OPENING PRAYER
Father Almighty, the Owner of Heaven and the Earth; we Worship You.
We Thank You because You are one hundred Percent (100%) Unlimited – You are everywhere at all times and there is nothing too hard for You to do. Please, accept our Thanks in Jesus Name.
Today, in Your Own Miraculous Way, show Yourself to be the Almighty in Jesus Name. Prove to all of us that You are the All Sufficient God.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Praise the Lord – Hallelujah!
Well, wave at one (1) or two (2) People and say: God Bless You today – Amen. And then you may Please be seated.
As we continue our discussion on “Going Higher” – “Going Higher – Part 64.
We will continue from where we left off last Sunday (Going Higher (Part 63) on Sunday, 19th June 2022) from the Bible Text:
1 Kings 19:18 – Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.
We mentioned then that our God has seven thousand (7,000) ways where we may have only one way.

And so we want to continue from there by saying – We serve a God who is “More Than Enough”.
Genesis 17:1 – The Almighty God said that His Name is Jehovah El-Shaddai (The God Who is “More Than Enough”),
Bible Scholars says what that name – “More Than Enough” means is that: “I am God, your Mother’s Breast”.
You know that when you are a child and you are hungry snd you want to suck milk – No matter how hungry you are, no matter how you are satisfied; the milk is still there in the breast of your mother.
And if you are a Set of Twins; the two (2) of you can get satisfied and there will still be milk in the breast of the mother.
It doesn’t matter how many of you – Triplets or even more; there is always enough milk in Mama’s breast (Meaning Mother’s breast).
And God is saying that: “I am More Than Sufficient” for the whole world.
And He is not only “All Sufficient”; He is also “Very Generously” so – He is not stingy with all that He has!
Psalms 23:5 says: Thou Anointed my head with Oil, my cup runneth over.
I have shared that with you before that the first time I read that Passage after I became Born Again; I asked God why the wastage? When the cup was full, why didn’t you stop?
He said so that People will know there is “More” where it is coming from.
It doesn’t matter how much Blessings God had already given you; He will give you more today in Jesus Name – Amen!
Ephesians 3:20 talks about our God who can do Exceedingly Abundantly above all that you may ask or even think.
… Not just Abundantly but Exceedingly Abundantly above all that you can ask or think.
John 10:10; Jesus Christ said that I have come that you may have Life and have it more Abundantly.
But the real Point God is trying to make to Elijah is that – Elijah, “You may be Limited” but “I am Unlimited”.
One thing that you need to learn as you “Go Higher” in the Lord is that your focus should not be on your Limited Self, Limited Abilities, Limited Knowledge, Limited Wisdom. Your focus should be on a God who is Unlimited!
- As Human Being, we are Limited by Time or by Age.
As you grow older, it becomes more and more difficult for us to do what we can do when we were Youmger.
The Bible says that the Glory of the Youth is their Strength.
But what happens when you begin to grow old? – You become not as Strong.
But our God is not Limited by Age:
I. Exodus 3: 13-15; God said that my Name is: “I am that I am”.
II. Daniel 7:13 calls Him the Ancient of Days – He has been around for a long time and He is still around.
III. Psalms 90:1 says: Before the Mountains were brought forth, He is God; from Everlasting to Everlasting, He is God.
- We as Human Being are Limited by Strength.
Isaiah 40: 28-31 tells us that even the Young shall be weary, they shall faint but God never even grows tired.
2 Samuel 21: 15-17 tells us that David went to war and wax faint.
The Giant Killer wax faint, he got tired and would have been killed if not for Somebody that came to his rescue.
But God is never waxing faint, He is never getting tired, He never sleeps or never slumbers.
- We as Human Being are Limited in Resources but God is never Limited by Resources.
Haggai 2:8 – He said: Silver is mine, Gold is mine. I own it all.
Psalms 24:1 tells us that the Earth is the Lord and the Fullness thereof.
Consider the Fullness thereof – Consider the Crude Oil, Diamond, Steel, Iron, Gold, Silver; they are all from the Earth and they are all the Fullness thereof. And God owns them all.
That is why He can daily loads us with benefits – Psalms 68:19.
When He wants to bless us, He does it by loading us because He is Unlimited by Resources.
- We as Human Being are Limited by Power.
When we are talking about Power, there is a limit to your Power and it doesn’t mean who you think that you are.
Whatever you are – The Head of State or the Most Anointed of all Prophets; you are still Limited by Power.
Why? – Ecclesiastes 8:8 says: Nobody has Power on the day of death.
No matter how Powerful you are; you cannot tell death – Leave me alone, I don’t want to go!
I mean you know Elisha – As Anointed as he was; when the time came for him to die, he died. There was still anointing in his bones to raise the dead but Nobody has Power on the day of death.
But our God is not Limited by Power.
Psalms 62:11 says: God has spoken once, twice have I heard it that Power belongs to God.
- We as Human Being are Limited in Knowledge.
You don’t know that? – Read Job 38: 1-28. It is a very Good Book for reading and see if you can answer all the Questions there.
For Example – Consider the Question: Who is the father of the rain? Who is the mother of the dew? (DMC NOTES: Both Questions is in Job 38:28)
Which of the Questions there with all your PhD’s can you answer?
Whereas, God is not Limited by Knowledge.
Acts 15:18 says – Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the Earth.
I have told you before that it will take you a thousand Years to learn all that you need to know about Mathematics – Just One Subject.
You will need to live for a thousand Years to become a “Real Specialist” in Mathematics. And yet, God knows all the Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and even all the Subjects that are yet to be discovered.
… He knows them all – He is not Limited in Knowledge!
- And because Human Beings are Limited in Knowledge, it follows that we are Limited in Wisdom because Wisdom is the correct Application of Knowledge.
As a matter of fact, the Bible puts it this way in James 1:5 – It says: If any Man lacks Wisdom, let him ask God.
… You want Wisdom, go and ask God. And He said that He will give it to you liberally.
Daniel 2: 20-22 – Daniel said that God gives Wisdom to the Wise.
So, the little that you have; you got it from God!
God is not Limited in Wisdom. Why? Meaning what? – Without Him, we are Nothing.
John 15: 1-5 – Jesus Christ made it clear that: He is the Vine, we are the Branches; the Father (God) is the Husbandman. Everything that the Branch is or can ever become; depends on the Vine; just as the Vine depends on the Husbandman.
The fluid that is flowing in the Branch, they got it through the Vine; the Fruit that they Produce, they got it through the Vine.
That is why He said – Without me, you can do nothing.
So, as you “Go Higher”; keep that in Mind – Without Jesus Christ, you can do nothing.
My Prayer is that God will use you Mightily for His Glory – Amen. He will use you to heal the Sick; use you to open Blind eyes; use you to raise the dead; use you to make the barren Fruitful and use you to cast Mountains into the sea.
But don’t forget that without Him, you can do nothing!
But God is not Limited in Wisdom.
Jeremiah 32:27; God says that I am the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?
And so when we link up with this God who is Unlimited, who can do all things; suddenly we discovered that through Him, we can also do all things.
Philippians 4:13 says – I can do “All Things” through Christ that Strengthens me.
In other words, the Strength to do all things comes from Him and not me.
But if He withdraws the Strength, there will be Nothing left.
I have told you of someone who says – Oh, if God should withdraw from him, there will be very little left.
I say: You still have something left? – If the Lord withdraws from me, what will I have left?
Let me consider Pastor Adeboye for Example – If Jesus Christ should withdraw (And God forbids); tell me exactly what will be left?
Oh, well he has a PhD in Mathematics and so he can go and Pick his Certificate. I will go to them at the University of Lagos (Unilag) and say – Oh, I’m here. Once a Mathematician, forever a Mathematician.
They will tell me that the Students you taught in the 1970’s they have retired as Vice Chancellors (VC’s) and so we have no space for you.
I Pray for everyone of you doing Mighty Things for God; God will not withdraw from you – Amen!
Through Him, we can do all things as long as He is the One Supplying the Strength!
So, God was trying to tell Elijah – Well done sir; Thank You; yiu are a Good Boy:
I. But without me, you can do nothing.
II. But without you, I can do at least seven thousand (7,000) things.
Thats an Humbling Revelation!
He was telling Elijah that I am “The Original Majesty”,
Daniel 4: 34-35 – There was a King who thought that he was the “Real Majesty”. Nebuchadnezzar was his name. He was in charge of Practically the Greatest Nation in the world of his time.
After God showed him that he can turn a King to an animal for seven (7) Years and still Preserved his Kingdom for him; awaiting his repentance.
He opened his mouth and said – I thought that I was the King but now I know that I am not even better than a grasshopper. He (Nebuchadnezzar) said that He (God) does as He (God) wishes in the course of Heaven.
God is Higher the highest!
My Prayer is that everyone of you following me all those weeks on Series on “Going Higher”; learning how to “Go Higher”; my Prayer for you is that the Almighty God – Week in, week out, will lift you Higher – Amen.
And so no matter how high you rise, do not forget that there is Someone called “The Original Majesty”. If He departs from you, there will be Nothing left.
I have referred you to the donkey that Jesus Christ rode into Jerusalem.
As long as Jesus Christ was riding that donkey; People were spreading their Clothes for the donkey to ride upon.
And I’m sure that the Ass must have looked at himself and said – Look at me; they clothed me. Not only that, I’m even walking on their Clothes.
… Hey, here comes “King Donkey”.
The moment Jesus Christ got down from the donkey; the Bible did not tell us what happened to it.
Remember that the donkey was not in Jerusalem; it came from a different Place – Jesus Christ sent People to go and bring it. They never returned the donkey and it became a Wanderer.

Beloveth, Psalms 91:1 is my Conclusion – He that dwellet in the Secret Place of the Most High, shall abide under the Shadow of the Almighty.
Dwell with Him, dwell with Jeaus Christ in all Humility and then you can abide in His Shadow! – His Shadow alone is enough to settle you completely.
And of course, if you have not even come near Him, when you know that you are living a Life that is naked and there is Noboxy to cover for you.
Many of you think that you don’t need God!
Remember that Nobody knows the Value of an Umbrella until it begins to rain.
You may not know the Value of God until trouble comes.
And you know what? – Sooner or later, trouble is bound to come.
He said in His Words – That when you are Passing through River, when you are Passing through Fire (“When” not “If”) – Sooner or later in life, you will Pass through Fire but if the Lord is with you; the Fire won’t burn you.
Even those of us who are Christians, they didn’t tell us that there won’t be Problems – All He said is that we will survive because He will be with us.
If He is not with you, sooner or later; you will walk through the Valley of Death and then you will know the meaning of Fear.
If you have not given your Life to Jesus Christ; when the time comes for you to walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death; you will know that no matter how high you think you are, that you have no Power on the day of Death and you will know what is called Fear.
But if you come to Him today, then you can walk through the Valley of Death and you will be sure that He will be with you.
ALTAR CALL
So, if you want to surrender your Life to Jesus Christ, bow your head wherever you are – Cry to Him, ask Him to Please save your Soul, receive you into the Family of God so that when you have come to the Limit of your Ability; He will be there – The Unlimited God Protecting you and filling every holes that is in your Life.
So, if you want to give your Life to Him now, Please call on Him – And say: Please have Mercy on me, save my Soul and receive me into the Family of God. I want You by my side all the time Oh Lord and I will serve You for the rest of my Life. Call on God now!
And all of us that are Born Again, Please intercede for them – That the God who save your own Soul will save their own Souls also so that you too will begin to enjoy Fellowship with Him.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I want to Thank You most sincerely for Your Words that has gone out once again today.
Thank You for reminding us that while we are Limited, You are not.
I am Praying Lord God Almighty – Particularly for those who has surrendered their lives to You today. Please receive them, save their Souls, let Your Blood wash away their sins.
Lord, receive them into the Family of God and Please, anytime they have Needs, Please meet the Needs Lord, answer their Prayers by Fire and let them serve you for the rest of their lives.
And Lord God Almighty, today I Pray that Your Sufficiency will take care of all our Sufficiency; that You will Prove Yourself to be “More Than Sufficient” and that forever, Your Name will be Glorified in our lives.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
All those of you who has given your Life to Jesus Christ, I rejoice with you today. I am Promising you that by the Grace of God; I will be Praying for you.
So, if you will contact me as soon as Possible; I will Promise you that I will be Praying constantly for you. But you will send your name, your Address and your Prayer Requests and I will be Praying for you.
And then, if you will contact the Pastor of the nearest Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to you; he will arrange for your Baptism and you will even be Qualified to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit.
