GENERAL PRAYERS
- Let’s begin to Praise the Name of the Lord – Give Him all the Glory, give Him all the Honour, give Him all the Adoration. Bless His Holy Name.
Thank Him for all that He has done for you since the beginning of the Year – Thank Him for Preservation, give Him all the Glory and Honour because your Appointed Time has come.
Worship Him, Thank Him for Protection, for Provisions, for Defense against all the attacks of the Enemies.
It is a Thanksgiving Sunday, so Thank the King of Glory – The Unchangeable Changer, He is forever to be Glorified Oh Lord.
Thank You Almighty Father.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
- Today, we want to Pray very Specially for all Landlords and Land Owners.
Now, I want all of you to Pray – You Tenants Pray because of the Law of Harvest because by the Special Grace of God, you are going to be Landlords one day – Amen.
So, with all your hearts everybody, I want you to Pray for all Landlords and Land Owners that God should grant them Long Life, Good Health; so that they can enjoy the Fruits of their Labour.
Open your mouth and Pray!
Please Lord be with them, Help them, Protect them from evil, let it be well with them.
In Your Own Wonderful Way Lord, Stand by them, Support them, let them live long, let them enjoy Divine Help, let them enjoy the Fruits of their Labour.
Thank You Father.

- Now, let us Pray for all Tenants and their families that God the Great Provider will send Help to all Tenants, Provide for them, Prosper them so that they won’t die as Tenants.
You are the Great Builder Lord – The Bible says that except the Lord builds a House, they Labour in vain they that builds it.
You are the One who can build Houses for all Tenants, Lord we are Praying today that You will build Houses for them so that they won’t die as Tenants.
Thank You Father.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
- Now, I want us to Pray for all those who suffered Losses at the Tragic destruction of a House that was being built in Lagos – That the Almighty God will comfort them and that this kind of evil will never happen again.
And that you will Pray for the Governor, Pray for His Government, Pray for all those who had suffered as a result of what happened; that the Almighty God will Put an end to this kind of Tragedy – No more houses collapsing in Lagos State or anywhere else.
Please, open your mouth and Pray.
Please Lord, have Mercy on all of us and Put an end to sorrow in the Life of everyone.
Please, Comfort all those who are in sorrows at this moment.
Please Lord, intervene and have Mercy.

Alpha and Omega, we Worship You.
We Thank You for January, we Thank You for February, we Thank You for March, we Thank You for April, we Thank You for May, we Thank You for June, we Thank You for July, we Thank You for August, we Thank You for September, we Thank You for October and now we are Thanking You for November – Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
Lord God Almighty, we are committing all Landlords and Land Owners into Your Hands; Please Lord be with them, Protect them from evil, let them live long, let them enjoy Good Health, let them enjoy the Labours of their hands, bless them and bless their families.
And we are Praying for all Tenants – My Father and my God, don’t let any of Your Children die as Tenants – Prosper them also, let them also become Landlords, Stand by them, Provide for them, Promote them.
And Lord, all those who are in sorrow at this moment, comfort them. And in all our States Lord God Almighty, let there be no more Tragedy.
Today in a very Special Way; visit Your Children.

ANNOUNCEMENT
- You know that Next Month (December, 2021) by the Grace of God, we will be having our Holy Ghost Congress.
And the Theme for the Holy Ghost Congress is: “THE SIEGE IS OVER”.
So, I Thank God that He has kept you thus far because in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, you are not going to enter the New Year under any Siege – Amen.
So, Please inform your friends, your Relatives, your co-workers and even your Enemies that the Siege will soon be over and that they should Plan to be Part of the Holy Ghost Congress 2021 that is coming.
Now, this morning; we have have been asked to discuss: “GREAT EXPECTATIONS”.
That is a very Big Topic and there is no way that we can finish it in thirty (30) Minutes.
But we will try our best, we will do what we can do and then let the Almighty God finish the work Himself.
Proverbs 24: 13-14
- My son, eat thou Honey, because it is Good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: (That is a very Good Recommendation for your diet, coming directly from the Word of God).
- So shall the Knowledge of Wisdom be unto thy Soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy Expectation shall not be cut off.
… Great Expectations – Two (2) Big words!
The “Great” is just the Adjective while “Expectations” is the Noun.
But if we really want to spend time, we could talk about “Expectations” and then talk about “Great” – But that will take a lot of time.
So, maybe we will just concentrate on “Expectations” and then Put the word “Great” as in the meaning of wanting something very eagerly.
What do you mean by Expectations in the Language of a Market Woman – That is the one that everybody can understand and not in the Language of the Academicians?
- You can say that Expectations means: What you want to become.
For Example: If you are a Prince, your Expectations will be that one day when your father has grown to very Old Age and finally goes to where Elders go; then your Expectation is that you will become a King.
… That should be a Good Expectations for a Prince!
- Or you could say: Expectations is what I want to have, something that I’m expecting will soon be in my Possession.
For Example: When a Woman is Pregnant, her Expectation is that very soon, she would have a Child.
I don’t know whether the Store is still there or not but there used to be a Store in London where they sell Children Materials (Materials for New Born Babies) and the name of that Store is “Great Expectations” – And their Customers are usually Pregnant Women because you are Pregnant and whatever is inside there, you are believing God that it would be Great.
- Expectations on the other hand could be defined as: What I want to achieve.
The Student in the University is expecting that when he or she will Graduate and get a Bachelor of Art (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or whatever.
But of course, when you now become a Graduate; you will discovered that unless you tell somebody that you are a Graduate; Nobody can know – You are a Mister before you get the Grade and you are still a Mister after.
So, you will say: I want to be called Doctor (Dr) so that everybody will know that I’m different – So, you Press forward, get a PhD and People begin to call you Doctor (Dr).
And then one day, you are driving in your car and you see a Notice Put up by a Seller or Repairer of Watches and he Put there – Doctor of Watches.
… And you say: Oh God, so there are all kinds of Doctors.
Then you say that I think I will Press forward and become a Professor so that when People want to call me, they will call me: Prof and everybody will know that this one is not a Doctor of Watches.
… And then you became a Prof and you discovered that there were so many Prof before you.
And you then said that I will move forward and become a Vice Chancellor (VC) – And then of course you become a Vice Chancellor (VC) and you discovered that there is nothing more to become.
- But if we ask everybody – Young and Old; can you tell us your Greatest Expectations?
A very large Percentage will say Money – I want to be Rich.
And you can’t blame them because sincerely speaking, the difference between the Landlord and the Tenant is what? – Money!
Infact, the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 10:19 – It says: Money answereth all things.
You have money, you can buy foods, clothes, you can buy even the house from your Landlord – You make him an Offer that he cannot refuse.
The house is worth Ten Million Naira (#10,000,000) and you tell the Landlord that I want to buy your house and he says who told you I wanted to sell?
You said: This house is worth Ten Million Naira (#10,000,000) sir but I will give you Thirty Million Naira (#30,000,000).
The Landlord will say that I will go and buy land somewhere else; bring the Money!
You know that there is a building called “Millennium Dome” in London.
When they were opening the Place, I went there to see what was there.
And one of the Inscriptions on the Wall is: When Money speaks, Nobody checks the Grammar.
In other words, if a Rich Man is talking and he says: “He wented” – Nobody will care.
And when you are raising Funds, that is why they don’t invite Professors to Fundraising because all they will do is to blow Grammar.
… And we are not asking for Grammar now; we are asking for Money.
I Pray that in the Name that is above every other names that you won’t die Poor – Amen!

However, Money has challenges – It just does not satisfy.
That is what the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 5:10 – It said: You want Silver, you won’t be satisfied with Silver; you want Abundance, you won’t be satisfied with Abundance.
The more you have it, the more you want it.
Infact the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 5:12 – It said: The Sleep of the Poor Man is sweet but the Abundance of the Rich won’t even let him sleep.
I mean you woke up 5am in Mushin (Lagos State Nigeria) to go and catch a bus to take you to work and you work from Morning to Evening.
By the time you returned home, maybe around 9pm because of Holdup, whatever your wife gave you to eat, you finish it.
It doesn’t matter if there are ten (10) of you living in One Room, the moment you hit the floor, you are gone
But do you know what? – There are those who are Rich, who are very miserable!
And I can tell you that because I have mixed with some of them – Some of them have Problems deciding what they will eat for breakfast (Not that they don’t have, they have too much).
I have told you before – I visited a Rich Man, I had to spend the Night there. The following Morning, he said that I must wait for breakfast.
It was time for breakfast and I was hungry and the Cook was asking him – Sir, what will you have for breakfast?
He said: What was it that I ate yesterday? – They told him.
What of two (2) days ago? – They told him.
Finally, he decided that he will eat bread and egg.
And then the Cook ask: How do you want the egg? – Boiled, Fried, Scrambled, Omelette (DMC NOTES: This is a cuisine, an omelette or omelet is a dish made from beaten eggs, fried with butter or oil in a frying pan. It is quite common for the omelette to be folded around fillings such as chives, vegetables, mushrooms, meat, cheese, or some combination of the above) and he went through all that. Finally, he decided that he wants the egg boiled.
How do you want it boiled? – Half Boiled, Medium Boiled, Rear Boiled – Finally he decided on Medium Boiled.
Okay, how many Minutes of boiling?
By the time he finished; I was saying: God have Mercy!
Finally, the Cook turned to me and say: What do you want sir?
I say everything – Just make sure it is Plenty.
… I don’t have money but I have Appetite.
Those of you who have no Money but can eat; let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
And one of the biggest Problem of Money because you get to a Stage after you have bought this, bought that, bought everything that Money can buy; People will ask you: Why are you still Pursuing Money?
Because this fellow called Solomon – You know that he was a very, very Rich Man.
He was the one who wrote Ecclesiastes 2: 1-11 – You can read it at home!
He said: Everything anybody can want I got it. At the end of it he said: Vanity Upon Vanity, all is Vanity.
I mean when I read about a Man, one of the Arab Princes who had five hundred (500) Rolls Royce – This is Madness, with everyone of them Custom-Built.
How many cars are you going to ride in one day? – He just say: Buy me another one!
DMC NOTES: KING WITH HIGHEST NUMBER OF ROLLS ROYCE: SULTAN HASSANAL BOLKIAH
With Five Hundred (500) cars, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah has the largest Collections of Rolls-Royce Vehicles.
As of 2016, the Sultan of Brunei was the wealthiest Monarch in the world and his cars fit the bill as well.
Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah has the largest collection of Rolls-Royce cars, which are around 500 Bespoke Vehicles.
His most beloved is a Rolls Royce Phantom VI, which was custom-made with a slanting rear that aids Aerodynamics and has scissor doors.
He calls it the Rolls-Royce Cloudesque and it has a redesigned boot that looks like a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph.
The Total Worth of his car collection is around $4 billion.
Cost: Around $600,000 for the Customised Vehicle.
Some People will say: I’m not Struggling for Money for myself anymore; I am struggling for Money so that I can leave it for my children – Oh, that sounds Good!
But the Elders has a saying in Yorubaland: You can’t rejoice over Children because it is the one who is buried who has children!
Do you know what they are saying?
You are not even sure you have a Child until you are dead – And that is the Plain Truth!
And in any case, the Bible has a lot to say about that – It says that you are struggling you want to make more Money for your Children; do you know how these children will use the Money after you are gone?
It says that there is a Man who is Labouring hard but he doesn’t know what will happen after he is gone.
There is something far, far better than you laying up Mighty Treasures for your Children – It is that these Children will Prosper while you are still alive so much that they won’t need your Money when you die!
I have told you the Story of a friend of mine – Very Wealthy Man, died of Old Age.
And when they are reading his Will, he said: My Mercedes Benz 280 (And that was a Big Thing in those days); I give to my First Born.
The other Children began to laugh – They said: Congratulations!.
Brother, we will see where you will Park it because he already has five (5) Mercedes Benz cars himself.
Your son will be Greater than you in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen!
The Bible tells us in Luke 12:16-21 – It tells us the Story of a Man who has so much that he says now let me relax, I don’t need to Struggle anymore, I will just sit down and eat.
And God says that you are a Fool because you don’t even know if you will be around tomorrow.
That is why the Bible says in Matthew 6: 25-34 – It says that everything that you are running after even the Unbelievers are running after them.
*God knows what you Need – God knows that you can’t eat more than one Meal at a time, He knows that you can’t wear more than a dress at a time.
If you wear more than one, they will send you to Aro (Aro is a town in Abeokuta, Capital City of Ogun State in Nigeria where there is a Psychiatric Hospital – Hospital for Mentally Disorder People).
It says: Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and it’s Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
What is your Expectations? – Money; it won’t satisfied you as it can only frustrate you.
- But some People want Fame!
I. They want to be famous – That is their Ambitions.
II. They want Power – Political Power.
This is Year 2021 – Some People are already getting ready to kill themselves over Year 2023:
A. And they don’t even know know whether there will be Year 2023.
B. They don’t even know if by Year 2023, if they will still be around.
There is Nobody here who can say for sure that they will still be around by tomorrow – Nobody!
It is God who determines who will still be around by Year 2023.
Somebody said to me: Sir, who do you think should be the President in Year 2023?
I said: President of where? – He said: President of Nigeria.
How are you sure that there will be Nigeria in Year 2023? – Can you swear?
… I Pray that there will be Nigeria o, don’t misquote me.
But are you sure?
And the Bible made it Abundantly Clear – Jeremiah 45:5 says: Are you seeking for Great Things for yourself, seek them not. That is the Advice of God!
And then in 2 Chronicles 26: 3-21 – We see that Power corrupts. Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely.
There was a Young King, when he just got to the Throne he was a Good Boy (God said so).
Then Power came and he forgot God – He died a Leper.
In 1 Samuel 15: 1-31 – There was this Young Boy called Saul (A very Humble Boy).
When they said that they want to make him King; he went to hide.
But when he became King – Do you know that if you want to be Popular, very soon you will become a Slave of the People because you want to be Popular.
… Oh, God have Mercy on those of you who are Popular – You don’t even know what you are missing.
Can you see a Governor driving through Lagos and then by the roadside he sees somebody selling Boli (Roasted Plantain) and he asked the Motorcade to stop so that he can buy some Boli (Roasted Plantain) – No way!
That is why I Thank God that I am not Popular – Anytime I’m driving and I see Boli (Roasted Plantain) by the roadside, I will stop the Driver, buy my Boli (Roasted Plantain) and eat it.
… And if you don’t like it, that is your headache.
But some Pastors want to be Popular and so they don’t tell you the Truth – They tell you what you want to hear. They won’t even ask you to be Holy.
I will tell you the Truth – Whether you like it or not.
Next time that I ask you to vote for me, don’t vote.
Those who are saying Hosanna today, will say crucify him tomorrow – That is in the Bible.
King Saul wanted to become Popular and he began to disobey God.
When the Man of God asked him: Why have you done this?
He said that I was afraid of the People.
You want to be Popular, you become a Slave of the People
True Promotions only comes from God – That is what the Bible says.
Promotion doesn’t come from the East or from the West or from the South; Promotion comes from God. He raises up one and He brings down another.
And if He decides to Promote you, then you will be Promoted.
… Seek Him first and all other things He will add.
Let me just take two (2) People as Examples as Children of God.
- This is a Fellow called Apostle Paul – Read about him from Philippians 3: 7-11.
He said: Everything that I have I surrendered it all that I may win Christ, that I may know Him and the Power of His Resurrection.
He said that if I can just know Him, then I will be able to do Exploits for Him.
Daniel 11:32 says: They that do know their God shall be Strong and they shall do Exploits.
What is Exploits?
This is something that when you do it, everybody will know that Only God can do this!
I have told you the Story before about a Former President of Nigeria and Myself – We are very close.
So one day, we are relaxing together and all of a sudden, he just asked me a Question: Who is Greater – The President or The Pastor?
I said the Pastor of course!
He said that I know that is what you will say.
He said I am the President, I said Congratulations.
He said that if I decree that everybody should go home and there must be curfew from 5pm till 6am; he said who will come to your Service?
I said I know that you have that Power; but do you have the Power to Pray for the Lame to walk? Can you Pray for the barren to conceive? Can you Pray for the Blind Eyes to open?
… Somebody is Greater than Somebody!
How many of you will love to do Exploits for God – Let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Paul said that: I want to win Christ, I want to know Him, I want to know the Power of His Resurrection – The Power that God gives, the Power that comes from the Holy Spirit and not the Power that Human Beings gives.
And the Bible tells us in Acts 19: 11-12 – It says: God Performed Special Miracles by the hands of Paul so that from his body; Handkerchiefs, Aprons were taken to the sick and the sick were healed. And Demons began to see his Handkerchiefs coming and they ran.
I was rejoicing when my Secretary was sharing a Testimony I think during The RCCG National Convention 2021.
I wasn’t in and they brought one Blind fellow from Ibadan and they said that we want to see daddy GO as we believed that if he Prays for us that this fellow will receive his sight.
He (My Secretary) said that I’m not the General Overseer as I’m just his Secretary and so you have to come back.
But all of a sudden, he has an Inspiration – But I have some Handkerchiefs that daddy has Prayed over. He took the Handkerchiefs and Placed it on the fellow and he Prayed.
… Three (3) days later, the fellow came back seeing!
How many of you will want your Handkerchiefs to raise the dead? – Let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
… That is Power, that is the kind of Power that you must expect! That is the kind of Expectations that we are talking about!
- And then Moses.
In Exodus 33: 17-23; when God said: Moses okay, anything you ask I will do.
He (Moses) said: Show me Your Glory – I want to see Your Glory.
The Glory of everything will fade – There is nothing you see today and you think is Glorious; it is going to Pass away. But the Glory will be forever.
God told Moses that you have asked for a very dangerous thing – If you see me, you will die but I will give you just a Glimpse of my backside.
He (Moses) said: Half Bread is better than nothing and he got just a Glimpse of the backside.
And from that day on, his face shone like a Sun so that he has to cover his face before he can speak to People.
The Bible says in 1 John 3:2 – It says one day we are going to see Jesus Christ and when we see Him we shall be like Him.
How many of you will like to see Jesus Christ one day?
And your Expectations shall be the Second Coming – He is Coming Again!
Many of us has even forgotten that He is Coming Again but He is Coming.
Some People are so busy Pursuing Money, Pursuing Pleasure, Pursuing this, Pursuing that – They have forgotten that the Trumpet can sound before tomorrow Morning.
… I am looking forward to seeing Him.
I got a Glimpse of Him before, way back in 1976 but He was far away.
After I saw what I saw, that is when Holiness became my Theme Song.
Because the Bible says: Without Holiness, no Man shall see God.
… I want to see Him!
I am looking forward to His Second Coming because when He comes again. The Bible made it clear in Revelation 21: 1-6; there will be no more tears.
Do you know what?
As long as as we are in this world according to the Word of God that says that we must weep with those that weep.
Even if nothing happened to you and it happens to somebody else, you are to join in the weeping.
Many of us has never tasted sorrow – I Pray that in the Name that is above every other names, you will never taste sorrow – Amen.
But like I was telling a friend of mine not too long ago – When something happens to a Member of the Congregation (Maybe his wife died, his Child died etc); we Pastors we know what to say.
We already have it figured out – Hey, don’t bother, don’t sorrow like Unbelievers, afterall the fellow has gone to a better Place et cetera et cetera.
Easy to say!
Wait till it happened to you!
I had my own taste of sorrow earlier this Year. Now, when I hear that Somebody lost Someone, I understand.
But a Day is coming when there will be no more sickness, no more ache, no more Pain, no more death, no more sorrow.
… That should be your Expectations!
So let conclude: Daddy what is your Greatest Expectations? – Tell us.
I will tell you.
My Greatest Expectations is that I see all of you in Heaven – Amen!
Not just those of you looking at me now or reading now on the Label of DMC; not only those who are in The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – I know that more will still join.
My Greatest Expectations is that I will see you all in Heaven – Amen!
That when we get to Heaven – If Jesus Christ will allow us because I don’t know for sure but if He will allow us, Members of the families of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) we can occupy a Particular Section in Heaven.
Even the Angels will come and look at us and say: Ha, Ha; you People tried!
… I want to see you all in Heaven.
How many of you will be there with me – Let me hear you shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
Which is why you find me crying all the time – If you are not living Holy, live Holy because without Holiness, Nobody is going to Heaven.
Don’t mind what anybody may tell you – You must be Holy for you to see God.
And then, if you are not Born Again and you say that you are going to Heaven – Which Heaven are you going to?
Jesus Christ said it clearly: Except a Man be Born Again, He cannot see the Kingdom of God.
ALTAR CALL
So, if you are listening to me today or reading now on the Label of DMC and you have not yet surrendered your Life to Jesus Christ and yet you want to be Part of the Great Family of God; you better come and give your Life to Jesus Christ now because we only know today; only God knows tomorrow.
So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, you want Him to save your Soul, wash away your sins so that you will be able to get to Heaven on the Last Day; Come!
I’m going to count from one (1) to ten (10) and before I say ten (10); come and Stand before the Altar. We will Pray for your Salvation and then we will continue with the Program.
So, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, come now as I’m counting:
The Choice is yours – You must be Born Again if you are to ever make it to Heaven.
The Bible says: What does it Profit a Man if he wins the whole world and losses his own Soul – Come and give your Life to Jesus Christ now.
Now, those of you who are already Infront and those of you who are on the way; Please cry to God now: Lord, have Mercy on me, save my Soul, I want to be one of Your Children, I want to make it to Heaven when I die.
Please, save my Soul today, wash away my sins and I will serve You for the rest of my Life.
And the rest of us, let us stretch our hands towards our New Brothers and Sisters and intercede for them – That the Almighty God who save our Souls will save their own Souls also.
Pray for them.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION
Father Almighty; I want to bless Your Holy Name for the Word of God that has gone forth today.
Thank You for all Your Children who has decided to come and surrender their lives to You – Father, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
They have come Lord, Please save their Souls, forgive all their sins, let Your Blood wash them Clean and Please write their names in the Book of Life, receive them into the Family of God Oh Lord.
And Lord, from now on; anytime they Call on You answer them by Fire.
And I’m Praying Lord God Almighty that in Your Kingdom, they will not be missing.
Thank You Almighty God.
For in Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
Now, I rejoice with those of you who has come forward.
I want to assure you that from now on, by God’s Grace I will be Praying for you.
