BIBLE TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 2: 1-5
We want to thank our Heavenly Father who has kept us to be Part of another RCCG Holy Ghost Congress 2022.
This Year’s own is Special and I have no doubt that God will leave an “Indelible Prints” in your Life for which you will remain grateful for Life.
I will like to thank very sincerely our own father-in-the-Lord – Pastor E.A Adeboye. I’m so grateful to God for the Example you have become to all of us. I Pray that the Lord God Almighty will continue to renew your Strength and Lengthen your days – Amen!
Our Generation is grateful to God to have a Man that you are.
I thank our Mummy – Mummy GO. I’m so Proud of the role you have continued to Play in all of these. May God continue to keep you and renew your Strength.
All the Leadership – The Men and Women that are helping to hold the hand of God’s Servant. And you have contributed in no small way to the Spread of the Gospel across Nations of the world and joined The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Story.
I thank God for your Life. May the Lord God continue to keep ypu, may His Oil never run dry in your Life.
And all of you tuning in now or reading now on the Label of – Wherever you are at this time, I have no doubt that God can Change your Life; turn your Night into Daylight and put a New Song in your mouth to sing.
Our Topic today is: “LAUGHING LAST”.
I’m reading from: 1 Samuel 2: 1-5
- And Hannah Prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy Salvation.
- There is none Holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
- Talk no more so exceeding Proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of Knowledge, and by Him Actions are weighed.
- The bows of the Mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with Strength.
- They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
OPENING PRAYER
Thank You Father for Your Precious Word.
Breathe upon Your Word the Breadth of Life, that Your Word hit the “Intended Target”. Give a Turnaround to Your Children, move Mightily and Sovereignly in the lives of all those that are Participating in this Program.
I give You the Glory and Honour. In Jesus Mighty and Victorious Name – Amen!
- “Laughing Last” Pre-supposes that there were some Laughters before this.
- “Laughing Last” is a Testimony of those who wins or succeed or Triump at the end after a visible and tangible Setbacks.
- “Laughing Last” is a Testimony of Triumph after a battle.
- “Laughing Last” is the disposition of a spontaneous Joy associated with Victory at Last.
The Bible says in Psalms 30:5(b) – Weeping may endure for a Night but Joy cometh in the Morning.
Many times in the world we live in, the world is quick at Laughing. The world will not tell you of your “Good Past”, they will not tell you the areas that you are Excelling, they will not talk about your Goodness, the Mercy you shown, the areas you have excelled in Life – They will not Highlight it.
They will want to focus on your “Failed Portion” and Laugh at you because they thought you ought to have it and you haven’t gotten it.
I want to speak to you today that their “Earlier Laughter” will be Swallowed Up by the Laughter that God will put in your mouth – Amen.
You know that the Bible says of this woman called Hannah – Married to a Man that had another wife called Peninnah. And Peninnah gave her a lot of troubles because she had no children.
Peninnah had children at will – She wanted a boy, she got it; she wanted a girl, she got it. So, she had children at will.
But for Hannah, children were not forthcoming and Peninnah made the home a Hell for her – She laughed her to scorn. She mocked her, made the house uncomfortable and unbearable for her.
The Bible says that she Provoked Hannah everytime – You don’t have children, you only know how to wear Clothes, you only know how to fry stew. You don’t have children – If children were easy, why won’t you have one?
You know that there is a way that the world works – They don’t see the end but they want to Judge you by what you are today!
In Micah 7:8; the Prophet says: Rejoice not against me Oh my enemy. When I fall, I shall arise and when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a Light unto me.
Many times, People are soon to rejoice over the Failure or Short Put of the other Person.
Do you know that you are easy to conclude when the Final Whistle is not blown yet?
And there are many People, many times will try to dress you in a Jacket that you don’t really deserved.
And I Stand here today by the Anointing of God and I declare that the Jacket of Barrenness, the Jacket of Poverty, the Jacket of Sickness, the Jacket that is evil, that the enemies put on you; are Strip from you today by the Authority of God’s Word!
And if you look at that Micah 7:8 very well – It said: “When I fall”.
The word “When” is an Element of Time.
In other words – The Propensity is there for Man to fall.
We all face Challenges in Life – At times, you expect the Sun and it is Cloudy; at times you expect Promotion but what you get is the reverse; at times you wake up in the Morning happy and saying that it is a “Good Day” but things don’t turn out the way you want it.
And the Enemies are quick to rejoice – They don’t know that your tomorrow is save in the hands of God.
So, Hannah bore all these until she came for a Program – Just like this Holy Ghost Congress.
I don’t know who I’m speaking to – You may have your own Challenge; it has defiled all “Human Solutions”; Medical Sciences seems not to solve the Problem; Human Counsels seems to be stunted. I don’t know who you are but the Challenge in your Life, the Challenge in Marriage, the Challenge in Business, the Challenge of raising families – May be overwhelming you and you have come to the Holy Ghost Congress or wherever you are now or reading this on the Label of DMC. This is your Season – This Season will not pass you by – Amen!
God wants to Change the Narrative – That Reproach will be rolled away from your Life today (Amen).
I Proclaim Emancipation and Victory for you – In the Place of Failure, there will be Success; in the Place of Darkness there will be Light; in the Place of Sickness there will be Health.
That is your Portion – The lines are falling in Pleasant Places for you. You didn’t come to the Holy Ghost Congress just to associate!
Psalms 30:11 says: Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.
That is what God want to do for you – The enemies do not have the “Last Word”; their Laughter is not the Last.
You know whatever Peninnah was saying – Yes she was mocking Hannah and her God and God showed up for her. Hannah went for a Program, expressed herself, cried to her God.
Although we are many here but I am Your Child, this thing will roll away from my Life.
The Bible said that she (Hannah) Prayed so much so that the Prophet thought that she was drunk.
And Eli the Prophet came and said: Why are you drunk this Morning? The Young Lady said: My dear father-in-the-Lord, I am not drunk. She said that out of the Abundance of my Heart, my Heart is full; out of the Abundance of my Complaints and my Grieves, I have spoken unto the Lord.
Everyone of you – Wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC; you will not be denied of the God of the Holy Ghost Congress – The God of Miracles, the God that gives Turnaround, the God that can Change Destiny, the God that makes a Way where there is no Way. He will show up for you today in the Name of Jesus – Amen!
Do you know that the Prophet told Hannah to go in Peace and that the God of Israel will grant her Petition that she has asked of Him.
Wherever you come from – The East or West; the North or South; Within or Outside Nigeria or wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC – This God is “Big Enough” and He will hear you (Amen).
Wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC – Whatever Petition you brought to Him, the cry of your Heart; He is ready (Amen).
You know that when Hannah heard the Word of the Prophet, she received it.
The Bible says that her Countenance was no more sad – She stood on God’s Word that never fails!
The Bible says that you should believed in the Lord your God, then you will be established. And the Bible also says believe also His Prophet and you will Prosper.
I urge you today to lift your Countenance high and receive God’s Word – That Reproach has come to an end; that shame has come to an end; Night of weeping has come to an end. The Lord will intervened on your behalf, and give you an Answwr of Peace in the Name of Jesus (Amen).
The Bible says according to Psalms 30:11 – Though has turned for me my mourning into dancing.
This God majors in turning things around:
I. He turns People from sin to Righteousness.
II. He turns People from Failure to Success.
III. He turns People from Poverty to Riches.
IV. He ensures that Darkness never reigns continuously in your Life.
V. He breaks the Power of Evil and give you Good.
And that is what is coming to you today – Amen!
And I speak to you – They laugh first, they called you names, they mocked at you but you are going to “Laugh Last” and you are going to “Laugh Best” – Amen!
So, Hannah went home and she became Pregnant.
So I want to speak to you – Wherever you are, whosoever you are; don’t take this “Prophetic Utterances” out of this Pulpit for granted. God does not mince words, God is not a Jocker as He stands by His Words. What He says that He will do, He will surely do it.
Hannah gave birth to a bouncing baby boy whose name was called Samuel.
She (Hannah) called him Samuel – Meaning “I got him from God”.
You will get something from God in this Conference – You will get what you want, your Expectations will not be cut short. The same God who did it for Hannah will do it for you too – Amen!
And you know that Hannah returned back a year later in 1 Samuel 1:26.
Hannah returned back to Eli and said: Oh my Lord, as thou Soul liveth, I am that woman who stood there, who you thought was drunk. I cried unto my God and He heard me.
I mean that you too; you are coming back – You will hold your Testimonies in your hands, you will have your Samuel. Whatever you desire – The Challenge that they have been laughing at you with; God is reversing it. He will shut up their mouth by what God wants to do and it will be your own turn to Laugh!
So, in 1 Samuel Chapter 2, Hannah began her Laughter.
She said: My heart rejoices in the Lord, my Horn is exalted in the Lord, my mouth is enlarged and I rejoice in thy Salvation.
And Hannah concluded that: There is none like unto the Lord, none as Holy, none as Powerful, none as Gracious; as the Lord. For there is none beside thee, neither is there any Rock that you can trust and depend on like our God. You can trust Him and be saved.
You know that the Bible says in Jeremiah 31:13 – Then shall the Virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
In Psalms 124:1-2 – If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say. If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
Thank God for His Goodness – In Psalms 124:7; the Psalmist says that: Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
I speak to you today – The Chains of the enemies can no longer hold you and the snare is broken (Amen).
The snare of Poverty, the snare of Barrenness, the snare of the yoke of Singleness, the snare of the yoke of Setbacks, the snare of the yoke of Childlessness, the snare of the yoke of Unemployment, the snare of the yoke of Retrogression – By the Anointing is destroyed in your Life and in your Family (Amen).
The Power that held you bound are broken by the Anointing – Amen!
So, Hannah began to speak – Talk no more exceeding Proudly, don’t be arrogant that you get this or that.
If things are going on well for you, don’t laugh at those that has not made it. It is not by your Strength!
For God is a God of Knowledge – He weighs Actions. He looks at your Heart, He defends the Poor, He shows up for those who trust in Him, He ensured that the enemies don’t Laugh at you.
So I speak to your Life today – There is a “Reverse Syndrome” going on now. God is reversing the situation that is against you in your Favour.
He is the Lord of “Reverse Theology” – Whatever held sway in your Life that don’t want you to access your Canaan Land is broken and the Law reversed in the Name of Jesus (Amen).
In Psalms 126:1; the Psalmist says: When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
And the Bible says that God turned it around for Hannah.
God also turned it around for Sarah – Sarah said: He has made me Laugh, so that all those who hear me will now Laugh with me.
There is a difference between “Laugh at you” and “Laugh with me”.
What will happen to you is that they will now “Laugh with you” because God has given you Laughter – So, its your Season to Laugh!
If you read your Bible closely – God bless Hannah later with more children because you don’t serve God to lose.
Wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC; I speak into your Life – Divine Intervention that will wipe tears away from your eyes, that will give you “Beauty for Ashes”, put a New Song in your mouth, the Garment of Praise in the Place of Heaviness in the Name of Jesus (Amen).
The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:10 that the God of all Grace who has called you after that you have suffered a while will Perfect you, will stablish you, will strengthen you, will settle you.
Do you know that Jesus Christ the Son of God came into this world, He loved the People, He served the People, He gave food to the Hungry, He healed the Sick, He Cleansed the Leprosy, He opened Blind eyes etc.
The Bible says in Acts 10:38: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power: who went about doing Good, and Healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.
But do you know that the world didn’t like Him?
There are always People who will stand up against what is right.
Do you know that they ganged up against Him? The Religious Leaders of His days didn’t like Him.
Jesus Christ told His Disciples that a time is coming in John 16:20 – He said that they will rejoice and they will be sorrowful.
John 16:20 says: Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into Joy.
Joseph, after all he went through could tell his brothers – He said that as for you, you thought evil against me but God turned it around as it is today.
… That is Laughing Last!
And I declared into your Life – That situation will not overwhelm you. They thought that they got you but you are coming out of it. You will stand Tall again, you will have Sunshine again in your Life and you will have reason to smile again (Amen).
You know that when Jesus Christ was crucified – Of course, they spit on Him, they wore Him a Crown of Thorns, He went to the Cross, they nailed Him.
That was a Painful Thing – And His Disciples were sorrowful and the world was rejoicing.
But you know that the God who turns things around; turned it around – After three (3) days, Jesus Christ resurrected, the Grave couldn’t hold Him and the Power of the Grave was broken.
Jesus Christ having Paid the Price of sin, came out of the Grave Triumphantly and the Disciples who were sorrowful heard it and heard that He was alive. And they saw Him, felt Him and ate with Him.
Acts 1:3 says: To whom also he shewed Himself alive after His Passion by many infallible Proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things Pertaining to the Kingdom of God:
But you say – Reverend Omobude, Please Pray for me. I want things to turn around for me. They have been laughing at me, mocking me and this Laughter is too much. I want God to give me Laughter and make me Laugh so that my own Laughter will swallow their Laughters.
ALTAR CALL
Wherever you are or reading now on the Label of DMC; if you don’t have Jesus Christ; the enemies has already gotten you.
So, you don’t have Jesus Christ – No Life, no Victory, No Success without Jesus Christ.
Why don’t you give your Life to Jesus Christ and I urge you that you want Transformation, Transmutation, Complete Turnaround; then the first Step is to allow Jesus Christ come into your Heart.
And I am going to lead you in a Simple Prayer if you will believe me and believe these words; your Journey to Laughing Last begins now.
Say: My Father and my God; I come to you today. I have heard Your Words, I can confess that I am a Sinner. I ask that You have Mercy on me, I believe Jesus Christ died for me and He rose for me.
I opened my Heart now and I receive Jesus Christ into my Heart as my Lord and Saviour from today.
I believed that I am saved because of the Sacrifices of Christ.
I Thank You my Father for writing my name in Your Book of Life.
Thank You. In Jesus Name – Amen!
CLOSING PRAYER
And wherever you are, whatever situation that you may be facing; Jesus Christ a Master over the Storm is willing to Calm your Storm and give you Beauty for Ashes.
I speak into your Life, may I ask you to hand over your Problem to Him – The Great Physician, Miracle Worker is here. He wants to heal you and turn things around for you, He wants to give you Joy in the Place of sorrow, He wants to turn things around for your Good.
Now, I Pray for you – In the Name that is above every names, the Name of Jesus; I speak into your Life, I break every Chains that has held you bound, the Red Sea and the Jordan that tend to stop you from accessing your Canaan Land, I divide them by a Supernatural Action today in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Every Setbacks in your Life is today reversed in your Favour.
You have cried enough and it is time for you to Laugh. They have laughed enough at you, God will give you a Laughter in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Your Darkness is turned to Light; your Poverty transmitted to Riches; Healings for the Sick, Deliverance for the Bound; is decreed for you now.
Receive it! Receive it!! Receive it!!! in the Name of Jesus!
This is your Season, your Set Time has come – Receive your Miracle now in the Name of Jesus Christ.
I Command every attacks of the enemies against you to get out now; I rebuke them now.
Take your Healings and it is well with you.
And I bless you – You will return back to this Holy Ghost Congress with your Testimonies!
