TEXT: ROMANS 8:35-39

Thank You Father! Thank You Lord.

Fathers and Mothers, Brothers and Sisters; can I Please cleave your indulgence.

If you are not Standing, can you Please stand to your feet?

… At the House of Favour Parish, all over the world, let us Stand to our feet.

Over two thousand (2,000) Years ago, the devil scored what he thought was Victory.

They put Jesus on the Cross – On the Front End, it looked like all Hope was lost because that’s what we could see!

… But that’s never the end of the Script, because there is a Back Story.

And the Back Story is always hidden in what is called the Back End.

Most People don’t see the Back End but the Back End is where Answers Lie.

And so as Jesus hung on the Cross and declared: “IT IS FINISHED”; the devil thought to himself, I have arrived!

Little did he know that he just scored a “Own Goal” – “For if the Princes of this world had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.”

You see that Singular Act as it was happening at the Front End; at the Back End, the Constitution of the Foundation of our Faith was being engraved in History.

And we Stand here today, Two Thousand and Twenty one (2021) Years later; for all he thought he meant for evil, the Lord turned it around and have birth to sons and daughters all over the world, who are now called “FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST”!

And so, if like me, you believed that what we are seeing in the Front End does not align with what is on the Back End; let’s put our hands together and Celebrate the Script Writer Who sits in Heaven and makes the Earth His footstool.

When He speaks, it is done! When He commands, it is established.

The One Who is the Alpha and also the Omega; the Beginning and the Ending. The One Who is the First and the Last; the One Who was, Who is and Who is to come! Our Eternal Excellency! Our Joy of many Nations.

Guess Who He is? – He is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, He is the God of Israel.

And He is also the God of Enoch Adejare Adeboye; and the God of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the God of the Body of Christ!

… Come on, you can do better than that!

What PDee would expect is that you Celebrate this Farewell Service, and you let go in the Presence of God.

We didn’t come here to mourn – We came here to Celebrate the Architect of our Faith! Because in Him we Live, in Him we Move and in Him we have our Being!

Are we in Pains? – YES, WE ARE!

But we don’t mourn like them that don’t have Hope – “For Christ in us, the Hope of Glory!”

If you believe that, SHOUT HALLELUJAH – HALLELUJAH!!!

Oh No! – As PDee would say: “That Hallelujah is sitting on a wheelchair.”

SHOUT HALLELUJAH – HALLELUJAH!!!

OPENING PRAYER.

The Creator of the ends of the Earth. Abba Father, the Supreme Majesty, Oba ti a le pe lejo! Oh, Kabi yo osi – The God that we cannot Question: Unquestionable God!

We surrendered to Your Will and we accept Your Will with Thanksgiving.

Lord, this moment is Yours! Holy Spirit, do that which only You can do right now! And take all of the Glory.

In Jesus’ Name we have Prayed – Amen!

God bless you!

You may Please, be seated.

I Profoundly, and I humbly honour the Presence of our Fathers and Mothers in the Faith who are Present here or connected Virtually all around the world.

I Pray that God will make a Full Proof of your Ministries – Amen!

Our Beloved Sister, Temiloluwa (the Widow of Pastor Dare), Oluwatise, Ireoluwa and Araoluwa (his children) GOD IS WITH YOU – Amen!

… It’s not a cliché; GOD IS WITH YOU – Amen!

Our Precious Patriarch and Matriarch of Faith – Our Beloved Daddy and Mummy GO (his Parents): your dear Oluwadamilare is not here. But OLUWA (GOD) IS HERE! And OLUWA (GOD) is involved – Amen!

Pastor Adeoye and his wonderful wife, Pastor Temitope; Pastor Adebolugbe and her wonderful husband, Pastor Akin; Pastor Oluwagbemileke and his lovely wife, Pastor Titilope (all his siblings) – The Holy Spirit will not only comfort you; He will carry you – Amen!

The extended Adeboye Family and In-laws, GOD WILL UPHOLD YOU ALL – Amen!

The Redeemed Christian Church of God and the entire Body of Christ, Please know this: GOD CAN BE TRUSTED.

Never forget that by two (2) Immutable things, which it is impossible for God to lie – By Hope and His Promise, He can be Trusted.

The world has come to watch how we weep and mourn (Hahahaha)! And we will show how we will weep and mourn.

Please turn your Bibles with me to ROMANS 8:35-39. And I will read very quickly. It says:

35 Who shall separate us from the Love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or Persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

… Somebody say Nay!

Say is lt as if you mean it – Nay?

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am Persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor Principalities, nor Powers, nor things Present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other Creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Title of my Short Message this morning is: NOTHING!

Some of the great Signs of a Great General are their STARS.

… You see them decorated with Stars!

But beware of Generals with Stars but without SCARS.

In fact, the Scars of war are as Precious as the Victory of war.

John 16:33 says: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have Peace. In the world ye shall have Tribulation: but be of Good Cheer; I have overcome the world.”

You “WILL”, not you may!

He says you will have tribulations, BUT:

… Let somebody say ‘Thank God for BUT.”

He says: “Be of Good Cheer; I have overcome the world.”

You see, there is a Franchise of our Faith that says that you cannot cry. “Don’t cry, don’t weep – You are showing so much emotions.”

I disagree!

And there is another side that says that: “You are showing so much weakness and not so much Strength.”

I also disagree!

It is okay to weep! It is okay to cry!

John 11:35 – Jesus got to the Tomb of Lazarus and saw a very bad situation, Painful: A friend lost, a father gone, a benefactor left!

And the Bible records in John 11:35, it says: “JESUS WEPT.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, Father’s and Mothers; it is okay to weep.

And this exit is Painful.

For me it is Painful because PDee and I had a private but very Personal Relationship – As a friend, as a Mentor as an Older brother.

Last year I turned Forty (40) and he called me on my Birthday. As he finished Praying, I said: “PDee, what is it like on the Fourth (4th) Floor, because you are Forty Two (42). What is that View like?”

He said (in his Classic way of joke and seriousness): “The Fourth (4th) Floor must be better than the Third (3rd) Floor where you have been before because I have less grey hairs than you!”

The thing entered me a bit. So I now said to him that: “I Decree and Declare that in the next five (5) Years, there will be a transfer of grew hairs!”

… We both laughed about it!

It is Painful because last Sunday (2nd May 2021), we were supposed to meet on the Phone together at 9.00PM – No show!

And it was very unlike him, I said: it’s unlike PDee not to show up for a Meeting at 9.00PM, and he didn’t even like say: ‘Okay ooo, I’m not able to make it.’

So, I reached out to Lima – Pastor Leke (his younger brother) and said: “Please help me notch Bro. that he didn’t come for that Meeting.

I sent an SMS on Monday morning (3rd of May, 2021) to say, “PDee, you haven’t responded to my messages, your phone is switched off – it’s yet to be delivered on WhatApp.”

… And he hasn’t responded to me! – So it is Painful.

We connect at the Levels of Nation and Church – The intersection of Nation and Church.

We could talk hours on: How can the Church thrive in Nations, especially Nigeria. He was Passionate about Nation Building.

… But let’s move on! – So it’s Painful.

WHAT IS THE POSTURE THAT WE MUST TAKE TODAY?

Very important! And there are Three (3) Postures that we need to take:

You see, in the world, Psychologist and Counsellors would sit People down and tell them: Look, don’t worry. There are five (5) stages of grieve – you have to go through it.

No, we don’t go through that!

Let me tell you, there are three (3) Stages, as revealed to me by God.

  1. Our first (1st) Stage is THANKSGIVING.

Somebody said: Thanksgiving in this situation? – YES!

In that same John 11:36-38, the Bible says that Jesus said: Lord I Thank You because I know You have heard me.

Thanksgiving in the midst of great Pain?

Yes, it’s okay to give Thanks. This is how we deal with our own Pain.

For those that are watching in the world, who don’t know our Faith or you are not in this Family of God – This is how we deal with it.

Psalms 103:1 says: “Bless the LORD, O my Soul: and all that is within me, bless his Holy Name.”

It is a command!

Even when your Soul refuses to bless the Lord – “Bless the LORD, O my Soul:” you don’t have a choice, you listen to me, I don’t listen to you, Soul.

David said: “And ALL that is within me, bless his Holy Name.”

The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – “In every thing give thanks: for this (even this situation) is the Will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

  1. WE MUST EXPECT JOY.

Children of God, we have an expectation of Joy.

Why do we have an expectation of Joy?

The Bible says in Psalms 30:5 – “Weeping may endure for a night…”

What did I say about it? I said it is okay to weep! Don’t let People bottle up everything: ‘Dont cry, don’t cry!’

I often tell People, the worse advise given to a man is “BE A MAN! Why are you crying like that?”

What do you mean by: ‘BE A MAN?’

Men have become men, they bottle things up and then then explode at some Point! – Let them cry. Let them let it out!

But when they do that, the Bible says it may endure for a Season – A night but Joy comes.

Let somebody say: ‘But Joy comes!’

Say it like you mean it – ‘Joy is coming!’

… It is a Prophetic statement – It says: But Joy cometh.

  1. As hard as it may feel, as bad as it may be; WE MUST MOVE ON.

… MOVE ON? – YES!

I was deeply encouraged by our father-in-the-Lord, just this last Sunday (9th May 2021) when Apapa Family (to which I belong) was having her 30th Anniversary – EXCEL 2021 RENAISSANCE.

… Which I honestly thought that he will cancel – ‘There is no way Daddy will show up for anything. No way!’

He sat down to record a Message for Forty-five (45) Minutes to send to us – It was a Statement!

DMC NOTES: We can get to access the Full Text of Daddy GO Ministerations to The Apapa Family Members during Excel 2021 Renaissance on this Link:

To say that: ‘People of God, we are Soldiers.’ Yes, manned down, but we regroup and we advance!

A General was hit but we stepped back, we restrategise even in our hearts but we advance! – No Retreat, no Surrender. Hallelujah!

Hear me all across the world: From the Redemption Camp, to the Vatican. Hear me from London to everywhere it is that you are joining from: “We lost a General, but we don’t lose our GOD.”

Yes! We might Retreat a bit – They say in Yoruba dialect “Agbo to fehinti, agbara lo lo mu wa.” (Meaning a He Goat that retreats went to gather momentum or Power).

My Father and my Mother in the Lord; if you ever get to see me or you ever get to hear this – WE MOVE!

Our Generation understands this. Young People you know what I’m talking about – Yes, WE MOVE!

We are troubled on every side – Yes! but WE MOVE!

… Do it for PDee – WE MOVE!!!

Do it for Christ – WE ADVANCE!!!

Flag the Ash Tag – WE MOVE! (#WeMove)

We lost a General, but WE MOVE!

Philippians 3:13-14, the great Apostle Paul said to us:

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I Press towards the mark for the Prize of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

… Let somebody say – I PRESS!

Daddy and Mummy – WE PRESS!!!

The Redeemed Christian Church of God – WE PRESS!!!

My Sister Temiloluwa – WE PRESS!!!

Pastor Adeolu, Pastor Adebolugbe, Pastor Leke – WE PRESS!!!

“We press towards the Mark for the Prize of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus – WE MOVE!!!

And now that I am done doing a bit of Teaching that God wanted me to do; I want to wrap up with the Message that He said I should give.

“Woe unto him that saith Thus said the Lord, when the Lord has not spoken.”

It’s hard for a man that needs the Word himself, to be asked to bring the Word – It was hard!

And I struggled with it and fought it, and rejected it and begged.

God said to me: You will speak. And here is what you should tell the People of God:

That you and I, we have History; we go way, way back!

And I said, LORD, what do you mean?

He brought a Song in my heart – He said: Send this Song to the Family.

This is the lyrics, put it on repeat!

I didn’t know the Song myself. I started looking for the Lyrics. Who wrote the song, I didn’t know!

THE DIVINELY INSPIRED SONG FROM THE FAREWELL SERVICE FOR PASTOR DARE ADEBOYE (PD)

You and I
We’ve got history
We go way, way back

We go way, way back, oh
From the beginning of time, You were always seeing over
You knew every breath I would take
You knew every step I’d make
It was not a surprise to You
Never a surprise to You

*He said: Tell my son and daughter – Daddy and Mummy GO; He said (to the Adeboye Family), “You know we have History.”

In fact He said it in Yoruba dialect, He said “A TI RIN JINA.” (Meaning we have come a long way)!

He said, in the Christ Scheme of Things; this is a Part of the History.

God is my Witness; so I googled, I looked for the Lyrics.

And I didn’t know (Ladies and Gentlemen) that towards the end of the Song, the Scripture He had given me that tied to: “NOTHING shall separate us from the Love of God”, was at the end of the Lyrics.

I had never listened to the song before! It’s by Marvin City Music.

If God was going to give me a Song for the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), while contemporary Song, for God’s sake?

It should have been more of Gospel, like: IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL; BLESSED ASSURANCE that we all know.

This is a Song that only Young People can really know!

But I wished I had time to Prepare the PSF (Pastors Seed Family) Choir to sing the song.

You and I
We’ve got history;
We go way, way back,
We go way, way back!

And towards the end it says: Nothing can separate us!

When I saw it, I jumped out of my skin. And I knew in the moment, that this was the Holy Ghost.

Why the Song? I never knew!

… The Word had come, the Scripture had come, the Song came!

Pastor Leke, just one Assignment for you: Please download that Song. Put it on repeat around the house. Let our father and our mother listen to it. Let them hear it.

And I know that there is a Message hidden in the Message of the Song.

I believed very Strongly and I humbly request we sing it:

We go way, way back,
We go way, way back!
You never let us down.

And now as I wrap up: The ADEBOYE’S, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), the fathers and mothers of Faith in this Place, Christians; we have History with God.

Your History might be that you gave your life to Christ and you take it back.

Your History might be that you come to Church – That doesn’t make you a Christian or a Believer.

“Parking a Bicycle in a garage does not make it a Car.”

You might spend time in Church, name it, claim it, and even be Tongue talking. Are you on your expressway to Heaven, like PDee?

He is not here, he is gone!

ALTAR CALL

And so, I’m begging God’s People this morning; the one (1) Gift you can give to this Great Man, is to go and surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ.

All heads bow, all eyes closed; I’m not calling you out! But if you are in this Place, Online, all across the world or reading now on the Label of DMC; if you want to make a Simple Confession to be able to say to God: You and I have not started our own History, and we will go way back with You; let me see your hands up.

God bless you!

Now I need you to Place that Right Hand – Just Place it on your Chest and repeat after me (wherever you are or as you are reading this Message on the Label of DMC).

Say Heavenly Father: I come before You with Humility. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive with my heart His Gift of Salvation.

Save me to the Uttermost.

Beginning from today, I start a New Journey and a New History with You.

In Jesus’ Name – Amen!

The rest of us, shall we Stand to our feet for just one (1) minute Please?

You and I
We’ve got History
We go way, way back.
We go way, way back!

You never let us down
You never let us down!

Nothing can separate us,
Nothing can separate us.

CLOSING PRAYER

Father Thank You for Your Word.

The entrance of Your Words gives Light and gives Understanding.

But above all, I Pray that this Light that You have sent Oh Lord Your Words to heal. “Because You said You will send Your Word to heal and deliver from every destructions.”

Let this Word HEAL; Let this Song HEAL;

Thank You Holy Spirit!

In Jesus’ Name we Pray – Amen.

The last thing we will do before I go is that a General is about to be Ushered out of this Place.

And please, let us Stand at attention – Wherever you are, i might not see you, but God sees you.

Please, Stand Up!

And at the mentioned of the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, you will Clap and we will celebrate his exit as WE MOVE!!!

Put your hands together.

In the Name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit – Celebrate the Man, the Great Man, the Legend; the Brother the Friend, the Husband, the Son. The Leader, the Soldier!

Come on, clap – WE MOVE!!!

The Redeemed Christian Church of God – WE MOVE!!!

Children of God, all over the world- WE MOVE!!!

Thank you so much for staying all through to read.
