OPENING PRAYER:
Almighty God, the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. The King of kings, the Lord of lords, the One who is, the One who was and the One who is to Come. The Governor among the Nations, we Thank You!
It is unto You all flesh will come. We bow before You and Worship with Thanksgiving and in Adoration, please accept out Thanks in Jesus’ Name.
Father come down in Your Power, Heal the sick and Set the Captive free. Father release Your Presence and Save Souls. Do what only You alone can do and at the end of this Service, let all the Glory be returned unto You.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Praise ye the Lord!
You may please be seated in the Presence of the Most High God.
I will like to appreciate the Almighty God for this great privilege He has given me to stand on this Holy Altar; where our father in the Lord Ministers.
I will like to thank our father in the Lord, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of this Great Mission, for the awesome role he has played in my life.
He is a true father, and I pray that as you are labouring over us, God will reward you in full.
In the Name of Jesus, shame and sorrow shall be far from you; your Family and your Ministry in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
I will also like to thank our Mummy G.O. The great mummy, the great Woman of God, who is always patient with us. And a true Helpmate of our Daddy.
Mummy, God bless you. God will Anoint you more and more and God will make your Joy full in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
I will like to share with us this message, the Theme of which is: “LIFTED INTO GLORY”.
Our BIBLE TEXT will be taken from
1 SAMUEL 2:1-4, 6-8
1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
4 The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.
6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.
… This will be your Song with effect from tonight in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.
The Word the Almighty God has for me, for you and for all of us here is in the book of ISAIAH 54:1-4
1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
He is talking to somebody tonight: Enlarge the Place of your Tent and let them stretch forth the curtains of their Habitation.
This is the Word for the Creation that God brought forth in Genesis 1:22: “And God blessed them, saying, Be Fruitful, and Multiply, and Fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the Earth.”
The above passage tells us that God has no tolerance; I mean ZERO TOLERANCE for Unfruitfulness or Barrenness.
God has no Tolerance for anybody to be Barren.
I want us to get that clear in our mind – God has no Patient with whatever or whoever is Unfruitful or Barren.
Now the Theme is “LIFTED INTO GLORY”.
There are two (2) dominant words – “LIFTED” and “GLORY”
What is the meaning of LIFTED?
Simply put, it comes from the Word Lift – To bring a change from one position to another position. It means a Shift.
Somebody shall receive a SHIFT tonight, in the Name of Jesus – Amen: A shift from one situation to another situation for example, Barrenness to FRUITFULNESS.
It can be to PULL DOWN, it can be to LIFT UP or TAKE UP.
But tonight we are talking about “LIFTED INTO GLORY”.
And GLORY is beautiful – Glory is not Down, Glory is not in the PIT but Glory is UP because our God is Glory.
Therefore, tonight’s message means that somebody here shall be LIFTED UP from a Place that is the Opposite of Glory, into GLORY.
There is Lifting Up for you tonight in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
What is the meaning of GLORY?
Glory simply means the opposite of Shame, Reproach, Embarrassment, Casting Down.
When you can’t lift up your Face and look at people and say My God, I have not the Power: that is SHAME – Opposite of that is Glory.
WHO CAN LIFT UP?
Who is able to lift up?
The one who is called the SOVEREIGN One.
Psalms 115:1,3,12-14
1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
12 The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
So tonight God is going to lift somebody Up and nobody will query God for what He has done.
Your adversary may not be happy about it, your neighbours may not be happy about it, but that is the decision that God has made.
… And He will bring it to pass in your life this night in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
WHY DO WE SAY ONLY GOD CAN LIFT UP?
Psalms 146:3-8
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
The above passages tell us that man CAN’T do it – you know man is limited!
Therefore, it says don’t put your trust in Princess nor the son of man in whom there is no Help.
… “But the Lord opened the Eyes of the blind and raiseth them that are bow down”
Are you bow down tonight?
God will raise you Up in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
Don’t trust in man, don’t trust in yourself but TRUST IN GOD.
Psalms 3:3; “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my Glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”
“…The Lord is my shield, He is my Glory and the lifter up of my head.”
This God that I know is the ONLY One that can lift Up: He put His Hands on His chest and He declared in Isaiah 66:1:
“Thus saith the LORD, The Heaven is my throne, and the Earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?”
… He said “Heaven is my Throne and the Earth is my footstool.”
So the whole of this Earth is where God just put His feet.
That means you are just a nail of one finger in the Hands of God.
That means God can easily lift you Up, no matter how far you have gone; no matter how long you have been barren and desolate.
And who is this God?
He is JEHOVAH, THE COVENANT keeping God, THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH, THE RULER over all Affairs; THE GOVERNOR among the Nations.
He says whoever you say I AM, is whom I AM: If you say I have the Might and Power, truly I have the Might and Power because my Name is: I AM THAT I AM.
He says He can bring children out of Stones. No matter how stony your Womb is; no matter how hard your issues are, God can raise FRUITFULNESS out of the Stones and Stony Wombs.
… He can do it! His Name Is Higher than Barrenness.
Because He has declared in His Words in Exodus 23:26: “There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.”
He says nobody shall be barren in My land; no one shall be Barren.
He is the Fruitful Vine, He sits in Glory forever. He moves those who fear Him from Glory to Glory to Glory and He is here in our midst. His name is JESUS!
He is QUALIFIED to LIFT you and me Up!
Psalms 91:1 says: “He that dwelleth in the Secret Place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
The Bible tells me, He that dwells in the Secret Place of the Most High!
That means God is the MOST HIGH.
He that shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty; God is able, He is qualified, He got the Might, He got the Power!
His Name is Wisdom, He knows how to lift Up, He is able and He will do it for you.
Tonight, He will lift you from Shame, from Barrenness, from Mockery to a NEW SONG, in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
From this Night, as soon as our daddy comes to the Altar; the Lord will speak to our lives in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen!
He is Unlimited in Age; He is the ANCIENT OF DAYS, He says, I AM THAT I AM. He is the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever: The One who is and He is now, the One who was and the One who is to Come!
Because He doesn’t Change, He is never Weak, He doesn’t get Tired, He doesn’t get Old – He is never too Old to carry you.
I don’t know how old you may be, I don’t know how many years you have spent looking for children for grandchildren, for Pregnancy that will stabilized till Full Term, for God should stop stillbirth.
God says even if you are old (according to the definition of mankind) He says that doesn’t matter to Him. He said even till your old age – He says even till your gray hairs.
… So age has no relevance When God wants to do something.
He said no matter how old you are, He will still carry you: He will carry you from the Start, from Head, Cast down and LIFT you Up to Glory.
He beat His Chest and declared in Deuteronomy 22:4: “Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.”
He says I will lift up my head to Heaven to say I LIVE LONG forever!
… Only God can make such declarations.
Somebody say: “Lord I believe You!”
Somebody say: “Lord I Trust You!”
… So, that is settled tonight!
Now let us go to GLORY:
There are many examples (real live stories) so many on this Great Altar.
We hear so many Testimonies on this Altar – so many that we can’t even count them.
And there are some in the Bible as well.
I will like to share some tonight. A good example is in 1Samuel 1:2-7
(we will skip some verses, you can go home and read)
1 Samuel 1:2-7
2 And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
3 And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.
4 And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:
5 But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.
6 And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.
7 And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.
It is the story of Elkanah. Elkanah had two (2) wives: one was Hannah and the other was Peninnah.
The Bible doesn’t lie!
The Bible tells us that Peninnah had children – not one (1) child. But the Bible says that Hannah had no child.
And Peninnah turned herself to be an adversary of Hannah: She provoke Hannah, she made sure that Hannah knows that she had no child.
I have a feeling that when Peninnah’s Children were running around, Peninnah must have told them that: when you see me, call me Mummy so that Hannah will hear (There is nobody to call her mother; nobody to call her that name).
And as a result of this, Hannah was not happy, she could not eat.
… I am sure some people can identify with Hannah here tonight!
But that is not the end of the story for Hannah.
This was not once, it was not just six (6) Months in a Year in which Hannah was unhappy. It happened Years after Years.
The Lord will have Mercy on us here (or reading) tonight – Amen.
But one day (on a Night like this) the Man of God that was sent by God.
Through the Man of God, Hannah had a Divine Visitation;
Eli the Prophet, spoke the Word – as our Daddy will speak the Word to our lives tonight.
And what happened?
The story of Hannah changed. The Lord God Almighty who closed her womb opened the womb.
You see, when Peninnah was mocking Hannah, she didn’t put the Sovereign God into the equation.
But when God showed up, her story changed – Hannah had a NEW SONG.
You will have a NEW SONG in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
Hannah in 1 Samuel 2:1-3, Hannah Prayed, she said: “My heart Praised the Lord. He is Exalted”.
That is the Song you should go and print out and stick or paste it near your bed.
Each morning when you wake up and you Sing it that the Lord who did it for Hannah will do it for you (me) also.
There is a story I know personally of one of our Senior Pastor Wife. For good eighteen (18) years, she didn’t even get pregnant: There was a time she was reluctant to go to Church, because her Preaching was not complete.
Her husband encouraged her, and on a day like this, the Lord VISITED her. She conceived and the doctor told her to stay at home for a while before she traveled back to America to deliver.
She called some Ministers and their wives and Workers and said I would like to have a lunch with them. So she went to Carry the baby from America. when they saw her, they all said whao!
Because she was heavily pregnant, she lifted up her blouse so that they will not think that she stocked her skirt with clothes. And they saw it that it was Real: She went to America and she had Twins, two (2) girls. And her joy was Full.
She came back home rejoicing and everybody was rejoicing because they saw her in her pregnancy state.
When the twins were nine (9) Months old, she conceived again.
So at this time she needed help! She went to America (the same place) and she then had another set of twins again, that is two (2) boys.
Her name now changed to Mummy “DOUBLE DOUBLE”; Daddy DOUBLE DOUBLE; Grandma Double Double.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, you will receive Double, Double of Joy – Amen!
There is another Sister, who was my Personal Assistant (PA). She came hurriedly to me one day that she had been barren. She was over forty (40) years.
She said please, touch my tommy, my back. She said her back was aching her. So she was taking drug (quodine).
She asked me, maybe it was fibroid. And I said I don’t know anything about fibroid. We just Prayed a few Prayer that: “every Plant that God has not Planted in her womb, let it be uprooted.”
… We Prayed that Prayer. At the end, I said she should go to the Hospital and do Test.
She came back and told me the Test was Negative.
She latter went to a doctor with all the pains in her back. When she got to the doctor, he said “you have diseases before, if the disease is still there, we would remove it.”
As the doctor put his instrument into her womb, the heartbeat was beating. I was at the Camp (RCCG Prayer Ground in Nigeria) on that day – for it was on a Special Holy Ghost Service.
The husband called me that I should please Pray for his wife for she was in labour. And I said Labour! Oh my God, Labour. He said it’s like the Pregnancy is coming down and the doctor confirmed that it was twins.
I said what? – Twins?
Anyway what really happened was that God turned her womb to her back and the children were growing in the womb that God has turned to the back. She delivered the Twins; we took the children to Mummy G.O!
At that time, when they were born. Some people said this can’t be possible. The lady told a Pastor that she owed nobody an Explanation!
… Church, you don’t owe anybody an explanation! When God has done it for you.
She said to me that: “My Joy is FULL”.
That shall be your Testimony too, in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
Praise the Name of the Lord – Hallelujah!
May be you are old like grandpa Abraham and mama Sarah. “I have a Covenant with you” said the God to Abraham: Your wife and you shall have a child – a Covenant child.
Abraham said in his heart: “Is it possible?”
Genesis 17:7-21; The Lord established His Covenant in the life of Abraham and Sarah.
Tonight, that Covenant will speak for you as our Daddy climbs the Altar tonight in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
I know what Verse 22 tells us, Genesis 17:22: “And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham”.
It says as soon as God said a Word, He stopped talking to Abraham and went up from Abraham.
Once it is done tonight, it is done forever in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
How about Elizabeth in Luke 1:6: “And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the Commandments and Ordinances of the Lord blameless.”
We were told that both Elizabeth and Zachariah were Blameless and Righteous and the Bible, that doesn’t lie says, “Elizabeth was barren.”
The Bible made it clear that she had no child but on a day like this, the Lord visited Zachariah, her husband and the wife conceived just as the Angel said to Zachariah that, FEAR NOT:
“Your Prayer is heard, your wife shall conceive and you shall bear a son or daughter, there will be no Abortion, no Miscarriage.”
On the Day of Delivery, the Bible says, when the full time of Elizabeth came, the baby come forth – the baby didn’t die, the Mother didn’t die.
On the Day of Delivery, your own baby will not die, the mother shall not die, the father shall not die in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen.
The Bible tells us, the neighbours heard how Merciful God had been and they came to rejoice with her!
I want to believe that those who couldn’t stand the sight of what God has done, they relocated or travelled at that time.
Some women need to relocate because of your Testimony. If they cannot rejoice with you, they have to SHIFT when God LIFT you Up in the Name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
It is either they take excuse for not coming to the Naming Ceremony or they will Rejoice with you in the Name of Jesus – Amen.
HALLELUJAH, PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!
WHAT DOES GOD EXPECT OF ME?
Because God’s ways have Terms and Conditions:
- Surrender to Jesus: Don’t debate with anybody, He alone can lift Up. No man can do it.
He alone can stop the miscarriage, He can make you have your baby nine (9) Months from now, so focus on Him.
When Satan comes to whisper: “You have been coming every Year and every Month”; Just tell him that this September have not come before – because this is the sixth (6th) day in the Month of September, 2019. It is a New Year.
Remind Satan that: “I have not come on the 6th of September, 2019 before.
But Satan is so stubborn, he will point at those who have been coming.
You just tell him that you don’t known their full story but “I know my own story and I am not interested in their story but only interested in my own story.
I know God has a Covenant with me”.
Praise the Name of the Lord – Hallelujah!
When he continue to persist, you tell him, get out behind me you Satan!
2 Timothy 4:7: ” I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”
In other words, Brother Paul was saying, I have kept believing God, and I am still believing God.
Brethren, whatever it may be; keep believing God, keep the Faith, don’t take the Faith off.
When you come to Jesus, keep your Faith and keep your Eyes on God.
- Obey all what God asked you to do.
As our Daddy speaks to us tonight, Obey, listen, hearken and obey now.
Obedient is our key to God Moving in our life. Obedient is our life key.
Look at Brother Peter who was as barren; he toiled for fish all night then Jesus came and said in Luke 5:4:
“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.”
Launch out your nets to the deep! It wasn’t easy because Peter has folded his nets, his nets were heavy – fisher men nets are heavy.
That means that Peter had to untie his nets again, that was not convenient.
But he did it. No matter how inconvenient it may be, obey God. He went and did it and his Destiny started becoming fulfilled.
- Don’t stop Praying.
Prayer is a tactful ladder to connect with God.
Daddy G.O is a Prayer Warrior; he is our father, he is fervent in prayer.
- Put God first and continue to Serve God.
That is what Zachariah was doing when God visited him – Continue to serve God.
Praise the Name of the Lord – Hallelujah!
The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:6: “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
He says that to me: “I am not talking to people”.
He says when my obedient is Complete, then God will be ready to avenge.
Everything that is working contrary to what God is doing in my womb, in my body, Almighty God will Judge them when He sees that I am Completely Obedient to Him.
Now, let us Pray!
Can you please rise? We need to Pray.
Our prayers will be based on 2 Kings 2:19-21;
19 And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.
20 And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.
21 And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.
It is a story of Elisha and the city of Jericho. The Bible tells us about the Bitter Water.
The City was beautiful, but there was a BUT in the life of that City.
So the Elders went to Elisha and said: Man of God, the City is beautiful and Pleasant but the water is BAD and the ground is BARREN.
And Elisha had to give them what they have come to him for: Go! And they went.
He said GO and come back. So they had to go all the way and come back.
He said bring me a New Cruse and Salt in it.
And then Elisha got up and went to the SOURCE of the bitter water and CAST the Salt.
He didn’t pray; because God has already told him what to do.
He just said: “Thus says the Lord and the water was HEALED on to this day.
…. According to the saying of Elisha.
We are going to Pray and say: Father; by Your Mercy tonight, this night go to the SOURCE, The ORIGIN OF EVERY BARRENNESS in my life, and Father HEAL ME TOTALLY to the root, to the foundation in Name of Jesus Christ.
We don’t know the Source. Maybe things that our Parents did in the Past.
Father tonight, let the Healing be Total and Complete to my root, to my foundation, to my beginning.
Disconnect me from what joined me to Barrenness, to Shame, to Reproach, and LIFT me Up in the Name of Jesus.
Do it from my ROOT, wherever the Barrenness came in, you know it, because You are the Alpha and the Omega, you can go through my Past, Father in your Mercy, go to my Past and disconnect me with your BLOOD.
By Your Mercy, disconnect me from every Shame and Reproach, do it tonight oh Lord and I shall give You Praise.
Pray that Prayer: Go to my Foundation because I want Total Healing tonight. Lord get to the Barren Foundation that causes Shame, Reproach, and Disconnect me and lift me Up Lord Into Glory.
You are the Alpha and the Omega, do it tonight. Oh Lord, let my Foundation began to Speak Your Praise for me and the Generation unborn in the Name of Jesus.
Thank You Father, blessed be unto Your Name oh Lord.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
Let us give Him Praise and Glory Now!
