OPENING PRAYER
Lamb of God, the One that takes away the sins of the world we worship You.
We Thank You for the Blood You shed for us; we Thank You for the Salvation of our Souls. Thank You for making everything New for us;
… Please, accept our worship in Jesus’ Name!
Tonight Lord God Almighty as we take another look at what You did for us at Calvary we Pray God Almighty: That You will give us the Grace to FLY OUT of Corruption, FLY OUT of a life of sin; and begin to FLY HIGH into Holiness,
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we Pray – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
Today our Text is going to be taken from Ephesians 2:1-7:
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
We are talking about: FLYING HIGH (PART 2)
You see, man was originally created to be a High Flyer.
When you read Genesis 1:26-28; you will see that the Almighty God put man on TOP – As HIGH as Possible!
He gave man Dominion over ALL the creatures – Man was high up.
And if you read the whole of Genesis Chapter 2; you will discovered that:
- Man was made EXTREMELY STRONG.
When it comes to STRENGTH he was a High Flyer.
WHY? – God put him in charge of a Garden so BIG that if we are to believe Bible Scholars, it is about the size of Lagos State (A State in Nigeria).
Now, to ask a single man to look after a Garden the size of Lagos State; even if it is the size of Redemption Camp – that man must be very very STRONG Physically.
- MATERIALLY he was a High Flyer:
As you will find in that same Genesis Chapter 2.
Because he had more than he needed; God even supplied them with Gold,
… Rivers flowing with gold – PURE GOLD.
Now imagine a man who has a lot of money and there is nothing to buy – He didn’t need to go to any Supermarket to buy anything, you didn’t need to go anywhere!
Yet God gave him Gold – PURE GOLD. Apart from food that could last him forever.
- MENTALLY, he was a High Flyer:
It is there in the same Genesis Chapter 2.
The Bible says God brought every animals He created: Every animals, every birds to him and he named NAME ALL.
Imagine Somebody beating any Professor of Zoology without going to the University;
This man (Adam) NEVER went to any school and yet he is a High Flyer MENTALLY.
- Oh MARITALLY he was in Pure Heaven.
He didn’t even asked for a wife – A wife just came!
And the Bible says in Proverbs 18:22 that: He who finds a wife finds a Good thing and has found favour with God.

- SPIRITUALLY he was a High Flyer
Because he was wearing the Glory of God as a dress.
The Bible says: Himself and his wife , they were ‘naked’.
Naked in the sense that they were not wearing any human dress – Naked but not ashamed because the Glory of God covered them (husband and wife).
And you know what?
They were CONSTANTLY having Fellowship with God.
Man was originally made a HIGH FLYER.
But then, we came to Genesis Chapter 3 and Sin came, and man came crashing down.
And because, like they said in Africa: “A Monkey that is crawling on the ground; Monkey that can no longer climb a tree; that can’t jump from One tree to another.”
Sin came!
And when sin came, several other things followed:
- FEAR:
And you know what the Bible says about fear?
1 John 4:8, the Bible says: Fear has torment.
Man didn’t know anything called fear before; he was a High Flyer.
The first (1st) thing he said when he fell is: “God we heard your voice and we were afraid.”
The moment they sinned, the Glory of God departed, and suddenly they saw they were naked and they were trying to cover their shame.
Proverbs 3:35 says: “The wise shall inherit Glory but shame shall be the Promotion of fools.”
- And then came CURSES
Cuse on the husband, curse on the wife.
And you know very well about curses; you know what they can do!
Curses can reduce a man to NOTHING.
Numbers 20:1-6; when a King saw that he was surrounded by so many People that he thought could become his enemies;
He sent for one False Prophet called Balaam. He said, come and curse these People for me. If you curse them, I know I will be able to overpower them.
Almost immediately the curses came, God chased them out of the Garden – They lost everything in one day.
… Everything they had, came crashing down and became separated from God.
- And it wasn’t long after that that DEATH came.
There wasn’t death before.
But by the time you get to Genesis 4:8 you will now find the first recorded case of murder; and it is the worst type you can think of: One brother killing another – Son of the same father, son of the same mother.
… Because SIN came!
As a matter of fact things got so bad that by the time you get to Genesis 6:5-7; the Bible says God REGRETTED that He created man.
- And then came the FLOOD
That wiped out the first world living just a single-family to keep the race going.
SIN is a KILLER, DON’T TOY within!
It can kill you Physically; it can kill you Materially; it can kill him Mentally; it can kill him Maritally; it can kill your Career and it can SEPARATE you from the God.
But then, there was a Promise in Genesis 3:14-15; when the Almighty God said to the serpent: You have done this, one day the SEED of the woman will CRUSH your head.
And that Promise was renewed in Luke 1:26-33; when God was telling Mary about the BIRTH of our Saviour JESUS.
Because when you read Matthew 1:21; it says: “You shall call His name JESUS for He shall save His People from their sins.”
And Thank God the Promise was fulfilled on the CROSS;
I. And all of a sudden man can lift up his head and say: All the CURSES are GONE!
Galatians 3:13-14; Because Jesus hung on the tree we are delivered from the curses of the Law.
II. So man can say hey: NO MORE FEARS.
Because according to Hebrews 2:14-15, the greatest FEAR that man had; which is the fear of death is GONE now!
Because Jesus Christ became man so that He could die; so He could deliver us from the one who used the fear of death to hold us captive – That is the devil.
III. And then man can say hey: I don’t even need to DIE ANYMORE.
Because in John 14:19 Jesus Christ says: “Because I live, you too would live.”
And the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:51-57; that the real sting of death; what makes death so fearful is SIN.
And with the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, His Blood cleanses from all sin.
IV. And HARDSHIP is no more!
Because when man fell, hardship came – He had to sweat now before he could eat!
But Jesus Christ says: “I have come that you might have life and that they might have it more abundantly” – John 10:10.
V. And SEPARATION from God now can be a thing of the PAST.
Colossians 1:27 tells us: If Christ is in you, you can now hope for Glory – No more shame!
But I am sure you know all these, and by now you must be asking me: WHERE ARE WE GOING?
I will tell you: if you are not a Child of God, I would advise you:
- LOOK UNTO JESUS TONIGHT and you will begin to FLY
Because the Bible says in John 1:29: “Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.”
Take a look at Jesus Christ tonight and your sins can be gone!
Look unto Jesus Christ now and you CAN FLY OUT OF SICKNESS.
Because in John 3:14-16; the Bible says: “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness so must the son of God be lifted up.”
What was that saying?
When the children of Israel were on their way to the Promised Land, and they were attacked by some very Poisonous snakes because of their sins.
And God wanted to bring them healings; He told Moses to make a Brazen Serpent in the shape of the serpent that was destroying the People.
He told him to lift it up: that anyone who will look at that brass serpent, even if they are bitten by the Snake they will live.
Meaning what?
That is number one – If you are not yet a child of God, look unto Jesus; you would fly out of Hardship, you will fly out of fear of Death, you will fly out of Loneliness.
Because He says: “I will never leave you, I will never forsake you!
… But that is not all;
- Which is for those of us who are ALREADY children of God: The time has come for you to FLY OUT OF OBSCURITY.
The time has come for you to fly out of Corruption, the time has come for you to fly out of the company of sinners; the time has come for you to fly out of the life of impurities!
Yes, you are saved by Grace.
Ephesians 2:5, 8-9 – It is by Grace you are saved.
But the Bible says you were once dead in sin, now He has quickened you; He has brought you to life to sin NO MORE.
Romans 6:1-2 says: You are dead to sin and now you are to be alive to righteousness.
So you can’t continue to live a life of sin.
Oh, I’m sure some of you will say: But we hear some Preachers say: “As soon as you are born again, we can now live whichever way we like and you will still make it to Heaven.
… That is a LIE!
Others could believe that, other could continue in that kind of life – You must FLY OUT and say: “As for me, I was living in sin but now I am DEAD to sin, and I am going to live unto Holiness.
Romans 6:19 you have to make it clear to ALL around you: “I am no longer a slave to sin.”
I am sure you have heard that beautiful SONG:
I am no longer a slave to sin,
I am a child of God
You have to FLY OUT of a life of sin!
You have to show the whole world that according to 1 John 3: 8-9: He that commits sin is of the devil – I am no more of the devil.
He that is born of God does not sin – I belong to God, bye bye to sin.
Show the World by your actions, not by your words alone – By your actions that 2 Corinthians 5:17 is true:
“Therefore, if any man be in Christ he is a New Creature; old things have Passed away, behold all things are become New.”
You cannot be a child of God and not be different – Radically different!
Everybody must know that something has happened to you!
All my friends knew, as soon as I became Born Again that something had happened to this fellow. They knew it, they saw it in my action. Not just in my words.
You cannot be a child of God and continue to LIE.
Ephesians 4:22-25; (this is New Testament) – The letter to the Ephesians is considered by many to be the real Letter of Grace.
Ephesians 4:22-25 says: LIE NO MORE!
No more white lie, no more business line, no more exaggeration.
Do you know that exaggeration is another way of lying?
Ephesians 4:28 says: STEAL no more!
You know what stealing is?
When you take what is not your own without the Permission of the owner – That is STEALING.
… STEAL NO MORE!
I told you, when I was a Lecturer at the University of Lagos; that I wrote a letter (Personal letter).
And because of my Position, there we are stationaries on my table for official use.
And I finished writing my letter and I wanted to take an envelope (a University envelope) to Post my Personal letter!
As I stretched forth my hand, God spoke to me and said: “That envelope is not for Personal letters.”
My hand froze! – That envelope is for Official letters.
So I withdrew my hand. But then I said to God: How much is an envelope? – How much?
The Almighty God told me clearly: If you know it is that cheap go and buy yours.
… Stop stealing!
You must FLY!
People must see you up flying different – Completely different: No lying, no stealing.
And like I told some of you in the Past: Don’t steal a man’s timr – Particularly mine!
Somebody would come in: Daddy: I want to see you.
Yes, you are welcome, what can I do for you?
And then they begin to tell stories that are not relevant to why they have come.
“Glory be to God. You are very difficult to see nowadays!
When I asked where you were the first time, they told me you were in India. The next time they said you are in Australia.”
… And I know it is the work of God!
Okay, now you have seen me; thank God I have seen you. What is the Problem?
There is a Problem but actually, it is not a Problem now that I have seen you. The problem is over afterall you have taught us Faith. I mean, all we have to do is believe!
What is the Problem?
That is what I’m trying to tell him – I know that once you Pray, the Almighty God will answer by FIRE. After all, I have heard all these Testimonies.
… You are STEALING MY TIME!
And you know somehing about TIME? – Once it is gone, it is gone!
… No more stealing!
Your standard of Christianity must be the kind that everybody will see you as a HIGH FLYER – No more lying, no more stealing.
If you are not going to contribute to the welfare of somebody – Just by saying: “I just want to come and greet you”
Don’t come and greet me. Do your work, let me do my own – No more stealing of time!
And then, DEFINITELY no more FORNICATION.
I am sure you will be saying: You shouldn’t even be talking about that one at all.
Yes, but we have to; because some of you have reached a stage where you believe that you can do anything.
But the Bible makes it clear in 1 Corinthians 6:13-20 – It says: Your body is no longer your own, you are bought with a Price.
The Almighty God is dwelling in you; you claim it yourself.
You say: “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.”
If He is in you, that means your body is His Temple; and that Temple must be KEPT PURE.
Oh, What about somebody that already I’m engaged to; that we are going to get married?
No, no, no! – NO SEX before marriage!
You are a child of God; others may be doing it; you are not to! You are to fly out, you are to be separate!
And you know what?
According to Ephesians 4:31 it says: No more ANGER.
I have seen People who claimed that they are children of the Living God and Born Again. And when you see them in anger you will know without any doubt ‘it is somebody else who is in charge here!’
And the interesting thing is that when you are talking they will say I was mad.
That is correct! Because when you are angry, you are insane!
And then some of you get angry every time – That should be over!
And you know what?
You can trace the root of anger to PRIDE.
It is only a Proud Person who will say: “How can you do that to me? Don’t you know who I am?”
And then Ephesians 4:29 says: You cannot even be
cracking ROTTEN jokes.
Oh, you have to be different!
You want to FLY? You must be exemplary.
As true children of the Living God, He says: Rotten jokes shouldn’t Proceed out of your mouth.
That your mouth is SPECIAL – Your mouth is for Prayer, for Praising God, for Witnessing, for Prophesying, for issuing Decrees – Not for rotten jokes.
Oh, I want to Fly; how am I going to meet all these conditions that you are stating?
… And I can go on and on, but I don’t want to take too much of your time.
It is going to be expensive to fly! To live the life of a true child of The living God is going to cost you something.
Philippians 3:7-11 tells us what Paul the Apostle said.
He said: “All things that were gain to me, I counted them loss.”
But do you know what he said?
He said: Not only do I want to know Him and the Power of His Resurrection; he said: ‘I even want to know the Fellowship of His suffering.’
Oh, let me tell you the truth: You want to Fly as a Christian there is a PRICE to Pay.
Thank God that Jesus saved your Soul – I Thank Him for saving us by Grace.
Let us go a little bit into the Old Testament here – If you read Daniel Chapter 1 – Daniel and some other Brethren were taken into slavery, and then the King said: Well, some of these boys let us Train them and let us feed them very well.
The Bible says Daniel Purposed in his heart (he was not a Born-again Christian);
He Purposed in his heart – he said: “I am not going to defile myself with the meat of the King, I am not going to eat anything that is offered to idol, I’m not going to drink the wine that is first of all dedicated to one idol or the other.
And then Thank God, there were some People who joined him: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – They said we will be different!
The Bible tells us that by the end of the day; these four (4) shone brighter than the others!
They Paid the PRICE; and then you know what happened in Daniel Chapter 3 – Because I know some of you will say:
But we know Christians who are doing all manners of things: We know the way they live in the offices, we know the way they behave.
Hey! we are not talking about everybody we are talking about you.
Others may want to stay in the Valley, I am talking about those who are about to FLY; who will say ‘I am not going to stay in the valley, I’m going HIGH.
You know the story in Daniel 3:1-end – Shadrach Meshach and Abednego; they said that: “We will NOT BOW, we will not compromise, we refuse to compromise. If we are going to burn let us BURN.
But some of you who are Christians now, in your Place of work they don’t know the difference between those of you who say you are Born Again and those who are not; because you just compromise along with the rest!
You say: if I don’t do what they say they do, they will sack me!
There may be a PRICE to Pay!
But God is on the Throne, He is still the One in control;
I am sure you remembered the Testimony of one of my daughters who because she refused to compromise because of her Position in the company, they sacked her for nothing at all.
And then the Company kept on delaying her settlement; settling others – For seventeen (17) good years my daughter sat at home.
She said God: You know why I am here – I am here because I refused to compromise.
I remembered, we were still in the first Auditorium – A Word came during one of the Holy Ghost Services; that there is someone you are being Persecuted for your Faith. There is a case that has been on and on for years.
… This coming week the case is going to be settled and you will WIN.
The following week the Judge called for the case again and as usual the Company’s Lawyer said they will ask for an Adjournment. The judge said no more Adjournment
She said the only Adjournment you are going to have will be just for few minutes now because I need to go to my Chambers now to write my Judgement.
She came back, announced that: You sacked this woman wrongly; you would Pay her salary for seventeen (17) years Plus Interest.
It may cost you something to STAND OUT.
Oh, I remembered one of my sons when we were in Ilorin (Kwara State in Nigeria) – He heard a Sermon like you are hearing now or reading on the Label of DMC and he said: I didn’t know this is the way that things should be.
… I said, this is it – if you want to SHINE for the Almighty God.
He went to the College where he was teaching with a FORGED certificates and confessed to the Principal: I am sorry sir, I didn’t have the Certificate that I claimed that I have, I want to resign.
The Principal said: Do you know what you are saying? This could land you in jail.
He said that is fine Sir, it is up to you – You can let me go free (I have come to resign) or you can hand me to the Police. They . could send me to Prison.
I won’t die in Prison – The crime that I have committed is not the kind that they will put me to DEATH. I will come out and then I will continue my life.
And while in Prison, I will be a Free man because the burden of having being living a False Life will be gone.
The Almighty God touched the heart of the Principal, he said okay you can go!
That young man became a Bishop; he started his own Ministry and God Prospered his Ministry so Mightily.
… You may have to Pay a Price!
I remembered years ago, not too long ago – Whenever they needed somebody for a sensitive Position, they will come to Ebute Meta (RCCG National Headquarters Parish) and ask for recommendations:
“We want this Post, we need somebody that could be trusted, somebody that can be relied upon and we know you have them here.”
Before this Conference is over; in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; there will be Christians among those of you reading now on the Label of DMC that the whole world will say we can trust this one – Amen.
Or that we know: This one is DIFFERENT.
- And then if you really, really want to FLY you must make up your mind NO MORE GOING BACK.
No going back to what you used to do!
You can’t claim to be a True Child of God, leaving God and then go back to what you said you will never do again.
2 Peter 2:20-22 describes this; because some People will tell you there is nothing wrong about backsliding.
There is! Oh, there is!
Listen to me my son, listen to me, my daughter. Check it for yourself it says that: “It is better never to have been saved, never to have tested of the world to come, never to have tasted of the Riches that is for those who are children of God; and to have tasted it.”
He said: “It Is like a dog going back to its vomit; or a Pig that had been washed going back into the mud.”
No going Back!
You have to make up your mind!
You want to FLY? – You have to make up your mind you are not going to crash.
- And finally, you want to FLY? – You have to STOP HIDING YOUR IDENTITY as a Christian anywhere!
The world must take a look at you and say: You are DIFFERENT.
When they call you a Fanatic that is a way of saying YOU ARE STANDING OUT.
Those who CONFORM don’t STAND OUT!
If you want to become just one of the conformaners, you are not going to Stand Out. You are not going to be a HIGH FLYER.
Some of you can’t even Pray over your food in Public, because you don’t want them to call you a Fanatic
A FANATIC is somebody who loves Jesus Christ More Than anybody else.
Let them call you a Fanatic! – Be known for something.
And some of you, when you Pray over your food in a Restaurant you rush the Prayer so that People around won’t know: “I bless this food in Jesus’ Name – Amen!”
Are you ashamed of Him?
I mean, you have seen People of other Faiths, you have seen the way they hold onto their own Faith.
You see them in the Airport (International Airport) when it is time to Pray, they spread their mat and Pray in Public.
Some years ago, as I was travelling, my children saw me to the Airport. When they were about to Leave, we joined hands and we Prayed – And everybody was looking at us!
Let them know we belong to JESUS, we have nothing to hide.
You want to FLY?
Once you begin to fly, people will see you!
Birds and not crawling, they are not hidden!
I have told you before: When there is a very Special Occasion (State Occasion) and it is time for Refreshment they begin to make announcements:
Heads of State will go to such and such a Place to refresh; Ambassadors, Senators they will go to such and such a Place; Governance and finally they will see AND ALL OTHERS.
You don’t want to be among ALL OTHERS, you want to FLY BROTHER, you want to FLY SISTER. DON’T HIDE where you are.
You can’t be a True Christian and keep your mouth Shut!
You can’t be a True Child of The living God and fail to Witness.
You witness not only with your words, you witness with your Action.
I remembered when we were younger; when we are going in a Bus, we let everybody in the bus know there is a Christian in this Bus – We tell them about our Lord and Saviour.
I remembered years ago: I gave somebody a lift. She was coming from Ilorin (Kwara State Nigeria). She told me she was going to Ibadan (Oyo State, Nigeria).
So I gave her a lift.
As soon as she sat down I began to talk to her about Jesus Christ.
By the time we got to Ogbomosho, she said if you don’t mind I think I will stop here.
I said yes – I know, I will stop you
… But you have heard the Truth – That Word will Pursue wherever you go.
There are many of you – You say you are a Christian: How many People have you share Jesus with?
IT IS TIME TO FLY Brother; IT IS TIME THE FLY Sister – NO MORE HIDING.
I am going to Pray with you that the Almighty God will give you WINGS TO FLY from now on.
*… FLY OUT of Corruption, FLY OUT of Darkness – Let the world know that you are a Child of the Living God.
ALTAR CALL
As for those of you who are not Born Again; like I told you earlier on – RUN TO JESUS, He will LIFT YOU UP!
He will LIFT YOU OUT of Sickness, He will LIFT YOU OUT OF Shame, He will LIFT YOU OUT of Fear, He will LIFT YOU OUT of SIN; into a Brand New Life.
So, if you want to give your life to Jesus, Please CRY UNTO HIM NOW.
Say Jesus Christ: I want to STOP CRAWLING. I want to be a HIGH FLYER.
Please, save my soul, I want to get out of Darkness; I want to come to LIGHT.
Please Lord God Almighty, rescue me from Satan and I will Serve You for the rest of my life.
I am tired of living in rotteness anyway!
What have I gained from living a life of sin? Save my Soul oh Lord and I will serve you forever.
Thank you father!
PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER
My father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name for Your Word.
I want to Thank You for those who have made up their minds that they want to come out of Darkness; they want to come into your MARVELOUS LIGHT.
Please, receive them Lord; Save their souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins, give them the opportunity to become members of the Family of God, and let them Serve You for the rest of their lives.
And my Father and my God, I am crying unto You for ALL those who claim to be Your Children, who are still compromising, conforming, living a life that does not show that they belong to You at all – Father, this very night, SMITE their heart Lord; let them REPENT.
Give them WINGS TO FLY OUT of Corruption, to FLY OUT of Conformity.
Give them wings Oh Lord, for them to begin to live for You as children of LIGHT.
And Lord God Almighty, once they begin to FLY now, don’t let them ever backslide.

Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
Those of you who have given your life to Jesus: Please contact me as soon as Possible, so I can continue to Pray for you.
And those of you who are True Children of The Living God, Please spend some quality time repenting from hiding in the crowd when you should be Standing Out for God.
And call on Him to Please give you WINGS NOW TO BE FLYING for Him.
… And He will GRANT your request in Jesus’ Name – Amen!
