OPENING PRAYER
Almighty, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Unchangeable Changer; we Worship You – We Worship You our Saviour, our Healer, our Provider.
We Thank You Lord of Hosts, we give You all Glory and Honour for keeping us till today.
We Thank You for everything that You have done for Akwa Ibom State.
We are asking that tonight, You will Please accept our Worship in Jesus Name.
Father, we are Praying that tonight, You will visit all Your Children; that all those who are listening to us now or reading now on the Label of DMC will receive a Miracle from You.
We Pray that You will bless our Governor, You will bless his family, You will bless his Government and You will bless Akwa Ibom State.
Father, we are Praying that all those who wish Akwa Ibom well, they will be blessed.
We Pray Lord God Almighty that at the end of it all; all Glory and Honour will be Yours and the Blessings of Heaven will be Poured down on everyone of us.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Somebody shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!

You have to Pray for me tonight because it is a very difficult thing asking a Pastor to Preach after a Bishop has spoken.
Particularly, when the Bishop is not an “Ordinary Bishop” but he is Bishop T.D Jakes.
In case you don’t know him very well, I believed that God gives us someone like Bishop Jakes only once in a Generation.
Those of you who knows me very well; you know that I don’t flatter because as a Mathematician, I am keenly aware of how important time is.
So, I always listen to a Preacher – Every Preacher at least once.
If I listen to a Preacher for one hour and I don’t gain anything in the one hour, I will never listen to that Preacher again.
But the first time that I heard Bishop Jakes Preach – Which is about thirty (30) Years ago, I have been listening to him since then. There is never a time that he will Preach that you don’t gain something.
Let us give the Lord a Big Round of Applause for this Great Servant of The Most High God – That he could even travel down to come and be a Blessing to us.
The Almighty God will bless you sir – Amen!

I want to salute all the Excellencies who are Present here tonight – God will bless all your States in Jesus Name – Amen.
I want to salute all my Spiritual Fathers in the Lord who are here Present – There are so many of you. I appreciate you all for giving a Pastor like me an opportunity to share with the Children of God.
And for all my Brothers and Sisters; the Almighty God that you have come to meet here tonight will Supply all your Needs in Jesus Name – Amen!
Very quickly, we will go to the Bible Text – Isaiah 51:11:
Therefore the Redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with Singing unto Zion; and Everlasting Joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain Gladness and Joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
Let me start by saying that: There is someone here tonight who will never know sorrow again – Amen
There are two (2) Dimensions to a Journey and Life is a series of Journeys:
- The first Dimension of course is “The Going”.
- The second Dimension is “The Returning”.
And as the Bible has said: The End of a Thing is better than the Beginning thereof.
In other words, “The Returning” is more important than “The Going” Particularly if you have met “The Redeemer” on the Way!
If you travel and along the Journey you come across The Redeemer; your Returning is definitely going to be far better than the Going!
That is why He said: “The Redeemed” of the Lord – Those who has met The Redeemer on the Way and became Redeemed shall return and come with Singing.
Let me use this opportunity to tell Someone here tonight or those reading now on the Label of DMC that as the Lord lives, by the time you return here Next Year, you will be Singing – Amen!
- If the Sick travels to the Redeemer, he will return with Singing.
Let me give you an Example very quickly:
In Mark 2: 1-12; the Bible says a Young Man undertook a Journey – He was Paralysed from Neck downwards. His four (4) friends has to carry him because they heard that Jesus Christ was in a Place – You know the Story!
They got there, there was no room to go in through the door, no room by the window; so they had to climb to the roof because they made up their Minds that they will not return without meeting with the Redeemer.
They broke the roof, laid down the Fellow at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ.
At the end of the day, the one who was carried-in walked back home.
He walked back home Singing a Song – I was Sick, now I am Healed!
In the Name that is above every other names, everyone of you who came here today sick, on your Way home, you will be Singing: I was Sick, now I am Whole!
Some years ago, there was this Young Man that the Doctors called his Parents – The Parents were very Wealthy People but he had Cancer in the Final Stages.
So, they told his Parents – Go home, take your son home if you want him to see his Native Country again because they are Nigerians.
… Take him home now because he has less than two (2) weeks to live.
Then they brought this Young Man to the Redemption Camp.
When I saw him – His head has become swollen almost three (3) times the normal size. Even my Faith shook.
It took him one (1) hour to drink a bottle of coke because the Sickness has so enlarged his head that he was already choking.
But we Presented his case to “The Redeemer” because “The Redeemer” is also the Healer.
By the Special Grace of God, when some weeks later this same boy returned to the United Kingdom, to the very Doctor who said that he has two (2) weeks to live; they could not believed that they were looking at the same Fellow.
He was able to said to them that: Yes, I was condemned to die but now I am Whole.
In the Name that is above every other names, because you came tonight or as you read now on the Label of DMC: Every forms of Sickness or Disease that you brought here will not follow you back home – Amen!
- When the Poor, the Destitute travels on a Journey to meet with “The Redeemer”; that Fellow is going to return Singing: I was Poor but now I am Rich.
I will give you just one Example:
In 2 Kings 4: 1-7; the Bible tells us a Story of a Widow – The Widow of the Son of the Prophet, who had nothing in the house of Value.
The Creditors came and they said: There is nothing in this house that we could sell that is of Value rather than just to sell your children.
… Pay us or your children are gone!
She ran to the Servant of The Most High God and cried – You know the rest of the Story!
The Man of God told her what to do – She went, she did as she was told.
She came back to the Man of God, and the Man of God said: I know what the situation is now – Go back home, tell the Creditors that: I was Destitute, now I have More Than Enough!
I have Good News for Someone listening to me tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC: You might think that you have just come to a Carol Service but you have come to keep an Appointment with God.
Because I believed that by the time you are returning Next Year, your Song will be: I was Poor, now I am Rich.
And you may: How can that be?
Years ago, when I transferred to the University of Ilorin (Kwara State Nigeria) to lecture. One Young Man that I used to know in Lagos, who happened to be an Electrician came to help me to put things in order Electrically in my New Place.
When he finished, he asked me to Pray for him and I told him that because of what you have done, you don’t need Prayers: You are Blessed!
He said: Amen. But he said that I didn’t even have the money to travel back and I gave him the money to travel back.
As he was coming down at Ido Park in Lagos; he met a Classmate that he has not seen for long – Ha, long time no see. What are you doing now?
I am an Electrician and the other one said that I am working at the “State House” – Come and see me tomorrow.
He went and saw him and that one arranged for him to get a job – Two (2) weeks later, he was riding a Brand New Car.
All you need is just one “Single Miracle”, a “Single Breakthrough”.
I am decreeing in the Name that is above every other names: That Single Breakthrough that will put an end to Poverty Permanently in your Life will happen before the end of the Year – Amen!
So that when you return Next Year, you will be Singing: I was Poor, now I am Rich
- Now, when the Barren travels to meet with “The Redeemer”; she will return Singing: I was barren, now I am Fruitful!
You know the Story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1: 1-end.
She has been going to Shiloh for Years but on this Particular occasion, she came to Shiloh and had an Encounter with “The Redeemer” who incidentally is also called: “The Fruitful Vine” – John 15: 1-2.
As she made the contact through the Servant of the Living God because she was Praying as she had always Prayed but this time, there was a Man of God who made a Decree – The Lord grant your Request!
By the time she returned to Shiloh, she already had the first of the six (6) children.
I am here tonight not just to Preach to you – I can’t even Preach after the Bishop had Preached but I am here tonight to Prophesy to Someone that the enemies might even think that you can never have a Child. By the time you return Next Year, you will be carrying a Set of Twins – Amen!
You say: How can that be?
Well, you Probably heard the Testimony before – We are having a Program like this back home in Lagos and it was time to Pray – And your time to Pray will come very, very soon!
And I told everybody to ask God whatever they want from God and everybody started Praying – You know the Story!
And when everybody was Praying, I was Praying too because I needed Help.
And so I closed my eyes to Pray because that’s how I was taught when I was a Child. And all of a sudden, God spoke to me and said: Open your eyes. I almost said Lord but I’m Praying.
But I opened my eyes and He Pointed to me in the crowd a lady who was weeping very bitterly and said: Go and tell her, Stop weeping.
I went to her, tap her by the shoulders – I said: My daddy asked me to tell you – Stop weeping.
And immediately, her eyes brightened up because she knew that at long last, God had heard her.
I have Joy to announce to Someone here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC: Stop weeping because God had heard you – Amen!
A Year later, there was a lady standing before me (A lot of People lined up for Prayers) and as she opened her mouth to speak and all she can only say is: Jesus!
I said: Yes, what can I do for you? – She opened her mouth again and said: Jesus!
Finally, I said: Sister, there are still a lot of People on the line.
She said that I was the lady who was weeping that God said should weep no more.
… And now, it was my turn to weep but this time for Joy because on the Left Hand she was carrying a baby and on the Right Hand she was carrying a baby.
In the Name of the same God who has never Changed; I decree to Someone here today or reading now on the Label of DMC: It doesn’t matter what the Doctors may say, when you return Next Year you will be here with your own children – Amen!
- If the one in Bondage travels to meet “The Redeemer”; by the time he returns, he will be Singing: I was bound, now I am Free.
You know the Story in Mark 5: 2-20 – It tells us the Story of a Mad Man who was so Mad that Mad People don’t go near him.
He saw “The Redeemer” coming, fell at his feet and worshipped Him – You know the rest of the Story!
He didn’t even Pray – The demons inside him wouldn’t allow him to Pray but “The Redeemer” took control and all the demons left immediately.
By the time that he became completely Normal, he said to the Lord: I will go back with You wherever You go but the Lord said: No, go and tell the People what God has done for you.
… And he went everywhere, telling them just one Story: I was bound, now I am Free.
I don’t know how many People are under one Bondage or the other tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; but because you have come to meet with “The Redeemer” tonight; even by the time you get home, you will be Singing: I was bound, now I’m Free – Amen!
And to Close this little Sermon, I want to tell you in Conclusion that there is no way you will have an Encounter with “The Redeemer” and remain the same – You are bound to Sing a New Song.
Once you are Redeemed, you come back saying: I am a different Person from the Fellow you used to know.
The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 – It says: Therefore, if any Man be in Christ, he is a New Creature; Old things are Passed away, behold all things has become New!
I’m sure that you Probably have heard my Personal Testimony again – If you have not, I will tell you and then I will let you take a decision tonight.
Before I met the Lord Jesus Christ, as a Young Man I was a Sportsman and Photography was my hobby – And that was a dangerous combination for any Young Man because the End Result of it was that I had many girlfriends. So many that I cannot really count them!
But there was one among them that we did everything together – I’m sure that you want to know what that one means but that is none of your business.
But after some time, we Parted ways – She got married, I got married. She disappeared!
And then I moved from University of Lagos to University of Ilorin and her husband was transferred too from his Place of work to Ilorin.
Meanwhile, when I was in Ilorin, we had a little Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Branch there and I was Pastoring that one in addition to being a Lecturer.
And this lady had given birth to a child and the child was born Lame.
In the house where they were living, Somebody told her: If you take your child to this Pastor, if he Prays for your child; the child will walk.
So, she came to the Mission House, met some People at the Verandah and she said: Please, I want to see the Pastor and they said that he is inside.
So, she came inside, open the door, saw me and we greeted (You know Old Flames: Long time, no see et cetera et cetera).
Finally, she said that I want to see the Pastor and I said: Yes, can I help you?
She said that I want to see the Pastor and I said that I’m the Pastor.
She said: You? – I said: Yes. You the Pastor? – I said: Yes!
She said: You will Pray and God will answer?
She didn’t know that between the time we saw last and now, I have met “The Redeemer” – we Prayed a Simple Prayer and the child began to walk.
I have Good News for Someone here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC: God is about to turn your Life around – Amen!
You meet “The Redeemer” tonight or as you read now on the Label of DMC and you will become Somebody entirely different!
Since I met “The Redeemer”; everything I touch had Prospered. I am who I am today because I met “The Redeemer”.
I don’t know if you read the Good News – The “Little University” God helped me to start just some few years ago; in the ratings of all the Universities in Nigeria that came out just about two (2) days ago – That “Little University” has become Number Two (2) in the whole land; next to the Oldest of all the Universities.

And when People asked me how come?
When you meet with “The Redeemer”; He Changes everything – He Changes your Failure to Success; He Changes your Sorrow to Joy; He Changes your Barrenness to Fruitfulness; He Changes your Sickness to Health.
He Changes everything from Bondage to Freedom; from Unknown to Someone who will be Known!
ALTAR CALL
And so, I’m going to ask you – In your own interest, if you had never surrendered your Life to “The Redeemer”; this is a Great Opportunity for you to do so.
If you come to Him now, He will save your Soul, you will even go home tonight Singing: I was a Sinner, now I am Redeemed; I was lost, now I am Found; I was Blind, now I see.
You can go home with Hope and knowing that from now on, your tomorrow will be alright because the Bible says: Christ in you, the Hope of Glory!
It doesn’t matter what may be happening in the Country, once Christ is in you; you know that your tomorrow will be alright.
So, I’m going to ask that if you will really want to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ; as I count from one (1) to fifteen (15) – You Stand Up wherever you are as a Sign to the Almighty God that you want to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ.
I will Pray with you, the Lord will save your Soul and then you have a New Beginning.
And by the Next Time we meet, you will be Singing a New Song.
So, all over the Place, if you want to give your Life to Jesus Christ, will you kindly Stand Up wherever you are.
Now, those of you who are Standing, talk to the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray a very Simple Prayer, ask Him – Please Redeemer save my Soul, let Your Blood wash away my sin and I will serve you for the rest of my Life.
… Talk to the Almighty God, He will grant your Request now.
Those of you who are already sure of your Salvation, will you Please Pray for those who are standing – Ask that the One who saved your Soul will save their own Souls also. Intercede for them.
Let us cry together and Pray for these People – That everyone of them standing now, surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ will be Redeemed tonight. So that even before this Night is out, they will be Singing for Joy, they will return home Singing that we are Sinners, now we have been saved.
Pray for them for just one (1) Minute and then I will Pray with you.
Thank You Father.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name.
I want to Thank You for Your Words, I want to Thank You for the effect the Words have had on these People standing now or reading now on the Label of DMC, who has surrendered their lives to You.
Please Lord, receive them all, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins and Lord God Almighty, write their names in the Book of Life and they will never, never backslide again.
I Pray that from now on, anytime they Call on You, You will answer them by Fire.
Thank You my Father.

Now, those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ; will you Please shout a Big Hallelujah – HALLELUJAH!

Now, before I leave, Christmas is about a week away; “The Redeemer” is also the Great Provider – He can Supply all your Needs
I’m going to ask you to Pray to the Almighty God now because Needs differs:
I. If what you want is Healings, you are going to cry to Him and ask for Healings as your own Christmas Present.
II. If what you Need is Deliverance, that is what you will ask for as your own Christmas Present.
III. If what you Need is Progress or Accelerated Promotion, that is what you will ask for as your own Christmas Present.
IV. If what you Need is Increased Anointing so that you can serve Him better than you have done before; that is what you ask for as your own Christmas Present.
So, I want you to Please Stand on your feet because this is a Very Special occasion and you are going to lift your Voice to Him – It is between you and God now.
In the Name that is above every other names, anything that you ask God for tonight or as you read now on the Label of DMC; you will be Singing the Testimony by tomorrow Morning – Amen!
So, I want you to lift your Voice to the Almighty God – Tell Him and say: Lord, I have come to You now; I want to return Singing; I want to have Everlasting Joy. I am asking for this, this and that as my own Christmas Gift.
Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God and He will grant your Request!
