- Let us lift up our hands to the Most High and Thank the Most High – Worship Him, Adore Him. Let Him hear Your Voice, Praising and Worshipping Him. Tell Him You Love Him, You appreciate Him, lift Him High, give Him all the Glory, all the Honour, all Adoration; bless His Holy Name.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen.
- Brethren, I want you to lift up your Voice to Him and say: Father, if You are Blessing three (3) People here tonight; let me be one of them.
Go ahead and talk to the Lord.

OPENING PRAYER
Ancient of Days, the Light of the world; the One who spoke and said: Let there be Light and there was Light; we Worship You.
Thank You for this Extraordinary Day – The Day You choose before we were born.
That on the Day when fathers are honoured and You Father of fathers, sitting on Your Throne and being in Perfect Control.
This Day, Lord God Almighty; You have Chosen for us to have this Gathering and You know how many of us will be here.
My Father and my God, I’m Praying that tonight; You will do something New; and You will do something Special.
Please Father, do something that we will never forget.
At the end of it all, let Your Name be Glorified.
And my Father and my God, I’m asking that You will bless this Particular Building; bless the Authorities here, let it be well with them and Prosper their Ministries.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Let Someone shout Hallelujah – Hallelujah!
And then before you sit down; I know that you love to sit very well in America.
We don’t mind Standing for long in Nigeria – Maybe our legs are Stronger.
I want you to Prophesy to one (1) or two (2) People and say: Darkness will leave you alone from now on – Amen!
And then, you may Please be seated – God Bless You!
My own Assignment is just to bring you “A Father’s Blessing”.
And you have heard some very serious Preaching – Who is going to ask a Pastor to Preach after an Apostle (DMC NOTES: Apostle Joshua Selman) has spoken.
And my Young son who set the ball rolling – That was Good.
And I will be failing in my duty if I don’t acknowledge that the Choir too has been Good.
You need to appreciate the Ministry of the Choir – They spent countless hours rehearsing. While we were busy doing something else, they are busy Preparing.
What they Present in Minutes, they had Prepared for it in hours and days.
I just want to Prepare you for what God is about to do very, very soon!
John 9: 1-7
- And as Jesus Passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
SIDE COMMENT: The Man’s Problem like Someone said – He came to the world in a hurry that he didn’t wait to get eyes.
- And His Disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his Parents, that he was born blind?
SIDE COMMENT: This has become a matter of “Theological Discuss – And there might be 1 or 2 People who are here; People are already discussing us. They are already saying: Where is your God? You will be the first to go to Church; everybody around knows us as “Mama Adura” (DMC NOTES: Mother of Prayer) or “Papa Church” (DMC NOTES: Father of Church) and yet, look at your Life?
- Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his Parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
SIDE COMMENT: As the Lord God who sent me lives – In the Life of Someone here today or reading now on the Label of DMC; the works of God will be made manifest in your Life – Amen)
- I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is Day: the Night cometh, when no man can work.
- As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.
- When He had thus Spoken, He spat on the Ground, and made Clay of the spittle, and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the Clay,
SIDE COMMENT: When God touches Clay, it becomes Anointed. The “Very Ground” that you are sitting on now tonight is already Anointed – Amen.
- And said unto him, Go, wash in the Pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
Today is Fathers’ Day and:
I. I have the Right to decree to all my children that: It shall be well with you – Amen!
II. I have the Right to bless you on Credit even as I Stand before you and then you will Pay for it later.
… That’s the America way of Life!
WHEN THE LIGHT OF GOD PASSES YOUR WAY:
- The first thing you can expect is that – Every “Generational Curses” in your Life will be Destroyed.
You see because they asked a Question – Who sinned? Is it the Parent of this Fellow that has brought this Problem upon him?
Because when the father sins, the children can be Partaker of the repercussions.
2 Kings 5: 20-27 – It was Gehazi who sinned but when Elisha was Pronouncing the Curse upon him; he said that the Leprosy of Naaman will cleave on you and on your Seeds forever.
There are many Sicknesses that are as a result of Curse – Nowadays, the Medicals will call it “Genetical Problems”. It comes from the Genes!
Every Evil coming from your Genes, the Light of God will wipe it out tonight – Amen!
You see, that is why the Bible says that if any Man be in Christ, He is a New Creature; Old Things has Passed away, behold all things has become New.
That is why when you become “Truly Born Again”; you Change families – You can move into the Family of God!
Because for as many that has received Him, to them He gave them Power to be Called Children of God!
So, I thank God for all those who gave their lives to God tonight because you are now in the Family of God – And in the Family of God, there is no Curse.
So, when the Light of God comes your way; even if your Problems can be traced to the sins of your Parents; the Problems are over tonight – Amen!
- Then they asked a other Question – Maybe it is the Man who sinned.
Your own Personal sin can bring a lot of trouble to you because the Bible says that the Soul that sins, it shall die.
And there are several Agents of Death – Sickness is just one of them.
There are Problems that will hastened Someone towards the Grave.
I mean in Mark 2: 1-12 – The Bible said that they brought a Man who was Paralysed from Head downwards to Jesus Christ.
He was so Paralysed, so Heavy that it took four (4) Men to carry him.
When they got there, they found out that there was no way through the door and no way through the Window. They climbed to the roof – Tore the roof, tore the Ceilings and brought the Man down to Jesus Christ.
Everybody Present should know – This Man is here for Healing but Jesus Christ went to the root of the Problem.
When He looked at the boy, He did not say: “Boy, be Healed”. The first thing that He said was: “Thy sins be Forgiven thee”.
… He knew that boy was in that Problem because of whatever it is that He did.
When the Lord healed the Man by the Pool of Siloam, who has been Sick for 38 years.
After He healed him and the Man went to the Temple rejoicing and Jesus Christ met him there; what was it that He said to him – Go and sin no more or else something worst will happen.
So, those of us who are toying with sin, you are asking for trouble – Sin kills; take my word for it!
There are those who will tell you that once you are Born Again, you can continue to live a Life of sin, a Life of Carelessness; that Grace will cover it – That is not what my Bible teaches.
The Bible made it clear – We cannot continue in sin and expects Grace to abound.
The Word of God made it clear – It says: God forbids.
Your Personal sin can get you into very Serious Trouble.
But on this Particular occasion, the Light of God was Passing by and so Jesus Christ answered the People – Now, we brush aside the Parental sin, we brush aside the Personal sin.
So, if there is any Problem that your sin has brought upon you; in the Name that is above every other name; that will be gone tonight – Amen!
- When the Light of God is Passing by you; the next thing thar you can expect is “Divine Touch”.
Jesus Christ touched the Man – He split on the Ground, made some little Mud out of the Clay, Put it where the eyes were supposed to be (Remember, I told you that the Man left Heaven without eyes).
So Jesus Christ said to the People – We just want to show you how Man was created from the Mud.
So, where eyes were supposed to be put, this Man didn’t wait for his own – So, let us arrest the situation and so He put some Mud there.
Now there are some “Smarter Legs”, some “Clever Boys”; who will tell you that Jesus Christ was Practicing Medicine there.
What I have asked them is – If that is how to make the Blind see, why didn’t you Practice Medicine too? Split on the Ground, made some Mud and let the Blind see.
But when God touches Mud, the Mud becomes Anointed.
I am Praying for all of you who are here today or reading now on the Label of DMC – Because you came, even the Dress that you are wearing will become Anointed – Amen!
So, the Lord touched him!
And if you read Matthew 8: 1-3; the Bible said that when the Leper came to Jesus Christ and said that I know you can make me Clean if you are willing.
The Bible said Jesus Christ moved by Compassion touched him.
And when God touches you, your Life can’t remain the same!
In the Name that is above every other name; God will touch Someone tonight or as you read on the Label of DMC – Amen!
Many of you has heard the Story of a time I went to the North in the Northern Part of Nigeria to go and Minister in another Church.
And when I finished Preaching, the Pastor put me in a room to go and wait and then put Somebody at the Entrance to make sure that People don’t disturb me.
But as soon as I settled down; I can hear Someone talking to the boy by the Gate – I want to see the Preacher. And the Fellow at the Gate said why do you want to see him. And the woman said to him, that is None of your business but I must see the Preacher.
Anyway, she forced her way in and then she was dressed like a Muslim Sister – Face almost totally covered.
And so I said: Yes, what can I do for you?
Then she said that I’m about to talk to you because I know that you don’t live here – So, I became a bit Suspicious.
And then she said that I have never heard Faith Preached the way you Preached it tonight and so I know that God is likely to solve my Problem.
What is the Problem? Then she removed the veil and she was a Leper.
Of course, I recalled Involuntarily.
To cut a long Story short, I Prayed for her.
When I asked why have you not told the Brethrens here? She said that if I tell them and they Prayed and Nothing happened; when they see me Next time, they will say: Here comes a Leper. But you don’t live here and you are going.
About a year later; I was back to the same Church to Minister. And as I was coming out of the car, here come this very “Beautiful Lady” smiling brightly and she said: You don’t remember me?
I said: No ma. She said that I was the Leper but your God touched me.
I am not going to touch you tonight but there is a Hand, Mighty enough to touch each and everyone of you!
God will touch you tonight or as you read now on the Label of DMC – Amen!
- The 4th Thing you can experience when the Light of God Passes by you is that Darkness will depart Permanently.
In Mark 10: 46-52; you know the Story of Bartimaeus – Who was sitting by the roadside.
When the Light was Passing by, He cried out, he got His attention.
I Pray that when it is time to Pray tonight, you will Pray!
You will Pray like we used to Pray in Africa because I have observed I don’t know why that in America, you Pray like Ladies and Gentlemen.
Well back home in Africa where I come from, we Pray like Lions and Lionesses.
When you need Help, you can’t afford to be Gentle – Get your Miracles first and then you can become a Gentle Man.
Bartimaeus did not Pray like a Gentleman – He disturbed everybody with his Noise. They told him to shut up but he told them that you are not the one in trouble, you can shut up.
Maybe that is why you People can Pray quietly as you are not really in Problem – If you are sick, there are Doctors around and drugs of all kinds.
But where I come from:
I. The Doctors has gone for Greener Pastures.
II. Those who are Compassionate enough to wait for us; when you go to the Hospital, there are no drugs.
III. If the drugs are there, some of us don’t have the Money to buy the drugs.
Some People have asked me – Why is it that you have a Program called “The Holy Ghost Service (HGS)”; that you started since 1986 and it is still growing bigger?
It is because the People know that if they get there; they will get their Healings for Free. Because there is a Doctor that won’t travel to Saudi Arabia – His Name is Jesus Christ!
So tonight, when it is time for you to Pray; Pray like Bartimaeus and Darkness will leave you alone!
… Bartimaeus was never blind again.
When we talk about Darkness, we might be talking about Darkness of the eyes and then there is Darkness of the Spirit.
You know the Story of the Mad Man in Gadara in Mark Chapter 5 – This Man was tortured by a Legion of demons and he was Practically destroying himself.
He was cutting himself with Stones and he has habits that are very Destructive.
But when the Light Passed by him, all the demons left in one go and he was never Mad again.
As a matter of fact, not only was he healed from Darkness, his Destiny was restored – He was created to be an Evangelist but then the demons came and took him over, then Light came and chased away Darkness.
The Man that they thought will die without anybody to bury him, because he knew that his case was Hopeless, he was living in the Graveyard so that when he dies, Nobody will need to bother.
Suddenly, he become a Man who Preached the Gospel so much that the Bible says that the next time that Jesus Christ came back to that Town, the crowd was so much that He can’t even find the time to rest.
There is Someone here tonight or reading now on the Label of DMC; because Light is going to come your way, Darkness will leave you alone and your Destiny that has been truncated by Forces of Darkness will be restored – Amen!
- The fifth thing you can expect when Light comes your way is because as soon as Darkness is gone and Light comes; Progress becomes easy.
Nobody can make much Progress in Darkness!
If all of a sudden, the Light here goes off and we asked all of you to go out; it is not going to be easy for you to find the door. You can move around freely now because there is Light.
When everything suddenly goes blank; suddenly you won’t remember where the eyes are.
But when the Light comes, Progress becomes easy and rapid!
When God gets rid of Darkness in your Life tonight; beginning from this very week, you will begin to make “Rapid Progress” – Amen!
- The sixth thing that you should expect when the Light comes your way tonight is found in John 9: 24-25.
Because People were discussing – Is it the Man who was blind or Somebody else et cetera et cetera.
When they didn’t know what to do, they Challenged the Parents and the Parents said: Ask him now!
And they said to him: Hey, give Glory to God! This Jesus that you said opened your eyes, we know Him to be a Sinner. A Sinner cannot Perform this Miracle.
The Man said: Whether He is a Sinner or not, I don’t know. But one thing that I know – Whereas I was blind, now I see.
The Next Thing that you are to expect tonight when Light comes your way is a New Song.
I don’t know about this “Adeboye”, I didn’t know whether he is a Man of God but one thing that I know is that I came to this Light Up DMV:
I. I came in Sick but I moved out well.
II. I came Stagnant but suddenly I became “Rapidly Promoted”.
III. I came with a Burden but by the time that I went out, my Burdens has been lifted.
Somebody is going to sing a New Song tonight – Amen!
- The seventh thing that you should expect when the Light comes your way tonight is that you begin to Shine.
Because everywhere that Man went, People wanted to hear his Testimony.
And the Apostle (DMC NOTES: Apostle Joshua Selman) who spoke before me has already made it clear to you – You can’t Shine unless you have Light.
But when Light comes your way, all of a sudden, you begin to Shine!
And the Apostle told you that Heathens will not come to you but they will come to your Light!
When your Light comes, you begin to Shine!
Today, you may be Unknown, but before the end of this Year; because you will be Shinning, People will seek you out – Amen!
I will tell you two (2) Stories and you will then Pray – Talking about Shinning:
- Some years ago, I went to visit an African Nation.
And as I normally do, I asked for Permission to see the President so that we can Pray together for the Nation. Somehow, we got the Appointment and they told me: Maximum 15 Minutes. And I said that is enough – I just want to say: Your Excellency, we have come to Minister in your Country and we want to Pray with you.
Two (2) hours later, the President is still talking. And if the President is talking, you don’t say shut up because he can throw you to Prison.
So quietly I said: Your Excellency sir, your People are waiting at the Stadium because the Crusade was supposed to have started two (2) hours ago.
He said: Let them wait. He said that they have People they can talk, I don’t have and I have heard of you and I don’t know when next time you will be here. So, let me unburdened my Heart.
I have heard of you:
I. He hasn’t heard of a Mathematician?
II. He hasn’t heard of Somebody who was formerly a University Professor.
But he heard of Somebody who has had an Encounter with the Light.
Very soon, Presidents will be seeking for you – Amen!
If they can be seeking for Somebody like me:
I. The son of a Nobody.
II. From a Village so small that it is not even on the Map of Nigeria.
III. Somebody who until the Age of 18 years has no Pair of Shoe.
If they can be seeking for Somebody like me; they will be seeking for you too – Amen; and you will Shine – Amen!
- Several years ago – I think 1984 or 1985; we went to Korea to visit David Yonggi Cho’s Church because I was believing God that The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will grow.
So, when I heard of Somebody who has the Largest Church in the whole world, I went to his Meeting where he was going to give Talk at a Minister’s Conference.
And I got to the Church – The Church was big, huge thing, I think 50,000 People at a go and he was holding five (5) or seven (7) Services every Sundays.
And he got to the Pulpit and said to the People – Well Brethrens, those of you who are in Church today, don’t come next Sunday so that those who could not come in today will be able to come in next Sunday.
I said: Ha, a Pastor telling his Congregation: You have come this Sunday, don’t come next Sunday.
… Hey, Lord God Almighty!
At that time, I’m telling you that I Prayed! – Not a Gentleman Prayer.
Because I told the Almighty God – I was minding my own business as a Professor in the University and you Called me to come and be a Pastor and then you have to do something.
Is there anybody here or reading now on the Label of DMC, who will tell God that You have to do something about my case?
… He will do something.
Then some years ago – Maybe five (5) or six (6) yeaes ago, we were back in Korea.
At that time of my first visit, we can’t even get near his office. But this time around, I was able to get an Appointment to see him.
I got there and I said: Sir, I am Pastor “So, So and So”. Before I say much, he said that I have heard of you.
He said: Could you Please Pray for me?
Stand on your feet!
How many of you believed that you are going to Shine?
I. That the Light of God coming your way is going to deal with Generational Curses?
II. That the Light is going to deal with your Personal Curses?
III. That the Light is going to give you an Opportunity to have a “Touch from God”?
IV. That the Light is going to make sure that Darkness will leave you alone?
V. And because the Light is going to come into your Life, your Progress will become rapid?
VI. And that very soon, you will be Singing a New Song?
VII. And that you are going to Shine!
Alright, bring out your Smart Phone – And switch on the Light.
We are going to Pray by Faith – The Bible says that: The Just shall live by Faith.
So, lift up your Light and you are going to Pray – If you like, murmur it; the Choice is yours and if you like Pray like Warriors.
- Open your mouth and say: Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; give me Light tonight.
Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
- You will say: Father, let me Shine for you.
Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
- You will say: Father, don’t let my Light go out ever.
Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God.
Thank You Father. In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
I will Pray for you now and its up to you to either say Amen or not.
CLOSING PRAYER
My Father and my God, I want to Thank You.
You are the Light of the world – When your Light Shines, Darkness can’t even Stand in the way.
You spoke and said: Let there be Light and there was Light – I Thank You.
Tonight, on all Your Children here Present or reading now on the Label of DMC; let there be Light.
In their “Individual Life”; let there be Light.
Father in their families, let there be Light.
In their Towns and Villages, let there be Light.
In their various States, let there be Light.
In their Churches, let there be Light.
In the whole of America, let there be Light.
Concerning these Your Children my Father and my God; I decree: Every Generational Curses cancelled, every Personal Curses my Father and my God I decreed that they are cancelled.
In every facets of their lives Father, let there be a Divine Touch.
Father, I Pray that for these Your Children, there will be no more Darkness.
I Pray that from this moment onwards, their Progress will be Accelerated.
Even from this moment onwards, let them sing New Songs – New Songs of Victory, of Progress, of Anointing, of Joy, of Peace, of a Closer Walk with You.
Let them Shine – Physically let them Shine, Materially let them Shine, Maritally let them Shine, Spiritually let them Shine.
In every facets of Life, let them Shine – Let them Shine for You.
From now on, every Sinners they approach let the Sinner give his or her Life to Jesus Christ.
Thank You Almighty God.
Father, don’t let their Light go out and let them Shine till the very end.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have Prayed – Amen!
Now, wave your Light and let us make the devil mad – Glory be to God!
Now, the Final Prayer you are going to Pray – You are going to Pray it by Faith.
You are going to Pray it with all the anger you can muster and with all your Strength.
Loud and Clear, you are going to say: In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ; Satan I command you – I have got the Light of God now, take your “Dirty Hands” off me.
Go ahead and Pray!!!
