2. Since wages of sin all round death is
Disease, Physical pain and distress
But Jesus took stripes on Calvary
By His Stripes I was healed, wholesomely.
3. And with my sins came mental darkness
Light of God I could not again see
Jesus broke through the darkness for me
I was blind but, o yes, now I see.
4. Sorrows of hell once overwhelmed me
I was sinking deeper all the time
Jesus brought Salvation unto me
And its joy erupted within me.

Nothing but a very dark picture
