke to me concerning what has become the Holy Ghost Service (HGS); I didn’t know what was coming.

    But Lord God Almighty, within 24 Hours, You Changed everything.

    Everything in my Life, everything in the Ministry You have Committed into my Care and everything even in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – You Changed it in less than 24 Hours.

    And so Daddy: I am crying unto You Tonight – Concerning all these Your Children:

    Before this Time Tomorrow, Change everything.

    Change everything for the better.

    Please my Daddy, I know that You Love me and I know that You have never disappointed me.

    You told me that; the Theme for this Year’s Anniversary is: “JOY UNSPEAKABLE”.

    By this Time of Tomorrow, let all of us be Swimming in Joy Unspeakable.

    And just as a Token to these Your Children who are here Today or Connected with us right now all over the world, Inclusive those reading now on the Label of DMC: Whatever they have asked for now, make it available to them.
