Lord, we Thank You for this Wonderful Day.

We Thank You for this Glorious Day – Thank You for the Month of September. The Month that signifies Fruitfulness.

Thank You because it is by Your Mercies that we are not consumed.

We ask Oh God that Your Word – The Seed of Your Word which would be Planted in our hearts today; that it will bring forth much Fruit in the Name of Jesus.

It will fall on the Good Soil of our heart in the Name of Jesus.

And at the end of everything; You will take all the Glory.

In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen

I have been given the Topic: FRUITFULNESS

And I would like to take my Bible Text from: Isaiah 54:1-3; which says:

1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

2 Enlarge the Place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine Habitations: Spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.

3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy Seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate Cities to be inhabited.

This speaks to us about the fact that it is the Will of God for everyone to be Fruitful.

It is never the Plan of God for anyone not to be Fruitful at any Point of their lives.

Fruitfulness is God’s Will for Mankind – It was one of the things that was commanded when God blessed us.

So, Genesis 1:28 tells us – It says: And God said, be Fruitful, be Multiplied …

And before we can say Multiplication can come now; the other Part of the Blessings that was Proclaimed unto Man can come to Pass.

The first Part of it is being Fruitful.

So, this means that Fruitfulness is a Fundamental Blessing – It is a Primary Blessing of every Living Being (Hallelujah).

… It is a Primary Blessing of every Living Being!

So, what does Fruitfulness speak of when you hear Fruitfulness? What does it speak about?

Number 1

Fruitfulness speaks about Preservation.

It is only when a Person reproduces after its Kind – Whether a Person, whether an animal, whether a Plant; it is only when they reproduce after their Kind that is when they are Preserved and that is when they do not go out of extinct – That is when they do not go into extinction

So, if you noticed any animal that you don’t see, that we don’t see around in the world now; it is Probably because at some Point, Production stopped.

Fruitfulness stopped and then Probably it was cut short at one Point or another.

So, it is very important that for there to be Preservation.

So, when we want to see the Preservation of lives, the Preservation of Generations; then we are talking about Fruitfulness.

Genesis 1:28 again says: Without Fruitfulness, we cannot Replenish the Earth and we cannot Subdue it.

I’m going to read that Verse of the Scriptures so that we don’t miss out any Part of it

It says: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be Fruitful, and Multiply, and Replenish the Earth, and Subdue it: and have Dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every Living Things that moveth upon the Earth.

It means that without Fruitfulness, we cannot Multiply; without Fruitfulness we cannot Replenish the Earth; without Fruitfulness we cannot Subdue the Earth; without Fruitfulness we cannot Dominate the Earth – Hallelujah!

Number 2

Fruitfulness speaks about Multiplication.

I mentioned it earlier that the first and the basic.

I said the Primary Plan of Fruitfulness, of the blessing is being Fruitful.

And then the next Part that you can see, that you can see that is okay – This is Fruitfulness

And then what you can deduced from there is Multiplication.

Let’s open our Bible to Matthew 13:8 – It says:

But other fell into Good Ground, and brought forth fruit, some in an hundredfold, some in a sixtyfold, and some in a thirtyfold.

It means that when the Seed falls to the Ground; it does not come forth as a Seed.

When it is Planted, it does not come forth as just one.

When we Plant a Seed of maize, it does not come forth as just a corn of maize – It Produces a Whole stem. A stem that is able to then reproduce different and several other stems.

So, when a Fruit is being Planted, when a Seed is being Planted; it Produces much more Seeds.

And that also speaks about the Preservation I spoke about earlier – Hallelujah!!!

So, when we are talking about Fruitfulness; it speaks about Multiplication.

So, anywhere you see Multiplication, it means that there is Fruitfulness abounding in there.

Number 3

The Third thing that
Fruitfulness speaks about is Flourishing –
Flourishing, to be Fruitful means to flourish.

It Proceeds therefore that flourishing comes from beung Fruitful.

So, when you are Planted or when a Seed is Planted; it gives itself a chance to flourish.

When a Person is Planted, you give yourself a chance to flourish.

When you are Planted to be Fruitful you give yourself a chance to flourish.

Psalms 92:13-14 says:

13 Those that be Planted in the House of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

It means that for you to be Fruitful; you have to be Planted.

And then when you are Fruitful, it means that you don’t stop just at the Point of Fruitfulness – It means that you can flourish even from being Fruitful.

Hallelujah!!!

Psalms 1:3 says that: Those that are Planted in the House of the Lord.

It says a Blessed Man shall be like a free Planted by the Streams of water.

It says it brings forth its Fruit in Season and out of Season because it is constantly Planted.

It has Positioned itself or himself or herself – Has Positioned themselves in a Place where they can constantly bring forth, they can constantly be Fruitful.

If you don’t Plant to be Fruitful; there is no way you can flourish.

It is a movement – It is from one level to another.

The first level is being Fruitful and then it Proceeds to Multiplying. And after Multiplication, it goes to flourishing.

Hallelujah – Glory to God!

Fruitfulness can either be tangible or intangible

How do I mean by that?

Tangible in the sense that it can be seen –
It is like Producing after your Kind; like giving birth to a child, like Planting a Seed.
Bringing forth Fruit as a Plant or birthing after its Kind like an animal.

So, that is tangible – It is something that can easily be touched, that can easily be seen.

And then Intangible –
That is you may not be able to touch it but you can feel it, you can sense it.

Such examples are the Spiritual Fruitfulness, Financial Fruitfulness, Material Fruitfulness and so on and so forth.

So how can I be Fruitful?

And the reason why I mentioned Tangible and Intangible is because a lot of us when you hear about Fruitfulness; the only thing, we narrow it down to just when we want to give birth to a child.

But in everybody’s life; God expects us to be Fruitful in every areas of our lives:

I. And this can be those things that are seen and things that cannot be seen.

II.They can be things that can be touched and things that may not be touched.

But God wants to make sure that in every areas of our lives; we are being Fruitful.

So, you do not leave out any Part of your Life because it is the Will of God that your Life Produces Fruit – Hallelujah!!!

So how can I be Fruitful?

Number One: A Seed must be Planted.

A Seed has to be Planted – There is no Fruit without a Planting.

Genesis 8:22 – It says that: As long as the Earth remains; it says Seed Time and Harvest, it shall not cease.

So, there has to be a Planting; there has to be a Seed to be Planted.

And guess what? – You have the Seed.
You are either the Seed or you have the Seed to Plant.

Hallelujah!

John 12:24 – It tells us that: Verily, verify, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

So, when a Seed is Planted; it gives itself a chance to grow and to Multiply a nd to flourish.

You do not give yourself a Chance to grow if you don’t Plant yourself.

I mentioned earlier that a Person that is Planted in the House of the Lord.

The Scriptures says the Person that is Planted in the House of the Lord they shall be Flourishing.

Even in their Old Age, they will still keep Producing.

So, until a Seed is Planted; until a Seed is Planted; there can’t be Fruitfulness.

A Seed of a Man for example – A Seed of a Man into a Woman Produces a child.

A Seed Planted into the Soil Produces a Plant.

Even Jesus Christ was given as a Seed by God because when He died and rose from the dead; He brought many more sons to God – Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 3:6 tells us about Spiritual Fruitfulness.

It was because Jesus Christ was Planted as a Seed, God gave him up as an Offering, He died and that was when He was able to bring more Souls to Him.

1 Corinthians 3:6 says that: I have Planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the Increase.

So, even in our Christian walk with God, there has to be a Planting.

Number 2: You must create room for your Harvest.

You must create room for Fruitfulness – You must create room for it.

I read in our Bible – Isaiah 54:1-3.

It says cry aloud.

But it didn’t just stop there, it says stretch forth, break forth on your right and on your left

That is the act of your Faith.

We say Faith without works is dead.

The Bible says Faith without works is dead.

Your Planting is your work but you creating room for it is you applying your Faith to it.

When a farmer goes to Plant, he does not create a Farm house according to the size of the Seed he Planted. He creates a Farm house according to the Harvest that he is expecting

What room are you creating for the Fruitfulness that God has Promised you?

If you do not create a enough room for it:

I. You will give room for Wastage.

II. You will give room for devourers.

Because they are not well kept, because they are not well used – Hallelujah!

So Isaiah 54:1-3, I already read that before; it speaks about breaking forth,
Creating room,
Stretch forth to your right and to your left

Why do you think that the Prophet told the widow to borrow Vessels?

And to keep pouring the oil (To keep borrowing the Vessels)!

And guess what? – The oil stopped at the Point when the Vessel stopped.

If that woman had one hundred (100) more Vessels, the oil would have continued to flow.

It means that the level of room you create determines the level of Fruitfulness that is coming in.

You must create room for the Harvest you are expecting and that is your Faith being put to work.

Now, God hates Fruitlessness – It is never His Will for anyone not to be Fruitful.

John 15:2, tells us about Jesus telling us that He is the Vine. And for any tree that does not bear fruit, He will cut it down.

And we remembered the Story of the fig tree in Matthew Chaptee 21 – When Jesus got to a fig tree and He needed a fruit, He needed to eat something and He didn’t find something –
He didn’t find anything.

What did Jesus do? –
He cursed the tree.

So, when you don’t give yourself a chance to be Planted, and you are not Planning to be Fruitful; you are giving yourself a chance to be an enemy with God.

The Fruitless tree was cursed!

So, to those that God has given Gift, Talent – God has given us so many Resources, He has given us Resources and He expects Fruitfulness, He expects us to use those Talents, those Gifts to bring Glory to His Name.

He cannot give us as Light into the world and we hide under the bushel – He expects a large Harvest!

Look at the Parable of the Talent in Matthew 25:14-30.

The Parable of the Talent speaks about God giving us Seeds to plant – He gave one, five (5); He gave one, two (2); He gave another one, one (1).

It means that for everyone, there is nobody God has left without a Seed – God has given you Talent, He has given you Resources, He given you People, He has you things that you can sow.

You can sow yourself as a Gift and become Fruitful by it.

The question is: Those things that God has given to you; what are you doing with them?

We just want to come and hear: Be Fruitful but what are you doing about the Seeds that God has Placed in your hands?

What are you doing about your Talents?
About your Resources?

Look at what the Master did to the Man with the one (1) Talent that didn’t come back with anyone – The Master collected the one with him and gave it to Someone that even had more.

And that is the reflection of Jesus cursing a tree that did not have a Fruit.

What are you doing with them?

I. What are you doing with the Resources that God has given to you?

II. What are you doing with the Talents and Gifts that God has given to you?

III. What are doing with so much that God has given to you?

To whom much is given, much more is expected.

Let’s bow our heads as we Pray!
