GENERAL PRAYERS
- Well, let’s bless God for His Holy Name. Let’s give God all the Glory, all Honour and all Adoration.
Thank Him for what He has done to you since the beginning of this Year – Thank Him for January, for February, for March; Thank Him for bringing you to the Second Quarter of this Year (2022).
Worship the King of Kings, Worship the Lord of Lords, Worship the Ancient of Days; Magnify His Holy Name.
Thank Him for Life, Thank Him for Provisions, Thank Him for Protection. Thank Him for His Mercy, Thank Him for Standing by you, taking care of you, taking care of your family. Thank Him for the assurance that your tomorrow is going to be alright. Praise His Holy Name.
Thank You Father – In Jesus Mighty Name we have Worshipped (Amen).
- And then lift up your Voice to Him and say: Father, in my Life, let this Month (April 2022) be a Very Glorious one for me in every facets of my Life.
Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God!
Thank You Lord. Glory be to Your Holy Name.

OPENING PRAYER
Oh Ancient of Days; the Father of the fatherless, the Father of all fathers, the Father of all mothers, the Father of all Children – Glory be to Your Holy Name. Please, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
Father, we are Praying that anyone who has been suffering from any form of Delay; today ypu put an end to the Delay. That all manners of Waitings will be terminated today.
Those who has been Waiting on you for “Precious Husbands” and “Precious Wives”; this Month (April 2022) my Father and my God; Perform the Miracle.
Those who are Waiting on you even for the Fruit of the Womb, this Month (April 2022) Perform a Miracle.
All Single Mothers who has been looking unto You for Settlement, this Month (April 2022) Perform a Miracle.
All Widows and Widowers looking up to you for a Miracle; Please Perform one this Month (April 2022).
All the People who are Waiting on You for Promotion, for Acceleration, for Progress, for Breakthrough; Father this Month (April 2022) Perform a Miracle.
Before this Month (April 2022) is over, let it be said of all Your Children that these People are for Signs and Wonders.
And all Your Children who has been Faithful in the Payment of their Tithes and in the Giving of their Offerings, this Month (April 2022); with Your Blessings, embarrass them.
That kind of Blessings that People will look at them and Wonder; my Father and my God give unto them.
Let it be well with all of us today and let this Month (April 2022) be an Extremely Glorious Month – Have Mercy on us, have Mercy on Nigeria, have Mercy on all Nations of the world.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Well, let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
And then wave at one (1) or two (2) People and Prophesy – No More Waiting (Amen).

Well, how many of you expect that before the end of this Month (April 2022); you will shout for Joy – The DMC Family Members.

Well, before we go into the Topic of today, I think that I need to clear one very important Point:

Now 1 Kings 19: 15-19
- And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be King over Syria:
- And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be King over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be Prophet in thy room.
- And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.
18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.
- So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was Plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his Mantle upon him.
Our Topic today is: “WAITING WITHOUT WASTING”.
- God has a Plan for your Life.
Before you are born, God has a Plan for your Life – Just like He had a Plan for Nigeria before we were even born.
Because, whether you know it or not, who is going to be our Ruler, God knew it before we were born.
As for you, He has a Plan for your Life.
Jeremiah 1: 4-5, He said: Before I formed thee, I knew thee; while you are still in the Womb, I have Settled your case.
… That is what God said!
He has a Plan for your Life – He has a Plan for who you will marry, when you will marry et cetera et cetera.
… He has a Plan for your Life.
- Your Future will seek you out.
You are not the one to struggle about your Future – You can’t even do much about your Future anyway!
I told the Pastors Last Month or the Month before that time is like a River flowing steadily.
When you are born, you got into the River and the River is carrying you along.
You are not where you are today because you are Clever – Everything has been Planned before you are born.
And I can Prove it to you from my own Life Experience – But your Future will seek you out.
Elisha was busy Ploughing – He thought that he was going to be the Richest Farmer in the Land but God said: Thank You my friend; you are going to be my Prophet – Period!
I thought that I was going to be the Youngest Vice Chancellor in Africa but God said: Thank You Sir, you are going to be Pastor. Keep getting all the Degrees but you are going to be be what? – A Pastpr!
So, your Husband To-be will locate you, your Wife To-be will be located – Your Future will seek you out!
Elijah sought out Elisha – They had finished the discussion about Elisha when he didn’t even know what was coming.
- And if there are any Delay – And this is very important; it could be because you are Precious. Or the one that is going to be your Partner is Precious.
The Elders has a saying: The one who is late in eating doesn’t eat rubbish (ẹni tí ó pẹ́ ko t’oúnjẹ kì í jẹ ìdọ̀tí/ibajẹ).
In Luke 1: 1-25 – The Bible tells us that Elizabeth and Zacharias were both Holy People and they Prayed, they waited, they did everything but God didn’t answer because the baby that is going to be born through them is going to be only six (6) Months older than Jesus Christ.
When that boy was finally born, it was written about him in Matthew 11:11; that he was the Greatest of the Old Testament Saints.
… God knows your Future – Your Future is Settled (Amen).
He knows who is going to be your “Perfect Wife”, your “Perfect Husband”. He knows what is going to be Perfect for you.
And I Pray with all the Anointing of God upon my Life – God’s Perfect Will concerning you will be done – Amen.
Therefore, be careful of short-cut. Don’t say that God is late – Let me use my own Wisdom!
If you do so, you will get what God does not Plan for you and you may not even like what you will get finally!
You know the Story of Abraham and Sarah – God Promised Abraham that I’m goinh to make you the father of many Nations.
Abraham said: But I’m barren? – God said that I know what I’m doing.
The wife said: Papa, nothing is happening o. This is my housemaid, go in to her.
Each time I read that Story, I always Pondered about father Abraham – Your wife said go in to my Maid and you said thank you my dear.
Ha, Ha; so you too has been thinking about it? He didn’t even say: Let me Pray! – God help father Abraham (Amen).
And the Problem that came as a result of that Agreement, the world is yet to recover from it.
Wait for your Isaac – He will surely come!
As long as God remains the God Almighty, if you allow His Perfect Purpose for your Life; it will come! And He knows many ways by which He could maneuver things to happen.
He maneuvered me out of my Plan and I didn’t even know when He was at work then.
… And He is working out His Purpose in your Life now – Amen.
I told you that several years ago, there was this Scolarship – They call it “Commonwealth Scholarship” and I applied for it so that I can go and do Master Degrees somewhere in one of the Commonwealth Countries.
I came for the Interview – And in Mathematics, it is either you know the answer to a Question or you don’t know. Mathematics is not a “Guess Work” – That is why People run away from it.
I sat down at the Interview, they asked me the Questions and I was looking at them – What kind of Question are you asking me? Do you know I’m a Honours Student in Mathematics? What is this? Ask me something serious as this is supposed to be an Interview.
After I have answered all the Questions correctly, the Chairman of the Board of the Interview, who is from one Part of the Country that I won’t mention was fully asleep when they were Interviewing me. They woke him up and they said: Sir, have you any Question for him?
He said: Yes, yes; where is Entebbe?
DMC NOTES: Entebbe, City located in South-Central Uganda. Entebbe is situated 21 miles (34 km) South of Kampala, at the end of a Peninsular that juts into Lake Victoria. It was founded as a Garrison Post in 1893 and served as the British Administrative Centre of Uganda until 1958.
Entebbe ke? (Meaning Entebbe how?) – I said: Sir, I am here for Mathematics and not Geography. And everybody laughed and I lost because the Chairman was made ridiculous.
But as I was coming out of the Hall where they Interviewed me – It was at the University of Lagos, Lagos State Nigeria, I met a Man who was my Lecturer at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (DMC NOTES: Nsukka is a town located in Enugu State Nigeria where University of Nigeria was situated).
And he saw me and said: Adeboye! I said: How are you sir?
He said what are you doing here? – I said that I came for this Interview.
And he said: Why do you have to go Abroad? I know your Stuffs, come to the University of Lagos for it and I will supervise you.
That was how I ended up at the University of Lagos. That was where I got Born Again and that is why I’m Standing before you today – He caused Somebody to fall asleep so that he could ask a ridiculous Question, so that I won’t miss my Purpose.
In the Name that is above every other names; your Purpose in Life shall be fulfilled – Amen!
Now, Delay could come as a result of one (1) or two (2) or three (3) things:
- Maybe you don’t like what God is Presenting you with.
Genesis 29: 16-35 – God wanted Jacob to marry Leah. Leah is not very beautiful and it is Rachel that he wanted.
So, he laboured for seven (7) Years and the father In-Law who was a “419 Man” when it was night, sneaked in Leah.
Jacob was so in Love that he didn’t even check the face of the Fellow he was sleeping with. The following Morning, he said: Hey, you!
Read that Passage very well – Leah was bringing forth children like Rabbit. Almost every Year, she will Produce another one (Child).
But Oga Jacob said: No, No, No; it is Rachel that I want. The father In-Law said then you have another wait.
Some of us – Beautiful Ladies, God has shown you your Husband but you look at the Man and say: This one for me?
I’m sure that you heard the Story of a girl who Prayed and said: God anyone that you will ask me to marry, I will marry the Fellow.
She finished Praying and a Brother came and said: Sister, doeth saith the Lord; you are the one that I will marry.
And the Sister said: Oh, God I ask for anybody and not anything.
And you my boys – Anything in your Life that will cause anybody to call you anything; God will remove it today – Amen!
- Delay could be caused by Forces of Darkness – There could be Demonic Intererence.
Daniel 10: 1-14 – Daniel was a Man of God who is committed to God; Pure in every way and he won’t even eat the King’s meat.
And he Prayed and Fasted for twenty one (21) days and the answer didn’t come.
On the 21st Day, an Angel came and said: Sir, from the first time that you Prayed; God heard and sent an Angel to bring you the answer. But on the way, a demon stopped me and we were wrestling until God sent another Angel to come and engage that demon so that I can bring you the answer.
So, there could be Delay caused by Evil Forces!
Some of you will even remember the Testimonies of one of my daughters – She came to a Meeting in our former Place of Worship like this and God spoke to me that there is a girl here, God says your mother is the one standing between your Marriage. If she does not let you go, she will die within seven (7) days.
The following day, the mother came with the daughter – Very, very angry. You are the one who is spoiling this little girls, doing all manners of things to them. You said that I’m going to die?
I said: Me? Did I mention anybody name? – Mama said that her daughter came home and said that she will die within seven (7) days.
I said not you ma – Don’t mind her. God said that Someone and I didn’t know how she picked that one up.
She said okay, if that is the case the girl should go out.
The girl got out of my office and she said: Pastor, is it true that what you said will happen?
I said it is not you ma – I’m not talking about you. But the woman who is not allowing her daughter to marry; as my God lives before the end of the week, they are going to bury the woman.
She said that it is not that I don’t want her to marry but she is the one taking care of me.
I said that is not a Problem Mama. I will talk to the Husband and they will take care of you double. Okay, if that is the case, that is alright.
Less than six (6) Months later, my daughter was married.
I decree today that anyone blocking your Way – Blocking your Way to Progress; blocking your Way to Fulfilment; blocking your Way to Joy – If he or she does not repent, that Fellow will not see the end of this Month (April) – Amen!
- Finally, another cause of Delay could be your own Disobedience.
If God says – Don’t go this Way and you say Daddy, that is where I am going. Then, okay go!
Don’t do this but you said that is what I will do – Fine, it is up to you.
Numbers 22: 10-34 – God said to one of the Prophet, Balaam by name: Don’t go with Balak; you can’t curse my People. They are my children and when my children are blessed, they are blessed. You try to curse them, you are the one who will end up in trouble.
But there was “Big Money” that was waiting. So because of money, he decided to go contrary to the Will of God. So on the way, an Angel blocked his way.
You know that I have said it before:
I. If a demon stands on your way and you are a Child of God; you will say in the Name of Jesus Christ, get out of my Way. It is written that at the mention of the Name of Jesus Christ, every knees must bow.
II. But if it is an Angel that is blocking your way and you said: Get Out of my Way and he said why? And you said because in the Name of Jesus Christ, every knees must bow.
He will say: It is Jesus Christ who asked me to Stand here. He is the Lord of Host.
III. If it is God that is blocking your way; there is Nothing any General Overseer can do for you.
You can Fast, you can Pray; if God is the one blocking your Way, until you repent the way is not going to open.
In the Life of all of you my children – No More Delay – Amen!
So, if you know that you are disobedient to God; start obeying Him immediately. Don’t, let anybody put all manners of rubbish into your brain – Read the Bible for yourself!
For Example – The Almighty God said: Bring all the Tithes into My House.
Some People got up and said: Oh, that is Old Testament, that is Law, it is Moses Speaking.
I. Hey, Abraham Paid Tithe hundreds of Years before Moses was born.
II. Matthew 23:23; Jesus Christ Himself said: Do every other things that you want to do and Pay your Tithe also.
No, No, No; I’m not going to do that – That is fine. God won’t Struggle with you. Some of you will learn by Experience.
I have told you the Story of a friend of mine – Of Blessed Memory now; who was a Great Lawyer.
He gave his Life to Jesus Christ and the issue of Tithe came up – And you know as a Lawyer, he dribbled me fine, fine.
At that time, I wasn’t fully a Full Time Pastor but was still a Lecturer at the University and finally, I said that the Tithe is not coming to me as it is for your own Good. God is saying that you do that, I will open the Windows of Heaven.
He said: Okay, let us reach an Agreement – I said okay but what is the Agreement?
He said: Let God show me if it is true – And I said that is Great. Great Man!
He lost three (3) Cases in a row – And if you ask Lawyers, they will tell you that is not Good for your Practice.
He has a Bakery from which he made a lot of Money. Christmas was approaching and his Bakers came to him one day and said we resigned.
Why? – I will double your Money.
Christmas is the Peak Period. They said any amount you give us, we are not working for you anymore.
What have I done? – We are not working for you anymore.
That Festive Season Passed and he lost a lot of Money.
Then he came to me and said: It appears as if God is talking! – I said: Are you sure?
He said that from now on, I will restitute my Way. And I said that in that case, watch and see.
He Appealled all the three (3) Cases and won the Cases.
Bakers came from all over asking to be Paid even less than what he was Paying originally.
If God shuts the Door, Nobody can open it; when He opens a Door, Nobody can close it.
ALTAR CALL
Maybe, God has been Calling you saying: Surrender your Life to me and you have been resisting and you are asking why the Delay?
Or you claimed that you are Born Again and you are still living in sin?
When the Bible says that when a Man is in Christ, He is a New Creature; Old things has Passed away, all things has become New.
But Nothing has become New in your Life and you are wondering why the Delay?
You are Welcome if you want to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ today. If you want to return to God, if you have backslided – You are Welcome.
I will count from one (1) to five (5) – It is your own Choice. But if you give your Life to Him and you really mean it; there will be no more Delay!
… So, I’m counting now!
Those of you who are already infront and those on the way, let us talk to Jesus Christ – Tell Him that I have come to surrender my Life to You; I will do Your Will from now on.
And if you are a Backslider, come back to Him and say: I am coming back home; Please take me back Oh Lord.
Everybody Please Stretch your hands to those who are infront and Intercede for them – Ask that the Almighty God will have Mercy on them and save their Souls. And ask that the Blood that cleanse you from all sins will cleanse these People from all their sins.
Pray for them Brethren, Intercede for them. Let’s cry to God for them.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER.
My Father and my, I want to Thank You for Your Words and I want to Thank You for these Your Children who has come forward to surrender their lives to You.
Father, Please receive them, forgive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins. And from now on, anytime they Call on You, answer them by Fire.
In their lives, every forms of Obstructions remove today.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
Now, I rejoice with those of you who has come forward. I want to Promise you that from now on, I will be Praying for you.
So, I’m going to need your names, your Address and your Prayer Requests and I Promised you that I will be Praying for you.
But I want you to wait here because I want you to join us in this Final Prayers.
Can we Please Stand?
Lift your Voice to the Almighty God loud and clear and say: Father, in every facets of my Life; let there be no more Delays!
… Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God!
